Strategies Games & Hobbies: what do users think?
Jacob: Fairly small but good selection of boardgames, not much magic.
megafun forever: Very relaxing and fun place
Ken Regehr: Awesome store, friendly knowledgeable staff and an amazing assortment of hard to find games. This place is great!
Lucas Konschuh-Beer: Super friendly staff, lots of stock for all your hobby needs and hassle free ordering of anything they don't have
J Jackson: Great selection and friendly staff.
Cecilia Mok: A well stocked games store with helpful and chill staff. They have a great selection of games for all ages here.
Abby Nicole: Great selection of DND figurines & books, as well as board games.
Steve Lemky: My favorite game shop and the unofficial game store of Thunderbowl, the lowermainland's premiere blood bowl league. Love this store!
Leah Chatfield: Great selection and helpful staff!
Charles: The staff are not friendly nor helpful. They don’t seen to like their jobs and seemed rude.
Bob O: They do not carry a wide selection of paint if that is what you are after, but otherwise a fantastic local game store
Michelle Oh: helpful staff
Pedro Medeiros: Awesome and helpful staff. They are always very well stocked on board games and RPG books
Jack Aurelius: Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great selection
Matt Blatz: Fantastic selection, knowledgeable staff. 10/10
Gab Houghton: The shop is clean and well laid out. After 5 visits over a year, the staff are still rude and short- more motivated to get you to leave quickly. Asking a question about the products is often met with an eyeroll. Online shopping may be preferable.
Steve Miller: I've been coming to Strategies for a while but I don't find the staff to be all that friendly or engaging. In my experience, they don't seem to try very hard to foster loyalty, rapport or repeat business. For example, despite having spent hundreds of dollars there, I had to negotiate pretty hard just to return one unopened paint pot. This experience, combined with their pretty high prices, makes me want to look at discount online retailers instead. Still, 3 stars for a good selection in stock.
Anand Sriganeshar: Good selection and knowledgeable staff make this a great local option for board games & table top games.
Jerry: When I asked for a recommendation for a nice family game, Gopaul (spelling?) gave us a few of his personal recommendations. Everyone there was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Above all, they all seemed passionate about what they do. Will definitely be back.
Tully Pinkerton: Great selection of boardgames, wargames, and RPGs. If they don't have it, they'll gladly order it in for you.
Badger and Yew: Always love this store! Really great game selection and amazing people!

Games on The Drive: what do users think?
Fausto Inomata: They have several games I haven’t seen in other stores. Staff is super friendly! It’s become my favourite place in Vancouver
Andrew Gearhart: A hidden gem of a board game and TTRPG shop a few blocks away from the Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station. Don't let the small size fool you! This brightly lit, well organized shop has a fantastic selection of popular, hobbyist, and niche titles. Their TTRPG selection is also great with books from many different publishers and the dice to go with. Finally, that staff are relaxed and yet eagerly helpful and knowledgeable.
Hastings Sunrise: These guys must love losing money! I travelled from afar only to find ridiculous 'Masks Required' signs on the front door. It's January 2023... Imagine chasing away customers like that.
Nic D'Angelo: Really great little store, packed with awesome games and goodies, staff is also really friendly and helpful.
Samantha Stade: Love this place
Cat ferris: Yay, thank you for still requiring masks for those of us that don’t want to get sick!
Fady Bert: The store has a very wide variety of board games. The sales rep was awesome, we asked him for games recommendations and he kept suggesting multiple games based on the games we had played before. He was very knowledgeable of the games he has in the store.
Jake Gibson: A fantastic store with incredibly friendly staff. Home to the best curated selection of games and books I've ever seen.
Kip Y: Friendly staff, definitely worth the extra effort to support local instead of giant retail corporations.
Nick: Good little shop that carries a great range of board games.
Rory Brimacombe: Great staff and selection!
