Liam HJ
Liam HJ: One of a kind tea shop. Tea Omakase is an awesome experience.
Jessica C-M
Jessica C-M: I took my tea-loving sister to Cultivate for a tea tasting on her birthday. We have been to a number of other tea shops, but this one really knocked our socks off! The exposure to pleasantly shocking flavours, great stories, and enriching history made this experience the opposite of a regret. The space has a great atmosphere with wonderfully abundant plants. Nestled in Mount Pleasant, it's a gem to add to your list.
Yu Su
Yu Su: best tea shop in town hands down… go here for a tasting and you’ll know.
Mackie
Mackie: Best place in Vancouver for traditional Chinese tea!
Rosie Jeon
Rosie Jeon: I initially went in search of the quality gift sets I found on their online site and walked away with a great experience.Very serene interior, great curated tea selection and custom ceramic pieces on display.Owner is reserved, yet personable and knowledgeable as well.FYI They have limited seating that is catered towards a more intimate tea service offered (nice date idea for sure).
N Kessler
N Kessler: Really good Chinese tea. You can have drink there or buy the tea to take home. This is a boutique type of experience.
Justine Woo
Justine Woo: Amazing customer service!! I purchased a packet of matcha from them and when I got home, I noticed it wasn’t sealed properly. I contacted them and Jude replied and said that he would drop off a new one at my house. I’m really impressed by this high level of customer service! It was my first time purchasing from them and it definitely won’t be my last. The matcha is super good too!
Andrea T
Andrea T: Beautiful space and a well curated selection of teas and teaware. It’s always a pleasure to visit to get refills of their matcha powder.

Balraj Sidhu
Balraj Sidhu: Best place for tea in the lower mainland
Shonnah
Shonnah: Tea Tasting at Cultivate Tea - yes, I didn’t know that was a thing either! 😎This was such an enjoyable experience, being the tea lover I am . We tried a variety of teas: jasmine, white, oolong, and pu erh. I was impressed by how each tea had such a distinct flavour, having a variety of notes that were earthy, floral or fruity.Although I’m no connoisseur, I’d say they have good tea and take it very seriously 🍵 . The ambiance is nice and gave me tea house vibes too, which was a great touch. They also sell homemade cookies to go with the tea if you’d like. This is a must-try for tea lovers (more so Chinese tea), but it’s at a premium with each flight (3 teas) being at least $20. You think it’s worth it? Why not find out! 😉
Gillbert Wong
Gillbert Wong: have been coming to this place for a few times. All my friends who I invited with also likes this place so much. People who works here is very friendly and informative.I learned a lot from them about that tea I was drinking. To be honest ,there’s not much places left in lower mainland that you can social with random individuals whom is also interested about tea and other things without getting drunk in the first place. LoL
Justine Denomme
Justine Denomme: I was very disappointed in the Kombucha kit. It came with no instructions and despite finding instructions on the internet, the kombucha never fermented.

