Sue Jutson: This little gym is an absolute gem. They are 100% client focussed. Peter was my trainer and he listened to my goals and then supported me to achieve them. I had a couple of health issues which needed attention and were magically resolved within a few weeks. Then the regular sessions became all about improving and maintaining general well being. I never missed a session (except when I was out of town) because I always felt better when I left - no matter what state of mind I had arrived in.I had tried a couple of gyms; my physiotherapist told me the body needs some strength building (after a certain age :) but it was never something I enjoyed so my visits never lasted.That was until I went to Le Physique one year ago. My consistency for turning up to every appointment is a direct result of the caliber of the trainer assigned to me. Yoga has been my go to for 25 years, and the transition to this gym was easy. Peter is knowledgeable, encouraging, a natural teacher, and deeply intuitive. If you are looking for a supportive, safe, quiet place to improve your over all well being, definitely try this magical space.

Frances Andrew: I have been training at La Physique Health and Fitness with Peter for just over 6 months now and I have loved every second of it. I never enjoyed exercising before I started going to this gym, but with Peter's training, I now feel confident and strong. Even when the workout is hard and I'm tired, I want to persevere, rather than give up.Additionally, one of the selling points of this gym is the way that it is set out. The gym is partitioned, so that when working out, you are out of the public eye (and anyone else working in the gym). For someone who is self-conscious, this was a massive help in allowing me to relax and feel safe while working out.

After being treated in four clinics in the neighbourhood, I consider Le Physique the best clinic overall.Staff is super friendly, helpful and competent. I was treated mostly by the Kinesiologists Juancho and Gillian, but Nicole and Emmanuel kindly stepped in when I needed. They are all super knowledgeable and great people to be around and treated by. Estela: I started going to LePhysique in 2019 to recover from a car accident. Since the beginning, I was really impressed with the facility, staff (including Shadow), and the amazing location. Every detail is carefully thought to provide a good customer experience. My Kinesiologist, Gillian, is amazing. She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I also had the opportunity to be treated a couple of times by Nicole and Juancho, and both are amazing too. The facility is well equipped, comfortable, and clean. Chalaine: I originally saw Nicole to get myself back into a fitness routine after living quite a sedentary life. She’s been a wealth of knowledge in working with my body type to reach my body goals. Three years later, I’m still seeing her for new fitness targets like strengthening my body for better performance when I cycle and she’s taught me proper posture to prevent injuries. It feels like meeting up with a friend every time I train with her. Time goes by fast and I get a great workout out of it.

Autism BC: Nicole provided our team with a five-week health challenge. Some of us were skeptical – we did not want to have a fitness challenge to judge others in the office. We were wrong. Nicole joined our staff meeting and let us know that it isn't all about fitness; it is about being healthier mentally, physically, and emotionally. Nicole listened to what we wanted and developed a weekly challenge to fit the group's needs and wishes. It was such a great way to connect with co-workers and share recipes, local hikes, and talk about things outside of work. It brought the team together during this pandemic plus kept us active. We would recommend trying out a weekly health challenge for your work team or friend group.
Stano Zuzic: During this pandemic lockdown, Nicole was able to reignite my desire for home workouts and build a routine around it. Always helpful and proactive - I like that - I just mentioned something during our check in video call and all of the sudden I had an email with an explanation what to do to help me out. Highly recommend as I feel great and having a sixpack is quite a nice benefit ;)

Historia Lee: I've been getting chiropractic services for years and it was my first time getting physio therapy, so I decided to go to this place.They have horrible customer service, very bad attitude and didnt aware me on how much was going to be charged on my credit card..They also didn't mention about cancellation fees so I had to call an ask if I could cancel, because I was so sick, but they just said it was noted on the contract sheet that I signed and that I needed to pay full amount of the session even if I wanted to cancel it.I just decided to not go to that place anymore and I cancelled all the future appointments I had with them.. I wasn't asking for money back, but maybe next time the recepetions could talk with little bit of generosity for long lasting customers.Definitely not a place to go for if your looking for a friendly-family vibe..I just felt like I was money to them, not a person that they actually cared for, which is something they should be starting to do now :)

Natalie: I first tried Form Body Lab over 2 years ago and it's become my #1 choice workout destination in Yaletown. The staff and instructors here are incredible. It is the place to go to if you are rehabbing, trying to get in shape, trying to get stronger or all of the above. There is a variety of classes from private pilates, to reformer classes, mat pilates, and more. The studio is also beautiful!

