FMurray Daley: Wonderful place tobwork out some stiffness.
Eric Mendes: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI had a great experience with this yoga studio in Vancouver
Lina Morrison: Positive:QualityI am a member of Karma Teachers for over 4 years. I love their classes and safe environment. This is one of the best Yoga Studios in Vancouver - and best of all they are free or by donation!
Richard Morrison: Positive:ProfessionalismExcellent Place to do Yoga Teacher Training in Vancouver. I got my certificate in 2019. The life training is simply unparalleled. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to advance their Yoga as a professional or in life training.
Emerson Wolfe: This space used to be amazing! Unfortunately, in 2020, the executive director was asked to leave because of abuse of power and misconduct. Before he left, he registered the trademark "karma teachers" in order to maintain control of the community and manipulate the incoming board of directors. Rather than associate with him, the community decided to rebrand as Phoenix Community Yoga operating at 45 w Hastings. This is not the same Karma Teachers.
Amber Marple: Such a blessed space! The instructors are amazing and Karma Yoga does so much for the community. They offer a wide range of yoga classes and their dance classes are so much fun! Highly recommend checking them out.
climbing karma: Sorry
Taste Creativity: Can't recommend more.
Lala lo: This a home where you walk in and no matter what state you’re in, you know you will feel safe. How precious it is to connect back with unconditional acceptance of self!I feel such gratitude for Karma teachers, allowed me to belong, share & grow with others. True family
Nicole Roy: I did my Kids Yoga Teacher Training at Karma teachers. It was comfortable and centrally located. Everyone I met at the center was passionate about yoga and knowledgeable and nice.
Roi Ben Daniel: I absolutely loved the place, great option for Yoga lovers who visit town. A very community oriented yoga center, you can choose what you contribute to the center. Arrive early so you can register to the class.
Melanie Y: Cozy yoga, meditation and teacher training studio located in the heart of Gastown. All classes are by donation with a suggested minimum donation of $5! Lots of different classes offered including: Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Meditation.
Mr Ait: The teachers are great staff are very friendly and helpful. the atmosphere cozy There is a nice seating area and you can help yourself to a complimentary cup of healthy drinks There is also a small changing roomI would definitely recommend it!I feel really lucky to have this studio in my neighbourhood and look forward many more sessions there.

The space as well is beautiful & amazing. 100% will practice here again.I came because a friend of mine is doing her teacher training here. They hold their classes by donation. The teacher I had for Yin yoga was wonderful & helped correct / adjust some of my poses. Beyond happy I was introduced to Karma.
Sadi Santos: Great experience!
Ashley Jordan: I always feel so at home at Karma Teachers! All of the volunteers are so committed and kind, and the classes are always amazing!

One Yoga for the People: what do users think?
Monika Reinhold: Thank you 🙏
J I: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityOne has been my happy place for five years. The front staff is warm and sweet, the instructors are brilliant, and my fellow yogis attending practice are always lovely.
Christopher Szado: This is my favorite space in Canada to practice. The instructors are all great. Even the newer instructors have a very high standards of practice and the best of the best in Vancouver congregate at this studio. Could not appreciate and value the space and people more. Highest recommendation possible
Jenny Yao: Dubious honor of delivering the worst digital classes that I have ever attended: 1. Zero effort put into the set-up (instructor's upper half was cut off - can probably find better streams on YouTube); 2. Verbal cues only for a good chunk of the class - not really beginner friendly; 3. Felt like you didn't matter if you weren't a regular - where's the community feel?
Tomoko Mikuriya: My favourite yoga studio! I highly recommend their in-person and virtual classes.
Brainy Bungler: Tried a few studios in Vancouver. This one has the best vibe.
Amin Rezapour: Best in town
Josephine Greene: Love this yoga studio
Kyle Wisniewski: Excellent.
Mike McLean: Great classes, space and teachers.
