If you break a phone Patrick at downtown clinic is awesome. Rather than spend more money on the old phone to repair it, he suggested a refurbished phone, saving me a ton of money. He is honest, trustworthy, and fair. It's nice to have someone to rely on during the trauma of being without our phones or tablets.After five years, it's still a "5 star" review.

Sent it to DJI for a second opinion…they fixed it for $130 (with tax)The people are nice, but they are dishonest. Misrepresented my issue and tried to over charge me. I would caution anyone and everyone before going there.I appreciate the quick reply of the employees at Cell Clinic on this post. Perhaps its a front of staff training issue when they communicate the technicians diagnosis.

SynC C: your drivers are dangerous to other drivers' safety. Was driving towards Vancouver this morning @730am May 5/23 on Arthur Lang bridge. Your driver (young looking male bald headed/shaved head with glasses) in a REID BROTHERS company van was behind me & all of a sudden sped up & cut me off, almost clipping the right side of my vehicle. Its raining & slippery on the deck of the bridge. How irresponsible & obviously no regard for others safety. I would never call you for service.

The estimate was clear and detailed.The installation lasted 3 days, went exactly as planned and was fantastic. They communicated clearly and were easy to work with. The hot water came back on even sooner than promised. The installer answered all of my questions and shared a ton of useful information, and explained everything about the combination boiler / water heater.And the boiler room looks way better than before!I have the sense the the folks working on the house took pride in a job well done, and I appreciate that so much!I've used another major name in Vancouver for my old hot water heater, and it was not a good experience. Got super fed up with us and rather then showing us his credentials and fixing the problem, tried to upsell and new heating system to us. We got a second opinion and it only costed $250 plus tax. Shamim Brown: We found Reid Brothers to be professional, efficient, and very reliable. From the beginning of our three projects to the end, their team has been most thorough. I was contacted by Brian, their Project Manager, at the beginning of our projects. He stayed in touch and walked us through every step of the way from start to finish. He told us what to expect and when service would start and end. He also did follow-ups upon completion of the projects. Technicians, Richard and Sam came in to check on our gas furnace and hot water heater (the latter had a slow leak), and to check on our kitchen sink tap which needed replacement. They also connected our new fire pit to our existing gas line. Not only did they do a thorough job of all three, but they went the extra mile - while Richard worked on checking the furnace and hot water tank, Sam finished setting up the partially completed fire pit for us. Both were extremely professional, courteous and congenial. Technicians, Tom and Matt came in to install the tankless water heater which we opted to have put in. They too were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, very thorough, and completed the project in a timely and efficient manner. TC: REID BROS. came to our home on many occasions. However, their negligence on the last visit caused major damages. Initially the owner at Reid told us that the co. would be accountable and we finally got paid by our insurance company months after the event but they only paid out 1/3 of the repair. When our insurance co. proceeded to recover damages from REID BROS., they denied they were even at our home as they never sent an invoice for the repairs and now our insurance co. is asking for the coverage to be repaid back to them in part.....UPDATE ....we the owners found video from RING that REID BROS were at our home and now they will have to pay for Damages ....but buyer beware regardless...!!!Service:Toilet repair

K McMartin: Living in Ontario, we mistakenly paid a plumbing bill electronically in February 2021 to Reid plumbing in Vancouver instead of in Ontario. These are two separate companies in different provinces that happen to have similar names. We contacted this company in Vancouver to explain our mistake and to ask for our money back. Reid Brothers in Vancouver said they would send our money back but we received nothing. Subsequently, our bank lodged an investigation in April 2021. Why did Reid Brothers in Vancouver accept and keep money that was mistakenly sent to them (and not owed to them)? In April, via telephone AND VOICEMAIL, Reid Brothers promised to return the money not owed them. Now, in mid May, still crickets.....
DeeDee Nelson: I want to thank Reid Brothers once again for being there when I have needed them. I have been calling them for five years, as everyone in our apartment building also does. They are always professional on the phone and in person. When I had my most recent plumbing issue they showed up quickly and efficiently, on time, and did a beautiful job. Very reasonable fees as well. This is wonderful customer service and care and I will definitely be calling the team the next time I need any plumbing or heating systems work done. Angela: Poor customer service from Simi, she helped us with our transaction and tried to sell us $50 for 2 years warranty. Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt.We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".

But Instead of being honest and introduce everything, she added them to the bill without our consent when we ready to pay.We didn’t figure out the calculations right away and already took out our credit card. We know there’s tax on the $2200 TV so few more hundred dollars on top seemed making sense.After we really looked at the computer screen, we found out S added all costs to us and how unethical she tried to do the business.It’s is Best Buy, you don’t do business like this. Each staff represents the Company.Be honest to sell!She was angry and left the counter right after we caught her trick.Of course we didn’t get the TV and also wasted an hour of our time.FYI, my wife was the Operation Manager.

