Not only they expertly answered all my specific questions but they tried hard to find a solution despite the short timing I had. Their kindness an and willingness to help was genuine and I will never forget how much help I’ve had. I’ll gladly comeback and will strongly suggest to anyone to go there if they want a genuine, kind and articulate manager and her colleagues that also tried their best to find solutions to my problems (up until going to the shop to buy a pump so they can inflate the wheels of the stroller to test it). I wouldn't recommend anyone from my network to buy from them. They need to know that in this time and age. There are options available elsewhere. I will go spend my money where it's appreciated and where there's a level of service. For those who had similar experiences I feel you.

It was important for me to find a knowledgeable store that could guide me in selecting the right products and brands, as it can be overwhelming to make these decisions for the first time. The staff at Active Baby exceeded my expectations and provided me with exceptional assistance.Recently, I returned to the store to purchase a jogging stroller for my boyfriend, and once again, the staff went above and beyond to help me. They even assembled the stroller for me and carried it to my car, saving me the hassle of dealing with a box and a newborn at the same time.I highly recommend Active Baby to any new mom. Their staff is well-trained and knowledgeable about their products. I was impressed to learn that the staff member who assisted me had tested out all the jogging strollers herself, despite not having a child, just so she could provide relevant advice to customers. Their A+++ service also includes storing your receipt on file for easy returns. I cannot praise this store enough for their outstanding service.

Beatrice Elford: Ordered online on black friday and two weeks passed and my order had not been fulfilled and since I live across the country I tried to reach out multiple times by email and through the contact page on their website to see if my items would make it for Christmas and received no replies. I finally was able to get ahold of someone by phone and explained everything and the customer service agent was completely unphased like this is the norm for the company. I asked her to cancel my order and she did with no hassle thankfully. Still have never heard back by email 4+ weeks later.
Kristen Courtney: Ordered online, as I live out of town. Two and a half weeks after ordering, it still hadn't shipped (showed "awaiting fulfillment"), so I began trying to reach them. I've sent four emails and left two voicemails and no one has got back to me (it's been nearly a month since they charged my credit card!). I've managed to speak to a staff person twice, and they only tell they don't know why it hasn't shipped and to call and leave and message for the warehouse. I'm now two days from flying out of province for the holidays and don't have boots for my toddler (which means I have to drive 2.5h into town to try to find some). I've explained the urgency in my messages, and still nothing. Spare yourself the headache and shop somewhere with even a tiny bit of respect for their customers. Appalling customer service.

So if I hadn’t called they would have just kept my money and given me nothing.They say they can’t do a refund at the store, it has to happen at the mythical “warehouse” but no one answers there when I call. Such a headache, still no money, and I’m going to have to keep calling until I get it back. What a terrible system!!!

Jakub Richvalsky: Would not buy anything there. They are selling products from cheap manufacturers and then not dealing with warranty claim. It is then all on your own. So if something goes wrong and you cannot reach manufacturer on the other side of the world, you lost your hard earned money. They don't care at all. It should be always seller responsibility!!!
Zion Zoop: Placed an order for a very hard to find item for a birthday present, guess what? It wasn't in stock and it wasn't until I reached out 6 days later that they informed me of this. The best they could do was 4-5 weeks after they made another order to the manufacturer. Apparently this is a common theme with this company after reading through their reviews. Thank you for wasting my time, and leaving me without the one thing she really wanted. Horrible customer service, like, at what point where they going to inform me that they don't have the item I paid for? Asked for an immediate refund. Broke my heart after explaining to her that I tried really hard to get you the present you wanted but unfortunately, I won't be able to get it in time for your birthday. I'll never support this company again, nor will I ever recommend it to anybody else. We're living in 2023, update your stock lists or at the VERY least, inform your customer before they have to reach out and ask what is going on with their order. If this was an isolated event, then I'd understand, but clearly you have done this to multiple customers, multiple times, you really need to do better..
Brenna Quaas: I chose Active Baby for my registry knowing there was a location close to where I live and because they carry brands that I want to purchase. Most items on my registry ended up not being in stock throughout the time I had the registry, and when I went to complete my registry I wasn't given a code for the discount and was told I had to complete everything on the registry - even though I had items I couldn't fulfill because they were out of stock and/or had items from other stores to fill the gaps. It takes weeks to fulfill orders, and there is zero communication about the delays. The staff aren't knowledgable about what is going on, although I don't blame them. At one point the Active Baby website was changed and I was unable to add items to my registry without using the add-on for Chrome. I had informed them multiple times with little to no response or follow up on the issue. Would not recommend for a primary store for your registry.
Sara Raziee: I have always had a good experience with this store. Very helpful staff and owner does his best to help you from dropping your order at your doorstep to installing a car seat.
Kelvin Luk: I made a purchase at the end of July online and was notified that the item was backordered AFTER i had made the purchase. It was an item I purchased for my upcoming flight but needless the say its now October 1st and I have still not received my item I purchased and Activebaby is holding onto my money all this time. I've followed up with ActiveBaby 4 times now and every time the customer service team gives me the same excuse and tells me to wait another 2 weeks. At this point it is getting incredibly difficult to deal with Activebaby as they clearly do not place customer service as their #1 priority. It would be nice to provide updates to me along the way but that did not happen. I have never had to deal with such a situation with any retailer in my life and this is absolutely the most horrific experience ever. I don't even know if I will even be getting my item while Activebaby has had an interest free loan from me for 2 months.July Lu (owner), please do something!

