Manju: I went to the store today to purchase laptop.Our associate,loveleen assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though She has told us about the warranty plan . Its a great service by Loveleen.
K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎
mayuri mammai: Today I happened to go to this store to buy mac book, and at the billing counter, unfortunately, my Credit card chip is malfunctioning, this person named Mathesh started giving me looks and showing an unnecessary attitude, without even looking at my card he said it was expired, as I was trying multiple times inserting my card, he was acting it out. I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄

Even though I had plans to buy later as I went just to look for the options,I ended up finalising the laptop as I was convinced Great service by Aman.
Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt.We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".

I placed an order online, then went and picked it up. I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Today, Prab being helpful did an awesome job finding not only the stylus pen but also the power cable included with the box. Xyz Abc: Mandy is FANTASTIC. I came in to return an online order. For some reason their system showed one of the products had already been returned----I am guessing it had something to do with the price adjustment I got via a Best Buy live chat agent a few days prior. Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.
Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

haidar Alsaady: Had an open box return on a TV that just didn't fit our space the way we wanted. I had lost the original receipt and was worried that might cause issues. Customer service was excellent, reprinted my receipt for me and helped me quickly exchange the TV for a different one. The team leader was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing job!!
Mohammad Hosseini: In the mobile section, a rude guy lied to me about the inventory of a certain phone, and after asking the other employees and figuring out that the phone exists, they tried their best to not sell it. they behaved like I am fraudulent. I don't know what was the reason maybe they were all racist. and saddest part was that even the manager "Teri" didn't give a s**t about our problem.
Frankie Lamb: The sales associate in the cell phone section knows nothing. The unlocked Google 6a phone with no contract has $150 discount posted on their website for several days already and the associate kept insistingit's not on sale and was tryingto persuade me to sign a contract to get the discount. Don't shop at this store.

Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.

Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.

Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

Andrew Sanders: I frequent this location as it's the cheapest option for staples on my regular commute. It's convenient to grab the usual grocery items and nice if you need the odd kitchen tool. I find it very difficult to find specific items or items with different sizes. This location definitely feels smaller than other locations which I have been too.At times the line ups can be fairly bad for checkout but that's to be expected during peak times (5pm on a weekday). The staff there are very pleasant and add to the experience.I am am happy that they have stopped closing the mall entry early, it was extremely frustrating to have to walk around the entire building at 5:30 pm when the mall doesn't close until 6pm.

James Marshall: A lesson to all grocery retailers on how to run a great store: good prices, good selection, friendly staff, clean, and a no-frills experience. Fancy, modern interiors are fine but if it costs me even 1 cent extra per shop (and it will), forget about it. Give me a plain interior and savings any day. High recommend this Walmart.

Edward Meier: Awful retailer. Do not buy from Walmart these days. They will sell the poorest quality products to you and are less than helpful in correcting for there wrong.Recently ordered a few pairs of headphones. They were Apple Earpods, supposed to be identical to the stock Apple Earbuds. The headphones I received, when plugged into my phone, were recognized as beatz headphones and required the use of my phones bluetooth even though they were plugged in through a wire. This is sketchy and misleading that they would sell these as iOS certified. After hours of time wasted contacting the support teams, I'm required to travel an hour back to Walmart to return them - INSTEAD of them just doing a proper quality check before selling these garbage electronics.Doubt I will receive a full refund. I will not trust shopping online at Walmart in the future.

Accuses me of not scanning one of my items and then grabs another of the same item out of my basket and scans it twice. MI Five: For treating innocent shoppers (profiling) like thieves monitoring some more than others at self check out or late evenings or day shopping based on speculation and stereotyping them is tempting class action ls. Treating shoppers with scowls, snickering, mockery, creating drama, dirty looks and gossiping whilst deciding they are guilty as a cross departmental 'attack' verbally and nonverbally is despicable. Learn from Shoppers Drug Mart - they lost customers. Today in particular I asked if she was going to stare at me the entire time like Im a crook for 2 x-large and 3 medium sized items at self checkout and she said yes - shame on you for profiling people of your own culture. Also the store sections HARDLY EVER PICKUP the phone and when they do, they do not want to help customers - why call it customer service? Transferring the phone line to people who dont pick up is useless as well. When asking for detailed help they say vague answers and that it will take a long time if they transfer your call - basically its saying we dont want to help.

