Jon Chuma: Bought a couch and a chair on Feb 1. By Feb 28 there was a small tear on the head rest of one section of the couch. Placed a warranty request on Mar 1. La-Z-Boy is still reviewing the claim 3 weeks later. No resolution or explanation of the delay has been provided. This hasn’t been the best experience as our first purchase from La-Z-Boy and probably will be our last. So buy at your own risk, hopefully you don't have to warranty your new sofa or chair.UPDATE: the couch was replaced which was great. However the silver pulls we’re not included on the new couch and I was not allowed to take them from the old one. So waiting on replacement pulls now. Definitely not a seamless process unfortunately.UPDATE 2: the journey has come to a positive end. Customer service from the local warehouse was great. Enjoying having the couch again.

Jason Ramsey: Patiently waiting for my matching sofa set that was purchased in December to arrive at the end of March from the United States. The 3 Kennedy line pieces that I bought are: an apartment size sleeper sofa, chair and ottoman. This is a custom order that involves upgrades like: enhanced quality fabric, Tempur mattress and Tempur cushions. Therefore, the wait for it all to be assembled during these backlogged supply chain days of the ongoing pandemic is very understandable.I attended a total of 4 visits to the North Vancouver store to completely close this transaction. The first visit involved orientation of the Kennedy product line and a most appreciated demonstration showing the differences in quality with the 3 tiers of bed mattresses that La-Z-Boy offers. The second visit occurred with the sales associate kindly reaching out to let me know that there was a rare VIP sale on 'custom orders' that day. The third visit (and the second) was working out what colour of fabric I wanted along with the Tempur-Response upgrades. After seemingly finalising this purchase after the third visit ... I received an out of the blue call a few days later informing me that my first choice colour of fabric (that had been discontinued) was surprisingly located due to some special effort and behind the scenes investigation. So, back I went making it a fourth visit to make sure that my first choice fabric (that I had given up on) would be a more satisfying replacement to my second choice colour that I had already happily agreed upon. The sales associate went above and beyond for facilitating the even more positive outcome.The friendly and helpful sales associates that I dealt with were Sara and Mahfam. Sara was my main salesperson and Mahfam whenever called upon provided her expertise in interior design. Sara was especially kind and patient with me during the entire transaction. Both sales ladies are effective representatives of La-Z-Boy - Bravo!

P Kwok: It was a nightmare in recent purchase in Industial Revoluyion Furniture. We paid the dining table, delivery and assembly fee in full in advance. Then in the delivery day, the installers didn't bring the needed hardware for the table assembly. So the table was just left unassembled at our home. We asked the installer to come back with the hardware to complete the assembly but no feedback. The shop asked us to go to their place to pick up used hardware but at the expense of our time. It is totally no customer service and just put the burden of other faults on us, the customer. Totally disappointed and frustrated.

Jen: Do not buy your furniture from here, the furniture you receive does not match the in-store quality and is very poorly crafted. We bought a custom couch and waited a long to to receive it only to receive it damaged and in poor condition. What a nightmare. It is also extremely hard to contact a manager and the auto scheduling is awful. Please take caution and spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

Store didn't arrange delivery for the agreed date, which left us sitting in lawn chairs in our living room for 6 days. They were supposed to refund the delivery charge as compensation for the botched delivery. I finally had to go back to the store 5 weeks later because the cheque is in the mail is truly a lie. Never again.

Sydney Morton: We got the Transforming Table - Space Saver Coffee Transformer v3. This table is amazing. It works so well in our apartment, and even collapses down low enough that it can be stored underneath our murphy bed when we need it. I love that I can adjust the height for work Zooms, too. I've seen other similar tables for twice as much, but the quality of this one is the same, if not better. And the mechanism to collapse it is so smooth and easy, it doesn't wake our baby up using it. Plus it looks great! This company has really innovative options for smaller spaces that feel high end and actually look nice (not like a dorm room). Highly recommend!

Mathieu Provencher: I purchased one of Expand Furniture's tables (The Divide) and chairs (Pendulum folding dining chairs) around six months ago.The table had an important production default (the middle extension would not come out of its hiding placement) but the chairs were in perfect condition.I contacted their customer service and was very satisfied with their answer to my query. The lady I contacted was fantastic and helped me with the issue in a timely manner.I highly recommend checking their furniture if you have the budget for it. After approximately six months, the table still works very well and the chairs have survived real-life tests.I also bought a bed from them beforehand (the Reveal) and it works like a charm.

