West End Rink: what do users think?
Majker Alex Majkrak: Worst rink for stick and puck sessions in Vancouver. Not sure why city moved Saturday’s stick and puck from best rink around, Hilcrest, to this arena. No parking available, unless you willing to pay 9$. Rink is half of the size, pretty bad for any kind of hockey. Ice quality? Dont let me start about that. Horrible. Disappointment for me. Waste of time to go there
lorenzo nannini: Very nice and affordable. The staff is very kind and ready to help you if you need anything.
María Inés Parnisari: The rink is a bit small, and it's expensive to skate ($7). They don't have a section for hockey during public skate.
Amber Song: Google said that the skating rink was open but the staff said that it closed after the end of March. Please update the website on Google so others don't get misled about this because it took us a lot of time to get there when we could have gone somewhere else a lot quicker. Please fix this problem for the convenience of others.
Ibrahim Shehata: The ice rink is really good, I just wish they open all year long instead of just the winter (they will close the ice by end of March)
Dave J J: The ice rink is run by the City of Vancouver. They are not checking anyone that is entering for Covid vaccinations. Th facilities there are absolutely dilapidated and embarrassing for a city facility. However ice rink times aren't easy to obtain so we keep going (15+ yrs). Come on city planners improve this facility, changerooms, washrooms, seating.
Sebastian Isaza: A bit hard to ice skate ⛸ but the price is fairly decent. (Under 10 dollars)
L Chen: Ice is poor and chopped up. Same drink with no benched. Attendant was late opening up the rink.
Celery Celery: Good rink
Yunduz Rakhmangulova: Good quality skating rink, not busy.
Alexander Tumanov: Skating and skating lessons are the best part of my wintertime sport live. Skating coaches a super funny and helpful. I really recommend to sign up for few courses and improve or just have fund in learning new moves. I have only positive emotion when thinking about next skating on the rink. Great place, great people.
Aldo Rodríguez: Exellent!!!💪
Rinaldo Ferlin (Ray Ferlin): Amszing place and friendly staff
Ron Aloni: Its old school. The staff are lovely and it's just great that the facility exists.
Sergio Lopez: Súper cool facility. Helpful staff, friendly crowd.
Jeff O.: The facility is pretty well maintained and the staff are really friendly. At the pre-school skate there is tons of toys and equipment available, as well as complimentary helmets, and rental skates.
Gestler Mendoza: The rink entrance is on the side of the West End Community Center by Haro Street. My daughter goes here for her 30mins skating class.
Manuel Lopez Gutiérrez: No pierdas el camino!!!
Jiyoung Park: 사람도없고 가격도 괜찮음 다만 문을 12월에는 3시에 닫앗음
Stephanie Cimbala: Was a fun time to take my little niece and sister in law.
anderson oliveira: Nice

