Xyz Abc: Mandy is FANTASTIC. I came in to return an online order. For some reason their system showed one of the products had already been returned----I am guessing it had something to do with the price adjustment I got via a Best Buy live chat agent a few days prior. Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.
Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

haidar Alsaady: Had an open box return on a TV that just didn't fit our space the way we wanted. I had lost the original receipt and was worried that might cause issues. Customer service was excellent, reprinted my receipt for me and helped me quickly exchange the TV for a different one. The team leader was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing job!!
Mohammad Hosseini: In the mobile section, a rude guy lied to me about the inventory of a certain phone, and after asking the other employees and figuring out that the phone exists, they tried their best to not sell it. they behaved like I am fraudulent. I don't know what was the reason maybe they were all racist. and saddest part was that even the manager "Teri" didn't give a s**t about our problem.
Frankie Lamb: The sales associate in the cell phone section knows nothing. The unlocked Google 6a phone with no contract has $150 discount posted on their website for several days already and the associate kept insistingit's not on sale and was tryingto persuade me to sign a contract to get the discount. Don't shop at this store.

Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.
Hossein ShirMohamadi: Before shopping from Best buy, I contacted an agent to learn more about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series printer online. They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Cashier thought it was garbage and I didn’t even notice my ticket was gone by the time I went back to the parking lot and had to pay $25 for a lost ticket. Seriously irresponsible to touch your customer’s things while they are in the store STILL BUYING A PRODUCT. I didn’t leave garbage on the counter on purpose I just took everything out of my pocket because the cashier needed to see my ID. I took everything with me on the way out I wouldn’t have left garbage for others to clean up.

Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.

Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

A Dem: This is the best Indigo that I’ve been to here in Vancouver. The place was clean and well-organised with enough space for everything they’re selling, I love looking through their book isles on the second floor. The workers are friendly and helpful.
Philip: Ordered 4 of the same book online to be picked up at this store location for me and my friends. They gave a store pick up date, but when the day came, the books haven't even been shipped out yet.I had to call and find out what was going on and they gave a lot of excuses and said that I'd have to call the warehouse. Warehouse said that they would prioritize my order (even though it's been 9 days since I made the order) to get it shipped out.Finally, 2 weeks after the initial order date that books arrived at the store. However, they only had 3 out of the 4 books I initially ordered.It's a nice store and I enjoy visiting in person, but for anything online related I'll be sticking with Amazon from now on.

The item was ready for pick up free of charge at the Kitsilano Shop the next day. Street parking at that location was readily available, so that was a bonus. The staff were courteous and brought out the item quickly. The whole process was easy and smooth.

Once I bought a plant across the street and when I went in to look at plant pots at Old Faithful, the owner adopted a strange attitude when he asked where I bought the fig-leaf ficus. With a creepy smile his advice was to water my plant everyday. After looking up the specific plant care online, he had basically advised me to kill it. Shop anywhere else if you can - Out &About, Vancouver Special - I certainly will.

It did not seem healthy or like this was a safe professional workplace. You really need to check in on your employees and do performance reviews or something. Super scary!!!! Will not be shopping here again.

I was at my wits end trying to find something to wear at a wedding in two days and having gone all over Vancouver , this was one of my final stops. Cue Sylvia , who swiftly gave me a few options, and started a changing room for me, she deftly guided me through the racks asking all the right questions. Then I met maeve who helped me zip up a couple dresses and brought up a few belt options for me to pair with my chosen dress. She also chose a beautiful bag for me which I ended up purchasing. My checkout with Cecilia was seamless! All three ladies gave 5* service and I'll definitely be back . Having a size 16 body at Anthropologie was no barrier, they had decent well cut options to choose from, and if you're looking for a wedding guest dress definitely go here!

Manju: I went to the store today to purchase laptop.Our associate,loveleen assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though She has told us about the warranty plan . Its a great service by Loveleen.
K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎

I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄

Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

Francis Leong: Amazing experience. Went to apple store and try get latest iPhone 12 with the initial thought might be a long queue. Seems like quite a number of people is there for online reservations and collection. I went for normal queue to buy iPhone 12 on the spot which there's only 3 or 4 people before me. Very good shopping experience with Apple Store and its customer specialist.