Cristina W.: One Yoga is my favourite yoga studio in town with, in my opinion, the highest caliber of teachers. Most of these teachers have devoted their lives to this practice and are the kind of teachers who teach other teachers how to be an amazing teacher.Check out Christine Price Clark for a beautiful and intentional sequence. See Clara Roberts-Oss for unique and enlivening breathwork and forms. See Mari Dickey for a vinyasa class that will leave you feeling like a new person. See Risto Duggan for a rocket/vinyasa class that will encourage you to reach your full potential. See Shelley Tomczyk for her spiritual energy and heart-lifting sequencing. Those are just the teachers I can remember off the top of my head. Go find out for yourself how awesome they all are!Sliding scale payment system makes practice more accessible, which I am very grateful for. Wonderful space as well, red brick walls, deep brown wooden flooring. Homey vibes.
Sarah D (EatEnergizeEvolve): I went to the 10am and it was packed, but spaced out well. Fantastic class, fantastic instructor and the front desk staff were super nice.
Ralitza Dimova: The studio is very new and modern and all the staff are fantastic. The only reason for the 3/5 stars is because the last three 4:15 classes I have attended have been so packed that the space between the mats is limited to 40-30cm, and they’ve run out of equipment every class (blocks and/or straps). So I’ve had to hold my leg up instead of using straps for a large portion of the class, which has been frustrating and has left me feeling like they care less about ensuring they are providing enough equipment for the poses in that class and more about selling as much space as possible. I found this wasn’t the case over the summer but it’s gotten worse since fall started.
T ngg: Amazing instructors. Beautiful space. Hidden gem.
L Klein: Home away from home :) The teachers at OneYoga are, in my opinion, the best in town. The atmosphere of the studio is relaxing, yet professional. Perfect mixture. Caters to many different needs- classes are taught pretty much morning-night on most days, with varying types of classes being offered. Can only recommend.
Anirudh Kansal: The staff and volunteers here are suuuuuper nice! They have a really strong community feel and the culture of service is really obvious when talking with anyone there. It's a beautiful studio, one of the best in Vancouver!
F. Dini: Great yoga studio. The noon classes are a perfect lunch break option if you want to relax and calm down for the rest of the day.
Andreas Lerch: Great staff with a nice open clean space
jmhughes: Wonderful space and friendly staff. The class I took with Clara was superb - she focused on alignment and working at your own level within a well balanced flow class.
LAZER HAWK: My favourite yoga spot in van, really great vibes in this studio.
Terezie Strnadova: love this studio, teachers there are so inspiring, fun and have so much experience. staff is friendly and helpful and the studio is beautiful. my favorite in Vancouver.

Jessica Wilson: I have been going to Modo Yoga for over two months now and love everything about it! Everyone is kind and welcoming and each teacher has their own style and music taste when teaching which I love! The studio offers some heat during class but it's not an unbearable heat, just enough to get you sweating a bit. It is a clean studio and space and I love the tea that they offer before and after class. I would definitely recommend trying it out! They also offer a great 1-month unlimited option at a reasonable price for newcomers. 10/10 would recommend!

Anna D: I highly recommend Modo for those who are a bit apprehensive to try hot yoga. The heat is definitely not too intense…kind of like a nice warm hug. The studio is immaculately clean and I appreciate the spacious change rooms with combination lockers, as well as showers and hairdryers if you can’t go home to wash the sweat off right away! Lastly, location is excellent with ample parking underground or on the street :)
CC Foo: Great, clean yoga studio with the kindest instructors. Love It!
F L Wong: Great place, wonderful staff
Deborah Howitt: I highly recommend Kitsilano Modo Yoga. The facility is conveniently located and thoughtfully laid out. It is scrupulously clean. Between classes the floors are washed. The mats are washed after use. Communication between students and staff are friendly and frequent. The instructors are very good. The modo practice I follow is PERFECT for me. I can see and feel my body responding positively to the hour devoted to paying attention to it. My mind is clear and calm.It is a wonderful way to start the day.
Katie Nero: Awesome studio. My favorite one in the city. Never had a bad class here! Love the power yoga.
Vanessa Hsu: Modo yoga has great vibes, full relaxation and friendly companies!
