Pacific Sands: what do users think?
M Cooper: I agree with the other posters that this is a very poorly managed building. The washers and dryers are very old so your laundry isn't washed properly and it'snever completely dried. It's also expensive. The soundproofing isn't great so you can hear your neighbours above you and beside you. Great location.
Gary Bautista: We would like to thank Jason from the front gate to have given us the wonderful experience we had in your hotel! The views are breathtaking and the surrounding areas are very well maintained. We will be back next time!
Lindsey Marie Lovely: Poorly managed building. Good location.
Penny Doll: Ugh, Ofelia is the worst!!! Horrible management!! Don't fall for it the way you'd probably fall down the stairs after waiting way too long for the elevator because 1 out of 2 elevators is always perpetually out of order! T_T

Metropolitan Towers: what do users think?
Anna Krymskaia: The apartments we lived in were really the best in my life. Spacious, light, with huge windows from ceiling to floor, and a tremendous view on downtown Vancouver and the mountains nearby. We had a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom + flex apartments. More than that we had an unbelievably big and beautiful terrace where we had rest after working days with a glass of wine and sometimes threw parties with friends. I am very thankful to all Quadreal staff for their support and quick response to every little question we had. When I had a problem with my dishwasher it was repaired the same day!!! We also rented a parking slot, a bicycle room and a parking lot. It was not that expensive but very convenient. I’m really sorry we have to move out of these apartments, but our time in Canada goes to an end as we are moving to US. If we stayed longer in Vancouver I would definitely keep these apartments.
Muffin LeFallen: Dragan is such a nice man. He works quickly and efficiently.
Fernando Benza: Amazing place to live in, but what really made it amazing was the Staff!
Dulce Ramirez: Metrotown area is a very well known place because how huge it is with the mall but also so many places around here. For example, there's a Walmart, a couple of restaurants around, some walk in clinics, food stores and the sports complex which is known as Bonsor recreation complex.Another very significant point of metrotown is the business area which is called the "metro towers", that are 3 buildings with around 50-60 stories each and you can find here services mainly from law firms and migration stuff as well. This last area is in front of the skytrain and a nice spot for taking pictures. During the summer, a good thing to do is going to sit at the food area from outside the mall, eat some chipotle food and walk around the metro towers. The green area where the fountain is, is a good spot just to sit over, relax, it might not be much for some but you definitely can get some good photos from around and behind, close to the bonsor recreation complex. And next to this last one, there's a spot for skaters and a soccer field surrounded by apartment buildings. In case you want to do some exercise, you are going to enjoy it too.
Olivia: Been living here for almost two years now, and can’t imagine living anywhere else! Special shoutout to the maintenance extraordinaire, Dragan, and the entire Quadreal team for making the building a peaceful, positive, quiet, clean, and welcoming place to live. As a property manager myself (completely unaffiliated with Quadreal, I might add), I can confidently say that this is one of the best purpose-built rentals you’ll find. 10/10.
Cindy Liu: I don’t really write reviews but I have the urge write one for metropolitan towers! Great building, location, amenities and more than great management team! I would totally say my Vancouver life wouldn’t be as lovely without living at metropolitan towers!
Iulia Munteanu: Would gladly recommend this building to those who have the budget for the area this building is situated in. The amenities and suites are very modern and the on-site staff is stellar.
Guilherme Lindner: I never had any problems in my apartment, the Metropolitan Towers team is always ready to help and answer questions. I strongly recommend them!
Leah Whalen: So organized! A friendly welcome and quick signing of papers on a stressful moving day :)
Jade Ornelas: The lease process was fast and easy
Marcus Karpoff: One of the best rental experiences I've ever had. Great management, clean facilities, maintenance is fast and effective.
Atlas: There are few years I call this place as home. I actually love everything of the building and I'll say they have very good securities in Vancouver downtown. I'm giving 3 stars due to a woman called Ivanka. All people from management team is polite, nice and gentle except this Ivanka. I don't know if there's anyone from leadership team related to her, and I won't be surprise if that is true, since Ivanka is so unprofessional but still stuck here for a lot of years, clearly those guys allowing and agreeing with her to treat tenants like her prisoners.Ivanka is very emotional, not flexible, hard to communicate, shows no respect to people and prefers to judging everyone, plus she take all common utilities and rooms as her own treasure instead of tenants resources. All my friends living in this building hate her and try not to deal with her.My company is keep hiring new people to Van, I would like to refer all of them into this building as long as I heard Ivanka is not in the office anymore.
pradeep kumar d: The Staff and the processes are very trustworthy. I feel safe in here and the people are awesome!!
