Mori: My husband and I absolutely love Jinya. When we lived downtown we went here often and I must say, one of my favorite dishes is the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. So many flavors in this one bowl, it's absolutely amazing and pretty much my go-to dish whenever we go there. If you are downtown doing your shopping, this place is definitely worth a visit when you need to refuel and want a great ambience.
L Man: Tonkotsu Black - it was rich and perfect. Definitely recommend this one.

Zishan Mohiuddin: Please consider boiling your gluten free noodles separately! There are no real gluten free options available at this restaurant due to the cross contamination. Apart from that for those who enjoy vegan or regular ramen, do give this a place a chance and it’s slightly pricey but the quality is there.

Finally when the order was put in; the food quality was subpar at best. I would’ve rather paid $24 for instant ramen than have food here. Frankly the best item on their menu was the coke I order. Absolutely disappointed. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Benkei Ramen Noodle Shop: what do users think?
Aom Hildebrand: Finally we made it! Pretty far from home but we'll, kinda sad that they'll close permanently in a day. We loved all our ramen noodles, so delicious! The girls loved their chicken. Really good and fast service even they were really busy. And thanks to let us in! Many menus i really wanted to try but we can't make it before they close down. Anyway, all the best for the retirement!
L T F: Ramen was okay. Chicken was a bit smelly and couldn’t finish to eat. Most disappointed thing is one young female Japanese staff was talking bad thing about customer and her private thought to her Japanese cot workers in Japanese in front of a customer who understood Japanese. The bad manner staff talk to me Japanese. She supposed to speak English.Too much Japanese in the Ramen restaurant.
Alex: Very good! Ramen consistently delivers and the place is never too busy so you can always get a spot.
mehrzad ebadi: I am not a professional and Romen lover, but this place was awesome dishes had quite a good pricing. I loved the quality. It was my best Ramen that I ever had.Vegetarian options: I ordered red veggie and it was awesome
Saki Gotoh: Food: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Phil Anthon: Very good Ramen the chef's special is definitely a good way to go if you're hungry. I use to live in Japan and this taste just like it!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Kokumiso Ramen …More
Joan Paraiso: This was my favorite ramen place so i ordered through Uber today but was dissappointed bacause the noodle taste raw and so saggy. I think they change the noodle already which is different from the last time. It doesn’t taste good anymore but the soup base is still the same taste though.I hope they will use the same noodle again just like before.
alexrobotify: Our favourite local Ramen spot, always delicious
Selena L: I had the red miso vegan ramen, It was pretty good. Pretty rich and salty. It was a bit too salty for me, but I know most of the time ramen is on the salty end.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
purplepolecat: This is my favorite place in Vancouver for ramen, I've been here a dozen times and it's always great. Try one of the deluxe "chef's special" ramens if you're feeling particularly hungry.Vegetarian options: There are some vegan options
J Guo: Good broth and delicious ramen! Server was friendly but she came with the credit card machine and the bill before I finished my ramen. I was not entirely offended but found it odd and unpleasant.
Kimberly Shortreed: We ordered for delivery. After 2 hours of waiting for it, we picked it up. It was sitting since we ordered it and they refused to remake it and said it was our fault. Horrible customer service!
Svea Poulsen (Sveava): Lovely service and quick and friendly. The ramen was good but the pork wasn't my favorite. Could have used more flavor but rest of the ramen was tasty.Kid-friendliness: Had 2 young kids with me and the servers were kind and patient and accommodating.
Darlalover: Haven’t been here for a few years but I’m surprised that they’re still taste the same, not many restaurants are keeping their food quality in level after pandemic.I specifically like the beef curry ♥!
Lindsay S: I ordered the vegan miso ramen. The presentation was nice however, it had canned corn and bamboo shoots, the noodles were cheap and the broth was salty. I would not eat here again.
Daniel Zhou: It was very good best ramen I hadFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

David Wong: Authentic Japanese Ramen, good price.
Miya: Very fast service and delicious chasu rice. However ramen was lacking. Naruto was cold and dry, chasu was cold and chewy, soup base was salty but not savory.
Michael Bilek: Nice staff and service, good portions, and lots of flavor.

