The Keefer Bar: what do users think?
Roger Chan: Excellently crafted drinks.
Michael MacFynn: Great experience thanks for the daiquiris!
Anita Mistry: Amazing place with yummy drinks and delicious food! I was visiting Vancouver and this place was suggested to us by multiple people. The ambience is great with dark lighting. We sat at the bar and all the bartenders was super friendly. Our bartender Asia made perfect drinks and had great suggestions. Asia was very friendly and helped us feel very comfortable.
Andy Chiang: This is a cool little bar in Chinatown that plays homage to its roots with its interior decoration and food offering. And I will say, this is probably the BEST value happy hour that you can get in Vancouver.First, for happy hour, they have specially selected cocktails, a beer, and a couple of alcohol pours. It’s very rare that you can find a well made cocktail from a top notch bar like this one, with happy hour pricing ($6-8).Next, all of their snacks and dim sum are 50% off during happy hour, meaning you can pay anywhere from $3-$6 for your food items. Finally, every cocktail you order is well crafted and a lot of thought and creativity are put behind them. The service is good, and the vibes are awesome. There’s a reason why there’s usually a line-up outside this place, and they certainly deliver. Note: because of its location, there can be some less than welcoming people around, sometimes hanging out on the patio outside for a quick break. Otherwise definitely worth checking out!
Arin Doruk Celikel: Always the best in Van
Edwin Singh: Great cocktails. Nice small bar with very cool colors, decor and vibe. Worth the try. Recommend the Rosemary Gimlet
Harman Singh: The person on the entrance was very rude, didn’t have any manners to talk to the customer.
Kate McMay: One of the best places in the city for cocktails hands down. I’ve sat at the bar a few times and it’s great to see the bartenders work but it would be awesome if the staff spoke up when they notice some guests leaning into other guests. With the seats being so close together and the alcohol flowing, some people have no respect for personal space which is so limited at the bar. Happy to enjoy a tight space if I don’t have to feel like I have to be ready for someone to continually lean / bump into me.
Lizeth Pavon: Delicious appetizers and drinks. Love the ambience too! Thank you for a wonderful experience! 😊 🌊💛🌊🙏🏽✨
Danielle: Too many cocktails to choose from, but that's always a good thing!
Kira Jones: This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in BC so far! Best cocktails I have had in a long time. The lighting sets a relaxed mood and everyone is very friendly. Huge drinks variety and the food is extremely flavorful. Over all excellent!
Hiro Taira: Great experience with my friends from out of town. The fire pit outside is perfect for a spring night drink
Lynnea Van: Such a fun environment! A small little gothic style martini bar with amazing staff and wonderful cocktails! I'm only mad I hadn't heard of this place sooner!
Nigel Armstrong: Loved the vibe at the bar and I really enjoyed the cocktails. Bartender was super great! I would definitely recommend a visit.
Minh Ly Bui: Excellent selection of unique cocktails, all very tasty. Bar tender very attentive and very safe for ladies going by themselves. Saw an incident where bartender saw an expression from a lady n kept her safe strangers. Kudos to u guys! Keep up the great service!
Saide Nur ALP (saide’s): The best shots in town(key lime)! The place has an elegant vibe, friendly staff, but little portions.
Flora: BEST cocktail bar! Went on a wednesday night and got thier rosemary gimlet on special and a dragon fly. Both drinks presented beautifully and tasted scrumptiousn. From the fish tank in the wall, to the resin countertops, the vibes are off the wall and perfect way to enjoy a drink. The live performer also played great music to set the tone. Parking is free but reccomened to transit here due to the sketchy area. The building looks plain on the outside and unassuming but it feels like you walk into another world as soon as the door is open Will definitely come back here again!
Bnj: Love it!Must try to espresso martini
Christine Taylor: I absolutely love this place. It’s been a while since I been, but I celebrated a couple birthdays here and it’s a really cool vibe. The Rosemary Gimlet is top!!
Jason Scharf: Keefer bar understands hospitality like few establishments do. Well done.
Mariam T: Amazing Service! The Keefer Bar has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wonderful alchemist doing her magic creating Devine drinks. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Back and Forth Bar: what do users think?
Emi B: Cool little spot for a drink and ping pong with friends. Raegan is super nice and treated us to a free shot too
Rana D: Great fun. Although the place is rundown and floors are pretty uneaven
Herschel Andoh: Great place to unwind and have fun with a great vibe!
A B: Great fun with a group. Good quality ping pong tables. Great drink selection.
