Leeside Skatepark: what do users think?
Vlad S.: Legendary skate spot, every skater in Canada knows about this spot or has seen it in videos or photos at one point. Not just skateboard vids, snowboard vids too! Was an absolute joy to finally visit this place, lots of incredible local graffiti, and the vibe there is epic! They also have lamps so once it’s dark, you can still chill there and have a good time!
Ayla Suffron: My new favorite skatepark!
Psychotic Percy: Can't comment on how fun it is to skate there since i haven't tried it myself but love the art though
Fawn Leviathan Auger: Missing you Inga. RIP.
Homayoon Fotros: might feel a bit unsafe to cross through the tunnel when it’s dark.
Randal Lawson: Sick little skate park
Pamela C: Fantastic place as it is covered and has lights
Rachel Pierce: I love the art and that there are places like these for artists to display their Talants, the art work is changing continually so it's a very cool place to photograph graphite.
Dominic Penalosa: Super sick, and rippable, the small section is not as perfectly smooth but sooo sick, the bus ride there is skatchy from Main Street cuz u gotta get off at main n Hastings, super fun spot to skate, close to Hastings bowl, WHOLE SKATEPARK COVERED (except for like 2 things)
Jarrel Joson: So I’ve been to many other skate parks and this one is decent because almost everything there is just quarter pipes and half pipes which can get boring kinda fast, but they do have a little box jump in the middle of the skate park which is nice to do and really smooth. Sometimes in the future I do come here because when it’s raining or when it’s wet, I come here because the skatepark is located in a tunnel under E Hastings st which is nice.
AstrologywithKalidas: Located in a tunnel so it’s great for the heavy rains in Vancouver. Park is DIY so kinda an unforgettable experience. Love this place. I’m a street skater and it’s mostly transition but it’s built in such a unique way that there’s lots of creative possibilities.
Lou Anne: Awesome lil skate park with ever changing art and fun skate features. Protected from the elements 🌧
Leticia Calderon: Leeside Park is such a nice spot
Yosuke Ito: Great little skate park tucked under Hastings. Recommended if you want to avoid the elements.
Felix Mcivor: A True Work Of Art (Must See) Experience , Etc
Tristan Reuser: Most excellent
Sean Solomon: Pretty cool graffiti, I can tell a lot of effort was placed into it looking so cool. We appreciate your work, thank you!
Ross Down: LIGHTS ON AT 19:30 *updated
Sydney Pazurik: looks cool
Gregory Scott: Cool place to visit or try some tricks.
Hana Hoffman: Its nice because the skate park doesnt get affected by the weather since its undercover.

The Plaza Skateboard Park: what do users think?
Jessika Hunter: "Vancouver Skate Plaza successfully uses an underutilized scrap of industrial land under the Georgia Street viaduct and transforms it into an internationally recognized street-style skateboarding plaza. The design was developed in close partnership with the Vancouver Skate Coalition, the Vancouver Police Service, and surrounding community members" www.newlineskateparks. In 2005, the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects acknowledged the project’s success in the community with a Regional Honour Award.
Nick Lujan (Nick): Cool place to visit parks really nice, would recommend
Jim w: Huge skate park for all levels of riders, great place to hang out and meet other skaters.Right in the heart of the city close to science world and Rodgers arena, close to food and drink. One of Vancouver's famous skate spots
James Reynolds: Always somebody riding their plank, never any time for painting.
Eric Trotchie: Meh. Its boring. mostly flat. I wanted a snake, it didnt have a snake
PS: Uuuuu wwww ====== ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️
jamie bizness: Best park
Dominic Penalosa: peeps sayin that theres homeless people in park but there isntgreat vibestreet style skatepark, so if you want transition, this isnt the place to goseems intimidating when u arrive, but the peeps are chillsuper funsuper dirty tho
Jarrel Joson: It’s a really good skate park to go to since it’s right beside stadium Chinatown station and Main Street science world sky train station which is super easy to get to. I’m giving this a 4/5 stars because sometimes the skate park is a little bit dirty but other than that it’s an awesome skate park.
Sam Wornell: It's a really fun park. I wouldn't recommend if your a beginner though, it has mostly intermediate obstacles. I also would rate it a 5 star but the area is suuuper sketchy. Sketchy homeless people and Crackheads everywere. But overall really enjoyed skating there and will definitely return.
Raven Fraser: Decent size, seemingly popular... I personally don't skate to much anymore but when I do enjoy going to this park
Christopher Hudson: Always somebody riding their plank, never any time for painting. And yeah alot of dudes pushing wood every day. Sweet park.
Alex Georgeson: Needs a half pipe
Justin Pyle: Sweat bmx spot lol open Park form 12 am to it's dead there's so much to do there for a smaller park it's nice to have it's all to myself 12 am to 9am. and the ppl that go there are Kool like to hit it up every other day eswsr
Mr. Cole Gallant: Very cool. B)
Sam Belyea: Pretty gnarly
Damhan Richardson (Damh): Lots of space, good for street, almost 0 transition
Justin M.: Appropriately gritty. I hope the new park (if it comes) lives up to the character this one has.
Anita James: Chill place
Erfan Ghavimi: It's near by the Football field and Tennis court .
Jean Hardy: Very nice skatepark.

