Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club: what do users think?
Dillon Sharan
Dillon Sharan: Visited the club to play badminton as a guest and was asked to leave the courts because my shorts weren’t white. No phones allowed in the club. This club is pretentious and rules are antiquated, will not be returning.
Adam Jinks
Adam Jinks: Great club, great members, and great staff.
Property Tech Enthusiast
Property Tech Enthusiast: VanLawn is a popular tennis members only tennis club. I’m fortunate to hv a few mom friends who r members. Indoor bubble courts r handy especially to avoid intense hot sun or cold wet weather.
Philippe Drouin
Philippe Drouin: I signed up for their ITF tournament for both doubles and singles, sent an email asking if everything had gone alright including a screenshot of my dashboard, realized my name was not in the singles draw when it came out, asked what was up with that and got an answer saying I was just not playing singles. They did not try to implement any other solution and refused to provide a full refund.
Jackson Boyle
Jackson Boyle: Great place.
Helene Childs
Helene Childs: Always friendly staff and lovely having dinner here.
William Hooley
William Hooley: Possibly one of the BEST badminton halls in North America. Nice facilities including the change rooms/downstairs areas. Friendly staff!
Mrs Circle
Mrs Circle: Very limited parking. Staff are nice, cafe food and drinks both are good, facilities is clean. No phone call allow inside the club.
Percy, Jones
Percy, Jones: Mediocre club..courts are decent, gym is limited with the amt of equipment, locker rooms are just ok for what they want to call ‘exclusive’ club, food is somewhat acceptable.
Dan Tansey
Dan Tansey: Only used the gym and had lunch. Lovely place.

Duke Stevenson
Duke Stevenson: Summer has finally arrived. Great pool and bonus hot tub.
Adam Smith
Adam Smith: Very nice place. However, I leave a mediocre review as I was very disappointed in the one tennis lesson I had at this place. I signed up for a group lesson, back when I was a student. The three other people did not show up so it was just me. I finished my class and then they wanted to charge me about four times as much for a private lesson.I had not yet gone to law school and paid them for the private class even though I contracted for a group lesson at a set price and it was not my responsibility that the three other people did not show up. I explained this to them but they did not care. I should’ve held firm. They probably would’ve called the cops.As an undergraduate student this bothered me, this was about 20 years ago. I’m over it, but I’m reminded of it when I see unfair overcharging.
Robin Hill
Robin Hill: This is THE best private Club in the City - maybe the Country! Food, social events; management; views (obviously).
Barry Price
Barry Price: Good place for small meetings, and wonderful views of the Harbour
Doug Taylor
Doug Taylor: Great food, great facility, great people
Robin Ritchie
Robin Ritchie: This classic private club had beautiful architecture on the oceanfront.Heated oceanfront pool was in use.we had the prime rib buffet. Nice service.music was a bit loud.Beautiful location.
Bijan Markazi
Bijan Markazi: Great facilities and a great view of the ocean.
LIsa Jones
LIsa Jones: So fortunate to be a member of this club. Incredible location on the beach with a resort like atmosphere. Live music on the large sunny deck overlooking the pool and hot tub with an extraordinary view of the mountains and ocean. Strict rules for juniors make the club less than ideal for families but great if you prefer a more adult oriented atmosphere. That said we spent many an evening on the beach with the kids so it does work, just not the best pool and dining hours for kids.

False Creek Public Tennis Club: what do users think?
Alec Yu
Alec Yu: This is a great little somewhat hidden spot to play tennis. Access is just off Moberly Road, you take a couple flights of stairs up from the parking lot. There are four courts that are reasonably maintained, and if you go on a weekday or before 8 on a weekend, there will reliably be at least one court free. No pickleball or washrooms/waterfountains.
Jason Yee
Jason Yee: Way too busy
Christine Kwok
Christine Kwok: Nice and quiet, really great spot not many people know about! Every time so far we’ve come after work and got a court immediately.
Nick Kazan
Nick Kazan: Truly a hidden gem. 80% of the time, I show up and get a court immediately. It’s a nice and secluded area as well.
Ed Bryant
Ed Bryant: Great club.
Tiberius B
Tiberius B: Great location for these tennis courts. Sometimes it gets busy, but if you avoid rush hours, then you can play a few good sets.
James Lau
James Lau: Cool tennis courts set above a parkade. The stairs seems a bit sketchy at first but you'll be rewarded to a quiet area for tennis

Avi Mehrotra
Avi Mehrotra: Lots of courts. Lots of players. Some courts are bumpy and uneven. Some aren’t. Just depends on how lucky you get on any particular day.
Ruming Jiang
Ruming Jiang: Courts are good. Would be great if there is lighting. Pickleball noise a bit annoying. Free parking on W 37th Ave although I don't get the point on paid parking around such a place.
John S
John S: If only these courts had lights!
Andrew
Andrew: Nice tennis courts, lots of people playing here. Playing on the the tennis courts near the pickleball courts was a poor experience. I'm sure other courts further away are ok. Pickleball players were periodically screaming/yelling, loud music was playing, and the distinct pickleball sound everytime a paddle strikes the ball. Quite distracting especially around the baseline. If noise is an issue for you, would recommend playing on tennis courts away from the dedicated pickleball courts.
Samuel Wu

TravelZar Lex: Great people here, come with a partner or alone, good system to play with other pickleballerheads.

Chris Boyarchuk
Chris Boyarchuk: Can't say I was there to tickle the pickle, but I sure enjoyed the serenity this park brings!!
d h
d h: Beautiful setting for most things good...but the introduction of pay parking slightly distorts the image for families especially during the current epidemic. Tennis courts have also become overpopulated, leading to loud arguments, threats and abusive language. Before, this park would easily have scored a 5.
John Asbacher
John Asbacher: Loud noisy sunny windy. It's got it all.