O5 Tea + Kombucha: what do users think?
Emily Pearson
Emily Pearson: This place is really lovely, the bar is an amazing space to share some tea over conversation. The staff are incredibly passionate about tea, and the passion is contagious. Will be making regular stops into this gem now
Alexandra Marvar
Alexandra Marvar: Lovely space; friendly, knowledgeable staff! Tried two tea kombuchas, a (very) traditional matcha (intense), and a Korean oolong. They grind the match themselves (not on this 350-year-old grinder pictured, but they have one handy because why not). As I understand, the owner is an ad man who did a lot of business in Beijing and at some point became so obsessed with tea he opened this little haven, a stroll from Kitsilano Beach. Reommend.
Brian T.
Brian T.: I’ve been here a few times. O5 has good solid teas, but in my honest opinion, nothing mindblowing. The price point is a bit high too. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the store itself is beautiful. I would come back when I visit town when I want to have a fix of good oolong, but I do wish that I get to control my own pot to brew instead of having the staff brew the tea for me. The whole pleasure of tea drinking/gong fu cha is touching the pots, brewing the tea and, smelling the lid.
shohreh kehtari
shohreh kehtari: This place is worth to try specially if you are TEA person!
Nick Gray
Nick Gray: I love this tea house! Friendly staff, great tea selection, kombucha on tap, and a cool bar to sit at. I ordered an oolong tea and my friend had the kombucha sampler.
Lillian Fu
Lillian Fu: I love this place! Their tea is exceptional, not to mention the cozy atmosphere. My whole family loves it and my mom says they have some of the best longjing tea she's ever had. It's also a great place to go if you want sit and try different kinds of tea, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.
Ally T
Ally T: Absolutely wonderful experience here -- so glad my husband and I stopped in on a whim. The atmosphere is tranquil and seems to transport you to another time and place. The teas were excellent, and the staff were so friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. I'm trying to learn more about tea and they took the time to answer all my questions and suggest new teas to try. Will definitely be back!
Valerie Russell
Valerie Russell: Delicious tea!
Sherry Hsu
Sherry Hsu: The most wonderful tea specialists crafting a pot of tea with love. Welcoming vibe, and can be a social or quiet experience depending on the time of the day. One of my favorite spots in Vancouver . ❤

Staff are very knowledgeable on how to specifically brew each tea, the origins and flavour profiles of each tea. Staff were very nice and each has their own cool story.Tried their kombucha as well which was amazing.Highly recommend going for a tasting.

Cody Soukeroff
Cody Soukeroff: This place is just so damn lovely
Sean Kelly
Sean Kelly: The real deal when it comes to matcha! We had heard great things and O5 did not disappoint. The staff were serious matcha masters and we got an education on the nuances of flavours and origins of different types of ceremonial matcha. My wife and I tried the Gen Ryu, then the Konomi Usucha and finally the acclaimed Asahi by Tsuji "worth more than silver" drunk by Japan's Emperor and Prime Minister. The visit was totally worth it and absolutely delicious.
Camila Swinyard Lara
Camila Swinyard Lara: Such a gem of a place to buy good quality loose leaf tea. We found this place by chance and stopped by for a lateish night tea on a Friday night, we were served by the owner who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and overall pleasant to speak with. It is obvious that he is passionate about his business and over all has a great attitude. If you are looking for a "different" experience this is a good place to stop by for amazing quality tea (decaf options available). They also sell cool pottery and neat tea pots and other things!

The Chinese Tea Shop: what do users think?
CAI GAN XIAN Lucas
CAI GAN XIAN Lucas: I really like the place. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable about tea. Donc expect to find cheap tea there, most of the teas are fancy and aged. Which make them very tasty but quite expensive.
Shelley T.
Shelley T.: I can’t overstate how surprised I was to find a gem like this in Chinatown. I came in looking to find some tea for my dad — however, I was both overwhelmed by the varieties and unsure of what my dad would like. When I called my dad on the phone to ask, I struggled to understand the specific name of the tea my dad was referring to in Cantonese. Daniel (the owner) understood immediately and helped me find my dad’s specific favorite tea.Beyond helping with that, Daniel also gave me and my friends a very detailed explanation of the different varieties offered at the store and some suggestions of what we might like, along with some recommendations of sites to visit since we were touring Vancouver. I’ll definitely make time to come back here during my next visit to the city!
Lika Pika
Lika Pika: Always good quality of tea and great service 🍵
Ethan G
Ethan G: Daniel was extremely helpful when it came to finding a tea pot within my price range. A great selection of puerh and oolong as well as tea pots and accessories. I can't recommend The Chinese Tea Shop highly enough and look forward to coming back!

I contacted the shop and their response positively suprised me. They added my country to the option. Later they refunded part of the shipping because it was cheaper to ship to my country then expected. The package was safely wrapped.I love the new YiXing. The quality and photos are as presented on the shop. One of my best experience shopping online. Thanks!

