Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt.We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".

But Instead of being honest and introduce everything, she added them to the bill without our consent when we ready to pay.We didn’t figure out the calculations right away and already took out our credit card. We know there’s tax on the $2200 TV so few more hundred dollars on top seemed making sense.After we really looked at the computer screen, we found out S added all costs to us and how unethical she tried to do the business.It’s is Best Buy, you don’t do business like this. Each staff represents the Company.Be honest to sell!She was angry and left the counter right after we caught her trick.Of course we didn’t get the TV and also wasted an hour of our time.FYI, my wife was the Operation Manager.

Cally Aura: Came here after the Metrotown location employee had smooth brains and told be to look up what inventory they had because he was too lazy to help me.This location at Marine Drive saved the day. I placed an order online, then went and picked it up. I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Randomly looked online and found one with higher gb available. Called in to confirm availability. Asked if I was okay to exchange. It has been past 7 days exchange but not by many. Purchased on mar 3. Today is mar 14. Employee contacted manager and got a hard no on exchanging and paying more for a higher model. Didn’t even use the phone yet just bought ahead of time. Pretty bad customer service. Not worth saving a few bucks. Pay full price from apple and get top notch customer service. Stay away from stores with bad customer service.

Hossein Rastegar: I really recommend shopping at this store. In the summer of 2022, I bought an air conditioner which was supposed to have a heating feature as well. When I tried the heating for the first time in winter 2023, I realized that didn't have it at all. I called the store, they accepted that mistake right away with no question. Finally, they gave me a space heater for free, which was priced at 90 bucks before tax. However they couldn't replace my air conditioner with what I wanted to get at the first point, but they did their best to make me happy.

I wouldn't recommend buying anything here, more or less a tv for thousands of dollars from these crooks. This was a horrible, horrible experience and i should have called their head center to have one of the employees fired. Not worth wasting anymore of my energy. Consider yourself warned. Jessie Shen: Wanted to buy a Ninja Creami ice cream maker and I saw TVOUTLET selling them for $100 off retail price! I hit up their online chat support to ask what the stock at the Surrey location looked like and was given a prompt and professional answer. I went in store to buy it and was able to walk out with it fairly quickly. The machine itself is refurbished, the outer body shows some minor signs of use (scuffs and slight paint damage in one area) but the actual components of it were all new. Everything is functional and I was able to get it for much cheaper than retail price. Thank you!

Brian Hay: Bought a Dyson V10 vacuum through Best Buy for almost $600. It was claimed to be an open box product which I assumed would be an ex display model or a product returned within 30 days of purchase, definitely not the case with this, this vacuum had been seriously trashed for a very long period of time. Almost all of the parts were badly damaged and the machine itself was absolutely filthy with dust, grime and hair. The first clue was the box it was in looked like it had been pulled from a dumpster, upon opening it was revealed this was not just an open box product but a very old product that they are just chancing their mit selling through Best Buy. I immediately closed up the box and put in for a refund which in itself took a couple of weeks having had to get Best Buy involved to get a response from them. I was lucky, I got my money back and bought a new vacuum from the store. Buyer beware

Jakob Hnatiw: Bought a 75” lg smart tv from here they rescheduled the delivery 3 times with no heads up they called me when it was suppose to arrive at my house i ended up taking the days off to receive the delivery then they said they would rescheduled take off the delivery fee cause of the hassle and when i asked about the refund they said talk to the delivery driver for it then when the delivery driver showed up he said talk to the store and it was just back and forth also when the guy showed up to deliver the tv it was just one guy so expect to help unload and carry the tv to your house if you order from this place the tv was good but everything else was a headache

Nkyrtsos1: I bought a 70 inch Samsung TV 11 months ago. It was a great deal, and when they offered the extended warranty, I asked if the TV still has its own warranty. The fellow that was helping me said that the TV still has its warranty from the manufacturer therefore I did not bother purchasing anything extra. The TV failed 11 months later and when I called the manufacture they indicated that the television that I purchased, was actually meant to be sold in the United States, and I bought it in Canada. Therefore automatically it had no warranty. I called TVOutlet to inquire that perhaps they had made a mistake in the TV that they sold me being in the wrong region. The individual this time clearly indicated to me that there is no warranty with anything that you buy from them… Or at least the television. Disappointed that I wasn’t informed about that. They do have great deals but make sure you understand their warranty policy and anything that you buy. Again this experience is only with a television that I bought so I’m not too sure about the rest of their products.