Fernando Jáuregui Trujillo: Great concept! Poor cleaning
Reyanna Nicolas (Reyanna): We went on a Wednesday evening so its a slower night. We felt like we were having a private place to celebrate a special occasion. It was fun! Bonus is that they a a Guinness on tap. ✨
George Mack: Drinks are ok but the staff working behind the bar is terrible. One guy was trying to convince me that masks are stupid when I was wearing one and another Filipino /Asian guy was so rude he would give me attitude every time I tried getting his attention or ordering. wouldn’t go back. They need new staff behind the bar
Rohith Manhas: Great meetup stop
Leticia Calderon: I didn't like it. The guy at the door was very nice tho, only because of him I am rating 2 stars, but overall experience... nah.
Zhi Zhang: Had lots of fun here, great pint prices
Alejandro Hernandez: Unfortunately this was the only place open late night for drinks… the floor was dirty and staff was unfriendly
Nishaan Dulay: Great establishment. Fun with a group of friends to play table tennis or they may let you play beer pong on the tables. Would return for a good time, I advise showing up with a large group so you can command a table or two.
Raphaela vargas: Funny but no food available
Salina Siu: Nice place to chill. You pay for each drink at the bar as you order so you can move around and change tables. This is great for a big group when you don’t know who will arrive or what time! They also have a variety of games like Taboo, Pictionary, Never Have I Ever, etc. lots of options.Only thing is that they have no food so you can bring in takeout or get delivery. Bringing in pizza was a popular choice! Also the neighbourhood is pretty sketchy.
Sally Noble: We hosted a company event at The Back and Forth Bar and it was fantastic! Jacob and Regan were great to work with - can't thank them enough for their flexibility.
Sofía Unda: Last night I went to the bar and I opened a tab (left my credit card at the bar). The night was alright, we played, drank beer, whatever. Later I paid the bill and we left. However, today I noticed a weird activity with that same credit card - transfers to other accounts were made. I don't mean to accuse anybody, but it has been the one and only moment I ever separated from the card. Weird. It could be a bad coincidence, but I wanted to share this experience just in case. Not sure what happened, but not coming back again.
Adam Kingdon: Place is pretty cool, lots of ping pong tables
Rahul Sapra: Amazing place to have a drink and play table tennis. The place makes you fall in love with the game. The owner there is amazing and I suggest visiting on Weekdays rather than weekends to enjoy some time drinking and playing peacefully rather than being crowed.King Kong shots are recommended and the arcade options are also really nice.
Kevin Li: It’s a great place with cheap beers and lots of fun playing ping pong. Highly recommended for a casual place for larger groups. Like people say it’s near a sketchy area but just come from gas town instead of Hastings and you’ll be fine.
Hayden Coutts: Came here last night for the first time ever. Had probably the worst customer service experience ever. Thought I’d check the Google Reviews to see if anybody else has experienced this - many have.To the Asian bartender that wears glasses: I sincerely hope that whatever causes you to treat guests with such disrespect, I hope you find the healing you need. You have so much hate in your heart and clearly it’s been going on for a long time as several other people have reported your behaviour as well. I speak with truth when I say that I hope you find help. There are some people in the world who are just born with the sinister energy you give off but if that’s not the case with you and there’s something in your life causing you to act that way - I hope you can fix that and turn your life around. If I were a social justice warrior I’d probably hop in a bunch of Facebook groups to warn people to never come here but I don’t have the time or energy at the moment. I’ll definitely spread the word among people I know that this place is ruined by miserable people. To the next person who has this experience and reads this review: just look at how the bar “owner” responds to criticism. It’s a joke. I’m sure a local news outlet would love to spread awareness on this story. If they happen to delete their responses to criticism just let me know - I took screenshots! :)Sending this message with love.Cheers
Vatsal Shah: Love it! Arcade and table tennis tables too! Amazing place and loads of space to hang out inside !

Alibi Room: what do users think?
Debi kim Birss: Was here many years ago in my clubbing days...today it's a chill place with great menu and drink choices. Nice outside seating to enjoy summer nites. We be back again. Love the beet Humus so good. Kiss the chef!
