Aileen B: My friends and I were visiting Vancouver from Seattle in January and were walking around one evening around 5:45 when we were lucky enough to stumble upon this shop. Everything is so gorgeous! We were immediately obsessed and wanted to buy everything! We didn’t realize that the store closed at 6 but the owner stayed late with us to help us each pick out some beautiful peices because we were leaving the next day. We all work in retail so we know how annoying it can be when customers stay past closing but we did not feel rushed at all, she was very patient and helpful. You can tell that she really takes pride in every item that she has chosen to carry. I am in love with everything I bought, it adds such character to my apartment and I know that they are peices I will have for a long time. My friends and I still talk about how obsessed we are with this place. If you’re visiting Vancouver or lucky enough to live here you need to check this store out!!!

In my search for a silver moroccan pouf which I initially saw at the staging of a condo for sale - I was able to track it down to this unique boutique store in Gastown. From my initial call about the pouf - the benefits of stuffed or unstuffed - etc etc - Linda was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond what was expected of any retail store. I was a typical undecided woman regarding the color - and Linda was extremely helpful in helping me make that final decision. It's not often you find that kind of customer service. I have recommended her store many times to countless friends - and having a daughter-in-law who is an interior designer - I couldn't help but expound on her store - her inventory - almost every item in the shop caught my eye. Well worth the visit. A great place to do your Christmas shopping!
Admin: The owner, Linda, was so helpful when I was deciding on choosing my bed. I had so many designs in mind that I wasn't able to decide on what I wanted to get. She is so patient and explains everything that clients need to know before making purchases. She provides a great personalized service and really helped me to narrow down on what I needed the most. I love her pretty shop, and the price is reasonable compared to other furniture stores in downtown Vancouver. Very happy with the purchases from L'Atelier Home. Quality is top notch and the customer service even makes it better :) will be returning for sure!

I said I was looking to buy another sofa and he said curtly "new price sale just ended, we had signs up everywhere. No sale and all of our prices have gone up, you should have come last week" I left never to return not ever and I would not recommend his store to anyone I know. I guess he did not see my sign.
Bj Woods: Awesome Canadian made stuff here. Fits right in to this area of the city. Although there are a lot of things I couldn't buy, the quality is there.
Andrea Wright: We walked in to Industrial Revolution after checking out the website and looking at a number of stores on Granville. We were in search of a home office computer desk. Saw three that we liked (three more than all of the other stores) and had Harald help us. He was great. Hung back until he saw we were ready to ask questions and reviewed all the pros and cons of the models we were looking at. Very knowledgeable and gave us a great deal on the floor models. We love the product and the service. Highly recommend.
Marlowe Irvine: It is not that everything went completely smoothly when I ordered three pieces of furniture from Industrial Revolution; more that the tiny glitches that did occur were dealt with quickly, professionally, and with attentiveness. AND of course, all three pieces are exquisite! I will be back and hope once again to deal with Ben and Carolyn who were friendly, considerate and very very kind.

P Kwok: It was a nightmare in recent purchase in Industial Revoluyion Furniture. We paid the dining table, delivery and assembly fee in full in advance. Then in the delivery day, the installers didn't bring the needed hardware for the table assembly. So the table was just left unassembled at our home. We asked the installer to come back with the hardware to complete the assembly but no feedback. The shop asked us to go to their place to pick up used hardware but at the expense of our time. It is totally no customer service and just put the burden of other faults on us, the customer. Totally disappointed and frustrated.

Nadia Grunwell: What a disappointment. Terrible service. There seemed to be a lack of interest and willingness to give good customer service. In fact one of the staff was quite sarcastic to me. It was a relief to go and shop at Bed, Bath and Beyond afterwards, to be served by a fantastic person who seemed to understand what good customer service entails. He put himself out, with a smile. Absolutely charming.
Jennifer Lucas: I bought a really unique sleeper sofa. They were upfront about how long it would take a custom order from Finland and that timeline was pretty accurate. Great communication from Harald whenever I asked for an update. Delivery was easy to arrange, very flexible and they took care of everything. It took some time to get, but it was well worth the wait. Can't wait for my first guest.
Bill Wu: Was looking everywhere for specific counter stools but didn’t know the brand name. Marc was really helpful and professional with my search and ordered the stools for me through the manufacturer. Delivery was suppose to take 4 weeks and it arrived in one week. I picked up my order at Industrial Revolution and the staff unboxed the stools for easier transport and also disposed/recycled the packing material for me. Great after sales service. Thank you for the smooth transaction.