Christy Pratt: I lived at Metropolitan Towers for close to 15 years, first in the A tower and then in B. It is an extremely well-managed building, and the management, leasing and security staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this building for anyone who is looking to make it their next home. You won't be disappointed.
S H: Every one of the QuadReal team that I had dealt with, from leasing to operations/management and security, have been so fantastic to deal with! I was so impressed with how knowledgeable, thorough, helpful and accommodating everyone has been to ensure my move in was flawless!
Jonathan Yao: We lived here just over three and a half years. Our experience at Metropolitan Towers has been excellent throughout.Everything from payment options and package systems are streamlined and modern. Building managers are quick and responsive and maintenance issues are usually addressed within minutes. The only downsides are associated with typical downtown living - the neighborhood can be noisy, and the cost-to-space ratio isn't for everyone. That said, it's still the perfect location if you're looking for somewhere that's high-energy and incredibly convenient. The only reason we're moving away is that we need a much bigger space for our new baby, otherwise we would happily stay longer. Highly recommended Metropolitan Towers as a great rental option.
Rob Hoff: Excellent display of environmental consciousness. Lots of stores to choose from something for everyone
Sheila Matano: I've been living at Metropolitan Towers since 2018. I would have stayed but unfortunately have to move to another province. My experience has been wonderful staying here. From my initial contact with the Teams at the leasing and management offices, the customer service has been excellent. They have gone above and beyond for me, and I couldn't have asked for more. I have never had an issue here where I wasn't heard; any problems in my apartment have been dealt with almost immediately. They are that fast! Just yesterday, I had an issue with a beeping smoke detector and a problem with the microwave handle, I put in the request at 8am, and it was fixed by 10am.We know that downtown has been a bit of a mess during the pandemic, but I've never felt in danger living here. Although there have been some break-ins in the building, I feel pretty safe as a single woman living in this building. The security guards are great folks and have looked out for me, especially when it's late. They do their best. There are many pros. My apartment is relatively large compared to other buildings in this price range, and there's a Starbucks and grocery store downstairs. The amenities in the building are also excellent; the gym is pretty decent, there's a lovely cinema, social lounge, and study. Honestly, we've been in a pandemic for the last couple of years, and this Team has done the best they can. And I have genuinely loved living here.
Lori Forrest: We lived there for almost 8 years and probably would have stayed if they would have ripped out the carpets. It's a rental - it's exactly what you think. Elevators were out enough to annoy. The on-site staff were nice. Neighborhood went downhill during and after COVID.
Vienna Page: This apartment was a terrible experience for my sister. The apartment management treated her poorly. I do not suggest registering to that apartment. This apartment is very unprofessional for treating their costumers badly.
Angel Wong: Rented in this apartment building for one year. When moving out, a room inspection was required. I was charged 400 dollars for dusty blinds that had been wiped down one week prior. Was gaslit during the situation. Was told that if I argued with the charge, the inspector threatened to do a more “thorough” inspection and was sure she would find other things to charge me on. She told me that she was already being nice about the whole situation.

Jimmy Quach: I had the pleasure of living in this beautiful boutique building in Yaletown for a year. The management team is truly professional and easy to deal with. The care that the staff put in really shows through the building’s cleanliness and their smiles. If you ever had any problems, you knew that someone would deal with it as soon as they can.Things I enjoyed about the building/my unit:- newly renovated gym- quiet outdoor bbq area- nice views of BC Place, False Creek- QuadReal connect mobile app for payments, service requests, community bulletin, etc.
Eric Baar: Quite possibly the best management I’ve ever dealt with during an apartment rental. All the staff, caretakers and security were extremely helpful, kind, and professional. Lived here for about a year and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one.

Wesley Place: what do users think?
Martin Morberg: Building management is great! Helpful, timely, and easy to talk to. Location is very central, convenient and close to almost everything. The building manager is super friendly and very responsive. Highly recommend Wesley Place. I feel safe and secure with security on site in the evenings and FOB's needed at the outside doors and elevators. Building is always clean and well maintained. I've been here almost a year now.
Zoltán Sári: Krysta, the new property manager, makes living at Wesley Place hell.
John Doe: Wesley Place was a comfortable place to call home under the management of Cheryl Hennig. She was professional, did her job diligently and cared about the quality of her work. Unfortunately, with the arrival of the new property manager, Krysta Buchanan, Wesley Place has become a very hostile place. Ongoing disturbing noise of building construction, ongoing problems with the quality of water, ongoing issues regarding the safety of tenants, ignored complaints and harrasment. If you would like to be treated professionally and respectfully, try not to move into this building under its current property manager.
