Eton College Canada: what do users think?
Becky Vu: I’m currently a student enrolling in the flight attendant course and I’m really enjoying it so far. My instructor Deepa Sagar is an amazing instructor, she takes her time to explain every procedure in detail and is extremely patient with us. She’s interactive and makes sure her students are comfortable at all times and teaches us valuable lessons.I’ve learned a lot in the last two weeks and I would highly recommend this course to anyone who’s looking to get into the flight attendending
Maje Abad: Grateful to have studied in Eton College, Vancouver, BC. The Staff and my Instructor Deepa Goel are very supportive and understanding especially for our learning and career goals. They gave us useful and practical tips in the flight attendant preparation program. I highly recommend this school especially to those who wants a career in commercial aviation industry.
Miyu Oya: What I learned in Flight Attendant Preparation Program is very helpful in becoming a flight attendant, and 'm satisfied with that. However, if I have to say one of the points that is not good, the content was not enough for the class hours even though the instructors are very nice.
Kathleen Valeroso: Currently studying FAPP and learning a lot about aviation, I'm happy to have Deepa Goel as my instructor she teaches so well and always makes sure that we understand the lesson.
abc: The classes are pretty good; my teacher always gives us presentation opportunities and enough education. What I hate most is the management. They don't give us a schedule until the first day of the semester although we've been asking for the schedule for a week. I didn't know that I have afternoon classes until today; which is the first day of the semester. Work on management and give enough info to all the students, please. That's the main part of the office job and it's not functioning at all.Edit; What a collapsed management. PLZ DO YOUR WORK, OFFICE PPL. Update the ampeducator. How do I know I am supposed to have classes if it's not updated.Their management is awful recently. It seems like they don’t even know how to reply back to students’ email. This school is only giving us frustration, just avoid spending so much money here. Trust me.
Heather Pace: I absolutely loved the program and would highly recommend it to anyone who is wanting to become a flight attendant. Joy is an incredible instructor. She makes learning fun and entertaining with all of her flying stories. I like that the program covers every single aspect of the job from customer service to how to prepare for the interviews, to safety, plus a basic history of aviation, procedures, and much more. I feel confident and ready to apply for a job.
Sharni Kc: Eton College canada is currently offering many online courses due to CV. The physical college itself is in downtown Vancouver near the sea and science centre. A train station is also at a walking distance. Eateries n Starbucks too. A very convenient location but courses are conducted online for now. They have partnership with universities in a few many countries abroad too. More on the way. Please check Eton College website for details.
Hannah Romano: If you're looking for a school in business ad, travel and tourism, hospitality management and flight attendant preparation program then Eton college is the perfect school for you. I'm currently taking up hospitality management and flight attendant preparation program, so far it has been a wonderful experience. They have amazing instructors and friendly faculty staff which made it easy for the students to focus and learn.
Camille Rhexene: I’m currently a student here and the instructors are wonderful and friendly!
Megan Taylor: I’m currently enrolled in the Flight Attendant Preparation program, and so far it has been a wonderful experience!
Li Michael: This place is sucks!!! after I paid the registration fee and everything they’ve been asking me if I m capable of taking the course and then they said that Did not pass the entrance exam so I clearly asked them to return my money back but they Refused to return my money back $250 plus $100 and then if I’m not qualified or Fitted to the cours that I have chosen they have to return my money back
Zaya Roma: Exactly what bill said below. I "studied" here 3 years ago, it was the most expensive waste of time of my entire life. Still paying back student loans for a Diploma which is completely meaningless. They are not there to "teach" to you anything, they are strictly a business (in disguise as a school) looking to scam money out of (mostly international) students.
Eileen Zhang: It is too expensive!
K Crosby: Very unorganized & untruthful school. Rude, condescending instructors hired from Craigslist. A favouritism hierarchy is placed on students. Great for international students however, who dont have to do a practicum to graduate. School states they are in it to help students, when only want the tuition (plus tge extras tgey charge you in cash through the year)
Anonymous Anonymous: Everything has a price, you cant eat in class, with projects you have to buy all your material. everything is common sense. expensive school. I personally did not like the school.

Canadian Tourism College: what do users think?
J K: Paid waaay too much just so the instructor could read to us from a book. Not worth it!
Jason Arnold: My wife and I were very disappointed in this collage. They certainly did not put our daughters best interests in mind.Spending thousands of dollars just so that our daughter could do her practicum cleaning rooms in a hotel. That is not tourism. We had much higher expectations.I would recommend looking for a more creditable collage to invest your money in.From one parent to another.
