Vancouver East Veterinary Walk-In Clinic: what do users think?
Desarae D: Great vet
Daniel: Although have a very good vet (Dr Shura) who we’ve been happy with the past 2 years, the limited & confused operating hours at this place keeps getting worse, while prices keep going up. Their Google maps opening hours here clearly show open on Saturdays, yet we came today from the other side of town to pick up medication, and the clinic has a sign inexplicably saying ‘CLOSED’. We received a phone message from them last week saying our medication was ready to be picked up, but now when we phoned to check where it is, they told us there is no record of it in their system. Very disappointing. Would no longer recommend this place.
Harmony Satori: Really friendly staff. Very upfront and honest vet. Easy to understand. Great location as well! Tons of parking A++
zzz zzz: Talked to this woman on the phone, heavy Irish accent very difficult to understand. Ask her to talk clear and slower. She will only tell me any fee’s visit price nothing else. Some vets are charging $100.00 a visit !!!
Mahsa Al: I had to see a doctor for my dogs urgently and I was looking for walking clinic. I called this vet and they were able to accommodate us within an hour. The doctor was super nice and knowledgeable.
Tiffany Liu: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Rae Clark: DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! After reading the reviews for this place I took my puppy here for his shots, they kept telling me that he had access ear wax and hairy ears that needed to be plucked at 30 bucks a pop. After 2 months of trusting this doctor I went to an animal hospital to get a second opinion. Turns out he had a SEVERE ear infection and had to be SEDATED so they could clean them out. HE COULD HAVE LOST HIS HEARING! HE COULD HAVE LOST HIS EYESIGHT, HE COULD HAVE DIED!!! This vet is incompetent. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!
Sarah Jennings: The vet and all the staff here are so kind and super helpful and their pricing is very reasonable. We had a bad experience previously at hemlock animal hospital and were left very much in the dark about my senior cats kidney disease diagnosis. The vet here at Vancouver east took the extra time to sit with me and explain everything in detail and come up with a treatment plan, and explain what our options will be in the future when her condition worsens. I'm so thankful we brought her here and got a second opinion. They will be our regular vet going forward with all pets, present and future.
Prodigal Daughter: 4 stars because I only dealt with one of the lady’s one time so I can’t say they are all as great as her. She calmly and understandingly took my mean little chihuahua in (with no muzzle) to clip his nails
Kowalski: Don't expect much help from the cat though, if it is working the front desk!
Michelle Dunn: We had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Kevin Shura at the clinic. He was a real treat in what was a stressful situation. He treated the symptoms as presented and was honest and upfront about associated costs and his recommendations. All the office staff were pleasant and friendly - having a sick pet can be a bit stressful and they made us feel comfortable. Their rates are fair and the service is extraordinary - while the limited hours might be a bit inconvenient if it isn't an emergency situation it is worth the wait to take your furry friends there!
Sheila P: We recently moved homes so we had to find a new vet in our area. I saw the reviews for Vancouver East Veterinary Walk-In Clinic so we booked our cat in here. Sadly, this was a huge mistake on our part. We took our cat in for her annual checkup. All of the documents were transferred from our previous vet to this one, so it should have her up to date vaccine information and other health background. Unfortunately, Dr. Shura didn't even pay attention to her vaccination history anyways, and despite our cat having gotten her 3-year vaccines in 2018, he said it was done in 2017 and then vaccinated her anyways. I didn't notice this until I got home and saw my previous invoices from the previous vet that said she last got the vaccination in 2018. A few days after we got home from the vet, my cat's hair started falling out in the area where the vaccination was injected. We tried calling Vancouver East Veterinary Walk-In Clinic on Wednesday at around 10AM and there was no pick-up (they are closed most of the week, open only for limited hours in the afternoon), no voice mail, and no emergency line you can call. We ended up having to drive back to our old vet to get her looked at because that was our only option. I understand that adverse side effect may happen after a vaccination, but I am very disappointed that the vet misread her vaccination history and gave her something she didn't need, and also we weren't able to reach them or an alternate number. When we were getting our cat looked at, Mr. Shura said to us that he doesn't like to overvaccinate animals because he'll get our money through teeth cleanings anyways (he had recommended a teeth cleaning for our cat). I couldn't tell if he was a vet or a used car salesman.
Carson Matthews: Polite, friendly, compassionate and quick, reasonably priced
Andy Krieger: I read many of the reviews and am not surprise by their outstanding comments. I had the great fortune to find Dr. Uri a couple of years ago. My beloved 4 yr old, QQ had a growth under his tongue. I took my little guy in for a checkup and Uri found it. Was not easy to see but he did it!! Then he repeated the miracle last month. QQ's growth is again, not malignant and I don't have the words to to express how grateful I am and how much I want other patients to know what an outstanding person and vet Uri is. I have had the opportunity to recently have worked on a project with him, outside of the office. He shines, not only as a vet, but as warm, sincere, and fun person. There's a bed commercial in which one of the speakers says, "I wish I could give the ____ bed more than 5 stars. I feel the same about Uri. Andy Krieger, QQ's dad Vancouver Aug 4, 2019
Cecillia Colbeck: We’ve had our cat for 19 years and this is one of the best vet experiences we’ve ever had. The doctor was experienced and knowledgeable and very compassionate. A thoroughly great experience even though our cat is sick.
AJ Tobin: Great honest VET who showed they really cared for my pup. Dr Shura was amazing, very calming and even had my dog licking his face - which is very unusual in a vet visit as hes normally petrified but Dr Shura made us both feel in good hands. Could not recommend them enough!
Deirdre: Thank you Dr Burstyn for your helpful recommendations that improved our cat's experience.
Yael Petel: Excellent clinic. The entire staff if friendly and professional. We go to Dr. Shura and could not recommend him enough. He is super calming and friendly to our dog and is very approachable to us. Always making sure we have time for questions. They give us the feeling that they are always covering all bases and check ups are thorough. We got our dog neutered there and all went great.
Wilson Tee: I have nothing but good experiences here. The staffs are friendly and helpful. You should see how happy my dog saw Dr. Shura. It was a reunion after almost 7 years. That says a lot how much fond memories my dog was with Dr. Shura previously. Unlike some vets that I have experienced in the past that blown up a small matter out of proportion and requested never ending and expensive examinations, I like Dr. Shura's much sensible approach towards curing our hairy baby.
INTEGRA INVESTMENT: Stay away from this clinic and ARBUTUS WEST ANIMAL do not trust Dr Uri Burstyn
Geoff Denning: Veterinarians are extremely helpful and spend time to explain everything. Best vet clinic in Vancouver!

Yaletown Pet Hospital: what do users think?
