Auberge Vancouver Hotel: what do users think?
Yeedah Krasowski: The four stars instead of 5 are because the underground parking was challenging to find and our plane had landed much later than scheduled so after circling the block about 6 times we finally found it. But once inside, our room was beautiful, and it was quiet. The bed is more firm than we are used to but we were exhausted so we slept well. If you're pulling alot of luggage be sure to grab a luggage cart since the hallways here are very narrow. The location is great, walking distance of alot of restaurants and city sights, and the cruise terminal. And central to many day trip sightseeing locations.Rooms: Modern upscale vibe, spacious, clean, quietNearby activities: About 2 blocks from the waterfront, many restaurants, and great photo spots, and the cruise terminal, an easy day trip from many known tourist attractionsWalkability: We walked to dinner at the waterfront and walked about 20 minutes to breakfast in the downtown area, and we walked to our cruise terminal even with alot of luggage
Charlene Gasquoine: The room was very nice, a little small but clean. The bed and the shower was very goodWalkability: Very close to the cruise port and other tourist attractions
Ruth Canham: The hotel’s location is basically perfect. Just a couple blocks from the train station and Canada place. We arrived late, after 21:00, but the receptionist was very courteous and polite. There was no hassle checking in, and we went straight to our room. And what a room! We booked a king corner view suite. The views are stunning, the room spacious and well decorated, shower hot and relaxing, bed and pillows you sink right into, and they even have a nespresso machine to fuel my caffeine addiction. Truly excellent.
Londa Brooks: This place is pure magic. Friendly hotel staff in a central location. Nothing more could be asked forRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bernadhi Widjaja: Amazing hotel, room with top view, great location, so close to Canada Place and Gastown, friendly staff, amazing fitness centre! Loved our time in Vancouver because of Auberge Van hotel! Thanks for letting my family and I stay at yours!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More
Don Kiefer: Great accommodations. Very close to places we want to visit. Cruise terminal very close if a future cruise is on your bucket list.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Michael Levitt: This location would have gotten 5 stars all around but there was some serious dust in areas that need an annual or semi annual dusting schedule at a minimum.Staff was amazing and helpful at all times. Location was great & super easy as we didn't want to rent a car, so trips were a fast Uber or taxi. They have a taxi call button they use, which is similar to other hotels, but the taxi actually shows up unlike other hotels.Great place, will stay again for sure 😀Pool and fitness area is well kept and clean. Great spot for kids so well bring our daughter next time and make a family trip.
Christopher Chan: Luxurious experiencePros-Beautiful view-Clean, spacious room-Swimming PoolCons-Expensive-DryWe stayed at the King suite harbour view room. The view was amazing and such a treat to be able to look out of those giant windows every day. As beautiful as the view was, I wonder if my children would've been just as content with the city view. Speaking of children, I must warn that the windows posed a bit of a safety concern because they could've easily opened the windows and fallen out. But, as long as we were watching them, we all could enjoy the view. The Swimming Pool was made available to people staying at the hotel through the Terminal City Club. It was really nice, as was the gym, squash courts, shower and change rooms. The problem with such a luxurious hotel was that it was expensive. But, the experience that you get somewhat justifies it. I guess it's up to your needs and preferences. I also felt a bit dry while I was there, even though Vancouver itself is fairly humid. Perhaps it was the air quality control within the hotel? We did have to call them for water quite often. Every time, they were quick to respond. We also had an issue with the safe not working. They responded fairly quickly and had it fixed in no time.
April and Mike Page: We stayed at this hotel when we went to a concert. The staff is AMAZING !Very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay there againWalkability: Nice and close to the Theatre
Macatefe G: Habitaciones muy grandes y comodas muy buena ubicacion
Manny V: This hotel is okay, not really 4 stars quality that shown in the web site. I feel like dated hotel just got some facelift with some mismatched furnitures. Our mattress was pretty rough, it has some side of wear and tear. Maybe just a bad luck. That’s reason we don’t stay in one place for more than 3 days eve though we stay in Vancouver for 10 days.
tang xiaofeng: The seagulls outside were a bit noisy at night, and room service lost a small cosmetic item.
Brian Rivers: Great location!!! Walking distance from the water and all sorts of restaurants/bars. The front desk was friendly and helpful. All the facilities were in great shape.Street views from the room were great. The view from the fitness club/pool was amazing! Can be difficult to get from the parking garage to the hotel especially if you have big luggage but only a minor inconvenience.
