Bob Hawkins: Dr Leone is in my experience an excellent urologist. He has helped me with bladder problems and with the four kidney stones I had. That demonstrated to me that he is also an excellent surgeon. He is I learned well respected by other urologists. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
Garnik Giloyan: Dr. Leone is a very competent and smart doctor. I had 7.5 mm kidney stone (maybe bigger) and they did lithotripsy procedure/surgery which was successful even tough they told chances are 60% 40%. My kidney stone was very stubborn and did not want to leave my body but eventually after surgery I passed most fragments within a few weeks. People in his office are nice too, sometimes they are super busy but always they make sure to answer all your questions. Thanks for helping me!

Alex Y: Dr Leone was strongly recommended after voicing to my referring doctor that previous practitioners did not leave me with patient-centered experiences.He was compassionate, friendly, and gave me time to speak/tell him my medical history. It was also refreshing to hear him suggest different solutions other than surgery, which he reassured was not indicated.
Dru: Not sure what to say. Waited 45 minutes past my scheduled time for my appointment, to get a less than one minute consultation. He's definitely friendly and personable, but he comes across as disinterested in your situation and looking to see the next guy. Didn't even get a chance to discuss all my issues before he says "take care!" If he took more time, I believe it would be a much better practice.

Ken Gardner: Although I was concerned about the reviews, I went in for my first visit with an open mind. Everything seemed okay. The person at reception was polite and the wait was not long. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and professional.
Philosophically Speaking: Dr. Leone does exactly what doctors are meant to do: he quietly and calmly provides 'expert' context, without either depreciating the individual or the consequence of their 'perceived' condition, or unnecessarily exciting undue anxiety by joining you in it.This is what professional competence looks like! You leave feeling reassured that you now have an expert ally going forward. If you want a 'smiley' friend (because you yourself don't have ethics sufficient to cause good faith towards strangers), you need to reevaluate you priorities.
Kevin Crowe: Dr L. has been my urologist for nearly 10 years after referral for elevated PSA. Always courteous and forthright, he has has successfully maintained a 'watchful waiting' policy and is in no hurry for invasive biopsy or surgery. Ignore the fake bad reviews.

Javad Rahnama: I have had a TURBT surgery and a biopsy session after being diagnosed with aggressive high degree papillary bladder carcinoma. The receptions might be a bit angry, but he is nice and calm. They way he talks and explains the situation is awesome.
Tom Saniqua: How can this doctor be a specialist in BC's health system? He didn't even look at my penis, despite my complaints about a rash. Rudely speaking, dressed and acting like a butcher. He also hurt me during the consult. HE WAS LOOKING AFTER TWO PATIENTS AT THE SAME TIME!!! Dr. Leone paused my appointment to go to another room and I could listen to his conversation with the other patient. He came back to me after a few minutes, resumed from where we stopped, and then paused the consult again to go for the other patient one more time. Sloppy and incomprehensible notes. I will never go back. Unfortunately, I will have to ask my family doctor for a new referral, and it might take months. Go MSP!

Satoshi San: Almost 4 weeks after the ultrasound and the doctor still haven't reviewed the results. The healthcare system is seriously broken. Isn't healthcare supposed to be a #1 priority?This is on top of already rushed first appointment which I was waiting months for.

Dzung Phan Quang: I had two surgeries regarding prostate problems under the excellent hands of Dr. Tran. I am aware he is one of the best urologists in BC, especially careful and responsible treatment, as well as instructed me well how the operation progress, so it made me not scared and I knew I would be better after the operations. After every operation, he came to my bed in a hospital to check carefully the incisions and encouraged me to overcome the pain. Even he supplied me some spared items regarding my surgery in case of an emergency how other paramedic staff can take care me well after checking out from the hospital. Tyler Dawson: I had surgery to laser and break apart two large kidney stones. Dr. Tran performed the surgery. There were no complications and all stones passed without any problems within a week of my surgery. My fear was after the first surgery I may need another surgery if the stones did not pass successfully, luckily everything worked out very well. Now I am pain free thanks to Dr. Tran. Lee Gildemeester: been trying for almost a year just to get my patient questionaire submitted but they are so uncommunicative that I haven't made any progress since my emergency room visit in mid 2021. emails keep getting bounced back, even email addresses that worked last year. No emails listed on their site anymore. they want FAX in 2022? What a useless place. I wonder how many patients literally die while waiting. I feel like I'm getting jerked around here just to waste my time.
hong xu: Dr Hamidizadeh is very arrogant and pushy! He doesn’t take the time to explain anything to you, dude’s always seems to be in a rush. It’s a shame how he just don’t treat patient with sympathy!

I spoke to them on the phone and they tried to give me an appointment in 6 weeks and I refused due to our urgent medical needs and they sent me a text two hours later giving me that appointment time anyway. This is very frustrating when treatments are needed and the doctor does not consider patients health. The front desk does not answer calls or when they do, they tell you they will get back to you. There is no follow up. Do not recommend this place at all.