Summer Khan: Great place. Super caring and got us in last minute. However we just have to wait 2 weeks for our angel boys ashes. If it wasn't for that it would definitely be a 5 star
Inés Iwadare: Very professional
Sou O apocalipse Maninho: We chose this clinic based on the good reviews. I have to say we are not disappointed. They exceeded our expectations. They are very nice and friendly and their prices are much lower than other clinics in the area.
Matheson Murray: Staff are super helpful and lovely. You can tell they really care about every creature who visits.
Mike: Total money grab! Informed us that our 8 week old puppy has a level 2 murmur and his narrow base canine needs to be removed asap but first we need to do a heart scan costing $2000Want to another vet- No murmur, he is 11 weeks now and was informed that the canine was nothing to worry about yetPlease do you and your pet a favor and avoid this money hungry place
Trisha Husmillo: MONEY GRABBER AND TOTALSCAM! Stay away from this hospital. We originally chose this location as this was the closest one to our place. When we adopted our 8week pup, we scheduled a health check up with them. He was immediately diagnosed with heart murmur (which was a surprised to us as the breeder didn’t tell us about this) and the narrow base canine (aware of) has to be extracted asap. We were then referred to specialist and quoted us $800 for heart scan and $1200 for canine extraction for our 8 week puppy. As a first time fur parents, we got so worried so we seek a 2nd opinion today (he is now 11weeks) and did the 2nd vaccine. He is 100% healthy, no murmur and no need to worry about his canine. We were then relief!! Stay away from this hospital. Such a money grabber!!! They don’t really care about your pup! Also, a week ago when we are coming for 2nd shot of vaccine, we came in 10minutes late and cancelled us! And wanted to rebook us but has to charge us penalty for coming late the first time. Why would I ever go back andPay late charges? I’ll just move on to the next vet.
Emma Fletcher: My experiences over the years with this clinic have been great. My little dog was fortunate enough to have Dr. Spooner as her vet since she was just a few weeks old in 2008. He has been a source of reason and calm during the more stressful times of her now elderly life. I’ve always appreciated Dr. Spooner’s conservative restraint and accurate assessment with her diagnosis and treatment, as well as his gentleness with her. He has recently retired. My little old lady doesn’t have much time left, but I know that she will still be well-served at YPH. The clinic has gotten busier over the years, deservedly so because they are a solid clinic!
Kaley Merritt: Very clean and friendly space. The Veterinarians are really knowledgeable and helpful. I took my new puppy there to get his shots done and they were able to give me helpful information about his breed and things that I could do to prevent issues. The cost of making an appointment with the vet for any service- shots, health issues, etc- is a little higher than usual. YPH is really close to where I live and the service is great so I don’t mind the increased cost.
Nathan: Got my puppy neutered here! Friend staff - would recommend!
Barney Andersen: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Recommended for anyone living in the Yaletown neighborhood.
Mel Cooper: I was left super impressed with the vets and facility. After several traumatizing and expensive visits at other vets, I had lots of distrust and skepticism of the vet industry. There was no recommendation to do any tests that weren’t necessary and although the exam fee was a bit more than some clinics, i left paying less overall because they weren’t trying to scam me like other places. I also appreciated how clean and comforting the office was. The only thing i found to be too expensive for me was the food so i decided to buy elsewhere, but convenience is always going to come at a cost. I hope i don’t have to come back anytime soon, but will if i need to!
Tristan Hasselback: Great vets, great staff.
J. H.: Money grabber. We came here for our new puppy because it's right next door and has a decent google review score. The doctor made me book separate visits for my puppy's 3rd shot of vaccine and rabies shot. I have never heard of such things after owning dogs for my entire life. It only made sense when we found out each visit comes with a 100 dollar "check up fee", even when the rabies shot is 1 week after the 3rd vaccine, and the puppy was "checked up" again. After receiving the paperwork for insurance, we also discovered a temperature was registered for the visit when the doctor never even took my puppy's temp during the visit.
walter kendall: Very helpful
Delores Thai: I cannot say enough about the care and attention our sweet Millie received this week at YPH. We had a very stressful situation, mixed with other difficult circumstances. Every single person my husband talked to in person and on the phone/email were AMAZING. The doctors went above and beyond what we expected. We received frequent communication with words of care and kindness, attention and respect from the staff at YPH. Our family was under so much stress but we knew and felt that YPH was truly trying to do their best and their best to make our time more tolerable while Millie was in their care. I can go on and on and on. Our Millie is home now and resting after her two days at YPH. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We take comfort to know that she received lots of cuddles during her time there.
Esther Goldlust: My 8 year old Labrador Retriever ingested marijuana yesterday and I was completely distraught and overcome not knowing what happened to my beautiful girl. The team at Yaletown were miraculous in understanding, care and kindness! Because I was such a wreck when I arrived for help, I completely forgot about payment. When I called today to ask about my bill, the response was that there wasn’t one. My utmost gratitude and appreciation to the beautiful staff at Yaletown Pet Hospital.
Allyson Hayward: The same bag of Royal Canin food is $85 here and $61.45 at my vet. Something is wrong here lol
Rana S: We’ve come here for a few visits (after visiting another vet) and have been a much better experience. Our vet, Dr Nicole is thorough, patient, honest.
Beverly Siemens: My dog actually enjoys going here. Enough said.
Linda Burchell: The vets are amazing as are the techs - I was with Yaletown Pet since Dr. Spooner....and have always been so appreciative...of Dr. Spooner and Yaletown Pets...thank you and Dr. Myers is one of the most special people and vets you could have - and Tianna is a lovely Veternarian Assistant and all staff are just so lovely, caring and pet friendly - thank you All and thank you to Dr. Myers for his kindness with both my little ones!!
Carol Pollock: My puppy and I were attacked by 3 pitbulls in livingstone park. The owner left them all off lease to attack us. It was terrifying. Yaletown Pet hospital took her in as soon as we showed up and gave her amazing care. It's not cheap but it's so worth it. She's all good now - thank goodness!

Vancouver Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
Hippo: Avoid
Gordon Kerr: I have been coming here with my red heeler, Wyatt for a few years now, I'm always impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff. They explain things very well and make me feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. Even helped me get my kids back in the truck while I carried my super groggy dog.
Reban Nouri: If I could give them 0 star I would. I think they recently hired a new receptionist and she is very rude. My dog has thyroid issues and I am explaining to her that he will run out of his pills in a few days and need a refill and instead of saying yes no problem, I’ll put a two weeks order in for him and he will need to see the doctor to see if his condition gotten worse. She says” you can’t get a refill unless you make an appointment that is our policy to make sure the dose is the right does still” and I continue to explain to her at this point we know he needs this dose so I need a refill and continues to repeat the same thing. So I tell her so you are putting my dogs life at risk and hold his refill as hostage right now. You want him to feel ill until you do your test. She continues to repeat that 95% sure that the doc won’t approve it. This is unreal. You are putting my dogs life at risk so you can make a few hundreds. Keep in mind they could’ve told me about the blood work at his last refill. He has had this condition for the past 5 years and he has had this vet since his first shot. He is 9 years old. Every other receptionist that I had come across here before told me we cant do the usual refill quantity, but I can give you some until he gets blood work. Not this lady. She must’ve had a bad day or something. Last refill this same lady doubled the quantity of pills instead of his usual one and I didn’t t say anything because my dog needed it. They use to be good, but not anymore. I am moving my dog somewhere else.
