Bute Street Sexual Health Clinic: what do users think?
Jay Gee
Jay Gee: Lady on the phone was SOOO rude, told me to stop sleeping around and i wont need prep... wild she needs to get fired
Renato Pereira
Renato Pereira: I have been going to this clinic for many years now, and I have always received great service from very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Thank you so much!
Abby Pelaez
Abby Pelaez: Very professional, well-equipped clinic. The waiting room had brochures and posters for several LGBTQ+ resources. One of the nurses, I think her name was Linda, was super caring and nonjudgmental. They offer great services. Wait times get busier as the day goes on.
Bilal Butt
Bilal Butt: It's a great option to Vancouver's LGBTQ2+ community but inconvenient hours of operation and very long waiting times, no ability to reserve appointment ahead of time as its drop in only. So plan ahead and take a day off work because it pretty takes a good half of the day to successfully get in and tested at this location.
FB
FB: The receptionist could be replaced by an AI and be twice as useful, and they let someone eat their dinner in the waiting room which made my experience extremely hangry and a bit gross. But everyone here just wants you to be healthy and that's what they're good at so here's a 5 star review, tyvm.
Meiyi Universe
Meiyi Universe: Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Smooth process for the free of charge testing.

Judith C Corchuelo
Judith C Corchuelo: Great service and amazing workers!
Aaron Adams
Aaron Adams: Hard working staff protecting the province.
Terrie W
Terrie W: I am a senior, fully vaccinated & always double mask when in stores. My first covid was Christmas Day. Last Wed. was my birthday so my daughters & I went to the beach. My granddaughter had Covid after being at a party. Her mother tested negative for two days prior to us getting together. Two days later my other daughter & I have Covid after being tested. So, these numbers that BC CDC are reporting are far from accurate. Everyone you talk to has either had Covid or knows someone who has it. And now restrictions are being lifted? Are Health Authorities trying to kill us off? I'm so angry!!!
bruno
bruno: The nurses here are top notch. Friendly, they answer any and all concerns, and really seem like they care.Seriously I don’t think I’ve felt more comfortable in a medical setting than with the medical staff at this clinic.
June Earle
June Earle: I wanted to give a huge Thank You to Dr, Bonnie Henry for her amazingly consistent presence during a time of great anxiety and constantly changing information from around the world. I am so grateful to you for your courage in speaking out during this “unprecedented “ times. You are deserving of enormous gratitude and respect for guiding us through COVID19. THANK YOU. 👏👏
Claire C Warner
Claire C Warner: Health services in this country just continue to get worse with the lack of competence and responsiveness. I cannot get anyone at this organisation to even answer the phone, let alone answer my query.
Jimmy Schroeder
Jimmy Schroeder: Thank you so much healthcare workers
AB Huang (Albert Huang)
AB Huang (Albert Huang): too lazy. did not report any data during holiday.
Norm Church
Norm Church: Losing faith in Dr. Bonnie. Let's get the boosters running at full speed. And handing out rapid tests in boxes of 25 is ridiculous. Split them into smaller lots and get them out to everyone.
Eryn Strong
Eryn Strong: Tells me waiting time on phone is 30mins. Been on hold for an hour and 5 mins. Waiting time with 1 minute has been going on for 10mins lmao cmon...
Chris D
Chris D: Ineffective, confused staff, unable or unwilling to answer questions. Communications are not answered in a meaningful timeframe, and when they are answered, it’s an excuse why it was not done. Disappointed by the lack of professionalism of our medical professionals
Michael Morgan Bain
Michael Morgan Bain: In the interest of providing balance, with real reviews rather than ones from antivax campaigners, if you are going to the cdc it's to access free services provided with care and patience from excellent doctor nurse teams who do everything possible to help you feel welcomed and cared for. I have zero complaints.
david bolton
david bolton: good
TBA
TBA: ..... Not very impressed with how things are going....
lu queena
lu queena: The attitude of the nurse at the front desk is very bad! She is a woman who can understand Chinese. I don't think she should have such a working attitude as a medical staff. The patient's inquiries she behaved as if she looked down on someone, which is really annoying!
katarina krizaj
katarina krizaj: I needed my inhaler after dealing with them cause i was so stressed. It was such a struggle to get them to do the tests my Dr. wanted. Brutal that healthcare is so policed in this province. My mother is a Dr. out of province and she couldn't believe how hard it was to get the test I needed as requested by a Dr. in this province.
Wayne Tingley
Wayne Tingley: Clearly, BC is falling behind other provinces, especially Alberta, in vaccinating elderly. I know of a lot of 75 plus seniors in Alberta that have already been vaccinated. Pretty sad performance! Dr. Henry is not being honest in her answers!
Leanne Cummins
Leanne Cummins: Incredible service. Kind, caring and professional staff.
Happy Chika
Happy Chika: How is it that you dont update covid stats at a specific time everyday. Seems very disorganized which does not lead to trust in your organization from the public!
A Z
A Z: Lovely staff who are so caring and understanding!
Charlotte O'Reilly
Charlotte O'Reilly: Caring staff who are implementing helpful initiatives for British Columbia.