Maria LULI Lavaggi: Awesome teachers my favourite Tristan Jeff Carolyn and Laura for more gentle queI highly recommend Modo infrared yoga for your health st Alma
Jessica Schnell: So grateful for Modo yoga!! Being back in that sweaty room feels so good! In my opinion…hot yoga is the cure for everything ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Sarah Ho: I’m so grateful to have found this amazing studio and family. The instructors are knowledgeable, gentle and kind and each class I take is an experience rather than just another class Thank you Modo!

YYOGA Downtown Flow: what do users think?
Marjan Rouhipour: This review is not about the service in studio or teachers or quality of service. This is about hold request on monthly membership. I am a month to month members eligible for 3 holds per year.It should be easy process to ask for hold but it is, it is very confusing and you cannot talk to anyone. The north shore studio told me to fill the form and I did. After 4 ays I have not received any response. After submitting the request, there is no tracking number no auto reply email nothing that shows you sent that request. In summary:- you cannot do it over phone and call your studio- it is only through a online form, finding the right form itself is confusing, no instruction- you do not know if YYoga received it or not , no auto reply or tracking number- no response in 72 hours as YYoga claims.
Ghazal: First time at this location. Booked a Hatha yoga class through ClassPass for this studio and I was truly impressed with the studio aesthetics! This location is very spacious and has a huge lounge area to relax and unwind before or after your classes. What I like about YYoga is that teachers usually educate you about the poses and their benefits in addition to guiding you through the shapes.Jayme was an amazing teacher!Highly recommend!
Ivan Quintana: The 200 hour YYOGA Yoga Teacher Training program is second to none. I would strongly recommend it whether you would like to learn how to teach yoga or simply deepen your knowledge in the practice and increase your level of self-awareness. The program is very comprehensive. The instructors Mari, Jayme, Jasmina and Zander are very dedicated and passionate professionals, and are generous with their knowledge, experience and time. They attract similar enthusiastic and empathetic people. I was part of two different groups and both were full of incredible, wonderful people.
Gustavo Arruda: One of the best yoga studios in Vancouver. Nice, big rooms and a very welcoming atmosphere. Teaching is superb.
Maria N: Very good and clean studio!Staff are nice. Bernadette is a wonderful instructor,I attended her class 3 times and enjoyed it so much. She is very engaging, shows a lot of different postures for different levels. On the other hand, I was not very impressed by Jayme. Won’t attend her class again.
Justine Yiu: Love coming here after work to unwind. They have great facilities: showers, tea room, infrared sauna. I feel like I get a mini spa day during the week. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. The hot yoga and power classes are great. Be prepared to sweat. Haven’t had an issue with their online booking system. I just pay for the 10 class pack, which is great for my needs.
Rebecca Coastal: Very disappointing! From 2021 until 2022 they didn't let students enter without the Va.xx Passport. That's a violation of our medical privacy and the Canadian Bill of Rights. They even mandate the Yoga teachers to take the Jab.Many of them left.I understand that they want to keep the studio open, but it's OUR body OUR Choice! They failed the Great Spiritual Test that was presented to us. They are NOT authentic. No Body, No Mind and No Spirit. They ONLY have fear of breathing. Even after taking the jab.The decisions they made were to save their own selves and their business. This is the primordial reptile brain (fear) which is operating for those who failed to do the right thing; a lower frequency vibration (and operating on the 3 lower chakras). Not very ‘yogic’ if you ask me.
Rebecca Brewer: V nice facility and challenging classes. Mainly attended the yhot classes and had good experiences. The reason for the lower rating has to do with the relative inflexibility of the passes. After an abdominal surgery I was unexpectedly required to avoid all significant exercise for 6 weeks and Yyoga did accommodate me with a 1 month extension to my pass to cover some of that time. The problem is that it simply wasn't enough time to recover and I pushed myself too soon to attend classes again after losing significant muscle mass post-surgery . Long story short, the last class I attended was followed by an evening spent in the ER. Not a great experience coming out of illness to feel that pressure to use up paid credits, but I understand that they're a business. I feel a bit attached to the idea that yoga should have restorative potential but after this experience with Yyoga, I realize that I simply am not consistently able-bodied enough for this yoga studio. Sad because I had enjoyed the experience for the most part. Just a suggestion, but maybe given the mandate of wellness, it might make sense to be a bit less arbitrary about giving people extensions based on illness. Why the limit? Why not just accommodate your clients in this small way to help them in their recovery? I don't think I will be going back because of this feeling. Final note: In one of the post-surgery classes I attended and tried to struggle through, the instructor, speaking to the entire class, said to "ignore" me (not sure if some people were distracted by my deviation from or modification of the poses?) and that felt very off.