We were welcomed into his shop and treated to a wonderful tea tasting as an introduction and practical means of answering our questions about the various teas, brewing techniques and serving/tasting. They also have a few samples that you can smell, which I thought was nice. They had sample stations out, but the employee didn't put out any samples all day (we stopped by in the morning and afternoon on a weekend).
N C
N C: Murchie's teas are high quality, and the employees are helpful, advising on flavours and quality and letting you smell the teas. Their green-oolong-black blends are unique, especially No. 22 with just the lightest touch of bergamot.

Meow Kat: Got there at 2:50pm, sign on door says they’ll be back at 3:15pm. Ok, went for a coffee and came back at 3:17. New sign says they’ll be back at 3:30pm. Makes it a bit difficult to give the company money if they don’t want it. Sorry.
Laara Yardley

Sharon Kim
Sharon Kim: They reached out to me right away! They were very understanding and helpful.EDIT: I initially had a great experience as the workers had so much knowledge on the varieities of tea and tea sets they had. I had my eye set on a travel tea set, which wasn't cheap. I checked out with the item and noticed that on the first day of use, there was a chip. It was extremely disappointing as I not only spent a lot of money for something of good quality, but I was under the impression that if I took good care of it it would last a longer time than 1 use. I have reached out to them to see what their response will be. However, as of now, I can only give them a 1 star for the poor quality of the set.

George Shrinks
George Shrinks: Chai is so fire
Jenny Zhu
Jenny Zhu: I went on a typical busy weekend and wanted to check out this place after a friend brought me some of their teas. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and pricing. I got two 100 gram bags of Jasmine Lychee and Chai, which lasted me 5 months. The person helping me at the loose leaf counter really made my experience; she was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about her work.
Peter Farejowicz
Peter Farejowicz: The selection of different teas at this place is something to see. The Granville Island Tea shop is tucked away in the back corner of the market so make sure you don’t skip it.For loose leaf tea you can purchase in the back, but they also have a lot of single serve options at the front register. I tried the iced black tea they have on hand and it was good though if I went again I’d try ordering a custom selection off their menu.
Kg10 G
Kg10 G: We have visited Granville Island a few times already but this is our first time buying a drink at this Tea store,We do not know which tea we should have. So we asked the person in charge during our visit which one would he recommend. We ended up getting the Masala Chai Tea (which was so good). He was pleasant and helpful. 10/10 experience.
Leila Khalilavi

Narmatha A
Narmatha A: I came to buy chai tea as a gift and their service was impeccable. The only place I would recommend for all your tea needs!

The service was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, even asking me to sample my latte for any changes before pouring it - and the chair latte itself was like nothing I've ever had. 100% the best chai latte ever. The long waits are worth it! Hope to come back soon

Nathan Kim
Nathan Kim: A great visit! I've been here a few times but was helped by someone today who was very knowledgeable about their teas and mixed us a new green tea and rose petal blend based on our preferences. We were especially impressed since they told us they've only been working here a month. We bought several other 50g teas to try out for the first time per his recommendations. Thanks and we'll be back again!