Queen 62x: i just recently got admitted and what i could say is that the staffs were very approachable, great programs and courses for those who are interested in the travel and tourism industry with a reasonable tuition fee. definitely recommendable
Rafaela Jacqueline: Edit: How am I supposed to contact you? There's no email address on the website. You have all my information.Absolutely shameless "director" who charged students over 600$ in "cancellation fees" because the school was unable to provide jobs in the industry. Constantly used the global pandemic to their advantage. I paid 4000$ for a co-op and was sent the EXACT same jobs that were listed on Indeed for FREE.I asked the director repeatedly, she never acknowledge or responded to my question, yet had the nerve to say "as I've already said a few times" because she kept repeating the same policy that was written before Covid.Everything about this school is crooked; have to pay 200$ for a manual that you have to return ? "Expert" teachers who copy and paste their exam questions from online quizzes? 300$ for a uniform made out of the cheapest polyester? Never got a single piece of paper or work back with a feedback or explanation, all you see is your grade online.Teacher will give the same grade to students who did absolute nothing in a project as the student who put in hard work. Teacher didn't even grade on content, only made comments about the font and spacing of an assignment.Apparently the "Business Management" part of the program referrers to them teaching you how to use Word and Outlook. Unbelievable.I was contacted by the school asking for pictures for social media after I already told them I was not working in the industry. Director will interrupt classes to make sure everyone has their uniforms on nicely, yet can't be bothered to set up a simple "out of office" email response. Basic professional emailing etiquette. I wish I never signed up for this joke of a "school". If you want a legitimate and serious education, avoid this "college" at all costs.Enjoy paying off 20K for coloring maps and making PowerPoints.
aunjanue reyes: I am writing this on my very last day of being a CTC student. The process of applying to the program can be done so quickly. If you made up your mind, I recommend applying right away because seats can go fast for this course and I believe because of the great instructor we have, Mrs. Christina. You will be enlightened through out this course, you feel feel empowered because you will have to dress like a Flight Attendant (Blazer,Knee length skirt, the shirt underneath has to be white and it has to have a collar) etc. Given the time of 3 months only, don’t fret because your brains will be filled with information you will need to pursue your dream job, it’s very fast pace but she gives you plenty of time to do your homework, projects etc. so use it wisely!❤️ I would definitely recommend taking the Flight attendant- Diploma course with Mrs. Christina.
Samantha luong: Studying at CTC really open up the door to the tourism industry, the college not only teaches me the knowledge and skills necessary to be in the industry. The work experience provided also gives me a hands on usage of all the things I have learn in class. I would definitely recommend CTC to those who are interested to learn about travel and tourism!
Ana Caroline Silva Freitas: I am studying Travel and Tourism Business Management and it has been great so far. All subjects are very interesting and really linked to the job market, making the course very complete. Christiane is a great teacher, who transmits the contents in an accurate and light way, making the classes very pleasant. I recommend the course to everyone who wants to pursue a career in the tourism industry.
Megan Anderson: I recently graduated with my Flight Attendant diploma and couldn’t have picked a better college to go through! Canadian Tourism College is phenomenal! Application process was easy, and I had access to any help I needed! My instructor was absolutely amazing! 10/10 recommend!
Clara Jankowiak: I cannot recommend CTC enough to anyone who is interested in or pursuing a career in tourism. I took the Flight Attendant Diploma Program and can say with confidence that this course has prepared me professionally and with the foundational knowledge to pursue my career as a flight attendant. I absolutely loved my wonderful instructor, Christina. Christina is very invested in the growth of her students and her passion for aviation flows into her engaging teaching style. I did not expect to be challenged as much as I was, however I have gained so many life skills through this program that have inspired me to challenge myself in my future educational pursuits. Christina and the CTC team have done a phenomenal job adapting the curriculum to the online platform. Thank you CTC!
farnoush fm: Friendly staff and very competent instructors. But please make sure that your advisor has enough information at the consultation session. I had applied for hospitality course and my advisor ensured me **I could pick up my co-op at any one of my favorite hotels on his list.** But finally I figured out that there was no guarantee to do my co-op at a hotel. Doing a co-op at a hotel without being interviewed first, could be a good opportunity for anyone who is seeking for an experience in hospitality industry. That turned out to be frustrating.
Teng Youngs: Good
Adrian Arvin Guray: Perfect school for those who wanted to take travel and tourism, hospitality and flight attendant program.
vanessa blake: My time spent at CTC changed me in many ways! I learned how to persent myself professionally, which has guided into my new career. My instructor gave me many amazing opportunities in and out of class to practice my interview skills. The training my classmates and I received have given us the tools to further ourselves in the professional working world. I have also gained a great group of life long friends.
Nathan Elander: The small class sizes and amazing instructors and friendly staff really made it easy for me to focus and learn. I have been so successful in graduating and becoming a Flight Attendant! THANK YOU CTC! :D

Therese Aired: Terrible place, passed by once and the employees are basically just like a body to fill the roster and work as a slave. The director is rudely yelling and a instructor is bragging. Stay away!
Colton Cox: Its amazing. Great people. Something to look into for hospitality management courses. Im having a blast !
david guevara giraldo: My experience at this college was really great since my teacher greg help me to improve my English skills such as writing, listening, reading and speaking. So the help of greg allowed me to achieve the result of 6.5 on my ielts test
Tamara Shtanova: IELTS test centre operated from Montreal so expect worst communication ever, disorganised, money-making machine. Some businesses should not be allowed to run tests like this.

