Pacific Lung Health Centre: what do users think?
Jules Ng: I've been a patient of Dr. Dorscheid for years and I would say that he's probably one of the best specialists I've seen, and I've seen plenty. He has great bedside manner, super informative and not to mention, he's also funny.
Mohammad NVG: I strongly believe this is the best clinic in this hospital. Receiptionists are beyond perfect, Doctors are beyond smart. Very very helpful and undrestanding people. The residents and fellows could be a little better.
Krys: I was trying to confirm if I had been to this center some years ago and the receptionist refused to give me any information. She told me to call the health records department, to which I informed her that they were the ones that had transferred me to her. All I was asking for was for her to look up my PHN and confirm for me I had seen a doctor here and if it stated what it had been for. She could hardly speak English (I don't understand how she was hired if she can't speak the necessary language one needs to speak in Canada - ESPECIALLY when it comes to something as important as health care) and continued to refuse to help me. She snapped at me in terribly broken English "WHAT U WANT", to which I repeated for the 10th time that I needed her to look up my PHN. She finally did so, but with more attitude than a pmsing 15 year old. Through this ordeal, I'd asked to speak to "any other receptionist" (which, in Canada, she is legally entitled to do), and refused.I ended up being a patient when I'd thought I was, and despite not having a hellish experience when I was present those years ago for my appointments, such experiences (especially for people whom are ill, suffering, and/or chronicly ill- this is the worst possible treatment anyone could ever ask for). Please hire people that know how to speak English. Please hire people that don't abuse individuals for asking them to do their jobs. Why are you paying individuals who do anything other than the aforementioned.
gail huzel: I have had nothing but good experiences with the Lung Clinic at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver. Be prepared to wait for your x-ray - and get to X-RAY really early if you are booked into other follow up appointments at the hospital that day.The staff are very helpful and in my case, jumped me ahead a bit in the lineup because I was so worried about making my next hospital appointment. I don't know whether it really made a difference in the line-up but it did make me less stressed.I have been going to this clinic for twice a year evaluation and treatment for four years and would like to thank the wonderful clinic staff and Dr. Pearce Wilcox for the care I have, and continue, to receive.
LOUIS APPLE: Had a great time there under the circumstances
Kayla L: My dad has a serious health concern and was told to get a blood test asap. But he was given the wrong name on his blood test form. The name was no where close to his and was a female name and much younger than him. The doctor was over a half an hour late. This is bullshit coming from an institution that should know better. So unprofessional.

Atrial Fibrillation Clinic: what do users think?
Tobias Jesso (Goppy): Great staff, great doctors, good facilities, and knock on wood, my ablation went well and I am more than pleased with the timing of my procedure and St. Paul's hospital. Keep up the excellent healthcare.
Peter Kingma: All the staff here including reception , nursing and doctors are caring and respectful. They take all the time required to patiently answer all questions and concerns. I always feel better emotionally after connecting with them. They continue to be a big support in my ongoing battle with afib.
Bill Donaldson: I have a pacemaker and defibrillator and have been dealing with this clinic for 10 years on a regular basis. They are wonderful and explain everything needed to know. I have had two doctors and both have been excellent.
Deborah Armstrong: My husband has had to come to St Paul's six times now. We are always impressed with the staff and the facilities. My husband is treated respectfully and with kindness. While the unit is very busy and a patient loses their power once they enter the hospital, the AF Clinic and the Short Stay Cardiac Unit staff work hard to offset this. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Vancouver General Hospital: what do users think?
Jessica: I came in for a CT and found the two information desk staff to be incredibly rude when asked for directions and a face mask. I know health care workers are overworked and we are grateful for your service but.. Isn't the point of an information desk to provide information?
Assefa kebede: Excellent
David Jolivet: Easy to get around and nice staff.
Peter Clark: Busy
Ron Gallant: Easy to get around no stress
Marshall Miller: Great people 👏 👍 👌 fast service people are beautiful there 👏 may God bless them 🙏 they know what they are doing ty very much 😀 for all ur help I appreciate it
kathryn stewart: The medical teams at VGH are the best you can get. The care and attention they gave my son after his accident was top notch. We are forever grateful 🙏
Kevin Strome: I am currently in right now with an abscess in my throat and it has cause me a lot of pain and it’s been very hard to swallow I want to thank the nursing staff her for being very kind and very helpful and intuitive ion helping me figure out every way possible to take my pain meds SHOUT-OUT TO THE NIGHT STAFF AND DAY-So TAFF
nicole travassos: Clean, friendly staff covid friendly.
Jonine Rochacewich: I recently had ankle surgery, I spent three weeks on the orthopedic/trauma floor. The doctors and nursing staff were wonderful and professional, I know their jobs are especially challenging during Covid-19 and they work very hard. I cannot say the same for the two physiotherapists assigned to me; one was extremely rude with no bedside manner. Also, the hospital was not very clean. I realize the cleanliness could be a result of the hospital being short staffed.
brigitte cavanagh: Everything look fine. I had many small surgeries and 1 bigger, some nurses were not nice....but there is not much i can do about their staff.
Keith Johnstone: Well run. No hot water in some of the public washrooms tho
JOHN SHINNICK: This is a major component of Vancouver General Hospital.
Brenda Sachse: I can't thank the Doctors, Surgeons, and especially the Nursing Staff enough for the amazing work they do!