It's also easy to use just one or two stools at a time, and takes only seconds to take one out or put it back. It does require additional support if I'm lowering it while open, but that feels like a small price to pay for a table we see ourselves using for years, across functionalities - coffee table, dining table, serving / buffet space during parties and so much more.

Tiana Jung: The process of ordering was very easy. However, upon delivery and assembly, we discovered they had sent me the wrong unit. They were super accommodating when I notified them of this error and even offered me free shipping and delivery for the proper items. I ended up loving the furniture they did send and told them there was no need for a réinstallation but would appreciate a refund for the price discrepancy which they happily obliged with. Most companies would’ve not replied or been angry with me but Expand was more than accommodating. They are also quick to respond via phone or email and the furniture is extremely good quality. Can’t wait to buy more in the future!

The measure of a company that cares is one that makes it right. Expand made it right, and so I have revised my review.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I placed my order on November 15 for the Flip table, and received an automated message that it would take 2-3 weeks to get to me and I would receive notice from the shipping department. Without notice, (except for some dodgy-looking UPS notification about something being shipped from Freightcom and something being shipped from Freight Club that I trashed right away because I recognize a potential scam when I see one!), I received the legs to my table on November 28. The top was in the UPS warehouse. It was supposed to be delivered on 29th (according to UPS) but suddenly was listed as on its way back to North Carolina (I thought I was ordering from Vancouver) due to a "service disruption".I have sent five messages to customer service and received three replies back, all with zero information on what happened or when I will get my table. This is unacceptable service. Apparently, people are getting calls from the owner if they publish a Google review, so I'm giving that a try.

We went to store 4 times for guidance as to what the problem was , told us to contact Natuzzi warranty . Got a " WE Are Here For You " I'm serious on 12-21-2021. We gave up and had the couch foam repaired for 500.00 dollars. Please do your research when buying this product as you will get help from no-one . P.S I weigh 75 Kilograms.

P: My partner and I have shopped at Inspiration Furniture for years. The selection and our overall experience have been great - that is until I had to deal with a sales representative on the floor by the name of "A....n" - who, because I had a difference of opinion, treated me with contempt and was simply rude, so much so that I actually drafted a letter for Steen and Peter Skanning, informing them that "A....n’s approach was arrogant, and demeaning. In fact, he was insulting to me – questioning my knowledge of the product, and he was extremely quick to become angry when I did not agree with is opinion." This is unfortunate as Danielle, who does not work at Inspiration anymore, had been nothing but exceptional in dealing with us. As I left the store, I shared my experience with another person on staff and asked if she could pass it on to the manager or owners. I allowed considerable time to pass before considering this review to see if the effect of the experience would dissipate, but when one is driven to drafting letters, the memory of that day has clearly remained. To date, neither my partner or myself have even considered returning. Unfortunate, as we do like the selection and showroom, and that other staff who work hard to provide quality service do exist - but our years of loyalty to Inspiration have clearly been tainted by one person's actions, which affect not only the customer but their overall impression of the company itself.

Thank you Inspiration Team.____________________________I never thought I would say this about this company, but I have had multiple communication failures which led me from one place to another and then utter disappointment in the end.To start, I ordered a bench from Kare (Inspiration affiliate) from a sales associate almost 5 months ago who said it could take 6+ months to ship to us. Already a red flag, but I understand the customization timeframes and the item looked good enough to wait so I put my deposit. So we waited. A few days ago, I was told by the same associate by text that the bench was ready and that it would be available for pick up once I made final payment. I decided to come into the west 6th store to pick up only to find out the item was in the Coquitlam warehouse. I wasn't told where to pick up the item just where to pay. Was it bad to assume that the item would be ready upon payment at the store the sales associate worked at? But I was told by another Kare associate that not only is it not here in the west 6th store, but the delivery would take another week. Another associate at the counter said the store's policy was to wait for payment before delivery. But some would make exceptions to that rule and deliver it regardless. I advise that I will pick up in Coquitlam next day so I paid and went home. An hour later, the Kare associate called me back to tell me that for some reason they have lost my bench and that the system said it was there but it was not physically at the warehouse.Whether it was due to bad logistics or just that someone sold it to someone else, the associate wasn't clear.What was even more shocking was that he told me that my options were to wait until next year 2020 or get a refund after just making the full payment. I waited almost 5 months for the item only for them to say they have it lost in their system. I'm still not sure if they said that this has never happened before or that this has happened. In the end they did not handle this well with me at all. These options don't consider the time it took for me to get to the store everytime and the amount of time waiting and holding my deposit money when I could have just bought somewhere else. Payments could have been made over the phone or could it not?The company made me feel I wasn't important. I certainly felt that I did all the leg work to make my way to the store, they just had to deliver me a product, and they couldn't even do that.Not good at all and this is coming from a high end furniture store. I will post an update if I hear of better options.

