Kasama Chocolate: what do users think?
Johanna Dominguez: I really enjoy Kasama Chocolate because not only would you be supporting a Filipino business, the chocolate themselves are really unique & tasty!I've tried plenty of different flavours from them; they have a couple of main-line flavours, but I really recommend trying whatever limited edition flavour they have at the time! For example, I tried their Durian chocolate & it was surprisingly delicious! My favourite is probably the "tanned" Morena chocolate!
Mary Chan: Kasama chocolate frozen Vanilla cream with raspberry drizzle is a taste of heaven. It has the perfect juxtaposed of sweetness from vanilla bean with sassy raspberry. Must try when you visit Granville Island
P: I have always wanted to know how chocolate is madeTake the tour for tasting all the different part of the world
Amber Marple: Such an amazing hidden gem on Granville Island. Their chocolates and coffee are absolutely divine, and they make excellent gifts. Fantastic and friendly service every time!
ToniZ: Delicious chocolate, free samples
Tpain23: I didn’t know about this place until I tried it out from the hot chocolate fest. Cute lil place with creative chocolate flavors! I bought the durian white chocolate bar. It is a limited release and it was so delicious! I love durian and it wasn’t over powering but I can taste durian also the chocolate is so smooth and creamy! I hope they make this one again!
f y: Very friendly staff & great local bean-to-bar chocolate. Only thing missing is a bigger selection of really dark chocolate (85+) 🙂Drinking hot chocolate is yummy with a light fluffy texture, but personally would prefer it thicker & richer!
Catherine Tsang: This space smells amazing! I dropped by for the Hot Chocolate Fest (went for the Ube) and it was delicious! Very friendly service too. Will be back for sure!
Joanne Tsung: Delicious chocolate and friendly staff!
Diane (Dineoutwithdee): A must-visit bean-to-bar chocolate shop! They are often at many local markets, but it’s so nice to be able to visit their permanent address! Kasama offers many delicious and unique chocolate flavours made from cacao beans around the world! I’m a huge fan and I always look forward to their next creation. Go check them out! 🍫I recently visited to try their hot chocolate entries for Hot Chocolate Festival and both Brazo de Mercedes and Continents Dark Chocolate were excellent. 💯
Kit Yee Yu: My husband and I came here for the hot chocolate festival and wanted to try what Kasama would offer. We ordered a 12oz Classic style Brazo De Mercedes with ube/pandan shortbread cookie at $9.25. The hot chocolate was excellent. The temperature was not too hot that we could drink it right away. The flavour was not too sweet and its purple colour with white chocolate on top made the presentation even better. The beverage came with an ube and pandan shortbread cookie. Yummyyy! It was not too sweet as well. We enjoyed the beverage and snack!Their chocolates have so many different flavours. Each of them has its special packaging and design. We used to buy many of their chocolates whenever we came here but we have got too many chocolates at home from Christmas or others. We will consume more from Kasama later. My old colleague and I have booked a private chocolate tasting and tour at Kasama in February. We look forward to joining this tour, tasting different chocolates and buying their chocolates for sure!
M H: Amazing shop on Granville Island. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and just all around great people. Shout out to Vince for the great chat around the origin of some of the cacao beans from the Philippines! The chocolate is phenomenal with some really unique and delicious flavours. And you're able to sample some before buying! They have drinking chocolate, and participated in the hot chocolate festival this year too. Based off of the hot chocolate festival Ube Pandan entry I will definitely be coming back to try their standard drinking chocolate too. (Pictured is the bar we ended up buying)
Sonia Wong: Absolutely worthy of five - and more - stars! Vince, Stefan, and team are creating award-winning chocolate bars unlike any others, and believe me, I’ve tasted a lot of chocolate! 😂Their inventiveness, hand crafted, small batch approach, and dedication to excellence are complemented by their commitment to fair trade policies that are changing the lives of their suppliers. They conducted a fantastic virtual chocolate tasting for my far-flung team including shipping chocolate bars and tasting guides to four countries. Highly recommended. Thank you, Kasama!!!
Peter Gordon: Serious chocolate makers!
Briahnna Halle: Seriously the best drinking chocolate I’ve ever had!
Nestor Balce: Best chocolates, bean to Bar. Try their whiskey and Rhum treated beans.
Min An: Very friendly staff. Amazing mocha drink. Not too sweet and very flavorful. It made my day.
That Berenice: Exquisite chocolate made on site. Be sure to try the hot chocolate or drinking chocolate if it’s in season.
T Y: Specialty chocolate store with unique flavours. Excellent customer service. Definitely worth a try.
Melissa Chua: Love the strawberry bar chocolate. Can’t wait to try the other flavors
Michael Bautista: Thank you so much for making such delicious chocolates.

Gem Chocolates: what do users think?
