They had countless options for Fabric, leg finish and height, and many configurations to choose from. Delivery was within 5 weeks of order date, i expected several months.Delivery was today. I was nervous about it, but both pieces were wrapped in protective cardboard and plastic. The delivery guys were amazing as well and helped take pictures of the wall, put them back after and removed all the packaging when they left after assembling it for me.A 5 star experience all the way. Having sat on so many couch over these few weeks we were so happy to find the one perfect couch at this place. Lorraine Marr: Sofa is very nice, “just as expected”. This review, however, is about the “Delivery Team” that delivered the Sofa Tuesday Feb 28/2023 to Margetts. Not only was the delivery fought with the most difficult obstacles, it was the worst snowy day for years. No Doubt “Sofa So Good” knows who i am writing about. After an hour, we were resigned to the fact it was impossible to reach our apartment. However, the Team never quit. ALL obstacles (and there were many) were overcome and the Sofa was delivered in perfect condition.

J James: Nothing but kudos for the team at Sofa So Good. So pleased with our Lachlan sofa bed. An excellent solution to a challenging problem: transforming a small bedroom with a 29” doorway into a den/office/guest room. Unique sofa bed mechanism, no stray cushions. Comfortable and supportive in both uses. Missy was wonderful and the delivery team awesome - they really can “slip an elephant under the door” as she promised. Entire experience with this local business was excellent.

Lesley Scott: If you are in the market for a custom sofa at a reasonable price head to the family run business Sofa So Good. AND the upholstered items are Canadian made! There are many sofas on display in the spacious showroom. Staff were knowledgeable and Paul the owner was particularly helpful to us in choosing a custom sofa that suited our needs, suggesting firmer cushions for support. There are dozens ( hundreds?) of fabric samples and we were able to take some home to see in our space. We placed our order in mid November expecting delivery in mid February to March but they arrived the first week in January! Delivery company was great, on time, careful, and removed packaging. Our experience with Sofa So Good was 10/10 start to finish.

Gina Chang: STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!! I regret not listening to the advice of all the online reviews of EQ3. We always enjoy browsing the EQ3 shop on Granville because of the nice aesthetics and presentation. We bought this coffee table last September (reg price $699), and it was wobbly from day 1 after it was assembled. We tried tightening the screws but it'll only stay a bit less wobbly for one day, and then return to the same wobbliness. We didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it and searching for another coffee table so decided to live with the wobbliness.6 months later, the table collapsed ON ITS OWN. The photo shows the crooked leg (it's supposed to stand straight on the floor). Customer service wanted us to film a video of it so I did, and while I was showing how wobbly it was, another leg BROKE spontaneously and I burst out laughing in my video.Now the customer service claims we put "extra force/weight" on it that caused it to break so they won't do a refund. Honest to God, at most we put cups of coffee or dessert plates on it on a day to day basis. I really regret not returning it right away on day 1. By the way, the customer service phoneline NEVER picks up your call, it just always leads straight to a voicemail. We are very disappointed and hope EQ3 can just give us back the money we spent on a piece of furniture that doesn't even stand up right.

Jeanette Frost: I have just made a purchase of 2 sofas for my apartment I have chosen to buy the sofas at EQ3 due to their excellent staff and their products are made in Canada. I had 2 sales representives assist me in my purchases. They were both extremely knowledgeable in deliveries, construction and fabric selection. The did not use high pressure sales tactics - they explained the product, answered all of my questions and gave me time to ponder my purchases before signing. Now just waiting for the sofas to arrive!

Bob Cop: Saw a 50% sale sticker on product but staff declined to honor the price because of their “system didn’t allow it”. Later overheard it’s possible but the manager decided to not offer assistance. Seems like an unfair business practice when they could’ve chosen to do the right thing for the customer.
Benjamin Quan: Checked out the office chairs for about 10 mins and nobody offered any assistance even though there were about 5 employees, doing whatever, and 2 other customers just looking around. I had high hopes for the store since multiple friends recommended it to me. Oh well...