UBC Skate Park: what do users think?
tasty meatlord: Very good community in this park and skilled skateborders the parks is well new and well thinked
Adrian Wolf: Great sk8park. Great shape and lots fun stufff. Paid parking is a downer
Tomas Rosas: amazing skate park, smooth ground.
Alex Denford: Probably one of the better or best parks in van, smooth and has a lot of good features
Nathan Buhay: Sick park with smooth transitions and fun ledges
Sam Belyea: Nice park but it’s kinda small. If ur having a solo sesh or just skating with a few other people it should be fine but when the park gets crowded it gets hard to skate
Johnny Ye: Bussin
Dominic Penalosa: Good stuffMediocre layoutPark runs very fastBest for advanced skatersClose to a billion street spots
Jarrel Joson: Not a bad skate park that has a bowl, banks and some rails. The only bad thing about this skate park is that it’s kinda small, so there’s not that much space to ride. Especially when it’s crowded, and which usually around the afternoon it is crowded. But other than that it’s still a decent skate park.
Pat Gunter: Nahhh. I don't care for this park.
Guy Leckenby: My favourite park, it's got really nice concrete, a cool little bowl that's fun for all skill levels, and a nice selection of other features. It attracts a diverse crowd in the mornings, but can get a tad busy in the afternoon.
Peter Couch: Pretty nice on a Saturday morning.
John Odan: Great place for family fun
miss__shanny: This is a pretty awesome park.
Momo Royale: A nice amenity
Signe Sparrow: Big books big learn
Nicky Stevenson: Great for bmx
Qwerty Asdfg: Muy limpio y muy bien armado.
Darren Gill: Fun park! Worth checking out, small but good street section, with a cool mellow transition section that blends in nicely. Not much for parking though
Manu Barbosa: skaters are really nice and friendly there, if you seem to needhelp they will help you and talk to you. Great place to learn new tricks
Ruairi O'Callaghan: Fun skatepark with a range of setups to ride/skate. Pretty close to amenities like the UBC mall which sells food/drinks. Local skaters were really friendly too. 4/5* because the park is build unevenly and it’s noticeably harder to do balance tricks.