Anestly, it is almost fake to me.I bought one of leather covered bed frame but after year( waranty is over ) it started crack every where and peeling off terribly. It was beautiful bed frame until waranty is over.They said they can sell another new one as half price. It was only they can do for me but I don't want to buy this terrible bed frame again.Anyway. It is fake leather. I have a fake leather sofa from Ikea for more than 15 years. This sofa condition is much better. It just have little spot cracks.I checked invoice recently. It says leather look. The sales lady didn't explain about it. I only checked price but I didn't check details at that time. I knew inspiration selling high end stuffs so I didn't expected it is fake leather.Anyway, if you have plan to buy any furniture over there, ask them is it from China? Is it real leather? Or they will not tell you about it. You must ask them. Or you will buy poor fake quality expensive furnitures.Ps. I am looking for people who has same problem as me. Mine is RUF|BETTEN Cocoon bed white leather look.

We found this store close from our place on the internet who are dealers of the product. We were served by a gentleman called mister Helen Zhang. Not only he immediately found the good piece we needed, but he also repaired the broken piece with his tools, because we were not able to unscrew it by ourselves. He was so kind and helpful, and we were so happy to have settled the problem, that we would have been ready to pay quite a lot of money for that great service. But then he said he did it for free, and wished us a very good trip in Vancouver. We cannot thank him enough!Thanks so much Mr. Zhang!

One mistake and that’s okay! Waited for another two weeks for them to replace the other two chairs. I called and confirmed my delivery the day before to ensure they have my order, however, they showed up the next morning empty handed telling me that they are here for pick ups. Absolutely horrible communication within the team! I now have to wait for another two months for my two other chairs, and I am not able to refund them even though they haven’t start making them !?Also, the delivery time frame was very inflexible. I called to ask for other time frames but they insisted on the exact time frame they offered. Had to book my work off for them to come empty handed….

When I finally did see it and called, after two rings I was immediately speaking to a human being - a rarity in this day and age. They ensured me that my order would be held indefinitely, and I could come pick it up at anytime. Honestly, just the fact that I called the Oakridge location and got through to someone without a million different automation inputs is enough to give a company 5 stars these days. That might speak to the state of customer service in 2023, but regardless I really appreciated it and will be picking up my glassware set tomorrow.

Additionally, C&B's Return policy allowed for this model to be returned to store, saving the hassle of shipping back a defective item.We went to the store to finalize a decision about colors and we were well guided by the young man at Appliance section. He was well dressed, wore glasses and had a nature about him that was Part Owl and Part Wizard. He had the vision to see through our confusion from afar, and the knowledge to step forward and gently nudge us in the right direction. The best kind of customer service.Reading the reviews, we had some concern about C&B's delivery service. However, there was not even the slightest dent on the 35lb box shipped 2200 miles by Purolator from Naperville, Illinois.

vladi: The one star is because of the delivery services. I ordered two Ventana cabinets. In the first delivery they showed up 2 hrs earlier than expected and left the package with my son without removing the packaging. It’s a 300 pound delivery that I had to unpackage myself. The second time they showed up with two instead of 3 people for such a heavy delivery. They took the cabinet back until next time when they will come with 3 people. In the meantime, I’ll live in a mess created to make some space for the delivery guys to move around.C&B is good, but they need to work with a better delivery company.

However while she was explaining I wanted to buy some top quality German kitchen knifes which she convinced me and spent almost over 700 dollars , I thought she was a professor of German knifes , after her explanation I bought knives and a non stick an Italian hot plate, my wife still compliments for this purchase . Incredible customer service beyond expectations, answers all my queries . This young lady is unbelievable.

Staff were knowledgeable and Paul the owner was particularly helpful to us in choosing a custom sofa that suited our needs, suggesting firmer cushions for support. There are dozens ( hundreds?) of fabric samples and we were able to take some home to see in our space. We placed our order in mid November expecting delivery in mid February to March but they arrived the first week in January! Delivery company was great, on time, careful, and removed packaging. Our experience with Sofa So Good was 10/10 start to finish.

When we asking questions, she explains clearly and gave us useful suggestions. My husband was thinking buying a non rocker style chair, but Shiva knows that we r going to have a baby soon, then sharing a lot details about the rocker chair. We feel that suggestion is super helpful, then changing our mind and buying a rocker one.