LaSalle College Vancouver: what do users think?
Komalpreet Kaur: Really disappointing experience with this college. I’m trying to call them from last week neither they are answering my call properly ,nor they are replying to my any mail😵.
Eva Braam: Good food, and absolutely outstanding hosting 10/10
Sofia Prado: Really disappointing experience. They sell the idea of preparing students for outside opportunities and a chance to network with industry which was never true. 7 months prior to graduation, and many students (including myself) are unemployed. Unfair that they only care about the money. I never felt a supportive environment during my studies neither after graduation.
jagraj singh 0190: Its really awesome all the staff is very respectful and helps me in very polite way
Debs WC: Their agent on WhatsApp is very rude, I am only asking just to make sure that everything I need to know before applying is correct, but the person got annoyed by my questions. Very unprofessional. Take down your WhatsApp if you do not want questions and inquiries from future applicants.
Daljeet Singh: Scam college
nhạc sàn hay: Never recommend this school for fashion design studying. This school will put u in a passive position that u have to cope with quick and superficial lectures with unreasonable tuition fees.
Duaa Yamani: I am a fashion student and would like to mention about our best draping teacher(Julia) she is knowledgeable, professional and always trying to teach us different techniques and ways to do creative fashionThank you JuliaAlso would like to mention about the receptionist and person who works in the book store are super friendly and always available to helpThank you
Alex Alex: By far, the best media arts and design school!

JINFENG ZHANG: Can I see iKun here?
gustavo sdjgjsdfjd: It’s supposed to be open during sundays but they are very often opening late and not telling students, i just have sundays for working on most of my assignments and this does not help at all.
AJ Maybe: Great school! Teachers are friendly and open to help, and I find the environment quite welcoming.
madison jarvis: Great school if your looking for smaller class sizes and one-on-one learning experience.Starbucks is just across the street which is great when I need an energy-boost.I am half way through my Architecture and Interior Design Degree, and from my experience what I can say is you will get what you put into it.If you are a hard worker and you strive for success... that will be recognized amongst the instructors and they will do everything and anything to help.If you want to do the bare minimum and "get by" well then, sorry... this isn't the industry for you because its very competitive and requires hard work, haha.If you're the kind of person who has leadership qualities and would like to be involved in the student life on campus then I recommend that you join the Student Representative Committee. When I was reading through the previous comments from 2+ years ago (this was before my time), I can honestly say that from my experience I can't agree or relate to anything that those people were concerned about. The school switched ownership years ago and as a result many things have improved.

ELVANDO WIJAYA: I really love LCC, the teachers really helpful. Highly recommend :)
K S: I took an IBMS Co-up class here and I finished six-month study term class here. The teachers and office staff were really really sweet and nice! If anyone asks me english class or co-op program, then I highly recommend this school. Above all, the teachers were very kind. I felt scared when I first entered school. But they were kind and generous to me and were glad to ask questions. So I developed little by little. Their support enabled me to do more on my own. (Getting a job, communicating with people, improving work skills.)I really really Thanks to LCC :) Thank you, all!IBMS
Dasha Nikiforova: This place to study is truly amazing.
Yazmin Muro Super Foods: Excelente escuela
rosana darc: Melhor escola de inglês de Vancouver. Pesquisei bastante e experimentei: melhor custo benefício! Obrigada a todos os funcionários muito solícitos e competentes. Obrigada especial a Carol🙏🏻
Thiago Meneses Vieira: I am beyond grateful for my experience at LCC English School. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported by all the staff, especially my teachers, Ljerka, Victor, and Ryan. They are simply the best! Their passion for teaching, a wealth of knowledge, and engaging teaching methods have significantly helped me improve my English skills. The classes are dynamic and interactive. The English lessons were the cheapest I found in Vancouver, Canada.LCC's supportive and inclusive atmosphere has made it a truly remarkable experience. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their English language skills. Thank you, Ljerka, Victor, Ryan, and all the staff at LCC English School, for making my experience unforgettable!
Mariana Fernanda Mendez: I am a CO-OP student at LCC and I am very grateful to find LCC CO-OP programs, thanks to it I was able to improve my professional english skills and it also allowed me to find a job in Canada. Professional teachers, friendly atmosphere with a mix of different nationalities and ages. A very friendly staff in the office if you need help in your own language, also with very affordable prices.
Juan Hector Torres Garcia: Me fue Recomendado, llamaremos para solicitar información
carolpx2: This is one of the best schools we know in Vancouver. The teachers teach using authentic text and with care. They allow students to learn and don't allow us to feel embarrassed for making mistakes. Plus the cost x quality is the best point of the school.
J Shum: I have recently completed the TESOL Diploma with Practicum and it was the best experience. The teachers and staff were very kind and helpful. The program would definitely help to advance as an ESL teacher. Highly recommended!
