BC Federation of Labour: what do users think?
Lesley Jack: Your receptionist is a rude person and needs more training.
Veronica J.: Took an online course recently. Tons of info, good case studies to practice and learn from. Also great discussions with teacher and students.
heromoga2000: Bad training center never took training there . Bad administration waited more than a month to get certificate and in the training day no coffee no water . Wait an hour to get some water. Lasy workers

The Union: what do users think?
Dave Mossop: They are permanently closed!
K Mc: Sad that they are closing on Oct. 24thFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Keith Rispin: Fantastic spot to stop for a quick one. Will stop again.
Charles Hostovsky: Great food! As my friend Saud it would be... nice staff
Blake Seeley: I sat at the bar and had the naked fox ipa and the Thai buffalo chicken wings. Bothe the ipa and the wings were amazing. But what the best thing about my time was watching the bartender. I think the name was Frankie. It was literally watching a work of art the amount of intense cocktails and shots they did in such a flawless manner was truly amazing to watch. 10/10 would recommend especially sitting at the bar to watch the show
Audrey T: Updating my review to three stars… the location is fine with nice long tables and a diverse menu of Asian fusion cuisine. I heard the cocktails were amazing but my review of the food is that it’s just mediocre. I got the k town noodles but the 4 prawns were really sad looking and unflavoured and the dish just lacked spice and flavor. I got extra hot sauce to try to redeem it but it just wasn’t worth it.—-Great drinks, pretty good food. The green beans were really good, the vermicelli bowl was just okay - could use a bit more oomph. Make good use of the chili oil and hot sauces!
stephen olson: Good place to try out for food and drink with alot of variety for the food and very mid priced meals as well....in addition to the good energy there is alot of good talking going on with the east side neighborly feel going on with very good access and friendliness.
An Huynh: Delicious food, very clean.
T L: Surprisingly good south east Asian bowls even though it's a pub. Their appies were amazing and loved their green beans
Kameyo Melina: Really nice drinks! And the snacks - cauli wings - we’re a large portion and yummy 🤤
Peter Beier: Excellent meal! Nice selection of local craft beer
T Prentice: Nice outdoor seating area for a bottle of wine
Jeanine Van Leeuwen: Beetje van alles wat uit de Aziatische keuken aan het einde van Chinatown.
The Concierge: Absolutely delicious 1st time experience. Everything we ordered was an explosion of taste. Exceeded ALL expectations! planning to be back Thursday-bringing friends.
Laura M: We were really happy with this choice. The wings were a total standout and all of our noodle bowls completely hot the spot. Good cocktails and service as well. Would definitely come again.
Ally MYC: Came here for wing night and it was absolutely delicious. The wings were perfectly flavourful, not too saucy, a little bit crispy on the outside. I got the hawker Thai. Will definitely come back on Wed. The server was also super nice and kept asking if we were ok.
Cassidy Smith: Kimchi fries and wings were AMAZING!!
Damon Gudaitis: From the outside, The Union looks like it would have standard Vancouver pub fare. The food is actually much more interesting than that. It's a great casual eatery.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
conal cusack: Friendly staff, always quick service and foods tasty and we'll priced.
Mina Delic: The food here is soooo yummy! Sat on the patio on a nice day and had some drinks and snacks and left very happy. Service was great, next time I'll sit inside to see what its like.
Masheed Salehomoum: Great service, delicious food (the kimchi fries are my favourite), and creative cocktails. Highly recommend.

IATSE Local 891: what do users think?
virgil johnson: have been a member in good standing for over 9 years and have been unemployed for the past 8 months and still paying union dues i care for my son full time and have been making due with what i have not sure how union members are protected if this is allowed to go on.
Brendo Productions: This union is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t look after people’s livelihoods with their poor decision making. I wouldn’t recommend joining this union to anyone after knowing they’re just here to take your money and leave you on your own.
Mohammed Saifuddin: I am a permittee/ Accounting with IATSE Local 891.I have knowledge about this company and want to be part of it.Would be great if any one advise who to find a job here
Lorne Marchildon: Easy site to navigate through
V L: I was very disappointed (after doing all the paperwork and testing) that after 3 months of following up, I was finally told my application was rejected. I have experience putting on productions and working as a DOP and the response was "you have no production experience" LOLClearly you need connections just to get this union to even LOOK at your application. Pathetic....
Connor McKenna: The worst
Colleen B: Best decision ever... was to join this union. It is not a "9-5" job.... It can be tough (yet often exhilarating) work ...and is humbling.... to be surrounded by such wildly talented folk.WORK does come in waves...busy (full throttle) and slow (hiatus).(This is the nature of the film industry not this union)
Plum Rova: Thank you for always having your members best interest at heart.
tyler scomazzon: One of the best unions in Vancouver to work For!
