SN: Had a great time here with my friends making necklaces. The store can get very busy and there is limited seating (about 6-8 chairs which on a quieter day is fine but for a busy day during spring break it can be very busy).

Kasandra Alfonso: My two friends and I visited today and we were helped by Chloe. She assisted us with creating our custom made necklaces and one of us also made an anklet. Everything turned out gorgeous and just the way we envisioned our pieces to look. Chloe was very kind, helpful, and patient. The store was busy and one of the employees explained that they were short staffed, but you could tell that they were all working hard to make sure everyone was helped. We will definitely come back to make some more custom jewelry! Such a wonderful experience.
Alice San: Went there to make a bracelet yesterday, staff were super friendly and helpful, so many different beads and charms to choose from! I also ended up buying a keychain yesterday, but the wire that was holding up the beads broke as soon as i got home which is why i gave two stars… the keychain was super cute but i guess the quality wasn’t the best… kinda bummed out but at least my bracelet looks cute?¿

LF: was hoping to bring our friend to this place to make jewelry as an activity for her birthday. unfortunately they were not accepting any more jewelry-making for the day due to time, but one of the employees (might be the manager?) felt bad and came up with different options to make sure my friend left the store with something nice. she was soo helpful and patient with us, offering different styles of pendants and putting the bracelet together all within the last hour of closing. Thanks for your help, will certainly return :)

katie: OMG probably my favourite store ever as someone who makes handmade jewelry! they have an incredible selection of all kinds of beads. some of their things I would say are a bit overpriced (you pay per bead/charm) for being bought wholesale off aliexpress or similar sites, but you're paying for the convenience I guess :) lots of high quality glass beads.they do also have a large selection of findings and chains as well and you can come in and make your own necklace or bracelet in house with beads you pick out!
Chloe B: The staff were really nice and helpful, and it was a super fun experience but unfortunately after only a week or two of having a phone charm on my phone it broke. I was very careful to not use put weight on the charm but somehow after only a week, when I just picked up my phone (not even touching the charm at all) the wire broke and all the beads just flew everywhere. I really enjoyed the experience but I really do wish the quality was a bit better.

The team was very empathetic and offered a new phone charm to be made. As I was visiting Vancouver on a trip, they even had a new charm mailed over to me which I really appreciated! They were able to make the charm exactly how I first created it which I am super grateful for. I truly appreciate them reaching out to have this resolved and praise their customer service.Thank you again!...The workers at beadwork’s were super friendly and made making phone charms a really fun experience! Unfortunately I have to give a 1 star for the quality. I was told at checkout that the phone charm could hold up to 7lb which I seriously doubted and because of that I did not dare to use the phone charm to hang my phone on my wrist, instead I used it simply as decoration. Sadly exactly 1 week after making it I grabbed my phone and the wire broke and my beads were scattered everywhere. Very disappointed as it cost me over $15 to make and it broke very easily.

Ramona D'Souza: This is not a store for an experienced beader; it is more a place to buy beads for stringing. They have a large selection of pretty little lampwork beads, plus a small selection of fire polish, crystals and findings. They also have seed beads. Alas, nothing is labelled, so it's hard to know the provenance of the goods and hence, the quality.Paying is an extremely annoying experience. One employee takes your beads and walks around the store looking for them individually, to yell out the price to the employee at the cash register. Since the store is busy and noisy, this is obviously an error-prone process, so they charged me for 9 lampwork beads when I only bought 8. It wasn't really worth it to get back in line for $3, but if they do this to everyone, they've got a nice little con going on there.
jennika marie: me and my friend went to go make friendship bracelets and had a fun and pleasant time. the employees were very nice and patient even though it was quite busy. loved how our bracelets turned out! 10/10 would go again!

It was a super fun experience and I will definitely come back soon :)( However, I felt sorry for the staff as one of the customers was being quite rude to them. It is a very busy store and they are doing an amazing job)

Jesse White: These beads are incredibly high quality, definitely exceeded my expectations. After grinding them up I was able to extract the crystals from these beads to create healing incense that I was able to channel into my third eye chakra, which instantly granted me the spiritual energy that I needed for healing after long periods of astral projection and casting hexes on the demons that stray into the physical plane of our world. Please be careful though, these crystals are very powerful and overuse may cause great spiritual injury.

Harran Shi: Small but got plenty of things you need. I like their crystal selections they got some really really colourful fluorite pieces and their clear quartz are very pretty too. I like the necklaces they hang around the shop they are very colourful. I also like that you can bring your pet into the shop like a friendly neighborhood place. The staff are very friendly.

Gabrielle Lamoureux: It's good I don't live near here or I'd be out of money! A phenomenal mix of cheap cute beads and more precious ones, as well as chains and other supplies. I got some faceted emerald at a great price, and some cute plastic pendants for like a dollar. Love it!

But a bad interaction with someone (worker/owner?) has me not wanting to support this business any longer.Also her response is somewhat true. She did not however “offer me a better price than listed” that is a blatant lie. Nice attempt at smiling through trying to rip me off though.Buy your beads online for better prices and customer service.

Giulia Comin: This store has a great selection of not only beads but all sorts of tools and accessories, and it's really fun to just browse around the many colourful bins of materials. But most importantly, all the staff were super helpful and gave fantastic advice on how to fix/update the pieces of jewellery I brought in. Although due to covid they are not currently offering a jewellery repair service, they suggested materials which I took home and was able to make the simple repairs successfully and very cheaply despite absolutely no experience. Thank you to everyone who helped me today!
Google Guide: Amazing store with literally hundreds of different beads. They sell the needed accessories too. This place is a Vancouver fixture, if you know about beads. Staff are friendly and helpful (and well staffed). As of posting date they are open for in-store shopping. Street meter parking. They do have a shared lot behind their building. #letsguide #covid

Matrac LM: Just a little update 8 months later - still very good service, just watch out for the occasional 1% off on some items when they have a sale. Make sure you really take the time to see how much is the sale when you shop. Other than that, very good online bead shop. Very solid business practices: they put the clients first, are very quick to answer to emails. I do business with them almost exclusively, and I was once sent different seed beads than the ones I had purchased. When I brought this to their attention through email, they immediately apologized and proceeded to send me the beads I wanted free of charge, letting me keep the ones they sent by mistake. Very trustworthy bunch and their prices are quite fair.