Akshay Awasthi: I moved into Wesley Place earlier this year and my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The units are renovated with everything you could ask for and the location is unbeatable, the views aren’t half bad either. What really makes it is a five star experience, however, is the people who run the place. The leasing, management, and maintenance teams (Frances, Krysta, Shawn, Tammy & others) are some of the most genuine and helpful people I’ve met - they are very responsive and try to their best to ensure a seamless experience for residents (thank you!). The building is very well maintained and management tries to inform residents ahead of time about the renovation/ construction/ maintenance schedules. All in all - great units, amazing location, and good people; I highly recommend Wesley Place for anyone considering a rental in DT!
Vova Pytsyuk: I had a very bad experience with moving in there. I was going to move into a new apartment on Sunday, but couldn't get a money order for the full amount of rent (because it was Sunday and everything was closed) and I couldn't pay on their website because it didn't work. They showed no flexibility and didn’t even allow me to leave my luggage, I spent an additional $100 for AirBnb apartment and wasted a few hours of my time. However, I haven’t lived there yet and this review is only about moving in.
Courtney Udall: There has been construction going on both below and in units above my apartment every day for over a month and is expected to last at least another 6 weeks. This is not limited to jackhammering, floor installation and drywall installation. I was not warned of this construction when I moved in and I know it is happening in many other unit throughout the property as they eventually renovate the whole building. I would caution yourself before moving in here as it is extremely disruptive (sometimes to the point of the walls shaking during jackhammering) unless you are always gone from 9-5. Though the building management team has tried to be quite accommodating and are very nice - it doesn't make up for this being a very inhospitable to live.
nino battaglia: I have to give Wesley Place apartments a full 5 star rating. Yes the building is amazing, clean and well maintained, But it is much more than that. Its the management / staff that has given me comfort in the safety of the residence that reside there . Krysta and Frances are both the most professional helpful people I have ever come across. They went above and beyond to help get settled into the new apartment. We came from Ontario not knowing Vancouver at all, the area, let alone the apartment until we arrived. Its a fantastic location, within walking distance to everything one needs. From the time we arrived to the time I left, staff were right by our sides making sure we got settled in , had everything we needed and assisted us right away without hesitation. By the time I left, I felt comfort in the fact that the management/ staff are always there to assist, they are professional and beyond helpful to the residence of the building. I know it is a safe and wonderful place to live. Thank you Frances and Krysta. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to you wonderful women and what you did for us. Exceptional, professional and caring . A home away from home.Cathy Battaglia
Divya Socro: I am in love with my apartment! The management is extremely responsive and helpful (one of the reasons I chose this) The view from my apartment is absolutely great! The units are newly renovated and finishes are good. I would have give it a 5 star rating if they had a gym when I moved in.
Monica Han: I am not a tenant, but I just wanted to leave an awesome review for the lady who had immense patience with my mistake and her kindness.
Tommi Szonyi: The apartments are fully renovated, building nice and clean. The property manager, and her staff are awesome, you can feel you are at home in the building.

Level Vancouver Yaletown - Seymour: what do users think?
Epic Sniper: The gym is insanely good!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Liv: Walkability: Right in the center, skytrain about a 10-15 min walk away. Grocery store next door.
Dom Giroux: Very comfortable and the central location is super convenient. The front desk staff were always really helpful and accommodating. Any time we needed something fixed or checked someone would arrive within minutes. Level Yaletown was our temp home away from home.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aaron Wang: 室內有數個插座方便3C產品充電. 房間採光充足, 包含客廳與臥房. P1有寬敞的健身房. 大廳接待人員待人親切.
Emeelio M: As this being my first stay in a hotel in a long while, I can say that it was quite good. My room was spacious and had a nice view. It was also very clean. I had plenty of shelving and space for my stuff and could not on my part find any faults with any of the appliances, tv, etc. Staff were competent at their work, as well as friendly and professional. I would definitely stay here again.
Aleksandr Makalov: Отличные номера, вид из окна, и бассейн с подогревом
J Gray: This is not a Diamond Member Property.....$5000.00 CANEnjoy the show!
Eric M.: Pros: Clean nice rooms. Very comfortable with full kitchens.Cons: appliances not working well. The refrigerator started beeping in the middle of the night, I had to unlpug it. Same with phone, started beeping and had to unplug it. The TV channels never worked right either. The channels were "audio only".Otherwise it was fine. I would stay here again.
