In between they did some plumbing maintenance for us. All their work has been excellent.The team is exceptional. They chose excellent quality heating and cooling systems for our home. They helped us rule out systems that would be incompatible with our older house, outlined the pros and cons of more suitable options, answered all our questions, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were easy to be around. SynC C: your drivers are dangerous to other drivers' safety. Was driving towards Vancouver this morning @730am May 5/23 on Arthur Lang bridge. Your driver (young looking male bald headed/shaved head with glasses) in a REID BROTHERS company van was behind me & all of a sudden sped up & cut me off, almost clipping the right side of my vehicle. Its raining & slippery on the deck of the bridge. How irresponsible & obviously no regard for others safety. I would never call you for service.

The estimate was clear and detailed.The installation lasted 3 days, went exactly as planned and was fantastic. They communicated clearly and were easy to work with. The hot water came back on even sooner than promised. The installer answered all of my questions and shared a ton of useful information, and explained everything about the combination boiler / water heater.And the boiler room looks way better than before!I have the sense the the folks working on the house took pride in a job well done, and I appreciate that so much!I've used another major name in Vancouver for my old hot water heater, and it was not a good experience. Dorothy Chan: Called in for a simple heating system repair (we still use the old hot water heating) but the repairman was an hour late. Got super fed up with us and rather then showing us his credentials and fixing the problem, tried to upsell and new heating system to us. We got a second opinion and it only costed $250 plus tax. Shamim Brown: We found Reid Brothers to be professional, efficient, and very reliable. From the beginning of our three projects to the end, their team has been most thorough. I was contacted by Brian, their Project Manager, at the beginning of our projects. He stayed in touch and walked us through every step of the way from start to finish. He told us what to expect and when service would start and end. He also did follow-ups upon completion of the projects. Technicians, Richard and Sam came in to check on our gas furnace and hot water heater (the latter had a slow leak), and to check on our kitchen sink tap which needed replacement. They also connected our new fire pit to our existing gas line. Not only did they do a thorough job of all three, but they went the extra mile - while Richard worked on checking the furnace and hot water tank, Sam finished setting up the partially completed fire pit for us. Both were extremely professional, courteous and congenial. Technicians, Tom and Matt came in to install the tankless water heater which we opted to have put in. They too were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, very thorough, and completed the project in a timely and efficient manner. TC: REID BROS. came to our home on many occasions. However, their negligence on the last visit caused major damages. Initially the owner at Reid told us that the co. would be accountable and we finally got paid by our insurance company months after the event but they only paid out 1/3 of the repair. When our insurance co. proceeded to recover damages from REID BROS., they denied they were even at our home as they never sent an invoice for the repairs and now our insurance co. is asking for the coverage to be repaid back to them in part.....UPDATE ....we the owners found video from RING that REID BROS were at our home and now they will have to pay for Damages ....but buyer beware regardless...!!!Service:Toilet repair

K McMartin: Living in Ontario, we mistakenly paid a plumbing bill electronically in February 2021 to Reid plumbing in Vancouver instead of in Ontario. These are two separate companies in different provinces that happen to have similar names. We contacted this company in Vancouver to explain our mistake and to ask for our money back. Reid Brothers in Vancouver said they would send our money back but we received nothing. Subsequently, our bank lodged an investigation in April 2021. Why did Reid Brothers in Vancouver accept and keep money that was mistakenly sent to them (and not owed to them)? In April, via telephone AND VOICEMAIL, Reid Brothers promised to return the money not owed them. Now, in mid May, still crickets.....
DeeDee Nelson: I want to thank Reid Brothers once again for being there when I have needed them. I have been calling them for five years, as everyone in our apartment building also does. They are always professional on the phone and in person. When I had my most recent plumbing issue they showed up quickly and efficiently, on time, and did a beautiful job. Very reasonable fees as well. This is wonderful customer service and care and I will definitely be calling the team the next time I need any plumbing or heating systems work done. K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎

I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄

Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

I was able to pick out a killer Y2 jacket and left a happy man. I was basically dying of heat stroke by the time I got to the store, so I’m grateful for TJ’s patience and help.I will also say that while we were in the shop a rougher looking man from the local street community came into the store and started trying on clothing. TJ was completely respectful to the guy and didn’t kick him out or make a scene, I think that really speaks to his character.