Dandelion Thief: Tiny space packed floor-to-ceiling with games. So many games. A clown car amount of games. This is the perfect game store, condensed down small enough to fit in your pocket.Prices, especially for Magic cards, consistently lower than any other shop I know ofProbably single handedly inflating the property values for several blocks in every direction, as people move homes in order to live closer to this store
Jasmine Lemelin: went on a busy Christmas Eve for a last minute game, and the staff member working was very helpful and knowledgeable. A small shop with a wide selection of one of a kind games as well as the classics. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for something new!
Jade Konechy: I’ve never been so betrayed by a shop keeper before.I went in with my boyfriend waiting outside and asked if there was any root like games, he suggests a couple, I buy one, my friend and I exit but my boyfriend wants to go back in.I go in after a while to make sure no accidental hints come up, and when he tells the shop keep his favourite game is Root, HE PULLS OUT A GAME MADE BY THE SAME PEOPLE, WITH THE SAME ART, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT PRESENT.Looks were exchanged behind my boyfriends back as he did not hesitate to buy the copy of the game that would have been the PERFECT PRESENT.Edit: I brought back the game I bought that day and exchanged it for more stuff that I think would make a better present, and some other stuff, staff was very friendly and very helpful!
Gus Fowler: Great little game store! Good prices and selection.
Natsu Fujita: Small store but has a good selection of games.
Jasmine: Not for people looking for d&d books etc
Patrick Hung: There's a lot of selection for such a small shop!
Cam Marshall: Terrific little shop with amazing selection, great prices and kind staff 💜 well worth the trip out next time you’re considering ordering a game online!
Corey Baker: Awesome little board game shop on The Drive. Despite the small space, they have a surprisingly broad selection of top board games. Staff was friendly and very helpful in recommending games. The prices are within single dollars of "that big online store". Enjoy the in person experience and support local business at the same time!
Flynn Dixon Murdock: Great shop with great prices for Magic the Gathering in Vancouver

Rain City Games: what do users think?
Melih Yılmaz: Great place for board and card games in general. They have a huge collection of games and single cards. Cool place for playing commander games. Also the best prizing for Magic the Gathering events in city.
The Corvid: probably the best custumor service out there
Jason J: I feel like a kid in a candy store.
Igor Petrovic (IggyPop): Amazing selection of games. Great and helpful staff.
Joshua Ji: So many selections for games and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Very clean store and great atmosphere. Enjoyed the concept of the games schedule (different activities scheduled for different days and times).Prices were a bit high but the quality of the board games also looked very good.
Matthew Ellis: Staff worked with my non carding wife to help her get cards for my card playing son.Made her feel welcomed and respected …Hmm that kind of service is commendable and will be rewarded with additional purchases from my family
PB O: Asked for recommendations for conversation and language games and didn't receive any help, so was just about to give up when another worker who worked there (Tia/Thia, I forget, I'm so sorry) overheard us, intervened, and helped me and my colleague soooo much! I will be forever grateful for her help and knowledge of the products, she was truly great at advertising. She provided us with so many options, which was really useful. She always had a smile, was really approachable, and really helped our school out. The pride I felt when my coworker and I walked back into the office to show off to our boss the fantastic haul we managed to find, for a really great price too. She really helped us out, her immaculate energy perked our mood up too, and I will recommend this store to anybody and everybody now. We will certainly be back. Thank you, ma'am!
Trevor Bradley: Great game store. Very welcoming!
Sarawut Yuttanava: ❤️❤️❤️
Cort Carpenter: I should have gone here years ago. Rad selection of games and super friendly employees. They also ordered me a game I could not find elsewhere. Even on the net. Easy ordering system in person and online. Excellent store.