John Francois: Busy spot, reasonably priced for Van and staff were super friendly. Would go again
Layla Kim: Hidden gem!💎
J Lovemore: Always a great vibe
Lynx Chase: Updated:The first time I came here, although the food and drink were great, I had a bit of an unsavoury experience with customer service based on an internal miscommunication which I mentioned in my first review that I had left with three stars, explaining what had happened. They replied right away and offered a visit on the house, saying I should email them to set it up. I spontaneously went tonight, however I hadn’t reached out to management yet to arrange anything. Since I enjoyed the food and drinks during my last visit, I didn’t mind going back and paying since I genuinely liked what I ordered. When I walked in I guess they must have recognized me from The photo I have on my Google profile and said that my visit would be covered.Anyways I very much appreciate that they offered this to make up for the misunderstanding from my last visit, it was very considerate and kind of them. The service was great this time; food and drink once again amazing.I got the braised short rib which was phenomenal and so tender, didn’t even need a knife to cut through the meat. The drink I got I think was called the bourbon renewal, which is the one with cassis. It is an Excellent cocktail and I highly recommend for any bourbon lovers out there.I will definitely be back here. Much appreciation to the management for following up 🏼
Ally Courtney: An amazing venue to throw an engagement party! Geoff, Allister (sp?) and the staff were amazing from start to finish. They made sure our guests were well looked after and made sure that myself, my fiance, and our family felt very special. Would highly recommend. Thanks Alibi room!
Natasha Jaswal: Hosted a networking event for 40 people on the bottom floor for my company and it was such a great vibe, amazing staff and a pleasure to work with everyone at Alibi Room. Highly recommend hosting any of your events here. Thank you so much for everything!
stephen milton: Often busy, but the atmosphere is great, and the staff are lovely.
Rodolfo Jose Quilantan Tapia: Perfect for a chill atmosphere
JJ: This is my first time here, and we had a great time . We sit by the bar, and we lenjoyed it. Our servicer, Blaize, was very knowledgeable and friendly. She knows everything about the beer and the food . We were amazed by how much she knew about everything on the menu. She is super nice and outgoing. We ordered craft beer , a couple flights. The wings we ordered were delicious and loved our beer. We will definitely invite our friends and come back again.
Mahsa Al: I liked the atmosphere, but there is not much on the menu. The quality was okay but quite expensive. I also ordered a cocktail, which was nice.
Glenn Hickey: Good food and beer , had to wait over 45 minutes with only 2 people before us ?
R.A.M: Is the most dirty restaurant disgusting food and beer and restaurant smelling so bad
Harrison Richer: They are more than happy to seat you right away
Chere Croteau: Just stopped for drinks. As always great service and welcoming. Left just as it was getting busy.
Vasisht Raghavendra: Dinner with a bunch of friends meeting after a long time. Started with a round of drinks - Beer flight, wine, rum and a couple non alcoholic drinks. For starters, we ordered Chicken Wings and the Patatas Brava(Pan Fried Potatoes in Chipotle sauce) which were good. The best dish was the Primavera Risotto which is also a vegetarian option. This was the highlight of the dinner menu and was unlike any Primavera we had tried before. Very delicious! We also ordered the Vegetarian Burger and it was good too.
Julie “Chronfused” Barrera: Fab friendly service with a stellar selection of taps and snacks. Made a reservation and got such a nice table saved for us. They didn’t hover but also didn’t leave us untended to in the least.
aut jen: Andy was such a great server! I had the short rib off the Fresh Sheet and it was 11/10Amazing atmosphere and the best accommodations for my 10 friends and I. You rock Alibi Room. Stay sexy ◡̈
jasonsalwayshungry: @jasonsalwayshungry Alibi room always brings the quality sour beers im after, but this crispy Pork Belly Sandwich with hoisin glaze, cabbage & carrot ginger-sesame slaw and jalapeño jam was beaming quality 2 pieces of pork belly over lapping perfect crisp on the pork and a flavour that took this sando easily into 9.2/10 rockets🚀 #gastown #vancouver #britishcolumbia #alibiroom #alwayshungry #foodcritic #foodie #porkbelly #vancouverfoodie #vancouvereats
Karan Verma: This is an awesome location within a charming and historic building. The seating options are diverse and the atmosphere is fantastic. Their menu of food and drinks offers a wide range of impressive choices. I decided to try something new and ordered the pork belly burger, which was absolutely delicious. Additionally, the fries were cooked to perfection and had an excellent flavor. The service was prompt and friendly. Overall, a superb place in Gastown that I'll definitely return to in the future.
Kieryn Murphy: Amazing food, great beer & friendly service!! Lovely atmosphere, love the trains rattling pass & being a little away from the touristy crowds

Score on Davie: what do users think?
Jacob Pallister: Popular sports bar, incredible food, and service. Could not have enjoyed our experience more. Even had the wife and 4 month old with me, they were very accommodating to us 🙏 did I mention their food? 🤤
Byron Sheardown: Good late night food. Service was professional but a bit too serious. Shared gender bathrooms was an interesting kinda fun experience on a Saturday night.