Alfie Knoakes1: Good location in central Vancouver. Very close to the Yaletown restaurants and bars, the shopping district, and Stanley Park. Easy to access by car as you can park right outside the rear entrance in the side street to unload your luggage, and then park your car in the underground car park. We had a ground-floor one-bed apartment, and it was probably the most depressing place I've stayed. Dark wooden floors and poor lighting made the apartment feel dingy, plus the cheap/basic furnishings, minor repairs unattended, etc, made this not a nice place to stay. We were glad to leave.
Kate: We had such a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean. You also can't beat the location!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kayley Crowshaw: Really enjoy this hotel! Only complaint are the check in/check out times. 4pm to check in is quite late, and 10am check out is quite early. Wish their check in/out times were more in line with other hotels. Other than that, we love the rooftop pool & hot tub. The gym & the location are great, too!
Eduardo Velarde Polar: Amazing hotel. Great rooms, amenities and very friendly staff. Moreover, great location, close to stores and restaurants. Definitely loved my visit hereRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Andrew Percy: Room is nice, front desk and cleaning staff are wonderfully professional, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the 20-storey building has only two elevators to begin with, one of which has broken down twice in July 2022 which makes getting home a massive headache and inconvenience, and waste of my time. Not ideal for guests staying on business when you have to contend with growing crowds at the parking and lobby levels waiting for the privilege to possibly squeeze into the lift.
Trisha Roy: Harry and Ben. Please give them a raise they are doing a great job! Overall I loved staying here just felt like home❤️Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sabrina S: Staying at Seymour’s Level Hotel was a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making sure that all my requests were fulfilled efficiently. From housekeeping to simple printing requests, all was done fast and accordingly. A special thank you to Ben at reception for his exceptionally professional and friendly service.
Bruce Wayne: Absolutely fantastic month long stay at Level Seymour! Great, safe location just a few blocks from the heart of Yaletown with all shops and restaurants within easy reach. The staff is wonderful and the unit itself was spacious, clean, modern, and had a fantastic view of the city. From the booking with Ivan and Kourtney, to the actual front desk staff of Sarah and Ben -- the service was excellent. The only two things I would improve: 1) the refrigerator which seemed to only keep the bottom half cold (despite engineers coming in to take a look a couple times) and 2) the wifi was often slow during peak hours dropping down to less than 2 Mbps up and down which makes zoom tough (plugged hardwire into the ethernet and that solved the issue). All in all though - highly recommended! Would certainly stay here again the next time I'm in Vancouver.
Jamie Devlin: We stayed in Level Vancouver twice, in Feb and March 2022 as part of a trip to Canada. Our stay massively exceeded our expectations, which were high! The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and with great amenities - especially: washer and separate drier, fully specced kitchen, on-site gym and on-side parking. The gym in particular is a cut above what you normally get in hotels and apartments complexes - it’s spacious, with great equipment including spin bikes and rowing machines. It also has a sauna. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful e.g. if we needed more coffee pods they would bring it straight up.Staying at levels was so much better than getting an anonymous hotel room - it really felt like having our own swanky apartment right in the heart of Vancouver.Would recommend to anyone.

Shoreline West End: what do users think?
Salar Manoucherian: Visited for rental viewing, outrageous price, as well as filthy and smelly units. Would not recommend
Payam Zaker Shahrak: Jina Chai truly makes the experience of wanting to rent a place amazing. Her level of support, consideration, and service is on a different level!
Tylor Lee: Okay, I should have read this review first.I had the same experience as below many people had.I provided all documents which contains very sensitive information. The final decision has made and it took 6 days. I lost other opportunities. I totally wasted my time.I was feeling like I am applying to a job. The process like below:1. Sent all support document2. They showed me the unit3. In person interview requested and said 'I like your application' ??4. Rejected my applicationI am making 6 digit salary and have great references.I had proven my 150K+ cash balance bank state. What else should I be better to be your tenant?Never felt like this desperation. I feel ashamed.I should say the same thing."Do not waste your time and find better place."
James Bailey: Have lived at Shoreline for 18 months now and my experience has been first class from day one. The apartments, views, facilities and location are all excellent. Never had any problems with management, maintenance or neighbours. Seems like most of the negative reviews here are to do with the application process rather than the place …
Tanya Kunwar: Probably the worst company I’ve applied for a rental with. After calling and emailing non-stop, I finally got a hold of someone named Alisa and I explained that I was moving to Vancouver for a new job. Alisa asked me to submit many documents and an application. They ask for a LOT, such as bank statements, proof of income, pay stubs, credit check, IDs. I had never been asked bank statement before as it has a lot of my private information but I did as I was asked. I had good credit, work for BC Government with a permanent job, have good employment and landlord references and I even said I had a guarantor if they were hesitant on a lease. Emails of mine kept being ignored and I didn’t even know if they were processing my application. Today I finally received an email from Jina saying that they are going with other candidates due to “volume of applications”. Not sure what that even means since I applied as soon as the ad was posted. Extremely frustrated with this company and would not recommend it to anyone.
