Faidra Berda: Yesterday I went into the cosmetics department at London Drugs on Granville and had one of the best customer service experiences ever. Nanda was so knowledgeable about all of the products and she recommended some fabulous skin care and make up that I just love. While helping me she noticed someone trying to shoplift and she politely asked me to wait a moment while she alerted security then she quickly returned to helping me. I was so impressed by her calmness and professionalism. Any employer would be lucky to have Nanda working for them. I will definitely be back to see her the next time I need new cosmetics.

They have huge chocolate section now. About four isles of pure goodness. I also like their camera section, they display the cameras very nicely.

Apart from the products and special offers they offer, I really appreciate the advice and assistance I get from Amir, a specialist in the electronics department. When it comes to finding the right product for you, Amir goes the extra mile. He helped me find the best bluetooth computer mouse last year, and I'm still happy with it. Amir helped me with noise-cancelling headphones this Black Friday. In addition to saving me from purchasing a mass-produced JBL product, he pointed me in the right direction. After discussing different brands and products with me, Amir recommended Sennheiser PXC 550-II headphones as his best recommendation and one that fit my budget. Because they weren't available at the location, he spent a long time calling probably all the other LD stores in Metro Vancouver and arranged for the headphones to be shipped to Olympic Village. It was worth the wait to receive the headphones today! Their sound is incredible, the noise canceling feature is excellent, and they fit perfectly. Amir is an expert in his field and makes your shopping experience enjoyable, knowledgeable, and easy. You don't need to go to other stores if you want to buy electronics because Amir at LD is a top expert who listens to your needs and finds the best option so you can get the most out of your purchase.

I spoke with one individual when bringing in film and they informed me that it would be sent to another store to get processed. No problem with that, and I was informed that I would get an email to pick up everything when it was finished. I come back to the store after receiving the email and the individual at the desk tells me that no one ever picks up their negatives and that the other store would have thrown them away. I explained that I have picked up my negatives every time and the individual continues to blow off my concerns. I call the Photolab in New West as they were the place that developed my photos. They informed me that they don't throw away negatives and that my images are currently being sent back to the Olympic village store.I allow for 2 weeks to pass, and I receive no email. I figure it is worth a check so I go to the Olympic village lab and encounter that same individual from before. He once again looks at me in confusion, telling me that no one picks up their negatives. I continue to ask him to at least do a physical check of their filling cabinets. Voila... My negatives are there.I am upset that the individual continued to avoid actually helping me and would rather talk down to me. The people at New West unfortunately had to be my point of contact as whenever I called Olympic Village they were useless.I've learned my lesson and won't be going there for any future photo needs.

Kenny Baker: I think you would do better using another store. The pharmacy runs on ridiculously short hours. Went down two hours before the store closed. Pharmacy had already bees shut for an hour. Asked a clerk about it. Half hearted shoulder shrug. He told me I should look at google. Where, fun fact, it does not show the pharmacy closing three hours before the store closes. So if you want poor service and abrasive, disinterested clerks, shop here. Otherwise, I would suggest any other pharmacy in town.

It's because of Marcel, an employee in the customer service center. A few weeks ago, I went to the store to pick up my online order, but I wasn't sure where to pick it up, so I queued up at the customer service center. However, Marcel was chatting with the person in front of me about many things related to the Philippines, and they chatted for a long time without any intention of ending the conversation. I had to say, "Excuse me, can I ask a quick question?" She looked unhappy as if I was bothering her. She should have checked how many people were in the queue while chatting and had skills on how to end conversations with talkative customers, rather than ignoring all of us in the queue. Today, I went to the store to buy a big bag of MiracleGro soil. I went to the customer service center and said, "I want to buy this bag of soil, but can I price match it?" She widened her eyes and said, "Of what?" Oh my God, what kind of conversation was that? It's as if I was asking her to do something illegal or I asked a foolish question. I have never encountered this kind of customer service attitude. Unfortunately, her behavior ruined my good impression of the company because she was standing in the company's most important customer service center position. I hope she can improve.