Christina Thoma: Our chihuahua had a tooth emergency that required extractions and the clinic took very good care of her. She recovered fast and is doing great. We felt confident and well informed throughout the process even though we’re far from home and this was our first time visiting the clinic. Thank you.
Leo Li: Very helpful staff and good atmosphere overall. Doctor Amy Cheung is the best as always
Karlee P: We greatly appreciate the care our new puppy has received from Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. We were so impressed by getting a follow up call from the veterinarian on a long weekend! Thank you to everyone at VVH!
Carson Tai: Very kind and helpful staff. Takes very good care of my dog. They are quick to respond to emails as well! Thanks!
Newsha Khalaj: I have reported them to the complaints board of College of Veterinarians of British Columbia because of our experiences here and what they did. I would NEVER recommend them to a single pet owner.
Jane Dyson: Thank you to all the kind and gentle folks at Vancouver Veterinary Hospital. We have been clients here for over 20 years and we and our beloved pets have always received excellent, tender loving care. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Philip Wolfman and Jennifer who spent so much time working with our little Ecco. We miss her deeply, but know she received the very best care from you. Take good care until we see you again.
Cathy Li: To respond to the owner’s response below: first of all, I was talking about your attitude and the way you treated a customer of your business. It was disgusting how you being so cocky that morning, when I asked for help from you to explain something on the consent form. 2nd, when you and your business call yourself as animal advocate, you take the moral high ground to force ppl to do thing in your way, and that’s why being one day late from what a vet recommended is not acceptable by you, regardless someone has spent thousands of dollars and in the meantime suffering from a shocking news. You can list all the facts of my cat’s critical conditions, but it’s not your excuse to threat your customer. 3rd, you gave a background of the situation, including saying the vet had concern of my cat might have heart failure in Dec, to support your response. However, this is exactly the evidence to show the problem of your business. I have NEVER been told that the vet had such concern before the ultrasound. I wasn’t mentioned anything about heart failure in Dec. Your business has communication issue, giving the fact that we had different doctor almost every appointment, and that every time I called, either for follow up questions or appointments, I had to repeat the thing again and again, your staff didn’t know much about a client’s history or what needs to be done. I don’t feel being cared from a so called “animal advocate”. Last but not least, technician also needs to interact with ppl, some customer services and emotional intelligence workshops may be helpful to you. - on Feb 23I have been taking my cat to this clinic over 10yrs and today I had the worse experience I ever had. The staff was so arrogant and didn’t bother to explain the form I need to fill out, until I told her that I don’t understand some medical terms. And I was forced to book an appointment by this staff, regardless I had emphasized that I need to see a doctor that I’ve talked to and can easily communicate with, even the appointment is only one day after the day she wants me to book, and her reason is that the doctor advised that I must bring my cat in that specific time. She just kept pushing. As a pet owner, I’m responsible for my pet’s health and I understand the risk. I hate being treated in this pushy and threatening way.I wanna give negative if I could, 2stars only for the past experience and old staffs.
Dora Prieto: Really fantastic staff and I found all the vets had a really nice way of working with my cat, making him feeling comfortable and letting him settle into the room and sniff instruments etc. felt like they cared and they weren't trying to just push us through asap.
Mister Kim: I would give minus 5 stars if possible. I ordered meds earlier this week. I called before going to to confirm. I arrived today and they were out of the meds I HAD ORDERED AND THEY SAID WOULD BE READY!! VVH is not close to my house. Its not convenient for me to go. I dont have time to go twice in one week. I DIDNT EVEN GET AN APOLOGY. The rude woman, who obviously messed up my order, just shrugged and said “we get our orders on Tuesday!” THAT DOESNT MATTER. YOU TOLD ME TO COME SATURDAY! Im never going back here. Its going downhill fast. Stay away from this place.
Abby Nicole: Best vet in the city!
JSM: Been taking my dog here for awhile, the doctors and staff are super helpful!
Christa Siminiuk: Very kind, friendly and caring staff. Thank you!!
Irma Reid: First time here for my Grandkitty, wonderful doctor and wonderful staff!
Mima Accettura: Sadly leaving this veterinary facility due to a lack of communication and care for animals welfare and owners welfare. They will ask you to bring in your dog early only to have your dog sit and wait for half the day while nothing happens. Telling you that the Dr's are doing the work when in fact it is the Technicians who are doing the majority of any work. If you tell the staff important information that must be conveyed to the Dr's it does not happen even if this information is critical to owner safety. For instance not being able to drive in the dark therefore requiring that the work be completed in time so that I could safely drive home. They charge like the Dr is actually performing the tasks but in fact the Dr. performs a review of the work completed. Suggests extractions of course!! I no longer trust this facility. I don't like being lied to but they will say they miss spoke?? There are alot of staff in front and back and that is what you pay for. Vet suggested that soft tissue Surgeries are performed first which I replied why was I asked to bring my dog in at 8:30 am? His response was that emergencies take priority having mentioned that spaying and neutering are first on the list??? I don't consider these emergencies but still doesn't answer why my dog should have been brought in so early or why I wasn't given all this information to make the most informed decision to leave my dog there all day only to have his teeth cleaned so late in the afternoon by technicians that I had to demand the return of my dog so I could safely drive home. The more I became anxious the longer they took and kept stalling me. This facility operates arrogantly. Very upsetting and frustrating to not be respected. They are too expensive for obvious reasons none of which include efficiency and customer respect which are severely lacking. I'm bringing my dog to see another vet for a second opinion. This vet clinic would have extracted 4 teeth if I had not questioned them and still a simple cleaning cost 1200$$$ and a dr was barely involved in the process. They suggest a wiggly tooth should be extracted? Yikes there is a serious problem here.
Elaine Leung: Vets and staff are knowledgeable and genuine.
J M: I have nothing but praise for VVH. Dr. Kong and all of the other veterinarians have been so caring and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have found this place.December 9, 2022I can think of no other way to express my deep appreciation than through a review. Today I had to say goodbye to my cat, and the kindness and thoughtfulness of Drs. Kimberly Cruz and Irene Kong and the staff at VVH is priceless.
A Vant: We have been taking our beloved cat here for her annual check ups for the past 4 years. Reception is friendly and helpful. Vet techs are skilled and professional. The Vets are always sweet (towards are skittish cat) and super knowledgeable, following up lab results by calling us and explaining everything in detail when needed. No upselling of services. Just quality animal care.