Gregory Scott: One of the worst stores for scam pricing. For some reason this store is always cheating people with the multiple item pricing. The sign shows a discount on multiples but you don't get it at check out.Walmart is part of the Scanner Accuracy Program but doesn't follow their obligations.Here is the code from the Government of Canada website.Under the code, when the scanned price of an item without a price tag is higher than the displayed price, the customer is entitled to receive the item free of charge when it is worth less than $10, or receive a $10 reduction if the correct price is worth more than $10.I guess Walmart likes to cheat seniors.

mamtha Rani: My name is Nellie, senior and a regular and a loyal customer at your Capilano Walmart since 2006. I re4commeded your store to many immigrants who gave me positive feedback on your products, displays and well trained , cheerful and eager to help staff on duty. You have 3 cash registers with trained cashiers for people who have different needs beside your self serve cash checkouts. Tavish and 3 cheerful cashiers on duty gave me excellent customer service. Tavish is walking extra miles everyday to help customers, he is patient, very kind, shows customers where the products are located than just direct them to the location. I was looking for a particular item, he walked with me and showed me where that item was located instead of telling me where to go and find by myself. This tells me he has respect and patience. I am a very old senior, I recommend this Walmart to anyone who is able or disabled, healthy or with special needs. Wishing the manager and his staff the best in 2023.
Neil Wexler: I needed an item, and I called this Walmart so many times, and they said they would transfer me every time, and then no one picked up!!! And when I went in, no one could help find the location. And despite the fact it said would have it online, they didn't have it in the store! And when I bought some groceries, I got home to see the orange juice I got was expired. This store definitely needs some work to be at an acceptable standard.
Ricardo Augusto Moraes Ferreira: Bought a JBL headphone on boxing day and stopped working after 40 days. I came back to the store to exchange and they said they can't do anything because are more than 30 days. I called customer service before and they said that the store where I first bought it should be able to replace it. Miss communication between cx service channels and frustration in paying over $80 for something that doesn't work. Never again.

Matt Hoover: Strange place, lacks a friendly greeter and is old and dark, including some areas have a creepy low ceiling. This may not seem like a big deal until you experience it yourself. Creepy! To end your experience the self checkout is reminiscent of herding cattle and the computer shows you a live security feed of yourself on the screen. I could only assume this was implying I was a thief. Guilty until proven innocent. There was no paper bag option and nobody cared to help. I asked if I could use my basket for 30 seconds to go to my car and drop stuff off (as you can exit with a cart) and staff and security said “no way!”. Alas, I placed the basket on the ground and walked out with my arms full, feeling untrusted despite my clean cut image and friendly demeanour. 1 out of 5 stars, would not go back.

Standing on the exit door body shamed my girlfriend when I was not around and then later when I came back to confront them, they refused. I made sure I create a scene big enough that this guy feels ashamed of his act and be embarrassed in the staff too. Then I talked to the manager(name unknown, but bald and white moustache) and he did everything to save his employee and could not answer one simple question of mine which was "Is body shaming tolerated in Walmart or not?". I was told that this concern will reach the store manager and he will take care of it. I would love if appropriate action gets taken.

Yesterday, I went to the Vancouver location after hearing that they had good mattress toppers in stock. However, I was stunned by the degradation of the store: it looked miserable, messy and dirty. All goods are now displayed on the shelves in cardboard boxes. The mattress toppers I was looking for were packaged in a way that allowed people to touch them, which does not meet Canadian health and safety standards. With the food that's sold in the store, I wouldn't be surprised if there were cockroaches hiding in the boxes.Therefore, I do not recommend buying anything at this location nor online.
Joanne Chow: Bought some Great Value Tex Mex cheese there and realized it’s moldy I open it the next day, after I already mixed them in my food. The expiration date is in 3 months away, which mean it’s a storage or supply issue at Walmart.