I had no idea London Drugs did Apple Authorized repairs, and on top of a great fragrance department, pharmacy, home goods, every interaction is hallmarked by consistently good customer service.

The gentleman working was less than 10 minutes from closing when I stopped in to pack up and ship a package across the country. He took his time to assist me, found me a better rate shipping option, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Andy Hy: Tried calling the Canada Post section of this London Drugs 20 times and no one would answer (called between 4pm to 430pm). Then called General Inquiries and spoke to someone and pleaded with her to get someone to answer my call from the Canada Post side. She said wait then the call gets transferred for a brief moment I thought someone would answer. And unfortunately no one answered my call.

tina ngo: The staff at this store is amazing. I wish I remembered his name (he is a south Asian, I hope he gets recognized by London Drug). He is so attentive and patient. I ordered a bike which he brought to me quickly and I asked him if my other order had arrived, he looked at my account to check for me and even said thank you for being a customer. I got a bike so it was a very big box, he offered to help me bring it to the car. There was also a promo with a free water cage for the bike which I didn't add properly to my cart so it didn't go through. He looks into my order and goes out of his way to help me and ends up giving me the water cage for free, even though it was my fault that I didn't do it properly online. I was so impressed and he totally made my day. He offers help without being asked. This is customer service at its finest! Thank you!

K C: Update: No improvements to check out process. LD seems to think customers work for them. Customers leave so frustrated.Place is a gong show. Prices have gotten ridiculous. And the self-checkout insane. Why am I paying high prices to be my own cashier on the most complicated self checkout machines in town? It is like a seven-step process, inevitably requiring the attendant to reset something. Now with no bags, I bring my own bag, but if you place it on the the location where you would put a bag, the sensor assumes it is an item. Then the attendant is always trying to flog some item extra that I totally never want. So much easier at Shopper's DM and Loblaws. It can’t be covid, as I then went next door to IGA where I was given super friendly, personal service by a lovely lady at the checkout there.

Maritana Quaresma: I’d like to share my recurrent bad experiences with London Drugs at Davie St. I’m an old costumer and I visit this store at least once a week and most of the time I’m followed by security guards for no reason; I’m always aware of not giving any suspicious or controversial impression but it really doesn’t matter. Putting my hands inside my coat’s pocket inside a London Drugs is impossible if I just wanna have a peaceful shopping moment. Today was the epitome of this disrespectful attitude toward me. I went to London drugs after passing through a nearby Shoppers because I was comparing prices. I didn’t do any weird movement, I was just wearing beach clothes and apparently had the wrong appearance and shade, so all the security guards started to follow all my steps in the store. When I went to pay for my purchase, I noticed that the cashier sneakily tried to look inside my bag, which I purposely set in front of him so he could see I was aware of that unfriendly situation and that I wasn’t hiding anything. I had to verbally say that I had things from another store in my bag so he could be aware, again, that I’m not a thief. This has been a recurrent situation at this store and I’m completely sick of this embarrassment and I’ve just stopped leaving my money to a place that sees me as a threat. Stop this kind of attitude if you don’t want me to use the R word among everyone I know, including media and social media. Shame on you, London Drugs.
Francesca Vivanti: I've shopped at London Drugs for 40+ years and at this specific store, more than 20 years. I find the staff to be extremely helpful and the pharmacy staff go beyond their purview to assist. Very rarely have I had a problem with staff, they really do try their very best to be helpful. BTW - during Covid, they delivered prescription medications free. Thanks Davie Team - a job well done!
O Catris: The pharmacy in this branch has a real problem. They've never phoned me to acknowledge receipt of prescription sent to them by my physician and when it can be picked up. I am not even sure if they read feedbacks that concern them.Update: I give credit where credit is due. They did phone me today and told me that my prescription can be picked up today. First he tried to say my government issued ID wasn't government issued, then he drags my package on the floor which weighs all of 2 pounds and then he refused to allow me to pick up my Amazon package. The people this location hires seems subpar. It also seems they have fun when you're upset. I suggest to have your packages picked up elsewhere.
Shan Dou: Very bad experience when calling the store about passport photo service and hours. The staff who answers general inquiry phone calls is very rude. He did not wait for me to finish my sentence, tried to cut me off and hang up as if he was in such a rush to be anywhere else but this call. Quite a shame because this is otherwise a good store.