Samara: Nice space, staff are really friendly, and most of the classes I've attended have been great!
Trevor Baldrey: Great place to go for whatever mood you’re in. Whether you want a nice stretch or a solid workout. Teachers are friendly and most knowledgeable in the Vancouver community!
Stephen Smith-Gander: My girlfriend has had so many issues with them.First their auto renew policy is a joke. They actually sign you on to a contract and the only way to cancel is to call them. This is not clearly stated at all when you first sign up. So, your credit card will be continually charged until you do so.Second, their staff are extremely rude pretentious stuck up people. They lack basic customer service skills. Soulless vapid folks.Lastly, their late policy is absolutely ridiculous. If you arrive even 1-2 minutes late (no exaggeration) you will be denied entry. So, if Someone rushes to make a morning class and because of a transit delay they are forced to reschedule ? Complete non sense.Yoga is supposed to be about inclusion, fitness and giving people the ability to deal with their daily stress in a healthy way. YYoga just makes that stress worse.
H Yang: I was falsely charged a “no show” fee for a class I attended. I didn’t receive any notification about this charge from YYOGA and only found out after I checked my credit card statement. I was in touch with a “digital experience guest experience” staff about this matter. I understand mistakes happen, and I would have been perfectly content with a refund of the false charge and an explanation on why I didn’t receive any notification. They did issue a refund but they did not address my concern about being charged without notice, and rather, they explained to me "why this was my fault” and how I should take responsibility as well. I was registered for 2 classes and they assumed the error occurred because I signed in for the first and didn’t sign in for the second. However, if they checked the time of the classes, they could see that the class I was marked absent for was the first and not the second, so their explanation does not make any sense. Not taking ownership and unjustly pushing blame on the customer when they make mistakes is terrible. I ALWAYS make sure I check in each time before entering a class. I corrected this digital experience staff and asked to speak to a manager about my concerns about not receiving any notification before getting charged and I did not get a response.I mentioned what happened and my concern to in studio staff and later in the day I got an email from a supervisor. They said I was sent notification and copied the said email to me. I copied portions of the email in my email search bar and found nothing. Very strange since I have no issues receiving other emails from YYOGA. I can accept that it could be a glitch. However, in addition to this, the supervisor also included a lengthy segment on how I can prevent this from happening in the future and summarized the cancellation policy to me. They were not aware of the situation and just assumed that I was absent for a class and refused to pay the penalty because I didn’t receive the notification. I found this very offensive because I understand the cancellation policy, I respect the cancellation policy and I would expect to pay the fine if I violate the policy whether or not I received notification. I read and understand the membership contract I signed to become a YYOGA member. Very frustrating/disappointing that a supervisor would send this email without first taking the time to understanding the situation. How this false charge was handled showed YYOGA was more concerned with “protecting” themselves and pushing blame. I would have really appreciated and respected ownership. What I got was a “lengthy” defence and no reassurance on how they can prevent this from happening in the future.I guess the take away is always be diligent about checking your credit card statements.
Azi Jahan: One of the most amazing Yoga studios in Vancouver!Professional and caring instructors👍🏻Professional support and customer care team 🏻Energetic and smiley faces studio team!I recently moved to Equinox as my main gym but couldn't leave this unique experience.Try it and enjoy a great quality of service and package you will experience there🤩
Jie Zhou: Love the yhot and need it for my life!