Kerrisdale Figure Skating Club: what do users think?
Crystal Mount Tannehill: So many bouncy castles (during summer)! My 9 year old & 6 year old loved it!!
K Cee: Review of Kerrisdale Play Palace:Booked a party in the skating lounge for about $115. You are allotted 2 hours for the party including 30 mins to set up and 15 mins to clean up at the end. This rate includes up to 20 admissions for the kids. It's an amazing venue. Wish it was like this year round. At least 4 bouncy castles, soft play space for toddlers and ride on toys. There's also space for basketball, foosball, table tennis and free play space.Only one star deduction for the space we rented. The area smelled like stale urine, because we are right next to the men's bathroom. Not only that, but there was a lot of foot traffic to the bathroom so we felt like our space wasn't really ours as they bee line to the toilet was next to our kids table.Parking: plenty enough around the street and this little gravel lot.Food: no snack bar but you can bring in food from restaurants on the main strip. McDonald's is a 5 mins walk away.Bathrooms: not pleasant but I am a germaphobePrice: very affordable to come play anytime. They also sell 10 admission pass, I believe.
Peter Gill: Awesome indoor play palace to the point we booked our kids 5th birthday party. Private party so the whole place to himself and his friends
Carl Brewer: Ripper little rink, good rooms, weird and awkward benches.
Tracy Dinh: Staff are super friendly. The rink is not crowded. We always have good times here.
Chris McGuinness: Daughter had a skating class with her school. Staff was fantastic.
Bradley Jones: Kerrisdale Arena is a historical ice rink in the Kerrisdale neighborhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was built in the 1920s and has been a beloved community center for ice sports and recreational activities ever since. The arena is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere and has been a gathering place for generations of families and friends to enjoy ice skating, hockey games, and other activities. The facility is also recognized for its unique and classic architecture, which adds to its charm and nostalgia. Despite its age, the arena has been well-maintained and modernized over the years, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors to the area.
Eshin Chand: Dressing room floors aren't good for your skates
Felix Hutnyk: Pretty solid. Also pretty old
casper ho: Cold
Vinz T: My daughter and her friends enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the play palace. It has several bouncy castles and some with two-to-three-storey high slides. There are also some areas for toddlers and some facilities for teens or even grown up.What a pity that it only opens in summer.
Allen Chan: Very large play palace. But not enough time to enjoy as they are ushering in new party groups one after another
Benny Kwok: Kids love the bouncy castle
Kevin Luk: It's fine
Gal N: Great place for children, excellent for rainy days. Good price of 4$ entry. The place has inflatables, a basketball hoop and balls, small cars for children, books, slides and more. They are required to wear SOCKS and do not allow parents to stand barefoot on the mattresses. They sell socks for an expensive price. Highly recommended.
Jarrod Connolly: Great fun for the kids.
Anson Li: Clean arena. Parking lot will get full quickly.
Misagh Sadeghi: Google map shows open 24 hours but it's not. Today is Saturday and 9 pm I come from long distance for it, but it's close
Aman Darred: This is an aging Vancouver facility but good enough for public skating and the odd ice rental for a pickup game. I would not want to play a league game here that's for sure. There is a huge hop to get onto the ice from the benches. Not sure what this is all about. The evening ice man is super friendly.
Craig Tugwood: Nice clean rink, good parking
Ahmad Mokhtar: A nice rink for ice skating!

Inline Skating Vancouver: what do users think?
Dana Battaglia: Lorne is an awesome instructor! By the way, please note he is always in business. NEVER trust what Google says ever when it comes to ANY business' hours or open/closed status. Google's robots and algorithms are no where near ready for this kind of mass public use and they wreak havoc on every business! As I type today, I'm working at a public facility where people have been calling all day to ask if we're open because Google says we're closed... Sigh. Sorry that was unrelated rant... as for this review: Call Lorne, he'll get you rolling with confidence!
John Ellis: Lorne made us feel comfortable and got us moving confidently and safely. Highly recommend.