Ana K: This is a PHARMACY REVIEW, not applicable to the whole store.I am not qualified to judge how good they are as pharmacists, but I can say with absolute certainty that their organizational skills are ZERO!!! An admin person is desperately needed to organize, streamline and oversee their processes.There is soooo much walking around in circles searching for information and/or actual medication, a lot of obfuscating and/or outright lying, shifting blame and procrastinating. On the other hand, there is no follow up or follow through, especially for prescriptions that require doctor's renewal.There should be an “ownership” of each prescription to make sure it’s moving through the system accurately and in a timely manner. All information about the status of a prescription fulfilment should be on the computer system, easily accessible to employees and easily communicable to the customer: date received, date faxed, who is in charge to make sure there is a timely response / fax it again / contact customer for help with the doctor, whether medication is in stock or needs to be ordered – and so on.This way there would be no running around checking piles of baskets and paperwork in multiple locations and no need for customer to keep coming back multiple times.I guess I am "lucky" that this time it "only" took 10 days, 3 visits and 3 phone calls to them, plus a phone call to my doctor to get my medication. (Medication that I have been taking for 10+ years, always prescribed by the same doctor, always fulfilled at this location.)Last time it took over a month, more than 5 visits and I don't know how many phone calls, in the end receving wrong/lesser quantity of 1 medication.It has been a very stressful and infuriating experience each and every time for the past several years.

The pharmacy staff seem like nice people who are trying their best, but the pharmacy is so slow that I recommend that you avoid it.The last time I had my prescription filled, I came the same day and I was told it would take 3 days. That was cutting things kind of close, so this time I made sure to have my doctor send my refill request in on Thursday, three days before I needed it.When went to get it on Sunday, it still wasn't ready. I was asked "When do you need it for"? Well, I'm not in the habit of having prescriptions filled when I don't need them, so the answer is always going to be "as soon as possible". But now you have to give them three days or more AND tell them when you need the prescription, apparently?No, they weren't out of the medication either time. They just hadn't even started to fill the prescription yet.You could say, why be impatient? Why not get your prescription renewed well in advance of when you need it?I tried that once at another pharmacy close to where I used to live, and it was a big problem. Even though my prescription was not for narcotics or anything like that, the pharmacy treated me like I was trying to do something criminal--why would I need it so far in advance when I just had it filled a few months ago? So I will never do that again.Yes, I know they are short staffed. They have been for a long time. But if they can't fill prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time, maybe they should just shut down the pharmacy part of the store altogether. But I guess it's hard to shut down the pharmacy section when the name of the store is "London Drugs".Anyway, I'm just going to take my business elsewhere. I need to be able to get prescriptions quickly and reliably. It's not like going to a store and they're out of your favorite kind of chips or something. Prescriptions are very important.BTW, I've never had any problems with the non-pharmacy part of the store at this location; they've always been great.

Always buy our computers at this store. They can't do enough for you and are always there to lend a helping hand when you get stuck. Luiz is simply the best person in the computer department. Gogga is the absolute best when it comes to cell phones. She knows everything. Keiko in the photography department knows her job. She is always very willing to help and give advice. Absolutely LOVE this place.

Irina Correa: Friendly, knowledgeable and SUPER helpful. I made an appointment to get my iPhone repaired after a long history of undiagnosed issues with sound/speakers. The staff at the tech department was amazing. After checking my case (from Apple Genius Bar) and running diagnostics, they gave me all the options they could offer. I know the options were limited, given that it is not an Apple store. However, the service and attention more than surpassed my expectations - they guided me through a call with Apple to get my phone replaced and went above and beyond to ensure that my problem was addressed in a timely manner. The senior technician even stayed past his shift to complete the service. I really appreciate Kash and Brian for today's service and would like them to know that because of the way they took care of me, I will remember and recommend this specific location for any technology related purchases/services offered by LD. I will come back, I was really impressed with the quality of the service.