Tough Age: i have been lucky to have almost exclusively good vet clinics in my long life of living with Cats with Issues and Vancouver Veterinary far and away has been the best. The team’s dedication and care for our cat is so clear and noted to the point that our cat doesn’t even mind the visit and she hates everything! I couldn’t recommend bringing your pet here more highly.

West Boulevard Veterinary Clinic: what do users think?
P Y: They have helped me and my dogs for over 10 years. They are both caring and compassionate.I've always felt comfortable coming here and so have my 4 legged friends.
Linney Sylvester: Excellent; rabbit savvy. I really wish they ran some kind of emergency extension/on call service, but that's wishful thinking in a stupid world. I highly recommend if u own a rabbit, it's diffuclt to find exotic vets in Van. So far I have always felt treated fairly and with care. Friendly front stand, pleasant on the phone, and caring vets. Recommend.Went for my bun's yearly check up. He is very healthy and was taken great care of by the vet. Excellent staff.
Zal Saper: We have been bringing our bunnies to West Boulevard for years. Excellent care during this most recent visit, as always! Many thanks to the excellent vets and staff there!
A.L. Smithe: West Boulevard vet has been taking care of my cat for 10+ years. Dr. Rurak has been great and all the receptionists have been absolutely amazing, including Kathy, Erin, and Mandy, except for one of the receptionists, Evelyn. She’s one of the newer receptionists I believe, which is why I’m giving them 2 stars (I'm sorry WBVC team). Evelyn is really rude and has no compassion or patience - when you’re calling in about your sick pet and you’re already super worried, she’ll only make your day worse. She’ll interrupt you as you speak and will make you feel like you’re a bother. I hope your call doesn’t get greeted by her because trust me, she’ll make you feel terrible (though she might change her attitude after reading this review - which I sure hope she does, for the sake of the other clients). Thank you Dr. Rurak, Kathy, Mandy, and Erin for taking wonderful care of my pet - you guys are the truly the best.
Tracey Gong: Dr. Solomon has taken care of our Lacey for several years. She is super knowledgeable and reliable!
Douglas Ramsden: Great people and always great with our cat and dog
Sonya Durante: They are the best for my bunny, so thorough, Clearly experts & always so gentle and caring. 💜
Wendy Smith: Simply the best!
Milena Venancio: UPDATE: Can’t recommend Dr. Rurak and Dr. Solomon enough. Such sweet, professional and caring people. I feel my cats are in good hands with them. I only recommend to book your appointment in advance because they’re usually pretty busy (which is understandable!)-They are taking all the covid precautions and took a good care of Isaura, my persian cat. I am really pleased with the experience and already making plans to book an appointment for my other cat :)
Thomas Powell: So gentle and caring with my bunnies. Thanks wbv!!
Betty Nemet: Our boy Bill, aka 'Sweet Billy,' ( he's a cat, but we don't tell him that!) is a very loved & precious member of our family! At West Boulivard Vets, We are very sure Bill receives not only the very best care & attention possible, but the care is given with much love & adoration! Bill's last appt with Sarah, was a very good & positive experience, filled with great care, loving affection & gratitude! Bill says..' thank you Sarah! I love you & look forward to seeing you again, not too long from now!' 💕 💞 ♥️ 🐾 😻
Tracy Huitika: Everyone from the front line staff to the vets are stellar. Everyone remembered me and my pets, and even asked about my family. They took amazing care of my buns throughout their entire lives and when it was time to say goodbye, they were supportive and empathetic throughout the entire process, accommodating me with appointment changes when I wasn’t ready and squeezing me in when it was time. They sent me a sympathy card for each passing that every staff member signed. Incredible care both professionally and personally!
jessiemarie deplissey: The vets and the vet-techs are caring professionals. I can't imagine any better care!
Yin Huang: My Rabbits, Tibbers, Pekoe and Poppy have been patients for quiet a few years. Dr. Potter and Dr. Rurak has given my pets exceptional care. Her staff are caring and compassionate and have a can do attitude. There has been a two emergencies with my buns where I had to take them in within 24 hours and luckily they were able to board them and tend to them when they can. I would highly recommend booking in advance to ensure a slot as they are heavily booked.Thank you West Boulevard Team!! The community is so appreciative to have you.
Arly Akman: Very angry and disappointed that Dr. Rurak was not there when mydog was in dire need of care and euthanasia. My dog was her patient for 14 years and attended their daycare on a weekly basis yet she would not see her for 5 days and I had to go elsewhere to have my beloved companion euthanized later that evening. No compassion whatsoever!
Jen Johnson: The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. All our concerns and questions were answered and we felt that our dog has been cared for and his needs met more than 100%! I also appreciated the reminder for our annual check up via text message, it made it very convenient for me to book an appointment.
Charlene Hsia: Dr. Rurak and all the staff at West Boulevard Vet Clinic are nothing but compassionate, professional and kind. Vet visits can be scary and anxiety-inducing--my dog Bobo has had a few health issues the past few years and they have always treated us with patience and top-notch medical attention. They are efficient at booking/taking appointments and everyone is so friendly and gives us as pet parents a total peace of mind.I couldn't recommend this vet clinic enough!
Beth Greer Pierre Gaulupeau: This is a fantastic team! My dogs have been coming here since 1968 for a reason. The vets are knowledgeable, compassionate and sensible. My bills seem to be reasonable, even modest compared to other vets. Above all the dogs, and the humans, have been treated with so much kindness that this is one of my favourite places in the city!
SweetYellow101: I have been taking my cats to West Boulevard Vet for 20 years. They listen to the owner and never try to pressure or upsell me on treatments/food.
anzelle binks: Amazing vet and amazing staff, they have always been so kind and considerate to me and my animals. They have treated my dwarf rabbit Tino and my hedgehog amazingly over the past few years.Above and beyond patient care and customer service, they have a genuine care for all of their patients / owners, whole staff is amazing. Many times they have explained or given advice over the phone/ email when they were unable to squeeze me in short notice. They have always been very patient answering any questions i’ve had, even when they were busy and didn’t have to do so.Great vets are hard to come by, Especially for exotic animals. I have always and will continue to recommend them. Thank you WB team for everything you do! We appreciate you 💗
Bryan Sauder: This is the best vet! Their kind and professional care shows in my dog & cat’s excitement upon arrival. Gone are the days of dragging your shaking animal to receive care. Phoebe (dog) and Stella absolutely love going here! They go above and beyond to help, providing compassionate and honest advice sometimes even over the phone if they can’t fit us in. In these days of veterinary care being hard to come by, I can’t thank them enough for their reassurance and guidance. They consistently go above and beyond expectations. This vet is a true gem and I can’t speak more highly about the staff. Thank you WB Vets, we feel lucky to have you care for our animals.