Francis: I'm a solo traveler and this was perfect. Is located at the harbour front within a 10 min walk to the train. The harbour facing suite was worth the view. The room was clean for the most part and the service was great. It's a small bathroom without a tub but I didn't mind.I found the usual hotel grimy spots but not any worse than a four star hotel. Maybe if I was in a room without the view then this review would have been more critical.Indoor pool, gym, no room service but plenty of food within a very short walking distance.
Hanyan Wang: Stayed March 9 to 11. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful!
Jasmine Leach: We stayed at this hotel twice over the course of a month and both times the front desk staff were excellent with our requests. First time we arrived at 8.30am after a 15 hour flight + train hoping they had a room ready and they were very accommodating. Second time, we asked to store luggage for a week as we were flying to Mexico and had a months worth of winter gear that we were very lucky to leave behind. The bed and pillows were cosy and the rooms were warm. Can't comment regarding parking because we used the train. If I'm going to be picky then the hair dryer needs an upgrade, the A/C was a bit noisy and they don't supply hot chocolate sachets in the rooms :( However we would definitely stay here again as the location is fab and the beds/pillows are good!
t SCH: My new favorite hotel in Vancouver. We stayed last weekend and had the use of the Terminal City club pool and gym. Huge rooms, great location near the waterfront and subway.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Karine Chouinard: Rooms: The king suite was roomy but the mattress was very springy.Walkability: You can walk to many great locations from this hotelFood & drinks: They don't have a restaurant or buffet. You have to leave the hotel to eat.Noteworthy details: The building is not only the hotel. Floors 3 to 7 are offices. 8 to 12 is hotel. The pool is located on the 4th floor and is not reserved for hotel guests. Members of the gym have priority access so it makes it very hard to take a dip in the pool since it has only 4 lanes. They also do not have valet parking.

Hilton Vancouver Downtown: what do users think?
Lyna Zee: We had great nights at Hilton, the location is perfect, close to restaurants and downtown.Service is great, at the front desk and restaurant.Generally the place is amazing with great views. I would recommend it to anyone.Give you 10 star 😍
Kevin Northrup: Very comfortable rooms that are nicely furnished. Very convenient placement. There are many nice coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also love the proximity to the bay.Walkability: Look at a map and you'll see most of what an average person needs may want is on the same block.
Michael T: Great central location, close proximity to many restaurants, attractions & transportation. Service was the highlight, staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was to our satisfactory. Pool/hot tub & gym were good amenities. Highly recommend & would stay again for the service & location.Walkability: Central downtown location
Anthony Fairthorne: Really nice hotel in a great location in the downtown area with so much just a short walk away or the metro station which is only a couple of minutes away. The views from the upper floors are superb. The gym space isn’t bad but could be better.Breakfast was always good with really good friendly service. As I stayed for 10 days the staff addressed me by name as they remembered me which is a nice touch. The only negative was the WiFi connectivity and speeds were poor. Connectivity in my room and the gym were both very intermittent making working here very difficult although I was able to use the wired network connection in my room.Overall though a very pleasant stay and I’d love to come back again to explore more of this beautiful city.
Andi Zhang: Good location, good suite rooms, best fit for ppl like me that need to work. I need to request for room cleaning services a day in advance though, which is not very convenient.Walkability: Walkable to downtown attractions
Jenny Kite: As a Hilton Diamond member I’d say skip this hotel if you want to use the internet to watch anything streaming. I stay at Hiltons in countries all over the world and this is the first one I’ve encountered in a decade that is clearly blocking common streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). All other internet works (somewhat slowly). When I went to the front desk I was told the hotel internet wasn’t working well so they gave me a password for the meeting spaces which clearly had the same screening, I could watch YouTube videos after a long wait but all streaming services say they have no internet…. What year is it?
T Lucas: Very clean, we loved that our room had a separate bedroom. Our room had absolutely beautiful views! It was the perfect place to explore Vancouver most popular neighborhoods- Chinatown, downtown, Stanley park, Gastown, yaletown, cruise terminal, and is close to the train station. Our only issue was the elevator situation, it seemed to run pretty slow... But we weren't really in a hurry.
