Susan T: I was at the till on Wednesday May 10 at noon asking a question. The CSR tried to answer my question but was interrupted by another CSR who told her that she doesn't have to answer my question because customers are stupid and not worth it. I did not complain there because the 1st person was nice. If they play the cameras they will know who that 2nd person was.
David Weber: So i am walking to the door and its 8:53. The girl has just locked the door and is closing the gate. Funny thing is on their website right this minute it says closing soon.

Ms. Ann Thropic: Personally I love dollar tree because things still are only 1.50 at most and they have a lot of options for snacks, crafting supplies, school supplies, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, gift wrap, candles, and kitchen/household items.If you have your receipt and the item is unopened I think you can even do exchanges if you buy the wrong thing.

Jacob Lawin: One star is too much. Today I bought some cleaning spray, I went to another store and discovered that the whole bottle leaked into my backpac, ruining my expensive headphones. I went back to return the item and was told I was scamming them and that they "don't have time for junkies" he then replaced the cleaner and told me not to come back. There was no reason for him to speak to me this way and I did nothing to get banned in the first place. The owner is an extremely cheap ignorant, rude person. All he cared about was the $2.
Sandra W: The older lady cashier is so strange. Twice now i had a problem the first time she told me to wait she needed help/backup then she rang my items through. The second time she told me to go to another cashier all together entirely even though no one was in line! Once is ok perhaps but twice theres something wrong Great store though and great products!

Went to go in line, as the register open light was on,and woman slammed the closed sign down not even giving me a smile, making eye contact or saying anything. As I walked over to the next register, first women announced she was going on break, so I said "that's probably good idea for you to go on break because that was incredibly rude what you did" she then promptly stomped off and slammed break room door. The other women was very kind and when I explained the situation was very apologetic and understanding. I've worked retail before and I understand it can be frustrating when a customer comes into your line up when it's your break time, but come on.

j harris: Great store for wide variety of many basic items. Very busy. Suffers from being in a bad neighborhood with homeless people begging at the doors. They need daily graffiti removal. Food wise, be careful and inspect what you buy - a mouse may have nibbled on it. Otherwise, many items are very good deals at $1.25, compared to other dollar stores. I usually try to get in and out as quick as I can.

Trying to ask if they have mechanical pencil refills in stock that they normally carry, the guy who answered says "we dont sell that kind of stuff" then immediately hung up on me. I tried to call back and he yells at me that they dont sell stuff like that and hung up on me again... is this a business?

Andrew Sanders: I frequent this location as it's the cheapest option for staples on my regular commute. It's convenient to grab the usual grocery items and nice if you need the odd kitchen tool. I find it very difficult to find specific items or items with different sizes. This location definitely feels smaller than other locations which I have been too.At times the line ups can be fairly bad for checkout but that's to be expected during peak times (5pm on a weekday). The staff there are very pleasant and add to the experience.I am am happy that they have stopped closing the mall entry early, it was extremely frustrating to have to walk around the entire building at 5:30 pm when the mall doesn't close until 6pm.

James Marshall: A lesson to all grocery retailers on how to run a great store: good prices, good selection, friendly staff, clean, and a no-frills experience. Fancy, modern interiors are fine but if it costs me even 1 cent extra per shop (and it will), forget about it. Give me a plain interior and savings any day. High recommend this Walmart.

They will sell the poorest quality products to you and are less than helpful in correcting for there wrong.Recently ordered a few pairs of headphones. They were Apple Earpods, supposed to be identical to the stock Apple Earbuds. The headphones I received, when plugged into my phone, were recognized as beatz headphones and required the use of my phones bluetooth even though they were plugged in through a wire. This is sketchy and misleading that they would sell these as iOS certified. After hours of time wasted contacting the support teams, I'm required to travel an hour back to Walmart to return them - INSTEAD of them just doing a proper quality check before selling these garbage electronics.Doubt I will receive a full refund. I will not trust shopping online at Walmart in the future.