Gyoza Bar: what do users think?
Selena Tuytel: Ordered 3 large curries (pork katsu, ebi, chicken kaarage) through Ubereats and food was delicious. Portions were smaller than expected given prices ans looked more like smalls compared to dine in photos.
Morgan Onda: For a place that's been open less than a month, there sure are plenty of reviews. even some from "a year ago"???Fake reviews do not help a business. it just shows that you don't care about quality. what a shame.
H T: Curry was luke warm, wheres the wagyu and now i have a stomach ache 🤢
W: Delicious curry. Tonkatsu perfectly cooked: crispy and juicy. I wish there was an option to order wagyu beef slices. The bits in the gravy get overshadowed by the curry flavour.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Zach D: I had the Wagyu curry with Pork Katsu topping. Absolutely incredible. A hearty and savoury lunch. Would definitely get again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Wai Wai Wong: Very tasty Japanese curry! Wagyu bun is also delicious. Will definitely go again for lunch.
Wally Silva: Absolutely delicious and the staff is super friendly and hard working!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ben Kwok: The Wagyu curry and pork katsu were great! Stands up to some of the best curry shops I’ve been to in Japan! The only downside is the curry buns weren’t ready yet when I went at opening time.
Ericka C: There was not a lot of variety of choices but they don't nees to!The curry with pork katsu was pretty good but what did it for me was the curry bun. It was pretty good!Staff was friendly and the place looks clean too.Definitely coming back sometime
quinn gallacher: Absolutely fantastic curry and pork katsu!!!! Highly recommend!!! Very friendly staff
jonny Sigouin: Such a fast delicious meal! This place is great for quick lunch breaks. Ordered from the counter and within 5 minutes my meal was ready. I had the curry with the scallop fry add on. The scallops melted in my mouth 🤤. I can’t wait to bring my friends coworkers in and try more of their add ons:)Vegetarian options: Vegan curry option is delicious.
Douglas Sum: Great potential but a bit pricey. The A5 curry flavour is fantastic, but base curry is already $17. I ordered the chicken karaage topping, there's only 4 pieces for $7, a bit steep. It was a bit oily but flavour is good.Rice to sauce ratio is a bit less than what I personally like, but enough to have sauce in each bite.Usually this type of order and seat yourself restaurant, staff is friendly but there's minimal service, to see tipping option starting at 15% is just slightly negative.I also think a sign in front to say order at the counter before seating will help customers, I see a few people coming in just waiting for a while before figuring it out.Food is good though, service is good, ambiance is there, just don't know if its worth $25 after tax and tips.
Sasha Leung: Went for the Wa Curry opening and everything was delish! Perfect for take out but they also have a seating area. Choose from Wagyu or vegan ground curry, add your toppings and a Sapporo and you're good to go!
Mori: Prior to the pandemic, my husband and I went here one day for lunch and we had a great time - it just took me awhile to finally get to post a review. We ordered the crispy vegetable & pork teppan gyoza, vegetable fritter sandwich & a their pork sandwich, although I'm not sure if they still over those sandwiches anymore since it's been awhile. We have gone here a couple of times and every time, the food & service was great. If we find ourselves in the area, we will definitely go here again.
chris dickson: TAKE OUT ONLY
Jean J: The food is mediocre, can get much better gyozas and ramen elsewhere.
Jason Lai: Got food poisoning here recently. Horrible experience
Elise Roy: Ramen is fantastic! My husband and I ordered the Ramen Duo which comes with an order of gyoza. Highly recommend this spot!
J T: Yummy food, great ramen and gyozas. Tried this place out with my friend for Dine Out, the server told us they'll be closing down after Dine Out. Try this place out while you can!
Maitten Larpin- Chauvy: Just perfect!!
Vanfoodiepharmily: @gyozabarvan umami duo (tamari shoyu tonkotsu, port teppan) and Marukatsu Teishoku with pork katsuBeing fans of gyoza, we had been talking about visiting this place for the longest time. It did not disappoint. Besides having super juicy gyoza, their ramen was also super delicious with a super rich broth. The noodle was probably its weakest part. The katsu was also juicy and crispy, with unlimited refills for rice and cabbage, which I totally appreciated. I could eat that cabbage with sesame dressing all day!

