Sprott Shaw College East Vancouver: what do users think?
Rylen Moore: This campus is an absolute dumpster fire. The instructors and administration are abrasive, power-tripping, rude, and completely unhelpful. They will gladly reprimand you in front of others for minor infractions (for example: being a few minutes late to class due to public transit delays), ask you to leave the program if you are falling behind, cite “professionalism” as the reason for their bullying behaviour but completely lack any themselves, and keep your money in the process. The ONLY redeeming instructor in the nursing program is Becky Wyatt - she is an angel with a good heart and an amazing way of teaching. The rest are horrible and will NOT support you or have your best interests in mind.
Joy Flor: I finished my HCAP program in 2022 and got my registry number within a week of application. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach of SprottShaw College in East Van, I finished my program on time and landed a good job immediately. I got hired asap and now work as a regular registered HCA in BC.
Machi Capitle: Very friendly, helpful, supportive and accommodating staffs. Very beautiful location overseeing the mountains and very close to Main Street Skytrain (5 minutes walk). Campus' atmosphere is very conducive to learning. EA instructor was amazing and very considerate. Everyone is treated fairly. :)
Irene Kim: I enrolled in Education Assistant program at Sprottshaw college east Vancouver campus, and it has been a life changing experienced . Ms. Jas, my instructor, has been amazing. She is knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help me and students succeed .Everyday in class is so much fun. Ms. Jas has created a positive and inclusive learning environment ,so everyone feels welcome and supported.I highly recommend Sprottshaw college and Instructor Jas for anyone interested in Education Assistant.Thank you for helping me start new chapter in my life!
Pamela Rigo: I love my instructor Ms. Jas Saghera, she's very experienced in her field and she always connecting what we are learning to the real world. Every Monday she's asking us to set 3 goals for that week. Highly Motivational instructor. Good staff, very good school. I recommend it.
Alejandra Arozarena: Sprottshaw is a great place to study! Fast paced and interactive. The Education Assistant program is amazing and really prepares you for the real world.
Mister Pogi: I would like say my two bits on this review: This campus overall was a great experience, but what made it worth while is the opportunity given to me as a career going forward- A Licensed Practical Nurse. No campus or school is perfect, but for the end results you can not ask for anything more :).I would like to say there are some talented and awesome instructors in this campus. To name a few is Daniel P, Kristel D C, Levon, Adimas, Joan.Daniel- Amazing amazing person, extremely talented, and knowledgably in Nursing, very helpful, and very resourceful. Knows how to approach things in different styles and an asset to any organization and Nursing faculty. First person to introduce me to clients and residents. Teaches you techniques and outside of the box thinking. He is very observant, and tell you tips and tricks to make things easier. He shows you real world scenarios and experiences. One important thing, among his students is he builds trust and their confidence, and that goes a long way to keep you calm and positive in the real field. As a leader/instructor you need to demonstrate the same skills you ask of your students, and I believe he is one of the many few who best exemplifies these traits. He knows when to push students and knows when to instruct students and insulate them. He teaches the real world and not just from a textbook.Kristel D C- Amazing person, very knowledgeable, and keen on details. Prepares you for the future and your career. Always cares about your education and puts effort in everything she does and not one bit goes to waste. She has the students attention and respect everytime she speaks. She does not teach for pay she teaches to make nurses and very very good nurses.Levon- Amazing person, very knowledgeable, very good and clear instructions. Creates a good sense of learning. He not only teaches you how to recognize things but teaches you how to respond accordingly.I would like thank the entire faculty. But most importantly to Daniel. Thank you! And Thank you to the rest of the Nursing Faculty.
Yunseok Ahn: It is the best campus! Instructors and staffs are really nice!
Arlene Vee: Sprott Shaw administration has unacceptable professionalism. They cause nothing but unnecessary stress and will gladly take your money, and the governments money.
Naazy Naazy: The worst college to attend to.. do not believe the reviews..The instructors in the LPN program do not teach you..they give you overwhelming amount of information in one class have a quiz the next the day and they expect you do know everything by than. If you ask the instructor for help she will tell you she doesn't have time to go over it. They want you to memorize the class information in 24hours. You get timed for your quizzes and if your not done the program shuts you down and if you'restill working on it the quiz the instructor (Jin) will tell you she doesn't have time to wait and she gets paid to start teaching at a certain time!! I went here due to the circumstances because in the public schools they have an extensive waiting list. If I had a choice I wouldn't even come here . You end up teaching yourself material that a instructor should be teaching you. I am sure I not the only one who has complained about this issue.