Denis Semenov: I bought a pack of single use passes (1 month expiry) 3 days before the covid shutdown in Dec 2021. The studio was closed for an extended period of time and I was unable to use the passes at the time that I was expecting to. I walked into the studio and was directed to email head office and the staff there can't help with any membership issues. I was directed to email and would get a response within a few business days (great). I did get a shocking response from head office notifying me that my pass was indeed expired and I would not be able to use the passes that I had paid for. Naturally I sent back an extremely disappointed email reminding them that the COVID shutdown had nothing to do with me, that I had paid for passes and was not provided services at the time that I was expecting to receive them. I was even more appalled that they insisted that they would only re-instate my pass if I purchase additional passes. Are you kidding me? Goes to show that these guys have absolutely zero customer loyalty and their only goal is to siphon as much money out of you pocket as possible. Whoever is running that office obviously has zero business experience and no idea how to retain customers. Would have been better off to allow me to use the passes that I paid for and deserve to use and they could have retained a future paying customer. I will be taking by business somewhere else.
’Qátuw̓as Brown: Very exclusive and unwelcoming space upon arrival. There is white woman with dark hair who gives off a passive aggressive elitist energy. She made me feel so uncomfortable and unworthy to be in “her” space. The two others at the front desk were friendly almost compensating for her energy. Very sad considering the roots of yogic teachings “non-harm”.The two stars are for the effort and energy the rest of the staff offered.
Michelle W: Ive been out of practice for a while since relocating to Canada early last year. The uncertainties of the pandemic even prolonged by absence with practicing yoga. I tried going to this studio late last year where I ended up traumatized with how the class was held. As a long time practitioner, I am used to a certain type of disciplined environment where restrictions apply, so my disappointment with this particular studio was evident.I took another break and even though I've been aware of YYoga even when I was still back in Asia because I was doing my research on how I can continue my practice, the reviews held me back. But I miss yoga more, I miss the silence, I miss the heat and sweat, I miss that part of me where distractions dont exist. I miss my inner peace. So I hesitantly signed up for my trial pack with least expectations and paced myself for more disappointments to possibly come. I was wrong. I left the studio happier, I felt like I was finally back in the same community I was a year ago.The studio is aesthetically beautiful with its minimalistic approach. The front desk team has been nothing but warm and friendly upon my first arrival, they've answered all of my inquiries. The instructors that I have attended to are encouraging. Wonderful team!
Wholly Flow: If you want to flow; then this is the place to go
Etsuko Yoshimura: It has honestly become ridiculous how Yyoga or other Vancouver based yoga studios are strict with being late. To the point that I think it's not welcoming and inclusive. People have lives and things can happen, and even though I rushed as much as possible to attend the class, spending 40 mind commuting I was rejected of entry just cos I was 5 mins late. "We don't want people to be disturbed" like really, just cos someone comes in a couple of mins your yoga practice is ruined ?Yoga has become so pretentious it's just pure annoying. I rather do yoga at home with YouTube then
Aidan Cheung: very bad company culture and all about money
Manuel Lam: Aesthetically pleasing environment. Unfortunately, out of their control, several facilities are closed for COVID reasons, which is totally understandable. There is a yoga mat cleaning station in a common area outside the yoga studio . It contains a spray bottle, but no towels or anything to wipe them down with, which was inconvenient. Other studios I've been to have sprays and cleaning supplies available inside studios.Although they quickly check COVID vaccine QR codes, I'm shocked they don't actually scan them. In a fitness facility where masks are not required, I would have hoped more strict security measurements. As well, when the front desk staff checked my QR code, they just glanced at it, which defeats the purpose. The hot yoga class I took had a teacher who spoke too much and told anecdotes on his personal life. Although they were funny at times, it was hard to focus because he was very talkative. As well, he would check his phone at several points which was a bit distracting. For the most part, he only talked us through the poses, and rarely did them with us, which was hard to follow. Not naming the instructor because he seemed like a nice guy.

STRETCH: what do users think?
Boyd Thomson: By far my favourite place to practice in the city.
Rosemary Winks: My favorite studio in the city! Been coming here for years now and love all of the teachers and staff here. Such a beautiful open space with floor to ceiling windows and pretty lace curtains. I love the bike rack placed inside the studio where you don't need to worry about your bike. Also love the free street parking if you attend the 7am classes (bonus!). There's a wide range of classes from Rocket to puppy yoga, you will love it here as much as I do. ♥️
Ghazal: I had a great time at Vanessa's inversion and arm balances class. Vanessa went over the fundamentals of the postures and taught us prep work for each one. We practiced many different poses over the course of two hours. The studio is beautiful and spacious. They have a large changing area but no lockers. However, the entrance to the studio is kept closed to ensure the safety. They also have a bike rack, which is a big plus!
