They have a really great selection of jewelry options, only the highest quality things, if you are someone with allergies but want piercings this is the place for you. Charles is a master piercer with a eye for aesthetic, you can really trust him to know what will look good and he is really amazing if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for.I’ve read the reviews and most negative ones complain of the price, the price of the piercing services are 100% reasonable (especially considering Charles is an expert) so it seems to be the jewelry, they have cheaper and more expensive options but keep in mind the metal, stones, and gems, are all the highest quality meant to last a long time with little maintenance,So have a budget in mind when you book or shop and see what options are available to you, the staff will definitely help you find what works for you.I hope this helps and Im so excited to go back again!

Aathi Sharath: I recently got my septum piercing earlier this month, and although I was a bit scared, I had a strong desire to get it done. After searching on Google, I selected Arcane based on their amazing reviews. I was impressed with the cleanliness and selection of jewelry, and I must say that the procedure was quick. The pain was much less than I expected, and Charles is clearly an expert!As someone with sensitive skin, I was concerned that the healing process would take months. However, I am happy to say that it's been less than a month, and my piercing feels completely healed.

I’ve been into piercings for a large portion of my life and unfortunately when i was 18 and first started getting my cartilage pierced I didn’t know that proper studios that focus on piercings existed so I went to a tattoo shop and due to a series of things that shouldn’t have been done, I never managed to heal. Now that I’m in my mid twenties and those have closed over, I’ve gotten several new piercings at Arcane and their staff have always been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else.If you’re apprehensive about the cost, please please reconsider- I went with the cheaper options when I was younger and regretted it non stop. These people know what they’re doing; their premium materials and experience have made my healing a breeze- so worth it.Major shoutout to guest piercer Kelsi for an especially comfortable and informative experience.

Charles has done several piercings for me and I am so impressed with how well they've healed (I had no aftercare issues at all) and with the piercing placements too. Charles takes his time to ensure everything is to his and the client's standard. Good earring selection. Pricey, but well worth the quality. I can't wait to get more piercings done!

Robyn Edwards: I was extremely upset. I tried to put it back in myself but ended up having a panic attack. I found Arcane body arts on google and called to ask if someone could assist me with putting in my nose ring. Once I got there I started to look at their nose jewelry selection as I might as well get a new piercing if they are going to have to put it in anyway. The service was fantastic, the lady at the front helped me pick out the perfect one! They have a very nice selection of high quality jewelry and I found a double Diamond stud that I instantly fell in love with! After meeting with my piercer Charles he was very helpful with the entire process. Even though it had only been 2 days since my piercing came out, it was already partially grown over so he had to pretty much re-pierce it. I practically fainted and needed some time to regain myself before paying and leaving. During that time which was like at least 20 minutes, Charles stayed by my side and offered me candy to help get my sugar up and was very patient and calm during the whole situation (even updating me on my paleness haha

The awesome person helping me said they didn't need to re-pierce, that it could just be put in and the hole would open. They were right. The shop is also gorgeous with beautiful jewelry, and the rest of the staff are so friendly and sweet too!Posting some photos of directly after my appointments, so they can look a bit darker and intense to start, but they soften and look more defined after healing.10/10 recommend!

Anon: Used to be my go-to shop when they were located on Granville. I got my navel and double helix pierced by Eann (if I remember their name correctly). The navel piercing ended up being crooked, and I had to take it out, let it heal, and get it redone elsewhere. One of the helix piercings out of the double kept bugging me even after 3 years of having it, and I also could never get posts or rings through it without it becoming a bloody mess (mind you, I only attempted changing the jewelry out after 2.5 years).I finally went to a different shop to ask why. She told me it was pierced at an angle through my ear and that was why it kept not healing and also why I could never get any new jewelry through it. Took that one out too, now I'm getting it redone there. The top helix survived though, so I guess not all my money is wasted haha. I also went here a few months ago at the new location and the lady who helped me change out jewelry was extremely kind and patient. Hope I can muster up the courage to try this place out again if things have improved!
Soraya Patel-Crabtree: I got my second nose piercing with Ian and oh my gosh he is so lovely. Very knowledgeable about what my nose needed for the best result! Highly recommend.❤️Update on my nose piercing: unfortunately it hasn’t healed properly, I went to a local piercer in my area and they showed me that the angle of the piercing is not very good. It’s at an angle where it’s almost parallel with my septum:( I did try to contact this shop and ask them for some compensation bc it will never heal I need to take it out and get it repierced but they never got back to me. I messaged them on the messenger option on their page when you click their website. I’m definitely sad, I don’t want to take it out but it will keep being red and irritated if I don’t:(. I think this place is good if you live in the area and if something like this happened (sometimes it does and that’s okay) you can go back in and I’m sure they would see what they could do to fix it. I live in alberta and won’t be in their area anytime soon. So just please be aware if you are visiting Vancouver and want a piercing it may be better to go somewhere else.