One Love Skateboard Shop: what do users think?
The hustle Continues: I went to buy a skateboard here about a month ago i am new to skateboarding so I expected the sales associate/ cashier to explain to me about thr best trunks and wheels i should get he sold me a good board however it was overpriced since i paid for no name trunks and wheels that had been used i did not know that no name trunks are not the best to use in addition to used bearings even tho my board was new he sold me used parts for a very high price I recommend you go to bones skateshop they explained to me about bearings and trunks and wheels mind you i was only here to buy a t tool he tool his time to explain it to me i am sad to say this store has disappointed me with its capitalist way of viewing a art like skateboarding
Alexia F: Kathy was the sweetest and so patient with me while checking out some longboards. Highly recommend this shop and will definitely come here again in the future :)
Jacob Michael Bennett: Kathy was very friendly and helpfulA+ service!
Tyler Riddle: It's a great skateshop with reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff! It's my go to!
weary traveller: Most excellent skate shop by far broseph's bot myself some rad mini logos and there super fast as expected thanks a bunch chill little tuff lady
Shane Ploss: Took my son to buy his first skateboard not knowing what to purchase , Kathy took the time to explain everything to my son, helped with the set up of the board down to the color of the bolts , what a pleasant surprise of great service we will definitely be back ,
Karen S de C: My son has been going to this camp for two weeks already and he absolutely loves it!!! The coaches and all their staff have been wonderful! Super helpful and patient! I would definitely recommend One Love Skateboard Shop
Fakhir Hussein: Great experience! Fulvio is an excellent trainer, friendly and very nice with kids. He trained my son as a begginer. My son learnt alot from him and enjoyed the time. I fully recommend Fulvio for those who want their kids to be trained.
Steven “Bungeecow” Elford: Friendly, knowledgeable and great customer service.Highly recommended.
Brendon Birkenstock: Great service, products, and skate classes. Warm atmosphere.
Felix Mcivor: Woo! Nuff said
Michael Cunningham: First time at this shop and it was A+ service. Went in with my worn out deck and bought a new one and the guy there transfered all my hardware onto it and re gripped for me too. 10/10 would recommend . (Also left my old deck there for anyone who's super hurting)
Wayne Chew: This shop is across from the skatepark at Bonsor. If supporting a local business that supports the local skateboard scene is important to you, this is the place to shop. They run kids camps and allow skaters to use their facilities. Their camp organisation has good social distancing measures as evidenced by their seating arrangements outside the store. Pricing is reasonable, and the store is clean and well organized. They carry branded and non branded goods if you're looking for costs savings. They sell clothes and foot wear as well. Snacks and drinks available in the closest location to the skatepark. Friendly staff and a welcoming environment. Nice shop.
Ryno Alguire: SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SKATEBOARD SHOP!!!
George Atanasov: Definitely one of my favorite shops!
guinevere dorward: For my son's birthday party we decided to do a skateboard party and Dan set us up with a group lesson. Fulvio taught eight kids on his own and was amazing with them. The lesson had great flow, they all learned a lot, and every kid was so excited afterwards. I am now a huge fan of this place. Super easy to deal with, really kind and thoughtful about setting us up for the party, and they even went above and beyond by providing the kids with cake and a little gift for my son. I definitely recommend these guys and I know a lot of the other kids at the party want to do the same for their own birthdays. Thanks so much you guys!
SMR Life Expressions: A real skateshop with a great selection of decks, shoes, trucks, wheels, bearings and completes! The store has brands like Bones, Spitfire, Independent and Powell for a reasonable price. They are situated In a convenient location in Burnaby by the Skateboard Park and Skytrain! I definitely enjoyed my experience! I would recomend checking out their lessons too!
Karen W: Great instructor. My son has learnt a lot from him and gained confidence in the skate park. Highly recommend the lessons especially when first starting out
Drake Smith: Very friendly staff!
Ushe P: I always want to support a local business over a large franchise which is why I went to One Love. We had already bought a complete here that we were happy with. I believe it was the owner that helped us out and he was great. But when I had to go back for another, a different person at the shop tried to up-sell me from the beginning at every part of the set up not respecting the fact that I insisted, repeatedly, that I am A) a beginner so I don't need top of the line ANYTHING and B) I am on a budget. He didn't ask about what kind of skating I wanted to do or any information that would help him set me up with the appropriate board. I insisted on a blank for the aforementioned reasons and he would reason, "it's only $X amount more, the blanks might not be as good quality, they might snap easier if they've been sitting around a long time, etc." Why would you have an inferior product in your shop that you don't want to sell? At one point he asked if I had other accessories like a helmet, pads, and when I said yes, he responded with "if you can afford those things, you can afford a better deck / trucks...." Never mind my helmet is about 20 yrs old and my pads were $10 off craigslist. Total disregard for what your customer is trying to tell you. I was in a hurry, I needed a skateboard that day, and the experience was so uncomfortable that I just got my board and got out of there but after one first skate I'm realizing it's not a comfortable board for me and what I'm trying to do. To One Love: Please remember that not all of your customers are experienced skateboarders and that as the neighbourhood shop, you should be a representative of the sport. In doing so, you would create returning, loyal customers, which you failed to do with this one.
D M: A hidden gem in Burnaby! Not only do they have a wide selections of boards to choose from, the people there is what makes this place a 5 star shop. Their knowledge, characters, and passion to teach is so genuine. Big shout out to Fulvio, best instructor I have come across!