J Bloom: Beautiful space, amazing instructors, exceptional classes and caring local owners. Its the best!
Tom St John: Nice studio , handy for me, took a flow class which was great!
Bridget O'Reilly: I attended the studio while I was visiting Vancouver. The team are incredibly talented, instructors are knowledge and caring. The space is beautiful, and it really feels like a community. Thanks so much, STRETCH
Alicia Shields: I came to Stretch for a puppy-yoga class. The environment and the ambiance were fantastic, and all the staff were kind and helpful. Plus of course the puppies were so cute! They played music throughout the class using a portable speaker. The music added to the ambiance, but I was right next to the speaker and at times had a bit of a hard time hearing the instructions. The yoga was beginner level, so it gave a good stretch but had nothing too challenging for someone like me who doesn't really know what they're doing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a mental boost, or just wants an excuse to hang out with puppies for an hour.
David D: Intro class was a great experience. The room & facilities are immaculate. Alia a class flow instructor. The owner & staff are so warmly welcoming. I would recommend you try here!
Melinda B: Spacious inclusive studio by main street offering yoga classes with live music- very healing experience!
Madeleine Kipling: Beautiful studio, friendly staff, great variety of programming….and the live music!
Stephen Ewashkiw: There are so many reasons that I love STRETCH.The studio is rooted in a scientific approach to yoga and within that framework teachers have space for their own styles and approaches. This leads to great classes from a range of teachers. As a cyclist I really appreciate their indoor bike rack. I don't have to worry abut my bike while I practice, which is a rarity in Vancouver. When I first started practicing here one thing that struck me was how welcoming the team and space are. A lot of care has obviously gone into designing a space that welcomes you and makes you feel safe and at home; the staff are all very open and helpful. There is a lot of space in each of the change rooms (which continue with the design of the rest of the space) and they are always spotless and well stocked. They also have showers so if you are heading off to work or play after class you can always freshen up.Full disclosure: I like the studio so much that once I was taking classes there I wanted to teach in their community (I'm a yoga teacher). I am now on their sub teacher list and once in a while I teach classes there.
Lili Tessier: The team at Stretch goes above and beyond in providing a safe space in which to practice. The community is welcoming, this studio is a positive space. Each of the teacher's personal teaching and cueing styles are integral in creating a multifaceted approach to mindfulness and overall well-being.
Daniel Crough: I love this studio. They are a wonderful group of people and have the best teachers in the city. Hands down the best yoga in Vancouver
Marina Guy: One of my favs. Chill, welcoming, peaceful space surrounded by the busy city. Such a hidden gem.
Sara McNay: Love! love! love! my time here at STRETCH. Beautiful space, great teachers and I never have to worry about forgetting a mat!
R. A.: Beautiful studio and first rate instructors. Great showers too!
Jasmine Peardon: I love this studio. The staff is kind, it’s clean, everyone who goes is very welcoming and the staff are extremely talented. I always felt challenged in the classes and miss this studio now that I’m back on Vancouver Island!
L N: Fantastic and welcoming studio. I love how bright, open and CLEAN the space is. It's a slice of zen right downtown. The bike rocks upstairs are an added bonus that I can ride my bike to the studio and have it kept safely inside while I stretch. Great classes with a diverse crowd where everyone belongs.
Delphine Marion: You’ll be in great hands here :)
Sherry Hsu: It’s a great independent studio that is well run, inclusive, and clean. The instructors are experienced and know the students. It’s a beautiful space and there are different types of classes to choose from
Ryan Schebek: Stretch studio has been a lifeline for me! Especially Risto's Yin classes. They have made me more resilent to stress and tension. As well improved function and decreased pain in other parts of my life. I thought I had chronic back pain until these classes! Much appreciation, life changing !!

Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Yaletown: what do users think?