Turtles and Peace Photography: Lots of different and uniques flavours! They are a work of art; and the ones I have tasted range from sweet to savoury to salty to melt in your mouth goodness. The only reason I took away 2 stars is because they use the same dirty cotton glove over and over to touch the chocolates when boxing them up and the "white" glove doesn't look like it has been washed in quite some time because it is far from white.
Lydia Xia: Good chocolates with interesting flavour combinations. The fillings are silky smooth and delicious. Eye-catching designs and good service.
Carolina Demaria: Delicious and unique flavors, and they look amazing!
McSunset Forever: Gem Chocolates is an excellent first class local chocolate company. The owner Glenn, is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, honest and delivers spectacular service. I’ve had multiple orders for various celebration and thank you gifts and Glenn worked closely with me and provided outstanding customer service. We have been receiving rave reviews about the chocolates from our friends as well. 10/10 would recommend.
Else Jones: Gem Chocolates is wonderful to work with, especially the owner Glenn. I had multiple orders for client thank you gifts and Glenn worked with me and provided outstanding customer service. We have been receiving rave reviews about the chocolates from our clients as well. 10/10 would recommend.
Christopher Hart-Wallace: Delicious chocolate made in-house by a very nice owner and chocolatier. Highly recommended.
Ken Tsang: This is next level chocolates. The Olive Oil Rosemary blew my mind. Not cheap but once you taste it you'll understand why
Terence Hui: Had some wonderful chocolates for Valentines and excellent customer service. Would definitely come back to try more things!
Cathie Desmarais: I googled for best chocolates in Vancouver and gem chocolates was one of the one coming up in a lot of lists so I decided to give it a go and bring back chocolates as a gift. I ended up not only buing gift but a big box for ourselves. We tasted a few so far and all amazing. Chocolates are also pretty. The owner was also nice.
Joanne Mutter: My favourite chocolatier! These chocolates are a work of art visually and creatively combine unexpected flavours. LOVE the Pecan Pie, Passion Fruit Mango, Rio Caribe... and all the others I have tried! Gifting a box with these beauties is always a sure hit.
Jude Ling Choung: OMG. I went to Gem Chocolates on 41st. and did not expect the outcome. The chocolatier was extremely outstanding in every possible way that made my day after two visits to this establishment with no success I finally got the best ever in Vancouver hidden secrets when it comes to chocolates and I have to say YES we’ll done. A must try for any occasion especially with a special touch..
Sophie Lussier: Quality, service and creativity all in one package. We had Easter Chocolate made for our staff, so happy. Will definitely be back.
Robin Jones: Street parking. Small shop loaded with delicious and eye appealing chocolates. Bought the lemon and orange peel dipped slices. Good price and delicious. Covid precautions in place. Will be back.
Kai: Delicious chocolates
Alex S.: The best chocolate in town! You should try the chocolate bars made with coffee beans. So, so good!
Roxie Pepper: Beautiful chocolates. Seriously, once you're in the shop, just look at the display case. These are little pieces of art, hand craft and so pleasing to look at. I bought a box for a friend on the arrival of their baby, and another for a mentor, as gifts. The shop owner was lovely and packaged the purchases beautifully for gifting.
Jenni Cole: Amazing selection of chocolates. Offered sugar free chocolate gelato and it was perfect for a hot day. The owner is super friendly and knowledgable, he helped me find chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth while staying in line with my keto diet. If your in the neighborhood I strongly suggest you check out this gem 🙂
Jessica Cochran: Beautifully crafted chocolates that make great gifts for any occasion.
Dj: Thank you for the Darth vader hot chocolate! Loved it ❤️
C Y: They look great but tastes terrible...Worst tasting chocolate ever
L L: Yummy, comparable to beta 5 but with a different take

Business type: Candy store

The Candy Room: what do users think?
Eric Hung: My kids weekend favorite visit bar none
Star Lord * Avenger: Great shop. Prices are a bit high.
Kyle LeGrow: Awesome selection - but the staff break up the gummies with their hands, and go between handling payments and touching the gummies without changing their gloves.Prices are also quite high for some items that can be found at local grocery stores.
Darren Smith: Variety was not great and dude was blasting anti-vax songs over the radio.
Cook Eliie: This place is just amazing.
Bradley Jones: Yes, the Candy Room can be a fun and exciting place for people of all ages. From classic favorites like chocolate bars and gummy candies, to unique and unusual treats like spicy hot taffy and sour rainbow belts, there's something for everyone in a candy store. The sensory overload of colorful packaging, playful displays, and the sweet aroma of sugar can make for a memorable experience. Children especially love the excitement of choosing from a wide selection of sweets and treats. It's a great place for a sweet tooth to indulge or for a fun family outing.
Beth Norris: I went here looking for hard liquorice. I got the cats. Pretty good. I also found they sold monster munch, and the price was reasonable! There is a wide variety of options.