Matanumi: Where do I begin...I have to say I love this union, I love being in Film is this is possibly one of the best unions you can be apart of in This city. The Conditions and the pay are exceptionally well for film.the bad news is if you don't know anyone in the industry or your not a professional ass kisser (getting work instead through effort, attitude and gained skill) Expect to be sitting around waiting for work often.I swear people in unions who only know people in union and have experienced union take these jobs way for granted. Being able to keep work cause of WHO they know. Not knowing how hard their industries really can get. Hard advice- you don't REALLY know your industry until you've worked on non-union, independent or small time gigs/companies and jobs, where sometimes in the case of film they don't even get their PAY Never mind getting screwed on overtime hours. Talk about "paying your dues"And that's the hardcore truth, It's actually easier to be in the union and sad it has to be that way... it really screws the hard working people getting their foot in the door. Cause its not who you know, its who you blow. Its said that IATSE 891 is one of the last good unions to be apart of left in this city, This is certainly true if you get to know the right people, otherwise good luck getting in and staying in.
M W: After being a newly recognized member of IATSE 891, in 2013, I was delighted to learn about the volumes of opportunities for training and education through our union. Having been in the business world for over 20 years, I can honestly say that there are very few business and unions that support their members so fairly and who truly care about the members in their "team." Not only are members given the time of their union leaders through phone calls, personal interaction and newsletters and email, but also through regular monthly department meetings where members are encouraged to participate with ideas and suggestions. I am glad and proud to be part of a union that really gives a darn about its members. For me, IATSE 891 is a refreshing and much appreciated way of doing business - Putting People First!

Teamsters Union Local No 155: what do users think?
Andrew Kiernan: Not a great place to work at all. Too much partiality by captains. They have been working with guards they know since years whereas newer group 2 members don't get any work. More than 50 percent group 2 members have been sitting at home since February . In slow time, work should be divided and allocated to everyone rather than a few who get continuous work and other HV to sit at home with any source of income. The union needs to improve their policies. I hope government could step in and bring more productions into BC
Kevin Percival: My friend works here as a security guard and they can't even pay him on time.
John Garnett (Cj7 the super snail): Fantastic place,
Chloe Jane Soucy: Best in BC
Thomas Gowan: All the poor reviews are from people who didn’t grind it out. Never been more grateful for a job. If you wanna make it work, it’ll work. Reap what you sow.
mr m winner: v bad place to work for. captains call only their known security people to work. v less work and too much politics and favorism. they need to do even distribution of work.
R Cf: Extremely capitalist place to work at as transport and catering, security. they dont have enough shows and you have to sit at home expecting call from dispatch. you only get 4 months of work a year until you become member and rest of the year you have to be on EI. Even members dont get enough work. Productions and management must show some employee welfare to movie industry workers who spend 14-15 hours a day working diligently for them thinking that they will get more work in the future. Our families rely on these big productions to give work and they behave like complete capitalists by reducing work. Also too much nepotism and you have to know people to get work. sometimes you are sitting at home even during busy season and not getting work. BC government provides tons of tax benefits to these productions work filming in BC and they reap good savings out of it but despite that they are not employing enough people and not creating good stable jobs. i would rather work in transport for big companies like amazon etc in british columbia and get good benefits, high ot pay and stable hours. done with this capitalist society. Everyone pays karma - what goes around , comes back around. Being raised in usa, i know that whenever there is hindrance to growth in organisations in developed countries.there is always someone getting a cut by removing others from their jobs
R H: If your in as a full member, it is pretty good.If you just started and trying to get full membership, it gonna be tuff.If you trying to get in, good luck. Like many unions, nepotism. So, become friends with a member or you chances will be slim.
Andy S: V lame place to work..takes forever to become a member. As a reserve and permitee , you only get work 4 months in a year. There is no job security. Management is not doing enough to get more productions to BC. Rather work in hotel security, regular trucking -36$ per hr and make 27$ / hr , free food , dont burn your gas , and also make good overtime money. Do this only if you can afford to sit at home for 8 months on e.i. Management needs to find more work for soo many catering , transport and security staff who go unemployed for months. Its inhumane. Union has not increased the wage rate since 2020
Slevin Kelevra: The Teamsters are Strongest brotherhood in British Columbia
Julian Guevara: Outstanding work. Their Security Guards are Top Of The Line.Pay them more than they're worth, they deserve it.- Julian Guevara
Darby Burr: Not overly impressed with the managing of the new film set in Aldergrove beside Jackman wetlands park. After being told on a couple occasions by security I cannot use the public park parking (which is no problem) I found out you have been using park grounds as your own personal driveway for the set where drivers seem to have no problem getting in your space with vehicles as I'm walking down the main trailhead for pedestrians only. Thank you for not including public safety or opinion
Antonio Cozzolino: I’m proud to be a teamsters, I’m proud to say I’m a teamster. Not only did becoming a teamster change my life. By the grace of God It provides a great life for me and my family.
Annu singh: Its a joke when its time for this union to reperent they members, companies can do whatever they want and the union will tell the workers to cut the expense until the union talk to the company, which may take 3 months.