Donoir Islamov: This type of doctors should be banned! I have waited 4 months for his appointment. 5 minute before appointment he called me its not necessary to do in person, looking at my 1.5 years ago test results. Still I went to his clinic saw him in person, all he tried to ignore me and didn’t listen what issues I had. I have constant pain on my prostate! According to him its normal and he can’t help and tried to do another appointment with different urologist! Its so easy to get cancer through this doctors. He is more butcher than a doctor!

Alexa Adams: Apparently my number was listed as a secondary contact for the person he was trying to reach and when I said I would give the work number of the person he wanted to reach, he got mad at me and became incredibly rude. We’ll be requesting a referral to another urologist who doesn’t have an anger management or patience problem. Don’t raise your voice at patients.

Khaled Nassra: So far, all my interactions with this office have been very unpleasant. There's a troubling hesitation to explain procedures to patients and no information is provided before the doctor makes a prognosis and suggests invasive surgery. When asked about potential risks and help with making a decision, he could not provide any information and was focused on getting his way. Then finally when he agreed to send me information, I didn't hear anything back for days and then got a call to confirm my email which still has not resulted in anything being sent to me.Talking to patients in a highly transactional way as if they're a product is not a good way to start the relationship of trust that a patient and doctor share, and especially not using terms like "I might have to cut you up and take out the kidney". Using simple laypeople terms is one thing, but aggressively talking about surgery like this removes any trust I can have in a doctor.

James Dunbar: Dr. Warner is a great person and a great doctor. Although he is very busy doctor but I never felt rushed when speaking with him. He explained my situation clearly and presented me with my options. He has great bedside manner and was able to alleviate lots of my fears (in a scary situation).He was able to schedule my surgery quickly and everything went very smoothly. All the hospital staff had glowing recommendations about Dr. Warner as well, so that was very encouraging.I would feel completely confident in recommend Dr. Warner to anyone. I feel lucky I got such a great doctor and surgeon.
R Garcia: He didn't even do an exam, just dismissed my situation and said nothing was available to be done. I didn't get to explain anything else, he didn't ask any questions either. I won't get into it here, but this really upset me.He might as well have told me on the phone so I didn't have to make the distant trip out there, and we were done in a few minutes before I stormed out. Urologists really don't know their stuff, and this is the 2nd time I've been let down by one, I guess I have to do my own research. How do these people get licensed?

Mark Atkinson: After seeing other Urologist in White Rock and then being referred to Dr Warner. Wow, he is quick efficient and knows how to diagnose complex issues that other doctors seem to miss. Only downside is he is very busy but that usually shows a great doctor.

Mike B: Dr. Flannigan is great. He's personable, detailed, and patient with explaining care.Unfortunately, I've found arranging appointments difficult. My job involves the public at a moment's notice. While I have regular morning & afternoon breaks, it's impossible to accommodate an hour-long call window. It seems that telehealth has made access to specliasts even more cumbersome.I've ultimately had to go with a different doctor.
Jordan: Horrific . You will learn real fast that your welfare is not of any concern to staff. The outcome and quality of your life is not important but the constant flow of men with prostates to line the pockets of the surgeons is.That the need for bodies for medical students to work on or some study that the Doctors have financial interests in is far more important than youThe whole premise of VPC is not to treat prostate cancer but it is to serve those who profit from it. From the moment you walk in your on the Prostate Conveyor . Your individuality is gone. You are no longer a person but a prostate that can be utilized for profit , teaching and research.They don't tell you that most likely some medical student will be the one actually doing the cutting. You get told their surgeons are the best and their skills are second to none. But no mention of students doing the actual cuttingWhat they really mean is they are a teaching facility and people pay to go through UBC to learn how to pull prostates. That your prostate has some students name on it all ready.The worst of the worst is the Director . Martin Gleave.Do not trust him at all.If you do go there and decide to be treated make sure you take this step.. Read the consent form carefully. In it there will be a little line that says Medical students may take part in your care and treatment or something like that.Cross it out and initial it.. Make sure your are clear that your are to be treated by those who promised they would. There will be push back but don't give in. Stand your ground or you will be sorry the rest of your lifeWhat this allows is for some one in trainee to operate on you. There is no guarantee that your surgeon who promised to do the operation will even stay in the OR.. Just set up the trainee and let them have their way with you. Surgeons prefers to rely on residents to do the grunt work so they can get a fat fee for not getting their hand's dirty. Were as in non teaching facilities the surgeon you signed up for is the surgeon you get. Not some eager resident first time out.I made the dreadful mistake of putting my trust in these people and taking them to be honest.Only on the day of the surgery to find out a brash resident in training was do to the operation. When I went to stop the operation I was assaulted and forced back down on the operating table so I could be used as a teaching tool. Beware ! or better yet go to some other facility if your smart.
Anna K: Dr. Goldenberg himself is a brilliant and caring doctor and helped dad a lot, but the receptionist hung up on my mom mid-conversation when trying to make an appointment for my dad. This happened on August 12, 2019 around 3:30pm. Not cool :(