The pieces are expensive, but most things are that will last long enough to give to your grandkids. Every order comes with a hand-written note from TJ, and watching him hand-hem your new jeans on one of the rarest sewing machines around is pretty f&$king cool. When you’re ready to leave a store feeling like you got yourself something truly special, get down there.

Angela: Poor customer service from Simi, she helped us with our transaction and tried to sell us $50 for 2 years warranty. Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt.We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".

But Instead of being honest and introduce everything, she added them to the bill without our consent when we ready to pay.We didn’t figure out the calculations right away and already took out our credit card. We know there’s tax on the $2200 TV so few more hundred dollars on top seemed making sense.After we really looked at the computer screen, we found out S added all costs to us and how unethical she tried to do the business.It’s is Best Buy, you don’t do business like this. Each staff represents the Company.Be honest to sell!She was angry and left the counter right after we caught her trick.Of course we didn’t get the TV and also wasted an hour of our time.FYI, my wife was the Operation Manager.

I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Today, Prab being helpful did an awesome job finding not only the stylus pen but also the power cable included with the box. Gabrielle Zeitler: This review is not specific to Park Royal Best Buy, but Best Buy as a whole.We purchased a dishwasher, the installation fee, and the haul away fee. When the contractors came, I mentioned to them that we paid to have our old dishwasher taken away as well (a separate fee) but they said they knew nothing about it. They then left without taking the old dishwasher.When we I contacted customer service at Best Buy to handle this, I was passed around to 4 different people before being told that only one department handled these inquiries, and that they can only be reached by phone (fine).I have called this department over 10 times within their office hours and they either do not pick up, or do not offer solutions. I have spoken to so many different people and no one has been helpful. We have even tried offering solutions, but they say none of them can be done. It has been a very frustrating experience and my old dishwasher is still sitting outside my house.

Didn’t end up getting it but when I was leaving I noticed they had 4 sets of joy cons priced at 21.99 so I grabbed a set because I thought hey they’ve gotta honour it especially if they’ve got 4 there. Went up to the cash to pay and then got told they’re 112.99 I refused and showed them the picture of the price it was posted at and they refused to give it to me at that price because the product didn’t match the tag. I brought up the fact that if it was still wrong they’d have to honour it and take 10 dollars off because it is a law, they still refused to give it at the price and I had asked for the manager. The manager walked over and was told the situation and they just nodded their head and didn’t say anything . Very disappointed in the service that was provided, if your staff knows that the product is in the wrong place then there should be proper tags for the products. I will not support this location of Best Buy. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and it’s posted in the back on a plague that if products are in the wrong place they must honour the pricing and taking 10 dollars off.

D S: Best buy has a lot of good deals, but money is better spent on amazon if you're doing an online order. Best buy uses Purolator and your packages almost never get delivered. Amazon actually delivers your packages to your door. With Purolator, you'll be chasing down your package, calling them and messaging them to ask them to hold your package at their location, after which you need to take the bus out there. This is REALLY inconvenient to Best Buy customers, I would suggest they review this and see how they can make it better! Perhaps the Purolator shipping information could contain a Buzzer Number field, and phone number field to help the drivers actually deliver the package? If you need a signature, you might as well just have them leave a slip and have the customer pick it up from a Purolator office. Purolator fails to deliver packages 9/10 times. Best Buy definitely needs to review this, because it's not working the way it is.

G S: Ex Best Buy staff here but I was at HQ, so I know how good they there in order giving good experience for their customers. Anyway, I can't remember during peak time do they store staff get additional incentive like sales commissions? The moment I step into this stores it's like lack of motivation. the staffs like more focus to chit chat among them specifically around mobile phone area. I still bought a phone cause of price matching or else would just walk away.
C Maxwell: I can see why Best Buy is going to go out of business. Went in on Boxing Day, there has to be at least 50 employees working but everyone is chatting up their colleagues. No one seems available to help and when we tried to check out we had to wait a long time to be noticed by the groups of staff. For some reason they closed the mall exit till like 10 minutes before closing? I get that it’s a holiday but for someone who want to support employment it makes it hard not shop at Amazon instead. Huge waste of time, effort and fuel.