Address: 2901 E Hasting Rollerland Building, Vancouver, BC V5M 1H9, Canada

Schedule: Closed ⋅ Opens 10AM Sat

Telephone: +1 604-706-1006

Business type: Roller skating club

Rolla Skate Club: what do users think?
chrissie conway: Came here with a large group for a birthday party and was forced to pay a pricey fee just to enter even though I am temporarily handicapped and unable to walk. It seems a bit ridiculous as that fee did not come with anything besides being able to sit inside the establishment. It felt very discriminatory and unnecessary.
pixlando 99: Such lovely people. I appreciate their kindness, their support and guidance, their patience, and their fun attitude. I also appreciate their awareness of social issues, and the clarity and easy way they communicate about such issues (like the recent email about respecting Skate culture). I wish the physical space were more like the roller rinks of my youth, but that’s the only “negative” I have- I’m so glad to have Rolla here in Vancouver and can’t wait to get skating again (broke my toe, but I’ll be back soon)
Raymond Villeneuve: Lauren is the nicest lady. She very helpful to novice skaters as well.
Tanya Bennett: Feel like a kid again and roll around at Rolla Skate Club! My face always hurts afterwards from all the smiling, it is so fun!
Steve Y: Too expensive.
Kendra Pedersen: The classes, coaches, and community are all amazing, but what pushed me to write the review is that I am someone who is always plagued with technical glitches. The front of house staff and those who do the emails (usually Lauren aka BloodRaven) are AMAZING at helping me and getting back to me quickly. Whenever I have a problem or a question my email is met with a quick response right away. I always feel like my issues are taken seriously and are tended to in a quick and appropriate manner. :) Honestly the best customer service for any membership I've held in this city.
Anele: First time to roller skating. venue: friendly staff, nice people and atmosphere, great music, spacious.
Rachel Loerch: My friends and I had so much fun!!
Brandon Yttri: 12/10 will be back, perfect way to spend a Saturday night. Staff was all very helpful.
Anahita Bigdeli: I had called the number that was displayed and it told me that the number was old, then I sent a email and they had read it but never responded. So I checked the website and it said NOTHING about having to pre Pay for tickets so I went there and the staff member was rude and short with me and told me that it was very obvious that you had to pre pay, and said it was sold out said to leave and come again next weekend. Horrible service never coming back.
Alyssa Litowsky: Such a positive learning experience! Thank you!
Nofar Zaidie: Did the beginners course here with friends. The team is sooooo great and helpful. They are all fun and supportive. Can't wait to take more classes here!!Edit: Roller derby was recently introduced as well. Highly recommended.
Guy Robinson: In August, my friend and I went over to them to discuss about hosting a bday party in a month time. One staff told us what we could do. We were okay with the plan but on the day of the party at the end of September, we were told that we couldn't do many things for the party. One staff said this and the other staff said that. No one made sure with us. It was confusing and unpleasant for me and my friend and it was embarrassing in front of our party guests. We were not impressed with the management.
Kaitlyn Kelly: I Love this place a lot ! ❤️ I took the beginner rollerskate course and then the 4 week rollerskating 101 course with no previous experience on skates and it was an amazing experience. The skating community and the rolla skate club staff is so welcoming and friendly, I felt right at ease. I now attend the Saturday skate parties regularly and I love it. The skate parties are very fun and a great way to meet other talented and cool people in vancouver ! 💕
Victoria Holden: Absolutely LOVE being a Rolla member. It is so much fun to learn how to skate in such a welcoming and fun atmosphere. I take classes multiple times a week and the public skate nights and themed events are great. MAKE SURE TO WEAR YOUR PROTECTIVE GEAR! Discovering Rolla has made a huge impact on my life this year :) The classes are fun, the coaches are knowledgeable, and it's awesome learning fun new skills while actually exercising too. Highly recommend Rolla Skate Club to literally everyone.
justine lynn: There is a very positive environment here, it does not matter what level you're at. They adapt techniques to different levels and capabilities. They have been amazing for me as I can barely skate, the instructors have an honest but positive way of communicating with students to help them improve.
Stephanie Woods: Love it here!! The classes are so much fun. Such an amazing and easy way to get in some exercise. I also love coming for sparkle skate on saturdays with my child. Highly recommend.
Alexandra Martínez García: If you're looking for a place to start learning how to roller skate with great teachers, meeting people and have fun at the same time... This is the place! I joined the Rollerskating 101 for beginners and I'm so impressed by all I've achieved so far. They also have other programs, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere and staff are super friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it 👌
Vesna M: Absolutely amazing! Couldn't stand on skates when I started first 1on1 class but with a support of friendly and accepting staff here I am at 55 and Rolla skating.🙂
the awakened wanderer: Love it! The vibes are great. A learning place can not be more fun that this ❤️
Dave Roberts: My partner and I started lessons here and we have been having a blast. It's clear the super friendly team is dedicated to creating an inclusive and genuine experience. Looking forward to going more!

