Dustin Ogilvie: As a new business owner my goal was to establish credability with the marketplace. After about a year of operating with posative google business reviews BBB approached me. I wasn't sure what to expect from the accreditation of BBB, but i knew that using the logo would bring credability to my business. After being vetted thouroughly by the BBB and paying the required dues i was set up on their website. BBB has provided more business leads then any other advertising method I have tried since starting my new business. All the leads i receive are high quality serious customers not price fishers. Very pleased with the services provided by BBB.

I exchanged couple emails with them but never received any help at all. And they closed the complaint I had filed. Thank you reviewers for all your reviews. Clearly BBB was a total waste of my time, I am surprised such organizations operate in 2022. What a shame ! 👎
Mikau Seafox: No matter how many complaints you send in to BBB, they absolutely will not help resolve anything for you. They'd sooner turn a blind eye to you losing money to someone or a business than they would lift a finger to do anything even remotely helpful.Getting harassed by collections? Want to stop their endless phone calls to you? They'll sleep on that, too.The BBB is a complete waste of your time. Don't bother with them.

Sara Naamani: I recently sent a message to the Better Business Bureau in order to seek help for something that I was wrongfully put in collections for. It is now removed from both Equifax and Trans Union and it took less than a month to get it done ,super helpful!! I understand some people expect more from them but they are not lawyers. If you don’t have the proper proof and information, they can’t work a miracle but I can say they will do whatever they can to the best of their ability to help and rectify the situation with the information you provide ! Thank you for the help.
Diana C: Better Business is useless. They are there to collect membership fees and protect their members. The company I hired to do renos did an absurdly horrible job and left damage to our home. I had photos, emails, a professional report, etc and they sided with the company anyhow. I was told that the business and I had different perspectives. Yet we weren't arguing over a perspective. We were arguing over correcting a botched job. The company assigned inexperienced workers to do the job which resulted in not only poor workmanship but also lack of care and negligence to my property. I paid for a professional report to note all the deficiencies room by room with photos. This report was submitted to the Better Business as evidence. This company I made a claim against has several court cases against them listed with the Provincial Court for exactly the same issues I had. Yet, the Better Business Bureau has the company at an A+ rating. Do not rely on their ratings!Update: FYI, I just won a 27K judgement against the company from the BC Provincial Court.EDiT: I followed up with BBB 2x as per their response bellow. No call back. Don't be fooled by their response. They don't want to start an investigation. Their comment was just for show.
Stephen Hahn: Very negative and unsatisfying experience. I wonder why the BBB exists, they’re not able to determine wether statements made by either side are true or false, they’re not able to make decisions related to evidence submitted, and they’re not able to direct the communication in the direction for a resolution. All they can do is exchange information between the consumer and the company. I thought they were in place to represent the consumer involved in a negative retail experience, but after going through the process I find out that this is not the case. I was subjected to having my character and good name attacked with false and unfounded accusations by the company I was complaining about. I will never use the BBB in the future, what a waste of my time and energy.
Lorien: Completely unhelpful, and a waste of your time. I have contacted the BBB twice now regarding a legitimate complaint against a moving and storage company located in Kelowna. In both instances their attitude has been unhelpful and uncaring and supportive of the business, not the consumer. I would not contact them again.

Shellie McEachern: I do not support the BBB because they charge companies to be members. If you do not pay the annual fee you cannot be listed on the site, so it is not really an accurate review of businesses in your area. In addition your rating is partly based on how many years you have paid the fee.
OPERATOR PANTHER: They are good! We need them to mandate businesses and make sure everyone follows the rules and legalities of owning a business. It also helps the consumers get better service.

Andrea Chestnutt: The Cambridge Pinebush location made an error with an online rewards purchase. They tried to lie to cover up their error and then got caught in their lie, at which point the manager became rude and indifferent. Since this happened I have tried many ways to reach out to BB Canada only to be completely ignored. It's obvious they don't care about their consumers.
Anthony Mastracci: Ordered a TV online. Got an email that said it would come Friday. Took the day off. On Thursday night I get a call that the TV is coming Sat. Lost one days of work. Saturday it came. It's the wrong TV. Call for help. Beatbuy can't get hold of the carriers. Supposed to call me back never did. Called back Sunday and the notes they put on my file. But no one knows what's going on. Best buy says the carrier would call me for a swap. Apparently another person got my TV. I got theirs. My question was why would I swap the TV. I bought a brand new TV from you. I want a brand new TV. I call best buy and they same the same thing about the swap. Wow. I had to demand to get a new TV. Supposed to get a call on Tuesday. Never do. I call. I demand some sort of compensation. They say the carriers take care of the delivery fee. Why am I the customer calling best buy so much and now the carriers. Other company's one call and take care of everything for you. Called last night. Supposed to get an email back. Never do. Called today. No one knows anything about my case. It went to HQ. But haven't heard anything. So I got a refund today. Still have someone else TV in my hallways. Wow. Gets service bestbuy. You guys cost me a days work. Then bring me the wrong TV. Have to waste calling you and the carriers everyday and no one from HQ can call me to figure this out. Thanks for nothing