Eann is super knowledgeable about piercings and the sanitization behind them, I love that they went through everything that I'd need to know about the piercing itself and the aftercare involved for it!! Wide ranges of jewelry are available for your liking (materials/styles/etc), and if ya can't find something ya like then the staff actively encourage you to let them know what you'd want and they can order it for you!! They also sell aftercare so saves ya the hassle of trying to find some to buy LOL Everyone there is super sweet and nice, made me feel incredibly welcomed there!! The studio itself is also very nice and very cute!!! Shout out to Naomi for replying to emails faster than the speed of light 😂 10/10 experience at Next!, I highly recommend!! Would and WILL go back again for future piercings/tattoos cause I love y'all so much!! 💛💛💛💛

Cam C: I went to The Fall this past April for a flash tattoo done by their artist Nicholas. I had seen the tattoo when he posted it on instagram and contacted him via email. In our email conversation, he always responded within a day or two and was very clear and accomodating during the booking process. The flash I had chosen would be going on my ribs and since it was larger then any of my previous tattoos, I was a little nervous going into the first session. Nicholas would always check-in with me during the session to see if I needed a break and was always very respectful and friendly with me. When he'd finished most of the tattoo I asked if I could come back for a second session since my skin was feeling pretty sore by that point. He was very understanding and the second session only took about an hour. Overall, I had a great experience with Nicholas and I'll definitely be going back to The Fall! :)Service:Tattoo design
Mid Bullet: I got a tattoo with the artist Nicholas Frenette and I had originally made a design and showed it to him, he took it to turn it into something that could work better as a tattoo. After, I asked him if he could do a little change with something I did not completely liked, he did but then he told me that it was going to be the ONLY change he was willing to do. I think is awful to not give the person the chance to decide exactly what is going to go into their bodies, so I ended up with a tattoo I did not completely liked cause the artist was not willing to make more changes. Now I’m going to get the laser removal. :/ Maybe the rest of the artists are good but I would NEVER recommend having an appointment with Nicholas Frenette.

Courtney Smith: I was visiting Vancouver from out of town and the ball fell out of my Medusa lip piercing. I looked up any piercing places nearby, figuring they would sell jewelry that would fit in the bar. I am so lucky to have come to The Fall first.Unfortunately, the bar I had wasn’t standard sized so the ones they sold didn’t work and I had to just get a new piece (bar and ball). The front desk lady (sorry I forgot your name, but the one with the black out sleeve) and also Chance the piercer were both 100% accommodating and really helped me solve my problem. They really took the time to help and I feel went the extra mile and gave me a truly wonderful experience even though I wasn’t getting a service done. Front counter human Amanda is the sweetest coolest chick you will ever meet and absolutely EXCELS at her job. My artist, Moi put his own touch on it and it turned out AMAZING, might just be my favourite tat yet. He did a great job, was quick and a great price. The desk chick called me back to change my appointment time to 5:30, I agreed. upon my arrival parking was a nightmare, I circled the block three times trying to find a spot which resulted in us being 9 mins late. This person at the desk informed me we were 12 minutes late and wouldn't be able to commit to the scheduled appointment and asked me to rebook. I explained that parking was difficult and also disputed the time obviously their clock is fast but she told me they only allow a ten minute allowance for lates and I was 12 mins late. so petty and ridiculous. she asked me to rebook and I said I didn't want to give them my business anymore. with that kind of customer service and the abundance of other tattoo shops in the lower mainland, good luckmy original appointment was 6 and you asked me to accommodate for you. I had to struggle to get there with parking and traffic and you showed no understanding or compassion. what does that say about your business? imagine if we did get a service from you guys and were dissatisfied? you would likely take no accountability and blame the customer. glad we dodged that bullet.