Vancouver Prostate Centre: what do users think?
Mike B: Dr. Flannigan is great. He's personable, detailed, and patient with explaining care.Unfortunately, I've found arranging appointments difficult. My job involves the public at a moment's notice. While I have regular morning & afternoon breaks, it's impossible to accommodate an hour-long call window. It seems that telehealth has made access to specliasts even more cumbersome.I've ultimately had to go with a different doctor.
Jordan: Horrific . You will learn real fast that your welfare is not of any concern to staff. The outcome and quality of your life is not important but the constant flow of men with prostates to line the pockets of the surgeons is.That the need for bodies for medical students to work on or some study that the Doctors have financial interests in is far more important than youThe whole premise of VPC is not to treat prostate cancer but it is to serve those who profit from it. From the moment you walk in your on the Prostate Conveyor . Your individuality is gone. You are no longer a person but a prostate that can be utilized for profit , teaching and research. They don't tell you that most likely some medical student will be the one actually doing the cutting. You get told their surgeons are the best and their skills are second to none. But no mention of students doing the actual cuttingWhat they really mean is they are a teaching facility and people pay to go through UBC to learn how to pull prostates. That your prostate has some students name on it all ready. The worst of the worst is the Director . Martin Gleave.Do not trust him at all.If you do go there and decide to be treated make sure you take this step.. Read the consent form carefully. In it there will be a little line that says Medical students may take part in your care and treatment or something like that.Cross it out and initial it.. Make sure your are clear that your are to be treated by those who promised they would. There will be push back but don't give in. Stand your ground or you will be sorry the rest of your lifeWhat this allows is for some one in trainee to operate on you. There is no guarantee that your surgeon who promised to do the operation will even stay in the OR.. Just set up the trainee and let them have their way with you. Surgeons prefers to rely on residents to do the grunt work so they can get a fat fee for not getting their hand's dirty. Were as in non teaching facilities the surgeon you signed up for is the surgeon you get. Not some eager resident first time out.I made the dreadful mistake of putting my trust in these people and taking them to be honest.Only on the day of the surgery to find out a brash resident in training was do to the operation. When I went to stop the operation I was assaulted and forced back down on the operating table so I could be used as a teaching tool. Beware ! or better yet go to some other facility if your smart.
Anna K: Dr. Goldenberg himself is a brilliant and caring doctor and helped dad a lot, but the receptionist hung up on my mom mid-conversation when trying to make an appointment for my dad. This happened on August 12, 2019 around 3:30pm. Not cool :(

Vancouver General Hospital: Women's Clinic: what do users think?
Erin Westbury: My doctor sent them a referral. They declined the referral but did not contact my doctor about this decline. I ended up calling the clinic myself to find out it was declined. Have been waiting weeks for a response. Very disappointed and very unprofessional.
Gary Beka: Just always been treated very nice workers are caring never bad experience ....had double lung transplant.nov 29th got out aug 21st have no issues. Go to vgh for testing and workers r great !!!!
Claire M: Great experience at the the clinic for procedures, all nurses I dealt with in person were caring, informative, and efficient. My low rating is due to how I received my results. I have only ever communicated with doctors here via my personal phone number for the last two years. However, they must have an outdated number included on my records somewhere, which is a family member’s number. They called that number, reached a voicemail, and left a message with the full and explicit details of the results of my tests - To the wrong number.I understand that dialling the wrong number happens, but to leave the full details of the results on a voicemail is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. If results are going to be given over the phone, please ensure you are speaking to the patient. This is so upsetting, and a massive violation of my privacy. My hope is that this review can serve as a reminder to anyone at the clinic that needs to hear it, to be much more mindful of how you are delivering results, and to whom.
Dani: Nurses are very friendly and helpful
Fraser Valley Homes Sales: Waiting for over an hour so far.. not even a magazine to be found! Bring something to do while you wait because you wont even find an old newspaper here.
Vikram S: Excellent Hospital and very kind and friendly staff who take care of you in a professional manner.
