JunadiJuna: I went in to purchase a hose for a a/c I purchased. I took a photo of the hose with a tape measure across it. I looked everywhere, then a store employee (Wing) came up to me and said Are you finding what you are looking for? I say I t h i n k soooo. I show him the photo and he tells me about the a/c I purchased, and that there are more parts missing than I realize. After saying this, he shows me how to improvise and what will work. Shows me how to connect it all too! A whole instruction class right there!!!I got home, and followed his instructions and WOW I am living in coolness thanks to Wing!
Eugenia Lozovoy: Saw the totally ripped bag of cement. Asked for discount, was refused , called for a manager and after a long-long discussion was given 30% discount.Usually in Home Depot or other home stores at least 50% off the retail price goes without saying for a ripped packaging.Different code of conduct? Was vey disappointed at the store.

Gordie Greer: This has been the worst customer service experience ever. I wanted two chairs, that they said they had in stock. Had to wait 45 minutes, then they suddenly could only find one. Then they said they’d ship the other. They brought us to the till, and it took them 30 minutes to figure out how to do what they said, then I just left. These guys are awful, I will never go back.

Wayne Essar: I drove 40 minutes from a city nearby to purchase 4 Fiskars harvesting knives.The inventory online showed 11 items in stock.Three staff members looked faithfully.On my second visit to customer service a young person with a badge reading "Trainee" solved this 1 (one) hour riddle in 45 seconds by saying "none had been sold in the last two months so the inventory number was incorrect" Thank you! to "Trainee" but why was no one else able to access that information.Not wishing to waste a trip, I bought a couple of 3.8 cubic foot peat moss bails.The kind cashier called three times for loading help in fifteen minutes and then saw a person and approached them personally to help. They did not wish to but another person was found.Thank you to the self serve cashier for her hard work on my behalf.
Sunny: Waste of time driving here.Really awkward and uncomfortable customer service- all three people I spoke to managed to be rude, dismissive or clueless (or all three) and then argued among themselves. I left without what I came for and won’t be going back.

Three staff around me we "busy" organizing the shelfs. Save your time and go to Home Depot. Got instant service here and was in and out in 5 minutes. No wonder there were no customers in Lowes.
ET: Slow, clueless and unprofessional.Good luck trying to find a staff in customer service. if you do, most staff seem to operate at 0.5x speed.The staff also kept speaking Hindi in front of a caucasian customer and was making fun of her returning a 2 dollar product and the way she dressed.At the self-checkout, the staff seem more interested to play with her phone than to actually help customer out.
D Y: Average home improvement super store. There's never enough staff when you need to ask a question, and for the inexperienced, it's hard to find items in such a big place. The prices are okay, but not the best.
gino Nahorniak: I was in the store today asking about the Portable Air Conditioner. I ask 1 of the employees walking by if the Air Conditioners were in, and he said there not in yet. I turned around and there were 30 units on the floor right behind us. Not cool. Then I ask the ladies behind the counter if anyone could help me. No 1 showed up. 1 of the employees walked by, but he tried to help. Didn't know much about them. He could tell me the price. You guys have to get the managers out on the floor to help people out. Not in the back taking stock. Sad

Selena L: So I kind of love this outlet. I mean the deals aren't the same as in the states, but it's pretty much like shopping at a mall, but outside, and there are deals. A kind of European looking feel and actually there is a small kid playground hidden in the corner. So if you're coming with kids, there's a great place for kids to play that is covered. There are food options as well and it's a pretty good place to spend a day if you're planning to shop anyways and it's good weather.
Bernie: McArthurGlen Designer Outlet has about 80 designer retailers located near the Vancouver Airport and can be reached via Skytrain. It's also interesting for you to know that trips between Templeton station (location of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet) and YVR-Airport station are free.The mall directory is at the main entrance. The stores carry varieties of products like clothes, shoes, bags, pieces of jewelry, make-up, chocolates, etc (high-end to average brands) are here. Most stores are competitive in giving big discounts and special deals. This long weekend (the Victoria Day) stores give good deals and discounts from 20% up to 60%. There are food restaurants, café, and coffee shops. There are two food trucks 1) Praguery cakes & ice-cream and 2) Nukkad Street Eats, both are located before the entrance of the mall facing the parking area.Since it’s not a covered mall, I loved shopping, especially every Spring and Summer. It’s wonderful to enjoy the sunshine for a casual stroll/shopping. Everyone is comfortable in shorts/summer clothes. It has a light festive ambiance, shoppers are everywhere, and kids playing and enjoy dancing at the fountain. There are kids play area near the OshKosh/Carter’s and Lindt Stores. Truly it’s great fun in this mall.The best designer outlet of good quality products loaded with deals and good discounts. The washrooms are clean and well-maintained. There are charging stations for electric vehicles. Parking is spacious and free.