hong qiu: I bought lots of furnitures from this store, like them all the time until had this leg degumming yesterday(This coffee table is 6 years old). This is extremely dangerous if it hit the leg as the marble is very heavy. Just use glue to install the leg is not a high-end furniture brand should do, it's definitely a bad design. Personally, I think Vancouver store should report it to headquarter. I worry about the other 3 legs, I will never know when they gonna degumming again.

Malcolm Seddon: Since I moved into my new apartment, nearly two years ago, I’ve needed help finding furniture that works in the space. I have dealt with two salespeople, and the store manager- all unfailingly helpful. Bo’s website is good, but you really do need a salesperson/designer versed in all the nuances of the product line. And, though the sales room is good, it cannot possibly inventory every piece of the Bo line.Ronald, the most recent addition to my Bo assistants, has been brilliant and finds me solutions to problems.I really love the clean aesthetic of the Bo line. The quality is high and the prices extremely reasonable, having that high quality in mind. This really is my go to store for all my furniture and, if they don’t have it, I know I’m going to be paying a lot more elsewhere.11 out of 10.

Teresa Ma: My husband and I walked into BoConcept on West 6th Ave the first time with the intention of browsing around only. We were very impressed with Ryan's professional and courteous services overall. He was not pushy at all. A week later, he gave us a good design suggestions based on the photos and floor plan of our condo apartment. We purchased the ceramic stone top Milano dinning table but the natural stone look of the table top was not what I expected, and it looked different from the one in their show room. I thought I could get used to it but I was not happy with it. I mentioned to Ryan a month later while shopping for other items in the store. He offered to either re-order another new top or to exchange the one in the showroom with ours. I opted to exchange with the one in the show room. Rick was very helpful and arranged a delivery within 4 days! Their delivery team did an excellent job too, they showed us how to work the extensions and even took the time to clean the whole table top!I am super pleased with BoConcept and will definitely shop there again and highly recommend to others.
Cody Watson: AWFUL return policy that is highly punitive (45% restocking fee?!) and is uncommunicated at time of purchase. Regardless, the quality is excellent, staff are very nice, despite making an error on my original order.

Fookes Family: Bought a $200 planter, pure white and plain. They wouldn’t let me buy the one in the floor that I could see, instead I have to pick one up in a box from the loading dock. I take it home and the ceramic glaze is full of pock marks and imperfections. I call them, they tell me to bring it back, but I live quite a distance from there so told them to pick it up. They said no because that’s what the pot was supposed to look like, I said the one on the floor didn’t look like that. They offered me 20% off, I asked for 50 for damages goods, again was refused. Talked to the are manager who was just as arrogant as the store manager, terrible customer service and faulty product

But unfortunately, now that it is May 2023, I still haven't received some of my items.Each of my items arrived three or four months late. And the customer service did not help me at all.While it is written in my receipt, it may reach you two weeks late from the mentioned date. But we did not receive any apology email or notification for our three or four month delays.And now we have emailed them for almost three weeks to return a table, but they have not contacted us yet.I suggest you, when you don't know if your items are unlabeled, it's better not to take money from your customers.

I ordered a sideboard for my office in February with an estimated delivery date of early March and as of May 11th have still not received it. Their communication on their site and via email about stock & delivery times was incredibly poor.Customer satisfaction is not a priority for them and they have 0 interest in trying to make my experience a happier one. And from the negative reviews and sentiment online, it sounds like many others have had a similar experience!

