Manju: I went to the store today to purchase laptop.Our associate,loveleen assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though She has told us about the warranty plan . Its a great service by Loveleen.
K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.

Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎
mayuri mammai: Today I happened to go to this store to buy mac book, and at the billing counter, unfortunately, my Credit card chip is malfunctioning, this person named Mathesh started giving me looks and showing an unnecessary attitude, without even looking at my card he said it was expired, as I was trying multiple times inserting my card, he was acting it out. I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄

Even though I had plans to buy later as I went just to look for the options,I ended up finalising the laptop as I was convinced Great service by Aman.
Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment.In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.

They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises.Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.

Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. I placed an order online, then went and picked it up. I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.

Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.

Today, Prab being helpful did an awesome job finding not only the stylus pen but also the power cable included with the box. Emily Kimber: DO NOT GO HERE. They permanently messed up my phone so badly. I had a 13 pro, it was super new, I had a cracked screen and got it replaced here. Turns out they took out an important part when replacing the screen and didn’t put it back and it caused my phone to never be the same. The screen wasn’t the same, it was so hard to type. The reason I know it’s missing a part is because the screen broke again 2 WEEKS LATER IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT by just a tap. I didn’t drop it. Something tapped the screen and it broke again. They also lied and said they put on a glass screen protector but it was a cheap plastic one… I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed again, and the guy that replaced it told me they kept the part that was needed for my phone to go back to normal. If I could give 0 stars to this place I would.
Don Campbell: Went to 4339 Dunbar Street where that guy said $570 plus tax with a 3 day wait to change my screen, he said don't bother checking elsewhere in the city because my phone is rare, called CellFixx and boom 💥 in an hour was replaced for WAY less the price! Thx guys!

Jodie Johnson and Conor Murphy: I went to Cellfixx with a shattered iPod Touch 7th Generation. The iPod was not functioning and I assumed it was headed for the recycling bin. Kasim assured me it was fixable and provided me with a fixed quote. Less than 48 hours later he had sourced a replacement screen and it is now functioning like new. I would recommend Cellfixx without any reservations.
Carlo Sammarco: My 2017 S8 Active was completely dead. Visited 3 other repair places. They all said it wasn't fixing. I was in the area and decided I'd give Cellfixx a try. They ordered the part (without even having to open it up!). 2 days later, my phone is back in action. It's clear to me that these guys love what they do and they are good at it (unlike the three other "repair" places I had previously visited). This is now my go-to place for cell repair. Thanks guys!

Trevor Makela: I can't say enough bad things about this store and my experience. My "Samsung experience"I have been to this store about 5 or so times in the past year after purchasing a Samsung s22 ultra last June.Every single visit I am met with the most pretentious indifferent sneering customer service greeting, the workers are not happy to be there and not happy to help you, they are there as cardboard cutouts for you to make your multi thousand dollar purchase. Honestly out of the 10 or so staff I have interacted with only 2 would be what I consider normal to good (normal) customer service.The next problem is that they are apparently short staffed and maybe that explains a lot of the attitude problem or maybe the attitude problems are why they can't hire and retain. So not only are they in a bad mood but they are over worked and unavailable.I have a long story about the horrible customer service trying to get my expensive flagship smartphone repaired (under a year old), the short version is I am extremely disappointed with the level of care Samsung has for their customers who are going without a phone, they seem to expect someone in the modern world to be fine with waiting over a week for their issue to be resolved. I challenge anyone at Samsung to go a week without being able to make phone calls.This store and my experience with this store is going to weigh heavily when I upgrade my phone in another year or so. I like the hardware but the shopping and customer service standards are a solid 1☆ and I of course have been ranting to friends and family about my experience. They say it's time to get an iPhone again.

Rosemary F: I went in last week and had problems with the phone, plus I had dropped it and it was an older model. Turns out got water damage from the diagnostic test they did so bought a new phone. The time was to long see anyone long however the staff are great very helpful and do the best to accommodate. What you use phone for and how and recommend what should be best for you. They transfer everything over all the data from the old phone to the new one and make sure everything is good before you delete all stuff on the old phone. Give you a few tips on function of the new phone. Just wish could book in advance very busy store and great staff. Thanks very much appreciated .