Going into it we had tons of anxiety, but the piercer, Jenny all made us feel comfortable. She explained everything, explained after care, and just overall eased our anxiety surrounding the piercings. Words cannot describe how amazing she is!!!!!!! In addition, adrenaline is amazing, super clean and super professional. I highly recommend this place for any piercings or tattoos!!!!

His concept flowed nicely into each design and meaning behind each concept was touching; 2 portraits of daughters , rose, script, family seed logo, horoscopes. Design for left sleeve was an East coast concept/ cover up. Ryan Darbon: I shopped around forever all over BC and Alberta trying to find an artist that wanted to work with me on creating a custom full sleeve tattoo. Most artists wanted me to choose images in their book or weren’t that communicative. A lot wanted me to live in the area as I am from the North part of BC. That is until I was matched with Dmitriy out of Chronic Ink Vancouver. Immediately we clicked and he worked countless hours working with me planning and designing a full sleeve tattoo. Every single time I went down to Vancouver was a complete pleasure working with him. He remained professional throughout the whole experience as it was 50.5 hours total for my tattoo.I could not recommend Dmitriy enough to anyone looking to have a fully custom tattoo that has the highest quality of work.The staff at Chronic Ink Vancouver was a pleasure to deal with as well as they were always friendly and welcoming into their shop. Brian “Bassman” Browne: In the last 5 years my wife and furry kid would visit their store when on Commercial and buy items and NEVER had an issue with our dog...she was always welcomed.We respect this policy but no sign at the entrance, and how we were welcomed and treated turned us off the brand...you lost a customer who is a proud East ender who as a musician wore your hats and hoodies with pride, I came in to restock, forget it!.

Rocco, the owner, set me up with a tattoo artist that he thought would best suit my artistic needs and he was right; I have had 4 more pieces done by that same artist.Not only is this my tattoo shop, but my hairdresser is on the bottom floor; Yumiko Hair. I've been going to her for about 4 years now. Always get a good cut and the price for hair colouring should be illegal for how cheap it is. Haha

The shop is very clean and the service is nice, informative, and very much a smooth running operation.The jewelry collection is decent - the jewelry is really quite nice and looks great on but it is incredibly overpriced for the quantity of gold/market value of the jewels. For the price I paid the backing of the jewelry should also have been real gold and much higher in karats than it was.I have an issue with the tipping percentage. When I went last year the tip percentage was on the price of my jewelry AND the service which was very weird and truly reflected the absurdity of tipping culture in North America.My jewelry was over $300 and the service itself was $50. I accidentally ended up paying quite a lot in tip because I got confused in the moment. Upon reflection I later realized how weird it was to have the price of the jewelry included in the tip percentage!It should only be on the price of the service and given that service was so high I think the option to tip itself should have been the first question on the payment system.

V W: My daughter wanted to get her first ear piercing as her 10 years old bday present. I was spending so much time trying to find the best piercing shop for my daughter. After reading all reviews and articles, and everything I can find online, I’m so lucky to find Ouro Piercing.They are so caring for offering kids under 10 to visit their store for once and introducing everything so the kid feels good and comfortable in their first piercing.Thor was doing the piercing for my daughter. I can’t stress enough how much we appreciate his service. He’s super kind, honest, caring and considerate. He explained everything slowly and clearly to make sure we understand well and feel comfortable in each process. It wouldn’t be so great without the help of Thor. Highly recommend for everyone to find Thor to get the piercing.Tina was very helpful in helping us to pick the earrings, also she explained everything very well.We met Fernanda on the piercing day. She’s very kind and sweet.They are such a great team!My daughter is still very excited for her first earring because the experience was really amazing! Milana Grozic: I went in hoping to get a navel piercing and even though my navel wasn’t suitable for the piercing it was an amazing experience. All of the staff were really nice and well trained. They explained why the piercing wouldn’t work rather than giving me something that would eventually come out. They also offered to do another piercing for me and even though I declined at the time I will definitely be going back if I do chose to get one. I highly recommend this studio!

Fiona Hui: My 5-year old daughter had her first earlobe piercings done here by Fernandez. She was extremely patient, caring and professional. I love how they offer 2 sessions to children, the first one involves consultation only and walking through all the steps with the child except the piercing and the second appt is the actual piercing appt. My daughter loved that as she did not feel pressured to get her ears pierced and she felt she was well taken care of! She even said to me at the end of the appt, this is the best place ever and Fernandez is so professional and kind!!!! :) thank you for making this experience so positive! Unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the woman at the front (she had curly hair) but she was so kind and was patient in showing me all my options! Thor did my piercing, and he walked me through all the steps to make me fee comfortable. They described the aftercare to me and the space is absolutely beautiful and clean. I barely felt a thing. Would definitely come back if only I didn’t live a province away!