I felt it was laughable considering the bracelet is a high demand item you wouldn’t melt but even if you did I’ve never heard of a place not paying the value of gold for that day. So be careful or you will get scammed here.

K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎

mayuri mammai: Today I happened to go to this store to buy mac book, and at the billing counter, unfortunately, my Credit card chip is malfunctioning, this person named Mathesh started giving me looks and showing an unnecessary attitude, without even looking at my card he said it was expired, as I was trying multiple times inserting my card, he was acting it out. I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄

Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.

S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Stephen Chan: Sunny Electronics is a local store by an owner operator with many years in the business. Several years ago, I bought a TV on sale from a prominent retail chain (not Sunny). I paid upfront for a TV that was supposed to be "in stock, in the warehouse" for pickup next week. Instead I got the run-around for over 3-4 weeks before getting it.Today I bought another special TV. To my surprise, Sunny was the only store to have it in stock. The price was the same as the big box retailers, but I feel the service is much more knowledgeable and honest. Pickup is very easy, with parking behind the store. It took less than an hour from calling, to getting the TV home.There aren't a lot of TVs on display in this store. But I already researched online. Indeed the owner confirmed, the TV I had in mind was the best. In this case it was a Sony. I would recommend this store.

Salesman was very unhelpful and didnt know much about the product. Kind of sad because my dad said he went there 40 years ago to buy a tv and had a great experience. I sent an email to Stephen at Sunny Electronics and he got back to me a few days later through the phone apologizing for his late response. Stephen really goes far and beyond what I expected. He is attentive, cares for his customer's experience and needs. You don't find too many people who work's in this field as genuine. honest and interested in assisting of your needs. Don VandenBerg: I greatly appreciated the many interactions that I had with Stephen, who has become my "go-to guy" for hi-fi equipment. Thanks to his efforts I was able to purchase a rare, high-end CD player, and he gave me a very good deal on this purchase. Stephen is very knowledgeable, and he suggested that I take the time to consider a less costly CD player with more features but very similar sound quality (even though a less expensive player would presumably have meant a reduced profit for him). It is clear that customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to Stephen. I had some interactions with only one other member of his sales team (Joseph) and he seemed to be just as courteous and supportive as Stephen. My shopping experience could not have been any better!! I strongly recommend Sunny Electronics.

For some reason their system showed one of the products had already been returned----I am guessing it had something to do with the price adjustment I got via a Best Buy live chat agent a few days prior. Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.

Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

Customer service was excellent, reprinted my receipt for me and helped me quickly exchange the TV for a different one. The team leader was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing job!!

Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.

Melissa C: Great store but don’t make the same mistake I did of leaving my parking ticket on the counter while purchasing products. Cashier thought it was garbage and I didn’t even notice my ticket was gone by the time I went back to the parking lot and had to pay $25 for a lost ticket. Seriously irresponsible to touch your customer’s things while they are in the store STILL BUYING A PRODUCT. I didn’t leave garbage on the counter on purpose I just took everything out of my pocket because the cashier needed to see my ID. I took everything with me on the way out I wouldn’t have left garbage for others to clean up.

Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.

Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

When the contractors came, I mentioned to them that we paid to have our old dishwasher taken away as well (a separate fee) but they said they knew nothing about it. They then left without taking the old dishwasher.When we I contacted customer service at Best Buy to handle this, I was passed around to 4 different people before being told that only one department handled these inquiries, and that they can only be reached by phone (fine).I have called this department over 10 times within their office hours and they either do not pick up, or do not offer solutions. I have spoken to so many different people and no one has been helpful. We have even tried offering solutions, but they say none of them can be done. It has been a very frustrating experience and my old dishwasher is still sitting outside my house.