Harald Eberl: Good place to watch the game and good food with great 👍 service and Maggie our waitress was excellent.still a great place to meet friends
Sahiba Speaks: Honestly a wonderful place. Having a bad day or had bad service... come here and they will show you what customer service is all about. They also have a killer menu for Ceasars.. so yummy and filling. Their quick too especially for how packed they get. You will see what I mean. Nice chill vibe with great music. Great food menue as well. Definitely recommend. A nice happy vibe.
Amir salar soley: I was highly disappointed with the Mario Kart event. The lack of assigned tables meant we couldn't sit together, defeating the purpose of a social event. They reserved one table exclusively for the event, leaving me isolated in a corner. If I wanted to play alone, I could've stayed home and saved money. The event was a letdown and lacked the social experience I expected.
Adam McLean: Got their "share" chicken bites which were overpriced and under portioned, definitely not enough to share with anyone- felt more like a little kids portion. Worst thing was they gave me food poisoning, will definitely not eat from here again.
Steven Snidal: Good food service and staff were nice will come back
Sarah Becker: Food was delicious and the service very friendly.
AJ: Great atmosphere, and the Caesar’s are like a true meal!! They’re so so good! Coming back on a weekend to try their special for sure.
Amir Esmaili: We had a blast and a delicious meal and the staff was super friendly. Thanks for making our evening so special
Oziel Guerra: Always a blast with great atmosphere and good service. Their Caesars are awesome and instagram worthy!
Holly Burr: Great ambiance for going out on a Friday evening. We got the checkmate Caesar and the food was great. The pulled pork sandwich was alright besides that, everything else was great.
ludmila santos: We had to try some Bloody Caesar and Score was a great place to do so! The food was actually delicious, just like the drink!
Thomas Dymond: If you love a bloody marry (yes that’s what they’re, not a Roman military commander) you’re in luck. They have them on crack. Nice. Didn’t try the food just ate the drink. Loads of board games if your thing. Enjoy. At this point I’m just posting this for points.
David Cassidy: Super friendly staff every time I come here, plays decent music, chill vibe, great breakfast, next level Caesars -- I haven't had two Caesars back to back in years, fully warrants it though!
Andrea Pino-Olivares: Fun atmosphere and good music. Tried the burrito bowl and the Green curry rice bowl. They were good portions & tasty. Looks like a good place to hang out with friends. They even have some board games.
Me TK: Nice ambiance, polite and professional team, Tasty poutine and reasonable prices
Caroline Hurley: This place has such an amazing menu with lots of options! I brought my girlfriend and my 12 year old cousin and they both loved it as well. The food was fantastic, but the caesars are truly their selling point (you must get one!). My cousin loved the assortment of board games! We played battleship during our lunch.
Jeremy: Great food, great service, great atmosphere
Rodrigo Blejman: Good food and beer.
Spencer Klein: Food was amazing and the service was top notch.

Guilt & Co: what do users think?
Ziegfried Von Shrodder: Came here on Sunday, May 21st with my wife, and from the time we talked in to getting seated, we had excellent friendly service that I have not had in a while. I believe our servers name was Bradley. Super friendly guy who was attentive, I can tell they were very busy because it was a PACKED house and the music was off the charts. Western style tonight with an 1940’s flare, and bar tenders were quick and attentive as well. Highly Recommend this place. Glad we checked their online calendar for the type of music that was performing and playing tonight. If you get Bradley as your server you are lucky to have him. Staff are very professional even with the drunk idiots in the crowd! I’m sure every restaurant gets those! Check this place out! I highly recommend!
Amarjot Pabla: Been to this place many times. In the past, have enjoyed myself, but unfortunately tonight we experienced some unprofessional behavior. The man at the front, as we were exiting, stopped his coworker from stamping us for re-entry as he decided for us “because we would not be re-entering”. Not sure if this is a policy Guilt&Co has now, but from my past experiences, paying cover allows for re-entry later on. Kind of sad to see a place that I truly enjoyed fall to some horrible customer service. Maybe Guilt & Co can speak to this issue. Is re-entry not allowed after paying the same cover as everyone else in line? Kind of sad to see one of my favorite places in Vancouver fall to this type of behavior. I have so many good memories here, but unfortunately overshadowed by this staff member’s behavior.Followed up by going to Smith’s. Great staff, friendly, genuinely kind people. Highly recommend.**edit: I had a back and forth with the owner because I wanted to clarify some details. I received thoughtful responses and it seems like they are taking situations like this seriously. It’s nice to see that they are trying to improve. I have upped my star rating because of this and I hope the next time I visit, the staff will be as respectful and kind as I’m used to!