Vernon Lo: Great Selection of tabletop games available
Draco: 270 for a astral radience box is insane. Go to any other Local Card Store and itll be half the priceEdit: I was a bit too harsh, but I still believe it's overpriced
planes3333: Nice staff. I came to buy some plastic figurines, (they used to make them lead) pretty fair priced. Helpful staff, the one dude lingered a bit hovering over me but I assume he was just trying to be helpful anb also in being in the downtown eastside I am sure they deal with lots of attempted thefts. I like going there lots of stuff and hopefully they will get more dragons in.
second stone: Great selection. Very knowledgeable. -1 star for prices being on average $10 more than anywhere else… Down town tax?
Gérard campos: Très sympa avec beaucoup de choix de jeux
Nereid Lake: So friendly and helpful. And if you are visiting from out of town, you can stick a pin in their world map to show where you are from!
Naiesca Wagner: I can't understand the comments about "little variety" people are either mean or really blind, the store is huge, has a lot of games, characters to color, space to play, special paints, brushes, stuffed animals. Complete, clean, organized store, with professionals who come to you and ask if you need something or are looking for something specific.
Reza Moallemi: I recently visited Rain City Games and was blown away by the selection of board games and the overall experience. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, helping me find the perfect game for my family game night. The store itself had a great atmosphere, with a wide selection of games that catered to all ages and interests. I appreciated that the staff took the time to explain the rules and mechanics of the games, making it easy to dive right in and start playing.
Johnny Tang: Cool place to play card games Yu-gi-yo, magic, pokemon and lots of boardgames and the prices are reasonable
Steven Phan: I ordered 18 of the same board game online to furnish and include it into my short term rentals because its a hot boardgame at the moment. The orders were flagged as fraud and cancelled. I called and spoke with Braden who said a manager would get back to me. I got an email from Channing who is one of the co-owners saying that it would be fine and to re-order. Then I got an email later from Andrea the other co-owner gaslighting me and making assumptions without knowing who I am. All orders cancelled again.Just trying to support small business.
Rhoss303: Great shop and nice staff. I wish there were more D n D minis to choose from. Other than that they had a decent selection of MTG and many other table top games.

Drexoll Games: what do users think?
Thomas Byrne: Popped into the shop this afternoon to look at games for me and my gf. The guy (wish I got his name, Black beard) who works there was one of the most professional people I've ever dealt with in any business. He knew exactly what to recommend for the games we currently like and play and was able to recommend different variations of what we could like. I work in enterprise sales for fortune 100 companies and this guy is one of the best sellers I've ever come across because he genuinely cares. I will be coming back for sure!
Maile Carpenter: Such a lovely experience. The shop is set up nicely, the cashier was friendly (despite my slightly grumpy attitude, sorry!) but not overbearing and very clear about where things were in the store (awesome for people like me who struggle with directions and have a slower processing time). Always intimidating to go into a game shop as a woman, and I know the bar is on the floor, but I didn't feel out of place at all which i'm super grateful for. I just wish they had a bigger dice collection. Keep up the good work gang!
Tim Woodburn: I walked into Drexoll to shop for, and ideally purchase, a travel cribbage board. I walked in and a mother and son (my assumption) were in the store shopping and a group of folks were at the back table playing a game. I looked around for what I needed. I found a case the looked like it had the boards in it but it was a closed glass case. I then walked around the shop to see if I could see anything else. Finally, after a few minutes, I wandered back to the glass case. At no point was I greeted by anyone or offered assistance. I settled down and opened the case and started rummaging to see if I could find what I was looking for. Behind me I heard someone greet and speak with the mother and son. After some time moving items in the case, pulling things out and searching, I looked up to find the person that spoke to the other customers, standing back at the game table in the rear. Finally, I put the items back in the case, glanced back at the table and left. Why no one felt the I should be acknowledged or offered assistance is baffling to me. Great customer service is rare but zero customer service is astonishing. If you're looking for a game, I'd suggest you try somewhere else.
Trevor A: Good selection of games, CCGs, and table-top RPGs. Friendly staff that was happy to give recommendations based on what we liked.
Sasan Ahmadi Asl: Little shop, not so many options on the paint and coloring section! A little unorganized in that section!