Marilou D.: Since we are doing our lesson at home, I cannot really elaborate my opinions, but I can only tell, the staff are really helpful around the office for the couple time I was in the campus and very accommodating. They response on my inquiries via email on time as well as with our instructors.Thank you Sprott Shaw College for giving me this opportunity of changing my career. Another experiences to embark on!
Marelize Van Der Westhuizen: Amazing staff and friendly faces whenever I go to campus. Online classes really help right now especially with limited time to go to class. Instructor and classmates are always friendly and ready to help when needed. Smaller classes makes it easier to ask questions when I need it.
Christa McGregor: I have been enrolled at Sprott Shaw since Spring 2021 and so far I am loving the teachers and admin that I have been involved with. I have received prompt and helpful replies to my inquiries and the online delivery of course content is user friendly and instructors are great!
Catherine Cartwright: Instructor Jin Lee is FANTASTIC!! As a mature student I'm very appreciative to have such an intelligent, clear and thorough teacher with a great sense of humour.
Lucas Almeida: my wife was doing LPN course at this branch specifically. There was so much much foing on in our lives, we did not need problems from school. However, the school decided to pick my wife and say that she needed to do an english test for the government. Even though she had 90% marks, she was doing great. Among all the classmates, among all kinds of people with different accent and cultures, she was the only one picked. They made her life so hard at that particular time. My wife is a great person, calm, responsible, quiet etc. I would never refer this school to anybody. My wife ended up going to CDI. She finished the course with no problem, no harassment. Today she is an LPN. I wonder why they decided to make her life miserable at Sprott Shaw, I dont know. The school even ended up refusing to provide her transcript for the license application. So in my opinion this college is horrable.
Amanda Forsey: Great school. Staff and teachers are friendly and helpful. The programs are informative and relate well to real world situations.
Henry Morato: .The Program is great! The school itself is great! The instructors, other staffs and the director are great people! They are kind and easy to talk to. Easily accessible and they are very considerate to the students. Lots of activities and awesome facilities.Until my time for practicum came, the person I've talked to is not professional. All talk at the start, full of promises, but all lie, even made sarcastic and personal comments pertaining to my goals. Very very bad experience. I'm sorry, but I did have a very bad experience with that person.
michele twemlow: I am so enjoying my time and program (Seta) with Sprott Shaw East Vancouver. The campus is so supportive and we really have a great time with all the events put on for students. The administration staff and teachers are wonderful and very supportive.
Amandah May: I never thought in a million years that I would be back at school. I really "didn't get it" in the past and had lost hope that I would never reach my full potential. I am so glad I decided to look into going back as Sprott Shaw College (East Vancouver Campus) has been such a blessing in my life. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the campus and can't thank the staff enough for being so welcoming, patient and helpful. Britni, Nimfa, Olga, Russ, Lindy and Chelsea have been such wonderful supports for me these past 9 months and I am so grateful for all their help. I would highly recommend the East Vancouver campus as well as Sprott Shaw to anyone wanting to change the course of their lives via education.

Sprott Shaw College - Downtown Vancouver: what do users think?
Shamal Mudiyanselage: Hai, I’m shamal doing BAM with co-up. It’s being only 3 weeks with my collage and I’m having amazing time. Appreciate all the help from staff and international office as well. My first class teacher mr.Anderson he is a great teacher. With Kes he is very helpful with our current course. I recommended to anyone who willing to have such experience with amazing teachers and collage please joing and explore your dream.

Ghazal: I have recently graduated from this college. I can say for sure I spent one of my precious and memorable times of my life in ECE class. Our instructor Mylyn Nuguid was not only an awesome teacher, but also a supportive friend to us. She was patient, respectful and so thoughtful. She helped us reach our goal in this beautiful journey.
Sheryl Peralta: The school is very accessible from my location and the staff are very helpful.Thumbs-up to Miss Mylyn Nuguid our very supportive and cool teacher. With your guidance and encouragement we are able to finished our program with no hustles. Thank you..😘
Candy Gama: I just finished Early Childhood Education at Sprott Shaw College in West Pender downtown Vancouver. I have learned so much in my classes with Ms. Mylyn Nuguid. She paces the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. In her classes Ms. Nuguid asks questions and gets the students to respond which is both fun and promotes faster learning. She provides both a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities and a very safe, supportive learning environment. As a student, you feel pushed to learn and try out new competencies, feel safe and supported in doing so and gain valuable feedback that helps you to improve. It has been a great experience. She is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the materials, her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging her students to try. I would highly recommend her. Ms. Nuguid, from the bottom of my heart, i would like to say I can’t thank you enough for all your hardwork for all of us to be a good in what we do, we did it! 😘😘😘
Ola Kosile: I deleted my review because the school representative; Isabella Young in particular has been very nice and helpful.I will be glad if they can resolve this eventually. Thank you Jane and Isabella, I cannot thank you guys enough!!!