MI Five: For treating innocent shoppers (profiling) like thieves monitoring some more than others at self check out or late evenings or day shopping based on speculation and stereotyping them is tempting class action ls. Treating shoppers with scowls, snickering, mockery, creating drama, dirty looks and gossiping whilst deciding they are guilty as a cross departmental 'attack' verbally and nonverbally is despicable. Learn from Shoppers Drug Mart - they lost customers. Today in particular I asked if she was going to stare at me the entire time like Im a crook for 2 x-large and 3 medium sized items at self checkout and she said yes - shame on you for profiling people of your own culture. Also the store sections HARDLY EVER PICKUP the phone and when they do, they do not want to help customers - why call it customer service? Transferring the phone line to people who dont pick up is useless as well. When asking for detailed help they say vague answers and that it will take a long time if they transfer your call - basically its saying we dont want to help.

He was there to spend money for a phone which you denied him, then he was asking for directions to get cat food and children's clothes and you said " can't you find it yourself!?" Gregory Scott: One of the worst stores for scam pricing. For some reason this store is always cheating people with the multiple item pricing. The sign shows a discount on multiples but you don't get it at check out.Walmart is part of the Scanner Accuracy Program but doesn't follow their obligations.Here is the code from the Government of Canada website.Under the code, when the scanned price of an item without a price tag is higher than the displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the item free of charge when it is worth less than $10, or receive a $10 reduction if the correct price is worth more than $10.I guess Walmart likes to cheat seniors.

I re4commeded your store to many immigrants who gave me positive feedback on your products, displays and well trained , cheerful and eager to help staff on duty. You have 3 cash registers with trained cashiers for people who have different needs beside your self serve cash checkouts. Tavish and 3 cheerful cashiers on duty gave me excellent customer service. Tavish is walking extra miles everyday to help customers, he is patient, very kind, shows customers where the products are located than just direct them to the location. I was looking for a particular item, he walked with me and showed me where that item was located instead of telling me where to go and find by myself. This tells me he has respect and patience. I am a very old senior, I recommend this Walmart to anyone who is able or disabled, healthy or with special needs. Wishing the manager and his staff the best in 2023.
Neil Wexler: I needed an item, and I called this Walmart so many times, and they said they would transfer me every time, and then no one picked up!!! And when I went in, no one could help find the location. And despite the fact it said would have it online, they didn't have it in the store! And when I bought some groceries, I got home to see the orange juice I got was expired. This store definitely needs some work to be at an acceptable standard.
Ricardo Augusto Moraes Ferreira: Bought a JBL headphone on boxing day and stopped working after 40 days. I came back to the store to exchange and they said they can't do anything because are more than 30 days. I called customer service before and they said that the store where I first bought it should be able to replace it. Miss communication between cx service channels and frustration in paying over $80 for something that doesn't work. Never again.

Mia Pak: The team at Canadian Office Supplies are great at helping our organization save money. We were spending too much on office supplies and they took a look at what we normally ordered and were able to assist with cost saving and suggested other products that would work for us. They are proactive in that they will let you know in advance if something won't be delivered on time. They deliver the products to our office by the next business day. We've been using them for over 10 years and it's been a great working relationship.
Courtney Cruden: Great place to shop for office supplies! They have everything you could possibly need to run a business. I also find that they have great prices in comparison to Staples. I'm definitely a repeat customer!