Raphael Mendes: I've been using Apple products since 2016, and I have never had a lousy consumer experience in their stores as in this store. I went there last week to buy a gift for my wife to celebrate our 9th anniversary and buy an Apple Watch. I could not buy the gift or the watch because nobody helped me, even though someone put my name in what I thought was an online query. I thought that maybe it was just a bad day and tried it again and returned to the store today. Again, nobody asked if you needed help, and there was no clear sign of what you should do and with whom you should talk to have your name listed in the query.I have visited several Apple stories, and in all of them, the consumer experience is fluid and effortless. Maybe Apple's Pacific Centre needs someone at the front door or a sign saying where to put your name to be helped.

A dozen phone calls with Apple later they finally agreed to replace my computer, but charged me erroneously for it, and twice the amount of the new computer. Sorry but Apple customer service is getting really bad and their system is a mess.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Gabrielle Zeitler: This review is not specific to Park Royal Best Buy, but Best Buy as a whole.We purchased a dishwasher, the installation fee, and the haul away fee. When the contractors came, I mentioned to them that we paid to have our old dishwasher taken away as well (a separate fee) but they said they knew nothing about it. They then left without taking the old dishwasher.When we I contacted customer service at Best Buy to handle this, I was passed around to 4 different people before being told that only one department handled these inquiries, and that they can only be reached by phone (fine).I have called this department over 10 times within their office hours and they either do not pick up, or do not offer solutions. I have spoken to so many different people and no one has been helpful. We have even tried offering solutions, but they say none of them can be done. It has been a very frustrating experience and my old dishwasher is still sitting outside my house.

Went up to the cash to pay and then got told they’re 112.99 I refused and showed them the picture of the price it was posted at and they refused to give it to me at that price because the product didn’t match the tag. I brought up the fact that if it was still wrong they’d have to honour it and take 10 dollars off because it is a law, they still refused to give it at the price and I had asked for the manager. The manager walked over and was told the situation and they just nodded their head and didn’t say anything . Very disappointed in the service that was provided, if your staff knows that the product is in the wrong place then there should be proper tags for the products. I will not support this location of Best Buy. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and it’s posted in the back on a plague that if products are in the wrong place they must honour the pricing and taking 10 dollars off.

D S: Best buy has a lot of good deals, but money is better spent on amazon if you're doing an online order. Best buy uses Purolator and your packages almost never get delivered. Amazon actually delivers your packages to your door. With Purolator, you'll be chasing down your package, calling them and messaging them to ask them to hold your package at their location, after which you need to take the bus out there. This is REALLY inconvenient to Best Buy customers, I would suggest they review this and see how they can make it better! Perhaps the Purolator shipping information could contain a Buzzer Number field, and phone number field to help the drivers actually deliver the package? If you need a signature, you might as well just have them leave a slip and have the customer pick it up from a Purolator office. Purolator fails to deliver packages 9/10 times. Best Buy definitely needs to review this, because it's not working the way it is.

G S: Ex Best Buy staff here but I was at HQ, so I know how good they there in order giving good experience for their customers. Anyway, I can't remember during peak time do they store staff get additional incentive like sales commissions? The moment I step into this stores it's like lack of motivation. the staffs like more focus to chit chat among them specifically around mobile phone area. I still bought a phone cause of price matching or else would just walk away.
C Maxwell: I can see why Best Buy is going to go out of business. Went in on Boxing Day, there has to be at least 50 employees working but everyone is chatting up their colleagues. No one seems available to help and when we tried to check out we had to wait a long time to be noticed by the groups of staff. For some reason they closed the mall exit till like 10 minutes before closing? I get that it’s a holiday but for someone who want to support employment it makes it hard not shop at Amazon instead. Huge waste of time, effort and fuel.