Asia Martynenko: Great school, sooo amazing teachers! ❤️ All of the teachers are friendly, so memorable experience. Excellent knowledge, good program.I would recommend the Business administration diploma program to anyone who likes this.I got my first job in Canada in one month after graduation.
rodro11111: I love the new Website! It looks cleaner, very user friendly and easy to understand.
Isabel Rodriguez: I've had the best experience at LCC. I took the TESOL diploma in 2015. I started my teaching practice right after I finished it and I couldn't be happier and more grateful. All the instructors were great, very passionate and prepared. I learned a lot from all of them. I am still in touch with some of them, they are very friendly and always gave me great advice and feedback! Thanks to them I accomplished my dream of teaching and I still am teaching since then. I love what I do, thanks to how much they inspired me.
Wai Kit Lam: This is a great echo with all the amazing teachers and content. The teacher in school, who teaches the Business Diploma, and intensive English class, is one of the best teachers I have ever met in my whole life. His name is Jason Florczak! Jason’s teaching style is caring and thoughtful on the students' side. He always teaches a concept from simple and easy to advance and deeply. This can take care of the different levels of students in one class and way easier to learn something new. Highly recommended and completely worth it!
Youngmi Cha: Most of all, the price is very reasonable. Also, the teachers are friendly and kind. In my case, I met the best English teacher in my life at LCC. She was energetic in the class and taught passionately, so her class was always fun. And I met many wonderful people in my class too. We became friends, and we have still got in touch.
Fellipe Takahashi Grigoriadis: Amazing teachers and staff, a great starting point to improve your English, or, if you want to do a a co op program here you can get more experience on a Canadian job.
바람산들: Great teachers, education programs with nice price and nice social events ❤
david gonzalez: It was a really great experience to have been part of LCC, the teachers and the rest of the LCC team were professional as expected and very friendly, definitely worth it the time I spent in this program and for sure I would recommend the school 100%.
jy: I just graduated and got diploma. It was so nice school days. I recommend because of these reasons.1. Friendly teachers and staff. There are many staff from different country. So I was able to contact with my language and easily enroll. Also teachers are fromm various countries so they can understand our situation.2. Various people of various countries and ages. I meet 20~50 year ages people from Korea, Japan, China, Mexico, Pilipins, Vietnam etc. I was surprised they said I am young! I'm mid 30s haha. I can meet and hear various life experience story. And they study hard and do their best to do homework. I learned a lot from this class.3. Convenient location. 3 minutes walk from Skytran station and close with downtown. There are fastfood, coffee shop and restaurant near school.4. Reasonable price!! My friend said this is most low price in Vancouver. So I highly recommend!!
Rini Mariani: Strongly recommended LCC not only for learning but this college like family for me, from our teachers, staffs and our classmates.Sukses selalu di masa depan.-
Emily Wiebe: Quality, caring teachers in the TESOL Diploma program really made the difference for me. Thank you!

University Canada West: what do users think?
Thandiwe Zimba: I am greatful to have been accepted for MBA at UCW. I thank Larissa Nerves my student advisor who has been so helpful with my admission process. It is like having a sister helping you, quick response and explaining things in details. The Team you are the best. Thumbs up!
Raju Tamang: I still don't understand how come this university smaller than a town house is consider as university.
Kourosh ramezanian: Responding to emails is supper slow
Sushil Gaurav: It was great experience to share, specially Priyanka Vatti (one of the official from UCW) who helped me every time i needed and now i got my visa. I would like to thank her again when I'll meet her at campus.
Birdaman Singh: 👍
Sophia Sandel: The worst experience I have ever had in a University. Staff doesn’t care about students, and most of the time are in a bad mood. Most teachers only read PowerPoint slides, and academic advising staff always contradicts each other. If you are planning to come to Vancouver to study, please look for other University. I wish I have read real comments about here before paying my tuition.
Hervé WAGOUM: So beautiful place to be
Osemudiamen idemudia: The experience has been great. Friendly advisors, easy to contact also very helpfully and understanding.
Ahmad Majidi: It has been two months since I requested a meeting with the university officials due to a problem in the contract, but no one is answering me. I think this university has no leader. Unfortunately, only this university knows money and does not care about students. I have to file a complaint against this university. Choose a university that respects you.
Yashoda Rani: University is really good.
carol Sandhu: The Finance Department staff are very unknowledgeable and unhelpful.
Cecile Pauline Cruspero: As a student, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at university. The academic environment is stimulating and challenging, and the professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. The campus offers a range of resources and opportunities, from research facilities to student organizations, that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. Overall, my university experience has been rewarding and has prepared me well for the future.
Ishwar Singh: Fabulous
Diana Romero: As a student, I love UCW because it has allowed me to grow, meet people and, of course, learn everything about business administration with the MBA. I would like to run a company in the future, and I would like to apply all the knowledge that I have gotten from here to have a better income and quality of life.