I bought a doormat online and got it shipped to the store for pick up since their website suggests this option if you want to save on shipping costs. They ended up charging me $50 to ship it to the store, which is more than what the doormat costs. I called customer service multiple times to either cancel the order or get the fee waived with no results. I ended up paying $100 for a doormat that I had to go pick up myself at the store. I will not be shopping at West Elm ever again.
Amy Yoon: Sooooooo TERRIBLE!!!I ordered 2 nightstands and a dresser on Mar 20 over the phone. Since the dresser was back ordered and my new home was not completed yet, I asked a sales if all my orders can be delivered once the dresser is in which is between May15-30. However, soon later, I found out the nightstands were already shipped. I called the sales at Granville Street again to ask what I should do and he told me to call CS to cancel the order. I called CS and the rep said my order couldn't be cancelled because it's already shipped but she could make the nightstands come back to their facility and ship it with my dresser. I thought the problem was solved but it was NOT!!! I emailed Westelm to handle this responsibly, and they have ignored my emails after all. Also, I called the store and left my phone number to call me back. Of course, NO CALL BACK YET.
Natalie Davidson: Absolutely horrible. I ordered a couch which then became back ordered for 5 months. Then when it was supposed to be delivered, the moving company that was sent to deliver it was unable to even lift it out of the truck as their employees were not fit enough so they had to take it back. One month later after having to argue against a $400 extra delivery fee and intercept the couch actually being returned to their LA warehouse, the couch was delivered WITH NO LEGS. Absolutely no accountability from West Elm, no offer of compensation, and just being told constantly I would be called back with no follow up. So I currently have a $4000 couch with no legs. I hate this company and will never purchase anything from them again. On top of this, the in store clerks are extremely rude and dismissive.
Meena Uppal: I ordered a buffet on April 3rd. It was supposed to be delivered by April 23rd, 2022. On April 23rd it got pushed back to May 23rd. I’ve called three times and have been told this won’t happen the next month and it’ll be delivered. I was assured this wouldn’t happen again and now the status says July 23rd. If I had known it would take this long I would definitely have gone with a different company. There is no communication and customer service is not helpful.Update: it’s now August and still no product or resolution.It’s now end of September and still no product.Mid November: zero communication and no buffet.Do not purchase anything online from West Elm.It’s now April 2023, zero communication and no product. I’ve sent in a request for a refund.

Roderick Lee: We ordered the Mini 24” Vanity from West Elm in July and paid $396.35 CAD for white glove delivery service for their third party delivery company, AMJ Campbell. The estimated delivery date was mid-August, but it was delayed until late-September. On the day before the scheduled delivery, AMJ Campbell informed us that they had misplaced the hardware (handles and knobs) for the vanity. The new estimated delivery date was January, so we asked if they could deliver the vanity without the hardware. This was already inconvenient, but the reason for this review is the damage that they left to our brand new floors during the delivery.On October 17th, AMJ Campbell delivered and assembled the vanity without the hardware, leaving a scratch about 1 meter long on our brand new engineered wood flooring (see photos). We were shocked, as we paid for "white glove delivery service" and did not expect this to happen. We immediately contacted AMJ Campbell and West Elm to inform them of the issue and started claims with both companies.A month passed, and we heard nothing from either company so we went to the Granville store where we initially placed the order and spoke with the store manager, Marko, who was very helpful. He cc'd the leadership team for both companies, and there was some progress made, confirming that a claim was made when we originally called. However, aside from that, there was no other communication from either company.When the hardware was finally delivered in January, we left an internal review/message for AMJ Campbell, and they contacted us that day, saying that a contractor named Martin would be in touch. Martin eventually got in touch, and we sent him specifications on the floor and photos. He said he would contact the original floor manufacturers to figure out the best solution. However, we have not received any response since February, despite trying to get an update.We have resolved to take care of the issue ourselves, but the lack of communication from both West Elm and AMJ Campbell has been atrocious throughout this whole process. We just wanted some form of accountability for the damage they did to our floors. We feel that being forced to pay almost $400 CAD for this service was an additional slap in the face.We will definitely go out of our way to avoid AMJ Campbell in the future and will not be buying any furniture that requires delivery from West Elm again. That being said, the quality of vanity itself is great, it's just the delivery and customer service from both companies have left us with a sour experience. We hope that others considering purchasing from West Elm or using AMJ Campbell for delivery take note of our experience. We hope this insight will allow West Elm and AMJ take more initiative on their customer service instead of hoping the other will resolve it. We’ve reached out to both companies more than half a dozen times each and it has been like pulling teeth to get any response or resolution despite confirming the Claim.2 Stars for the fact that vanity itself is nice. But customer service for damage left during delivery (that cost $400 CAD) has been painful. We paid to have the issue fixed with our own contractor because neither West Elm or AMJ Campbell have put forth a solution to fix the damage done during delivery.