Fuku Ramen: what do users think?
Mark Pattrakorn: I was starving, so I ordered these 2 dishes. It was amazing. I couldn’t stop eating it. Now I’m completely full 😂
김아름: Here is my favourite ramen place , reasonable price and portion my favourite is spicy black ramenI ordered sockeye oshi for to go later I was so surprised that this restaurant can make better oshi than big restaurant in downtown wow!! Very very delicious and staff also friendly and niceWill be back for sure recommended :))
steven cheng: I found this to be a bit disappointed with the portion size of the food. I have been to alot of Ramen shops all across the globe and found this place to be stingy on the size. I ordered the spicy Ramen with cha Sui. I thought from the pictures it be fuller than what I got. I have not seen a quarter bowl of broth, one half egg, 2 pieces of very thin cha sui, small handful of noodles, very minimal veggies. The price being at 15 dollars values the portion size as a tapas Ramen than actual meal size Ramen. They should of called it a tapas Ramen bar so they should not expect regular size meal. In Japan or anywhere else that has Japanese owners they would never cheap out on the broth for one because they would want you to drink more of the broth as it takes alot of work to make it tasty. Also at least fill you up and make you leave satisfied and happy. The plate cost would likely be around 3 dollars and max at 4 dollars with the workers wage included to make it. They would be making at least 10 dollars and change. This why it is the only reason they aren't turning tables over quick enough to make the business super profitable. If they fix the portion size and fill people up they be in the conversation for a place to eat and not a place as an after thought. The owners need to read the comments and see alot of the comments about portion size and the need for it. Great service means no repeat business if the Ramen are tapas size and the price you charge for it.I will give it another go when they rectify the portion size that reflects the price they charge
John Lee: The Ramen are so tasty. Tried Red and Black Cha Siu Ramen with extra Cha Siu.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J Ha: The two stars I'm providing are earned from the customer service from the waitresses. They were friendly and courteous so I thank them for this. However, that's where the positives end.I came here several weeks back to try them out. Food was unacceptably poor. I should have left when I heard the microwave input beeps by the Korean or Taiwanese "chefs" upon receiving my order. Broth was piping hot with no steam. Telltale sign of the broth being microwaved and then having the noodles dropped in.Just awful.
brian wu: Taste of the soup is not bad, the noodles are ok. But the portions are very small.
꧁sʇuʌɹϽ ᴉuoꓕ꧂: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 2/5Recommended dishes Spicy Miso Parking space Difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lotMore
Alicia: This is an unassuming hole in the wall place right by the covered carpark of T&T. I've been here twice. The first with a group of four. There are two tables for larger groups which can seat four comfortably. The menu has a few spicy broth options for the spice lovers. I opted for the non-spicy vegetarian option the first time and the non-spicy Miso the second. I liked that the springy noodles and the broth. There aren't a lot of ingredients in the basic option unless you include additional toppings/sides.Vegetarian options: There's a vegetarian option on the menu. Not a big selection.
Eva Zheng: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Alvin Lawo: Good ramen in a dive. Better than I expected on first glance.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Vivian L.: We stopped here for dinner as it was closeby. The atmosphere leaves a little to be desired. I think it would have helped to have some music in the background. When we entered, the tables were not cleaned and we had to stand awkwardly for the server to clean a table for us.Unfortunately, they forgot to fill our waters until we were served our meals. As for food, this place offers both korean and japanese fare. Almost too many options! The staff here spoke korean so I’m assuming it is a Korean-own Japanese Restaurant serving Ramen, Sushi & various korean dishes.I ordered the Black Ramen with a side of Chicken Karage. I was impressed by the portion size of the chicken! However mayo is extra charge. The ramen was good. I liked that it came with half a tamago without extra charge. The bowls made the portion look small. I’m still debating whether or not the ramen has an average portion or smaller. Not bad but definitely nothing special here. A decent stop for a casual dinner.
Jordan Eunson: Amazing tasty ramen. I got the red with karrage. I recommend a coke with it as well
leothetang: Karage burnt, service not good. Ramen, nothing special.Food: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Anna Peng: Delicious food. Karaage is a must. Takoyaki was great. The only downside was that the ramen portion was a little smaller than what I'm used to.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Baby bear: Lucky for moving around hereThis is gonna be my favourite ramen place in vancouver Staff was very friendlyQuick serviceYummy!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kammy Ho: As a ramen lover, this ramen shop cannot meet my standard. The ramen is not good, it just like the noodles that we can buy in supermarket, and quantity is not enough for Asian small size woman. The pork is so thin, and not good. The only thing i like is egg.I ate a lot of Ramen in different countries, this is one of the worst Ramen shops I have ever been to.
K K.: I would give 3 stars or higher for the interior, variety of the menu, and the services. It was a cozy place, but the quality of ramen and the inconvenience, my experience was 2 out of 5 stars.Portion of the noodles were normal, they did their ajitama(egg) very well. However, broth and toppings were kept very minimal unless you order extra toppings (which increases to price range to $20-30 per person).Broth weren’t even filled to the half of the bowl, it’s one of a method to keep the toppings above surface but causes less portion. There was this one tiny steamed broccoli with sliced baby carrots in a ramen? both overly boiled and felt like they added to make up for lack of toppings that they add in the ramen.Unless you have a small appetite, you won’t get full from their basic order, you would have to order extra toppings, but at that point, might as well go to a different place for cheaper and better ramen that makes you full.*Beware of extra topping like black fungus or bamboo shoot because they do not squeeze out the liquid that came with the bag from factory, so entire ramen would smell funky.Charging same price as other ramen restaurants, the quality is very low. Maybe the don dish would be better than ramen even though ramen is in the name of the place.**If you experience issue with your transaction, check your bank account after because there’s a chance that they charged you twice and you would have to come back to the store to get refunded. This one was just unlucky/coincidence.
Olga Gonokhova: Great sushi and ramenRecommended dishes Chicken Karaage …More
Himawari Goma: Every ramen here is my favourite, flavourful especially spicy black ramen server was very friendlyVery nice spot for quick lunch ,reasonable priceNow there's more table and they have spicy classic as request love it!
Grace Hung: Small portions and the miso ramen was so salty. Literally like drinking salt. I told the staff and they ignored it. Said it's suppose to be like that. Expensive for portions. Stay away! Many better places out there and will not go back. They will probably close down soon.. with that quality of food and service from staff.
Tiffany Lin: Good ramen!