Marvin Lee: Amazing location and superb serviceRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NiZ: Great staff. Great service. Had an amazing stay. Rooms are clean and well serviced. All the staff went out of the way to help make our stay fantastic. Would happily return.
Ro Al: Very comfortable lovely suites and the staff are kind and attentive.
PW Spence: Nice room and comfortable beds. Great location. Disappointing breakfast buffet with gnats (food flies?) on the food, with several eating the lemon pound cake and one landed on my plate. Many were on the wall behind the buffet. I would not eat food that has been touched by flies due to possible germs carried by flies. I reported the problem the first day. All they did was shoo the flies away (without throwing the food away or covering the food). The next morning they put a little fan to try to blow away the flies but that didn't work. There were more flies than the day before. I again spoke with the staff. This time I recommended calling pest control. We had a gnat problem at our house last year and our pest control techician identified the source quickly and got rid of them. So I don't understand why this hotel hasn't dealt with the gnat issue.
Therese Martin: After a long day of traveling I was greeted warmly. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The reception desk staff were helpful and the restaurant staff made sure everything was just right.Rooms: The suite I was in had a beautiful view of the city. It was clean and well appointed. I appreciated the added touch of a Nespresso machine.
Robert Smith: Great location and staff. Rooms seem up to date and clean. Excellent breakfast.
Kelly Flanagan: The food and staff in Time and Place are the best. We will miss everyone at the front desk, the bar staff, and the kitchen staff who all made the whole experience so welcoming.Nearby activities: The Burnaby Mall is two blocks over and two blocks down. Hundreds of great stores including a Walmart and a Superstore.Walkability: Lots to do and there is a rail station a couple of blocks away.Food & drinks: Love the happy hour menu.Noteworthy details: The whole hotel staff is friendly and accommodating.

O Canada House Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?
Yitzchack Gila: Excellent location for bed and breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchenette for drinks and refreshments that is open all the time. Breakfast is served until 10 am and there are two options for the meal. The excellent location of the place allows access to interesting places in downtown Vancouver and also to the train station.
Carla McGrorty-Lavey: After several stays at O'Canada House it never disappoints...just gets better and better if possible. Outstanding B&B...the best we've stayed in throughout the world! We absolutely live it here. Staff are wonderful, food is to die for. Original and tasty. The rooms are exquisite, warm, cosy, luxurious and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. With fantastic history to boot!! Just the best 👌 Thank you very much O'Canada....we will always return, when passing through Vancouver.Rooms: Great wi fi...beds are so comfortable...rooms are warm and fab bathrooms.Safety: We love the attention to keeping the house safe with the safety requirements.Walkability: Easy, close to everything.Food & drinks: Just amazing...we love the complimentary home baked cookies, coffee and wee glass of Sherry in the Parlour in the evenings.

John Clezy: Beautiful old home, wonderful hospitality and great breakfast. Not to mention great location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a B&B in downtown Vancouver.
Frank G Canacari: Central location, friendly & welcoming staff, indulgent 24/7 pantry and a great breakfast to send you on your way. My new home base in Vancouver!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Byron Pelly: Top of the line establishment in Vancouvers west end. Very centrally located with tons of amenities within walking distance. Very unique and historical heritage house with modern finishings, while still maintaining the heritage house feel. Rooms are clean and serviced well by the staff. Breakfast is excellent with a pantry that is very accommodating for guests. Definitely a hidden gem of the west end.
Michele Centrella: Lovely, centrally located B&B in the heart of downtown Vancouver.Rooms: Beautifully decorated with antique furniture and furnishings. Quite adorable.Safety: Very safe walkable neighborhood.
Isaac: Within walking distance from many of the sights in downtown Vancouver and parking is also included (if available). Rooms were maintained in their original/renovated appearance and the carpets appeared to be decades old. Breakfast included each morning was adequate and a decent way to start the day. Rooms can occasionally be booked for around $150.
Theo Gritsch: Wunderschönes „altes“ Bed&Breakfast.Sehr freundliche und kompetente Angestellte!!!Zimmer in schönem Stile.