Southridge Square
Southridge Square: You cannot get in touch with anyone. Good luck getting nurses to call you back. 10 years ago, their services were great. Very disappointing!
Lisa Lagos
Lisa Lagos: Been going here since 1991. A top notch women's and children's (and spouses where applicable) health centre that considers not just medical health care but also has a nutritionist on site, a counselor and psychiatrist, pharmacist and social worker. As well they have a once monthly support group at Oak tree and other groups in the community. You are treated with respect and dignity as they truly care about their patients. I can't recommend Oak Tree Clinic enough.

Steve Kasica
Steve Kasica: Both of our kids were delivered here, 10/10 would recommend again.
Bonkowskiart
Bonkowskiart: The staff are excellent and most of the facility seems nice but SWEET BABY MOSES! The arbutus wing is trash. 3rd world hospital conditions. Apparently at this hospital 70 % of births here are done by c-section those who endure that hardship go to a recovery ward in the tiniest rooms all ghetto trashed with violent toilets. New father's like me have to sleep on the floor and some of the rooms have windows into hallways?? Please rebuild this wing.
Samantha McIntosh
Samantha McIntosh: I had a procedure done here recently and the staff in the surgical unit were amazing. I was an anxious mess and they were all so friendly and made me feel so at ease. I’ve never seen a group of staff so calm that treat you like a human and not just a patient they need to get in and out. They also made sure I had the right next steps and medications I needed to be as pain-free as possible. I have absolutely zero complaints.
Gabrielle Cholette
Gabrielle Cholette: The nursing staff is incredibly supportive and attentive. They were kind and informative. The Dr. was effective and very good at his job but a little bit cold. Overall, would highly recommend this clinic to other women.