Takee Mika: I really appreciate all teachers in SSC Downtown. They are very supportive and encouraging us to accomplish the hard process while taking the courses.
Hak Hyun Lee: NEVER go to this school if your major is not ECE or Health Care별 한개도 아까움 본인이 갈 학과가 ECE나 헬스케어 아닌 이상 절대 절대 절대 갈 필요 없는 학교임 ECE랑 헬스케어도 졸업하면 적어도 쓸모는 있는 정도지 다른 컬리지들이랑 비교하면 수준 낮음 졸업할때 PGWP도 안주는데 제발 그냥 다른 컬리지 가세요あなたの学科がECEやHealth Careでないなら最悪。 絶対に入学しないでください。
MANVEER SP SINGH: Hi friends karamjit here. I am attending the Sprott Shaw@ pender. Great school. The teacher is amazing @komela.Love being there.
D Morrison: Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Ying Zhao: A great College!
Sadeer Essa: Its been 5 months with sprott shaw in HCA course . the instructor Mindy Thandy is amazing, had great knowledge about what she's teaching, helpful, very good listener, always on time, lots of patient with everything, and always ready to hear any question and cover lots of information in each chapter she go through, and love her reviews all the time :) :)the course is full with lots of details and information, sometimes I feel its really over and to much of details that we need to know and to much quiz and assessment ( we are studying HCA NOT to be DOCTORS ) in one side its great to know all of that, in the other side your going to spend a lots lots of time than you expected to study and read and consume all the information . more appreciate if there is more lab training ( one day a week is completely not enough ) , may be because of COVID there is not enough labs, I don't know. But definitely we need more labsover all, I am very lucky to have MINDY on board as our instructorhighly recommended, she will be missed big time
Raphaella P.: Thanks to Ms. Karen, I finish the ECE Basic course well. If you're interested in ECE, please come to the sprott shaw college Pender campus!!!
Maymona Abdi: I had a great experience so far and I look forward to finishing my course I am grateful for my instructor Mindy she teaches us well and cares about teaching and I learn so much from her compassionate teaching💜
Saki: I am enjoying my college life at SSC.SSC is a good place to study for international students too. Instructors and stuffs are supportive and kind. I am taking an ECE basic course now. I am enjoying to study about this course. My instructor is Karen Abalos. She is kind and supportive. And she has a passion to teach. She knows each student well. And she respects the individual personality of each student and offer support for everyone. Her class is always fun. She always offer comfortable envrionment to students. Her explanation of lesson is easy to understand. Because she include her experience story a lot.So students can understand easily. Also for example, when international students met new difficult vocabulary, she changed that to easy words or explain about that vocabulary too. So it easy to understand her class for international students too. I am glad that she is my instructor. I want to learn a lot from her in the future too! Thank you!
Casey Cartwright: Very nice location, I started my journey with Sprott Shaw at the Seymour Campus but have since moved to Pender location, Karen was my instructor at both locations and I genuinely think that she is one of the reasons I excelled throughout the program. She is an incredibly caring, understand, thoughtful instructor. Highly recommend Sprott Shaw especially Karen
Joanah Pangga: At the height of the pandemic I saw it as an opportunity to start my ECE journey and I am so glad that I did! Sprott Shaw College did an amazing job making remote learning seamless, and having graduated last year I find myself to still be using the skills and knowledge that I have acquired over the past couple of years. On top of that, I am incredibly grateful to have Karen Abalos as my teacher throughout my whole journey! There is nothing that I miss more than the amazing classroom environment that she has single-handedly created for me and my classmates. If you’re interested in the ECE field, Sprott Shaw College is the place to go!
Rachel Hartwick: Karen Abalos is a wonderful teacher. Karen has gone above and beyond for her students. If more teachers were like here then more classrooms would be getting 86 percent and up!.
Tanaka Nozomi: Karen is a supportive and acceptable teacher. Always give us a lot of effort and encouragements. I'm glad to come this school and have excellent experiences.
Manju Jhalli: Mindy is really good teacher she always shows right path of career and study.

L Sidwell: Very accommodating, pleasant and approachable.
Jan Vldz: Totally recommended
Serika N: I was worried about my English level but Karen taught us to understand easier when we confused. And she was very positive person and always encouraged us so I was able to keep my high motivation. I was able to get an ECE certificate that’s because of her. Diego Ruiz: Nice college about childhood in the middle of downtown
Dean LIM: I want to give 0 point. DO they think about the student? Do you think about only money? Good news gathers students and bad news leaves student. The frustration and more hard times of meeting a bad instructor who make students stuffer and the school wants only make money.