Richard Dodge: Ordered online for a Christmas gift, lovely tea. A month later had a slight issue with one of their teas, the owner emailed me back within minutes late night on a Saturday. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We'll done Mark you obviously know customer service, my hats off to granville island tea we will see you again this summer.👏
Kellie G
Kellie G: I am in love with Granville Island Tea Company! I am a first time shopper, and will definitely be back. I purchased an order online, and was delighted with my purchase. The order arrived promptly, and were packaged great. You can tell these guys really care. As a super amazing touch, the tea pouches were vacuum sealed. So everything was super fresh. The teas were exactly as described and taste incredible. Very high quality teas.If you're looking to purchase incredible loose leaf teas, I totally recommend.
Frances M
Frances M: Great tea blends! Used their teas as my wedding favour, everyone loves it! Staff are really nice and friendly
Cecilia Mok
Cecilia Mok: If you're a tea lover or have tea lovers in your life, you must visit the Granville Island Tea Company! They've been here for decades and know their stuff. Every time I'm in town, I must come to pick up a few new teas for my family and myself! This time, I got a few 50g bags as gifts to different people back home. Staff were as friendly and helpful as always! They, of course, have a bar where you can order fresh drinks to go.
Amber Cheng
Amber Cheng: Granville island blend tasted great!I can taste the flavor of rooibos and it smelled really nice 👍🏻 but I'm not what inside of the blend lolSo glad I ordered a cup of warm tea on a freezing winter day
Alex B
Alex B: First time to buy here and tea seems to be great. Priced well and very good service too. Will definitely be back again and happy to recommend.
Archer Fung
Archer Fung: Not bad.
Vikram Cyca
Vikram Cyca: There are two "fronts" to the store: one for loose leaf tea and the other for chilled drinks. The wait for the loose-leaf teas can get long even if the line is short, as each customer tends to take a bit. The wait, though, is always worth it. They have excellent teas on selection which cater to every palate. Their "to-go" chilled drinks front is good as well.
Anne Jo
Anne Jo: They have the best Chai and their Creamy Early Grey is so good.

Sarina Trc: Friendly and efficient service. The place itself is nicely decorated. I loved their mumbai chai and my mom liked their chocolate macroon tea. I got the dairy+gluten free set and the food was ok - I think their sandwiches could be tastier as a few were bland. Their bathroom could be cleaner.

Joy Elyse
Joy Elyse: My husband made us a reservation here to celebrate my birthday. We arrived for our reservation and were told that our assigned table was on the patio (on the street where there had previously been a parking spot). We were not expecting or prepared to sit in the sun, and we just barely managed an arrangement to keep my infant son under the shade of an umbrella. When we booked our reservation, there was no spot to indicate a preference for indoor or outdoor seating. And we noted that our 3rd guest was an infant. I could not believe they booked us on the patio, in the sun, with traffic loudly passing by just a few feet from us. FYI there were non-sunny patio spots on the sidewalk but they were “reserved.”Was really looking forward to the full experience of afternoon tea, and I felt that sitting at a dirty table on the street was not the experience I signed up for. There is a time and place for patio dining, but this was not it! I’m sure I came across rude and entitled to the staff, but I was just in disbelief at how terrible it all was.
The Shady Brunch
The Shady Brunch: Experience overall was good. I have celiac and they do have gluten free menus even if they weren’t as tasty as the traditional menu smelled. Mimosas were delicious. Be aware that your time is only 90mins and they will start nudging you out if you don’t start moving. The Service we had was good.
Brooke Lebihan
Brooke Lebihan: Gorgeous vibe and great service! I attended the Spring high tea with a friend and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The variety of tea options was the best that I've found at a high tea restaurant before. Would recommend the BUMBLEBERRY OKAPI' for anyone a fan of deep berry flavours!
Enjinia Solutions
Enjinia Solutions: We have come here multiple times and we have also bought teas every time we have visited. We are already aware of the limited set time that is allocated to each table. We felt extremely rushed this time with the staff hovering around us. They constantly kept looking at our table. They surrounded the table even before our allotted time was up. I was wearing my jacket with still some time left but they were already taking things away and spraying the table with sanitizer etc. It was a birthday celebration but this service left me feeling unwanted and uninvited at that moment. My feedback would be this - if you have given the customers 1.5 hours, that is totally fine, and we are aware of it too, until we overstay, let us enjoy our 1.5 hours, please do not rush us when there is still 30 min or 20 min left to get the tables ready for the next group. It causes anxiety and it should not be the case, we are here to enjoy and experience something nice and create good memories. Instead set the booking slots such that after each party has left and has enjoyed their 1.5 hours, you have 10-15 min to clean and set the table (which is not taken away from the previous customer's time) for the next customer. This will be great, we still love the place, but please don't rush us when we still have time left, it feels very hostile and unwelcomed. Thank you and we look forward to visiting again!

