Gurpreet Romana: Was able to get a taxi quickly from Pacific Central Station on a Thurs morning. They had drove us for just over an hour from the city. Driver was very nice and helpful as they provided many suggestions for us on places to visit in Vancouver and cities around. Very appreciative for them to create an postive experience as we were on a train for about 4 days and were tired. Thank you again to the driver!

Norman Stephens: Always very prompt when calling taxi, and drivers very nice. My only recommendation as an opportunity to improve customer experience is that to notice where your picking up passengers and drive accordingly. My wife had just had abdomen surgery at BC women’s hospital and being from out of town we needed to take a taxi back to hotel the following day and you’d think the driver would catch the passenger was hurting just getting into taxi and then to not slow a bit hitting speed bumps around hospital at speed so jarring and the hard brakes and acceleration. Was very painful ride for my spouse.

Michael Lafleur: I have used this company for over 30 years. They have always been prompt and fast. I've used them intensely for coming up to six years now, to get me to and from work.Some issues have arisen over the last year over the new automated system they have in place. They are now back to the level of service I expect from them being a customer that uses them 5 days a week. The new system they have that was full of bugs that needed to be iorned out is so much better and easier to use. It stores frequently used pick up address with your phone number. It now propms you to chose the address on file and press a key and it automatically sends a cab to that address and they arrive prompt and faster then when you speak to an operator. I have not waited longer then 8 minutes for a cab to arrive. I will never use any other cab or pick company to get me somewhere on time.This cab company is the best cab company in the region. If you use another service I can guarantee you will not get the as fast as Black Top & Checker Cabs will. I recommend this company and its 100 % then any other.
Andrew Takahashi: Aggressive driving with a customer inside the vehicle and total disregard for other drivers on the street. Driver does not know how a merge works and would rather cause a near collision than to let other drivers into the merge. When confronted he claims he needed to get to the customer’s destination, yet we got to the same location at the exact same time. Taxi # was BT79- don’t use Taxi’s anymore, especially Black Top Taxi, just take an Uber. Ubers are cheaper and drivers are held to some sort of accountability for their own vehicles.

Joe Fargo: Cab driver scammed me, told me the payment didn’t go through when I handed the terminal back to him, so we did the transaction again, he said there was no receipt of the first transaction failing (note to self - hold on to the machine to see the approval next time). Low and behold I checked my credit card on the banking app later and he had double charged me. The cab driver on the way back from airport told me that some drivers knowingly take double payments hoping the client doesn’t notice and that’s why they made the app to try to prevent it.I’ve called multiple times to yellow cab and have been told I can only speak with a guy named Bali but he is never there and won’t return any voicemails. TOTAL CROOKS. Just use Uber and Lyft or the yellow cab app (not likely to use them again though)

Ryan Danger: Flagged a cab down on Clark & Hastings at 11 pm as my bus was cancelled, driver was fine until I got to my destination of commercial broadway skytrain. I paid debit the transaction went through I passed the debit machine back and he demanded I enter my phone number into his debit machine when I refused he wouldn’t let me leave the cab freaking out like I stole something g from him. I finally entered my phone number and it was to text me a receipt. So confusing and totally avoidable if there was simply a no receipt option.

Jennifer Dobrotinic: I called and left a voicemail for a manager this morning after an altercation with one of their drivers. So far, no phone call back and it's been over 4 hours. One of their drivers was leaving an elementary school in North Delta this morning at 9 am. They did not stop at the top of the driveway before they proceeded to make their left-hand turn into traffic without checking to make sure it was clear. This driver almost t-boned me. Delta Police has been contacted because that driver could have run over a child due to their negligence. The driver felt it was appropriate to mock me when I honked my horn to alert them. I have photos of the driver in the cab with the cab numberEdit: I finally received a phone call from the manager, Carolyn, at approx 5:30 pm. The driver in question has been reprimanded. We had a good chat and talked about the situation. I felt heard and respected, and more importantly she actually seemed to care about this.I recommend asking for a manager like her if you have any issues with their company.