Gihan Chathura: Good campus
Arvind Cv: I'm worried about the negetive reviews that the university demanding extra fees by few students and family members.Ucw team has been replying to all 5 star reviews that now looks self made.I'm sure that they wouldn't miss the negetive reviews that affects the enrollments. Request the UCW Management to respond to the negetive reviews as well in an elaborated manner to understand this issue from both the sides. Thanks.
Nasser: I really appreciate my experience at UCW, especially the fast and clear response to enquiries. I'm grateful to my student support advisor Swati Gandham, for her guidance, friendly attitude and for being so helpful with my concerns during the admission process.
Navindu Sri Deshan Subusinghe: Worst University ever don’t go there for any ProgrammeThey are only after Money They don’t care about our education only the MoneyWorst Place ever
Osarugue Usoh: Priyanka, You are a 5 star general in student affairs. My encounter with you during the admission process is quite phenomenon. quite relentless to seeing things work out. you are certainly the best.
Mbanefo Cosmas: I really had an amazing experience and great response from PRIYANKA VATTI she made everything go seamlessly
Augusto O.: Dear future international students considering the University Canada West (UCW),I recently completed the MBA course at UCW, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst learning experiences in my life. While the professors were extremely good, the management of the university was the worst service I have ever experienced, which is ironic considering it is a management school. One major issue I faced was that every term, classes would switch professors or even schedule after enrollment. The enrollment process was also quite shady, as some students were given priority registration without any disclosure of how they deserved it. It was especially frustrating to see students from some preferred nationalities always getting their way with their buddies working at enrollment, which made it difficult for students not from that specific group to enroll in their desired classes fairly.Another major issue was the university's tolerance for slackers. In group projects, it was not uncommon for one or two members to contribute significantly less than others, yet everyone received the same grade. The university also never graded anyone over 80%, which made it difficult to receive genuine feedback on really good work.Furthermore, once I graduated, I had to wait forever for the necessary documents. The university seemed to turn a blind eye to this issue, and I had to exchange emails with them for an extended period since there was no phone number to speak to a person.Lastly, the learning itself was very superficial. It seemed like the course was more like a bachelor's in administration. 60% of the course content was already covered in a few administration courses in my bachelor's, even though I am an Engineer. I also had to take the "pre-MBA," which cost an extra 20% of the course value, even though I noticed various BBA students had much worse knowledge of the basics but never had to take the "pre-MBA." Unfortunately, it felt like the university was creating rules and pushing students around.I know I am not the only one with these issues, and I fear that some day, some unlucky student will hurt themselves over all these problems that UCW just doesn't seem to care about. Therefore, if you are an international student considering coming to Canada, please do your research thoroughly. UCW may end up being a burden on your mental health, so I advise you to consider other options.I hope this review helps you make an informed decision.Editing to address the reply:Priority is given to certain students, the registering hours vary and no one knows based on what. It was based on merit (GPA) for a single term, but now there is a system and no one knows how it works, as they refuse to disclose it.Many students have achieved grades higher than 80% - many is a VERY broad term. I will leave you guys with this: I've had a professor tell me my project was the best in class, he only had one very small suggestion for the project. Then he showed me the grade, it was 76. And this is not a single case, this happened over and over, with different classes and professors. I still don't understand how a nearly perfect project deserves only 76, but then again, I've heard from professors that they cannot have the class average above a certain value, or they get into trouble with management. The "specific timeline" for diplomas is not respected. They will take weeks or months more and will refuse to provide a reasonable solution (or charge extra for documents you never received). The preparatory program will be mandatory for people with over 5 years experience in the market but who are engineers - It is a cash grab. I see no sensible explanation why I had to take the course and STILL help various colleagues fresh out of a BBA course (so they did not need the preparatory course) how to do accounting on Excel.Unfortunately, the values for them are so switched up, they cannot even understand what is wrong. They also do not even address half the issues I have mentioned. And their suggestions to discuss further is (surprise) an email, no phone number.

Sprott Shaw College East Vancouver: what do users think?
Rylen Moore: This campus is an absolute dumpster fire. The instructors and administration are abrasive, power-tripping, rude, and completely unhelpful. They will gladly reprimand you in front of others for minor infractions (for example: being a few minutes late to class due to public transit delays), ask you to leave the program if you are falling behind, cite “professionalism” as the reason for their bullying behaviour but completely lack any themselves, and keep your money in the process. The ONLY redeeming instructor in the nursing program is Becky Wyatt - she is an angel with a good heart and an amazing way of teaching. The rest are horrible and will NOT support you or have your best interests in mind.
Joy Flor: I finished my HCAP program in 2022 and got my registry number within a week of application. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach of SprottShaw College in East Van, I finished my program on time and landed a good job immediately. I got hired asap and now work as a regular registered HCA in BC.