W W: I feel like the staffs at this location presume everyone is a shoplifter. I have seen people being stopped before they left the stores or asked to see their receipts (random). When they didn't have enough staffs to 'watch' the checkout counters, they would open minimal numbers of checkout counters so causing a long lineup.What disgust me the most is that when you go to self checkout, there is a camera 'recording' your face while you checkout your items and pay. There is absolutely no privacy! Their price is not particular attractive and their produce is not very fresh, I don't see myself going there again if I have other choices.

They were Apple Earpods, supposed to be identical to the stock Apple Earbuds. The headphones I received, when plugged into my phone, were recognized as beatz headphones and required the use of my phones bluetooth even though they were plugged in through a wire. This is sketchy and misleading that they would sell these as iOS certified. After hours of time wasted contacting the support teams, I'm required to travel an hour back to Walmart to return them - INSTEAD of them just doing a proper quality check before selling these garbage electronics.Doubt I will receive a full refund. I will not trust shopping online at Walmart in the future.

Then after I finished checking out, I was about to leave Walmart; then this lady (the same one) came up to me and asked, “Did you pay for this?” I was like shocked, and I was a regular customer as well.Walmart! Karolina Forrest: Would give this store a zero rating. I dropped in with my reusable bag to grab soap, toothpaste, deodorant and while there I grabbed a dress and shorts for my daughter (age 11). I was wearing a t-shirt ( no jacket), fitted jeans with my wallet and phone in the back pocket. You might be wondering why I am being so specific.....well this is to paint a picture that I did not have a backpack, purse, shawl, sweater, or jacket with me. While I was walking to the register with my items in my one reusable bag I was loudly yelled at by a tall, slender built person, wearing plastic see-through gloves, a black hoodie, with short black hair. I later learned that this person was undercover security and their name. The person yelled "do you need help". I responded "no" the person came towards me and said " yes you do, you need a cart, you can't use your reusable bag". One since when is using a reusable wrong (no signage no policy prohibiting this) and two I was walking to the register. I responded " I don't need a cart I'm going to check out" (this was in eyeline of the register). The person then said something like "oh yeah then keep walk" while ushering me to the front of the store. She then proceeded to stare at me and follow me to checkout. Upon reaching the register the person stood in close proximity and watched me. I asked the check out clerk who the person watching me was as this whole thing made me extremely uncomfortable. The clerk stated that the person staring was security. I asked the clerk to call the manager and then I turned to the security person and asked her if she would like to check my pockets and double check my bag ensuring that it was empty. Her response was something like "you keep doing what your doing". The main issue is that this person was rude, abrasive, unapologetic for her miss read of the situation, and never identified herself as security or why she was engaging with me in the first place. The public humiliation was not only uncalled for and unacceptable but will have a lasting effect on my mental health. After paying I spoke to the manager who like the clerk was kind and understanding. Unfortunately, theft is an issue at the store but this is no excuse for rude, abrasive, intimidating and insulting behaviour. The real unfortunate part of the story is that I am a person with anxiety. This situation left me shaking while I was in the store and having an anxiety attack in the parking lot after. While this person will likely go on to work in this store behaving like this towards others, I will be suffering the consequences of this interaction for months to come. Not only will I never return to this Walmart location (even though it is the closest to my home), I will likely struggle with anxiety everytime I will need to go into any store period. If shopping at this Walmart be aware this kind of interaction happened, hopefully this review will help someone else avoid the humiliation and anxiety I have had to suffer through today.

Taylor Kirkland: We initially parked on the second level because the first was full, only to find the elevator is not working (no out of order sign either). We packed our baby back into the car and parked on the third level as it has direct access to Walmart. When entering we were told that the doors were closing and we would not be able to exit the way we came in. When we brought up the issue of the lack of elevator we were told security was looking into it by an older gentlemen at the door. Roughly 10 minutes later we return to find the elevator still out of order and we’re told we needed to exit out the main doors on the ground level. Which means we would have had to walk up 3 flights of stairs, with our stroller, baby and a box of diapers and wipes to get to our car. All while I am 8 months pregnant!! How is it okay to block the only accessible access to the upper levels on the parking lot?! The older gentlemen was extremely rude and either unwilling or incapable of helping whatsoever. The manager was full of nothing but excuses and couldn’t see the problem that closing the doors caused, just wanted to blame the mall for the lack of elevator. We weren’t the only ones there who were facing the same problem and highly doubt the issue was escalated and dealt with. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. on a side note, I overheard the older gentlemen say to a couple who was asking if the checkouts were open “do you not see the red light, what do you think red means”
King Ma: This branch is huge with two seperate floor. Clean and well organized inside the store. Self checkout station is great. More efficient and fast. Close to SkyTrain and bus station, also it connects to access to the mall, so convenient.
Meredith Kemp: A young man at the till. Didn’t look at me didn’t talk to me and didn’t even put my things on the convorbelt after scanning. My yogurts were sitting in front of him next to the scanner. With plexiglass and card machine impossible for me to reach around and grab. I was stretching and grabbing them and said, ‘Can you help me.’ He just looked at me and said ‘What’. I guess this is why I always do self check out.