Suzette McFaul: Terrible experience. Was asked to leave as someone in my party was intoxicated. Not falling down or obxious. Maybe profiled because of age? Yes certainly older than average person. But really? Sad and disappointed tonight.
Federico baldacci: Great music plus great staff = great environment
David Geiman: Adoramos o lugar! Tinha uma banda ótima tocando e bons drinks!
Ricky Au: Fun live music that really makes you get up and dance. Their baked brie is so creamy and tasty too!
Bunny Brown: Cozy cave-like lounge with live music and great apps! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Indie entertainment here is great!
Linney Sylvester: Excellent vibes and dimly lit underground live music venue. The charge $6 per set of music. Drinks can be a bit pricey and the food is a limited, but the music is always good and so are the staff! I recommend happy hour to save a few bucks. I'd except to spend about $100 a person if u stay for few drinks and a few sets and snacks to share
Caitlin Carter: Drinks were unique and tasty, but they were overpriced and our server was rude.
T Gomez: Really enjoyed the live music and tasty drinks!
Kait B: Great cozy live music venue. Staff were great, up front and helpful when I contacted them beforehand to address some access needs. Grounds for Divorce cocktail is hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had! One star lost only because I'd expected more of the food, and there were some issues with my guest receiving their meal in a timely manner due to poor planning on the part of the kitchen.
Gabriela Ganancio: I recently visited Guilt to celebrate my birthday, and while the waitress who served us was good and very attentive, unfortunately, the evening got off to a bad start due to the unfriendly and rude staff/lady at the door. The staff member at the door seemed disinterested in providing even basic customer service and was unwelcoming from the start.Despite my attempts to engage in conversation and let the staff know that it was my birthday, they showed no interest and didn't even wish me a happy birthday. The staff member's negative attitude left a bad taste in my mouth and made me feel unappreciated and unwelcome.I hope that the management takes note of my complaints and takes steps to ensure their staff provides better customer service in the future. Birthdays are special occasions, and it's disappointing that my experience was marred by such poor treatment by this lady.Ps: Music it was very good!
stephen milton: Best atmosphere in Gastown. Good music, good service, and good vibes.
Marcel Laforge: Dope vibes
Filip Rerek: Excellent cocktails, live music, great appetizers and cool vibe! There's a cover charge to support the musicians which is a great idea :) Ms. Dos Santos was one of the most talented musicians we've ever listened to live!!! Keep the great music and exquisite cocktails going ;)P.S. the mezcal sour with an egg white on top was 10/10 and so was the garlic bread.
Tyler MacLeod: Great music venue for different tastes
Jason Kjorlien: Shopping ,a few restaurants & pubs nearby
Simran Gill: I have throughly enjoyed this place every time that I have been to it. I love how they encourage the works of local artists. It’s open everyday and hosts two shows- the early & the late show. They are both equally great. There is no reservation required as its first come first serve basis. You might end up sharing the table or standing at the bar as they try to accommodate as many people as possible. The food is average but the drinks are great. Definitely one of the must-dos in Vancouver!
Kajol Parikh: It was so loud, the drinks were okayish, the whole place too dark and a wait of 35 mins for all this!
Man Z.: Great place!
Sean Carey: Was not informed we’d be charged “per set”for cover charge. Was given the short straw, getting charged $12 for hearing 5 minutes of the first set. Waiting 40 minutes while the band took a break, and hearing 1-2 songs of the next set of the same Maroon 5 wannabe band, and getting charged another $12.All told I paid $24 to listen to ten minutes worth of music with my partner, at $20 a drink too. Maybe part of the cover is the set you hear in line while all the people who “know” someone who works there cut you. I am pretty sure the homies were being charged cover at all. Pretty disappointed.

Storm Crow Alehouse: what do users think?
Evan: I’m gunna miss this place. Where else can you find Jenga chickpea fries and delicious cocktails inspired by the likes of Harry Potter and chemistry labs, not to mention the best bread pudding around? Where else can you select a shot only through the roll of an icosahedral dice, or, similarly, randomly generate a burger with pulled pork and cheese curds in a lettuce wrap? Add some board games and card games while you’re at it.No other place around fills this deserved niche. It’s really a shame it’s coming to an end; I’ve had nothing but good times and delicious food and drinks here. So happy I got to enjoy it one last(?!) time. Also, mildly annoyed that some reviewer here had the audacity to give this place 2 stars, but gave 5 stars for…H-Mart.