Megumi Ishimoto: Wonderful collage! I want to say big thank you to all the teachers and staffs there. Especially, Megan had been my teacher for all courses and the way she teaches is very easy to understand for everybody. Mizuki helped me with everything about school. She explained to me how to go though the process so kindly. Joseph was the biggest helper to find the job. He thought of that warmly with me. Thanks to him I have great work now and I'm enjoying it very much. I really reccomend everybody this collage.
Sayaka Kato: Great teacher and staff!
Soyul: I ‘ve been here as an ECE student here for almost one year and a couple of months now. The staffs at the front desk are always super friendly, helpful and supportive! I would strongly recommend downtown Seymour Campus if you are thinking of taking ECE courses :)

Youngeun Julie Oh: I wanted to write this review for Joseph who is the best support staff ever at this campus. He is fast, friendly, kind, thoughtful and smart.
Lisa liu: I have completed ECE basic course last month. I was evening class student. The course takes almost one year. I think the best reason for choosing Sprott Shaw is efficient and effective. You don't have to wait, saving a lot of time. During my study time, Colin and Junelle always reply my email immediately, i remember one day I emailed Colin at 1030pm about my practicum problem, he replied me at 130am that night to response the problem. Junelle helps us a lot, she explains everything clearly. If you have any question, contact her. she is nice and helpful. Another staff who always help us is Joseph. He is the best! Most of instructors were responsible, resourceful. The only bad experience i had was the practicum arrangement. In general, this is one of the best choices of my life.
YUE DUAN: I graduated from Sprott Shaw College this summer and l love here very much. I met several good classmates here and become to friends with them all after class. They are wonderful girls! In addition, I met two great teachers here, Monica and Nadia, who taught me a lot to be a qualified ECEA. What's more, I got to know a very nice person, Joseph, who help me a lot to prepare a professional resume and taught me how to write a cover letter with his patient. And I got lots of helping from Colin, Junelle and Monica. In a word, thanks for all and I had a great time during this summer here!! If I have next chance to study here, it will be my pleasure!
Romy Chang: I am very grateful to the teachers. Every teacher helps me very much. They help me a lot when I meet troubles in my school life. So, I thank my teachers very much. I believe my English will become better and better. I'm glad I got my ecea license.
Garam Choi: I'm a student at Sprott Shaw Seymour campus right now, and have been for over a year doing 3 practicums so far - and I have been loving my time here. Some instructors are so amazing, and the support staff here are so helpful and fast! (The campus also has employment service, a person that helps you find employment and apply for the license!)
Hạnh Duyên Nguyễn: Great experienceTeacher is very good at teaching and helping students!!!
Nicole Jiang: The teachers are all very responsible and all staff so helpful.I love here!
Bubs: It was a great experience learning from all the instructors here! I got a job within few months after graduating and they always helped me out whenever i needed it. They won't hesitate to do whatever it may take to get you back onto your feet! +++++++++

Sterling College: what do users think?
mehrdad zaeri: I worked for this college for almost two years. Here is my feedback:Gender equality = 0, Heads up for guys, if you like to keep the job change your gender.Transparency=0, they never tell what will happen next.Your manager is your boss ! it means whatever she tells you is correct !Rule and policy is for someone who doesn't have connection(specially if you are man) in this organization, otherwise do whatever you like, who cares.Lobbying in work place against someone who always on time and work hard.Toxic work place !
Ishu Chopra: could you please tell me sterling college will provide work permit after completion of course or red deer college?
Jashan Vlogs: I have been studying here from almost 2 months now and its a great experience so far. instructors are great. lectures are interesting. good place to learn,

Deejai: An amazing institution that designs programs that prepare students to be well-equipped with knowledge and skills for future career.
Kathelean verna Miranda: Sterling College is very helpful to International Students who are aspiring to be successful in their chosen field-all are doing their best from Admin to Faculty staff . I am glad to have the guidance from my Instructors who are very hands-on to our needs, lectures, reviews in our current program-Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Practice and Management and also to our application and other requirements needed in becoming a Nurse here in Canada like English exams &Jurisprudence exams,NCAS,CPRNE which I have successfully accomplished/passed too through perseverance and ofcourse through the continued support from Sterling and my mentors from the college.
Liza Mae El Zarif: I am currently studying here and it is a great experience so far. I feel engaged in the lessons, and the teachers are very skilled in what they do. I hope to learn more in the months to come and will hopefully be able to start my nursing career again.
JOYCE FABRA: An excellent course: it provides students with the concepts and skills necessary for acquiring a nursing license here in Canada. Lectures are clear and well organized. There are extra classes for students to go deeper into the topics (optional) especially if you’re scheduled for an assessment or exams like NCAS, IELTS, CELBAN, CPNRE or NCLEX.