Matt Hoover: Strange place, lacks a friendly greeter and is old and dark, including some areas have a creepy low ceiling. This may not seem like a big deal until you experience it yourself. Creepy! To end your experience the self checkout is reminiscent of herding cattle and the computer shows you a live security feed of yourself on the screen. I could only assume this was implying I was a thief. Guilty until proven innocent. There was no paper bag option and nobody cared to help. I asked if I could use my basket for 30 seconds to go to my car and drop stuff off (as you can exit with a cart) and staff and security said “no way!”. Alas, I placed the basket on the ground and walked out with my arms full, feeling untrusted despite my clean cut image and friendly demeanour. 1 out of 5 stars, would not go back.
Sagar Mehta: May 7, 2023. 10:30pm An employee named Anas and one Indian employee(name unknown). Standing on the exit door body shamed my girlfriend when I was not around and then later when I came back to confront them, they refused. I made sure I create a scene big enough that this guy feels ashamed of his act and be embarrassed in the staff too. Then I talked to the manager(name unknown, but bald and white moustache) and he did everything to save his employee and could not answer one simple question of mine which was "Is body shaming tolerated in Walmart or not?". I was told that this concern will reach the store manager and he will take care of it. I would love if appropriate action gets taken.

Isabelle M.: I typically don't shop at Walmart, since I've only been there twice before, with the last visit taking place prior to the pandemic. Yesterday, I went to the Vancouver location after hearing that they had good mattress toppers in stock. However, I was stunned by the degradation of the store: it looked miserable, messy and dirty. All goods are now displayed on the shelves in cardboard boxes. The mattress toppers I was looking for were packaged in a way that allowed people to touch them, which does not meet Canadian health and safety standards. With the food that's sold in the store, I wouldn't be surprised if there were cockroaches hiding in the boxes.Therefore, I do not recommend buying anything at this location nor online.
Joanne Chow: Bought some Great Value Tex Mex cheese there and realized it’s moldy I open it the next day, after I already mixed them in my food. The expiration date is in 3 months away, which mean it’s a storage or supply issue at Walmart.

W W: I feel like the staffs at this location presume everyone is a shoplifter. I have seen people being stopped before they left the stores or asked to see their receipts (random). When they didn't have enough staffs to 'watch' the checkout counters, they would open minimal numbers of checkout counters so causing a long lineup.What disgust me the most is that when you go to self checkout, there is a camera 'recording' your face while you checkout your items and pay. There is absolutely no privacy! Their price is not particular attractive and their produce is not very fresh, I don't see myself going there again if I have other choices.

Michael Stein: Excellent and refreshing purchase experience with the two Kevins. Earlier this week, I was in search of a retailer which had a Bowflex C6 bike in stock and on display. I called the team at Flaman and they took great care of me. Kevin Attril invited me down to demo the bike, set aside a unit for me and locked in a great promotional price. His excellent, low-pressure sales approach was followed by outstanding personal attention from the store manager Kevin Jackal who provided an A to Z overview of the bike at the shop and who arranged a fast & professional bike assembly and delivery to my home. I normally don't write reviews but decided to take a moment to provide some credit where credit is truly due. In a day and age where retailers and salespeople blindly churn customers, it's wonderfully refreshing to interact with a sales person and store manager who sincerely care about customer service and customer satisfaction. These guys are truly exemplary. Well done guys!

Flaman fitness Vancouver only stocks products Kevin believes in and I ended up buying The inspire scs weight bench , , scs multiple attachments, floor Mats , free weights , bars and everything needed for my new hone gym except the attachment for leg curls and leg extensions ( which I have since ordered to the store )If are in need of someone to pressure you, or push or manipulate you into meeting their sales quotas then flaman fitness is NOT the store for you 😂Kevin’s demeanour is calming , organized and respectful at all times and …..Kevin vis knowledgeable and also happily price matches / beats all other possible stores sale prices without hesitation ,He is your one stop fitness shop case closed .

I wanted to buy embroidery floss because you can’t purchase it from Michael’s online and while the price was good, half the colours I needed weren’t available and the staff said there was no way of knowing when new stock would come in and to basically call twice a week when they get their shipments.