C. B.: Was sent the wrong product on April 29, 2023 by delivery truck. It is 8 days later, & despite online chat, telephone, a bizarre requirement to provide photographic proof of the wrong item, labels and invoice (which they had access to themselves), & many emails (1.5 hours+ of my unpaid time), staff are unable to perform 2 simple tasks: send a return label for the delivery truck to come & get the item & send out the correct product. They are stuck in an "investigation" that could take up to 15 days. This is why Best Buy loses clients to Amazon, who could have resolved this issue in 5 minutes. I will never purchase from Best Buy again. Unacceptable.
Barbara Sidorowicz: Can I give less than one star? Best Buy is refusing to honor the Quebec electronics legal warranty on a computer purchased from them in December 2021. The store in Lasalle was beyond rude and uncaring, telling my son to get a lawyer!! Best Buy even has a snippet of the legal warranty on their site. They refused to read it, or the legal warranty on the Quebec website. Never, ever do business with Best Buy. NEVER. He has now been waiting for a call back from one of the stores (since Saturday), to see if another store will take his computer... WHY is it up to the individual store to make this decision? IT IS THE LAW. Is Best Buy above the law? Zero customer service. Disgusting treatment. My son spent 2000$ on this computer. Don't buy from Best Buy. Ever.
Clifford: Damaged my place and my appliances when they finally delivered my appliance, huge hassles, no follow up despite calling six times and really terrible call centres that don’t communicate. Asked for three managers and never got a call back. With so many other superior options in Canada that will deliver I will likely never purchase anything from here again. Johnny Hope: I’m very disappointed with this company! Brought my laptop in because the USB ports weren’t working after a windows 10 update. Got my computer back. Ports were working but they messed up the keyboard. Also all my data was downloaded to Best Buy’s computer and several of my pictures were used for fake adds. Also I canceled my geek squad subscription after a year and I was continually billed. I’ve complained to corporate office but I’ve been given the run around now for over 2 years and I’m still fighting them!Time for a class action lawsuit!If you have had similar problems contact me threw this post!I will never deal with Best Buy ever again and I will tell everyone not to shop at Best Buy! LJ Crow Chief: So this happened yesterday and I'm so upset 😡 Roast to Bestbuy I went to purchase a laptop last week they didn't have what I wanted in stock so the sales person ordered it for me and had it shipped to the store. I go and pick up the laptop yesterday, I get in my truck and looked at the box and noticed it wasn't what I originally ordered , I go back in letting the guy know at customer service. That it was not what I ordered, costing me $1400. The guy looks at it opens the box and says oh we can't take it back or exchange I said why, he said because that laptop is only worth about 400 and the one you ordered is 1400. I said exactly I want what I ordered I'm not asking for my money back. They refused to take the laptop back they ordered and gave me, so I'm out $1000
Paula: I will NEVER shop at this store again!My daughter ordered a Apple MacBook air 13.6" on their website.She placed the order on March 29, 2023 using her grandfather's AMEX (with permission). It got cancelled because the billing address was incorrect. She called customer service and corrected the address. In the meantime, her grandfather called AMEX to confirm that the card details were correct and they assured him there was nothing wrong with his card. Best Buy actually charged his AMEX a series of $2.00 charges!The order was placed again on March 31; and on April 2, my daughter received another email cancelling the order!Best Buy's security system screens for potential fraud and that reassuring. However, this is not the way you treat a customer!I contacted head office to let them know what occured. They didn't even have the courtesy of acknowledging or answering my email. Another reason to shop elsewhere. It is clear Best Buy does not value their customers.We will definitely tell family and friends about this experience and will purchase the computer from a reputable company that will appreciate our business.

