Gerardo Montero: The best school to become a personal trainer. The program is perfectly designed and covers everything a PT needs to be successful. All instructors and team members are super prepared and friendly. I took the personalized option with Shaira and also attended the evening course with Andre, and both are excellent teachers.With all the new information and practical experience I gained at Infofit I am confident that I have everything I need to start my career in the fitness industry.And as a bonus, they have 3 super friendly dogs that will welcome you every day :)

In my opinion it is the best “value for money” experience any student could get in Canada. The staff was super helpful, and the educators were highly professional and knowledgeable. Michael Benbaruj: I have been working with the Infofit trainers for the last few years to improve range of motion and pain relief. Regular training with Infofit along with their microcurrent sessions, have removed all pain, made me more capable of adding biking and swimming to my weekly workouts which has give me back may confidence to stay physically active. I'd recommend microcurrent to eliminate joint point.
Steven A: At the gyms, you are looking at making $20/hr while they charge the client $80/hr in general. Three dogs loiter around in the class. A nonchalant woman kept walking back and forth, eyeing people as if about to complain. Most of the Certification exams don't require any schooling anyways. You are welcome.
Kian Cham: Could not recommend this program more! I completed the Fast Track program with one-on-one instruction from Shaira who is truly amazing. The program is thorough, accessible and well planned out. Based on exercise science applied via case studies and hands on gym time, I am very surprised at how much I learned from Info Fit. I chose this program because of the thorough nature of the in-person instruction described in the course outlines. Because of how unregulated this industry can be, I wanted hands -on learning and feedback from someone well-trained in the field with a degree in Kinesiology. The outcome of this resulted in very efficient instruction of theory and practice. I would 100% recommend this school.A note on inclusiveness, during my intake call, I told Portia I am trans and have attempted to complete my certification at two other institutions and dropped out because of discriminatory information being taught. She was very understanding and didn’t bat an eye. The entire staff is welcoming and genuine - a real breath of fresh air especially in the fitness industry.

chloe valiukas: Great value for what you get! The instructors care a lot about the students, that’s obvious. If you take the fast-track course, your brain might feel like scrambled eggs by the end of it. They really pack a lot of information into a month and a half! Thankfully, it’s all useful, practical knowledge for your career. They also offer an inexpensive apprenticeship program if you need more practice.
Allison Coutts: My experience at Infofit has been great thus far. All of the instructors are professional, knowledgeable and engaging. Whilst I found the program challenging, it was also a fun environment. Shaira ensures that the material is drilled into your head through activities that suit different learning styles, and Leah is very hands on and upbeat. I am looking forward to continuing my time at Infofit through their Apprenticeship program.

Christine L.: Business feels like a cash grab, especially the challenge, not worth it, I have been to better gyms. Sales Sam will push you hard to buy.. don't fall for it if you don't like it, cause it's not possible to get refunds.The Trainers are nice though. I wasn't satisfied with my experience, definitely overpriced for what you get. I calculated it costs more per month than Equinox does, the facilities are not the same, equipment is quite old.
Cheryl Giesbrecht: Doing the 6 week fitness challenge was a Game Changer for me! I had never worked out with a trainer before, and now see the immense value - with someone guiding me, I was able to push myself beyond what I would have done alone, and gained strength at a surprising rate! I used to struggle with my back and energy levels taking care of my 4 year old, but now I feel strong and capable. The folks at Kalev are passionate professionals and they care about their clients! The space is clean, the changerooms are great, and it's a good environment. Samer is so enthusiastic and encouraging, and Aloechen has a gift for training - he is present, non-judgmental, quick with a laugh, and really knows his stuff!