Ghazal: Oxygen Yaletown is the second Oxygen studio that I’ve been to and it turned out to be better that the first one (Surrey Center studio). They are located at Richards and Smithe. The girl at the front desk was nice and helpful. The washroom, showers, and lockers are located in the fitting room. The lockers have locks on them already so you don’t need to bring one.I went to the HIIT and Sculpt class and was happy with both the class and the instructor, Carlos. The room was really packed though. There were at most 10 inches of space between the mats and that made some of the movements very hard. The room is heated so make sure to hydrate we’ll be the class and bring water with you.Overall, other than the number of people in the class, I was happy with the experience.
Nitin Goyal: Rude receptionist! Other Oxygen Yoga places are way better, do not waste your money here.
Aaron Ottho: Great instructors who are clear in instructions. Always a good workout. Bring your water bottle.
Keisha Gratton: The customer service skill at this location is highly lacking compared to the other locations I have been to. It takes over a week to get a response via email and that's only after repeatedly following up and asking for a response. Accidentally signed up at this location instead of the one in my neighborhood and even though I did not attend a single class they still refused to give me a refund for the first month. For a place that is claiming to uphold such positive values this is beyond disappointing and greedy.
Katherine Cornelius: I am so grateful for the staff and other members of the studio. This morning after class my vehicle was broken into and everyone was so kind and helpful. My apologies for not getting her name, but the woman working the front desk was SO HELPFUL.Not only are the people amazing… the classes are great too.
Amandeep Gill: Very friendly staff. janissa did an awesome job running the class, great work out. Highly recommended visiting this studio.
Adrián Ramírez Romero: Lovely place and instructors, definitely your place to go if you're downtown and want to relax and spoil your soul and body.
Maria Cruz Hernández Arroyo: For the price you paid they should limit the amount of people in the studio. The room is way to small to fit us all plus all our belongings now that the change rooms are closed. The classes and teachers are great but the yoga mats are spaced literally 10 cm. It is really hard to focus on the exercises when you are all the time trying not to hit anyone close to you. Also, even if we are all vaccinated, it doesn't feel safe to be in a heated room with no social distance at all. Hope they reconsider the number of reasonable spots that room actually fits.
Emily Phillips: I LOVE businesses that promote vaccine passports! It makes me feel safer knowing those around me in a smaller confined INDOOR area are also taking precautions to avoid getting sick. Thank you!!! Looking forward to joining your fitness studio soon
S LD: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Caroline Cavalcante: Will never support a business that promote vaccine passports and segregation of our society. Shame on you all. Not healthy practice at all. What will you do and who will you blame when these vaccines keep continuing the transmission between the ones that comply??
Shayna Populos: Positive:Communication
Maggie Sung: Clean studio, great classes and high quality instructors
Ivan Lys: Critical:CommunicationThey Don't reply to emails. I'm sure the studio is good but having basic questions answered is not possible. Not professional.
Grace S: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Qualityrevised review: They found the issue, reverted unauthorized payments for me and apologized, very rarely for gyms/fitness studios these days. Fitness classes are awesome and hope to come back after pandemic is over.
Ron Stevens: Local fitness studios are tough businesses to run, especially now but so useful and valuable to a community! At least until Amazon figures out a way to destroy that business too.Since the return and new distancing protocols are in place that limits classes to 15 people, this studio manager did a good job of navigating through the issues and got much better as a result. The new changes only improved the overall experience and even without changeroom usage, it's just better! The teachers did a great job with the online classes and are even better now in live classes. The front reception and management are all very good, patient and pleasant.Suggestions.Offer some new quiet classes without music or classes with no loud music, only calming music that appeals to everyone.
Tara Williams -she, her - Vancity: The trainers at Oxygen Yaletown are amazing! So energetic and leave me in puddles on the floor by the time I’m finished one of their workouts! ❤️🙏
Heather Valentino: Visiting from Toronto and had a great time at the fast and furious class this morning!! Thank you for being so welcoming!!
Jen Han: One of the yoga instructor that I don't know if she usually practices yoga for her self. The class was mess. She explained the gesture only with words, so the students were busy seeing other people's movements. In the middle, the teacher finally did some moves, but he could hardly do them. I doubt if she really enjoys yoga and does her own training to share good energy with us.