Obie O
Obie O: Weird vibe
OneFiveThreeSixTwoFour VR6
OneFiveThreeSixTwoFour VR6: Wonderful place to give birth however I've had 2 bad experiences during my first and third birth. I don't want to sound sexist but the first lady who was trying to give me an epidural in 2008, told me to sit still and shut up or she wont be able to give the epidural.. I was shaking in fear as it was my first birth at just 20 years old... the nurse handling my premature baby was very rough... very bad experience. 3rd birth in 2020, the doctor on call which was also a woman, wasn't compassionate at all. She was annoyed... and told me to go home as there was nothing she could do. I had an emergency c section 2 days later...... 1st lady was blonde, nurse was east Indian and the last was Chinese... I never liked Chinese doctors. No compassion or any bedside manners. (I am Chinese so I'm very aware of how our culture is despite what white people say)Anyways, I've held in my experience long enough and I feel much better.
Sergei Lenkov
Sergei Lenkov: I would say first that all the nurses and doctors were very professional and caring and this is the most important thing you are looking for when you and your partner are about to have a baby. Special thanks to nurse Ling for detailed explanation on how to properly do the breastfeeding to my wife! They also gave us an extra day to stay for my wife to recover from unplanned urgent surgery - made a difference. She was also provided with food and all necessities for her and our baby. The building itself is in good condition, all the equipment was modern and had everything that might be needed. You can also buy a meal and/or coffee at the cafeteria or buffet if you're hungry. The minor things to improve are a lack of place to sleep for father in the room (had to sleep on mattress on the floor - although I did not care after 24 hours of no sleep), waiting for anesthesia an hour extra cause anesthesiologists were busy and waiting for urgent surgery cause there was another more serious surgery going on (still my wife was constantly checked on her condition)...But all in all, everything went good and our experience was very positive and I would recommend the place for meeting with your baby!
marcos almeida
marcos almeida: My wife arrived at the hospital pregnant (8 weeks), bleeding, and they told us there was no available ultrasound. Guess what? The doctor said:” the ultrasound team will call you through the next week and book a day for you to take the ultrasound.” This is unbelievable and unacceptable! Because she was bleeding on the weekend, we must wait until Monday. I’m wondering how this place which called itself a woman hospital, does not have an ultrasound for pregnant available for emergencies? It's reasonable and more than necessary an improvement for them.
Jasmine Carlson
Jasmine Carlson: I had day surgery today and every single staff member that I interacted with were so so lovely. I have never had such a calm time at the hospital, everyone really helped me not feel anxious in the slightest even having an IV in which is a huge phobia of mine went smoothly and didn’t cause me anxiety like it usually does. There was even a dog that came to say hi beforehand which was so great for calming any anxiety I was having. I had anxiety when I got to the hospital but by the time I went into the OR all of that anxiety was completely gone. 10/10 staff ☺️
Marcia Matchett
Marcia Matchett: The best I have ever been treated and I finally feel Amazing after years of struggling.
Deniz Soykurum Çetin
Deniz Soykurum Çetin: I have had mammograms and biopsies at this hospital. The doctors, operators, nurses, and anyone working here is lovely and caring. They explain everything, they make you comfortable. Best care. Always grateful.
Gail Latowski
Gail Latowski: If you are just getting a Covid test and not pregnant or you don’t work in health care don’t go to this clinic. They will send you to 1290 Homer St. and now you have to pay for the test- $45. or $65. depending on what you are getting.
Megan
Megan: We received OUTSTANDING care, attention and guidance throughout the delivery of our first baby at BC Women's Hospital. Thank you to Dr. Rosengarten, Dr. Wong and all the maternity nurses and support staff. Absolutely fantastic health care teams at this hospital!
Enzo Guo
Enzo Guo: Great Doctors and Nurses, but the tiny parking stall is annoying, almost guaranteed door ding. I got a Tesla and I can tell people are being very careful but however I still got door ding on both side.
David Howell
David Howell: I just wish I could give BC Women's Hospital 10/5 stars. The staff were down right incredible for the birth of our first child. Can't imagine that experience without them.
RobJamie Lee
RobJamie Lee: We had an AMAZING experience delivering at BC Women's. This was our 2nd child but first time delivering at BCW. EVERY nurse we worked with were pleasant and professional. Everything was organized and we felt were were under the best care possible. We were also pleasantly surprised how good of the food was and how we get to pick what we'd like. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to stay at BCW this time. THANK YOU BC Women's and the entire team we are so grateful for you.
Kevin Cooper
Kevin Cooper: My wife had 3 beautiful and healthy babies here and our experiences were absolutely wonderful and perfect. Especially considering babies 2 and 3 were twins! (Thank you, Dr. Blumenthal). Thumbs up!

Ramtin Lahooti: Very knowledgeable staff
Adam Blender
Adam Blender: Last week I was admitted to St. Paul's for an ablation which is a procedure performed inside the heart. All of the nursing staff, as well as the doctors were friendly, empathetic and made me feel at ease. After hearing and seeing some of the horrible patients they have to deal with there, I have even more respect for them then I already had. Dr Yeung performed my ablation and with any luck it was successful, only time will tell. Their staff did an excellent job as far as I'm concerned and recommend the Heart Centre at St. Paul's to everyone in need of medical services for their heart.
Patrick Lee
Patrick Lee: Good job calling a 2nd waiting room fast track when people here are waiting up to three hours. Definitely fast track!
brashmarko
brashmarko: Ask for a little privacy and this what i get so I could sleep after having a stroke. I will be leaving tomorrow morning. How many people would take a pee in a plastic tube on video? *

Ricou: La jolie infirmière du 1er étage n'a pas voulue coucher avec moi quand je lui ai montrer mes fesses. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi, c'est honteux!
N Bala
N Bala: I have been living in Surrey and on hearing about the ER through friends and social media, I landed up at St. Paul’s and believe me that was one of the best decisions in my life preferring over the nearest ER. Staff from the greeter station to front desk to back room all were exceptional. Nurses, doctors, technicians were all superb. Turn around was pretty quick and my total thanks to the doctors Daniel Shi and Christopher DeWitt for the right advice and direction and concluding my visit an amazing experience. I had to change my mind totally that not all ERs are alike. There is outstanding one here which strives to take care of the patients utmost and make sure that when you leave, you are totally worry-free! Once again thank you doctors. A special mention about the nurse Bobby who attended to me nicely. Other ERs should consider this one as their ideal example to follow.
Joy Cabigting
Joy Cabigting: Amazing care! Amazing doctors and nurses!