Just incredibly qualified and talented practitioners. Having physio onsite is a distinct advantage. I've been working with Jane Osborne for about seven months and am astounded at the improvements we've achieved. I am stronger and more aligned, my posture and balance have improved dramatically, and I feel strong and confident. Fewer aches and pains. It's easy to give this place a try.

It's a pleasure to train here, no matter the class or the instructor - and I worked with almost all of them. Also, there's some flexibility in booking the classes which for a mother of two is highly appreciated. Thanks so much for not taking the business into the too commercial approach:). Pilates should stay first of all quality, mindful movement!

I take two classes a week and my flexibility, mobility and strength continue to improve each week. My posture, strength, and overall wellbeing have improved so much just from completing the Fundamentals course with Elsa. I also took a class with Olga and loved it. I'm really happy with the instruction and personalized corrections I get - it feels like 1:1 attention even in the group classes, and I like knowing I'm actually getting the full benefits of the class. This is the only time I have ever not dreaded exercise and actually enjoyed it!!

M P: Marlene is a truly committed and enthusiastic instructor. I have always been apprehensive about body work such as pilates due to an extensive spinal fusion from scoliosis surgery, plus neurological difficulties, but Marlene does extensive homework to help her clients as best as she can. Through modifications to classic pilates exercises and honing in on specific muscles, not only have I felt improvement in my strength but my day to day movements too. I have been taking regular private classes with her for a couple of months now and plan on continuing for as long as I can!

SAFFRON HENDERSON: I’ve had pain and nerve changes from upper body injury, as well as neuropathy in my feet from 43 yes of Type 1 diabetes. After a few customized sessions I noticed I can feelmy feet!!! I can roll through them as I walk, feelfeel the ground, feel them in my shoes. For over 24 hrs afterward they’re no longer numb, painful blobs. The instructors have been helping me reset my feet and spine and get circulation to them. Very grateful and excited about this healing.

GG S.: This studio is very unprofessional. How they treat people and time is very inconsiderate.My experience is about their hiring process and how they treat their prospective employers. DON’T APPLY HERE!They have wasted so much of my time telling me I was hired and that I would be a great fit and that they were working on my schedule. Not only they didn’t get in touch once I got a hold of them they told me they are training someone else and hoping to get me on board soon. At this point I have wasted 2 weeks of unemployment. Later they told me they need to try and see if the new person that works there is a good fit if not maybe then I can start. The next day they told me I can start with part time hrs and they called me with availability of 17hrs and when I asked if there is a chance of full time hrs I was told I might not be a good fit. This is highly unprofessional and very inconsiderate.Please respect more of peoples livelihoods.

And yes, we phoned her before hand that it was our first time. She told us to arrive 10 minutes earlier to sign the waiver. Sadly my friend had to leave as she didn’t want to pay $35 for a class and I paid $35 as it was my only time of the day to workout.

Emilien MAUREL: The studio is good but all the value gets Added by a handful of instructors that you have to choose carefully. Arda is definitely the best instructor. He is really involved in the classes making sure your posture is right when doing the movements. Some other instructors don’t really care if you’re doing the movement properly or not which defeats the purpose of doing Pilates imo

After of lifetime of high participation in multiple sports such as swimming, skiing, golfing, scuba diving & hot flow yoga, I was just able to get through my basic activities of daily living. Walking eight blocks was a stretch & picking up my little grandchildren was out of the question. Stevie Charlie: Ive signed up the free intro to try it out. The instructor is okay and the place is neat although its actually very small. After the intro class, the manager and the receptionist were trying to sell to us different packages. They tried the hard sell on us. Its actually quite awkward. The receptionist became very impatient and not very nice to those who didnt join their packages. im very surprised to see this kind of attitude. He is very unprofessional. i understand they have to make money, but at least should do it the professional way.i actually never wrote any bad comment on Google before. but I feel that I should this time as I just dont hope other ladies to be treated like that.
Sibéal Doherty: Club Pilates Kits is a welcoming, vibrant and clean studio. It has quickly become my favorite place to work out. All of the staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Instructors regularly check in and the admin team greet you by name. The classes are a seamless blend of flexibility, mindfulness and a whole body workout. No two classes are ever the same!
Penelope Peake: I joined CP just over 2 weeks ago and have worked out there every single day since. The studio is beautifully cared for and the people super friendly. I am already feeling much stronger and am experiencing way less aches and pains throughout my body, and am, most definitely, more confident in the way I walk in the world. The instructors are very well trained and educated in their field and are always able to answer any questions with regard to injuries etc. I feel like this is an extremely safe environment to work out in and would recommend Club Pilates to anyone looking for a sustainable way of keeping healthy.