Ordered a carpet in October, which as of today (end of March) has yet to arrive. Customer support is not able to resolve any issues and no one knows what is happening with items. While not all the items we purchased experience this issue—the fact that they cannot ship simple items such as a carpet for over half a year and cannot provide an answer as to why they are having issues. I truly hope this string of poor reviews and same issues provide an incentive for management to resolve their shipment problems. As for us, we will no longer be buying anything from West Elm unless it is from the store—as we simply dont know if we will ever receive the item.
Kevin Chui: Ordered a sectional sofa and only half of it arrived accompanied by a headboard for a bed we didn’t order. 6 months of trying to reach out to customer support later and I still haven’t received it. Tried to initiate a refund at month 2. The interactions would always be “we’ll reach out to you in a week” followed by radio silence, then calling them would get “apologies, the last person didn’t update the case file correctly”. It took a month and a half for them to arrange for delivery company to pick up the half sofa. Take your money elsewhere.

Multiple items were ordered in April 2022… and as of today (end of October 2022) the products have either not arrived, or arrived defective MULTIPLE TIMES.I urge you not to dispose of or disassemble your existing furniture because your West Elm made to order furniture WILL arrive constructed like it was made by blind monkeys. We have moved/disassembled/reassembled our couch and bed multiple times only to be told by the delivery servicemen that critical parts are missing or the screws and holes do not line up and the piece cannot be assembled. Yes. This has happened multiple times with multiple pieces of furniture.Three things made the experience exponentially worse;Firstly - customer service is nonexistent. Good luck escalating your concerns beyond “making a note on the order”. The customer has to actively work to find their own solutions as call backs and service requests are not followed up on. Still waiting on a call back request placed weeks ago. When you call customer service, they make it sound like a one off but READ REVIEWS and recognize that this is the new norm and not the exception!!Secondly - you’ll pay $400 for “white glove service” but when the products arrive inevitably damaged/unconstructable/missing pieces - you will be responsible for storing multiple boxes of unconstructed furniture in your home for weeks/months until the missing part arrives (good luck if you live in a condo). Additionally, when the missing pieces arrive, YOU will be responsible for coordinating with AMJ (the home delivery company) to have them come and build the furniture. This might happen multiple times because there will be not one, not two, but multiple issues with the furniture.Thirdly - the store was unable to place our large order via phone (paid by Visa) due to intermittent “issues with their system” which apparently happens quite often. How odd. The salesperson offered a workaround - purchase multiple West Elm gift cards which could be accepted via phone. Aware of supply chain issues, I was eager to place the order ASAP so I did as told. After the hellish experience with custom order furniture - I am DEEPLY REGRETTING DOING SO as now I cannot even contact Visa to dispute this ridiculous black hole of issues. I am starting to wonder if this gift card workaround is actually a sales scam (to drive in store sales quotas? to prevent charge backs for repeatedly defective merchandise?)GO ELSEWHERE or pay $4000 per piece + for structube quality “craftsmanship” and customer service. I have had less issues with my Ikea furniture from college. At this point they just took my money and delivered me incomplete, broken pieces of trash. I feel sorry for whatever trees had to die to make this garbage.
Carly Gilmore: Bought 2 sets of cutlery here that started chipping less than a year later. When I reached out a week past the 1 year mark they said it wasn’t covered under warranty (fair, that’s my fault for delaying) and they would forward my request for replacement to management. I followed up 2 weeks later of radio silence and they didn’t respond to my first email, a week later I inquired about the status again and they had me start the process again (send pictures, explain use [2 person household for 8 sets of cutlery that doesn’t entertain often], and explain typical wash cycle). After another 2 weeks of radio silence I’ll need to reach out again. If your product is bad and you won’t stand by it then fine, but at least tell me it’s a no. I shouldn’t have to chase you for an update. I will not be shopping here again after bad product experience and terrible customer service experience. My recommendation: don’t shop here, but if you do then don’t buy their cutlery.