Farkas D: My brothers and sisters, but i have to note that somehow I wish more of us would really be part of this brotherhood. We need to regain Teamster power and respect and that can only happen if more of us rejoin the brotherhood and some of us get a dictionary to find out the definition of Solidarity!
Mike Loehndorf: Always a pleasure
Tigro delNorte: Union proud
Portland4114: Top notch group. Looks after it’s people and always available for questions and assistance. The dispatchers are incredible. They even have a driving simulator that members can brush up on their driving if they feel it’s needed.
Octavian Vintila: Great place to advance in you're career and the family atmosphere is amazing. Blessed to be part of this amazing Union !!!
Jj L: Best union to work for work when you want make up to 110g a year in security.
J. G.: Pretty good location for Vancouver locals.

CCEC Credit Union: what do users think?
L P: Always friendly community minded staff. Wish they didn't have to merge with a larger crew, but the neighbourhood gentrification I am guessing, called for it.
Carme Rodriguez: No very friendly as before , simple thing wait longest
Gonzalo Hormazabal: Wendy, Atilio and Paul has been the best for me everytime. I been a client since 2007 and never had an issue ..
Clover Bella: Worst bank, don’t bother wasting your time or money. Insane monthly charges, no atms, online banking is never reliable. Honestly, have no clue why ppl bank here. They say they help the community, well I’m part of the community and all they do is tax me and all their other members.
Stephen Gregory Nelson: Always quick and friendly
Wendy Dragomir: Very pleasant and helpful for years.
Christina Smith-Ebrahim: This is a ridiculous bank/credit union unless you like feeling like you're living in a developing communist state set back in the 1970s.
Shawn S: Amazing local credit union with friendly staff. They truly invest in the commercial drive community businesses and people.
Gareth Owen: Great local credit unionWe’ve been banking here since foreverMortgage and business loansQuietly efficientLots of brilliant memoriesAnd friendly front end staff as a bonusThey made our small dreams large andWe continue to believe in their ValuesMoving foodWorker and consumer coopsBuying ClubsEast End FoodOrganic GrocerGet LocalFarm to tableFarm FolkThanks fromGarth and Deb 2022
Jay English: RIP OFF BANK! If I could give negative stars I would. Staff is rude, hours are horrible, charges and fees are ridiculous and they have NO ATMS. Account was made for me as a child, otherwise I wouldn’t have one here. No respect for long term clients. My mother who banked here before me also had problems and experienced hefty charges. Don’t bother having a debit card with this bank, unless you’re fine with paying $40-$60 in charges monthly. They cancelled my card because I shopped somewhere that had some fraudulent activity without any notice, no email or phone call. When I went in to get a new card they were trying to charge me $5. I understand if I had lost or damaged my own card, but this was not the case. I understand this is a small bank, but it’s absolutely insane they tried to charge me for a new debit card when the incident was out of my hands. No other bank would charge you for a replacement card if they cancelled it. Do yourselves a favour, Don’t bank here, Take your money else where!
undefined: Have done my financial sitch here for years, n I love that money is put into the local community as well as supporting youth n other areas. Being a co-op means that you need to be a part of any other co-op in order to become a member. That's how it was when I joined years ago. Don't know if it's the same now. TY CCEC for being so great! ✊🏿😁
Therese H: Wonderful group of people at this credit union; I have always received excellent service. I will always be grateful to CCEC for being a helpful credit union. They are a fabulous asset to the community. They helped me when no one else did. Thank you, CCEC!
Montgomery Moving: been banking here since i was a child almost 25 years now some of the staff are even the same its a real safe environment and extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Alan Zisman: Cozy, friendly community credit union. Spanish speaking staff.
Darlene Brookes: Pleasant efficient service.
Jenna van Draanen: Love this credit union!
Rosemary Collins: Staff are rude and unhelpful. The manager doesn't care about service quality and both are quick to blame and insult financial professionals employed by competing financial institutions, rather than assist a long-standing customer with their financial transactions. If you are seeking to move your banking to a credit union, choose another one. I am now seeking to move my banking from this alleged financial institution to another credit union, that has more regard for clients who have been members for more than 20 years.
Allisa Bennett: This Credit Union is truly for its owner/members and its community. I first began establishing my credit rating by getting a loan from CCEC to purchase a bicycle which let me get to a new job far from timely bus routes. Because of the job I could painlessly pay back the loan. The fact that I had received and retired that loan made me eligible for other loans and credit which let me re-establish myself in a new city and a new career. I got the loan in spite of being very ill, nearly homeless and previously unemployed for a period of time. CCEC staff are friendly, accessible, and will go out of their way to help a member, treating me as if I was family. They participate in the economy in a rational thoughtful way, boosting the local economy with every loan & investment. I wish all Credit Unions operated like CCEC!
Kerisma Vere: Been with these wonderful people for over 15years. Always there to help and provide great service.
Michael Barcellona: Buy local!!
Shaira Holman: CCEC is the best credit union and support in our communities, I will never bank anywhere else!