I believe his name is Ali or something.I print out an amazon return label from at another LD location, and because it was full page barcode, ups staff told me that I need to print again smaller. So, I explained him what I need and immediately he said “it’s because your picture is too big” and I told him there is an option to click to print it on a half page (smaller) and he said they can not do that. I told him that they did it many times at the same location, because it’s not a modification, just a simple click. Then he asked me to send it to their email and wait minimum 10 min. I told him that receiving my email shouldn’t take that long, it took only a few seconds at the other LD location. Well, he was so negative since the beginning and not willing to help at all… So, I didn’t insist, just waited. When went there, he printed it out on a half page. And I said “So, it was doable, right?” And he said “what’s the matter?” very angry and rude.. Then his manager came, and she also said they can not do it next time again, with very rude attitude… I said they have been doing it almost every time I go there, even, they usually ask me if I want it on a half page or full page.. She said that’s not possible(like I’m lying)I was very surprised how customer service representatives can be so rude and lazy -from manager to staff- very unprofessional, and not willing to help. Instead, they are just trying to make you feel bad about requesting even a simple thing. I felt like a teenager and she was telling me off or something. Clearly he doesn’t like his job, and she is something else, not sure what is her problem.But I know I will never go there again!
Gooseberry Bilberry: We paid at the customer service counter and the computer had the same name with different price for two different items on the screen. So the cashier called someone to check the price for us. She deducted the wrong amount but it was not shown underneath the original item. Rather, the deducted amount appeared at the end of the list of items. How could they have the same name for different items with different prices in the system? Wouldn't it make more sense to position the deducted amount in the system directly below the original item? The whole process was confusing and it inconvenienced customers.

celisha delawsky: Well I was scrambling to get a ticket printed out for a concert I was headed to and a bit frazzled. Mark at the desk was understanding and helpful…. Even though it was a 28cent sale 😂😂. What particularity struck me though was watching him assist an elderly customer and her caregiver. She had some obvious confusion and probably some dementia. I can NOT say enough about how compassionate and amazing he was with these women. Outstanding. Thanks for being such a great human Mark!
Paige: Micheal from the Photolab gave excellent customer service, exceeding my expectations. I needed the colour adjusted on a photo and he kindly included me in the process making sure I was happy with the end result. Would not be surprised if he was promoted to Manager - he would be perfect!

Redwan Hossain: I went to this place (Photo Lab) to take a photo for cic application. Later on when I told them that the photo is not showing my actual colour and it is digitally altered (as per London drugs idstation), they become super defensive. Instead of listening the problem, they started to say that they have done it as per software and they are doing business for 30/40 year etc etc. Later they said they can give me my money back. But the point is not about money. It is about how to talk with a customer. They should learn how to deal with a customer. Really disappointed by the behaviour of photo lab of London drug of this branch. Do not refer any one to go there for with any complain. Just giving one star as the person who took the photo was nice.

Dan Websdale: I came in to purchase earbuds, which I did. Although I had knowledgeable help right away,It wasn't until my transaction was rung through the till and paid for that he told me they were not returnable once they were taken out of the packaging. I had no intention of returning them. However, policies like that should be told to the customer prior to making a purchase. I will be hesitant to make similar purchases here again. I will add that I was also looking to purchase a new camera. But I will look into store policies before I purchase it from anywhere.
Vanessa Tara: Ordered a portable air-conditioner from London Drugs; they have Atlas/Corporate Couriers handling their deliveries who are extremely erratic and unreliable. They (Atlas) seem to expect you to be available 9 - 5 with no guarantee that they will show up. And no drivers on Fridays, apparently. Seems like the customer working for them rather than the other way around. LD please find a better third party delivery company!