Selena Truong: What stands out to me about this gym is that the staff are so personable. Right from the get-go Samer's genuine energy drew me in. He made me laugh and feel like I had a good friend to lean on for support whenever I needed during the 6-week challenge! Before the challenge I was never motivated to work out alone, but the community that Alochen fosters in his group lifting classes has made working out super fun for me! He's always smiling and gives great technical advice while knowing what to say to bring out your competitive edge against yourself. I owe so much of my progress to the support of these two and they are the reason I will be continuing with the gym after the challenge! Two other trainers that I had a short but great experience with are Brennan and Levi and I look forward to working with them more going forward!
نسیم حسینی: I was on a 6week challenge in Kalev. I got a very heavy diet and in the midtime checking session I reached 3.2 percentage fat decrease goal. I decreased 7 pounds in 3 weeks. But after that the process of decreasing fat was so much harder in the second half of my period and I could not achieve my goal and lost the $520 deposit.What I am trying to emphacise is that the goal is practically unachievable. Especially the 6 percent fat decrease. Because it means that you must decrease more than 12 pounds in 6 weeks! Which is somehow impossible.But during the period I achieved my goal( not their goal!) and I lost 5 kilograms and I also used 6 personal training sessions and two TBS classes they offered.The only thing is that when you start the challenge, just forget about your $500 deposit! It is so much probable to lose it!.
Kaleena Ipema: Kalev Fitness Solution has changed my relationship not only with fitness, but has had a tremendous impact on shaping my attitude about nutrition and overall lifestyle. Even though my challenge is over (and I beat it!), I know I'll be continuing on using everything I've learned here in my day to day life.My goal was to lose 4% body fat in 4 weeks, and today at my last weigh-in I had lost a grand total of 6.7%. I believe I was able to achieve these results by coming in to as many group classes I could, doing a variety of HIIT and circuit-style workouts as well as participating in the Group Lift classes. I learned so much about fitness and nutrition, and I know that I wouldn't have been able to reach my goal without the support not only of the staff, but also of the other participants that I met in the classes.Thank you so much to everyone at Kalev—to Samer for reaching out directly to me when I first filled out a submission form online to participate in the challenge, to Alochen for helping me work on my pull-up game and teaching me how to lift, and to Isabel for checking in on my during my 4 weeks here.
Tina Tran: I've never joined a gym before but decided to join KFS a couple months ago for personal training. Takes me a long while to grow accustomed to new people and places. Brennan is my PT and he has been fantastic! I was worried I would get matched with someone pushy but I'm so grateful to have found such a genuine person. He's so patient and has such a great sense of humour. He's very passionate about his work and, clearly, enjoys what he does which motivates me to come no matter what. I really don't think I could've found a better PT. I never thought I'd ever look forward to going to the gym but Brennan has made it so easy and enjoyable!

Linda Tran: My sister and I joined KFS for pairs personal training in kickboxing. The facility is well kept and offers many different options to stay fit.Our trainer, Brennan, is awesome! We are beginners and by all means, no where close to being a fighter. He is patient when showing us moves and he is so humble and kind. He responds quick to our text messages in the event we had to reschedule and he always tries his best to accommodate our schedule. If you are looking to give kickboxing a try, Brennan is your guy!!!

Island Time: Stay away! Poor ownership and management.I honestly feel bad reviewing because the experience I had with some of the staff was great. Brennan is a class act, and was an amazing instructor for kickboxing. Keep it up man! And Rian led some great cardio classes and was also amazing to work with.My complaints are against their “4-week challenge”. They have you pay $299 + tax upfront to get either unlimited group classes or PT sessions (not both). $299/mon is actually more expensive than if you paid for a normal $44/week for their classes (not a free trial as they advertise). You also have to commit to losing 4% body fat in 4 weeks. (As measure by their scale). I put in some serious work in exercise and diet and fell slightly short of the 4% so wasn’t able to get credit back. I also heard it’s nearly impossible to see significant results from those scales in such a short amount of time. They also only let you apply credit to a 6 month+ membership and as I travel for work I couldn’t commit to this. I joined this gym as I was advertised a free trial. Unfortunately, it was a bait and switch, as I’m still getting ads for this limited availability boot camp, which never was free. Honestly I’d be open to a regular membership at this gym if it wasn’t all about the shady sales tactics, bait and switch free trials, and reluctance to sign up without commiting the whole year.Please do yourself a favour and don’t be tempted, go somewhere else. And for Kalev, I hope you change your business model, as you’ve got a good team there working for you.
Anael Anael: I trained at this gym a few months ago, while the program was fresh.I won the challenge and followed the rulesAnd the money was not returned to me as promised.This place is one big scam!!I waited and waited and nothing happened.Every time I called I was told they would call me back, which never happened.And try to close it by giving credit while there are plenty of better and cheaper fitness gyms in the city.I regret that I was there, not worth the investment and the money liars!!
Richard Boulier: Contacted this company for ICBC active rehab therapy for my partner, Juan which they advertise on their website. Made an appointment for consultation and they completely ignored the request for ICBC rehab therapy and tried to sell him personal trainer sessions. When we asked, the rep said they don't do ICBC. But it's advertised on their website... Contacted Kalev directly and no response. And to make it even more infuriating, Kalev Fitness would not respond to our messages but still sent us messages trying to sell personal training sessions. Very unprofessional company.