al may: I've been to Neverland three times over the years, and it remains my favourite place for Afternoon Tea. The food remains consistently delicious and creative, the service is great and the teas are lovely. I was there yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The last time I went was before the pandemic. I did notice that their scones seems a bit smaller than they were last time I was there. We still had a great time. I would love to go back again to try their other themed menus, like the Coronation Menu next month.
Emily S
Emily S: Such a fun experience! I've been on two occasions with different friends, and I can't wait to go back as the menu changes seasonally! Can't recommend the Almond Joy tea enoughVegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options, and the staff was happy to make substitutions for dietary restrictions.Wheelchair accessibility: Some of the tables are pretty close together, but the staff seem to rearrange the tables somewhat frequently, so I'm sure they can accommodate for a wheelchair, especially if you call ahead and let them know.
Eunice Marie Lazarro
Eunice Marie Lazarro: My best friend & I celebrated our birthday here at Neverland Tea! We both had a wonderful experience, the service & ambiance was lovely, not busy on a Tuesday morning and we both received our own birthday treat! They have a variety of treats, traditional & gluten & dairy free. We tried a few of the bottomless teas and we enjoyed the "Tiger Lily Jasmine Tea" & their classic Earl Grey Tea.Definitely coming back here☺️

Brian M. Demkowicz
Brian M. Demkowicz: First visit. Whimsical atmosphere with friendly server who appeared to enjoy working there. Huge selection of teas, but really would have been nice if they had some decaf options that weren't over-the-top fruit or spice-based. For the price, there's no reason they could at least offer a decaf black or green tea to their line-uo. I get that you can't have decaf versions of the more exotic selections. Finger sandwiches and pastries were good, but a few of the items didn't seem as fresh as the others. Scones were wickedly delicious. I went as part of a small birthday gathering, and someone else paid so I don't have a lot of room to complain about anything. If I happen to find myself there again though, I think I'd limit myself to a scone and tea... or a full-size Thai red curry egg salad sandwich, which was delicious and left me wanting more.Dietary restrictions: Traditional, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options were available.
Stephanie
Stephanie: I came here because of the good reviews but was severely underwhelmed. We booked a table for the Alice in Wonderland event. The food was alright and the tea selection was broad for sure, but the ambiance of the place is like a shotty cafeteria. The only thing they really did for the Alice in Wonderland theme was tape blown up playing cards on the wall (lol) and some of the desserts had themed decor. It was so crowded despite needing reservations that the table next to us was basically sitting with us. I guess if you just care about the tea or food then it’s ok, but for the price we paid I was really expecting a better atmosphere, service, decor….but everything was so lacklustre. We also felt very rushed as the server reminded us at least 4 times that there’s a time limit to stay, at 15 minute intervals after our first half hour. Really disappointing experience, save your money.
Julia
Julia: We know this place is meant for special occasions but it was so good the first time we ended up going 3 weeks in a row! As someone who has to eat vegan and gluten free (for allergies) this place has made me feel so included. They have an option literally called "Vegan and Gluten Free" - and it's so good that even my friends that don't have the same allergies as me love it. The quality and complexity of each piece is wonderfully thought out and the tea selection is amazing. On top of that, the service is always wonderful, elegant, and professional. We're really trying to wait until their Spring menu before we go back again, but trust me when I say it's hard not to want to go here all the time!Vegetarian options: VeganKid-friendliness: Saw lots of kids here, but they were all dressed very sweet and were very respectfulDietary restrictions: Gluten Free, Vegan
Rhea D
Rhea D: I have to be honest, I was beyond disappointed with my experience here. My friend made a booking for my birthday and although our main server was pleasant enough, there was another one who was shockingly rude, impatient and clearly didn’t want to be there. The brunette with the long dark hair was grumpy and begrudgingly dumped our tray off without a smile and with a lot of attitude. She was impatient with basic questions , both of us were polite so there was no reason to have such a strange attitude towards us. When we asked for a spoon since the weird little honey pot that they had was entirely inadequate to actually add honey to your tea she —no exaggeration—came back and literally tossed a large spoon on our table. We didn’t even have our tea trays explained to us. I’m not used to this kind of service at an afternoon tea seating. The food wasn’t good either, it’s cute looking (likely for Instagram) but the flavours and ingredients were nothing I’d bother having again —very overpriced for what felt like small portions of grocery store deli food.I couldn’t eat half the sweets, the scone and devon cream was also disappointing . Overall the afternoon tea was incredibly imbalanced, there was way too many high-sugar bland sweets (as mentioned, most of which were kind of inedible) and not enough savory offerings.Further disappointing was that the tea itself was very poor quality and most weren’t brewed correctly. (I used to work in the tea industry). We tried 6 flavours and sadly all if them were either weak, cold or unpalatable. One reminded me if cold seaweed broth. Different types of teas call for different brewing times/temps of which this salon clearly doesn’t care—the absolute irony. Overall, both the flavours ,and the tea selection were unremarkable.I also didn’t enjoy the scheduled seating approach. That say you have 90 minutes but rush you out much earlier than that to set up for the next seating. (Easily corrected for with some staggered seating times). You get reminded that you’re going to leave repeatedly starting 30 minutes in advance, and 10 minutes later they try to take everything off your table and hustle you to pay at least 15 minutes before the 90 minutes are up.The music was also disruptive to the ambience (strange kind of John Mayer-esque pop music)All in all, with the grumpy attitude from the one server and the rushing everyone out before the seating is done both of us felt very much like our presence was an inconvenience at this salon. There are much better options in the city. I’m definitely going to return to have high tea at other salons in the future. We have absolutely no desire to come back here unfortunately. It was an incredibly disappointing birthday experience for me.