Bottom line, go somewhere else as there is no way they can sell one of the flagship phones here. They don't even know their own product!
Trevor Langvand: Should be called the Samsung BAD Experience Store..Went in here for service - They declined my warranty request due to a tiny shallow crack on a camera lens, totally unrelated to the issue I was having.The staff seem to be dulled to upset customers - happy to blame Samsung for any bad news and don't show any empathy whatsoever.Left it for repairs and they told me it would be ready the following day at the latest. An hour later I get a call that they don't actually have the parts so I could leave it over the weekend or pick it up.The next week I had to give up trying to reach them by phone as they wouldn't answer and instead went directly to Samsung who said there was NO ticket created for this repair so no way for them to follow up on any of the part details.Now, instead of wasting more time dealing with the store I just mailed it in. The repair WAS covered under warranty.Update: They called me 6 weeks later to tell me it was still on backorder and that I should instead mail it in. In the end, I am grateful for their incompetence as I got it repaired under warranty. I will not be setting foot in this store again!

I asked for repair under the one warranty but they refused to do because they assume that the phone has been damaged by the customer. I contacted Samsung online customer service and they checked that there has been few similar cases as mine. They said I can get a free repair at this store so I came back but again, this store refused to fix and they repeatedly offer to by a new phone instead even after I showed the chat.I took my phone to Korea and guess what? They don't care if it's from Korea or not. Telling me that the display wasn't damaged by me at all and it's just an issue with ZFp4. I got FREE repair, only took them ONE day to fix and had GREAT service attitude. Such a professionals.

I was having an issue with my phone and Bela was the one who helped me the couple times I was there. She was extremely efficient, helpful and kept me updated throughout the whole process. After one month when I called them, I was told to come and take the refund!!!! After one month! I didn't feel judged at all or the need to explain my social services worker occupational hazards.The sales rep listened to what I needed (just a phone that won't fall apart upon updates or an client's behavioural emergency please) and hooked me up with an affordable screen protector and solid brick. He even put my screen protector on my phone for free because he "does it all the time . . .if [I] have a few minutes just grab and coffee [he'll] be happy to take care of it."Super tight experience that I didn't expect from a big box store. Will totally be back when gravity and my union benefits fail me (3 weeks and as many updates in- still going strong!)I'll always pop into freegreek first but this is my first line for retail phones. Barton Moxness: Was very disappointed with my experience at this location. I was keen on upgrading a device through my existing provider (Shaw Mobile) to the Google Pixel 6 Pro. The amortized cost I was quoted worked out to a monthly rate of approximately $200 more than buying the phone outright, including a shady $45 'upgrade fee'. I informed that the device could not be purchased outright due to internal policies. Very suspect.I informed the sales associate, Alex, that I would like to first call my provider and explore the best course of upgrade since the price quoted worked out to more than the outright purchase. When asked if the phone in stock had multiple units available, I was told 'maybe' and that they would not be willing to let me know if the phone would be available should I return within the hour. This is downright poor customer service and bad business practice. Bid a respectful farewell to the associate and walked immediately out the way I came in. Will not be returning.I was able to purchase the phone direct from Google a few moments later for $1179 after being told the cost was $1,320 + $45 upgrade fee from Bestbuy Mobile. The same exact phone, brand new, not on sale or discount.

Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.
Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.

I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.

Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.

Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Gabrielle Zeitler: This review is not specific to Park Royal Best Buy, but Best Buy as a whole.We purchased a dishwasher, the installation fee, and the haul away fee. When the contractors came, I mentioned to them that we paid to have our old dishwasher taken away as well (a separate fee) but they said they knew nothing about it. They then left without taking the old dishwasher.When we I contacted customer service at Best Buy to handle this, I was passed around to 4 different people before being told that only one department handled these inquiries, and that they can only be reached by phone (fine).I have called this department over 10 times within their office hours and they either do not pick up, or do not offer solutions. I have spoken to so many different people and no one has been helpful. We have even tried offering solutions, but they say none of them can be done. It has been a very frustrating experience and my old dishwasher is still sitting outside my house.

Went up to the cash to pay and then got told they’re 112.99 I refused and showed them the picture of the price it was posted at and they refused to give it to me at that price because the product didn’t match the tag. I brought up the fact that if it was still wrong they’d have to honour it and take 10 dollars off because it is a law, they still refused to give it at the price and I had asked for the manager. The manager walked over and was told the situation and they just nodded their head and didn’t say anything . Very disappointed in the service that was provided, if your staff knows that the product is in the wrong place then there should be proper tags for the products. I will not support this location of Best Buy. I have a friend that works at Best Buy and it’s posted in the back on a plague that if products are in the wrong place they must honour the pricing and taking 10 dollars off.