Chitra Susan Thampy: Got very nostalgic to see my favorite candies that I thought were discontinued. Great collection, my kid loves this place. Very friendly and helpful staff too.
Meryl Kim: Some candies i bought taste expired 🤢
Richard Strongman: Really fun store to take my granddaughter for a special treat day. Helpful and friendly staff.
Jo Jo: Money laundering
Aly Brown: Dank mart is better
george walker: Great
Bran A.: Superior selection to Ricardo's and the staff actually say hello. 5 stars 🌟
Enea Paja: Freaking Candies for your HalloweenTrick or Treat yourself
Herman Jamison: They are Fraud
Ellaine Tacneng: One of the best candy stores I’ve been to!! So much selection! Unfortunately when I went they were sold out on freeze dried candies. But overall it was a very good experience! Would recommend coming here.
Vera Williamson: It was such an enjoyable place and it feels like I'm a child again getting excited at the sight of several candies available at this store. I bought a lot for my family and friends, and even purchased some for my favorite co-workers. You can find surprising, interesting treats here at a reasonable price. Their candies were of high quality as well.
S: Quality candies and quality prices. The owners and workers are always lovely, quiet but kind! Store is clean and candies are in stock and high quality. They have the rainbow belt bites which are my favourites! With Ricardo’s opening down on Granville, I’m writing this review to hope to ensure the Candy Room remains busy because if they ever go anywhere I don’t know what I would do. The bulk Candy at Candy RoomIs SUPERIOR
Dearbhail Cotter: Good selection of sweets, nice staff, open late
Al M: Manager is rude and dismissive so of course the rest of the staff are also usually horrible to interact with. Not sure how an owner can be so gloomy and unpleasant all of the time when he is making bank off of selling candy to children and tourists. Unfortunately his attitude has not changed after many years running this place. This store used to have somewhat of a monopoly downtown but now there are way better, newer and friendlier candy places around town.

Daniel Chocolates: what do users think?
Mike Ward: Easy the best chocolatier, amazing service, it has always been a great experience while visiting here
Scott Spiegelberg: Very tasty, Belgium quality chocolate. Give them a try!
Kristina Quinn: Thank you Daniel for the best chocolate ever! I’ve been eating your chocolate since I was 10 years old! 40 years later it still makes me happy! Having a Belgian mom, she taught me about quality! You are the utmost quality ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💙
Zoe Meletis: This chocolate is always top quality in terms of taste, ingredients, and texture. The packaging is colorful and original too. It makes an excellent gift. I just recommended it to someone because I’ve only had excellent chocolates from Daniel. Time to order some more…..
yogesh Sharma: Quality is very poor and we found a hair in the chocolate. This is very serious an unacceptable they need to improve their manufacturing process to make sure that these kind of mistakes don’t happen and they need to take their hygienic process more seriously.
Richard Gee: Very, very helpful and accommodating because they were able to make chocolate CIGARS in 48-hour window. Great price & great quality. Terrific people
Morgane: Daniel's is my go-to place for Belgian chocolates in Vancouver. They're the best by miles.
Michael Hnatiuk: These are the best chocolates I’ve had. After noticing this small shop while driving by I thought I’d stop in to get my partner some chocolate for Valentine’s. They had a nice selection and were extremely kind and accommodating to nut allergies. I ended up eating half of the chocolates I got for my partner, and quickly returned for more. Daniel’s will be a regular for me from now on.
Drd Cameron: Great chocolates terrific service my go to place in town..
Khaldoun: Best chocolates in CanadaBest chocolates in vancouver
Justin Chan: Went in today to purchase some simple Christmas gifts for colleagues. We decided to buy 11 of their “hedgehog 10 assorted chocolates” boxed since the price was justifiable. We decided to open 1 box for ourselves and noticed there’s only 6 hedgehogs in the box. Not sure if this is a packaging or labeling error but we were not happy with that… the chocolates themselves are very good.Daniel staff should check into m this cuz it’s not a pleasant customer experience to get only 60% of expectation
Robert Sheldon: I do not do reviews or surveys but am compelled to appreciate this establishment. 20+ yrs ago far above the Arctic Circle in Alaska a friend shared a couple pieces of Daniel chocolates. I asked for more when this friend made a trip to Vancouver; I then asked for the address since I was traveling to Vancouver. In a little isolated Inupiaq village of 450 people my wife raved about Daniel Chocolates. This year she has taken ill and recently began hinting of the chocolates from Vancouver. Since it had been a long time since our last taste I used the internet to help me once again find Daniel’s. (No longer on Robson where I made a number of stops). I called the store and was greeted kindly and with personal interest in me as a customer. Amazingly fantastic chocolates and awesome employees will likely lead to more shipments to rural Alaska. I anticipate joyful tears when I gift my wife the Le Magnifique selection. Thank you Daniel’s!