Hillcrest Rink: what do users think?
Cameron C.: Very nice ice rink. Ice is well maintained. I cannot comment on other facilities but overall a very nice area. They have a library, basketball court, fitness gym, swimming pool and ice rink all within the same quarters.
Ray Nat-Zoe: Very family friendly and local to the community !
Lucas Wolf: Fantastic ring..well managed. Clean and inclusive to everyone
Ann: One of our favourite places to skate! Good public skate times make it great for dates.
C Clarke: Definitely design over function with the arena seating. Can we stop hiring architects for public works who care more about the aesthetics of things rather than actual sports and spectators?
Maria Anna: Super fun music and great staff fun family time
Quentin Del Vecchio: Nice sport complex
Bart Lau: I really like the rink - spacious , well maintained skate rental , some public skate hours
Peter Liu: 住在这个社区的人有多幸福啊!溜冰、游泳、健身、棒球、图书馆……各种室内外活动场地应有尽有。
Tomas Rosas: Love how big the rink is, totally worth visiting.
Tak and Ching Chan: Good 👍,it also has a café
Douglas Kelly: Nice indoor rink, easy viewing, good staff
Tracy Robinson: Came to see a family member play hockey and I had the best time! There's a place above the rink that's warm and a place right beside the rink but it's a bit chilly so layer the clothes and maybe bring a warm throw blanket for your lap, a warm hat and gloves. But maybe you'll have such a great time like me to warm you up!
E T: Ice skating was great!
Benedict Tachja: Its a good place to skate and do hockey play together with friends and families. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. There is a cafe as well so after skate you can go to the cafe to buy some hot drinks or foods there. Really nice and it is close to the bus stop.
Nick Creery: Great ice over here!
Tom Mulligan: Great place to go skating
Rob Hahn: Cool rink.
Harshal Patel: Good place to try ice skating with friends and family! Affordable prices and rentals were good too. I found shoes sides a bit hard, it started hurting after wearing them for around half an hour.
Alex: Don't have infrared heaters near benches. There is very cold.
Jason Czorna: Very nice facility, but the ice conditions have been terrible lately. Whoever is running their ice resurfacer needs lessons.

Kitsilano Rink: what do users think?
Jerry Ladovsky: Who doesn't was t to learn to ice skate while visiting Canada
Derek Meng: Really good place to skate around and have fun. Usually not a lot of people in the beginning so it’s probably best to come first. The design looks very nice and (currently) it offers skate rentals for those who don’t have a pair! There are vending machines that are a bit tricky to operate but you can still get yourself a quick snack!(probably not during Covid though…)
Jogdish1000: Nice community rink with a small town vibe.Good ice!
jordan: Vaccine for skating ? Can't have fun here
Robin Rivers: Our favourite local skating rink! This gem is hidden away in the heart of Kitsilano and is one of those true community spaces. The staff is kind and the rink is always in good order.
Robin Ritchie: Nice cashier.Helpful skate rental man.
Kam bansal: Nice place for exercise
Andrew Nelson: Smallwr facility but very well kept rink.
Bryan Berndt: Amazing community center staff
Nexionate: Great place to skate
Anssi Puhakka: Nice staff and inexpensive place to skate
Ryan Montgomery: Old style rink
Rita Soni: A good range of programs available here, a nice sitting area with heat when it's on
Jean: Gem show August and DecemberSelenite wand! 5.00 dollars, perfect size and cut
David Grant: Cool place for a Hockey rink.
Ron Aloni: Needs a refresh. Happy we have a rink.
Quinn Duffy: Old, but the city finally replaced that dark ages tech they called lighting with some nice bright LEDs. I can see! I can see! Also, parking is a gong show when the Farmer's Market is on.
Aria Thompson: Great family friendly place with a clean facility
Nomad Traveller: Great sports venue
Simon Warrington: Good old Canadian community rink
Bradley Gagne: Grant, was there due to school field trip.