Bryson Worden: As someone not very "fashionable", this little outlet mall was a nice excursion for my family and I. Just be prepared for some sticker shock as you won't find a Walmart or Payless here, in favour of designer or high end commercial brands of clothing. However, the promenade and atmosphere are unique and inviting, leading to a memorable experience for those in the area to enjoy!

It is an outdoor outlet, but most stores if not all stores, allow you to bring in your dog.There is a large free parking lot. There’s also a good amount of food options at the outlet.

Shahin Imtiaz: Here you can purchase all your hardware needs such as nails, drill supplies all other building supplies in bulk or individually. I went to buy nuts and bolts for the project I was working on. I researched many other places but was not able to find to suitable place for many reasons because those store sold these items with other items which are not useful so I recommend if you are in need if any building supplies please go there.

I got a quote quickly over email, paid with a pre-authorization form with no hassle and the team was responsive and communicated well. The price was reasonable and the team delivered on the day I requested right down into my apartment. When people call and ask if you have material, have your employees call the yard to make sure you have it. Or better yet, update your inventory system so it doesn’t show material in the computer that you don’t have in the yard. What a waste of my time.

Alex Burry: Edit: The fact this company takes the time to reply with a paragraph on google where everyone sees but can’t be bothered to send a one line text saying in the first place saying “sorry we are all booked up” when no one is watching says a lot about their transparency.Don’t bother contacting this company..... I have messaged them as their website says with pictures of the damages we need repaired from a moving companies mishaps. They have read receipts on so I know they have seen it all my messages and no reply since July 20th.... waste of time trying to get this company to do a job for you.

The end result was perfection.My second experience was the painting of my living room walls. Stavros arrived with two experienced painters. He repaired a wall and left detailed instructions for the painters who completed the job neatly and efficiently. It was apparent that they took pride in doing a good job.
James Strilesky: We had several areas of drywall repair due to settling and a water damage incident and Stavros, the Drywall Repairman did an outstanding job of not only the repairs but of being on time and of being as careful, clean and neat as possible in our home which was greatly appreciated. He will be the first person I call if we need any more repairs in the future.

Helen R: I just want to say that I experienced exceptional service at the Home Depot, Terminal Ave., Vancouver today. When I asked for directions, I was taken to the place where the plants were, and Olive, bless her heart, she actually loaded in my topsoil for me. Everyone was in a very customer service oriented mood, and it was a real pleasure to shop there. The choices of plants were abundant and they were all good quality. However, the prices have gone up quite substantially since last summer. It is still my “go to” place for home gardening materials.

Tara Chic: Great service but wait times a bit long. Had a simple request for sizing a price of wood. Waited 4 days for my reply when ready. Waited again at customer service. Out of my area to shop to begin with but was hoping for a quicker completion being in that area a few day. Went in my only day off to avoid traffic. Parking is good. Plenty parking.

They were very responsive and reasonable on price and were able to deliver the larger products I could not pick up myself.The owner Thane and manager Marlon are both very approachable and on hand to help along with the friendly staff.

Michael Silmont: Front line staff are boosting prices without reason. I can no longer recommend Windsor Plywood Vancouver based on my last three visits which all resulted in being overcharged.A 6 inch post cap they sold me for $22. It sounded wrong( super high) so I questioned all three counter staff at the time and they all shook their head that 22 was the price, so I bought it anyways. I then visited three other stores afterward and found the identical cedar cap for $5.95. So the staff decided to boost the price by over 375% from the normal price. When I returned to get a refund and speak to the manager he confirmed that their price is $5.75..so why was I charged and confirmed by the counter staff that their price was $22 . A prior visit I bought a 8ft cedar post for $60. When I called back to ask for more the next few days they said the price is $70. When I checked with other local lumber stores, their price is $50. Their prices are all over the place based on what the counter staff seem to want to charge you and no longer consider them a trusted resource after 20 years of going there.