Carolina B.: DO NOT RENT HERE! This is going to be a long review but bare with me. I’ve been a tenant at shoreline since they opened, and I was the first one living in my unit. Management was great until I signed the lease. They changed management at least 3 times during my years living there, and sure the new one is more responsive, but just as bad as the other ones. My last place I rented for 6+ years and never in my life had such a bad experience when renting a place like I had it here.- Management are greedy and will do anything to charge you more. They’ll mention things as included before you sign the lease then deny it after you signed it and charge you.- Rent is extremely inflated - the only thing good about the building is the location. They claim because the building is concrete it’s very good at soundproofing but you can hear absolutely everything from your neighbors (from walking to intimate night noises). Also worth mentioning some things were poorly installed, such as the kitchen sink which fell by itself once.- Fire alarm goes off AT LEAST 1-2 times a month (some other months it went off once a week)- Management will only answer when they want to. Most of the time they’ll ignore.Other incidents:- Maintenance opening my unit while I was in it without permission or notice while I was on the couch in pajamas- Management denying my visitor which resulted in me having to contact the tenancy branch while I was traveling abroad- Lack of respect during inspections, had someone completely messing up my apartment and just leaving it like that (photos to prove it)- Management changed paying platform without notice while I was out of the country and Wouldn’t accept any other form of payment unless in person even though they were the ones that never communicated the changePlease reconsider your decision when thinking of renting here - save yourself the stress.PS: I’ll make more edits once I move out officially on august 31 as I’ve seen other reviews that say they made it extremely hard to move out.
Pearie: I’ve living for 7 months now. The maintenance is great! Whenever I call or send an email they come to fix right away. The apartment is very clean as well.
Reza Soltani: I’ve been living here for 1.5 years and I recommend it. The location is perfect and the management is great!
Lauryne Hartman: I was moving to Vancouver and really wanted to live at Shoreline. I had contacted them numerous times and after finally getting in touch with someone they told me to submit an application. I did that, sent bank statements, proof of income, a letter from my job, everything they asked. I was sent a video of one apartment and fell in love and said yes, I will take it. They said they needed to review my application and I said I could send a deposit right away and first months rent….and that’s the last I heard from there. No one EVER got back to me. I left multiple messages, texts, emails and nothing. Anytime I call, no one answers and voicemail is full. It’s very unfortunate because this place is a great location and beautiful but management doesn’t seem to want to help potential tenants. I have 2 stars because at least o was sent a video of the rental unit.
Parvin Alizadeh: Great apartments with beautiful view and helpful staff.
Dru: Management responds quickly up until you sign the lease. Haven't heard back about any of my questions or requests since then. I haven't moved in yet, and I already regret it. Pretty sure management conned me to rent a more expensive unit, too.EDIT: The management has changed, and the responses are a lot quicker than before. In terms of management, I don't have much complaint anymore. So I'm changing my overall rating from 1 star to 3 stars. However, I think some things people should know about before renting are:Every month without fail the fire alarm is triggered without notice. I'm not sure of this is policy or the fault of residents, but it does occur every month.Windows are poorly installed, and they constantly crackle/pop in the morning due to temperature changes.Using your oven automatically triggers your in-unit fire alarm. It's pretty common to hear other tenants' alarms going off in the evening.Overall, the units are kind of stuffy, and the building automatically turns on unit fans for several hours each day. The downside is that they're pretty noisy, but it's almost necessary (especially in the winter time) to prevent water damage from the window.EDIT 2: Just moved out and was hit with ridiculous cleaning fees. Thought management was better but I quote "Your sink is clean, but it's not shining!".Among the issues that incurred a $185 fee:-back of toilet dusty-small nickel-sized patch of discoloration on top of glass stove-"dirty" floors that looked that way when I moved inNothing damaged. Rent elsewhere!
Thomas Ricks: If I could rate it zero star, I would. The encounter with the rental real estate agent was so unimpressed. I submitted an application via their online website and added additional document that someone would normally have. Yet they insisted on something that does not really matter much in terms of ability to pay rent. Somehow they requested zoom meeting for no reason to discuss my application (for what???). Never had to have a meeting to rent an apartment in my live. Multiple agents replying my email and requests yet, no one seems to know what they are doing.I can already tell the management will be very bad when they are disorganised. At the end, they came back to me saying it is a bit early for the intended move in date, check later. And this wasted me 3 weeks back and forth. The location and building might seem nice but honestly, if the management is bad, I wouldn't bother.