Deo Pabalan Boldo III: Kalev Fitness's 6 weeks challenge was the perfect motivation for me to lose my COVID-19 fats! I was a bit desperate to lose weight since I kept gaining pounds no matter how much I exercise, even if I'm doing Crossfit before. The way they structure their program was superb! Not only will they provide you with all the information you need, such as proper meal plans and customized workouts, but you will also meet excellent coaches and staff that will motivate you throughout the challenge. I would highly recommend my assigned Personal Trainer, Martin Weintritt. He really kept me moving forward with my challenge. He goes beyond what a regular PT does. He taught me how to do the right way of buying groceries (One of my main problems before, lol). He will reply to any of your enquiries and concerns with a positive and friendly attitude. Most importantly, he pushed me to be a better version of myself.If you're tired of exercising every day and not hitting your goals, I would highly suggest you try Kalev Fitness Solution. You would definitely feel welcomed and will not have any awkward feeling when you're working out. Peter Chun: Got paired with Sara and found out immediately she's not only badass but someone who knows what they're talking about. Her workouts and sessions are intense, and I find that I am motivated to ask her to push me more instead of staying at the easy level. Her energy motivates me to push further and makes me glad after every session we went all out. Currently doing the Strong Start Program and the Food Nutrition Coaching with Josee is 100% worth it! Nutrition and fitness go hand in hand and I'm glad that I'm doing it. If possible, I would 100% pay money to use the gyms full-time. Great Facilities.

Renée Chio: I did almost four months of partner training with Griselda Wang and all I can say is that I am extremely satisfied with her method and the results. On day one, she asked us what our fitness goals were and she devoted herself to make us achieve them— I am much fitter and stronger than before! In order to get the best results, she would always make sure form was correct which was the main reason I went looking for a personal trainer, so I could get the most out of working out at the gym. Every training session was intense and exhausting but I felt really good about myself afterwards. Thanks to the training techniques she taught us I now feel comfortable training on my own. I highly recommend her!
Gina Kim: I’ve completed 20+ personal training sessions with Josee and I saw big improvements (more muscles, toned and generally feeling less stressed). Josee has been very professional, building programs that are just right for me. She also gave me a lot of advice on nutrition and diet which was also helpful. If schedule changes on rare occasions, she was very fast in communicating it to me. Highly recommend personal training with her if anyone is looking for personalized fitness program.

control_alt_delete: I cancelled two of my sessions due to changes in my schedule and I was very specific about what dates I wanted cancelled. I was assured they were cancelled by Craig, but then received an email from the trainer saying see on you Wednesday. I called back to clear up the confusion and I found Craig to be rude and condescending when all i wanted to do was clarify and make sure I wasn't charged for something I had cancelled way in advance. Anyways, left a bad taste in my mouth. Also, I found a trainer that was much better for almost half the price. They will also try to get you to book more than you want to and oversell a bit too much.

Abby Pelaez: I completed the Abs and Glutes 12 week program this month and previously did their HIIT boot camp class in 2018-2019. They were very professional and had social distancing measures for the abs and glues class. The workout was the perfect balance of challenging and fun; i never felt bored and the hour always went by quick. I saw results with both programs, too and felt stronger and healthier after a week of each program. Ewa is a great trainer. The communication via email was good too, and they were able to respond quickly when i notified them about my schedule changes. Would highly recommend.

r goodlad: Recently I completed a 21 day Health Fitness challenge with Precision Athletics. The team was really knowledgeable and friendly. For the exercises, they offered thorough instruction and demonstration. The exercises were challenging, but not impossible, and well mixed so there was no monotony. To help with what to eat, several meal suggestions and planners were offered to make my life simple. The challenge was reinforced with lots of why’s, providing insight in how to be more healthy in future.I saw results and over all felt so much better in not only my appearance, my mood and my energy levels as well. I continue to remain off coffee, which no one who knows me would believe! I look forward to working with the great trainers at Precision Athletes again, and keep the positive results rolling!

While teaching me the techniques of a perfect pushup, pull-up, and squat, he also taught me how to live a holistic healthy lifestyle. Jesse not only helped me reach my fitness goals he exceeded them. After the wedding I decided to continue with Jesse because of how amazing I felt and I knew that he would make me accountable for my future goals which is what you need in a trainer. Arsalan Farro: I've been working out with Coach Jesse on a regular basis. I would say he is one the best trainers I have worked with so far. He explains and monitors the correct technique at each step of the workout along with explaining the rationale behind it. I've realized that even small adjustments towards better techniques helped me quite a bit to build more strength. He also provides a monitoring and tracking process of your progress through an App that you can download on your phone. I highly recommend him.

Claire Brown: When I first came to Elevate I was struggling physically, emotionally, and mentally after over a year a half of pandemic isolation and a difficult personal loss. Joining elevate was the best decision I could have made and brought me back to life in many ways. The team is professional, kind, and friendly and always met me where I was at. The results after one month are very noticeable; aside from the gains, I have been able to drop my 2km erg time by 20 seconds to 8:22.The coaches are superb and teach you what you want to learn/achieve in sessions. The staff are also very amiable. Scheduling and organization are great and hours are relatively flexible. Prices are a bit steep but well worth it for the results.Overall, a great place to workout and get fit.