Side tables came, coffee table delayed till October, then November, then later November, then December, then later December. Delivery with Purolator scheduled over Christmas. Tried to change delivery due to OOT, no way to change with West Elm or Purolator. Failed delivery #1, rescheduled early January 2023, Failed delivery #2, later January Failed delivery #3. Item sent back by Purolator. West Elm then claimed coffee table had been delivered in December. Another on hold customer service nightmare #4, finally planned redelivery. NO DELIVERY scheduled after 2 weeks, failed delivery #4. Apologies, apologies from West Elm, no Table, 6 MONTHS. No gesture of goodwill. Go to EQ3, much much better!!

Had an engaging tour of the local and high end jewellery, I could live there it's so nice. Parking is atrocious though, but if you're on foot, take a minute to pop in. No regrets. I was on the waitlist for a YEAR for the popular KOTINOS WREATH, just to be told that the manufacturer (Bliss Studio) changed how the wreath looks. I don't know why The Cross and their manufacturer Bliss Studio didn't honour what they promised to customers. The Cross should have told the manufacturer that they had customers waiting for a year for this specific style of the wreath. Instead, I get an email saying how the wreath is still beautiful and structurally sound from their employee. Wow! No acknowledgement of the inconvenience after making me wait a year for a product and probably other customers too. Which company puts you on waitlist for a year for a product? The Cross didn't even try to resolve this issue with their manufacturer. The manufacturer Bliss Studio still claims to sell the old Kotinos wreath on their site. Other sellers still claim to have the old Kotinos wreath, because the manufacturer hasn't informed them of the "NEW Kotinos Wreath". How does a manufacturer just change its products without informing its suppliers? I don't know why The Cross is carrying products from such a misleading manufacturer. It's unheard of waiting a YEAR for a product and then disappointing your customers. Please avoid this place, they don't care about their customers!

M K: The delivery people called me at 10:20 am and they will arrived in 15-20mins when they told me to come between 11:30-1:30 the day before they arrived. However, luckily I was home(it’s Tuesday, most people go to work and they probably arrange the lunchtime to receive the furniture.) Once they arrived a delivery guy told me it won’t fit in the building hallway didn’t even try to bring it in(I even told them we have two different floors). Also, they brought the table when I asked bring the table and chairs together so see they go together. I explained them then they didn’t want to bring the table back and told me “this table is for you so if we bring it back, it might get damaged when we bring it back.” (Are they crazy?) So we had to talk to the manager to tell them to bring the table back. When they leave they told me the company will contact me in a few days for refund the couch but they did not return the call after 10days so I had to call them and the actual show room people told me the delivery people did not process to return. Also, before the delivery people they left so many garbage on the hall way (from putting tables together).I am really hoping they do better job when they are bringing the chairs and table in next month.(hope not this same delivery guy) So far my experience was terrible with this place and would NOT recommend to anyone, however I will update review after they bring my table and chairs next month.Very disappointed!
jacqui dudeck: I bought Sheets two years ago, linen sheets on sale. I gave them a bad review because within months big hole had worn down on the fitted sheet. Someone from their customer service contacted me right away after I gave them a bad review and said they would send me a gift card in the mail for the cost. They didn’t ask me to return the sheets. I never did get that gift card. I complained several times and they said it was in the mail and it never came. The sheets her now discontinued so I’m sure the review is no longer up. The sheets were still about $300 on sale so you would expect that they would last longer than four months. That is the only big purchase I made CB2, other than that they have a great selection of interesting light bulbs. They also have some beautiful. Sofas and accessories but I would be weary of the quality.
Mahshid Farsani: I used to be a loyal customer of CB2, but I am now disappointed with their service. I purchased a couch on final sale, and when the delivery arrived, we found that it did not fit in the elevator or stairways. I was surprised because CB2 never mentioned that the dimensions mattered when I bought it. Today, I went to Bay Home, where they provided me with a printed sheet detailing the dimensions of the stairway, hallway, and elevator, and advised me to ensure that my building's dimensions could accommodate the furniture before making a purchase.I contacted CB2 to explain my situation, but they repeatedly stated that they do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale items. The manager did not show any empathy and only focused on the brand policies, suggesting that I put the couch in my friend's storage or sell it on a marketplace. :she assumed I have a friend that has a big empty storage!!)This was not helpful, and I felt frustrated and upset. I believe that people define policies and that the customer's situation should be considered above all policies. I am now in a difficult situation as the building manager will only allow me to keep the couch in the parking lot for 24 hours. I have also posted an ad on Facebook Marketplace to sell it. CB2's policies have caused me a lot of inconvenience and trouble.