Atlas Animal Hospital & Emergency Vancouver: what do users think?
Kevin Boyle: A dirty premises is always a bad sign. There was clumped dust and an empty glass vile under the treatment table. The vet literally didn't touch our pup or put him on the treatment table but she did recommended a 24 hour stay ($450), x-rays, x-ray review and blood work. Was going to cost us $1,000 or more. Avoid unless absolutely necessary. Found out afterwards that our vet avoids sending people here. Atlas has a bad reputation around town.
Hannah Goertzen: Very quick and reasonably priced. $90 for our cats shots and worm treatment. Looking forward to going back in a month to complete our kitties shots.
Donya Rad: I’ve been to many vets in my lifetime and I’m so glad to finally have found Atlas. I will happily make the 45min drive anytime needed. They are honest and get the job done and don’t try to oversell you like every other vet. They have helped my pets, my parents pets, and pets of those I’ve recommend Atlas to quickly and effectively each time. I highly recommend!
The Voice Bc: wrote:Six years ago, my beloved chihuahua underwent a traumatic experience at a veterinary clinic. He received blood tests, shots, and had his teethremoved, but his condition worsened when he returned home. He had difficulty breathing and was in distress at night. Instead of conductingan X-ray, the clinic prescribed antibiotics, which made it clear that their main concern was making money rather than my dog's well-being.During the second week, my dog vomited up a gauze that had been left in his mouth by the clinic. When I confronted the clinic, they deniedresponsibility and blamed my dog for picking it up from the street and eating it (the gauze is bigger then his throat even though this breed is very picky about what they eat). It was heartbreaking to see how my beloved dog was treated. I urge the public to be cautious when choosing a veterinary clinic and to rely on recommendations from trusted sources. Our pets are part of our families, and their health and welfare should be a top priority. Please be aware of the potential risks involved and choose your vet carefully.
Nicole Chacon: Got my Chihuahua puppy spayed here! Awesome service! My 6 month old Chihuahua got spayed here. The process is very quick and easy (no need to make an appointment. Just call them to ask for procedure). I just had to drop her off in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon. She healed up very quickly, the vets and staff were attentive during her recovery and I am so happy with the process overallI have been taking my Chihuahuas for months there now as they have great service!
Erika Moya: Terrible place, don't take your pets here if you care about them. Got a bent needle on an impressively well behaved dog that barely did a whimper for the first shot and stayed still, no idea why the doc got so nervous he just stabbed my poor pup on the spine so badly. Also recommended (wrongly and irresponsibly) to give rabies booster even though my pup had just gotten it 6 months ago, half a year too early. And keep in mind that when you ask for recommendations he's going to recommend things based on your human comfort even if the differences between two options on that front are negligible and you're specifically asking on what is best for the actual dog, the patient, not you. It took like 4 attempts at asking for him to understand that I want what's best for my dog not what is easiest.
Stephers S: I really appreciate Atlas Animal Hospital. I have brought my kitties there for many years and I know a lot of the staff there who are generally pretty friendly and helpful. There are a few vets there I really like too. It is convenient that it is open 24 hours. The only thing that I'm not happy with is a couple of vets that have been on the late shift. Of course there is a rotation so not always the same vets are there at the same time. My issue with these 2 vets was their over charging and poor awareness of my animal's condition - but these were exceptional situations and not the norm which has been generally great service and decent prices (for the most part). I find the daytime vets and staff to be excellent most of the time.
Danielle Lai: Terrible. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr.Patyal deemed my cat "healthy" but my catwas sent home with a grade 3 heart murmur, upper respiratory infection and I contractedringworms from my cat. Avoid if you can. Iasked to speak to the Dr, and have beenignored ever since. Seems to me I am not the only one who has had this experience. I encourage those who have received a misdiagnosis to report it to the CVBC.update: went to a new vet and my cat was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. don’t waste your time or money at this vet.
Annyha “Poo” Klingner: Blue my girlfriends little chihuahua got attacked by a bigger doggy and ended up with his eyeball hanging out having to be removed. This vet did the most spectacular job fixing little blue even tho the eyeball couldn't be saved he looks fantastic be saved
Ashley: The best vets in B.C! I’ve been taking my pup Kobi here for the past 2 years and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon! All of the vets and assistant are very kind and skilled individuals. My dog has had many incidents and medical issues throughout the years and has always been treated well at Atlas. Thank you to the amazing team at Atlas animal hospital, 10/10 recommend!
Samanda Pulo: I know there’s a lot of bad reviews on here and can’t speak for every vet in that clinic but I’ve seen Dr. Navdeep Khinda a few times in regards to some issues I’ve had with my kitty and it’s been a good experience. On my last visit with Dr. Khinda he patiently explained and answered all my concerns and I got to leave with a peace of mind. It’s also very affordable which is a plus. They aren’t pushy in upselling services your pet doesn’t need and they were very understanding and professional. I was in and out (without an appointment) within the hour and I’d recommend this place.
Tony L: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThe staffs are clueless and the vets are very incompetent. Never take your pets here for emergency. I won't be coming back even for something as simple as taking a shot. There's a vet working in the evening with light orange hair, that is rude as hell and can't answer any questions. STAY AWAY PEOPLE.
Yousof Amir: Just a money making business instead of checking my dog for directly asking for blood test and xray costly hospital not recommended .
sam sam: Highly recommend. technicians, and other staff are collectively very kind, considerate, and caring. Highly recommend Dr Rajan and Dr Bhullar. Tommy came in with a serious condition, and they nursed him back to health. They are the best!
Nat M.: No denying that the vet knows his job but there should be changes for bedside manners. The doctor would not knock before entering and would burst in. It not only startled me but terrified my pet who was already frightened being in an uncomfortable space. Also, it sounded like 5 people were having a party in the back area. They were very loud and obnoxious and laughing. I don't mind employees having fun onsite and getting along, but they were very loud and made the experience here very anxiety ridden. My pet was shaking in fear and I was trying to soothe him with the obnoxious behavior nearby. What was worse, I could hear an animal crying, either in fear or in pain. How can anyone laugh and ignore an animal in distress? My experience would have been a lot better if the environment was a calm and professional one.
Nick Fontaine: We’ve been taking our pets here for years, and we’ve always received an incredible level of care at a price that doesn’t make us feel taken advantage of. Highly recommended.
Maria P: This is the worse place to bring your pet, I brought my dog here beachside he was acting weird and wasn't feeling good, he normally isn't like that so we knew something was wrong. We took him here and the doctor took about 30 min to come in and check my dog, I don't even think they were busy since they weren't any people in there but about 2 and could hear the through a door doing nothing.you have to overpay for everything they charge you about $400 for a 24-hour stay, even if your pet doesn’t stay the full 24 hours and they won’t give you your money back for that. They probably just leave your pet in a cage for those 24 hours, I don’t think they even properly care for them. You won’t have your pet back till you pay. I assume they suggest that your pet stay 24 hours even if your pet doesn’t need it just to charge you. I will not bring my pet here again and I hope no one does either unless you want to get scammed and get the worse care for your pet.