Mark Denny: Great food, great drinks, it's a travesty they are closing today. Stormcrow, you will be sorely missed
Sailex Cahill (LinuxPony): Storm Crow is the best geek bar around! They serve everything from butter bear to romulan ale. You can even try you luck with a D20 to select a shot to down. With fandom memorabilia decorating the walls and a densely packed shelf of board and card games, this is the number one must visit bar in Vancouver.I'm very sad to see it go in a couple of days. I went back for one last time with a few friends and in going to miss it.
Leonardo Bocale: Going here has always been an amazing experience. Had to make my way back out to Vancouver when I heard it was closing. Great atmosphere from the walls to the food to the drinks, everything is on point. Please come back and reopen.
Levi Vader: Amazing atmosphere, splendid drinks and great service. Whether your a nerd or not, its a fantastic place to sit down and enjoy a funky drink.
Anna Sagittarius: it was my first time to come here and the place was so perfectly amazing, so cool🤩but sad to say they gonna close it so soon. Hoping they gonna bring it back so soon🙏
Nicky Anderson: You can search far and wideYou can drink the whole town dryBut you'll find a beer so brownAs the one we drink in our home town! You can drink your fancy alesYou can drink 'em by the flagonBut the only brew for the brave and trueComes from The Green Dragon!*It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your front door, you step into the road, and, if you don't keep your feet, there's no telling where you might be swept off to.*A fond farewell to the closest Vancouver ever got to the hobbit's The Green Dragon pub. This spot will be missed dearly and I hope the staff all has a wonderful next adventure. Thanks for all the fond memories and laughter you've provided over the years. Truly, thank you.
Lorri Prime: Sad that it's closing. It had interesting drinks and decor.
Anna Carroll: Best of Vancouver.
RiseATBomb: Este lugar está chido para los que aman lo retro, lástima que lo van a cerrar.
Kelly Spongberg: Sci Fi theme, drinks like Romulan Ale, Klingon blood wine, and roll 20 sided die for shots, and vegan food options. It is perfect.
Daniel Newbury: Delicious food, good ale, and friendly atmosphere
Swagoblin: Love everything about this place. Great atmosphere, great decorations and great food/drinks! However the staff has been nothing but rude to me everytime I’ve been here. I went in with friends and called prior to arriving to make sure they had space for us. When I had called, the guy on the phone said they were open til 11. As we arrived, the man seating us said that they would be closing early which gave us an hour to eat and drink (which would’ve been fine) but when I had said nicely that someone on the phone told me otherwise, he mocked me in an extremely rude tone, saying “yeah no we’re not staying open for one group” and started laughing at us. This isn’t the first time that someone has mocked me at this place. Unprofessional.
Ashlee Dunsmuir: Unique style pub !
Jordan W: Awesome service, delicious food, fair prices, and every geek's dream decor
Carys McConnell: This was a fun place to check out, the decor and style is quite unique! Had a variety of beer choices so was happy with that. The random shot roll of the dice game is a genius way to get people to order shots. Both me and my friend's shots were tasty. 4 stars because the food was good- nothing too special. Also the service was good but also nothing special.
Henrik Persson: Went there to play board games with some friends but they are no longer offering board games or card games. Please update the description here on Google Maps.Great atmosphere and decor, Good selection of beer and food, including vegan items. Hoping to go back with the correct expectations.
Ron Lange: I can't believe I haven't been there before! Great place with lots of cool nerdy stuff all over the place. The cocktails are really cool too.
J.D. Dueckman: Love the Storm Crow Alehouse; it had been too long since I was last there! Perfect dinner suggestion for my cousin who was in from out of town.
Aida E: Nice place. Nice drinks, food wasn't good
Calvin L: Best to go for their events rather than a general night out. I wish they made it clear that they no longer provide board games and you must bring your own. It can get loud with many people. Drink and appetizers were average and came out promptly. Service was good.

Irish Heather Shebeen: what do users think?
Simon Cleary: Great experience, nice atmosphere, was served by Jared who was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly and a great conversationalist. Will definitely be back!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Regional Scotch Flight, Bangers and Mash, Traditional Full Irish Breakfast, Stew Beef, Custom Charcuterie Board, Pot, Steak Sandwich …More
Kelsey: Their full Irish breakfast is the best kept brunch secret in Vancouver. I can roll out of bed at noon & don’t have to wait in line to get a delicious brunch! The best. My husband gets a perfectly poured Guinness. Everyone wins.
Haley du Fresne: Tasty bites and tasty beverages with a sneaky whisky room!Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
stephen milton: Lovely staff and the best (real) pint of Guinness in the city!