I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Today, Prab being helpful did an awesome job finding not only the stylus pen but also the power cable included with the box. Xyz Abc: Mandy is FANTASTIC. I came in to return an online order. For some reason their system showed one of the products had already been returned----I am guessing it had something to do with the price adjustment I got via a Best Buy live chat agent a few days prior. Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.
Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

Customer service was excellent, reprinted my receipt for me and helped me quickly exchange the TV for a different one. The team leader was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing job!!

I don't know what was the reason maybe they were all racist. and saddest part was that even the manager "Teri" didn't give a s**t about our problem.

The unlocked Google 6a phone with no contract has $150 discount posted on their website for several days already and the associate kept insistingit's not on sale and was tryingto persuade me to sign a contract to get the discount. Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.
Hossein ShirMohamadi: Before shopping from Best buy, I contacted an agent to learn more about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series printer online. They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.

Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

The person that picked up was very nice and helpful, and said that's something they should be able to do no problem but wanted to check with the customer services rep. It was quite urgent because I discover leak around water tank and I was leaving the next day. Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

Mazen Elchami: In February of this year, we paid a deposit so our leaky roof. We were told that the roof will be replaced in June. When we emailed them in July, we were told that the person who dealt with our file took another job and the file fell through the cracks. We were told that our roof will be replaced in August. When we emailed them about having a specific date, they never responded to our emails. In late August, we were told that because of the hot weather, they were falling behind. Then we were told in September that the head of the crew injured his knee, which means another delay. Then we were told that our roof is complicated (it is not), and it requires a speciality crew. Hence, another delay. At this point, we had been waiting for seven months without even been given a specific date. When we finally pulled the plug, someone with a high rank to apologise and give me more excuses without taking any responsibility about what happened. He also told me that they could start on October 10, give or take. Given how we were treated, we passed. Rob Davis: Penfolds completed our re-roofing a number of years ago, and following some challenging original house design flaws, designed a secondary flat roof drain system that works 100%. The replacement roof is now 14 years old and looks good.We recently experienced a minor roof leak, associated with PVC furnace vents, which was a challenge to locate and fix, but Penfolds was up to the task and we are now dry again. Specifically Ron Frisk was a plesure to deal with on BOTH the original re-roof and this recent repair. Karen T: Penfolds replaced the roofs of our 63 townhouse complex in 2008. This was after extensive research and interviews with other stratas who had already replaced their roofs in our area, Penfold's won our confidence and the job. They were so great to work with and their team was courteous and professional in every way. They've stood behind their products and workmanship. We've only had one issue pop up with a faulty vent cap and Tumi and Ron in the office were quick to send a team at no charge. Their technicians Ian and Phil went above and beyond fixing the little problem and making sure the rest of the roof was issue free.I recommend Penfolds and these 4 individuals for maintaining integrity in their company's promise to stand by their work.As a follow up a year later they are still standing by their word and no hassle fix to replace any reoccurring issue with this vent cap product.
Antonio Cayonne: This company takes ZERO accountability for their negligence.They left the fence to my back alley wide open and, as a result, my bike was stolen while they have 4 workers on the job site, in broad daylight.Insult to injury. Michael Isaacs: Value, Integrity, Professionalism.These are words that I thought I would never think of when it came to this industry, and yet here I am writing them due to the wonderful experience, thatI had with the Penfolds family.I had become weary of trying to find a contractor that could assist me with my home roofing project.I had interviewed a number of roofing contractors prior to contacting Penfolds, and had become very uncomfortable with the vagueness of their approach, over pricing and lack of knowledge towards my general questions.With Penfolds, they had redefined what every homeowner wants to experience with a roofing company .This company exhibited true value in the quality and competitive pricing in the variety of their product line.Not only is their workmanship and products  guaranteed with a transferable warranty if my home was sold, but they stand behind each home project with integrity.The company is well organized and had displayed professionalism at every level of the process I went through from initial interview, product review, quote, contract review, signing, pre inspection, starting my roof job, daily clean up, daily field supervisor inspection, final job review and closure.I had initially contacted their company online and was contacted within a few days by Chris McCready, Technical Advisor.He met with me promptly at my home, went over all of my roofing concerns and took the time to photograph and to document my home in detail.Chris was able to study my project and to recommend  product options that suited my needs, for the specific area of the city that I live in of Coquitlam.What I found absolutely stunning about this company is the depth of what they can do for problem areas of my roof.  