Josh D: Yash is a legend!!!If you are looking to buy electronics go see him at the 525 W Broadway location in Vancouver.I left a 5 star review a few weeks ago because Yash did an amazing job helping me with a tv purchase and delivery. Since then something came up that was no fault of London Drugs and Yash is taking care of me. This is the highest level of service I have ever got from a retail store. To emphasize this I went to add another review, but it would only let me edit my last review, so I Im logging into my secondary account in order to leave this one. If any Manager wants to hear first hand from me, Yash has my phone number and please call.
amy wilson: Awesome London Drugs is a great place to get cosmetic products cold drinks ie red Bull, Powerade,vitamin water, water ect. Hygiene products health care products and other items cameras, film, you can develop your pictures there too and they have some houseware products too…. They also give points for every dollar you spend and you get rewards with your phone number it’s easy and cool when you get 5-10 off after you collect the points…. You can share your rewards with your family and friends just as long as you use your phone number….My kids and I go to London Drugs for almost everything except food, they do have snacks available but can’t get groceries shopping done here because they’re food items are limited

Jackie Garraway: The Pharmacy here is not very well run.They often mix up prescriptions and they won’t let you know when you need to get another prescription for a refill until it’s too late- by then you have run out of your medication. They have often let my prescription sit there unfilled for days after I have requested it. The communication with their clients is very poor.At times the pharmacy assistants have been unprofessional by speaking so loudly about personal information in front of everyone standing in line.They have cut the pharmacy hours so there is limited time for medication pick up. They open late and close early in comparison to Shoppers drug mart. On top of all that - you have to pay $5.00 to park in the underground parking and it is not reimbursed.Definitely choose another pharmacy because this one is not up to par unfortunately.Edited to add: 2 months later and things are still not any better.I went there again today after being told my prescription would be ready at 11am - I got delayed at work and quickly ran over there on my lunch break at 12:30…. It was still NOT filled!When I finally did pick it up they had me waiting there for another 10min scrambling around looking for another prescription that had already been picked up days earlier.Shouldn’t they have this already in their records?Seems they are extremely disorganized bumbling around not knowing what the other worker is doing.Their professionalism and service has drastically taken a nose dive in this past year. Very disappointed with the entire Pharmacy department.
Teresa: Go to LD on Broadway and Cambie and was accosted by one of their staff because she did not like the feedback I provided in another retail store she works in. Has no sense of how to conduct herself in a professional manner. Had difficulties with their pharmacy assistant who gave me their recommendation based on his experience and now I get accosted by their clerk who works at the post office. Where do they hire their employees?
Joshua Derkach: Yash in the Tech Department provides top shelf service! I bought a large TV from the 525 West Broadway store recently and Yash helped me check store stock before coming in, processed the sale when I arrived, and setup delivery very quickly. Yash is also very friendly and made me feel comfortable from start to finish. I highly recommend the 525 West Broadway store for electronics thanks to Yash and his Team.
Landrise Management: Do not do any ID photos in here. They give you insanely small digital copies. Government website asks for larger size, their digital copy did not even reach the minimum requirement. You have to drive half hour to come for a change and they are not familiar with the system they have, first they will give you the right size but for wrong ID. They also keep saying they don’t know what’s going on and keep asking if you are the one who make mistakes. After all, real deal breaker is their attitude. Lyndon drugs’ staff training is really bad and their staffs do not even feel sorry for making mistakes. Like your time and money is wasted for good.
Ebru Baran: The parkade is paid and quite expensive starting from 6 cad an hour and not paid by them. So funny even Dollarama pays the parkade. Slow service, tired employees probably bad management I would not prefer to go again and don’t recommend

I gave them to digitalize and they lost it.Their Photolab Manager was very passive aggressive towards me. I`m crushed ,they lost my precious memories so I`ll probably have to sue them
YS Kim: On march 5 around 2:30 pm I was looking to buy a used camera. There were three sales associates there I asked to buy sony a6000 used. One of the sales associates helped me could not find the used camera that I want and he passed one to one of other Korean sales representative his attitude was very cynical and cold. I asked about shutter count for the other used camera he told me he can't find out about that. I asked him the businesses card he said we don’t have business card and just gave me blank business card. I never had this kind experience in other London drugs Location. I am just wondering is he treat other costumes like that? It is really impossible to find out shutter count for the used camera? For me it is difficult to recommend this location camera department especially that Korean sales representative.