Verna victoria Mclaughlin
Verna victoria Mclaughlin: I am so disappointed in the way I was treated at this hospital. And I won't be returning.
Nikki Toma
Nikki Toma: I would avoid this place at all costs. I was literally kicked out of emergency for trying to advocate for myself. Asked for a second opinion and they threatened to call security on me…I literally did nothing wrong but patiently wait there in agony. I have a rare condition called Neurogenic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. When it flares up I have to go to emergency but NEVER AGAIN. Shout out to Dr. Stoian. Thanks for literally treating me like nothing more than a piece of garbage. It’s scary that you are even practicing medicine. Please avoid this Dr. I don’t want anyone going through what I did today. He’s all ego and doesn’t care at all!!! MENTAL HEALTH IS REAL!!! #BEKIND
Spencer Quimby
Spencer Quimby: Had an outpatient procedure with the GI clinic. Everything went very smoothly. Nurses were fantastic, super friendly, helpful and reassuring. Doctor went over everything with me until I was absolutely satisfied I knew what was going on. Took what could have been a stressful morning and made it A OK. Thanks all!
Dark Simpson

viviene thomas
viviene thomas: The most amazing staff. From receptionist to surgeon the whole team is amazing. I felt so cared for and I would travel back again from Toronto to get amazing customer service.

siobhain Coopman
siobhain Coopman: Thanks to the amazing staff in the cardiology unit at St Paul’s Hospital ! The Dr’s and nurses gave exceptional care to my Mom . They were attentive , kind, caring and their bedside manner did not go unnoticed . Thank you 🙏
YAN YAN TSO
YAN YAN TSO: Really nice visit today. All things considered. Injured in transit and the ambulance took me here. Didn’t even know it was that close. Walking distance to workplace actually. And very different experience from ER as a walk in. Coming in by ambulance was definitely less wait time. Maybe almost 1.5-2 hrs total time in the hospital. Partially dislocated my shoulder. The X-ray staff super nice took things slow. The “student” that took the X-rays did nice job.
Ken Glen
Ken Glen: A very positive visit/experience even though this valuable asset is set in the middle of a portion of Vancouver which many City Administrations have ignored for decades....
Clara Andreoletti
Clara Andreoletti: Io son nato in questo ospedale e quindi gli son molto legato.
Maria .S
Maria .S: A well known hospital with knowledgeable, compassionate staff members 💜
Jim Ervin
Jim Ervin: I must give this hospital at least a five star review since I've been told that the paramedics actually saved my life there in 2021 when I went in with heart problems. It's quite disturbing for me to think of it now considering how perfectly normal I feel. I could complain about other things such as an increasing lack of a callback when I leave a message. But this place really came through for me in the crunch. And of course, that should be the same for anyone at any hospital.