Sarthak Bhat: I have been living in this apartment for 2 months now and below is a list of pros and cons to consider before moving .PROS:* Spacious apartment* Attached to Denman mall which makes it very convenient.* Excellent turn around time for maintenance requests.CONS:* No concierge service* Unit does not come with microwave* Not enough storage space in the unit
It's a Thing Imagery (Sergej Krivenko): So far, moving in to the Shoreline West End apartments at the beginning of July, I've had a great experience. Back when I was shopping around for an apartment to move into, Patrick was super helpful and accommodating for viewing times and answered any questions I had without hesitation - I felt like I was in good hands here, on top of how nice the apartment was that I'm now living in.When it came to moving in, I had a specific date and times my movers were able to move or else I might not have received my stuff for weeks (government move), and I was given the information rather late into the game. Patrick bent over backwards to find me a spot on one of their busiest days of the year, securing a time and an extra elevator, and made for a rather effortless move-in.After living here for half a month, I can still reach out to Patrick and the rest of the management team without worry, and they're always very responsive. They're professional, knowledgeable, and you can tell they enjoy what they're doing! The maintenance staff are also quick to respond to anything that needs fixing. I had a few small things to look into when I moved in and they were done within the hour. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience at the Shoreline West End!
Ankit Khare: I moved here last November and I can't think of any cons. With Denman Mall downstairs, its super convenient. Building is super clean and apartments are big and with a lot of ventilation. Management is very professional and helpful. English bay is 3-4 minutes walk and 5-10 minutes walk to Stanley Park. Good safe location with lots of restaurants nearby. I highly recommend shoreline west end to anyone who's relocating to West End/Downtown area.
Gigi Gereltod: I got the call from their rental office manager ,last Saturday, she was so rude , arrogant and unprofessional, even she didn’t read the application properly and she asked me an another number of my recent landlord , 2 different numbers on my application already!!!But she didn’t check the application. And she requested a bank statement, feeling insecure and stressed.Be kind .Be professional .Be helpful . during this difficult time !
Hannah Isachsen: Extremely unprofessional, such a goose chase trying to get into contact with the manager. Very sweet lady who works in the office though.
David Marsden: The management are very new at building management it would seem. They are very slow at responses, and their replies to emails regarding the building and concerns that arise are very disappointing to say the least. There is a lot of work they need to do to be able to charge the rates they do.The building is very well located to the beach and Stanley Park and having No Frills in the building is also very convenient.
Jane D: Misleading and unprofessional company. Beware of management running the building. Not worth the high prices they charge.
A.: Some important information you should know so you're not wasting your time.I moved into this building as soon as they allowed residents to live in here, the building itself is in a great location.... and that's basically all you're paying for. They were super friendly at first and say everything you want to hear about how great their services and the building is, but it's no longer the case once you sign that lease.- They have let all sorts of people rent in this building in the last couple of months due to issues renting the units out, they'll rent to anyone who can afford the rent, this means smokers, noisy inconsiderate neighbors- It is incredibly noisy at all times, traffic from denman and delivery trucks and school if you're facing the backside of the building, also construction, there is always some sort of drilling or hammering going on, i'm aware of at aleast a few instances where multiple tenants have complained, yet it is still ongoing- Complaints on heating issues or i should say, innadequate heating, noisy neighbors and chain smoking in balconies go unknowledged, or they simply reply and don't do anything about it.- In addition to my rent, storage charges, I've since paid this company a few hundred dollars extra on different "fees" aka any extra charges they can think of to squeeze more money out of you- If all you care about is location, then go for it, if you care about your quality of life while paying the preposterous rent prices they charge, then look for better places around the areaI regret signing a lease with them. It's possibly one of the worst buildings i've rented at (despite it being so new , also note: cheap construction) and i've lived in west end for a few years now. 2 stars for location and in suite washer/dryer.

False Creek Residences: what do users think?
Vincent Clerc: Living in the UK, and moving to Vancouver, we have been searching for apartments in the city. False Creek residential agency’s representative, Irene, has been an absolute asset for us. Answering our questions in minutes, allowing us to visit, albeit virtually, the apartments! Highly recommend!
Daniela A. Oshikawa: Leasing agent is not very welcoming and friendly. Hardly read your emails attentively. It is pity because it is a good location and I was interested. After the first impression is done, it is hard to imagine that it will get any better than this. If the leasing office does such a poor job and it is supposed to be the most friendly one. If it is a one person thing I would highly suggest to improve customer service. I don’t want anything from your company, it is just about an honest review so people know what to expect.