Silk Road Tea: what do users think?
Brad M
Brad M: My favorite!!!!
J S
J S: I really only buy tea from here, have been doing so for years. Love that it’s locally founded and all organic. Because it’s organic, I was told the lapsang souchong doesn’t leave an acrid back of tongue taste like other brands do. One thing I think would add a lot would be improving the overall in-store experience, ie. if they had staff that were as passionate about, and loved to share info, stories, taste tests, as much as staff at other local tea stores do, rather than just an in-and-out purchasing experience. Would be nice if the smellable samples were self-serve too instead of hidden behind the counter. Because of this, I feel like I don’t fully know their whole line of teas and just keep buying my favourite three types. They were closed at one point near end of day when their Google hours said they were open, so they kindly gave me a little discount for the inconvenience. Thank you for that and for the superb tea! ☺️

Lillian Nguyen: Our go-to tea store. Friendly service and great selection of tea.
Sachi Lovatt
Sachi Lovatt: UPDATE: The store gave me a generous discount and gift in apology for my inconvenience, and I was really satisfied with this. They really made the effort and I appreciate it.I'm sure this store is lovely, but have to let the public know not to trust the website nor the storefront sign in terms of hours open. I went to the store during business hours, and checked the website before I left to make sure it was open. The site said it was open. When I got there, the sign on the door said it was closed due to weather, but to check the website for up to date hours. Pictures attached for reference. One hand isn't speaking to the other :(
Peter D
Peter D: The best tea in town! Try the smoky lapsang souchong or the earthy pu'ehr. The staff are nice and helpful. I miss the days when they would give you tasters and let you open the tins and smell the teas, but now they're being very safe (Covid). A bit pricy but you get what you pay for.