Emilie McGuire: I’m in a wheelchair and frequently pre booked rides with yellow cab. They often never came and when we called they said no one’s available. Once they said ones coming in 10 minutes but it never came and we called AN HOUR LATER to ask where it was and they said nones available. Never ever using them again. Would give 0 stars if I could. One driver was also pretty rude and asked if the car accident (that caused me to be in a wheel chair) was my fault?? Who asks that??
Sunil prasad: I hate this service when i booked my ride it said it would less than $60 and after they charged me $ 75.50 for the ride . When i call them they just telling me that it should be done by supervisor and the supervisor is not lifting the phone. They are not calling you back even after leaving the voice Mail.
Frank Shin: Watch out!! The driver tried to scam me from YVR. As soon as I got in the ride he asked me cash or credit. I knew somethings up. He then begins to say it’s a flat fee of $27 in all of Richmond. I later refer to the flat fee map and show him I’m in North Richmond which is $20. He then tries to persist its $22 because I’m central, I am not as I live near Bridgeport and 5 road. I tell him I am local and travel very frequently so I know my rates. He then says after he drives a certain amount his meter kicks in and it’ll be more than $27. So I tell him to stop playing games or else I’ll report him to the YVR authorities for breaching service. For anyone flying into Vancouver be aware of this type of scam and learn the flat fee system from YVR. This wasn’t only yellow cab who does this but this experience was by far the worse. Other taxis just turn on meter and play that game, yellow cab just took it to whole new level.Forgot to mention the driver argued with me asking why I’m mad so I told him it’s because he’s trying to scam. Mid way to destination he even asked me to pay the fare and I refused until we got to destination. Who knows what his angle was but I worried he’d try to kick me out of cad after I paid.I think they are trained to perform these scams and I really urge upper management or even tv news to explore this new phenomenon of unethical taxi drivers of Vancouver. It’s crazy our city is turning into this.

Cab driver Sunny cab 168b refused to take me to Brentwood, literally 20 minutes from the city and then was verbally aggressive with me when I was asking for his name. I thought it was illegal to refuse to take someone home? Worst company ever.

Ash Briand: Terrible experience. Driver knowingly took off with my wallet and wouldn’t stop when he saw me chasing after him. Shortly there after, charges made on my CC. The managers who I talked with were not helpful at all and won’t give me the man’s name in order to help with the investigation. Charlotte specifically will not return my calls. Dishonest top to bottom.

Amy O'Rourke: Took a taxi from the airport and left phone in the car. Noticed within a second of the driver leaving, called the cab company, who immediately told us we had the wrong cab company and they didn’t have the phone. However, we had a receipt and insisted it was this cab company, within 10 seconds of trying he had found the driver and the driver came back (a.k.a. he didn’t even try to ask about the phone, he just immediately said sorry we don’t have your phone). The driver hadn’t had a chance to leave on a new trip, but instead of just turning the metre on for his return to drop off the phone, they said it was a minimum $20 fee. Very untrustworthy people.Regarding the response the taxi company sent below, I want to stress that they immediately told me I had the wrong cab company and they did not have my phone. Not at any point did they say, try to check in later at night and this is our policy. They simply said we don’t have your phone & this is the wrong cab company. I had to strongly insist that I had a receipt and knew it was the right cab. How on earth could I have tried to pick up the phone at the office at the end of shift when they immediately told me they didn’t have it and it was the wrong company? Very very scuzzy, do not care about their customers whatsoever.

A H M Jahangir: Observed not in proper cooperation while calling for helping to find a taxi by which we took a ride from YVR airport to home at Richmond on 28th March night. One of my relatives lost her kids' passport, and I guess it was lost in the taxi. It can be lost in the airport too. But while I called to help find the taxi and request the driver to call back, the operator seems not cooperated properly. I attempted two times once in the 28th night when the operator informed me that I'd received the call back either that night or the next day. After waiting for the call, I called the operator again for my lost request. The operator instantly informed me that they didn't have any information about lost and found. But they were reluctant to connect with the driver.
Tomoyo Yamada: Keeping it transparent that I did not use their service, but they have dangerous drivers.Last night I was driving and slowed my car because the car in front wanted to make a left turn. It was just one car and I didn’t bother changing lanes, but one of your Vancouver Taxi drivers started flickering his beam lights aggressively from behind. The car in front turned left so I started moving again and your driver is still flickering beam lights at me. He eventually changed lanes and start harassing a different car with his beam lights again.What did your driver want me to do? Crash into the car waiting to turn left? This is dangerous driving and I do not recommend anyone using this taxi company with untrained drivers.