Philip Tarrant: As an father to be going to a baby store alone for the first time during a wear house sale is a little bit intimidating. Walking up to the store I was out of my element being the only guy in the lineup competing for a prize if you are one of the first 20 in the store. I crushed it #18 eager enough to make the cutoff but didn’t get there ridiculously early! The staff were so nice and helpful to someone who knows literally nothing. They helped me with sizing of clothing (what is a 2T???), what colours the clothes are (I’m colourblind), breast pump choices (that’s a can of worms), stroller colours and features (glad I asked because I thought the green one was grey….my wife does NOT like the green). Enough about my lack of knowledge… They set me up an account saving me some extra money on top of the sale and honestly the staff were dealing with a lot going on and really did everything they could to help. The store had lots of choices and I felt that the staff were honest and really wanted what’s best for the customers. Thanks for the great first experience and I’ll be coming back!

Today the cashier advised that there was a minimum purchase of $10 and said this policy was always in effect. Not sure who is right or wrong, but clearly this policy was not consistently enforced. As such, I will be going to another store.Update: 2023/04/16 - Changing this to 4 stars because they have improved, and I will be a regular customer once again. Thank you.

M Ho: Toys R Us on West Broadway Vancouver is much better than the one in Richmond , they sell babies stuffs in the same store , convenient for most people , parking on roof top . I found that their prices are not that reasonable , maybe that's the reason why not too many customers in there , I was in there for about one hour , I couldn't find anything that I was willing to buy , very few customers , only about ten I saw , think they should have something more put on sale every week to attract more customers , such a big store with so little customers , browsing only instead of buying , there must be something not right don't you think ?
Wii Games: I had a great time shopping for Christmas presents for my son, and an employee named Zack was able to find a Lego set that i was looking for. Overall, the store was tidy and the employees were friendly to me. Highly recommend!

They had many models to test and once we had tried a few and started to get confused, Surinder was very helpful showing us two or three models in detail and describing the pros and cons. She helped us find the model we liked and allowed us to take the floor model to our car to be sure it would fit. Michael carried the big box up to the parking floor ( recent snow had busted the elevator). Great shopping experience.

A lady named ANTONIA was incredibly helpful - she took her time with my husband and I to show us multiple strollers, carriers, accessories, etc. She was super patient, answered ALL of our questions and made so many helpful suggestions. She was completely unbiased and took the time to go through everything that we needed and showed us multiple options for each. I can't wait to go back to see what else Antonia can help us with!!!!
Yasmine S: Their online shopping experience was awful. Couldn't checkout with UK billing address so was forced to use PayPal. Their normal dispatch timeframe is 4-6 business days. Why on earth do they need to sit on an order for so long before shipping? When complained their excuse was that they are a small business. How is that even an excuse? In the UK the tiniest businesses ship out orders within 12-24 hours (even for standard delivery). On top of that, their warehouse is located in MB when their operations are in BC/ON. So again adding to longer shopping times on top of their ridiculous dispatch time! It's a complete joke. Will most certainly never order from here again.