She was the only one manning the floor at this time and it was really busy, there was always someone needing to be taken care of. She helped everyone and did so always wearing a smile. I felt grateful for her, she turned my tedious printing errand into a pleasant one. Hats off to you Sanya, please don't ever change :)

I came on Monday morning to pick up a the stamp and they told me the machine was broken. No one cared to call me, no one cared to deal with it when the machine broke. They did not care, did not suggest any solution to deal with it until I told them that they might just let it made in another Staples location and let it sent. Truly, a very unprofessional experience, left alone there were no measures made online, so other customers would not send their orders to the same location.
Alex Pfeifer: Went to buy a keyboard and a mouse and computer monitor, the keyboard they had on display was missing keys and the monitor they had on display was not in stock, why would you display multiple items that are not sellable, please keep track of what you are displaying compared to what you have in stock and maybe get someone to double check that your product is not broken as now I have waited 30 minutes to be told we don't have it in stock..., the people at the store tried to help the best they could but we're not set up for success by their manager as they should be responsible for this.

She actually tried helping me but to no avail I wasted half an hour and didn’t get any business cards printed out. All they kept saying was go online and use visa/Mastercard to print the cards. Why do they think I made the trip there physically?Also $30 for 100 the most simple and basic cards is a ridiculous rate. Maybe it’s time this shoddy outfit rearranges priorities and learns how to manage a schedule instead of having 4 slacking lifeless front desk people staring at their phones while making one person do all the work in the print shop.Yeah don’t worry, I’ll go online alright, with vista print.

I would single out phenomenal employees at this location however, since there are many wonderful and helpful employees, I will make a collective review instead. This Staples gets really, really busy. However, the employees still manage to be uber polite, friendly, patient, extra attentive, and extremely helpful with any task and/or question you may have, and they go the extra mile. They always make sure that my needs have been met. Even two weeks ago, I was running late, Staples has been super busy, and for my packages to make it on time 2 employees helped me pack my package on site, glue the labels etc, and all that with a smile on their faces and extreme courtesy. If this is not exquisite service, then I do not know what this is. The employees here are wonderful human beings and it makes me sad that they are being overloaded and overworked. If a manager happens to read these reviews, my only request would be please, employ 1 or two extra employees at the printing and marketing department because it hurts my eyes to see these employees (there are usually only 2) overloaded with tasks, running with their tongues out from one patron to the other. This location is really busy!

Geoffrey Scoates: Online Purchases still not refunded. Do NOT purchase online. Extremely poor customer service.I try to support non-amazon businesses. I purchases items online and picked them up in the store. Unfortunately I had to return the items as they weren't what I expected.When I went in, the store manager (Adam Wong), took care of me. When doing the refund they were only able to process half the refund (this was a head office/online purchase issue) and I had to leave all the items there and he would personally make sure that everything was refunded. This was back at the end of Sept 2022. I continue to follow up and nothing gets done.I am left with no recourse as the entire purchase was around $50. I don't like posting negative reviews, but I'm left with no options. The time and energy sunk into this issue is shocking for myself and for the company as clearly it has cost more in labour and frustration than the refund is worth.

It is probably my first review with such low star.I went to this Staples branch to only and only “spiral coil” the notes I had from my instructor for a class. A simple service that any Staples provide in a couple of hours.I explained to the gentleman behind the counter that I am the costumer to Staples branch xxx, their coiling machine is broken. So, they could not complete coiling my notes. The gentleman called his colleague/manager to help as he did not know what to do.When the second gentleman came, he said it is not allowed to alter an author’s work without written permission. I explained to him for a few times that I don’t want to make any changes to my class’s instructor note. I just want them to put an spiral coil on it so I can study my notes easier. He kept going on and on that it’s not allowed to do that and does not know why other branches do that.I left the branch being sad thinking if I did something wrong. Went back to staples xxx, talked to their manager about what happened. They calmly explained to me that it is not about coiling class notes. It’s about copy and printing books. It does not include coiling a class notes. They received my notes and will spiral coil it when their machine is fixed.So sorry for this branch which seemed clean, tidy and fairly big. I will never go back again.
