Callum Bulman: Went here recently to get a fresh pair of running shoes and the service was unparalleled. The shop assistent (Dave) was incredibly helpful, sitting down with my girlfriend and I and explaining the rational and reasoning behind the various shoe designs. He even allowed us to test shoes out on quick 'around the block' jogs to ensure he matched us with the right pair. I'll be going back here for sure when I need to replace this new pair of shoes and I'd recommend other people do the same. If I could give 6 stars for Dave's service, I would.

Jesus Davila: While staff is nice I really cant recommend them. The reason is they sold me Asics tennis shoes and I am size 10-10.5 and according to them I should be size 9.5 because that was the best fit for playing tennis. These shoes cause me a lot of pain when walking and playing tennis there was a day when I could just not walk anymore due to the pain in my arch and foot front. I started thinking I had health related issues and had to buy insoles for the tennis shoes but then I read in some forums that some Asics shoes cause these type of issue and I also think the size is wrong. It is my fault that I did not return them, its been 6 weeks or so since I bought them but I did think I had arthritis or something and it was the shoes themselves.

Annie Park: It’s always interesting to read reviews for a business that has only 5 or 1 star reviews. I have shopped here a few times because it’s very close to my home and the service basically depends on who is working. I have had reasonable help here, nothing exceptional like some of the reviews suggest but I will not be returning here after last time. I was there early on a weekday and there was no one else there. There were three staff working. I was looking for new running caps and was trying a few on while two of them chatted loudly between themselves and a third stood behind the register the whole time. No one said a thing to me the entire time. Good service is so rare in this city but this is just ridiculous when you can buy everything they sell for less elsewhere especially online. Maybe I don’t look like their typically clientele even though I was in full running gear just come from a run. It’s pretty annoying that my neighbourhood is getting filled with more and more businesses that do not feel so neighbourly.

Sam Ferris: DO NOT BUY RUNNING SHOES FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Bought a brand new pair of running shoes. Was told I had two weeks to bring them back for a refund (just don’t wear them outside). They weren’t the right fit. Brought them back. Owner told me that they would only do an in-store credit. Running shoes often do not fit. People often have to bring them back. They were sellable as they hadn’t been used. THE OWNER still told me they would not do a refund. Very bad business. I used to like these guys. I will never go there again. So they can have my credit. ** was told yesterday this location has a bad rep… runners won’t go in here**

Що за дискриминація? Які у нього були критерії, щоб пройти мимо і не пригостити мене? Я відчула неприємний стан( Люди, що стояли - за мною відмовилися! Що це було? Що за зневага? Мені ні потрібно печиво, але чому таке ставлення????Я хочу щоб менеджер магазину розібрався з цим співробітником і вияснив причину його відношення до людей. Вже в магазин ідти бажання не було. Як говориться сервіс починається біля входу.

Mo Mo: My visit yesterday was not pleasant as it used to be, i have to say there is plenty of shoes to choose from, maybe to much at the racks, it’s really hard to find size , they are sorted messy and its hard to reach bottom one unless you have strong knees and you can bend down, yes it was Saturday and store was busy but there is not enough stuff to help you out with models sizes and infos about them ,its hard to recognize working people there , i found them not much different dressed than those at the beach , being more motivated sales persons would bring store stronger status .It’s very difficult to find sale items as stated on website.Left the store with two pairs HokaFinal thoughts: good location, nice choice of shoes but to crowded on shells so be patient while you’re looking for one or asking for help from stuff.

Elizabeth Walker: I took my octogenarian mom here to find her some slip-on clogs as she is getting tired of doing up laces anytime she needs to walk around inside her retirement community, such as going for a meal or social event. She has wide feet so I wanted to take her someplace with a good selection. She also uses a cane so I didn't want her to feel rushed. The service we received at The Right Shoe was absolutely top-notch. Both people who helped us (Emma and Steve) went out of their way to find a good solution for her. They measured her feet and found about four or five options, eventually settling on a pair that she is very pleased with. I was really impressed with their patience, and the selection at the store is incredible! Lots of high quality brands. I will definitely come back here myself when I want new shoes.I wish there was a tipping option on the payment machine because we received wonderful service. My mom was raving about them on the drive home and I know she is excited about her new shoes!

Friendly Heather spent time helping me find a leather all court shoe for my extra wide feet. The lady owner even marked, softened, and stretched the leather shoes to accomodate my bunions at no extra charge. When I came back two days later to pick up and pay for my stretched shoes, I was so pleased with my experience that I asked very friendly Vanda to help me find an extra wide running shoe at an excellent sale deal which she did. Vanda was interested in me as a person and not just a sale. R&R seem to have a lot of friendly staff so I had no wait time nor felt pressure to buy. I now highly recommend R&R.