taraneh lajevardi
taraneh lajevardi: UNBLIVBLY unfriendly and actually customer deterring staff.. They used to be excellent few years ago.. I even had one of their "tea parties" and spent a fortune over the years buying teas for myself and as gifts...However, a few times over the past year I had a really bad experience with their unwelcoming and rude staff so I decided to not shop there as much.. Luckily, I have found much much better substitutes for my favorite herbal teas. Today, I was kinda craving London Fog so I decided to go there. Honestly, the staff were so unwelcoming that I felt more like an intruder than a customer!!! so, I decided to walk out and didn't buy...I am sure I will find a better substitute for that one too.... Do they intentionally hire the most unfriendly sales people in town???? I only wonder...
Lisa P
Lisa P: Did my shopping online. Was a little concerned about how long delivery would take. I ordered on a Friday morning, got a email Friday afternoon with a confirmation of shipment. Received my order on Sunday.🙂
Unaiza Nasim
Unaiza Nasim: UPDATE : They will ask you how their staff did, when you tell them (which wasn’t even the main problem) you get a no sorry email telling you how well they train their staff 😊Do not fall in the trap of wasting more time emailing back m forth. You won’t be compensated!! (Which wasn’t even what I was looking for but the reply to this review) utter disappointment!Edit: emailed the receipt on the address provided and will update the response. Price was checked on the website and it is what I was charged for the same amount of tea, just that mine was in a brown paper bag. I’ve emailed the i store experience as well which wasn’t very pleasant but don’t really care about it if I had gotten the product right. We drove all the way to buy tea. Paid for the largest size and asked the lady to put it in resealable bags. She said they only had tins and I asked her to charge me for it and give it in the tin. I was charged for tin but got it in a paper bag which got all wet in the rain outside.Utterly disappointed in the customer service. $54 down the lane
Adam Harrison
Adam Harrison: I bought a tea infuser as a stocking stuffer gift for my wife and it fell apart shortly into the New Year. I'd meant to go see about getting it replaced but forgot about it for awhile and then in April finally got around to checking about it. I no longer had the receipt but the store manager still provided me with a replacement and was super friendly through the whole exchange. Excellent customer service, thank you!
Jason Desroches
Jason Desroches: New discovery, a barista recommended it for some allergy relief. Some things are a tad pricey but you can tell that the quality is there. The young lady that assisted me was patient and friendly 👌. I will certainly be back - new gift spot.
Athikom Vorapattanapong
Athikom Vorapattanapong: Amazing staff. Very patient, nice, and knowledgeable. Large selection of tea that will probably suit your needs. Again, knowledgeable staff if you got questions just ask.
adam finch
adam finch: The teas are nice but it bugs me that they call the large tin a “300 cup” tin. That’s true if you use the recommended amount of 1 tsp for two cups. That would be so weak you may as well just have hot water. It gets more like 50-70 cups. you’re looking at $1 per cup for the higher priced teas.
Jacob Pej
Jacob Pej: Phenomenal Earl Grey! Premium teas and knowledgeable service
Angela Wong
Angela Wong: I went in looking for a matcha whisk and a set of tea tongs, I found both but only bought the tongs. The matcha whisk they had in display had a broken pack of silica, so I asked the girl working if I could get a new one. She ran up and down looking for the whisk but unfortunately that was the only one. She was very sweet and super helpful. They have a wonderful selection of tea albeit a smaller one. I do love that it is a self serve place however I find it a little odd that they sell the tea by container size rather then weight which would make much more sense. I bought two tins of tea and the tea leaves are fragrant (in a good way), long and beautiful and a wonderful colour. I would definelty drop by again once I finish my tea, if not for the tea then for the wonderful customer service
Gérald LONLAS
Gérald LONLAS: Certainly the most tasting tea I tried. I love the freshness and the smell of their tea. Great place to know for buying high quality tea at a very good price.
Jenny Zhu
Jenny Zhu: The tea tastings here are so nice! The staff has definitely helped me grow my tea expertise and collection. The London Fog is my personal favorite. The best part is that all their teas taste amazing on their own.
Gloria Yates
Gloria Yates: so delightful, all the flavours.