BCIT Downtown Campus: what do users think?
Makayla Peredery: Beautiful building with nice study areas.
lcd vision: Good
YVR Vancouver: 2022:2nd floor in under renovation still which means the escalator is all boarded up.If you don't have a mask, ask at the security desk and you will be provided a disposable blue one.
Damoun .A: High workload because they cram a 4 year course into 2 years. Practical assignments are a plus though.
Gurpal Singh: One of the best college in BC.
Farhang Eradi Alvandi: This College rejected my Admission while i have a GPA of 19.40 out of 20. They only look at a specific course and reject the admissions easily. Do not apply for this school.
R L: Dental Receptionist Course - the course is full of outdated information (1980’s material given). No proper citations in the made up handout book - Very unprofessional. Time could be better spent in the classroom - The class end date was extended b/c instructor was sick one day - which is fine. But then class time is wasted on spelling bees as opposed to making up for the missed day.
Tereza: I used BCIT servises as I needed an invigilator for my exam. I was communicating with Tanya, the Assessment Administrator, before and during my exam and I have to say she provides excellent customer service, she is very responsive via email, and approachable, friendly and kind in person. When you're stressed before the test, it is really much appreciated!! :-) Thank you!
More Memorable Events: Modern and comfortable building with clean and reasonable underground parking.
Triston Wiles: Very clean campus! 6G Wifi!!
Michael Chen (夜典): Pretty clean place for learning and studying. However, there are some renovation projects underway as of this writing. If noise is an issue for you try the library or Burnaby campus instead.
Jay Brahmbhatt: Great experience.Clean campus with full of technologies.
Ryan Collicutt: Love the campus so far!
Yuriy Shevchuk: The filthiest, dirtiest, smelliest street of the entire downtown. Men lay on the street and under garbage bins, this is unheard of!
Cathy: They did NOT refund me fully properly. They refunded me $200-ish less via money transfer. They just justified themselves and blamed my bank then closed the case. No matter how many times I asked them to explain the situation and fix it asap, they disappeard that is a big fraud. They did not dislose the breakdown of the transaction though I did ask them million times, and Kathy, the director of BCIT promised me to do so. It is also disappointing that Edward Ko at the international office who used to be kind and patient did NOT help me on this.In short, they did NOT add commission and exchage rate stuff on purpose when remiting back the $$$$ that was mandatory to do, which I covered when transfering the required amount to BCIT. Horrible as ever.
y'al k: bufu
RUTH SUMAN: this is the best university for me. this is my dream
Alex Jacob: Great infrastructure on the campus! I loved that they had several locations in Vancouver. Once you have a class in DT you can go and enjoy the city afterwards.
Aman Dhaliwal: the staff doesn’t know anything. they don’t have any knowledge. Everytime everyone just gave different answer to the same question. Due to their lack of knowledge ... i am having a really bad impact on my studies, schedule and registration. Ridiculous
Kazz Av: Love study here
Einj: The staff is nice and helpful. Overall it's a good school.

Jedidiah Chu: I have been going to BCIT for the last semester, so far so good! Instructors were helpful and knowledgeable.
Yazmine: Campus is pretty
Kiegan Boersma: Do they ever stop building new structures?
Ted Li: Free parking on that date only.
Devin Wong: the staff discriminate against disabled people
Brandon wilbur: Student/visitor parking is rammed, while staff lots all over campus are only about 1/3 full. Something must be done.
Malik Haddad: the parking is dumb
Glenda Bowley: Health Sciences building is state of the art.
Gian Davis Cajamarca Villanueva: One of the best technology institutions in Canada.
Alex Moorjani: Teachers are really nice and helpful, career advisor and program advisor they are so helpful that I know what my future path is. Wonderful job.
Raymond Zhang: Kids, don't go here if you dont want to live an unhappy life.
Luvpreet Kaur: i almost ruined my life by choosing so called bcit. unsupportive staff, please guys don't choose bcit for your studies. Please!!!!!!!!
F Y: Most staff are unsupportive, impatient, and unfriendly. They are burnt out and hate their jobs and students. The only male staff member in the Student enrollment service was helpful and cooperative.I sent feedback to the Dean and the Student Life Manager called me. However, she was frustrated and irritated. After I complained, the student advisor becoming hostile and more unsupportive. Teamwork. Besides improving their mistreatment, they are proative to cover their mistakes and bully students. There are many schools. You should all avoid this place.