Killarney Centre Figure Skating Club: what do users think?
angela: There is no supervision during skating class, and few teachers on ice, but several may be higher-level figure skating learners to teach. I do not know if these figure skating learners are qualified as learn-to-skate teachers. Teachers do not pay attention to each learner, only some specific kids.
Haval Kawani: Best one
xkqitlynx: I love the Killarney ice skating place! Went there as a field trip. There are some prop things that you can hold on to skate to not fall. They have seats and some places to sit to watch people ice skate. Im pretty sure you have to rent the ice skating rink.. but im not sure I just went here 3 times for a field trip that's all. Not sure if I will return though. If your going I recommend bringing your family or friends to hang around :)
J L: Great club to learn how to skate, improve hockey skating skills and competitive skating. Coaches are Skate Canada certified and are very supportive of all skaters.
Robert Anderson: Horrible experience, killarney figure skating club pre-can/ can skate is an absolute fraud! The classes are taught by children, literally children. The “assistants” that they have helping the “instructors” are also children, but even younger - not older than like eight years old.Their website shows pictures of adult trainers with small classes with similar age kids. Not the reality at all!Instead, overcrowded classes with all ages and skills grouped together. It is a complete danger to your children to have the skill sets of toddlers on the ice with teenagers.I just called the club to get my kid out of the unsafe program, and instead was told they will not refund unless my kid is hurt - Gordon Kwan the “registrar” was argumentative with me and my wife, completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for such a poorly hazardously run program and to make matters even worse HE EVEN SWORE #*%! at us on the phone. He claimed he wasn’t swearing at us just at another driver in a fit of road rage 😡 that is the calm collected person they have in charge of this program!!!???What a joke, stick with the community centre run lessons unless you want to put your child thru hell.
Onceupontime Qq: 冰上运动

Joachim Pang: An awesome skating club for figure skaters of all ages and abilities. Very well organized and caring figure skating community.
Laine Slater: My daughter loves skating with the Grandview Skating Club. The coaches are fantastic, generous and kind. The lessons are structured, but the coaches make sure the kids are having fun too. The 1 hour CANSKATE program is wonderful and the kids progress happily. The more advanced STARSkate program is very unique in that advanced skaters with a range of goals are all welcomed and treated fairly. From those who want to pursue the competitive track to those who enjoy skating an progressing through the levels without competing, Grandview makes sure to work with each skater to achieve their goals. Britannia Rink: what do users think?
Lakshmi Sowjanya: Come here often for skating class in group setting. The teachers are pretty good and the staff are really helpful..You can take skates for rental by exchanging ur shoes and it's free.
Scott Wong: One of the older rinks in Vancouver, with its charm! Great location to restaurants on Commercial street before or after your visit. You can see the sign of age in the building, but that's part of the experience and nostalgic feeling you get coming here. Would be great if they can in heaters at the seating stand.
Lisa Watson: Great rink!
Kwang s Koo: The ice is always in good condition
Zac Jacobson: An old rink with tiny change rooms where visiting coaches have to walk across the ice instead of around the end of the rink to get to their bench. Our players report that the ice is pretty rough.
A C Zhou: Overall good rink, with lots of skates available for rent and lots of sitting area for parents to sit and watch while waiting for their kids' lessons. Instructors are patient with the younger kids. Parking lot is pretty big, but stalls are a bit tight.
Tom Katie Yee: Friday Night Hockey. First game went 0-0 score after 40 minutes. Epic game..Goalie heaven. BRITANNIA ARENA. Very rare
Alawy Sharifa: Good
Shay Maya: It wasn’t even ice. I went there for my friends birthday party we all hated it cause the rink was recked and there was holes.
Ella Lu: It felt like it wasn’t even ice and the price is a rip off I’ll never go there again and just for the record Killarney Community Centre rink is better then this.
Renée Frenette: Great rink for renting skates and having a fun afternoon of zipping around the ice! I went for "Free skate" and the rink is sectioned off - half for kids/learners and the other for other skaters. Music is playing, but not too loud. Great day! Note: buy your skate pass and/or rentals at the pool building (signs will show the way)
Peter Lin: One of my favorite ice rinks in Vancouver. The place is easy to commute. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I will continue to come here.
Liz Moran: Fabulous for teaching kids how to skate, especially for free
Jerry Boscariol: Love this rink. Great venue. Beautiful ice. Cannot say the same about the parking. I have been in many rinks and this is by far the worst for parking. Small spots with very few turn arounds.
Joseph Lau: Very convenient location to bring kids for hockey practice.
jesse cusmano: Changerooms could use a update
Randy Galler: fun and reasonable rates
Yuly Paola Ortiz Leguizamo: Good 👍
Craig Tugwood: One of the better ice surfaces around
Bretton Essler: Best ice in Vancouver
Nancy Boucher: Little strange to get into. Must turn into Cotton streat off of Venables. Would've been nice if there had been heaters.