Jeff Dittmer: Wow, great help and amazing selection! If you can’t find it here I don’t think you’ll find it anywhere
Anthony Chow: Good selection of top end games, and wide variety, didn’t have some I was looking for (one was out of stock) but generally great place
Brenden V: Plenty of games for all kinds of gaming experience. The staff had plenty of recommendations for anything I asked.
Gigi Peters: Lise is super helpful every time I needed help or offering recommendations. This place is a gem and supports a local community of gamers by offering space for people to connect.
Hubert Courteau-Godmaire: Great advices to find a game for my friends and I
Tim Worthington: Absolutely fantastic selection of board games! Had a range of games that includes every style you can think of and the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful at finding the games you want.Personally picked up a Jan Sasaki game since they’re so hard to find, as well as Parks since the groups I play with tend to vary a lot in skill level.Would definitely recommend going here for all your board gaming needs
Markus Gerhard: Excellent selection of new and older games and especially Pen & Paper RPGs. I was able to find some Battletech books I’ve been searching for years. The staff was nice to chat with and to top it off I was given an oversized D20 for free.
Chad Rattie: Great selection and friendly staff
Andrew Martinez: Great store with amazing staff. These people know their stuff and are more than happy to lend a hand or provide some insight. Highly recommend
Jean-Simon Deslauriers: This place is a treasure trove for board game enthusiasts. They have a huge selection, including some long or of print stuff left. Somewhat or of the way of the city center, but if you like board games, is a must
Badger and Yew: Huge selection of games new and old. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, it's a little far from where we live but we always go when were at that end of the city. Great place for puzzles, rpg books and boardgames.
Charis Young: Amazing selection of games and resources, the staff is super friendly. One of my favorite places to browse and pick up new games.
William Vogel: Good people, always out of realeases .
John: Classic. Great staff and great selection, been coming here for years.
silberlichtchen: Have been going to this store for the past 10 years. One of the best games selections in town. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Jamie Banks: Helpful and funny staff, great selection

Brendan: Knowledgeable and friendly staff
Fluffball: Nice shopI buy Pokémon cards from here sometimes
Josh Ackermann: A small store with a broad but limited selection of games. They make up for it with high quality ones. Many thanks to staff for their great suggestions. We're still playing Calico and laughing while we do; a year later.
Jordan Ho: A smaller store location, but a nice variety of games and easy access, very close to the New Westminster sky train station! Convenient location to order online and pick-up games afterwards.
Dylan Kraemer: Great store. Great staff, super helpful.
Jazz Jazz: Very clean store, easy to find stuff, the staff there were awesome they know their games well so if you're looking for good suggestions and advice for gifts or your next game to try, deffs the ppl to ask.

Erin: One of my favourite places to pick up gaming accessories or new games. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate, and their rewards program is great!
María Sol Di Marco: Nice place, plenty of options un games
Brian Shaler: Recently got into board games. I have been to Strategies on Main and Magic Stronghold on Kingsway. This is by far the easiest place to shop. All the games are so perfectly organized and displayed. I would probably say the best selection of gateway games too. It doesn’t look like much on the outside (and being from Richmond I don’t like the location) but I could spend a lot of time poking around. The staff member wasn’t really talkative and didn’t seem to know much about the few games I was interested in, but I I called a few days before to put a hold on a game and the guy was super nice.
Sihn Pax: A bit hard to find in the small building but really cool store with awesome staff who like to talk games with you!
Alexa Reardon: We love this place! The staff are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. Great selection of games for both casual and long-time board gamers.
Ren Ipe: Cool shop, love the Pre Con MTG selections they got here!
Anson Li: The Vancouver store seems to have more inventory and options but this store is welcoming and friendly.

Core Games: what do users think?
Kelvin Liew: Friendly owner and a nice selectiom of games.
João Lima: A great selection of boardgames and other hobby goodies. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and willing to put in orders for anything not in stock. Hard not to stop by whenever I’m in Brentwood!