Eric Tsang: Came here almost 5 years ago to the CST program, and followed up with BTech program. learned lots from courses, peers, and self learning too! Graduated in 2017. Now working at Microsoft ayyy pretty gud!
Carla Rezzutti: Bcit is the most disorganized school I've ever attended. I'm very disappointed and would bot recommend it at all.
Gurveena Dhillon: Be Alert plz….!! Very bad experience with this so called Institute of Beautiful British Columbia ie BCIT…Big stigma on BC education system, thr r lots of contradictions regarding their admission process. no one knows the exact dates and procedure. they should hire experienced and qualified staff to help students. as per information from their admission dept. that the admission of one of the part time course open on 24 Feb 2021. when i contacted the institute on that date they said that all seats are full by 19 feb. Even thr dean said to me that you are late we dont have 2nd instructor and started making excuses, they only make fool of you, rather than to help you out. Corrupt system of this institute. They even dnt entertain your complaints too. I called thr complaint dept even they don’t care abt u..So only time waste…
William K Smith: What a joke... Half of the Instructor for Interior design seems like they don't even want to be here. It might be better to learn it on our own.
Sheri: We toured the BCIT School of Construction this morning with our trades students. We were very impressed and inspired! A special shout-out to Marita Luk for an exceptional experience! #bcit #skilledtrades
Eden: Seven out of nine instructors lack the capability to teach, and only 2 showed passion for teaching and cared about the students. Out of the many schools, this provided the worst quality of education and overall experience.

Langara College: what do users think?
A G: My partner attends school here. The curriculum is TOP tier, and the Proffessors are very approachable. She is stressed, only because the possibilities for our future are SO great. Her class is similar to the course at UBC. And THAT is amazing.
Kay Matthew: For all the money they make in International Student tuition they sure don't put that money back into their staffing. The administration staff are terrible and have zero customer service skills. I guess working with International students who don't understand rudeness has created this weird acceptance among the staff that they are superior to their students. This school needs a major overhaul to match the beautiful campus and potential they have. Get your education and get out. No one walks around the world proud to be a Langara alumni, and that's pretty sad.
Thomas Yemane: Great instructors for math, physics, chemistry, was a regular at the Tim Hortons, big fan of the gorgeous T building.
B A: Outstanding institute
Kenneth Lai: The staff is friendly and helpful.
Arshit Verma: Worst college. Worst decision to get in here. Teachers doesn’t know how to teach , they make the easy concept by teaching it in a boring way. Even they do partiality. Also the courses of your programme are never available so no fun of choosing your programme because you never get your course. This college is nothing else but just a source of extra stress in your life. Never chose this college especially if you’re an international students.
Derrick Man: There are amazing and some bad instructors (some just read word-by-word from lecture slides and fail to explain the concepts).Since September 2021, if you send an EMAIL to some departments (Business, Registration...), they will respond: “We are experiencing a high volume of emails” or “We are experiencing a heavier load of emails” and will respond to your email within 2-14 business days. The business department used to not accept in-person service and didn’t allow students to walk into their department. One time, I tried walking into the business department. I heard people (Langara employees) inside laughing, chilling, and talking around with other employees. When I walked in, they were completely silent (lol), and they kicked me out of their department. They told me to send them an email (bruh, I sent them emails, and they never responded)No FOOD Options. Langara only has Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Triple O, and Subway. Those are considered basic food options (what a college is supposed to have). How are you supposed to survive 2+ years with these food options? 😂😂 You have to take a bus to Fraser in order to get more food options.TEXTBOOKS: When you don’t want to buy textbooks, or you borrow a textbook from a friend, they still force you to buy a package (ex: Pearson MyLab) that comes/includes the textbook. You don’t have the option to get a package that doesn’t include a textbook. If you don’t buy that package, you can LOSE 5-100% of your FINAL Grade.⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be CAREFUL when you walk to/from school at NIGHT. It’s pretty dark, and there are no pedestrian lights. I almost TRIPPed a few times while walking there. I already reported to the school, and they haven’t taken action.B Building is like a prison. Need to improve the design of classrooms and the building.Course Selection: there are few elective courses (easy to ok difficulty level).
HappyGirl1989: Oh boy, where do I start and how I can explain this. I am current kinesiology student, I wanted to know if my creative writing classes count as a prerequisite for kin 1150. The Dean of the department told me that is not a prerequisite for English 1123. I contacted the English department Noel Currie who is the advising for English courses. I showed her my creative writing classes, she gave me an override and waived it for me. I try to register for kin 1150 no success. I contacted the same person who is part of the English advising department. She doesn't even know why it’s doing this to me, she told me to contact the registers office. I call the registers office they put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hang up and call back, they looked at my profile and told me that a prerequisite override has nothing to do with meeting the prerequisites of English 1123. This is only for if you do not get into the classes for English 1123 or any other type of English class. I am not sure what words to explain on how angry and disgusted I am on behalf of this entire college. I hope everyone is reading this and do not come here, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Don’t end up in the same boat like me, this is ridicule and unacceptable. Oh and to end my review, one kin prof called my message a spam. I think your whole college is a spam, take that Langara!