麥展瑋: 3/26剛買個新的推車,回家拆開後,某些零件不不能使用的,3/27來換個零件。經理不讓我們換個新的,說那個東西不影響功能,叫我們將就使用,或者上網自行登錄問題等待回覆。不同意後一樣不讓我們換個新的零件,等大聲吵後居然要拿展示品給我。不同意後又爭吵了半小時才願意拆新的零件給我們,隨後又補了一句你在吵我們就趕你出店。整個店不知道在囂張什麼的。出門後還跑出來說剛剛警鈴響了要檢查我們有沒有偷東西。還檢查了所有包包跟車上物品第一次遇到這種爛店爛經理。強烈建議不要去哪間店消費,會氣死的。

None of the stores near us carry this brand in-store, so we made the trip out. A few minutes after browsing, Pauline approached us and walked us through all of the features of the stroller and carseat we were considering. She was so thorough! Rebecca Donaldson: 12/11/2020Since Sept 27 2020 I have been waiting on a doll for 89.99 and ordered shoes for her too. I have been told lies like the doll was in the states and they are keeping an eye on it, even though the fake tracking never moved from its original spot in China. Then they said it was a special order and it will take a little longer to get out of China and they were going to give me a bunch of freebies for my wait. Was it in China or the states? (You gotta be smarter than that if you are going to lie!) I then told them I waited far too long that it obviously was not coming and I wanted my money back. (See attachment of notice number 2) They will not respond to give me my money back! Do not buy from thisisBlythe.com ! I have asked several times for a refund and have since gotten e-mails from them saying they are going to take action against me, then another one said they would give me my money back only if I would remove the offending reviews. They were going to sue me for the reviews which hurts their business. For giggles I posted a picture of the Cease and desist they sent me!Then they responded to the review on another site saying Pay Pal dismissed the case because I would not wait long enough for the doll! PayPal did not dismiss this case. They owe me money for some shoes too because they were for a doll that they fraudulently said they would sell me. Don't believe any fake positive reviews online they are scammers!

My husband and I was looking around for a crib and changing table/dresser for our baby. We ended up at another store and we seen a crib and table we really liked but they didn't have it in stock. The lady at that store was killing me! We asked her if she had the items in stock..."yes! In Ontario" she said. I was getting quite annoyed considering that... 1. That being in Ontario doesn't benefit me. And 2. If your store does not have it, it means your out of stock. 🤦🏽‍♀️Anyways...We went home and looked online to see if any other baby store had it in stock and we stumbled upon this store. It was 7:40 PM when we called them and they closed at 8. The lady on the phone was straight to the point and said they did have it in stock. We asked her if we could come and get it and she said they would wait for us if we were surely going to purchase it. Me and my husband left home immediately and went to Richmond which was around 8PM. We got in and the employees helped us even though it was late...and the price was cheaper compared to some other stores. We are very pleased with the experience and we even went back a few days later to look around and do more shopping.I saw that moon lamp and fell in love with it! It was too cute.

When got to this shop we found the staff to be very kind helpful knowledgeable and friendly, in fact lady in particular, her name is Sophie impressed us with her kindness and calming attitude, she made it very easy for us to understand what we needed and why, so consequently in the months leading up to the birth we made several return trips and always made sure that we saw our trusted assistant and friend Sophie.We are so happy and thankful for all her wise words and product knowledge that she gave us, I would recommend this shop to anyone and make sure that they see our friend.

I called to ask and see if i could exchange it for something else, as i really dont need this item, and i may end up spending more at the store. Kitty: Great place to find all the stuff you need for baby / toddler. Only thing is that the Richmond location is not very stroller friendly, and the parking lot have very limited spots and it can get very chaotic. Hit and miss services for sure. I’ve spoken to really helpful and nice staff in the back where the strollers / car seat is located and have experience very rude cashier in the front as well. Pricing seems to be pretty competitive with other baby stores.

Had to call customer service in order to ensure my husband will be able to pick up our order without issues. Upon arrival today, again, nobody answered the contactless pick up number. Had to wait in lineup for 40mins to simply request for our order. Only the sales person in the stroller section was very helpful and knowledgeable when we visited a few weeks back.

Unfortunately the store had a power outage and could not process our order. The manager was kind and accommodating and suggested we checked out online and selected curb side pick up. I also appreciate her warehouse team for locating our crib and mattress is the dark!Thanks for your outstanding service!