Kayleigh Cadenhead: Long review, but here it is. I purchased a washer dryer combo from the Cambridge location summer of 2021. The day it was delivered to my home the people delivering it dropped my dryer on its side. Not a huge issue, but there was a dent and as soon as we turned it on the noise it made was terrible. My husband immediately contacted the best buy customer service and was told this was an issue for the warranty and he needed to contact the manufacturer. He contacted LG and began the process of getting repairs. The problem is, that this is not actually a warranty issue, as it was within the first 30 days of purchase. Turns out the person assisting my husband the day it was delivered made a mistake when telling him the next steps. At the time we weren't told it was still able to be returned or exchanged for a new one, we could have even refused to sign for it at delivery. We did not realize until 2 months of fighting for repairs with LG that the person who my husband first spoke to from Best Buy originally was wrong, and that this was not something for us to take care of with warranty, but was actually Best Buys responsibility to replace it for us. Best Buy acknowledge that this was their mistake, however, as it has NOW been more than 30 days they were unable to give us a new dryer...even though it was completely their oversight. The reason they gave is that they did not have a new dryer they could give us, and needed permission from the manufacturer to offer us a free replacement dryer. After dozens of phone calls, and being told for 5 MONTHS that a supervisor was working on our issue (they never called us once, even after I requested them to several times) I was forced to give up on this situation when my father in law passed away, as this stress was too much to handle at the time. The end result...we have never been follow up with even once, never offered any kind of compensation for the months long delay or the damage on our dryer. I now have a dryer that is so loud and damaged I won't be surprised if I need to buy a new one within the year.Really horrible experience, and even though most people were pleasant to deal with, the lack of responsibility and accountability from Best Buy is unacceptable, lack of communication and compensation of any kind are extremely disappointing...head office was no help and I would caution anyone against purchasing a big ticket item, they will leave you holding the bag when they damage something!Having something go wrong is not the end of the world, but the sheer lack of care, empathy, responsibility and accountability are staggering. As a retail manager I am very disappointed in Best Buy at every level, good companies take responsibility for their actions and accept the consequences, not expect their clients to live with it. 5 months of calling and emailing to no avail is unacceptable. Let's see if anyone reaches out to try and make this right, will update review if that ever happens.

We bought the best extended warranty on the TV (Waste Money)Since then in April of 2022 they sent A1tec out to change the motherboard which they did on site . In Oct/22 the Tv was intermittently shutting off again and to turn on you had to push the on button on the TV.I filed a claim for another repair . It is Now February 1/23 and apparently A1Tec can't find anything wrong with it it took almost 90 days to figure it out and I have escalated the claim many times to no avail.I am waiting for my Tv to be returned , so I can pay an independent repair shop to get a second opinion. Then submit for consideration. Never Buy From Best Buy ! They have call centers acting on there behalf fielding calls !
Cameron Hatfull: I purchased an espresso machine for $959 on Dec.22/22. The machine didn’t show up on its expected delivery date of Jan.3/23. I had to have them start an “Investigation” into why the machine hasn’t shown up yet.Weeks go by and it’s now Jan.26/23. I’ve talked to them 4 times in the month it hasn’t been shipped. Been told to wait another two days. Then another two to five days. Over a month since the purchase date. I received an email from them today (Jan.26/23) saying they’ve refunded my purchase. No explanation as to why. I call them and they say the machine has vanished, not sure where it went.I then had to re purchase the machine today (Jan.26/23) and reach out to them once again for this. I wouldn’t have if the Boxing Day deal wasn’t over.No wonder why they are shutting down 15 locations and laying off 700 workers. A management capitalist failure, which makes 700 workers lose their jobs. Way to go Best Buy.This is my last purchase from your company after being a customer for 30+ years, since you were Future Shop.
jena deen: I purchased a Chromebook on November 25th, 2021 with a 2 year protection replacement plan from Best Buy.Today (December 30th, 2022), just 1 year later, I took my chromebook into the local Best Buy store and wanted my device replaced with protection plan.They refused replacement, despite the website saying and my reciept saying quote, "Product stopped working? We'll replace it with a Gift Card for the original value with 2Years of coverage for $74.99."The details of the product protection offered by best buy are not made clear to the consumer. When you click on the details link you are left to search through several links and details are not presented clearly to customers upon online purchases or explained by managers in the store. Today the employees of Best Buy forced me to hand over my chromebook to Geek Squad despite my not wanting Geek Squad help or allowing me to use the 2 year product replacement plan I paid for.Will be filing a consumer complaint with consumer protections Ontario with regards to the way Best Buy misleads customers about their protection replacement warranty as well as the consumer rights when refused to uphold a warranty which Best Buy consumers have rightfully paid for.