Ula Will: Super Zimmer. Der Service hat alles geboten, was das Herz begehrt. Man konnte den ganzen Tag Kaffee, Tee, Limonade, Cola trinken. Kuchen, Kekse, joghurt, Obst, abends noch ein Sherry. Klasse
Michelle Denault: Wonderful B&B in Vancouver. I would stay again if I found myself in Vancouver again. They truly made us feel at home. Breakfast in the morning was gourmet and was ordered the night before. There were two choices - one egg dish and one carb dish. The pantry was always open and offered homemade sweets, soda, juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or port. The B&B was within walking distance of the cruise port and about a 20 min drive from the airport. Perfect location!
Steve Mabbett: Great place to stay in Vancouver. Handy for hop on hop off bus and Stanley park. Staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Coffee and homemade cakes available 24/7. Amazing place.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Pete B: Great b&b. Beautiful rooms and the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel anywhere.
Kate Sheppard: Lovely house with excellent accommodations. The breakfast was quality with a variety of both healthy and decadent choices. This is definitely a business rather than family home, but the staff work hard to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is much closer to downtown, so there were street noises. Our biggest disappointment was the entire third floor is one suite, and as in our case, one loud guest or group can ruin a good night sleep. It sounded as if people were holding up then dropping full suitcases on the floor above us. Several times it actually caused our windows to rattle.
Evelyn Gennaccaro: CleanGreat location24/7 pantry-delicious homemade treats wTea/ coffee/ cold drinks and fresh fruitAmazing breakfastVery friendly helpful staffThank you again

Alina Daniela Botezan: It’s a little bit unbelievable that this place is rated 3 Stars. No functional heating system(this seems to be an old problem), gave us a loud heating fan and told us they will refund the price we paid for a night. After we were gone, we received only 178CAD (what we paid for a night was 247CAD).The staff seemed to be trying but that only lasted until we left. Too bad, I probably would have given a better review despite dirty and torn sheets, if they had kept their promises. The only positive about this place is the location.Walkability: Close to most important attractions
Alex Kowalik: My room was smaller than my bathroom at home. I expected a bit more for the price. But staff were all wonderful. And the location is stellarRooms: SmallSafety: There is a security guard at nightWalkability: Great location
Michael Branson: The Burrard hotel was a fantastic experience. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, awesome rooms with air conditioning, comfy bed and pillows, free water and coffee (and you can ask for as more waters if you need extra), cool atmosphere (fire pit and games in the centre), central to Granville and lots of restaurants, the list goes on. Would recommend for everyone and definitely would stay here again in the future. 10/10
Sergiu Botezan: This place is a scam.We made the mistake to trust the positive reviews. In retrospect I believe those reviews were bought. This place is definitely not a 3 star hotel. We paid almost 1000CAD for 4 nights and had to sleep in 16 degrees Celsius because there was no heat. As we complained we received a heating fan which was very loud and because of that could be used only during the day. As compensation we were promised to get back one free night which didn’t truly happened. We got back only 180CAD from the 250 promised which by the way is way too less for the fact that our vacation was destroyed due to the fact that we got a bad cold. The bathroom is very small, coffee and water were not refilled every day, walls are thin and you can hear everything around you, windows are to the hallway outside so you have no privacy.I will fill up a complain against this place and try to get my money back.Stay away from this place and remain healthy!
G Rivera: Excellent staff! I loved my stay here, everything was clean no issues, and has met all our expectations. I would highly recommend it while in Vancouver.Rooms: Very Neat and clean. Good smell.Safety: Felt safe while walking the neighborhood.Food & drinks: There is a variety of places to stop and eat. Denny's, Thai food, Mexican, etc.

Kurt Shockey: This past week work brought me north of the border. Was consulting in North Vancouver. Had a corner room with an excellent view of downtown Vancouver. Room was very quiet and the staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest is possibly opening breakfast at 6:30am instead of 7am. The week I was there had a number of people waiting after 6:30am, including myself. Enjoy the many photos I took.

Angie F: Great location. Right across the street from BC PLACE and a Boston Pizza :-) Staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Parking is very convenient. Elevator from garage straight up to your floor. $28.00 parking with in/out privileges. Complimentary breakfast was the usual fare. Nothing spectacular but adequate. We had wanted an accessible room, but we were told that their accessible rooms ONLY have bathtubs which didn't work for us. We needed a separate shower. So we had regular room with a shower/no tub. The bed was EXTREMELY high. Nice to have coffee in the room. Was also told by front desk agent that room would have a sofa, but it did not. It did have a chair though. At what we paid, I would have enjoyed a "suite" with a sofa, since it wasn't an accessible room anyway.