Ivy Chan: We have a 5 seat Oskar sectional couch, we love this couch so much and ended up buying the headrests for it. We figured such a reputable company would create high quality products that would be worth the $3500 we paid for it. We are exceptionally clean and never eat on our couch, and yet somehow the headrests have rusted into our couch. Now why would a $235 headrest start rusting when there is no water involved whatsoever? Upon contacting support apparently rust is not covered under protection. Which I guess makes sense BECAUSE WHY WOULD AN INDOOR HEADREST START RUSTING IN THE FIRST PLACE? I’m so confused and frustrated. I’ve been recommending this place to all my friends and literally my entire circle of friends own the same couch. My whole living room is eq3 and after that ridiculous phone call with support, I just have no words any more.

Everything is so gorgeous! We were immediately obsessed and wanted to buy everything! We didn’t realize that the store closed at 6 but the owner stayed late with us to help us each pick out some beautiful peices because we were leaving the next day. We all work in retail so we know how annoying it can be when customers stay past closing but we did not feel rushed at all, she was very patient and helpful. You can tell that she really takes pride in every item that she has chosen to carry. I am in love with everything I bought, it adds such character to my apartment and I know that they are peices I will have for a long time. My friends and I still talk about how obsessed we are with this place. If you’re visiting Vancouver or lucky enough to live here you need to check this store out!!!

In my search for a silver moroccan pouf which I initially saw at the staging of a condo for sale - I was able to track it down to this unique boutique store in Gastown. From my initial call about the pouf - the benefits of stuffed or unstuffed - etc etc - Linda was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond what was expected of any retail store. I was a typical undecided woman regarding the color - and Linda was extremely helpful in helping me make that final decision. It's not often you find that kind of customer service. I have recommended her store many times to countless friends - and having a daughter-in-law who is an interior designer - I couldn't help but expound on her store - her inventory - almost every item in the shop caught my eye. Well worth the visit. A great place to do your Christmas shopping!
Admin: The owner, Linda, was so helpful when I was deciding on choosing my bed. I had so many designs in mind that I wasn't able to decide on what I wanted to get. She is so patient and explains everything that clients need to know before making purchases. She provides a great personalized service and really helped me to narrow down on what I needed the most. I love her pretty shop, and the price is reasonable compared to other furniture stores in downtown Vancouver. Very happy with the purchases from L'Atelier Home. Quality is top notch and the customer service even makes it better :) will be returning for sure!

Saw three that we liked (three more than all of the other stores) and had Harald help us. He was great. P Kwok: It was a nightmare in recent purchase in Industial Revoluyion Furniture. We paid the dining table, delivery and assembly fee in full in advance. Then in the delivery day, the installers didn't bring the needed hardware for the table assembly. So the table was just left unassembled at our home. We asked the installer to come back with the hardware to complete the assembly but no feedback. The shop asked us to go to their place to pick up used hardware but at the expense of our time. It is totally no customer service and just put the burden of other faults on us, the customer. Totally disappointed and frustrated.

Absolutely charming.

Daniel Pickard: I purchased a sofa from David at Novo. It looks great and is perfect for my space, however, after receiving it I discovered a defect. I reported the issue to David and was blown away by his exemplary customer service. He listened to my concerns and explained clearly the processes we would take to identify and resolve the issue. After it became clear that the sofa may need a repair, he communicated with the manufacturer and assisted with the claims process. I am now happy to say that the sofa has been returned in great shape. Following the other reviews, I feel like a broken record but cannot say enough how impressed I was with his customer service. He was knowledgeable, patient and genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction. Next time I am in the market for a sofa, Novo will be my first stop!

Sally D: Novo Furniture is one of Vancouver's hidden gems. It's worth a visit just to meet David, the owner, and have lots of laughs (and learn lots about furniture). He is such a delight--knowledgable, warmhearted, completely consumed with making the customer happy, and he has an absolutely no pressure sales style. I tried to 'cheap out' on couches for the past decade...first Ikea then Leon's and finally Cozey. Each sofa lasted less than 3 years. So, my $1200 investment each time didn't get me very far. And it's a terrible choice for the environment! I'm so happy that I found Novo--yes, it's a bit more expensive but it's still a terrific deal compared to other local manufacturers. For a $2600 investment (and free delivery!), I'm getting a couch that is custom designed for my height, my back issues, my need to have room for a cat and a dog to snuggle up with, and I will always have the option to alter anything that isn't quite right once I've had a chance to live with my new sofa. And Novo gives a 10 yearwarranty on the sofa. The only downside is the wait but I'm happy to wait 8 weeks to finally get a comfy, well-built couch that will last me for for years to come.