Eric Lorenz: I’ve been a client here for more than 7 years and even as trainers come and go, the consistent quality of my sessions have stayed the same or improved over time. I came in looking to lose weight - achieved to the tune of 55 pounds lost over 5 months in 2017! - and have since been focused on building upper body muscle mass (my legs get plenty of work from cycling and running), increasing my back and shoulder strength, and to be honest, looking jacked. All the trainers I’ve had at IF along the way have helped push me to achieve my own goals whatever they’ve been plus have nudged me toward other practices that help me that I might not otherwise do (like core and stretching). I expect to stay with IF for years to come.

When I parted ways with my fitness coach (who gave me a lot of stress), I contacted David to help me out.It was just 3 weeks before the fitness competition, which was going to be the first time for me to enter.He kindly gave me 2 options.To save my costs, it’s not a good idea for me to bring him to the competition venue, but he can support me via video when I am at the backstage.The second option was to have my picture taken by a professional photographer so that I have the pictures forever!!He gave me the contact information for the photographer, and I emailed him. However, I could still not give up as I had devoted myself to enter the competition for the last 6 months.Then, I remembered that there is a female fitness instructor who I have read about her competition experience online in David’s Facebook friends. So, I contacted her saying I am a friend of David…and explained to her about my situation. She was also very helpful and kind, and introduced her coach to me immediately.Because of this new coach, I managed to compete in the competition! Mike Hillmer: I was introduced to Turnfit by David Turnbull who at the time convinced me to come in for an introductory session with him and Turnfit. The first session was wonderful as David asked me all sorts of questions including what I was hoping to get out of my workouts with them. This is one of the biggest benefits of Turnfit, they have a trainer to match every type of person and personality. Yolanda Zhang: He is very helpful, kind and encouraging. After training with him, I built some muscle on my lower back which has reduced my back pain. He also taught me how to work out on my way. Training with him are one of the best decision I have made. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to get better.

But with the training, my knee was strong enough to continue with my sports. As a medical professional, I would recommend him for those recovering from injury and even to decrease pain from chronic back and shoulder pain.
Betty Chan: Adam and I have been working to transform my bod from a typical skinny Asian chick to something a little more fierce and strong. I suffer from a lot of structural ailments and my posture has been a chronic issue. Adam has developed a personalized program that not only accommodates these issues, but also aims to strengthen and build other sexy parts of my body (like my lats, quads, abs and glutes). I am certainly motivated to go to the gym now because we touch base frequently through text messages and he is encouraging as I drag myself to train, to eat properly (bah!) and to get back on the horse when I falter, fail and start beating myself up. Getting fit and staying healthy is no small task! And training with Adam, I certainly feel like I am getting the most out of working out. I appreciate Adam's expertise in the area of physical health, his thorough understanding of nutrition and how it affects my training and goals. He was attentive to my goals in designing a program, constantly revising it based on identified strengths and weaknesses. Raymond especially is a knowledgeable and thoughtful trainer! Just a month and a half in and I've already almost completely recovered from a persistent and extremely mobility reducing shoulder injury and I'm well on my way to exceeding my pre-injury fitness level but with more manageable lifestyle changes that I'll be able to keep up with consistently.

Nicandro Calibud: Martin was able to help me loose approximately 20 lbs over 3 months of coaching. I learned of the importance of accounting for my calorific intake as is relates to my daily expenditures, and also the importance of the micronutrient profiles of the food I was eating. I also learned a great deal in terms of technique, when it comes to weight lifting. With a focus on proper form, correct preparation, and joint mobility I was able to make great advances in the weight room, and am able to really enjoy working out without injuries or undue strain. I decided to contact , Martin, my personal trainer from a number of years ago before I moved out of town. Well, we had a Zoom call and then Martin and Charlotte, working on-line with me immediately set me up with a program and approach that works for me. My body and I thank them all the time as doing activities no longer results in pain and soreness. Both Martin and Charlotte are knowledgeable and flexible in their approach with me, which I appreciate so much. We meet twice a week for 1/2 hour each on-line and , I must say, that it works very well if you, like me, cannot make it to the gym. It is an absolute pleasure to work with these two great people who are dedicated to helping us be the best that we want to be.

Jessica has been great at working with me to get me back up to running after an injury as well as working with weights to keep my muscle mass up as I age. Jessica keeps a keen eye on my form to ensure I am working the right muscle groups. Loving the dead lifts!
Miss Kay: My boyfriend and I have doubles sessions twice a week with two different trainers here. The amount of professionalism, knowledge and care for developing our healthier bodies has really impressed me. This place made us feel welcome, all staff comes and chats with you before and after the session. Rockland Ltd: Isabel, my Athletic Therapist at Innovative Fitness North Van has been instrumental in my post accident recovery. I have come a long way in a short period of time and all credit goes to Isabel. Each session is different so I don’t get bored and lose interest as I have in the past with other trainers. The facility is clean, new and I love that there’s aren’t a plethora of people whilst I am in my session. Working one on one with Isabel has been the best decision I made!