Aimee C: A huge boardgame collection, along with other card game items. Have purchased a few games here at a very reasonable price. Would recommend supporting and checking out. You will not be disappointed.
María Sol Di Marco: Nice place, good variety
Bernard K: It has good selection of games. It's small but you will likely find what you need (I think ?). Know what you want heading there, because I didn't find the staff friendly enough to help with the selection. He seems offended that I asked him some help, but I guess I'm also a boardgame noob!
Chayadol Lomtong: The cards price is not that bad, i guess? I think the seal price is fair. the problem is the owner. He is really grumpy with an attitude like he want to close his shop 2 hours early or something. I mean you can close? Why keep it open, if you don't want to do business.Warning, this place also half ash selling single. What i mean is he sell single but don't want to sell it. If you want single you NEED to know what you looking for otherwise the owner will make a fuzz about it. (I just asked do you sell single? He already grumpy about the question)I heard a lot of good things about this place from the review. It's kinda disappointed tbh.
Yunfa Chen: Nice store that focuses mostly on tabletop games and collectible card games
Rafael Crudi: Really great, many board games, D&D miniatures and cards. Recommend!
ash nodecker: This place is super cute for original board games to play with the family HIGHLY recommend
Kelly I: We went to buy the latest Pokemon crown zenith tin pack. The owner was very helpful and nice. My son bought it and was super happy. Prices are competitive. The tin was$13. Sharpest price in town. They have lots of selection from risk to exploding kittens. We'll be back to buy more!
dex lei: Very friendly staff and well maintained store, could use more space and play testing area for onboarding new board gamer.
Draco: Good tcg store. Kinda unorganized though
Christian V: Has a wide selection of boardgames and expansions. I always try to pop in here whenever I'm in the area.
STONER420-86: nice small local games store
Michael Schmidt (mjsoctober): Awesome store with great selection. The owner was very helpful recommending games. Lots of D&D and MTG as well!
Barbara Hansen: I was overwhelmed but my friend loved it.
Alex Liu: A geek's paridise. Lot's of gaming accessories, board games, card games, you name it.
Nicholas Singh: Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Prices are fair compared to other retail stores. Very good selection of games.
Zafreen Jaffer: Two words: mini dice!
Eva Yu: Definitely a hidden gem board game store. It's not the most orderly place, but it compensates by being a treasure trove of board games all at really great prices against local and even online competitors. I'll definitely be going back!
jobert: This store is amazing! Clean place and the dude behind the counter was awesome too. Great price. Will go back!

Jaaayyy 25: Definitely the best place in Vancouver to get retro games at an affordable price and the customer service is amazing. Would 100% recommend. They also have really cool board games
TheAnarchistKampfen: Prices weren't bad staff was very helpful the selection of what I was looking for was less then I wanted but it's hard to keep stock of what I was looking for
Alden Almonte (RedJax_Dast): Great place to play yugioh, buy and trade. They have a nice loyalty card program. You geta discount if you complete a card. They have other game you can play here too
Katsuie: Kind employees
Crumpet: I cant speak much to the magic side of things as thats not something I participate in but this place has been great for shopping D&D stuff. They were super helpful and friendly when I needed help buying books as a first time DM. Great communication and very passionate which I appreciate :)
Melih Yılmaz: Great place for games overall. They have huge catalog of MTG and other tcgs singles. Also hurray for edh events. Great place to play commander and awesome community.
Timothy Dyksterhuis: Have good prices on games workshop models and citadel paints. Also have multiple huge bins of terrain which you can use on the days that they do wargaming.

David Yates: Good selection of minis, even picked up a game I haven't been able to find at any GameStop so that was a bonus. Definitely hit up this place if you get the opportunity to!
Alex L: Went to pick up a game listed in the website. They didn't have, had never heard of it, and said the website was wrong...