The day I picked up my new scooter I noticed when I was jumping off since the board is situated quite high my feet were in quite a bit of pain as I was wearing my Jordan 5s at that timeYou would figure because it's a basketball shoe that it wouldn't hurt but I was wrong since it didn't help defend the pain under my feet.I recently got a scooter to get around the city since my physiotherapist and RMT had advices me not to go to the gym or bicycle for a bit since I had to heal some hamstring and some other new injuries I had succumed to since June and some other Injuries since 2004.So I went home I tried my New Balance walking shoes but the cushion wasn't thick enough and the bottom of my feet where still in pain jumping off my scooter.So I did a little research and found this awesome pair by On Running Brand and found the reviews convinced me enough to hop on my scooter and head down to this awesome store in Denman .I was greeted with such an awesome welcome and the salesman .I feel really bad I forgot his name but he's sooo knowledeable and really took the quality time and care to help me out with my purchase and I had such a fun time as well too!Although I do have a great appreciation of many different brands of running shoes, I can say The Running Room was the best quality service I've ever received from a store selling this type of product..even over Sporting Life where I purchased Y-3 shoes for my son.So if you are a consumer such as myself looking for high quality running shoes for not just your sporting needs but also you're medical needs, I definitely will recommend the Running Room!Top quality service is what you will receive here gaurenteed!Thank you Running Room!!I purchased my shoes here about 1 month ago and since then my feet has been improved with the shock absorbers on these Cloudmonster shoes! James Swan: I'll be honest i expected better, so I'll tell you a little story, i needed a new pair of runner's one day had a look online and found what i wanted and it turns out they had my size in store at the denman running room according to their website great, so i dropped by thinking I'd be picking them up and that would be that.When I got their i asked for my size they checked the computer and said they had it an they'd go grab it from the back, again great a few moments later they appear and say their must've been an error on their computer system and that they don't actually have my size in stock, ok i thought not a problem, they tell me they can order them in and they'll be at the store in a few weeks, after looking on the computer for a little longer they alert me that actually my size would be a custom order (even though it said on their site that they had them in my size IN the store originally) and that I'd have to pay full price for them upfront before even seeing the shoe, a somewhat strange policy but I'm ok with itThey told me they'd be a couple of week's and to come back then to pick them upFast forward a few weeks i go and pick-up my shoe's, take them home bit a few days later they go on sale at another local outfitters for a significant discount, great i thought time to save a few bucks, i check running rooms price match policy and they say they'll price match a product even 10 days after purchaseSo a few days later i wander back down to the running room with the price match price from multiple different retailers, and ask if i could price match my shoe's, at first it's a hard no as apparently there was no manager in that day and apparently they couldn't price match without a manager, ok.... Then after asking why they said they'd call their manager, after about 20 minutes on the phone they told me they couldn't honour the price match as the shoe wasn't exactly the same size as the one listed on the website... Like what.. it's the same colour, width, model but not the same size so it's a no go (for reference I've since purchased the size on sale from the other outfitter, so I'm not even sure what that fuss was about) i also asked about price matches for online retailers after that which was another no go, that's fair enoughOverall just keep this is mind when purchasing from them, it wasn't one of these event's that was the annoyance, it was just all of them strung together with a general feeling of underhandedness that felt entirely unseeded.

Benjamin Roberts: After visiting Nike and New Balance up the street, we were at our wit's end as we hadn't been able to find a suitable product and the service we had received at one of the stores wasn't fantastic. As soon as we entered the store, an associate came over and provided outstanding service. He watched my girlfriend walk up and down the store barefeet to analyze her gate and foot positioning and then provided pros and cons for various different products. In the end, he provided a recommendation for a pair of shoes that matched my girlfriend's relative inexperience in running, but were also fashionable enough for her to wear. I would come back in a heartbeat, I just wish the reps wore name tags so I could provide appropriate shoutouts!

Christian Morris: Not all shoe stores and Running Rooms are the same. I'm glad I visited this one to seek a new pair of runners for my upcoming marathon as the staff were extremely helpful. They were knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, and just generally delightful to speak with. And a special thanks to Matthew in particular for assisting me. I'll be sure to come back here for my next pair of shoes!

Andrew Leonard: I've been out of running for years, after some marathon training led to some nasty shin splints and knee injuries. Two kids and a pandemic later, I'm 50 pounds heavier (narrator: it's actually 75) and am feeling the craving to get out on the road again.I'd previously been into the game when all of the low-profile-barefoot hullabaloo was happening, which probably didn't help my already challenged knees and ankles. I knew that with my extra weight, age, and couch-potatoing that I'd need something completely different to both protect my body and make the sport enjoyable. In those younger days, for whatever reason, I'd associated my pain with gain which isn't a view I have anymore after having crossed into middle age.Anyway. Walked into Running Room after all these years and had a just lovely experience there. Justin was friendly and answered all my questions, bringing out the dozen boxes of shoes and sizes that I wanted to try. He didn't push any particular ethos or brand, just genuinely wanting me to find something that would make me happy and work for me. He was the perfect balance of attentive and space-giving, not hovering around me like a sales vulture or standoffish like someone who didn't want to be there.Long story short, I left happy and confident with what I needed, looking forward to hitting the road with my new gear.