Rick Struve: Was referred to Myles at this shop who really knocked it out of the park when I asked him to do a custom design for a tribal dragon for my first head-piece.After giving him some design examples to base his work upon, he came up with a design that was better than anything I had anticipated.Everyone at the shop ( which is very clean and bright ) was super professional. The session itself went off without a hitch.I need to deduct one star from an otherwise glowing review as this was unfortunately not the first shop I visited. I originally visited their sister shop Adrenaline Tattoos a block further down Granville.After conferring with an artist there, paying him a deposit and giving him the same artwork suggestions that I gave to Myles, the original artist decided to wait 2 weeks before informing me that he "didn't do custom work," which is the first time I've ever heard an artist say those words.After conferring with Dylan at Adrenaline, ( who I would assume is a manager there, who was extremely attentive to my questions and concerns the entire time ) he referred me to Myles at Sleight of Hand, who did a spectacular job of salvaging a very frustrating experience.The final result is the most important. Alyssa Davis: Went on a birthday trip to Vancouver and needed a smaller gauge for one of my piercings. We were directed here. Not sure of the gentleman's name that helped us but he was full of information! Very helpful and full of energy. Would recommend just stopping in and seeing what they have. Would recommend anyone to go for piercing advice. They also do custom jewelry and the gentleman that helped us also does custom work of his own!! 10/10.

I believe the man who checked me in was Daniel & he was super attentive and friendly. Adam was my piercer and he did a great job, very professional, and made sure I felt comfortable (I’m a wimp but it wasn’t painful at all). Lien DB: 1) They failed to inform me that they would be piercing my earlobe with a larger gauge size than necessary (I think 16G).The piercing experience itself was good and I know 16G isn't extremely out-of-the-ordinary. But it was a terrible going home wondering why it hurt more than my other piercings and panicking when I saw the gauge size worried that it would leave a bigger hole.I went back just to say that I would like to have known upfront (for one because it will take longer to heal), but they offered no apology and said that I should have gone to Claire's if I wanted a small piercing.2) When I asked about the material of the piercing, they conveniently forgot to mention that their "14K gold" earrings have a metal back. I discovered it the next day.In summary ... Please correctly inform your customers. That's all.

Annie E: Would give no stars if I could.A month ago I got a double helix done and the gem was too small as the jewelry kept slipping in and out of the hole and I lost the second helix piercing as a result. This double piercing cost me over $300.I came back today to discuss what gem can I change my remaining piercing too because I didn’t want to lose it and throw $300 down the drain.I have to say I was poorly greeted/help by Adam I believe his name is, the head piercer.Desperate to salvage my last piercing, I was about to buy a new, bigger jewelry to stop the piercing from slipping but asked them if there’s anything they could do given that the gem was too small and I already spent money on two piercings and I’m currently left with one. Adam told me that it was just the nature of things. He said he’s lost many piercings that way and if I had bought some Vans shoes and went out and lost one shoe, I wouldn’t go back to the store asking for a replacement (weird analogy as this isn’t the same thing at all).Basically a way to tell me that’s it’s too bad and won’t do anything to help.Anyway. I decided against giving you guys business after that terrible interaction and I’m glad I didn’t cause I walked down the street, where I was helped by kind, empathetic pierciers who advised me well, found me a new gem AND gave me a huge discount for an issue they didn’t even cause.I was going to book a tattoo at that shop but after that last experience I’ll save my money for another shop.
Caitlyn Hides: Was tattooed by Kellan recently and he is beyond professional! Everything was clean and organized, I sat for a few hours and he made sure I was comfortable. His work turned out amazing and healed up so nicely. His script work is out of this world.

We waited for almost two hours after our scheduled appointment time to start the tattoo process. The tattoo artist was very helpful in helping with the design process and the overall tattoos came out great. We were scheduled 12pm-4pm and we arrived at 11:40am to fill out our paperwork and be ready to start at 12pm for our scheduled appointment time, the tattoo artist didn't arrive till 1:30pm and we didn't leave the tattoo shop till 6:20pm.