Machi Capitle: Very friendly, helpful, supportive and accommodating staffs. Very beautiful location overseeing the mountains and very close to Main Street Skytrain (5 minutes walk). Campus' atmosphere is very conducive to learning. EA instructor was amazing and very considerate. Everyone is treated fairly. :)
Irene Kim: I enrolled in Education Assistant program at Sprottshaw college east Vancouver campus, and it has been a life changing experienced . Ms. Jas, my instructor, has been amazing. She is knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help me and students succeed .Everyday in class is so much fun. Ms. Jas has created a positive and inclusive learning environment ,so everyone feels welcome and supported.I highly recommend Sprottshaw college and Instructor Jas for anyone interested in Education Assistant.Thank you for helping me start new chapter in my life!
Pamela Rigo: I love my instructor Ms. Jas Saghera, she's very experienced in her field and she always connecting what we are learning to the real world. Every Monday she's asking us to set 3 goals for that week. Highly Motivational instructor. Good staff, very good school. I recommend it.
Alejandra Arozarena: Sprottshaw is a great place to study! Fast paced and interactive. The Education Assistant program is amazing and really prepares you for the real world.
Mister Pogi: I would like say my two bits on this review: This campus overall was a great experience, but what made it worth while is the opportunity given to me as a career going forward- A Licensed Practical Nurse. No campus or school is perfect, but for the end results you can not ask for anything more :).I would like to say there are some talented and awesome instructors in this campus. To name a few is Daniel P, Kristel D C, Levon, Adimas, Joan.Daniel- Amazing amazing person, extremely talented, and knowledgably in Nursing, very helpful, and very resourceful. Knows how to approach things in different styles and an asset to any organization and Nursing faculty. First person to introduce me to clients and residents. Teaches you techniques and outside of the box thinking. He is very observant, and tell you tips and tricks to make things easier. He shows you real world scenarios and experiences. One important thing, among his students is he builds trust and their confidence, and that goes a long way to keep you calm and positive in the real field. As a leader/instructor you need to demonstrate the same skills you ask of your students, and I believe he is one of the many few who best exemplifies these traits. He knows when to push students and knows when to instruct students and insulate them. He teaches the real world and not just from a textbook.Kristel D C- Amazing person, very knowledgeable, and keen on details. Prepares you for the future and your career. Always cares about your education and puts effort in everything she does and not one bit goes to waste. She has the students attention and respect everytime she speaks. She does not teach for pay she teaches to make nurses and very very good nurses.Levon- Amazing person, very knowledgeable, very good and clear instructions. Creates a good sense of learning. He not only teaches you how to recognize things but teaches you how to respond accordingly.I would like thank the entire faculty. But most importantly to Daniel. Thank you! And Thank you to the rest of the Nursing Faculty.
Yunseok Ahn: It is the best campus! Instructors and staffs are really nice!
Arlene Vee: Sprott Shaw administration has unacceptable professionalism. They cause nothing but unnecessary stress and will gladly take your money, and the governments money.
Naazy Naazy: The worst college to attend to.. do not believe the reviews..The instructors in the LPN program do not teach you..they give you overwhelming amount of information in one class have a quiz the next the day and they expect you do know everything by than. If you ask the instructor for help she will tell you she doesn't have time to go over it. They want you to memorize the class information in 24hours. You get timed for your quizzes and if your not done the program shuts you down and if you'restill working on it the quiz the instructor (Jin) will tell you she doesn't have time to wait and she gets paid to start teaching at a certain time!! I went here due to the circumstances because in the public schools they have an extensive waiting list. If I had a choice I wouldn't even come here . You end up teaching yourself material that a instructor should be teaching you. I am sure I not the only one who has complained about this issue.
Marilou D.: Since we are doing our lesson at home, I cannot really elaborate my opinions, but I can only tell, the staff are really helpful around the office for the couple time I was in the campus and very accommodating. They response on my inquiries via email on time as well as with our instructors.Thank you Sprott Shaw College for giving me this opportunity of changing my career. Another experiences to embark on!
Marelize Van Der Westhuizen: Amazing staff and friendly faces whenever I go to campus. Online classes really help right now especially with limited time to go to class. Instructor and classmates are always friendly and ready to help when needed. Smaller classes makes it easier to ask questions when I need it.
Christa McGregor: I have been enrolled at Sprott Shaw since Spring 2021 and so far I am loving the teachers and admin that I have been involved with. I have received prompt and helpful replies to my inquiries and the online delivery of course content is user friendly and instructors are great!
Catherine Cartwright: Instructor Jin Lee is FANTASTIC!! As a mature student I'm very appreciative to have such an intelligent, clear and thorough teacher with a great sense of humour.
Lucas Almeida: my wife was doing LPN course at this branch specifically. There was so much much foing on in our lives, we did not need problems from school. However, the school decided to pick my wife and say that she needed to do an english test for the government. Even though she had 90% marks, she was doing great. Among all the classmates, among all kinds of people with different accent and cultures, she was the only one picked. They made her life so hard at that particular time. My wife is a great person, calm, responsible, quiet etc. I would never refer this school to anybody. My wife ended up going to CDI. She finished the course with no problem, no harassment. Today she is an LPN. I wonder why they decided to make her life miserable at Sprott Shaw, I dont know. The school even ended up refusing to provide her transcript for the license application. So in my opinion this college is horrable.