Paras Paras: They take 3 times more money from international students but no special efforts are made for new comers and they are expected to be at the level of domestic students who are used to the education system. Overall all of colleges and universities work together to loot international students which is how they've built the structures of their building.
David Balkanyi: Langara College is like Flair Airlines too bad for the few nice instructors
Sabrina Chang: Langara College owns a relatively small campus but still with beautiful architecture and views.
LV Long: They just want the $$$$
gurpartap singh: Very nice college
Jaskaran Jaskaran: Worst college.
giao alan: trash
Hòa Đoàn: When I had to study in an environment at Langara College, I felt very negative because of the way the teacher's teaching caused. Teachers are the first to be born, I feel very dissatisfied because of the teacher's actions. Of course, it was not only the teachers who spoke badly, but Langara University itself influenced me, the school took a lot of money from me and my friends. In my opinion you should not attend this school.
Abo Tufano: Langara has been freshly renewed so that now it can compete with other more famous public colleges of British Columbia.
Eren Yeager: Management is awful here at this school. Amazing teachers though.
Harpreet Singh: One of the worst ever college especially for international students because they just want your money. This college never respond to any application enquiry. They will tell you that general timeline is 4 to 6 weeks for application processing even after 12+ weeks no response from their side.
Tammy Young: Went to school here was a wonderful experience some of the best moments I have spent in my life was here. Some nostalgic moments never leave you I will always remember you my college!
Robin Brenner: Good College

VCC - Downtown Campus: what do users think?
Jon Sheffield: The food from the culinary arts students is outstanding and reasonably priced. Apart from the limited timing this place rule for downtown food open to the public. The cafe sells butchered meats cheaper than any grocery store.
Ehsan Mahditabar: My best year was in VCC with excellent teaching and high learning level
HappyGirl1989: I had a bad experience here with the cooking school back in the year 2018. I was being very mistreated by a substitute chef here. I left in tears, never stepping foot here no matter what program they have to offer here. Stay away, I am warning you.
Munim Chowdhury: Went for a brief visit with my friend as he got admitted in an automotive program in VCC. The space is well utilized, and staff are friendly. Parking has to be done on the street.
kait patt: I was enrolled in doing online classes to upgrade some courses. I had so many problems, not being able to see my classes, not being able to get a concrete answer from anyone just kept getting transferred to someone else. They don't put any prices out for you to see and you will be half way through your course and they want you to complete "part 2" which means re paying. Other I know who have gone here say they were completely used just for their money. This school is all about the money.
Sandra Landaverde: VCC is in the downtown core easy access while there you can enjoy their services which it's run by highly qualified students instructors and personal in general study 📖 as well 😉
Stuart Furness: Keep an eye out, the new VCC bake shop will be opening soon.
Christopher Edwards: I had an academic advising appointment with Kseniia, she was very kind and able to answer all my questions and explain the options I have going forward. Very excited about continuing my education with VCC.
Jonathan Lumu: Best I wish for everyone
Fakhr Alrakwi: Great place to get affordable yet yummy meals made by future chefs 👨‍🍳 😋
Ki Rocky (Rocky): ALLERT: Think carefully before studying in this school, especially INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS once they had your money, they don’t care or really help you.WANT TO LEFT SCHOOL, yes you can go but NO REDUND in their dictionary.
R L: Apparently this school doesn’t work for everyone I was told by the instructor - just a select few - it’s not inclusive of all walks of life.8 students from the dental hygiene program failed the first semester. That’s 36.6% failure rate. Instructors do not know how to teach anatomy. When it came to learning anatomy they do not show students how to distinguish between teeth, anomalies or anything of the such. They don’t elaborate on the learning topics. Just verbatim of slides in class. They don’t have frequent testing to ensure information sticks. Also, come 4pm - good luck finding an instructor. They all disappear. As a person, it’s great! classes end at 4pm. but as a learning environment, it shouldn’t close so soon. Lazy people. And if they do see you struggling... instead of helping the student personally they pass the buck to learning services. Like learning services is a tutor in the DH program. They are not. They like to blame the student and lack of studying. Which isn’t the case. They need to teach better. Many students struggled with learning what the instructors want them to learn. They are not clear in what needs to be known. They might have been good decades ago but they sure are out of date now.