Ayo Ayo: Excellent. I love everything about this place. Location, nice room, nice breakfast. Feels like home close to all locations.Rooms: Big and spacious. Rpv Vaj: Room was great. Manager at front desk was awful. Didnt explain anything to us, just gave us key cards and said nothing is charged. We asked for any paperwork, reciept, something, he jsu said 'No' I didn't charge you yet". Then walked away.Employees were actually great, they explained everything to us, have us coupons for exhibits, suggestions, and even toldnus about free shuttles. Would of been 5 stars, but Manager left bad taste, employees should train the manager.Nearby activities: Close to many places to eat and shopWalkability: Better to walk, since paid parking everywhere.
Ankita Ahuja: We had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The only issue that I want to mention about is - "the rude behaviour of the front desk manager". There is a way to convey things to a customer in a polite tone. This was not a great customer service experience for me.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Lovelylady: When I first arrived Thursday morning the staff member was very nice checking my information and storing my bags. She told me to check back around 12:00 but I didn't return til 2:00 realizing I was early. I waited in the lobby for quite awhile then I approached the front desk and another staff member asked me if I was waiting for someone? I looked confused, then she saw my paperwork with my name on it. She said, oh I'm sorry. Then I was checked in and given my room key. I felt this incident made the staff appear not attentive. Otherwise, my room & bathroom were very clean and spacious! The breakfast could use some work, to me it was subpar at best, a lot of carbs. The hotel lobby is very small. It is centrally located downtown where there are plenty of restaurants and shops.

Nicolas Simonet: Tres bien situe, chambre confortable, personnel agréable
Marilyn Lindsay: Service was exceptional. Location is a big plus. Rooms are clean and good size. The bed is very comfortable. The only slight criticism is that the restaurant, and there isn't any room service, closes at 9:00, and the nearest restaurant is about 6 minute walk.Walkability: Near the harbor front, wonderful walking path
M M: I'm not sure how this classifies as a 4-star hotel. Lobby, service, restaurant and gym, sure -- 4-star worthy. But rooms? Dingy. Worn-down. Steel entry doors with reinforcement so you feel ever so safe. Sliding barn-style doors on closet and bathroom that don't slide easily at all. Carpets of questionable design, age and cleanliness. Shower fixtures loose and under-powered. Beds that creak and rattle just from getting in or out of them. Top it off with Wifi that's slow, at best... I could go on.Price-wise, you get what you pay, I guess. Parking is underground, and while it's not cheap (about $37 with taxes to self-park), it's not as bad as some neighbouring hotels. Just be warned that it's a 6' clearance -- so most SUVs won't slide in there.Positives? Staff and bell service were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was fine. The gym was handy, but not all equipment is working or in good repair -- and by the sounds of it, the hot tub is out of order more often than it's usable -- and it was out of order for my visit, too. The restaurant is pricy, but has nice views over the street/harbour.All in all, it feels like the Pinnacle has lost its shine. I'd choose one of the other nearby options before coming back here -- and there are a lot of other hotels in the area. Our room was a "harbour-view" that peeked out at Coal Harbour through an enclosed balcony.

Brooke Hamer-Jackson: An amazing hotel. All the rooms have themes. Very cultural. Also houses homeless indigenous artists. The service was absolutely amazing. Can not recommend this hotel enough. Front desk man was wonderful. So kind with a great sense of humor. Our room was spectacular. Will always be staying here when we come to Vancouver.Everything was awesome
Tom Biro: One of my favorite places to stay in Vancouver by a mile. Super location, REALLY friendly staff, always clean, and a great way to see some amazing art at the same time. Highly recommend this spot, especially if you're looking to stay somewhere fresh.