D S: Best buy has a lot of good deals, but money is better spent on amazon if you're doing an online order. Best buy uses Purolator and your packages almost never get delivered. Amazon actually delivers your packages to your door. With Purolator, you'll be chasing down your package, calling them and messaging them to ask them to hold your package at their location, after which you need to take the bus out there. This is REALLY inconvenient to Best Buy customers, I would suggest they review this and see how they can make it better! Perhaps the Purolator shipping information could contain a Buzzer Number field, and phone number field to help the drivers actually deliver the package? If you need a signature, you might as well just have them leave a slip and have the customer pick it up from a Purolator office. Purolator fails to deliver packages 9/10 times. Best Buy definitely needs to review this, because it's not working the way it is.

I still bought a phone cause of price matching or else would just walk away.

For some reason they closed the mall exit till like 10 minutes before closing? I get that it’s a holiday but for someone who want to support employment it makes it hard not shop at Amazon instead. What I can not understand is a cashier who does not know their payment policies. He did not know what their tap machine limit was, and had to constantly intercom his manager for help. When I asked him about the return policy, he pulled out his phone to Google what the policy was.This location is essentially a self-serve station. There is no positive input from any of the staff, and it’s a better use of your time to do everything yourself. Best Buy please reconsider how your staff benefit your customers and business.This experience has deterred me from ever considering purchasing from Best Buy again. There are many other better retailers who can provide information and customer service in store.

They charged me an extra $2300 dollars for a replacement phone and then sent me a broken phone. It looks new but it keeps rebooting on its own. Not seldom, some times it happens 4 times in one hour. clearly a broken phone. The replacement phone wasn't even the same color as the original phone. To top it off when I called the customer service they keep telling me there is no supervisor in today and they will call me back but it has been over a week and I still haven't heard back from them. What a horrible experience. I strongly advise not to use this company and what ever you do, DON'T GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!

He told me to walk over to Geek Squad (his gestures and body language made it seem as if I was going to hurt him lol).The guy working at Geek Squad told me to wait in the area I needed help at. I literally had to approach him for assistance. He called over another associate, but she didn't know much about cameras, so she called over another worker named Steven.Steven was very knowledgeable and assuring when it came to answering my questions about camera storage. It literally took about an hour or so to wrap the whole procedure including all formalities + insurance process and selecting the phone accessories. The representative - Neeraj was kind enough to assist me with ease and explain the process. Also, there was some issue with my credit score in the system. He immediately called customer support and got that sorted. I am impressed with best buy service all over and would recommend trying it.

Kenneth Lai: Best Buy 是北美洲最有名的電器商店。而且在列治文這裏也是最大的。他們供應的產品很廣泛:例如電視機,電腦,雪櫃,煮食爐,洗碗碟機,吸塵機,電視遊戲機,音響器材。。。。。他們的銷售員很專業。看得出他們有經過專業的訓練。因為每次我們詢問有關問題,他們也可以即時給予我們答覆。尤其是一些廚房用品。我們查詢有關吸塵機的一些事項,他們也用最快時間回答我們的問題。Best Buy 市場觸覺也相當敏銳。就好像現在正式進入夏季,已經可以看見他們把冷氣機放在最當眼的地方。而且有趣的是他們會將最熱門的東西做特價。當然受益最終也是我們消費者。他們的銷售員沒有回傭,所以不會像其他售賣電器的商店會不斷追問客人。反而他們會在你在需要協助的時候出現。這一點的確是相當成功的做法。

A A: Worst ever sales and service experience in Best Buy Richmond lansdowne Center.I paid 15,000$ for the whole house appliances in last June 2022 and still waiting for the delivery it’s March 2023Just getting calls that we will deliver you soon.Hope to go legal to get my appliances. Un professional Managment at this location.Just snatching money from people.
Fiona Zhu: We are here for one hour, trying to purchase a washer and dryer, but no one is available for placing an order for us. It’s ridiculous that the store is open, but they literally didn’t schedule any staff for the washer/dryer department. Seriously bestbuy, if you can’t afford paying your staff, you should consider shut the store down