I had explained to Chris that I had an overhang that was too short in the face of my home, and 3 other areas thathad water overflow problems which damaged my sub fascia and face fascia.Chris has an intimate knowledge of roofing designs and explained to me their ability to correct problem areas of my roof as they have a professional carpenter team that works on site.No other company that I had interviewed had this kind of depth and was willing to address any of  these roofing issues or to offer me options.Others were willing to let the problems continue as long as they got the roofing contract.The workmanship that I personally observed the carpenter(Thomas Klattenhoff),  perform on my house was beyond breathtaking and best of all affordable.There are no words to describe the value, safety and peace of mind that has now been awarded to me.It took over a week to complete my roof and I had the pleasure of meeting and observing my team of 3 roofers go through their daily ritual of clearing the old tiles off my roof, preparing the roof  and installing my Twin Ultra Rubberized Asphalt shingles.The crew was respectful to me, my home and showed great care in completing my roof project. (Ricky, Ryan, Joseph)They were very well experienced with this  type of roof conversion from concrete tiles to asphalt shingles and coordinated the project daily with their field supervisor(Brian Sangster) and on site carpenter.From start to finish they were on time and on budget.  They acted as a team and pulled together.Once the project was completed, Chris McCready, Technical Advisor and Brian Sangster, Field Supervisor, each took time to follow up with me on my project.They reviewed the roof in detail before final closure of the project.With Penfolds you are not just getting a roof, you are getting  true value,  overwhelming integrity and professional staff working on your roof project.Given that this is one of the most important home projects that I had to address, I am happy that I selected a company that had depth of knowledge, experienced staff and a family that stands by their name and workmanship.Thanks………..Michael
T Leung: Had Penfolds install a steel seamed roof 7 years ago and then solar panels 4 years ago. Roof was installed on time, and on schedule. Solar panels took a while but definitely worth the wait. Both times the staff was very professional and kept me in the loop every step of the way.They also did an excellent job sizing my panels for my house. With a slight change to my habits, I have not paid the electric bill in the last 2 years.I would definitely install the panels and steel seamed roof again, if I had to do it again. Richard Parsons: I have never written a review before but I have to take my hat off to Penfolds Roofing. They put a new roof on our home. Our home is a 3500 SF rancher. We bought it knowing there were issues with the roof and learned last winter it was worse than we anticipated. Parts of the roof are metal and parts are flat. There is an interior drainage system under the roof and lots of skylights. It was an extremely complicated roof to re-roof I am told and I believe it. There were crews of Penfolds guys here for 3 weeks doing the job in the height of their busy season. I was extremely impressed with Penfolds and in particular Jason Pistawka. I frankly think they may have under quoted the job given the unique nature of the roof and the complexity of it. They didn't complain. They stood by the deal and did an excellent job. They even added some improvements to the job for material costs only to avoid ponding on some areas of the flat roof. It looks fantastic and we feel great we can rest assured there will be no more leaks this winter over our kids' rooms. I was really concerned the mildew might form. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering a new roof and Jason Pistawka in particular. Jason organized all the crews, and skylight removal/install people. Paul Barbiero: Being in the sales profession for over 25 years has afforded me the luxury of readily assessing people when meeting them in person. When I first met Jason, it was obvious that his integrity was only superseded by his customer centricity and fun demeanour. I had read up on and heard first hand from my neighbours what a great organization Penfolds is and Jason simply reinforced that with his awesome service, follow up and follow through. Their quality of workmanship is without question top shelf and their pricing fair. Great crew, great admin staff (Victoria is awesome) and great overall experience!
Fenimore Cassidy: We had a raccoon damage our roof one evening. I called Penfolds the next morning and staff were extremely helpful and accommodating as it was forecast to rain that day. They fit in the work the same day, arrived promptly, repaired the damage and cleaned up. It doesn't even look like there was ever any damage. We used Penfolds 10 years ago to replace our roof and the quality of work and service has not changed in those 10 years.

Harry Boessenkool: Penfolds helped us out in a small problem 6 years ago. Others had failed. When we needed a new roof in January this year we received a personal visit from their rep who took us through all the details (cost, timing materials).The crew showed up on the first dry spell in February and had the whole project completed in 6 working days including our shed. One of their workers came on a Saturday and did a fantastic and creative job on that as well. We are very pleased also with the way the payments were handled. I would score 9 out of ten!
Don Livingston: I can't say enough about how helpful the Penfolds staff have been! We recently discovered an access point for critters on our roof, and a call to Tumi in the repairs service centre quickly got us help. Within days she had arranged a service call, and Phil and his partner did a wonderful job solving our problem. Phil showed us the close-up pictures of the damaged section, explained how he would customize a repair, and got it done. He also identified a couple of other minor roof issues and had those repaired as well. And all of this under warranty, 9 years after the original installation! Thanks Penfolds!