A Kaushik: Very rude staff. I have been trying to call these girls to book something and every time I call I get rude unhelpful replies. Since we get corporate discount hence I was trying to call them to see that may be today my luck may shine and someone will reply in a positive helpful way but No. they r really rude and when u ask them name so that you could take the matter to the manager they hang up on you.If this is how they treat initially I wonder how they would treat after taking money.
Geoffrey Scoates: Great studio, the teachers are fantastic and the people are the front are friendly (special shout of to Kat and Larissa) and very helpful. Make sure you read the description of the classes before hand because some of the classes can be very different from each other, but they're all good.

Modo Yoga East Vancouver: what do users think?
Simon Cheng: Great friendly staff and instructors. The change room/shower stalls are plenty and spacious. I attended the karma class and there was no music, unlike the original moksha yoga style. Nonetheless I will be back for more practice. Thank you for the great venue.
Chloe Sullivan: I went here on a Sunday, first time going to a hot yoga class in Vancouver, so I didn't have a mat and wasn't very prepared. The staff were so friendly and understanding! The instructor in the class was great and not only did I feel like I got a good workout/stretch but also very calm. A great end to my weekend.
H B: I had a beautiful Sunday afternoon at a soundbath workshop. This is a beautiful location with lots of plants and natural elements
Matt Coombe: My favourite studio downtown! Friendly staff, awesome location, great space, and phenomenal atmosphere when the room's full & everyone's breathing - I love it!
Michael Cacho: Melissa was an amazing instructor and made the class fun. However, Modo crams 40 students into a medium size room that you are side by side with less than 6 inches between you and another mat or wall. It feels like a middle seat on a 737 long haul flight. I would recommend they increase their price by $1-$2 per class but cut the capacity to allow more space and a better experience without impacting their revenue. I am unlikely renew my starter pass.
Lana Lepper: I absolutely love modo yoga. We moved to this neighborhood seven years ago, because this studio was here. We have loved being a part of the community and have enjoyed watching it flourish and thrive. I highly recommend!
WP Z: 🙏🙏

Allie J: Moto is a place for all it is lovely and inviting with just the right amount of heat. It's not overbearing me it's just warm enough to get you moving and sweating with ease. Everyone that works there is kind and open to conversation. It is a great place to start or end your day. The bathrooms are well kept it is neat and organized. The booking system is quite easy.
Carl Sager: I found it a calm and helpful place to be . And super clean.
Hilary Klose: By far the best yoga studio in Vancouver! Staff and instructors are friendly and always willing to help. The studio also follows all covid requirements when it comes to social distancing and sanitation.
Ashley Campbell: I’ve been coming to this studio since I moved to Vancouver last year and have been in love ever since. The staff at this studio are super friendly and welcoming, the yoga is high quality, and during these unprecedented times the staff have done an exceptional job of enforcing and respecting social distancing and cleanliness. This space has become my home yoga studio!
Yun Liu: My favorite yoga place in Vancouver! Love all the instructors, they are very knowledgeable and helpful! They always ask you to go with how your body feels. So if you are new to yoga or hot yoga, this is a good place to start! I have been to this studio for almost half an year now, and it has significantly improved my life both mentally and physically.
AJ Ess: Was my first hot yoga experience and it was very relaxing. Staff is friendly. Will be coming back for more classes.
Jacqueline Mayne: Absolutely love this place. The studio is always really clean, the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are lots different types of classes throughout the day to suit pretty much any schedule. They offer drop in, punch card, or monthly passes.
Lisa Letostak: They were really nice when I ran late for class, but the room for a yin class was still really hot from hot yoga, so I left. I was going to go out after class & wouldn’t have been sweaty afterward, but now I am after being in the room for 2 minutes & I didn’t get to do the class I wanted & I’m out $20.
David: Great instructors and staff. Chill vibe. Community-focused organization

Jonathan Polak: I really like it here. Very small class sizes, 2-3 students at a time. It's the only yoga where I can actually connect with breathing.