Dunowen Properties: what do users think?
jacqueline liew: This is by far the worst check out experience I hv with a short term stay. The cleaner threw away my baby’s pillow I’ve kept for more than 30yrs I hand down to my son which I left behind on checkout. They did not even have the courtesy to ask. A few days later, I notice I was missing another 2items. So I asked if they saw it. And the staff kept it without telling me! And refused to answer me when I ask if I have other things I left behind.Worst part is the Manager Michael did not apologize or think it was wrong to have threw away or kept tenant’s belonging without informing. A company you can’t trust.
Colette File: The apartment was perfect, well equipped and the location was perfect. Karel and Gabriela were professional, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend Dunowen Properties and will definitely will use them again. The sunrise from the apartment was spectacular.
Brygida Melisa: We had been renting properties with Dunowen for a while now - different location and time of year .We had never encountered any but professional and flawless service .The rental properties are always in a great locationAlways super clean and comfortable. They are fully furnished and new linens , towels and kitchen supplies.Wonderful job and highly recommend.
Faisal Mohd Qasem: Dunowen Properties is an excellent company that provides furnished apartments for rent in Vancouver both short and long term. I’ve known Karel Hardiawan for 4+ years now. He’ll go above and beyond to ensure your apartment needs are met. He is extremely professional, kind, charismatic, cheerful, always available, very quick to respond and act when I have questions and concerns.Overall great team. They are organized, efficient and reliable. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Veller: Absolutely happy with the apartment and the management company staff. We were looking for a place to leave in for 2 months, close to all the key places (banks, government & business offices, and of course a beautiful Stanley Park) and found this not huge but very comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Being stressed out after a very long trip we were glad to see there was everything needed for a life - a well-equipped kitchen, both bathrooms and bedrooms. More than what you get in any hotel. And there is a nice little residential garden that you get access to from the 2nd floor as a resident. The only possible negative to living in the downtown is the big city noise.Thank you, Karel and David!
Marie-Josee Michaud: The booking process went smootly and the service was impeccable and very friendly. The unit was clean and perfectly located. I would highly recommend their assistance to people who be needing accommodation in Vancouver. Special thanks to Karel from Dunowen who warmly welcomed me in Vancouver!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kelly Schrump: The staff at Dunowen are very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to deal with. We love working with Karel, as he is prompt in his responses, and always very friendly
Shawn Roberts: I'm writing this review on behalf of my Father, who recently rented asuite at 555 Jervis Street, in Vancouver. He truly enjoyed his 4-monthstay, and was very comfortable and quite pleased with the cleanliness and provided amenities . He really appreciated the indoor pool and gym, and was able to greatly improve his fitness level and overall well-being. As we were checking out, he said that he would really miss the fantastic view from his 10th floor living room window, which featured the North Shore mountains, Coal Harbour, and the Seawall. We also found the Staff at Dunowen Properties very friendly, professional, and quite easy to deal with. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wishing to visit Vancouver for vacations and extended stays.Sincerely,Shawn Roberts
CAROLA COMPA: Very reliable Real state ! The photos of the apartment match the real appartment. We could count on them with all our needs in the appartment and made our stay the best experience ever. They were for us Everytime we need something with a positive response. Since we were new in town, sometimes the questions were beyong the appartment issues, and they were a very helpful allways !
Jeayoun Kim: I had a great time in Vancouver.I stayed two months at the condo on the 1200 alberni street. The place was very spacious for three and clean. It was very near to Robson st. so easy to enjoy restaurants and shops there. And also it's near to Coal hobour so good to see the sea in Vancouver.Especially people in this company were very nice and helpful. Thank you to Karel.Lastly I received deposits 100%.I already recommended this rent company to Korean internet cafe(hello vancouver). If I go back to Vancouver, I definitely will stay here again.Thank you again I really enjoyed there with my children.
C Matthew: Fantastic stay!!!We loved EVERYTHING! Beautiful apartment in a perfect location Downtown. Seconds away from Robson street, which has restaurants, shops, amenities surrounding it. Close to public transport, and best of all it is within walking distance to Stanley Park. The views from the apartment are also fantastic with Coal Harbour and the mountains all within eye shot. The apartment is very clean and has facilities to allow you to cook if you wish. The landlord has been the best, very helpful and accommodating to all our needs. We arrived later than expected and he waited to show us around the apartment and made sure we had a map and answered all our questions. We would highly recommend for anyone planning to visit Vancouver to stay here. Fantastic all round, so pleased we chose the apartment.