Mary Pack Arthritis Program - Vancouver Arthritis Clinic: what do users think?
Olivia Vik
Olivia Vik: I visited today and had an extremely positive experience. I felt heard. I felt safe.I completely trust the sincere guidance that was given to me from Dr. Reynolds and her fellow. After being tossed around in the system it was such a relief to feel genuinely listened to.I feel at peace and i’m so grateful for my positive experience.
Lori Pederson
Lori Pederson: No services available for Rheumatoid Arthritis patients in Fraser Health Region. Doctor referrals rejected. Why?
D Chow
D Chow: I was declined after my GP gave me a referral to Mary Pack Center. I have arthritis on my baby finger & wanted to see them for special ring splints to be made. My referral was declined because my arthritis is serious enough to be accepted as a patient & their “policy” has changed. They gave me names of OT that may help me. Disappointed as no resources in Vancouver. I found Lion’s Gate Hospital Arthritis Program is taking referrals, 3 week wait time & can assess my situation for ring fingers.
Taiya Dionne
Taiya Dionne: Not very good patient care. Took forever to get a call back after referral to get in and see the doctor, could never get ahold of them over the phone, then went for an MRI in & didn’t receive a call back regarding the results and next steps until six mothers later, meanwhile my rheumatologist called me in to set up an appointment a couple of weeks later. Overall wasn’t worth the wait to get in and wish they had been more organized and actually cared for their patients.
Iysha Blais
Iysha Blais: Buckle up this is a long one... I was first diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when I was 14 at the children’s hospital. When you turn 18-19 they transfer you here to the YARD Clinic. They have a policy that parents shouldn’t come into the room with you... there reasoning is they are trying to help you into adulthood and talk for yourself. In actual fact it’s so they can bully you. The amount of times I left there crying because I basically got yelled at and told I don’t know what I’m talking about when it comes to my own body is astonishing! Asked for them to send me to a surgeon multiple times because the medication they had me on didn’t work and my hips were constantly in pain. They refused to do so saying that a surgeon wouldn’t even see me cause I was too young for a hip replacement at the age of 20. All they wanted to do was put me on different medication... but no medication was going to fix my problem. I needed a hip replacement.Fast forward a little bit and I couldn’t t even sit on the couch without screaming in pain so my mom made the executive decision to bring me to VGH. We get there the first thing the emergency Dr said was why is no one helping you... she gave me some very strong pain killers to help ease my excruciating pain. Then sent me for Xrays. This was the first time since I had been diagnosed that I was actually shown my Xrays. It was bad. She compared them to an 85 year old ladies hips and mine were worse. She fast tracked me to see a surgeon. The day I went in to fire The YARD clinic as my Drs. I told the nurse that my mom was coming in the room with me... she replied “that’s not how we do things here” I told her it is how we are doing it today. She acted like It was the end of the world that my mom was joining me. Then the Dr comes in and I start explaining why I’m upset and why I’m firing them. She got all defensive and said I was attacking her. But I didn’t say anything about her personally I didn’t like the clinic as a whole. She was very very very rude the whole conversation. The same day I had my consultation with the surgeon and got a hip replacement within 3 months!!! All in all I had a horrible experience at the YARD clinic, and thought 5 years after the fact I should tell a bit of my story.
Jessica MacDaniel
Jessica MacDaniel: I would highly discourage someone seeking help in managing or hoping to receive reccomendations about managing connective-tissue issues to attend Mary Pack. The outdated knowledge they use will be misleading and ensure that you will not get any help from your primary physician. The understanding of connective tissue disorders is not comprehensive or systemic and is limited to out of date and minor manifestations that can occur. The bedside patient care I received was that of a rheumatologist whom does not care about the impact she has on patients. Do not waste your time. You will be left in the dust. I have had to find answers elsewhere (which are all fairly serious, life-altering and was completely missed/ignored at this clinic). Most importantly, Jennifer Reynolds, a rheumatologist I saw at this clinic was dismissive and quite rude. She rolled her eyes multiple times when I asked her questions about my disorder, she gave no advice and with attitude she stated how I made poor decisions when trying activities that I afterwards found to be too much for my body (I have had no guidance whatsoever). She thought my MD's were not smart when they were not able to connect the dots with her purposely elusive diagnosis. She diagnosed me with outdated terms (that sound less severe than my actual problem) because she did not want me to "search google and create anxiety for myself", as she stated when I saw her for a follow-up. She does not want the responsibility of seeing Ehlers Danlos patients, however no-one else does. Dr Reynolds made it clear that she did not want to hear my concerns and stated that she did not want me to come back to see her with any questions. She even told me to "try to life a good life". However, on the report she sent to my doctor she said that she would see me again.EDS patients can suffer further complications when enduring surgery - so it is important to not get a negligent diagnosis. Many comorbidities can be involved that require management, which could have been directed here. I wonder how many future eds patients with arthritis and osteoarthritis will be denied care here simply because they also present hypermobility. I wonder how many others like me have waited 6+ months to see a rheumatologist here only to encounter Dr. reynolds and feel dismissed, let down and co fused and have had to question their encounter and work towards another lengthy process of finding care elsewhere..Rheumatology is supposed to be the best place for these patients to be. However, Mary Pack centre would rather pretend that we do not exist. I urge this centre to advocate for an eds/hypermobility clinic being opened if they want to simply not see hypermobile patients now. They are better positioned to help make that happen.
Irish Knight 1942
Irish Knight 1942: I could not say enough good things about the Mary Pack program. Just attended the education seminar. Instructor very knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate. Even though there are a dozen at the session he made each feel they were his personal problem to solve. Gave out instructions on the many services and classes to assist someone with the various forms of arthritis. Highly recommend their services.
Judy Judson
Judy Judson: I have gone to the Mary Paks Arthritus centre after 3 knee surgeries. They are knowledgeable and understanding. I highly recommend this facility for anyone in need of good physio.Just be prepared to work and do the exercises. Believe me it is so worth it.
A D
A D: I have gone to the Mary Pack Arthritis Centre for Physiotherapy, off and on, for years and have always felt better for it. My most recent treatment has been with Jacek Kobza and he is by far the best physiotherapist I have ever worked with. He not only treats your symptoms, he also teaches you how to continue working on your symptoms at home. He is thorough and hardworking and I recommend him to anyone; he will help you feel better (as long as you do the work as well)!
Eva Laflamme
Eva Laflamme: Jack Kobza is my physiotherapist and in a few weeks, has helped me make significant improvements with my Ankylosing Spondylitis. He believes in teaching his patients to treat themselves through exercises and posture, which I agree is the most effective method. He takes his job seriously, but he's also a great guy :)