Kensington Skatepark: what do users think?
Bailey: Horrible layout and impossible to ride if theres more than 5 people there.. typical newline skatepark with no coping on top of the ledges. Random rail and grass patch right next to the bowl. The jump next to the rail leads into nothing. Good park to practice your ollies and carves but thats about it.
Sunil Gandhi: Beautiful sunset view
Alex Denford: Bowl is rough and gnarly, only recommend if you actually can skate proper bowls/pools. Street setup is average at best and the miniramp is rubbish. Decent if you're close, definitely not worth a drive though.
Dominic Penalosa: Pool style bowl with a cool ride on grindkicker medium/small park, great tiny quarter for learning new tricks but a pretty bad layout
Bill: Small but chill
leonard fong: Really tight skatepark with a poor layout.
Cloud: It is a very fun skate park but I do not know about the rest of it
AC CC: Many people, but it is still not too bad.
charlotte: yea i skate
Signe Sparrow: Big bean bowl for big bean moves
Sam L: nice park... dog walking, jogging, kid's playground, skateboard, softball, and sunset/star gazers in the evenings.
Onceupontime Qq: A viewpoint of Vancouver
RollerJuggler Mx: Went for inline agressive, the park itself is nice a bit dirty (actually had to clean it with some kids) but good enough to have a nice time no matter the level. Bowl is kind of weird since there is no drop.
Joe Patterson: My grandson loves this park
Mabel black label: I don't skate, but it's pokemon go gym. 😆
Marc Sallis-Lyon: Rad af
William Silver: Best park! Glad to have a park like Kensington to skate.
Alvin Basilio: i don't have that much friend to play with my skateboard and btw I'm a beginner
Kalan Jarvis-Loewen: Cool skatepark! I find that there is some drugs here, but it is a skatepark that has obstacles for all skill sets and you'll have a great time here
Harsha Katta: Serene location. Nice place to visit in summers.
Dan Ayles: Sick parkDeep bowl, good rail, fun set up

Mount Pleasant Park Skateboard Park: what do users think?
Bailey: Great park but its the size of a backyard
Dominic Penalosa: Tiny but good
Santiago Merchan: Equipado lo suficiente, mero parche, la tabla cuando se va se cae en mero hueco alrededor del parque a veces igual 4/5
Jarrel Joson: I have been here before and the experience was pretty great, with ledges, banks a quarter pipe, a roller a rail and a few other things. I had many great experiences on bmx and scooter. The only bad thing is it does get crowded especially on the weekends and around 12 to 6 pm, keep in mind that this skate park is kind of small to. The crowding situation isn’t bad it’s just that sometimes there are many people riding there and there’s a chance they could crash or snake each other. Other than that it’s still a pretty good skate park to go to on skateboard and scooter. I don’t really recommend bmx since the skate park is pretty small and if you bring a bmx when it’s crowded, you may not even be able to ride there since there’s so many people and a bmx is a bit big compared to skateboards or scooter.
Malcolm Hanley: Nothing pleasant about this park. Mound unpleasant park is more like it! But God i love to eat my 6 inch hearty Italian tuna subway here. It might be the level of my hatred that brings me back but, I'm unsure. But Vancouver you can do better.
Kaz Pasternak: decent for more advanced skaters who just wanna do firing runs. otherwise, it is too small for more that 5 people to share (and thats pushing it) so careful when you there i guess👍🏻
Fish Fisher: Sick park too small though
Clara: Amazing I absolutey love this I am an intermediate skater and this would be best for beginner and intermediate skaters