Dubusaur: They refused my trading card supplies return saying it was a final sale, but this was never written anywhere.I went home and re-read the sale details and took a screenshot as proof. They later added the final sale line and claimed it was there all along.I sent them the screenshot before they updated the sale details and only then did they allow a refund. At the time of refund, they told me sale items are usually final sale. I told them that stores usually disclose this information beforehand and they replied by saying they don't know any stores like that.Their return policy also says, "You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by The Connection Games & Hobbies within 10 days of delivery for a full refund."
Basia Kowalska: Best game store in the GVA. Good prices, friendly staff, clean space, and they're always willing to make friendly conversation and keep the atmosphere safe and inclusive. Online stock is kept updated, and you have the chance to test equipment to make sure it works, or bring it back for exchange or credit. Looking forward to making this a regular stop!
Chris Jones: Tis a grand store with friendly staff.Always a good time!
Jj Kwak: Love this store. The guys working there are very chill and professional. They do a great job organizing events there every day.
Brayden Appleby: This is the place I started to play MTG at way back in RTR. The staff here have always been super helpful and knowledgeable, the community here is also very chill especially for EDH. You get a mix of power levels for decks which makes things more enjoyable in my opinion.
Phil McFadden: They gave me great advice and complimented my watch. 10 thumbs up.

Mind Game: what do users think?
Sierra Ossia: The workers here are always super friendly and it's a great place to find new games or gifts.
Kevin Padilla: Over priced on some items like trading cards. I only go here if I'm desperate to buy poemon tcg if no other store has them.
Matthew Lee: Tiny little game & hobby shop in the mall. Fairly good selection, surprisingly large selection of MTG products if you play.
Manny Angel: Cute store and Manager is funny. Was trying to get a discount for the Big Pop didn't go well lol.
Tomas Perez: One hidden gem in Metropolis, here you can find almost any board game you want, they host live sessions of different games so you can play or watch it played before buying, highly recommend giving them a visit! They have plenty of Jigsaws as well!
Jessie Guerin: Love all the different puzzles they have
William Chen: Very friendly staff. Anita was the best! She went out of her way to demo a game for us and shared all kinds of helpful advice about the board games we'd like.
Sasha Brint: Tried to get an employees attention for 10+ mins and they (David) were too busy chatting gwith a friend to help a customer. Waired to ask the other employee for help and she said nope I'm not on shift and said I'm going in my break (supervisor just finished interview) they lost a decent sale on items as I put everything down and walked out
Logan Cote: Ordered a crown zenith elite trainer box. They had them listed at 49.99. I ordered 3. They made some excuse up of limit of 1 per customer when they realized their advertising mistake. Refunded my order and stopped responding to my emails. They initially had told me they would honor 1 item at the 49.99 price but that's the best they could do. But now have simply canceled everything and ghosted me. Joke of a business who hides their mistakes by blanket excuses.
Sangwook Daniel Han: Nice store with a variety of games, figures, etc. Located a bit off the main corridor, which is probably why it's less busier than other stores but definitely worth a visit
Michelle Y.: This place has lots of cool stuff. If you like build it yourself stuff there's some awesome items here.
Alexander Humphrey: Great selection of games with friendly staff.
Milos Mandaric: Love the staff, very nice people and the DND is very excellent, only wish it was more often
Beatriz HM: Grande variedade de games, ótimo atendimento!
Darian Syde: Knowledgeable staff, who are very helpful; without being pushy! There are regularly new games, and during the slow seasons they seem to have demos
DevourerJay: Awesome store, just busy. The aisles are a tad narrow, but not too bad.
Muse: The store was a bit cramped in a wheelchair but the staff were quick to help move things around to help me out. They are incredibly friendly and sociable, great people to have a chat with while you look around. The only issue I had was my receipt which was... A little broken ^^" the total is correct, but it certainly threw me for a loop! Otherwise a 10/10 store with awesome staff and great selection.