Sean Barry: The Staff are class and probably the only thing that keeps this place in business as the food lately is not fit for a dog. Drink here but do not eat unless you are a starving pig and want slop. And it’s priced like a high end restaurant.
LISA SHOARE: What amazing bunch of bar staff
Stephen Devlin: awesome gluten free food options! best selection of whisky and fresh guiness! favourite Irish pub!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Thomas Robson: Friendly, comfortable with good food at reasonable prices. If you find yourself in Vancouver's historic Chinatown and for some reason don't want Chinese food... Irish Heather would be a great choice.
Mike: Best pint of Guinness in the city.
bee keepness: Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fish and ChipsMore
Karli Kunzli: Had a great time here on Saturday night after a not so fun experience at Savoy Pub.The bartenders, Jared and Eamon, were very friendly, provided great service, and created an overall good experience. They also have a very extensive variety of whiskey for those interested.10/10 recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
Ira Sentesy: Good classic pub vibe.
BEHRANG EIGDER: Our server wasn’t polite and her attitude was very rude. Don’t waste your money and time.
skylar kehr: Our server was very rude from the moment we arrived. She later kicked us out because someone in our group asked where the washroom was twice. She said they must have been too drunk to have to ask twice, but no one in our group even asked where the washroom was to begin with. After reading other reviews it sounds like the staff and management are agents of the Poo Police task force. Will not return.
Marc Starbuck: Food has been poor last few times.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Sarah “Emmett” Race: I love this is my neighbourhood! I go there at least once a week for a pint of bitter and a meal.
Joe O Brien: Excellent food and drink, reasonable prices and great staff.A home from home pub if you’re Irish in downtown Vancouver.
Sean Colohan: Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Jason York (Jork21): I ordered the Stacked Corned Beef with Extra Corned Beef, Curry on my fries and Cheese on my fries as well!Ok, this was a spectacular sandwich! The curry sauce really amped up my fries. I only wish there was more mustard inside the sandwich, but you can always just order that on the side.Looking forward to trying other things on their menu next time I'm in the area.
Steven Evans: I like it!!!Recommended dishes Full Vegan, Traditional Full Irish Breakfast, Fish and Chips …More

PumpJack Pub: what do users think?
Peter Rocamora: Lame bar. wish I could give 0 star instead of 1.
Elías Salamanca: Si son latinos no asistan a este lugar !Son súper racistas y te atienden de súper mala manera todo el tiempo
Dave Decarlo: Awesome Professional Service from Harvey
Oscar Anchondo: Had the best time, overall extremely satisfied with my experience here, will be coming back
r d: Don’t let the other reviews deter you my first time in Canada the doorman and bartenders were so nice to me even tho I couldn’t even pronounce the Canadian beers offered . The staff was super cool good music and vibes go check it out ! Def will be back !
Stephen Schneider: If you like getting insulted by the bald bartender great place to go
Jeff Meelio: Awful staff, sketchy vibe
kshitij verma: Like it much better than junction
Javier Etcheverry: the attention of one of the bartenders leaves a lot to say
Matt G: Shout out to the tall beefy guy clearing tables! Thanks for making our night!
Cody Rawluk: This would be a 4-5 star review if the sassy server didn’t get mad at me for not tipping $5 ona. $5 bill
Javier Hernandez: Terrible experience, I thought they were friendly but I was wrong. one of the bartenders does not have a customer service protocol
Lorena Morales: I had a very bad experienceJust for resting my head for less than a minute, a tall white bartender told me to leave very rudely! It was my first time there and what a bad experience!Be nice!!!!!!Or at least have manners!!!
Noah McKinley: Went to this bar a lot. Absolutely fire. Got strippers and good priced drinks.
James Hawboldt: Friendly attractive staff makes a guy happy after drywalling all day long
Jack Harvey: Friendly staff and patrons, good drinks
Miky Foxx: Awesome atmosphereGreat DJ and very inclusive and welcome placeFriendly staff that make you feeling welcome
Kevin Duffy: Best staff in the world. Would love to hear more upbeat music later in the night!
Salvador Cornelio Marí: I consider PJ is overall the best gay experience to go out in Vancouver. But honestly many things could be better. For example the music, the sound system makes the experience uncomfortable, I love dancing and I am flexible with the music genres, but not sure what is going on with the audio there. Most bartenders are nice but some of them really need holidays or find a job that they enjoy, their attitude is rude, we are paying $10 to have a good time 🤷🏻‍♂️ oh the dancers are really great!
Andrew Gin: Left to check out other venues and upon coming back we showed our stamps and they told us to wait in line in instead of letting us in.