Saman Deol: Love this place,I brought my Doberman with GDV here , I was ready to Euthanise him but they charge me 1/4th amount as compared to other clinicRecommend this place for pet lovers
Jyoti Dhawan: Nothing but good experiences all around. I used this vet with a small senior dog when I last lived in Vancouver 4 years ago and I go to this vet now with my young lab mix. Definitely recommend : )
Maninder Sharma: We have an 8 year old dog and have had our fair share of vets over the years. Our regular vet was closed and we needed an emergency appointment so we ended up trying this place and are so glad we did! All of the staff here are so friendly and really seem to care. They listen to our concerns and I don't feel like we're being upsold unnecessary tests or medication. It's a bit nerve-wracking trying a new vet but every doctor and vet tech we've had here we felt like we can trust. Great 24hours and ability to squeeze you in for quick check ups, etc. We've since transferred over to this place as our new vet!
Jasjit Singh Mittu: A perfect place for petsMy Dog love to go this vet

Norgate Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Cecile Ryder: We have three elderly dogs and the care at Norgate has always been excellent and affordable.
Iwona Hughes: Excellent service. Accomodating in setting appointments. Great care. We have 4 kitties, and would not take them to anywhere else.
Mathew Bissell: Great place. Gave me good advice over phone and saw my cat immediately. Very caring and patient.
Katrena Jordan Pringle: Vets and staff were so helpful and kind. They showed my kitty much kindness (especially how scared she was going in).
Sia Kaskamanidis: I want to say that Dr Danny and his lovely nurse Claire, did such an amazing job putting my Dolly to sleep in my own home. Not many places offer this service. As soon as I opened the door for him, he went straight to my Dolly to show her love. He caressed her and talked to her. His gentle demeanor kept her relaxed. He let me be with her while he continued his work and explained every step of the way. He was patient until we all said our goodbyes to her. Dolly left us very peacefully without any complications. He did not charge me that day and said i could pay when the ashes would be ready within 2 weeks. He carefully wrapped her body with respect and offered his condolences. Thank you Norgate Animal Hospital.
Srdjan Grujic: Very pleasant atmosphere, kind staff and very professional and informative. I will definitely be back.
Patricia Nathan: Dr. Danny has always been extremely attentive to our dogs' needs and the office staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.
Genevieve Hassan: Always a great experience
s s: I have been coming to Norgate for years. They have been always super friendly. They are especially great for animals that need support in an emergency setting. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 is I do find them to be a bit pricey. Overall great vet!
Ingrid Cruz: My cat has been treated multiple times at Norgate Animal Hospital. Customer care is excellent and has always exceeded our expectations. I am thankful for this place, which has made a huge difference for our cat.
Sandra Schemmer: Most pleased with this service right up to the inevitable goodbye with my dog/companion.Highly recommend.
Laura Pinchin: Everyone was so kind, caring and honest. I was very happy with the care that my boy got and I didn’t feel overcharged at all. I will definitely be referring this vet clinic to my people.
Noelle Natraoro (Noelle Gobin): Staff are able to handle my feisty 9 year old female cat. Dr. Danny Sidhu. is really good with her.
Foxling “Falling Stardust”: This place was really nice and the staff were all really friendly! The vets do a great job thoroughly checking for any problems/concerns we have and provide really helpful tips and solutions :DBonus points for the store pet hehe.
vincent denault: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueTop-notch service… Thank you
Philamena Wilson: All the staff are so kind!! And the dr helped my cat so quickly!
Alejandra Taborda: Amazing Service, Dr. Danny was great with our puppy Mango, I highly recommend the Norgate Animal Hospital.
Diana Vasquez: The staff is very nice, my dog was very well taken care of.
Angela Butterworth: I like Norgate animal hospital because I feel that Pearly our cat is treated with love and I am treated with respect and my thoughts are considered and questions answered.
Joe Evans: Would not recommend based on my experience which seems to be the same sentiment. All about adding on services not required that a experienced vet would be able to determine via physical examination and proper experience or education on cats. Instead would like to use equipment with major cost to use to verify what a physical examination would determine. Also the food they carry is awful quality with main ingredients being "meal" or "by product" which is typical for mass made food that's not biological appropriate or nutritional enough for longevity. Our visit totalled $1000 so be prepared to have some sticker shock on anything recommend and don't allow scare tactics to not wave your options of going somewhere else for a second option like we should have done.
Catherine Pham: Professional and welcoming staff and quick to respond and fit me in for an impromptu appointment.

Kitsilano Animal Clinic: what do users think?
Andrew Taillon: Longstanding relationship with this local clinic and can truly say that the team has always demonstrated the top-drawer care one would expect——but not always obtain——from a centre for our beloved “Furfaces”.
Jo-Anne Duval-Reynolds: Dr. Brar was was professional. The only negative comment I have is that my dog never sees the same vet.
Allan Henderson: We've been bringing my cat Princess to Dr. Cavanaugh since we adopted her 2 years ago. Kitsilano Animal Clinic was recommended to me by a friend. I couldn't be happier with the great care we've all received here!
Tatiana Borunova: Dr.Terry is awesome we trust her with our little ones and staff at the clinic is really nice and helpful
T Snape: Terry is wonderful - so knowledgable, always feels like she has the best interest of our dog and our family in mind and not trying to inflate costs or recommend unnecessary procedures.
Dylan Kirby: Attempted to bring our dog here and they "aren't taking new patients"What kind of a Vet doesn't take new patients... animals need occasional checkups and medication on a regular basis but rarely have the patient load of a human being.Serve your community properly
Bill F: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueAll of the above!
Isabel Rios: They really take care of my 4 legged baby Frankie!
Amanda Lynn: My cat is so chill about coming here! He never puts up a fuss -- probably because we're always in and out so quickly, and everyone gives him compliments :D I always leave appointments feeling positive about the care he receives. Thanks for the great work, Kits Animal Clinic Crew!
Julie Sedger: Dr Terry Eisen is a fabulous vet. Very experienced - she’s been at this for many years - and she’s also down to earth, explains everything clearly, and she’s a warm and fuzzy, ie not overly “clinical,” and a genuine lover of animals which you’ll appreciate if your pet is needing medical attention. Trustworthy. And the office staff are smart and nice - this is also much appreciated. ♥️
Ellie Blackmore: Friendly and good service. They helped me with an emergency appointment when my dog had an eye infection. Vet wasn’t the friendliest but the woman in reception was super helpful over the home. It’s pretty expensive for a quick checkup and I was disappointed that they charged $50 for prescription eyedrops that I’ve paid $18 for elsewhere.