K Daswani: Very unprofessional and dishonest company. They 'forgot' to refund me my security deposit which was quite a large sum, and in addition they held back a service/processing fee for the deposit, instead of refunding the full amount. I don't know of any other company which has taken a security deposit and not refunded the full amount.
ya little: Space is not really big but all the facilities are good:)
Fran Duerksen: We rented an apartment downtown Vancouver for a month this past winter. It was such an enjoyable experience for us - we were in walking distance of all the amenities - the apartment had a washer/dryer/dishwasher - just like a home away from home. We will definitely do this again in the coming year!
حنان نايته: قريب من المطاعم والبحر
Atul Sali: I have never seen some one lie to such a great extent. Same person Justin has multiples properties and does lie to each new customer. I was quoted 3200$ my wife was sent a quote of 2695$ and my friend was sent a deal of 2495$. Even after asking for low cost property he did not show any low cost place. After that also I needed a rental place (my wife being pregnant) and had no choice so took 2495$ deal. They charged me 2.75% for credit card processing fees (never heard of it in Canada). Lifts do not work, garbage shoot does not work, pool non usable and paid for high speed internet and that also does not work at high speed. Sent text and no response. Also they are asking me 30 day notice for a month on month deal. Senseless deal.

Rent At Porter: what do users think?
Juan Luis López Vejarano: Been living here for over two months and everything has been great, Horacio, the manager is always helpful when you need him and is constantly checking everything is O.K. Also, its a couple blocks away of the trout lake Community Centre, which is always full of activities and has a decent gym.Very happy living here.
Chris Ferreira: It was a great experience living at Porter, I rented a studio on the 5th floor facing the mountains. Wonderful view, the studio has a great layout, more than enough storage space, kinda new appliances, and great location. The Skytrain is almost in front of the windows so it is a little bit noise, however the apartment is a little bit sound proof so you get use to that. I would definitely give 5 stars if there is no skytrain noise. Pet friendly, people friendly. Great management team, we received all the support when we needed, also when we were leaving.
Seán Conroy: Been here for a year now, so felt fitting to give my experiences here.I'm super grateful that I managed to stay here. I really like the unit that I'm in and any issues that have come up (only minor maintenance or pest-related) were dealt with in a swift and timely matter. The complex itself is also situated in a great area; plenty of nearby amenities.Would recommend!
Denise Patouille: When moving in and doing the walk through with the manager, note every minor scratch or dent in the apartment. Also make sure to check the form to ensure that the damage you mentioned has indeed been written down. If you notice anything later, take pictures and send them to the manager. The manager will be very casual in the initial walk through. They will easily wave off damages and say they don't worry about that sort of thing. It will be very different when you do the walk-through when you leave. You will be charged for even the tiniest mark.In order not to forfeit your deposit or a large portion of it take strong charge of your walk through. Take pictures when you enter and take pictures when you leave. You may have to go to arbitration to get your deposit back but it's an easy process. The Residential Tenancy Branch is reasonable and unless you truly damaged the place beyond normal wear and tear or created a mess beyond the normal accumulation of household dirt, the arbitrator will rule in your favour.
Steve Croan: Small but well built apartments. One of the few newer buildings that is dog friendly
Jay Pardy: I love living here. My only gripe is that pesky Skytrain line; it's so close! Nothing anyone can do about that, though.
Alexander Sutton: Lived here for a year and it was always clean and safe. Ray is the best building manager, always quick to help!
Joseph G Rzeplinski: Outstanding building manager Ray
Tessa Bohn: Love living here. Super awesome building manager.
Ahmed Saleh: Informative and honest landlord as it would seem for my visits

Carmen Manor: what do users think?
C S: The building Manager Lana, is one of the most polite lady I've met while searching for an apartment. She and her husband work very hard to keep the building clean. Very family oriented couple. The building location is very central and reasonable compared to the apartments around the area.
Daniel Hall: I was a resident of Carmen Manor for six years (until November 2015) and enjoyed my time there. The location is excellent: a five-minute walk from English Bay and literally one minute from Safeway. The rental rates are also very reasonable, especially considering the desirable location. The building was upgraded in 2014 with new elevators and modern balconies. The resident building managers, Svetlana and her husband, work hard to keep the property in good condition and I always found them to be friendly and approachable!
Chris Fortais: Friendly management, awesome location and reasonable rent.
Rahul Sansoya: The manager hardly speaks English and doesn't understand even a single word. When my friend had to rent the available apartment she said it's not available and hung up the phone while it was evident from company's website they did had a listing ! She is bribing money to rent ! I hope there was a Canadian manager!!