Amanda Forsey: Great school. Staff and teachers are friendly and helpful. The programs are informative and relate well to real world situations.
Henry Morato: .The Program is great! The school itself is great! The instructors, other staffs and the director are great people! They are kind and easy to talk to. Easily accessible and they are very considerate to the students. Lots of activities and awesome facilities.Until my time for practicum came, the person I've talked to is not professional. All talk at the start, full of promises, but all lie, even made sarcastic and personal comments pertaining to my goals. Very very bad experience. I'm sorry, but I did have a very bad experience with that person.
michele twemlow: I am so enjoying my time and program (Seta) with Sprott Shaw East Vancouver. The campus is so supportive and we really have a great time with all the events put on for students. The administration staff and teachers are wonderful and very supportive.
Amandah May: I never thought in a million years that I would be back at school. I really "didn't get it" in the past and had lost hope that I would never reach my full potential. I am so glad I decided to look into going back as Sprott Shaw College (East Vancouver Campus) has been such a blessing in my life. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the campus and can't thank the staff enough for being so welcoming, patient and helpful. Britni, Nimfa, Olga, Russ, Lindy and Chelsea have been such wonderful supports for me these past 9 months and I am so grateful for all their help. I would highly recommend the East Vancouver campus as well as Sprott Shaw to anyone wanting to change the course of their lives via education.

CDI College - Vancouver: what do users think?
Omar (Yes`I am Immigrant): No good
Savanah Rose: Worst decision of my life: My storyOn June 28, 2021, I began studies at CDI College Online through Surrey, British Columbia for their Veterinary Health Care Assistant Program. If all went according to plan, I would have received a diploma in approximately 40 weeks. I would have graduated on April 8, 2022. I dream of working in a veterinary clinic alongside other technicians, assistants and veterinary doctors, however, because of CDI College's inability to provide proper education and support, I am now unable to.I withdrew from my program at CDI College on August 26, 2021 due to no instruction, lack of support from instructors and technical teams, and broken course links and textbooks. CDI College was to provide the education and support and failed to do so. While I was studying, I made it very apparent to CDI that there were technical issues that needed to be fixed and they never were. I called CDI many times and there was no answer. Multiple times I demanded the contact information of a CEO or dean and CDI College refused to give me that information. CDI did not take into consideration how these technical issues were affecting my learning. I could not proceed in the course and therefore the program. I waited nearly two weeks for a new instructor to be hired after the current one suddenly quit. By the time two new instructors and a teacher's assistant were hired, course textbooks and links were still broken, so I made my final decision to withdraw from the program. After that, CDI required that I pay $6,289.19 for the amount that I had completed. I completed 6 out of 28 courses in the program, 89 out of 813 hours, which makes up to be 9.13% of the entire program. This means that, according to the Student Enrollment Agreement, CDI is only entitled to “up to 30%” of the tuition money I had paid. However, according to CDI, I attended 19% of the program which isn't the case. I couldn’t complete that amount due to the issues. I brought my concerns to CDI right away after I signed the withdrawal papers. CDI did not answer my questions. It has now been 1 year and 5 months since I have been trying to acquire the tuition funds that I am owed. CDI also broke their own Dispute Policy. CDI has been extremely unhelpful and ignores me and the questions I present to them. After withdrawing from CDI College and not receiving any sort of help from CDI College itself, I have contacted many other outside parties for help on how to deal with the matter. These parties include Better Business Bureau (CDI College ignored my response), Calgary SLA The British Columbia Ombudsman, British Columbia AEST, CBC Marketplace, and multiple lawyers in the Calgary area.On September 1, 2022, I gained the contact information for CDI College Surrey, British Columbia’s Campus Directors, Rishi Karia and Davendier Dhaliwal. I explained my situation many times and it took them over 2 months to come to a resolution that CDI College could refund me $2195.80. I accepted, and now (as of Feb 2023) CDI is withholding this money.I am extremely hurt, frustrated, angry and sad by CDI College’s wrongdoings. All I wanted was to get an education online through CDI College, receive my diploma and become a veterinary assistant. But now I have a student loan sitting on my shoulders that I have absolutely nothing to show for. Every day I think about how CDI College has done me wrong and how I can receive the tuition money back as I’m entitled to it. As I said, it has been over a year since I have been dealing with this issue and still no resolution. CDI College promised me great education to set me up in life but they are doing the opposite of that. I had paid for the education and CDI College failed to provide it to me.If you are thinking of enrolling in CDI College I recommend you take your time and money elsewhere. I have never been so dissatisfied with a company in my life and that says a lot. CDI College should be shut down. They don’t care about your well-being, or your education—as long as they are getting paid it’s okay right? Wrong. This ends now.
avery m: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! CDI is an ABLEIST INSTITUTION that DENIES DISABLED STUDENTS OF THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS. Egregious and appalling! STAY AWAY!!