Eden H: Dr. Terry is our favourite and only vet we trust in the Lower Mainland. The reception staff are also very kind and welcoming. I’m grateful for how much they’ve cared for our dog Jones over the years.
Franck Auer: Dr. Eisen is a wonderful doctor.
John Burke: Been with V.A.C. for more than a decade. The vets were wonderful when my dog passed last year and are taking great care of my new puppy.Love Dr. Yavuz, Dr. Eisen, and her staff!
Keith, Christine Tam: Prompt, friendly staff, and knowledgeable vet.
Pamela Kalas: Fantastic. Wonderful care for my pet and very helpful information for me. Everyone is supportive and patient.
Maria Herrera: I have 4 cats so its very important to have an honest and reliable vet clinic. I am always happy with the care they take with my kitties and the time they take to explain the issues. Gives me peace of mind!
Blair & Kat MacIsaac: I have brought both my cats here for 5+ years. They are fantastic. They have worked with me and my budget to make sure that my cats have the best care and solutions to their occasional health issues and accidents.A very good friend of mine also goes to this clinic and I accompanied her when it was time to put down her elderly and sick cat. The deep understanding and compassion they expressed, even allowing her to go in to pet and say her last good bye was extremely heart warming... it still brings tears to my eyes. They understood the need for closure in the difficult time. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone.
Ross Moster: Excellent care. Great staff and vet!
Glee Devereaux: We love Dr. Terry and so do all the pets.
Laurie Hamelin: We LOVE Terry and her team!

West King Edward Animal Clinic: what do users think?
Jennifer Emm: Treatment plan lacked clarity, my cat still has an ear infection after more than a year. Always a different vet and their opinions are inconsistent. Very expensive too.
P P: Jackie McDowell murdered my dog, I was in shock and repeated to her several times that I did not want to put my dog down. I wanted to take her home, She knew that but kept pushing me to put her down. I told her that I was uncomfortable, didn’t feel safe and that I wasn’t thinking clearly because of shock. She forced me into euthanasia, she works at this clinic. All people should be aware and forewarned of her murdering ways towards the fur babies. This is a photo of Duchess the dog, Dr. Jackie McDowell murdered. Years later I still suffer from acute grief because of this awful vet.
ari s: Best vet!
Illene Yu: Dr. Boo is one of the most compassionate, gentle, and kind veterinarians I've had the pleasure to meet. The staff at West King Ed Animal Clinic on Cambie are all friendly and professional.
Monica: Dr Boo is the best! The staff here took great care of Ralphie and found out exactly what was going on. They clearly love their jobs and it shows! Thank you so much for keeping my senior so healthy!
Learning through Stories: Feeling being ripped off, being charged twice for doctor examination fees within three weeks! My cat is supposed to have vaccinations but since we are not sure if she’s pregnant or not, so the vaccination cannot be done as scheduled, they can just simply let client know that vaccine is not recommended at this point. No need to do another check at this point! More important, after last check, I have confirmed with the doctor that I won’t be charged again before the coming vaccination. But they charged me today, talked to the manager, but she just say that she has to pay for the time of the new doctor ( which I didn’t request change) and they say it’s for different issues? Which I really cannot agree on this! Very upset! Being ripped today!!!The doctors I met here are nice and professional, however one of the front desk girl was a bit inpatient and beat the desk when I questioned about today’s charge.
Magali Signourel: A good vet like we need more of them. Real vet, real prices. He saved the life of my cat and has been following up. They do care about the owners too. Anyway, would not recommend this vet enough. Dr Harry and his team are all caring and very pro. Thanks again!
Sarah May: It took me a while to find a vet in Vancouver that had availability for new clients. WKE was my third attempt at finding a vet that was reasonably priced, skilled, and compassionate. Unfortunately it’s a rare quality to find a vet that doesn’t make you feel even worse when you go to see them with a sick pet. I’ve been so happy at WKE: they truly care about animals and also treat pet owners with care when we’re at our most vulnerable. Their prices aren’t cheap but they are reasonable in this market and they don’t overcharge for unnecessary treatments or diagnostics. Plus they are very transparent about costs and never make you feel bad when you ask questions about cost. Which is huge. Highly recommended!
Spencer Phillips: They take great care of your furry critters!! The place is clean plus everyone is very nice.
Hayley L: Great vet clinic! Was looking forever to find a new vet that I didn’t have to wait months for an appt for a stray cat that needed to be seen asap.I was able to get in right away. The vet, techs and front staff were all so professional and friendly! So glad I found this clinic for my new fur baby!Really reasonable pricing as well.
Mhm mm mann: They will just try to make you buy there food. Tell me my 17 year old cats blood work is perfect and has no issues but I need to change her diet and buy their food. Can’t even go in for blood work. You have to pay $200 for them to sell you food before you get the $80 blood work.
Laura Forsyth: Excellent and compassionate care from both Dr. Boo, Dr. McDowell and the staff for our elderly cat who passed away last fall and for our current kitten- would highly recommend!
Jennifer Leigh: After initial consult it appears that when one asked to see the same doctor each time one is considered to be difficult. I met the owner when we were teenagers. And then I met him again in the mid-80s with his wife and children at church. So I don't profess to know him but had met him and had read good things about him and so felt fortunate to be able to come to that clinic. Unfortunately I never got to see Rob and I never had any issues with the vets. Only with support staff. Oh well. Always another vet hospital down the road
kristine Jones: Thank you to Dr. Claire Ashburner, her wonderful technician Jen,Dr. Boo and the entire staff for taking such good care of our boy Charlie and of us! We highly recommend having your pet treated at West King Edward Animal Clinic.😻
Leslie Hoolaeff: Amazing and attentive team here. We're very happy with the care provided
Zen Quartz: Very happy with this place. The main staff and the veterinarian are kind people, and I don't feel like I'm being talked down to or that the vet is holding back information.
Ichigo Ryu: The staff were very professional and kind, along with the vet (Dr. Makhan and Dr. Boo). I would highly recommend this vet clinic.
Neen Daley: This clinic got me in and out pretty fast while making arrangements shortly after my bunny died. They’ve been great
Julie Rudkowski: I am sooo happy with the service from this vet clinic. They went above and beyond and were always extremely helpful. HIGHLY recommend.
Marsha Andrews: So far, excellent! Dr. Alex Boo understands the value of alternative medicine, has knowledge about it and very supportive. Many vets (and Doctors!) are not! My little Yorkie-poo will be going in for dental surgery soon. I am very confident in Dr. Boo and his staff.

North Shore Veterinary Clinic: what do users think?