Braylen: Great location and very accommodating.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Tayler Steinke: This was a unique hotel experience! The location is fairly sketchy but thankfully the underground parking garage is secure. Parking for two nights did cost $78 so that was extremely expensive….The location is nice and close walking distance tho to lots of stuff which is nice!!The elevator is slow, just an observation. The room was cool! We stayed in a double bed room. It has stairs going up to the bed area which was cool! Upon going up the stairs I did notice under the chairs and table there was a fair bit of dirt and dust. The rest of the room looked clean tho. The hotel was fairly quiet and peaceful for the most part. The beds and pillows were fairly firm for my liking, but still comfy. The smudge room and outdoor area was pretty cool but seemed like it was in the off season since it was a bit dismantled. Hotels never put herbal teas on the rooms and I don’t drink black teas, so this was very nice to see! They had two kinds of herbal teas in the room so I actually got to drink some tea. I don’t know if this is a big deal to some people but it’s a big deal to me! The breakfast was way better than other free hotel breakfast I’ve had at other chain hotels…. They had fresh bannock that I warmed up and dipped in the homemade yogurt! Very good!!! Lots of tea and coffee options. Also fresh fruit and other items! Very good, this is a small thing but makes a huge difference! Beautiful First Nations art all over the property! There were very cool bear dream catchers in our room!
Dominic Gentilcore: This was the most unique hotel experience I have ever had. It's like staying inside an art museum. There are handmade details everywhere not just as art on the walls, but also built into the architecture. The smudge room and balcony lodge are beautiful and relaxing escapes. The bannock at breakfast was delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and we had several great, long conversations with Rick. The rooms were cozy and clean. We want to come back.
chrissie williams: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER not only are they aware of scammers online they don't do anything to prevent it they also take their turn while your wallet is open maybe I'm naive to think natives would help natives in the end we paid 4 times a regular stay and it was tiniest 2 beds for 3 adults in the end WORST hotel stayRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Belinda Burton: Located near the gates of Chinatown, Skwachays Lodge is a quirky Aboriginal Hotel & Gallery. Each room has a different theme (we were in the Wilderness Teachings Suite) and is decorated with artwork by local indigenous artists. The rooms were clean with plenty of storage and the beds and pillows are one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! The shower was hot with good water pressure (which I find very important). It also had a microwave which was handy for cooking our breakfast porridge. While situated on the not so nice end of West Pender Street, the area is quiet with a cinema and supermarket across the road and only a couple of streets away from central historic Gastown.  It is also an easy walking distance to downtown Waterfront Place, Rogers Arena and other attractions. Proceeds from the hotel go towards supporting social housing for indigenous Canadians which is an extra bonus.
Judy Payne: We enjoyed our stay at Skwachays Lodge! The decor was beautiful; the room was comfortable and very clean. The staff helped us find great nearby restaurants. I particularly appreciated their prompt assistance in returning to me an item I had inadvertently left behind.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Madison Stewart: Overall a terrible experience at the Holiday Inn Downtown Vancouver. I found a bed bug in the room and reported it to the front desk, they confirmed that yes it was a bed bug but due to their recent renovation it was not possible to have originated from the hotel. Instead, it was implied that I had brought the bed bug in with me. It's fairly obvious that the rooms are not completely new, including the furniture, just new flooring and paint. I was offered no compensation, no voucher for dry cleaning etc. and the room I was moved to had hairs in the shower and sink.
Bluelinewall: The place is a bit of a maze. They are renovating. The location is good. I love the second floor deck. The restaurant food was good.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
BreeAnna Lasher: Nice place to stay. No hot tub. Short walk to Starbucks. Good location. Parked in the garage and it was super convenient and our car wasn’t broken into. Very close to a great bar!
Amanda Reding: Walkability: A variety of decent coffee shops and restaurants within a block or two.Noteworthy details: Parking costs extra per day, the charges may look strange the first couple of days because they do a 50$ hold the first day and then on day 2 charge the balance of what adds up to two days.
Norm Yip: I liked the room I stayed in, a corner suite at the end of a long corridor. It was clean, no smell, and clean. The hallway itself is a bit dated, needing a refresh. The shower faucet came off, but I just pushed it back in. There was some noise from the bar outside, but not overly so that I couldn't sleep. The fitness centre is okay and empty. I guess the clientelle here don't like working out. All in all, an okay experience, mostly because the room was clean and to my liking.Nearby activities: A short walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery. Also a great variety of restaurants around the neighborhood, in particular a wonderful pastry/bakery named Breka with the best Earl Grey Creme Puff and Chocolate Almond Croissant I've tasted in awhile.
thomas eliot: Very nice hotel five minutes' walk from the centre. Eccellente breakfast and dinner and competente and good-looking staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aman Kumar: Located in downtown, which is easily accessible by transit. Lots of food options near by.AC was not working and we were told that they have turned off central cooling. We were told to open windows to lower room temperature. This is not acceptable from renowned hotel. Also i was disappointed by breakfast. Thought it to be buffet breakfast. But it was fixed ala carte. There were few options on menu and one can order one of them.Reception staff was nice and we were given free room upgrade as we were here to celebrate my birthday.