Amey Bhalerao
Amey Bhalerao: I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Secret Garden Tea Company in Vancouver, and I must say, it was an enchanting experience. My party and I opted for both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian high tea options, and we were delighted by the variety and quality of the offerings.Starting with the vegetarian high tea, the selection of savory and sweet treats was impressive. The sandwiches were beautifully crafted, with a variety of flavors and fillings that catered to different tastes. From classic cucumber and cream cheese to unique combinations like roasted red pepper with feta, each sandwich was a delightful bite-sized creation.Moving on to the non-vegetarian high tea, the inclusion of meat added an extra layer of indulgence. The chicken and beef sandwiches were tender and flavorful, showcasing the kitchen's attention to detail and commitment to quality ingredients. They were thoughtfully paired with condiments and spreads that elevated the flavors even further. Both high tea options also included a delectable assortment of scones and pastries. The scones were freshly baked and accompanied by clotted cream and jam, adding a traditional touch to the experience. The pastries were beautifully presented and offered a delightful range of flavors, textures, and colors. From delicate macarons to rich chocolate tarts, each pastry was a miniature work of art.To complement the high tea experience, the Secret Garden Tea Company offered an extensive selection of teas. The staff was knowledgeable and provided helpful recommendations to ensure we found the perfect tea to suit our preferences. The teas were expertly brewed and served in charming teapots, allowing us to savor the aromas and flavors throughout the meal. The ambiance of the Secret Garden Tea Company was equally enchanting. The quaint decor, with its floral accents and vintage-inspired furniture, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall charm of the place, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of.In conclusion, the Secret Garden Tea Company in Vancouver offers a memorable high tea experience, both for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian high tea options provide a wide array of scrumptious sandwiches, scones, and pastries that are sure to please every palate. With a delightful tea selection and a charming ambiance, it's the perfect place to enjoy an indulgent afternoon tea with friends or loved ones

Regina Singh: We went to Secret Tea Garden hoping to get in. We did not have a reservation and it was the height of lunch hour on Easter Sunday. It was fairly busy. Not only were we seated great spot but we both agreed that lunch was absolutely delicious. I'm a salt & pepper person, but none was needed. I highly recommend the BLT on the cheese scone and Senegal chicken & peanut soup
Sue_ So
Sue_ So: This was my first time having high tea here. I was really looking forward to this place with all the hype and reviews people have been giving but after being there for two hours and paying more than 80$ per person, I would not come back. I mean, the atmosphere and food were mediocre. Don’t get me wrong, their high tea set is cute to look at, but flavours were really nothing that extraordinary. Their high tea set comes in three tiers. My favourite was their bottom tier, which was all savoury. It’s questionable whether or not their pastries are baked on a daily as their scones are kinda dry and the frosting on their “cupcake” was stiff and not fluffy like it is when fresh. Their selection of teas was just right. Our server didn’t seem to wanna bother with us besides taking our order and asking us to pack. Overall, nothing that special about this place but people’s pictures. Give it a try for yourself, but be warned. 😅🤷🏻‍♀️Oh. And there’s no parking, so you gotta figure that out on your own.P.S. I would give this place 2.5 stars, but there are no half stars so… 🙊

Angel Riddle: My friend and I drove from Seattle to Vancouver to visit Secret Garden Tea company. We made reservations in advance for the winter high tea and had a fabulous time. Arrive early because parking can be a challenge to find. Once we were there on a Saturday mid day the restaurant was very busy so I recommend reservations. The tea was delicious I got the sugar plum tea and the spread was very filling. It’s a beautiful location and I would happily return.Parking: Arrive early, parking can be difficult to find. We ended up paying for parking across the street but free parking is near impossible on the weekends.