Dave Weaver: Had a great first visit to Indochino. Was very well taken care of, can’t wait to see the fit and the results.
arthur andrews: Nice suit but way over priced. All suits come from a factory in China. Suit was “custom” but when it came, was way too small. Took to local seamstress and she said everyone who brings and indochino suit is either way to big, or tiny. Find a local suit company and avoid buying from China.

Daniel Alphonso: Excellent service! Makka fit me very well. My pants were a little tight at the waist when they arrived but I took them in and got them altered in 30 mins. Did not expect that!
Justin Wong: I heard great things about Indochino, but after receiving my 2 suits my experience has been anything but good. The knitting and fit wasn’t done well on my arms, the waist is too tight, and the material overall wasn’t satisfying. When I did the fitting, the staff claimed they have their own shop in China but it seems like it was outsourced to a 3rd party as all my requests didn’t turn out the way I expected it to.

Eric Schibli: I ordered a suit from Indochino and I was satisfied with the quality and fit, eventually. It arrived nowhere near the correct measurements, and required a full remake - which arrived deeply creased. It took me over a month to get any customer support, but eventually, they had it pressed for me. Good thing I wasn't in a rush, because it took me over three months to get a wearable suit, but It looked good and felt comfortable. I don't wear suits often, so I didn't have any issues with it. However, when I decided to order three pairs of trousers for work, that was another story, as, as they completely failed to stand up to regular wear, sagging and warping around every seem within weeks. Even the hem on one pair completely fell apart! Indochino seems to be well aware of their lack of durability, because they only address quality issues within 10 days of delivery.I think this is unacceptable. Indochino claims to offer high-quality made-to-order clothing, but they don't back it up with good customer service or durable materials construction. They are fine if you want a suit for a single occasion, but don't expect anything more from them. I would not recommend them to anyone who values their money and their wardrobe.
Tung Ha: I heard about Indochino through the Art of Manliness podcast a few years ago. It live in Bellingham, WA, but it is easier for me to get to BC, Canada than Seattle, WA. I scheduled an appointment online. After getting measurements, I chose the material, and customized the cut and details of the suit. All in all, it was a fun process. Since my measurements are on my profile, I can order future suits and shirts from the website. I'm looking forward to trying on the suits.

Kyle Fuzi: I ordered 3 business shirts from Indochino in a white stretch cotton fabric. The shirts arrived and did not fit as expected and alterations would not fix all of the issues so they were going to remake them. No problem, I’m happy they will remake them as per their Fit Promise. They emailed me to let me know they ran out of stock of that particular fabric and asked if there was any other fabric I liked that could be a good substitute. There wasn’t as the white stretch cotton was the only stretch in white that they have and what I find most comfortable. Being that they couldn’t fulfill my order and they had no idea when that particular fabric would be in stock they said they’d give me store credit. I asked for a refund as that fabric was the only reason I ordered anything from Indochino in the first place. They refused, essentially stealing from me. I will never again order from them and will recommend colleagues and friends to stay clear. I’ll also be taking this up with Visa to get my money back.
James: Terrible fit and terrible customer service. I would have been better off buying something off the shelf. Sleeves were too short, jacket way too long. Pants are baggy. A supper awkward cut with obviously no quality control or human oversight. Just garbage pumped out of china. My tailor said it would be over $200 to try and fix it if he even could. They refuse to honor their fit promise and now just ignore my emails. They wont alter the suit themselves nor do a remake. avoid at all costs.
Peter Nico: By far this is the worst retail experience I have ever had. I have no idea how this place stays in business. You sell custom suits and you don't have any examples on hand to show people. You wanted me to use my imagination on how it's going to look and wait 5 weeks to see if it works and then another 3 if it needs alterations. Save yourself the pain people, just go to Moores.

Tom Bryski: Critical:ValueThis company cancelled our trip due to the travel restrictions because of COVID-19. We had paid in full but, unlike airlines, they refused to refund our money. They claim, despite the original agreement, they did this to stay in business. Ripping-off people won’t help your business.
gsanda1: We paid in FULL for a trip with this company. Great Canadian Railtour cancelled our trip a month before it was scheduled. We simply asked for a refund, but Great Candadian Railtour absolutely refused to give us any of our money back. This is flat out wrong and unethical, to say the least, not to mention it is theft when you don't provide product or service to the customer, but keep all of their money. Shame on Great Canadian Railtour. The greed in this world is overwhelming.

After more than a month, 2 applicants were brought to the table, with less experience in our companies industry than was intended, and the Goldbeck team cancelled the contract.I’ve worked with another recruitment agency that brought more than 20 candidates for the same role several years ago. It is a bit underwhelming, considering I followed the salary outline the owner provided, and even raised it higher.