Strathcona skatepark: what do users think?
Karen W: Small. We had the park to ourselves for like 5 mins and then a group came by and totally dominated it and ended up forcing us to use the basketball court. This is a beginner park. They should make it bigger
Carter Watson: I have been using this skatepark for many many years and honestly it's not the best. It's very limited in features and there is so much adjacent space that the city could use to expand the park. There's a single rail, some boxes, a concrete highway divider feature, and a slight incline or two
Ash Outadi: As a beginner skateboarder I really liked this park. It doesn't have too many features but it's a great spot when you're just starting out. Also has a basketball court area that you can practice on flat ground
Dominic Penalosa: Pretty good but it’s more of a warm up spot than a stay for over 2 hours spot
Brad Young: I don't skate, but those that do look like they're having fun. And that's what counts really.
Jarrel Joson: The skatepark itself is decent with a small bank, downledge, wall ride, rail and other stuff. The only bad thing about this skate park is that it’s just small, so if you are planning to ride bmx here, i’d not recommend doing it since the skate park is small on bmx. But on skateboard and scooter it’s fairly decent to ride.
Jean Austin: It's good for skaters. But they get in the way of the walkway. Just need more space for them not on the walkway
Emily Kerr: Love this park!!! Lots of different things to ride and always great looking tags!!! Gets crowded but everyone is always chill.
Lou L: Great for kids, beginners up to professional skateboarders. For everyone! Really safe considering the tent city. Sweet vibes here always.
Brittany Monckton-milnes: There are 400 tents there so it's kinda hecktick a bit but also very entertaining
Christian Trineer: RADICAL!!!
Curtis Clements: Gnar
Wes Rundle: Took a hard bail here the other week. A few of us at the park agreed that the rail here has day where it sticks and days when it runs, always check it out I guess. The coping on the ledges here rides really well, this park is really fun to connect grinds and slides and is a good place to get comfortable on smaller ramps and kickers!
Aaron Mou: That slappy curb doe!

Strawberry Gummi3s: Love the back section of this park, definitely would recommend going here especially with friends.
Isaiah Baker: Best skatepark I’ve ever been to. From Toronto but don’t ride much there. this was huge. A 10+ bowl with at least 2 feet of vert of not more. Ramps flow super nice. Was kind of nice that I was the only one there because of what I ride. Solid park for all wheels though. Definitely not beginner though.
Kou Izumi: It’s good, they cleaned away they’re graffiti, a lot of skateboarders, some drug users but overall is a good well layout skatepark
aaron vanstone: Great skate bowl just been freshly painted
Jarrel Joson: Awesome skate park to ride since there is a huge bowl (which is the famous part of Hastings Skate Park, but behind the bowl is a mini street area which is a cool spot to go to when the bowl is crowded or when your in the mood to ride at that area in the skate park. I’m rating this a 4/5 because most of the times when it’s sunny the skate park may be crowded.
Ailison Carvalho: Classic spot.
Christopher Winkler: Awesome Park. 👌
dannywright7: I like the interesting design
Shyan Coon: So great skating here, I have a lot of fun.
Elf Styles: Epic park, sick art, talented skaters and nothing but good vibes so far. Will be back for sure 👌
Jim Hatch: Nice Skateboard park some very good riders here this is hastings skate park the young people here are very polite and give you any information you are seeking they welcome strangers and a good place to skate
Rinaldo Ferlin (Ray Ferlin): The place is the best of Vancouver!
Carnival Of Collectables: Well up kept , great surroundings.

Z D: 8/10
cimblue: Absolutely love this park. Great for all skatepark users.
Michael Boltz: Thank you Vancouver wicked park.
Nathan Jones: Fun bowls

Larry S.: A solid 4.5 and it’s a DIY, with ongoing improvements
Dominic Penalosa: amazing vibesuper kind accepting peoplepark takes not too long to dryvery funpark gets re-arranged every few months.great warm up spotliterally made 4 friends there, and only went 3 times
Jarrel Joson: Super nice DIY skate park with lots of things to do such as banks, ledges, manny pads, rails, quarter pipes and lots more other. What I really like about this skate park is the banks, ledges, and rails since they are super fun to ride on, Im very surprised when I first came here and everything is really perfect and I couldn’t believe that some of the stuff here was homemade. I would definitely come here a lot in the future.
Chloe Giuricich: most creative and inviting skatepark in the vancouver area 3 love this place 3
Stu Maxwell: Tennis courts turned DIY skatepark filled with handmade skate props of all kinds. It's lit at night, literally and figuratively.