Jonas Yoe: Love this store! Most impressed by the service we received tonight, I think his name was David (wore glasses, not positive that’s his name), he was an absolute professional and very knowledgeable on all products, helped us pick out a chess set, and some other things. Will definitely be back, thanks again!
briannocheeze: Friendly staff. Tight spacing makes in-store events a bit awkward.
Rick Kumar: Lots of quirky toys etc
Jen I: Has a great amount of games for everyone and every type of game your looking for

T & N Games - Lougheed Town Centre: what do users think?
jurgen Spang: Ravensburger puzzle with 9000 PC's.👍👍👍
Eric: Cool selections and very clean store. A bit overpriced and I found the lady that was working there to be very unfriendly and left me feeling alienated trying to ask for help.I really felt disrespected by her annoyed and impatient attitude towards my inability to correctly pronounce the names of characters and shows, dispite showing her pictures on my phone.I don’t speak Japanese and English isn’t my first language either. Sakura at Metrotown will be where I’ll be staying from now on.
Mist Stalker: Friendly local game shop with a little of everything.
Patricia Holmes: Lots of interesting games & puzzles for all ages!
Kerry Nardi: Friendly and helpful!
Jason R: This store has probably the best all-around selection of different gaming items to be found in the area.
jesse desroches: Used to be a great store before the crazy mark ups. 25%-33% difference from most LGS on sealed products.
Tim Currie: Knowledgeable and polite staff compliment an open store and large selection!
tonia peech: It was too crowded and workers are rude
Alex Ambroziak: Great selection, great staff.
F P: Great store, lots of great items
Preston J: Store has a very large variety of items which is very useful when you are looking for something specific. The location is also very convenient. However, their prices are more expensive than if you were to look online or even at other stores.
Cindy Cheong: Staffs are nice but I don’t like how the company’s policy don’t allowed refund. It’s almost scamming customers. I wasn’t aware that you can’t get a refund even though I didn’t buy the board game too long (less than 1 week). Plus, it was completely sealed and unopened. Terrible experience. I won’t ever come back again.
Andy King: I have been a MtG Collector since 1994, and recently it has been a hassle to find a place that has the Triforce: 1. good singles, 2. fair prices, and 3. knowledgable traders on staff.T&N has filled an enormous gap in good customer service that kept me away from TCG Stores for years. I finally enjoy going to a store again, and people like Graham, Amber, Connor, Dez, and Ted are to thank. The community appreciates you!
Rachel: Visited the store today looking for a simple to set up card game for my family. Asked at the counter for a recommendation and the staff member led me to a shelf to show a fave (Sushi Go), described the game and play and the ages it might suit. Very helpful. I bough it and We have spent an hour playing it at home today! They suggested Dutch Blitz also as another simple alternative.
Shannon Bradley: Lots of selection, standard pricing. Staff was friendly and the store is spotlessly clean.
Ester Barone: They have some really cool ideas for Christmas
Josh Evans: Friendly staff, great selection of board games!
Chiara A: The shop has a lot of stuff, I went there for D&D and I was SO happy once I saw all the stuff they had, I was overwelmed! I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 because I felt like the staff didn’t want to spend too much time answering questions. (There weren’t many people in the room, the answers I got regarding games and paints were really short, but to be fair I always asked the same guy, so maybe it was just him).I would have liked more information about some colors from citadel paints, I’ll try to look it up myself but I’ll definitely come back there to buy.
Mark Harewood: Great selection and great staff. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!
Guadalupe Forcier: Good selection of games, prices aren't as good. $70 for Catan and $40 for other games... Store is very bland but you come and go for what you need.