He’s been very helpful with finding us the perfect sofa and customizing it to suit us (fabric selection, cushion firmness, slouchy-ness factor etc). and has been so accommodating when I’ve requested changes after the fact, such as switching out standard wooden legs for some fabulous gold metal legs, or replacing a seat cushion with a firmer one to help my partner’s bad back. David is my “sofa guy” for life, and I will never buy a sofa from anywhere else!

There have also been a number of studies in Canada and Europe which reveal that people relax when they are surrounded by natural material such as real wood, due to a distinct calming of the nervous system…

Our Coquitlam Showroom, faces Barnet Highway, just 2 blocks from Coquitlam Centre. At 12,000 sq ft this space has a terrific assortment of furniture for the whole home: dining tables, chairs, sofas, coffee tables and occasional chairs, bookcases, beds, storage beds, and much more. Conveniently situated between Exclusive Floors and Benjamin Moore. This is a one-stop shop for the Tricities, Burnaby and Langley areas.
We visited so many furniture stores before we got to Creative Home Furnishings and no one, absolutely no one, provided the kind of personal, truly caring/interested service that this firm did when we were shopping. Privately owned obviously makes a difference and we will be future customers- guaranteed!

Had an engaging tour of the local and high end jewellery, I could live there it's so nice. Parking is atrocious though, but if you're on foot, take a minute to pop in. No regrets. Seems like a team that's knowledgable and really like what they do.

I was on the waitlist for a YEAR for the popular KOTINOS WREATH, just to be told that the manufacturer (Bliss Studio) changed how the wreath looks. I don't know why The Cross and their manufacturer Bliss Studio didn't honour what they promised to customers. The Cross should have told the manufacturer that they had customers waiting for a year for this specific style of the wreath. Instead, I get an email saying how the wreath is still beautiful and structurally sound from their employee. Wow! No acknowledgement of the inconvenience after making me wait a year for a product and probably other customers too. Which company puts you on waitlist for a year for a product? The Cross didn't even try to resolve this issue with their manufacturer. The manufacturer Bliss Studio still claims to sell the old Kotinos wreath on their site. Other sellers still claim to have the old Kotinos wreath, because the manufacturer hasn't informed them of the "NEW Kotinos Wreath". How does a manufacturer just change its products without informing its suppliers? I don't know why The Cross is carrying products from such a misleading manufacturer. It's unheard of waiting a YEAR for a product and then disappointing your customers. Please avoid this place, they don't care about their customers!

He was honest about the longevity of the couches depending on how much use you put on it. Prices are super reasonable and I caught a great deal where the sticker price was inclusive of all taxes with free shipping. Very happy with our purchase and experience at the store. Keltan Walker: Viewed their inventory online and it appeared they had some pretty nice looking bar stools. We live close by so we walked there only to discover they had NONE! False advertising, very poor experience. Do not recommend.
Brigitte Gemme: We needed a sectional for our family, kids are getting too big to all fit on the 3-seater sofa and comfortably watch a movie! We are normally an IKEA kind of family (our previous couch from there lasted us 10 years) but nothing there appealed to me. I found Lifetime via Craigslist posts and walked in there to check out the goods. They definitely don't woo you with the store's decor - and that is perfectly great for me, as it is also reflected in the reasonable prices. We rapidly settled on a model we liked (I love it when there aren't too many options!), put a deposit, and ordered. Delivery was supposed to be in late May and turned out to come in late June, but really is there any supply chain that isn't disrupted these days? Vikas delivered himself and was very nice about showing how to do the final assembly of the legs, which we did ourselves. The fabric of the sofa is really nice and soft, the foam is just the right firmness, and the two pieces of the sectional hold nicely together. Time will tell but it looks so far like this will be a very durable item in our home.