Vivian Wu: The sales person tried to sell the monthly plan from Geek Squad. That's a monthly plan charging you $ 26.94 and you can get your computer bought in the store fixed if there is any problems. We didn't have many chances to use this service so we want to cancel this plan after about half an year. The process of cancellation is not easy. They don't let you do it in the store but to use the web site's live chat. I've waited for 20 minutes and during this 20 minutes, I have to come back to live chat page to check if the agent is on the screen otherwise, my screen would be terminated. So I waited for the agent to talk to me and was told there is a cancellation charge of $ 9.54. Friends don't ever trust Best Buy's any plans. They charge you monthly but not much help. You don't have that many computer problems happening every month. It is totally a waste of money. And they charge you for the cancellation just because my plan was premium and there was a "liquid damage". Who the hell knows what that means if you don't have that much computer knowledge. They put this in the terms & conditions but the sales person didn't mention about this at all. If there is a fee like this, I wouldn't have singed up for this plan in the first place.

Wayne Harfman: Had one of the worst customer experiences of my life, I went to the mobile phone kiosk to get some information to return my phone and received nothing but attitude and aggression from a young lady that seemed to have a problem with me asking valid and appropriate questions. I do not recommend this store as the employees and manager services provided are extremely rude and Inconsiderate. Especially at the mobile phone kiosk.

Ant L: Asked an employee I was looking for a hard drive for a macbook that didn't require an adapter, he sold me one for 90 bucks that I later found out needed an adapter, I tried returning it but they said if there's nothing wrong with it then I couldn't get a refund. So I ended up having to buy an adapter for 30 bucks, I'm now down 120 bucks for something I didn't even ask for. I couldve just went on Amazon and bought what I was looking for for 30 bucks instead. Left the store feeling like I just got robbed. Terrible customer service with no accountability. You guys just lost a life time customer.
0b1DoN: The gong show that happened on Black Friday night of 2022(Koodo 45/50gig plan) Calvin you & your crew did an awesome job. Even with the issue with my account from switching carries, it took a while but you guys managed to take care of it. I will recommend this Best Buy branch to all my family and friends.

Great service from Sarthak who took the time - during a busy day - to provide product knowledge and best products that met our needs. High level of knowledge and service from this employee!!! Wonderful experience.Best Buy. There has to be a better way to acknowledge employees who go above and beyond. Tried the "chat" and the 1-888 number. Both sites gave awful service and information how to recognize an employee.
Alice Pu: The employee Safa from the Apple Section was so incredibly helpful! It was Black Friday sale and everything was hectic, but she had incredible customer service skills. I came in looking to buy gifts within a price range, but no idea what I wanted, and she brought me through so many possibilities and options with so many ideas. Definitely one of the best customer experiences I have ever had!

An associate named VAN got the laptop for him and tried to sell him the membership and warranty, he told her politely that it’s covered from his bank and he didn’t need the membership cuz he doesn’t shop much! That girl kept pressuring him soooo muchhh like he would die without the membership. The managers should make it clear to the staff that it is OPTIONAL. My brother ended up not even getting the laptop. Next day, I went with him and she was the only one to help so we had to ask her for the laptop. This girl again goes on telling me about the membership and when I say no, she goes all about discounting. I thought it was just us who were taking it the wrong way, so I wanted some time to browse and calm down. Meanwhile, I saw her helping another customer who was saying it’s not in my budget and she still kept going on and forced them to get into it. Basically, SHE PRESSURES A PERSON TO THE POINT WHERE HE/SHE GETS UNCOMFORTABLE. I did not like my last interaction in computers department and I don’t think I will ever shop any laptop from this store ever. But YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR ASSOCIATE, BECAUSE THAT IS NOT THE WAY YOU SELL. I don’t understand why do you hire such illiterate, inhuman people who cannot understand customer’s situation. I wonder if the managers don’t check on their staff the way they are selling, or do you just see the numbers!! I am very frustrated from this employee “Van” of yours, she needs to learn some basic etiquettes first.
Ray Ng: Prices are fair at this location, along with a great selections.If you want something that is not in stock, they can order it in.Items have to be "Paid In Full" and "In Advance"Special orders are all done through market place sellers.All the staff helped me out through this process.You can't ask for anything better.If your a person like myself who live in the middle of North Delta and Surrey Central.I would one hundred percent recommend you to come to this location.Customer service wise this store is much much better by far.The staff at the Whalley store, have no patience and are very rude!All I got from there was I don't know. I don't know. I dont know.I went into Whalley first, looking for the item that are in the pictures, got no help and ended up coming into this location.Will definitely be coming back for more.Recommending the Scott Road and 80th store with no hesitations.