From start to finish, the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and supportive. Their customer service was top-notch and I felt like they genuinely cared about my needs and wants.When I went to pick up my dining table and bench, I was impressed by how well-packaged everything was. They clearly take great care in making sure that their products are delivered without any damages. I was able to transport everything in my car without any issues.While CB2's prices are a little bit higher than some other retailers, I found them to be reasonable given the high quality of their products. Plus, I was able to snag all of my drinkware at a discount, which made me feel like I was getting a great deal.Overall, I would highly recommend CB2 to anyone looking for high-quality furniture and home decor items. Their staff are wonderful, their customer service is excellent, and their products are top-notch. I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future!

Julie Angeletti: Went in store to purchase curtains which were in stock according to their website. When I arrived, the person helping me said they were not in store, but in stock at their warehouse, which would take approx 2 weeks to ship out. I ordered the curtains and 2 weeks later, hadn't heard anything from CB2. I called in and spoke with someone who said it's weird they hadn't shipped as there were plenty of curtains in stock at their warehouse. She said someone would follow-up with me and would ship them directly to my home as a courtesy. One week later, no update. I call back and now the story is they're completely sold out and on back order until the end of the month. This has been the most infuriating retail experience I've ever encountered. Unprofessional, disorganized and complete lack of transparency or care for their customers. Based on the amount of similar reviews, it appears to be a common theme with CB2. Never returning.

When it was delayed the third time, I got an email saying it is now delayed to mi-December. Yay finally an email from CB25. I randomly checked my order status today, it's now ready for delivery. again - nobody let us know. of course, the dates are booked for the next 2 weeks!Putting all delivery issues aside, CB2 have zero respect for their customers. Very frustrating experience.So I called the number provided below hoping I could get an early delivery date. They said there is no Cassie :). A gentle man talked to me on the phone and confirmed there is nothing they can do and said he is sorry for the experience I received. Thanks CB2 for wasting another 20 min of my life. I’d strongly recommend anyone I know to avoid CB2 at all cost.

July 06/2022 - received the email saying "ITEMS IN YOUR ORDER ARE READY TO BE SCHEDULED FOR PICKUP". July 06/2022 - Confirmed the delivery date July 29/2022 "Your delivery has been scheduled". However, I booked a day off July 29th for the shipment, and called on Jul 28th to confirm the shipping. The customer service told me shipment was cancelled and rescheduled to Aug 03, without telling me????? Fine, I booked another day off to wait for the TV Stand on Aug 03 from 4:45 - 7pm as scheduled, NO ONE SHOWED UP! NO PHONE CALL FROM THE DRIVER!!! On Aug 04, the customer service told me, the TV Stand got rescheduled to Aug 10, EXCUSE ME????? ALSO ANOTHER BAD NEWS, THE KING BED IS MISSING SOME PARTS..... excuse me? After waiting for 3 month, and being confirmed by CB2 so many times about my shipment, right now you are telling me the bed IS NOT AVAILABLE?? This is not even last minute; it's unacceptable. I lost 2 vacation days waiting at home based on the scheduled time frame provided by CB2, FOR NOTHING (WITHOUT NOTIFYING AT ALL) I purchased all the underbed organizers to use specifically for this bed (based on the dimension) because the bed shipping WAS CONFIRMED!!!!!! I purchased 2 sets of the bedding sheet in grey to match the new bed, now what do i do????? YOU CAN NOT JUST TELL ME SORRY THE SHIPMENT IS NOT GONNA HAPPEN. There are so many times you can confirm the order and make sure you have all the pieces to deliver to the customer, before telling us the item is ready!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU CB2!!!!!