Tomasz Kampioni: Great Service. I called the company when our furnace stopped working. It was after business hours. Moe called me and spent with me on the phone 20 minutes to help troubleshoot the problem and eventually get it work again. There was no charge for the service. Highly recommended.
Janis Crawford: My fireplace was sporadically shutting off and Reliance Mechanical was able to fit me in the day I called. Very quick and efficient, explained what he was doing and gave some great advice! He even gave me a discount, which was much appreciated. I will definitely recommend my strata use them in the future for our annual inspections.
Roxanne: Called Reliance Mechanical on a Sunday, when our furnace stopped working. Pilot light would not light. Moe came to the house within an hour, and fixed the furnace in less than an hour (replaced defective thermal coupler). Very professional, knowledgeable, and charged a fair rate. His competition quoted us a substantially higher overtime rate to come out on a Sunday . Will absolutely use Reliance Mechanical for future furnace and hot water tank repairs. Note, we called Reliance Mechanical after reading the highly positive reviews posted about them online. So happy that we did!
roy tanami: I would highly recommend Reliance. I called them for a broken furnace and the first thing Moe did was to make suggestions on the phone as to how to check basic things myself to get the furnace working - completely free, unselfish advice given over the phone. When those things didn't work, Moe was here within an hour, and fixed the problem. In addition, it turned out there were two problems with the furnace (its old), so Moe had to come out again later that day - at dinner time on a Saturday no less - to resolve the second problem - and to top it all off, he was hesitant to take payment for the second call. IMO, it is rare and refreshing to find good, honest, "old school" service like this these days.
Dan Butler: Called at 6:30 pm on a cold winter Saturday night in February when my furnace wasn't working. Moe gave me a suggestion about what the problem might be and how to fix it. I gave it a try and sure enough he solved the problem. I much appreciated his advice, and would definitely recommend Reliance Mechanical.
Kathi Ward: Just wanted to share my wonderful experience about Moe. Have been trying to get my fireplace repaired for three years and have been told by several companies that they would not be able to access the part I needed and that it would be extremely expensive. After researching on line I found Moe and he came out and looked, just happened to have the part and repaired it perfectly and was very reasonable. His work is excellent, he left everything very clean after he finished and he was very reliable. Thanks to him my family is enjoying our first Christmas in years with a working fireplace. I would definitely recommend him and I will hire him if I have any other heating problems.

Vivian Wu: The sales person tried to sell the monthly plan from Geek Squad. That's a monthly plan charging you $ 26.94 and you can get your computer bought in the store fixed if there is any problems. We didn't have many chances to use this service so we want to cancel this plan after about half an year. The process of cancellation is not easy. They don't let you do it in the store but to use the web site's live chat. I've waited for 20 minutes and during this 20 minutes, I have to come back to live chat page to check if the agent is on the screen otherwise, my screen would be terminated. So I waited for the agent to talk to me and was told there is a cancellation charge of $ 9.54. Friends don't ever trust Best Buy's any plans. They charge you monthly but not much help. You don't have that many computer problems happening every month. It is totally a waste of money. And they charge you for the cancellation just because my plan was premium and there was a "liquid damage". Who the hell knows what that means if you don't have that much computer knowledge. They put this in the terms & conditions but the sales person didn't mention about this at all. If there is a fee like this, I wouldn't have singed up for this plan in the first place.

So I ended up having to buy an adapter for 30 bucks, I'm now down 120 bucks for something I didn't even ask for. I couldve just went on Amazon and bought what I was looking for for 30 bucks instead. Left the store feeling like I just got robbed. Terrible customer service with no accountability. You guys just lost a life time customer.

I came in looking to buy gifts within a price range, but no idea what I wanted, and she brought me through so many possibilities and options with so many ideas.