ThinkableEden YT: Nice
Stephen James: My advisor left the campus. My review was intended to highlight the efforts of this person in my educational endeavours. Thus, I am left to revise the review accordingly.
Sapan Sandhu: Good but expensive college, staff is very friendly. Premises and maintenance are worth watching.
Verna victoria Mclaughlin: I only stopped in but it was a clean and inviting campus
Simi M: VCC sets up students for success. The few instructors whose classes I taken have been genuine educators looking to support students achieve their goals.
Ben Wiese: Awesome Culinary Program.I learned a lot from VCC. Excellent experience living in Vancouver for sure. memories of taking the Skytrain, and met some really interesting people during my time living There off Joyce. Thanks Hamid. I still have our 2014 Grad Photo. I remember our classes well.Good time.
B: I believe Library is for student there study quietly right ? But I guess not , we were just trying to do out work in quite place but this lady and her probably beauty student came in talking super loud and distractingly in the middle of library. And her ugly laugh is so irritating to hear .
Amelia C: Horrible instructors. They don't teach you the course properly, and mark you extremely hard on any work. I've been to other colleges, and this one is by far the WORST. Too many people in the class, and can't be bothered to help or even explain how to do assignments properly.

VCC - Broadway Campus: what do users think?
13Y Hu: Karen my best friend, miss you buddy!
Evil WolfeKilla75: Appling for VCC is so hard to do. They ask you to pay first and they look at your application after the payment. Seem dumb and it just wasting people time and money.
Logan row: The online enrolment process leaves something to be desired. Administrators take long to get back to students, not too sure what they’re doing, but I’m pretty sure their role is to help rectify any issues students have. Anyways, be prepared for going back and forth with administrators on simple topics. Courses so far are okay. The library is old, but it seems like they are updating it. A weird man with a rag on his head and lipstick was found sleeping in there, luckily security was around to escort him out. Overall, it’s a decent place, just be aware of your surroundings. The new buildings are very nice though.
Roger Griffin: Excellent institution, however the terrible online enrollment process actually discourages me from enrolling. Hire a better web developer, VCC, and improve your website.
Stuart Furness: This is where I work
Santiago Soto: Super nice, my new college ❤️💪🏽
Karam Audel: Love the ABE YOUTH program and the staff they are very helpful and friendly :)
Maegan Henderson: great school but the online enrolment process doesnt work and really turns me away from enrolling. VCC, please hire a better web develeper and fix you website
R L: The dental hygiene program sqeezes you of your money. You are forced to buy the dentoform (~$300), tabletop mount for dentoform (~$200), a cheap costco HR/BP machine (~$40), but most expensive thing... the cavitron machine! (No other program makes you buy this) It's $3000! plus its inserts. (~$250/piece x5). Other programs lend you their dentoform for home practice. And they have cavitrons at the school for your use. Save your money if you can & go to another school for the program. You will save nearly $4,250 alone in supplies. You'll never be able to get it back. Cavitron is only good if you plan on getting a degree so that you can open your own clinic. Otherwise it's not necessary to own. The dental office will have a cavitron machine for you to use.
Việt Lê: I have to say there is good and bad instructors, i'm so sorry to say this school is the worst environment for studying, you can be embarrassed by your instructor if you make any mistake, they will forced you to do a lot of things even you don't want to do it, and discriminate you by your accent or any mistake you made and laugh on it
Alex: Terrible
John Fellows: I was there to pick up my daughter in law and it was easy to get there and plenty of space to wait in my car
Xi Yu Guo: Good doctor is filming in VCC
harsh sharma: Lovely campus
KR1STALIX: played mountains by david cabador
stephen olson: VCC is usually great often times....especially when its opened at the moment it seem to be running half speed but is gearing up for September which is why it seems slow....the doors are open and accessible and available for viewing and getting familiar with the layout which is actually not difficult to figure out since the map is online as well on their website and things are well marked and viable. The accessible and public bathrooms are opened....which are gender neutral as well....both locations are available regular hours but are closing earlier at the moment until they are fully opened.
Weng Weng: Great instructors. Low tuition fee.
Harjeet Panesar: If I would have known I would have went to BCIT. I took AUTOMOTIVE COURSE FOUNDATION. Every 2 or 3 months instructors kept changing. When you ask what is the reason they are like oh they have higher seniority and they chose whatever project they get a chance to work on. I left school to visit my relative came back to check how my classmates are how they doing with the course and I see again the instructor is changed. When you get used to one instructor's teaching style right after that moment he leaves and does something else and we ended up getting new instructor. Not a fun place to be in. BCIT is to go.
Calling-Bear Blackhorse: Seemed really nice. Modern centre. Was there to shoot tv series.