John Braun: Convenient location to explore Vancouver.Friendly staff members. The room was spotless, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. Excellent breakfast.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Carlos Alejandro Franco: A well-located hotel, just in the core of Vancouver downtown. Unfortunately, its pleasantly premises and its global corporate structure comes to be nothing when dealing with his night clerk, a Maya native named Hernan Lopez, who happens to be very arrogant and rude with the guests. Worst of all, he uses to sell rooms under the table asking you to pay him $100 CAD without a bill, of course. I sincerely recommend his manager to be more careful about the behavior and the fraudulent manners of this corrupt employee.
David: A fine enough hotel. The service was lukewarm but the hotel rooms (which seem to be recently renovated) feel like they're from another era. How a television doesn't have a way to connect your phone or computer in 2023 is beyond me. No Chromecast? No HDMI cable? These are basic expectations in a hotel now and with very little to do around this neighbourhood at night, it would be nice if they invested in updating more than the shower.
Josh Johnson: Great accommodations and friendly staff. Room was very clean and well maintained - kudus to the housekeeping and maintenance teams. It’s in an older building but refurbished on the inside. The windows are a bit thin slowing a lot of street noise, but fortunately it’s a quiet area so mostly just traffic white noise.Would definitely stay again!
Scarlet Carbajal Azcona: Un hotel muy bonito, muy cómodo, buenos espacios, ubicación privilegiada, la gente es muy amable.
Kevin Soo: The check in experience was great. The check out experience on 18 April 6am wasn't great. The guy was angry for some reason. Didn't greet. No eye contact. Just want to get things done. On 16 April a bunch of school kids checked in and it was crazy. I started at 6th floor and these kids were running around knocking on every door. They also played and threw things down the emergency staircase. I reported it and the hotel staff took immediate action. Unfortunately the kids came back out to play once the staff is gone. Not a hotel issue, but the kids were very inconsiderate.
Ben G: The room and bed was very comfortable, cleanliness of room was also good, staff were also very friendly. We did have a couple of nights where our floor had about 4-5 rooms booked up by what looked like a college party, loud music and teenagers drinking in the corridor with loud music, but it did die down around 1-2am. Pool was nice and warm, but when we got there there were beer cans and towels everywhere, which I assume was left by the party going on upstairs. This may have just been a one off, but other than these 2 days, hotel was lovely and quiet.

Christopher Rodgers: I should have written this at the time but my experience was laughable and a total nightmare with almost all customer service agents I spoke with. This occurred during the week of February 20th, 2023 for reference. TLDR: no rooms available, lack of care, extremely long waiting times, poor communication and more.1) Policy at the time said you could enter your room at 4pm. However, at 4:15pm I was told still not available. At which point the staff promised me I would get a text message telling me when the room would be ready.2) At 5:20pm I returned because I hadn't received a text but wanted to get inside the room I paid for, they told me it still was not ready.3) One of the staff offered giving me a king size room with a balcony as a substitute which I thought was the appropriate thing to do. That only lasted a few seconds before she rug-pulled the idea and gave me room "605" which was a standard room that she said was available.4) She gives me the keys to the room which I go to and enter, only to walk in on two guests already occupying that room.5) Go back downstairs to let them know of the situation, no apologies at all and continued to find me other substitutes. The room with a king bed and balcony wasn't on the table anymore even after I asked about it.6) She offers me another room "818" and gives me the cards to that room. I am hopeful this time it will surely work right? It doesn't. The cards she gave me were invalid.7) I decide to go to another staff member since it is now after 6pm and still without a room and the previous two service agents were no help.8) I briefed a woman who appeared to be the shift manager on the situation. Again, 2 hours after I was supposed to check-in, she did not apologize or offer anything for my inconvenience. She gave me two more new key cards saying that they would work this time.9) At last, I am finally in a "room", with appliances that did not work. However, I could care less to complain, all I wanted was sleep after a 6-hour flight and 3-hour wait in the lobby of this hotel.10) Sleep, was not what I got. Instead, next door partied from 12am to 5 am.11) In the morning, I went to the next shift manager, told her my situation. Finally, someone had some compassion and general customer service experience. She promised me that