Mind Games: what do users think?
sally saber vuong: Good place to shop for toys. Staff are very helpful
Jason Follett: Always helpful and chill
Angelo G: I use to really like going here to get funko pops a couple years back but recently and by recently I mean like since 2021 they increased the prices on funkos by quite a bit to where it’s higher than retail price. It was like that before but mainly for the funkos that were typically harder to find but now even just funkos that are new coming out that you can easily find elsewhere for their retail price they would be charging them here for a extra 5 dollars. It’s disappointing when I walk by the place and see a funko I like just to see that it’s being charged so much then it should be. I still come here from time to time just to see if there’s anything worth getting but it’s definitely the last place I check funko wise now and before I had good experience with staff at this place but now in the past couple months it’s been terrible customer service
Gregory Lazar: Love the selection. Got to look for the deals.
Jeremy Barker: Lots to choose from, prices are alright about the same I'm guessing as any other hobby store.
Loc: Products aren’t amazing. My brother bought a rubix cube that fell apart in a day but I want to give a shout out to the staff for being friendly.although I can only exchange or get store credit they made the experience good.
Robert Smith: Second time going into the Victoria, BC store and walked right out because of the terrible thrash metal music. It made it hard to shop. Sorry. I gave it two chances. I’ll spend my money somewhere else.
Trevor St-hilaire: Go check it out! It's cool AF!
Karlee Butschler: I received a Christmas gift from a mind games store. My mother in law double checked with the people at the location in Victoria that if I didn’t like the puzzle or already owned it I’d be able to exchange it at a location in Vancouver. The employee informed my mother in law that I would be able to exchange it at any other location. Well turns out the employees didn’t know about a soon to happen policy change and they wouldn’t do it. Now I’m stuck with a duplicate puzzle and my mother in law is livid with the mind games that told her otherwise. If you change a policy that is completely understandable. But you should honour the purchases made before the policy change that are still within the dates. Lost a customer and will never ever recommend to buy anything for yourself or gifts for others from mind games ever again.
Stephen Mackie: Gift certificates?
Patricia Holmes: Friendly staff, lots of interesting merchandise!
Chris “Mayotak” Marsh: I purchased a set of dice from the store and the cashier rolled my dice for the first time instead of allowing me to do so. Not only is this massively disrespectful to what is my property as I had already paid for it but some people have traditions when collecting things. Recommend going to a different place such as Treasue Chest games or Hourglass Comics where the staff are respectful.
Willis Killjoy: Good helpful service. Lots of board games and other tcg games.
Parsa Basirian: It seems like this place only hires incels and social rejects frankly. The staff flat out lied to me about their return policy just so I purchased alot more from them. I returned literally the next day to return some items as the employee said, only to be told I couldn’t by the exact same employee. He did not take responsibility for his actions and I ended up with a hundred dollars worth of stuff I did not need
Redbunny44 Xoxo: This store has such a good variety items! The staff at this store are also so sweet and friendly! I’e asked for their suggestions twice and they nailed it first try both times :)
Dan: Fun cool store, cameby, Too look for funko figures of my favorite animes. The selection was awesome alot of common and limited/rarer figures. I bought a dbz son goku figure. I really enjoyed browsing/seeing all the anime and cartoon related toys, assessories and products. You can also buy card packs here to, I'm not a card game guy, can't name all the brands of trading card they have.
Michelle Lee: Wide range interesting mind games here. Nice!
scott mcdonald: I called the store today and asked for a certain item for my sister for a gift, the person on the phone that I later learned has red hair, (I went to the store 15 minutes later to check for myself) was not interested in helping and was rude. He hanged the phone up on me before I said thank you, but that was before he had the time to be condescending and belittling in his tone of voice, like everyone who calls the store is stupid. I used to like going here but I would rather pay double the price then deal with this toxic person. It's time they find new staff that cares.
Gee Ewing: Really good selection of products here, and the staff is good too.
Graeme Unger: Careful! I had a product on pre-order for $280 but once it arrived they pulled a bait & switch and increased the price to $360! Cost of goods didn't increase its just pure greed because it turns out there was low supply so they thought they could squeeze more money from their customers. Found another local store that sold the same product for $250 ... 45% less!!! Buyer beware !!
Esteban Rodriguez: Very helpful and friendly staff!