Not overcrowded, huge well organized store, tons of parking .. I try to stop by here on my way home as it is close to the hwy still.Only thing lacking are Asian products compared to the Richmond Alderbridge location.

It was clean and pretty empty when I was there, ( Monday 10am) so was nice to shop not all congested with people. I can't remember my cashier's name, but she was super awesome, she was selling donuts and I happily bought some off of her. Because yum yum who doesn't love donuts?! And she's a lovely person.
Cole Davis: This walmart is relatively quiet compared to others, with far less people too. Traffic is crazy as usual especially during rush hour, 2-5pm. Staff are ok, but as some mentioned the self checkout workers are borderline glaring at you. Very organized and clean walmart though, just an inconvenient location.
John K: They carry a wide variety of products which is convenient for a one stop shop and staff are generally helpful when you have questions. I like their self checkout system because it's not very finicky and they have a lot of stations available.Cleanliness at the store could be better. More often than not they have spilled products in several aisles. They have garbage bins outside that are almost always overflowing with garbage.They almost never have any shopping baskets available which is annoying.

He should know how to work with his commercial partner and get better trained.
Rachel Lawrence: Today at Walmart I had the most wonderful experience with a kind woman named Armita who saw me looking at a box of formula and could tell I needed a hand. She was kind enough to ask if she could help me carry the heavy box to the cashier. Oh well, welcome to Canada.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Years past I used to do online orders all the time. Then their online ordering system went wonky and I dropped them like a hot potato.Well things have certainly improved. Decided I needed a whole bunch of stuff, and with the car in the shop, had no way of getting to WM.So I decided to give their online ordering system another try, and am I glad I did. The entire ordering process went smoothly, and the order arrived at my doorstep the next day at 8:00AM!!I plan to make regular use of WM's online ordering system.... I'll even try to have ice-cream delivered.

Paras Sahota: Worst customer service ever. One girl with spectacles but without any name tag checked our grocery items more than two times without explaining any reason behind that. It was such a embarrassment for us because we were harassed by her as other customers were watching us as we were thieves there. Congratulations Walmart Canada. You have now stepped up to the level of Lowe's Canada and Home Depot Canada which have had email receipts for years. It's a miracle. Now if you can get your Walmart Canada app to allow storing copies of these in store receipts in the purchase history like your US Walmart app does then you would be a leader in Canada

Like guys chill out we had everything like bills and most importantly we told them to check cameras. Sim Gill: All their cosmetic ailes are closed off so there is only one entry aisle. There’s also a lot of products that are locked up, which is understandable. But customers shouldn’t have to hunt down a worker to unlock the product. I spent 10 minutes today waiting and looking around for someone to attend to the cosmetics section which is so unreasonable. There should be buttons for help or someone placed within that section.

Hazel Sommer: Wasted my time to go here and be denied of service. It's clear in their website that they do perm and it's also in their google reviews. I also phoned in to confirm and announce my visit but when I got there, the hairdresser told me that they do not do perm and don't want to do it on my hair. What the heck, my hair is all natural and I never had it done before so this is not damaged. Felt like I experienced racism.

The first time I went to get a perm, just after applying the solution, I received a call from my child's school saying that she was sick and asked me to pick her up. Sean immediately rinsed off the solution and dried my hair without charging me. Sean now also cuts my 12 year old daughter's hair and gives her curly style that she always wants.