Scorpio Arias: Karaoke at Pumpjack ended my birthday night. I've always loved gay bars for their welcoming and fun atmosphere while being a space where I can let my hair down, without having to fight off potential suitors.I noticed that this bar had various themed nights and made a note to visit on Wednesday for karaoke. The lwereast time that I've been out for karaoke was two years ago, so this was a welcomed reprieve. The bar wasn't packed, but there were enough people for it to feel full. There was the main lounge area - at the entrance - then the karaoke area - then an area with a pool table.I quickly found seating at the bar and enjoyed a night of karaoke and fabulous men and women who were all so very friendly and fun. There are a couple of other themed nights that I wanted to attend (leather and teddy bear nights), but all in all - I had a great time.I'm hoping to visit in the future again.

Hello Goodbye Bar: what do users think?
Aja Lim: good vibes, short line
Aarav: Extremely trashy place. Bad songs. Bad people. Bad crowd. Bad management. If you wanna enjoy, just don't go to this club.
Casie Campbell: Cool inside but not that fun if you don't have a table service booth.
Elaine: Other than the line outside, you'd never even know there was a bar down there. Chill vibe. The DJ played great old school hip hop and RnB on a Friday night. Venue is a bit small. I wish the dance floor was a bit bigger, but overall great experience.
Megan Willetts: $40 cover for men. No thanks!
Tanya Colbo: What a ridiculous place. Went there thinking it was this cool secret club...it's not secret...there are no cocktails...just highballs and no where to dance unlike advertised. I made a point to get on the guest list and no one even asked me about it. The biggest disappointment of my trip to Vancouver.
Lista Spensley: Disappointed. Ready to cash out for a bridal party but was stopped because the one guy in our group happened to be wearing shorts. 1:6 ratio of guy to girls and turned away. Also… a girl with yoga pants and fluffy slippers was allowed in before us, so we were left a bit confused. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Blake Edwards: Wouldn't let us in over wearing birkenstocks...no dress code displayed on website
Thomas Day: Disappointing experience at this bar, more fun available elsewhere in Yaletown. Some of my more flamboyant friends tried to come join our table, but they were not admitted, which is curious because the bar was not full.
Karen Emery: doesn’t exist. or we couldn’t find it lol
Zenmonk Chick: Tried to go here after bar hopping in Yaletown with a gf. There was no lineup so we figured we can drop by for a couple of drinks, however the bouncer informed us that if we aren't on the guest list or have a table reso, we can't get in. I think he expected us to beg him or pay him to get in, but we just said okay and left. We arent going to beg to have a place allow us to spend our money at their establishment. Also we love being spontaneous and seeing where the night takes us, so if we have to have reso's then we will just take our business elsewhere which we did. I find it very laughable that this little hole in the wall place is trying to be exclusive when everyone knows vancouver's nightlife is pretty weak.
Radha Khetarpal: Poor. Didn’t let in even with the approved guest list.Poor service poor management.
Vancity Lady: You can't get through the door sometimes. Only if you know the door guy or the people who run it. When you finally get in... it's so packed and you end up getting trampled by little kids while trying to get a drink. A cliquey vibe.
JeaNFrancoiS Irisch-Mercier: Hello and Fun!!
Austin Ross: DJ / vibe is great, being lied to and corruption isnt great (when they put a $30 forced gratuity tip on a $15 order + charge you for doubles when you ordered singles) MAYBE Covid hit them hard and they need to make up money in other ways but sketchy business practices which really give a bad vibe to a great location.
Sami Jayne: Nice little basement spot. Tables are small but they do the job. Staff are attentive and helpful. Really loved the vibe and music on a Saturday night.
Dragan Scorpian: Love visiting this place but the smell is kinda a reminder of the Ontario septic system I left back in Russian waters 🤪
Nelson Liem: Visited from out of town. No line up outside. 2 ladies walk out saying it’s not all that it’s hyped up to be. With my girlfriend. Host radios whomever and says unfortunately we’re full. Ok?! Well, 2 ladies just walked out and you have 2 new guests in line looking to spend money. Whomever is managing the establishment - do the math. 2 people walk out means $0 dollars earned. 2 people in line with no line up looking to spend means $X earned. Disappointed. If this was my business, I’m counting people in and out to manage cash flow in…vs having an ego. Just my 2 cents.
Jordan Green-Sparks: 👌
ria j.d.: Super cute underground bar with a swanky yet relaxed feel. The cocktails here are amazing, the atmosphere is just gorgeous, and the food is really tasty. Really nice place to go if you want the nightclub feel without the nightclub. Love it.