Harsev Oshan: I'm so glad Uber and Lyft are finally in Canada.. All these taxi services in Vancouver deserve to go out of business. What kind of taxi company picks you up from the airport, and refuses to restart the meter when my friend gets dropped off and pays, and says I have to pay my fare PLUS my friend's fare, even though my friend had paid. And to refuse to let me out of the cab and get my bags when I refuse - unless I paid an extra $45!!! I've had bad experiences with all taxi companies in Vancouver, but this one is the WORST! I'd rather freeze to death at the airport next time than use this company.
Mike Tesfui: New to Vancouver? Having trouble getting a taxi? If your location is not too far away and no one is willing to come pick you up, pretend they are 5,2 minutes away.
Lora Robertson: Was in Vancouver for the weekend but slightly too far away from sky trains. Called 3 times and all three times within 5 mins a taxi arrived. My first driver even gave me an umbrella when I said I needed one!

Connie Ono: We did the " Fly Over Across Canada and Fly Over Canadian Rockies Package" (that was 15% off at the time of purchase if you bought both) and it was an amazing experience!!Essentially you sit on a seat similar to say... A Ferris wheel or roller coaster, strapped in, and watch as you are pulled in towards the screen with your feet dangling in the air over this 360 degree dome. As you "fly" through clouds and beautiful scenery, you can "feel" and "smell" the environment! Breathtaking!The Rockies was roughly 15 mins, and the Canada one was about 25 mins, both with a 7-10 min movie introduction of what the experience is about.Prior to the experience, you get your photo taken behind a green screen which you can purchase in the gift shop below after you are done.Now despite that it is a virtual experience, I must WARN you, this is NOT for the faint of heart or those who are extremely acrophobic. Also, the fluid movement of the seat while focusing on the screen can make you feel nauseous.Overall, Canada Place offers a nice view of Vancouver's docking bay as it also houses a cruise ship for those who are doing cruise tours over the week. Decent size parking space... Just overly priced. Roughly $40 for the whole day.

Allan C: One of the slowest cruise terminals I've ever been through. Took me 1.5 hours to get through the check in process when there were 3 cruise ships docked on the same day. It is conveniently located in the downtown area with lots of transportation options, and you can even walk there on foot.

Peter Taylor: Terrible place to board a ship. Four steps at various levels. Very long queues at each step and also to wait for an elevator when changing levels. Badly designed place and lot of bureaucracy.
Ruth Canham: I would definitely cruise out of Canada place again. I’ve docked a star for the layout. It isn’t exactly straight foreword, but there are plenty of workers around to direct you. But without anyone to help, good luck if it’s your first time. That being said, the port was clean, I felt safe at all times. It’s very close to the airport train station for easy transportation. There are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, and upscale hotels you can walk from.

What typically happens when you pick up your vehicle, the folks in service review the work that was done. Most times the work described is brief. Not yesterday, Tiffany was incredible! She explained everything in great detail. Well done Tiffany!
Bernardo Prieto: Big scams are happening in this place. My Ford edge was recall to change the airbag.I decided to bring it to Coastal Ford. When they returned the car to me the "compass no response" sign was in the dashboard. They told me that was a "coincidence"and they didn't do anything. They charge me 157 for make a diagnostic for no compass. They told me that the antenna connection was fallen apart and were missing parts. To fix it they charge 1100 dollars. I refuse to do it. After driving for 20 minutes the compass start working perfectly. Either they have no idea what are they doing or just robbery.

Ellie: I took my car for the annual service at this location. After the service the engine check light was on and when I called to ask why it happened the lady got my phone number to get service rep to call me back, I called again and she changed her words and just told that service is closed and I should call another mechanic to answer my question about the what went wrong at this location during the service!!! And she hung up!She was really disrespectful and I do not appreciate it.

Don't offer a shuttle downtown anymore (5 min drive away). Was told to go to Burnaby which is quite far of a drive for me and inconvenient for transport to and from work while the car is serviced.