room with a king size bed and balcony. I was so excited.12) My room turned out okay this time. It was room 1201, it was quiet and peaceful. However, I had asked if I could get items delivered to the hotel. I was in need of some mandatory items from Amazon for the school meetings I had in the following days. She said it was no problem at all. They deal with deliveries all the time.13) My one day shipping turned into three. Not because of Amazon. It was because of this hotel. Due to disconnected departments and a lack of communication, my shoes had apparently entered receiving but not "physically available" to the regular staff. I had one man bring me all the way to the back of the hotel to show me what he called the "cage" and that there were no packages for me. He even showed me the clipboard that the people in receiving haven't touched in a few days. He called them "lazy" and that they are always "slow".14) When my package finally got to front desk, it did not make it to my room. I asked for them to bring it up and they didn't. When I asked to pick it up instead, they told me I couldn't and someone will hand deliver it. So back up I went and waited for someone to do what I just did, go up the elevator.I'll end with a thrilling story from Hyatt Guest Services:"He didn't even hit the kid that hard".You think that's taken out of context? So did I when the staff told me about an incident where a guest had hit a kid with luggage cart and told me therefore I could not move the luggage cart without him. Thanks!I'll make sure not to hit any kids on my way out sir.

Paul Post: Great hotel with plenty of rooms and friendly and helpful staff. I definite do over as the hotel is central to shopping and the beaches.Your are a 10-15 minute walk to all the attractions. Ll Brown: Excellent experience here. The staff is very accommodating and nice. The room was nice and clean. The room had a separate sitting area, which works well for us. Overall, it was a great experience.Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and decorated nicelyNearby activities: Next to lots of shopping area.Walkability: Great location.Food & drinks: Great restaurants inside the hotelAlso, in a great location for other food locations
Michelle Rintz: The room was costly and we were very disappointed in the location. We had so much street noise which would have been understandable, but the fire department is a block away and there were sirens all the time. They did seem to stop about 10pm, but if you are going to sleep before then or trying to take an afternoon nap it is quite difficult, bring earplugs. I feel for the cost, we would have probably stayed somewhere else.
Dan Last name: Front Desk took a long time to answer after missing some things we had asked for originally. One thing I find extremely irritating is a key card that won't work. If it works for the first 4 things but not for the next 20, your system is broken. It is embarrassing when your key card does not work, amd another guest comes along. It awkward. Any business that puts me in a socially awkward scenario is not going g to get more than 3 stars. Please fix your key card system. Imagine having to have a conversation with a stranger having to convince them that, yes you are staying here, and yes you do have access to the pool.
Evan Schwab: This hotel was what we were looking for. The rooms were small but comfortable and the wi does provide beautiful views of the city. The area this hotel is in is prime. Ziyue Hu: Service is top notch. Beds are super comfy too.
Diane B: I thought I was going to experience some luxury here. Last night of our trip. The room was spacious, the view was pretty cool and the bed was super comfortable. The disappointment was that the room decor was very dated, there was no closet in the bedroom, the shower was so tiny and old, I wasn't sure if it was mold or marble markings where the floor and the shower walls met, I wore my flip flops in the shower. The coffee station was not great, no instructions and I got my water from the bathroom tap. Not what I expected from a King suite. We went down to the pool and whirlpool and also wore my shoes the whole time, there were hairs on the floor around the pool and no one was there. You had to go to a different floor to reach the change rooms.I wouldn't stay here again.Parking was $50 a night which seems like a gauge but parking in the city is brutal. At least there were good restaurants in walking distance.
Naz Ganjee: The manager of the hotel was very kind! Wynne Collins: Beds were super comfortable! The room was great and I had an excellent view (19th floor). I was one block from my conference, so easy to get to. My one complaint was gym hours (7 AM - 10 PM). Made it impossible to work out in the morning. 6 AM start would make more sense. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed the stay,
Katie Morgan: Beautiful hotel and very accommodating staff. Location is great for walking to shopping, Granville Island, Stanley Park, etc. Very central and clean.Walkability: Excellent proximity to many downtown attractions. Easily walkable to avoid driving in Vancouver traffic.