Robinson Marroquin: The courses are not well planned. They mislead students. Courses are not certified. Do not join.
Lifen Lyu: All they want just your money instead of giving out good education and services.
rbc consult: I deeply regret working for this organization in the past. I apologize to all the clients "students" who were misled and lied to repeatedly. Their programs are not accredited and their work placement rates are not even close to what they claim. Do your research and attend a public school. Seek assistance through your local WorkBC Employment Services Centre to enter a public school... you are far better off taking the extra time to earn certification from a public institution.
Amanda Janzen: Im so incredibly frustrated! I spent alot of money for this school. Finished the program, paid everything, got a student loan, and NEVER GOT MY DIPLOMA! Ive called and emailed and everything! Noone has even responded. Absolutely aweful!
Jessie p: SCAM !!! SCHOOL!!!If I can give this college Less than a one star review I would they are *scam artists* I went for 11 days did orientation them one week and they took 6 grand of my money me when I withdrew !! , they will not answer the phone and will not give student aid a reason as to way they have taken all my money for 11 days I attended , they will not even answer the phones for student aid, they are horrible humans and no respect for people's lives !!
Cayla Mcgladdery: I'm doing CAA4 course and I'm struggling to get started I'm not getting any help no wants to help they dont care there lazy. There lazy people cause they don't wanna see you graduate they just want your money that's all they care about..
Navreet M: Leaving a 5 star review for Roman Ansari!Super enthusiastic and makes you feel ready to take on the world after each conversation!Absolute pleasure speaking to him!
lylan phan: Had a great chat with Roman. Very insightful and gave me a solid outline for my career goals. 👏
Dreamation Designs: I had to give one star but this school deserves -5 starts. STAY FAR AWAY. horrible communication, HUGE STAFF TURN OVER
xlm v: No real textbooks & outdated. Some classes have no textbooks … great instructor, but terrible unrecognized school. Stay away. Admissions sell you a dream … not reality. Fake promises.
Kristian Prieto: What a joke of a school . 🤡They messed up my transcriptsThey won’t provide me my exam vouchers which I’ve paid for (waiting over 7 months )The only time you can get a hold of any of the staff is when you need to make a payment for school , anything else you have to spam them to get a responseThe school tricks people into starting school before people get their student loans . That way you’re forced to pay the school , even if you don’t get accepted . Bad business practicesFartun , is the most incompetent human I’ve ever had the chance to deal with .The revolving door of staff makes this place a nightmare. Everyone hates working here so they end up quitting.I would never recommend this school to anyone.NO physical books , too cheap for Zoom and want you to use Teams instead because it’s free .Stay AWAY from this garbage establishment .No physical classes , no discount on tuition because of this .G A R B A G E
Mohammed James: Stay away if possible! This school does not take good care of your privacy or security! They recently got hacked and all personal information may have been breached. Staff and teachers are really not helpful. Please take your money elsewhere. See photo, Their technology programs are really just more expensive online courses, dont waste your time and money.
Tri To: I graduated my first year of Cyber-Security from this institute and really did not learn anything that I did not already know the Government gave me a scholarship and paid over $20,000.00 to basically get taught how to install a hypervisor and use Windows 10 enterprise and Linux don't go to this school. They lied to me and they are a pathetic joke of an institution.
Alicia Boisselle: STOP. CALLING. ME.I made the mistake of clicking on a Facebook ad for more info on their RMT program. I have received DOZENS of calls and texts asking me to register for their upcoming programs. I keep telling them I am not interested, and to please stop calling me. They all say they'll "make a note on my file" yet HERE WE ARE months later, still getting calls and texts. Yes, I'd still like to become an RMT one day. Will I be doing it at CDI? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
WL: Do not go here you can find a better more professional college. Worst experience in my entire life. Plenty of staff turnover on a regular basis and terrible instructors. Never go here. I replied to the owners response and yet they do not want to reply or hold thier staff accountable for screwing up and misleading students with thier loans. Wasted all this time and money on a college that does not care about the students well-being or future.I was discriminated against because of my mental illness. Director of CDI Joan Vojnic i am disappointed in you for giving me the runaround, not holding your finacial advisors accountable and insulting my intelligence.
Naleen Fernando: Called to get information on a certain program. then I was told I will be get contacted by some person. did not call me on the day of the appointment. asked the manager to address the issue. Manager said he can't do anything about it. Followed it up with the appointment holder didn't even acknowledge the appointment time she made. Asked her when can I received the info. she said "I will send it over when I have time" . Such an unprofessional team wonder how the business still exists.
Simi Lee: I am looking into the Paralegal Program; any one out there has experience about its quality please share with me.Thank you in advance.
Chelsea Noel: Critical:Professionalism,Value