Didn’t end up getting it but when I was leaving I noticed they had 4 sets of joy cons priced at 21.99 so I grabbed a set because I thought hey they’ve gotta honour it especially if they’ve got 4 there. Went up to the cash to pay and then got told they’re 112.99 I refused and showed them the picture of the price it was posted at and they refused to give it to me at that price because the product didn’t match the tag. I brought up the fact that if it was still wrong they’d have to honour it and take 10 dollars off because it is a law, they still refused to give it at the price and I had asked for the manager. The manager walked over and was told the situation and they just nodded their head and didn’t say anything . Very disappointed in the service that was provided, if your staff knows that the product is in the wrong place then there should be proper tags for the products. I will not support this location of Best Buy. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and it’s posted in the back on a plague that if products are in the wrong place they must honour the pricing and taking 10 dollars off.

D S: Best buy has a lot of good deals, but money is better spent on amazon if you're doing an online order. Best buy uses Purolator and your packages almost never get delivered. Amazon actually delivers your packages to your door. With Purolator, you'll be chasing down your package, calling them and messaging them to ask them to hold your package at their location, after which you need to take the bus out there. This is REALLY inconvenient to Best Buy customers, I would suggest they review this and see how they can make it better! Perhaps the Purolator shipping information could contain a Buzzer Number field, and phone number field to help the drivers actually deliver the package? If you need a signature, you might as well just have them leave a slip and have the customer pick it up from a Purolator office. Purolator fails to deliver packages 9/10 times. Best Buy definitely needs to review this, because it's not working the way it is.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Anyway, I can't remember during peak time do they store staff get additional incentive like sales commissions? The moment I step into this stores it's like lack of motivation. the staffs like more focus to chit chat among them specifically around mobile phone area. I still bought a phone cause of price matching or else would just walk away.

No one seems available to help and when we tried to check out we had to wait a long time to be noticed by the groups of staff. For some reason they closed the mall exit till like 10 minutes before closing? I get that it’s a holiday but for someone who want to support employment it makes it hard not shop at Amazon instead. Huge waste of time, effort and fuel.

It was black Friday, ofcourse everything was on sale and I could have bought that cellphone with a reasonable price. So, I paid the whole amount, waiting for my cellphone. They told me it would be delivered within 3 days.So...1 week.... 2 weeks... 3 weeks...nothing. and whenever I asked the reason, nobody responded me, they only said we don't know the reason. After one month when I called them, I was told to come and take the refund!!!! After one month! Now it's not black Friday anymore and I have to buy that item much more expensive.I don't recommend best buy. I would never go there anymore, even I don't wanna see or hear that name!

Just give me a flip phone and let me crawl into a hole of T9 dread, please.Did I ever check myself! The sales rep gave really solid advice and I only spent $200 more than I'd hoped but got way more than $200 value out of it. I didn't feel judged at all or the need to explain my social services worker occupational hazards.The sales rep listened to what I needed (just a phone that won't fall apart upon updates or an client's behavioural emergency please) and hooked me up with an affordable screen protector and solid brick. He even put my screen protector on my phone for free because he "does it all the time . . .if [I] have a few minutes just grab and coffee [he'll] be happy to take care of it."Super tight experience that I didn't expect from a big box store. Will totally be back when gravity and my union benefits fail me (3 weeks and as many updates in- still going strong!)I'll always pop into freegreek first but this is my first line for retail phones. Thanks!

Barton Moxness: Was very disappointed with my experience at this location. I was keen on upgrading a device through my existing provider (Shaw Mobile) to the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The amortized cost I was quoted worked out to a monthly rate of approximately $200 more than buying the phone outright, including a shady $45 'upgrade fee'. I informed that the device could not be purchased outright due to internal policies. Very suspect.I informed the sales associate, Alex, that I would like to first call my provider and explore the best course of upgrade since the price quoted worked out to more than the outright purchase. When asked if the phone in stock had multiple units available, I was told 'maybe' and that they would not be willing to let me know if the phone would be available should I return within the hour. This is downright poor customer service and bad business practice. Bid a respectful farewell to the associate and walked immediately out the way I came in. Will not be returning.I was able to purchase the phone direct from Google a few moments later for $1179 after being told the cost was $1,320 + $45 upgrade fee from Bestbuy Mobile. The same exact phone, brand new, not on sale or discount.