Shaun Wysiecki: The team at North Shore takes time to understand and help your pet. Our dogs Marlowe and Barney are healthy & happy pups thanks to the level of care provided. Thank you for the empathy, expertise, and passion you provide!
jfcote42: Extremely attentive to my and my cats needs!
markus keinhorst: Good experiences here, would recommend
Paul Chiarenza: The cat vet Tom was great! He was thoughtful and didn't spend the session selling me on things I didn't need.
Kristin Rummell: Terrible! I tried calling to make an appointment for my very sick elderly cat and they said that they wouldn't book him in.
Susie Pollock: Thank you so much to the team (especially Chelsey) for all their help with our pup, Fred. They were so kind and extremely helpful during a stressful time.
Basil Powers: Great vets and staff. Very friendly.
John Walsh: Very good service .
Derek Jay: I came here to pick up medication for my sister's pet. the staff here is very friendly, my sister speaks highly of this place. while I'm waiting looks like there's a lot of happy clients, and the staff appears to love all pets.
Aldo Molina: Awesome people
kawaii hatchiko: We love our vet clinic. Everyone here is so friendly and kind. Has empathy and is compassionate for their patients. Staff are knowledgeable and vets work well with each other when important messages are needed to be relayed to the patients pawrents.
rachel D: The vets and everyone who works here was beyond amazing when we had to say goodbye to our best friend of 17 years the other day. So compassionate and helpful through the whole process. I've been coming here with all my pets and this just solidifies that I will continue to support them, they truly care about you and your family members especially the furry ones.
Anca Trofin: Kind and caring staff! Always a good experience!!
Monika C: For several years I have come here with a prescription for feline injectable flea meds. This year they have decided they need to charge an exam fee for a simple injection for which I have a prescription. My pets are up to date with all medical shots and exams, which is why my regular vet is willing to write the prescription. Money grabbers, will never be coming here again.
O N: They are great
Dave Sallay: Great veterinary clinic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Through some good recommendations and guided checkups, we were able to save our adopted dog from some pretty bad ailments and now she’s happy, loved and care free. We live 45 minutes away, despite there being several closer vet clinics. Highly recommend.
Cory Masters: The team at this clinic are amazing. They genuinely seem to love their jobs and it shows in the care they give our animals. I always trust that they give honest advice without pushing unnecessary procedures, tests, etc. The only place I trust with my furry friends!
Sean Wiseman: Very friendly staff. The veteranarian was very helpful, and described everything with the right amount of detail and was open to questions. They were also very caring when it came to our cats.
Rob Whitzman: Always friendly caring and professional.
Kira Daly: They are amazing, very friendly, helpful, professional and great with my dog. The staff really do take care of your animal. During this pandemic, they have really been there for our pets and putting in long hours. My dog has the worst allergies you can imagine and is a Jindo mix so not as well known. It has been stressful for all of us but switching to North Shore Vet was the best move even though we live in Surrey..it is worth the travel for great care. They are knowledgeable and my dog has come so far in the short time she has been with them. Couldn't recommend them enough to everyone.
Nada Heuring: Cliff is the best. He got me in on a cancellation as I was just in town a short while. I really appreciated it. Thanks Cliff.

Granville Island Veterinary Hospital: what do users think?
Alison Bjornson: We had waited two years to get into this vet and it was worth the wait! We are trying to figure out a very complicated health situation with our dog and they have been so helpful and supportive.
Keegan Holmes: Such a relieve to know that Peaches is in the hands of Loving Professionals who have and will do right by her. Thank you!
Lindsay White: I think we all know that veterinary care can be expensive and unpredictable - we all want to do what's best for our pets, however you can't help but feel sometimes that there are unnecessary add on's, which increase the cost, particularly with senior pets. After having this experience, I decided to give GI Veterinary Hospital a try on a recommendation I received, and my experience was beyond my expectations. The Admin team are absolutely lovely and offered food samples prior to recommending me to make a large food purchase. We saw Dr. Alessandra Chek-Harder who in addition to being approachable, practical and friendly was also highly competent and was able to provide support and practical suggestions, BEFORE recommending costly tests. Dr. Chek-Harder did provide me with the information I needed for the purpose of the visit, as well as possible investments needed in the future, so there will be no surprises.I can't express how grateful I am to have now found a vet clinic in this very expensive city that works to build a long-term relationship with their client base. Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough!
Huck Baldwin: Very caring individuals here will take loving care of your fur babies. I feel very fortunate to take my cat here for very thorough care.
Jonathan Triana: Our dog has no complaints. Enough said.
Cameron Clare: Incredible staff
Chad Krolouski: We’ve been bringing our dog here since he was a pup. Always friendly and helpful. A little pricy but otherwise worth it.
Crystal Mount Tannehill: Staff is so friendly. Vet is so great. Very happy there.
DIANNE E: Sadly, I lost my 14 year old beloved Yorkshire/Silkie Terrier Cross Casey on October 23rd, from nasal cancer, 3 days shy of his 15th birthday. Casey was a rescue and we had 14 wonderful years together.I have been taking my pets to Granville Island Veterinary Hospital for close to 35 years. The level of compassion, empathy, kindness and care I have received from Dr. Cynthia Rose and Robbin over the loss of Casey has been beyond measure. The entire staff have been so caring and kind.Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Rick Brown: Compassionate and professional.
Tyler Smith: Great help and expertise, very friendly. Solved pups problem right away.
Emily Zufelt: Such a great team! So knowledgable, friendly and put care front and center of everything they do.
Kalinda Link: This is the BEST place to take your pet! They are kind, professional and caring. We take our rescue dog there and she is timid, but she doesn’t mind going here! I’d say she loves it but realistically she loves sleeping, playing and going to the beach. Vets can be scary places for pets but she is ok here. They are all so incredibly nice. I highly recommend!
Al Al: Yes 1 star. Never replied to my email and claimed I never sent an email to them before which I did and I sent a screenshot to them but they never replied.
Cora Eff: Great people, super friendly! However, beware tardiness - if you're late to your appointments by 10 mins, you may need to reschedule. That happened to me and I had to reschedule my cat's check-up.
Eric Jones: I cannot express how much I love the team here! They are always thoughtful and friendly and the countless small touches are always appreciated. Most importantly at the end of the day we trust their guidance and advise regarding the health of our cats and dog.Couldn’t not recommend more strongly!
Laura McDiarmid: Best vet and support staff in the lower mainland.
parth buch: The best doctors for you fur babies.
eva y: There’s the nicest team you could ever imagine.
Maria Honda: I like this place, and my dog was not afraid. The receptionists are friendly and pfofessional.Dr. Ignacio makes us both happy and at ease.I wish he were medical doctor.
Gianmarco Spiga: The staff at GIVH literally saved our girl's life twice this year, and got us through an extremely tough situation. You could not find a more competent and compassionate group of professionals to care for your furry friend! All procedures and costs are discussed in advance, and all the doctors take their time explaining their diagnosis and treatment plan. We are so glad we found GIVH!