Amelie C. Langlois: Have been going here for a few years, and this place has the best chocolate hedgehogs, and chocolate in general, that I've ever had. Not too sugary, just right.
Shi Wen Phan: My wife only approves of chocolate from this shop in the whole of Vancouver.
Sandra Wadden: Best chocolate around!
Golnaz: This is sad … thanks for all last past years ❤️
Yu Han Lim: The chocolates are too good and I need so much self control to stop eating. Bought a box for a friend and this was what they said, “…the chocolates were sooo good! Literally 2 days to finish. 1 tray per day 😂”
Octokitty Kitty: Sonja, what a gem! Sweetest women I have met. I received some of these chocolates as a gift and now this is my go to for a gift for someone else. Delish!
Lorne C: Best chocolates in town. Highly recommend chocolate coated orange peel.
Xianzhao Huang: The onwers claim they used the material from certain Latin American countries, and mostly organic. The quality of the products is good although the prices are higher than common brands.
Dávid Kvočák: Excellent customer service! Free sample of chocolate and amazing quality ! If I wanna buy chocolate for someone in the future this is the place I’ll go! Amazing!

Coconama Chocolate: what do users think?
Steve Qiu: It has the most variety in flavor for Chocolate in Vancouver. Always get one when they go to local events. Recommended.
Sameer Misra: I was around this area to visit someone and found this great place on maps with near perfect reviews. I asked the lady at the counter for recommendations and she was really nice to talk to. I ended up getting a gift basket. The chocolates were delicious. Check out the ‘Coconamap’ to understand the flavors of the chocolates, the sweetness, bitterness and tanginess. I would highly recommend to try this place as they have so many options. They even have à flavor for 🇺🇦 aid. All sales of that flavor will be donated. 5 stars for sure!
Carlie Hughes: Staff is always super friendly & helpful :)
Adam Myhre: During my recent visit to the O-Hanami Festival at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, I had the pleasure of stopping by the Coconama Chocolate booth. Despite the booth being busy, the staff were welcoming and helpful, allowing me to sample some of their chocolates.I tried the Passion Fruit, Green Tea, and Cherry Blossom flavored chocolates, and I was blown away by the quality of the product. Each chocolate was expertly crafted, and I could taste the uniqueness of each flavor. The passion fruit was refreshingly tangy, the green tea was subtly sweet, and the cherry blossom was delicately fragrant. I would highly recommend all of them. The staff at Coconama Chocolate were knowledgeable and approachable, providing me with helpful information about their chocolates. The experience was fantastic, and I regret not purchasing more chocolates to take home with me, especially the passion fruit! My first impression of Coconama was fantastic. The chocolates are of the highest quality, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a unique and delicious chocolate experience, I highly recommend stopping by Coconama Chocolate. Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or just looking for a tasty treat, Coconama will not disappoint.
Gem Can: Their truffles are absolutely amazing - I buy them every chance I get! The premium milk chocolate and sesame flavours are my favourite. It's incredible how many different flavours there are, and how they're able to capture them in a cubed particle of goodness. I was pleasantly surprised by the chili dark and tofu dark flavours, which I had been hesitant to try from the assorted giftbox, but they turned out quite nice. I look forward to trying any new flavours that they might come up with next!
Lira U: Excellent, the lady was lovely, I was just going to buy a small cup of chocolate but u ended with 5 cups, 2 chocolate bars and 2 gift boxes. It was worthy to cross the rain and the long journey for this chocolate
Hui Chen: Staff are super nice and the nama chocolate is amazing. My favourite are the earl grey and dark chocolate flavors.
Dooyi Kim: Sweet little chocolate shop 😋
Nigel Tan: Excellent quality chocolate, far better than Purdy's or Godiva and at a better price
nuvochic: Last night I said I was going on a diet… But here we are eating my salted caramel… breaking promises without a care in the world lol Lol :(
Gabriela Emi Sanada: OMG!!! I just tried out the Hojicha & Black sesame white chocolate in the Japanese market and... It's sooooooo good!!! I'm in love with this chocolate ♥️♥️♥️
Steve Ross: Amazing ice cream and chocolate. Nuanced flavors. Nice flavor chart on the wall.
June Campbell: My friend told me the salted caramel truffles were a little taste of heaven. She was absolutely correct.
Daniel Clement: Forget beta 5, this place rocks!
Josh W: Stumbled upon a pop up at a farmers market - and it is DELICIOUS! very unique take on chocolate and something you don't want to miss
Arash Haj: Great chocolate, great staff.
Gmd Daigle: Omg their chocolate is delicious. This is REAL chocolate, forget Lindt, etc. We tried the dark chocolate with salt bar and the white chocolate cubes in a cup (almost had the consistency of butter). Flavours were incredible. And the lady who helped us was very friendly. Can’t wait to go back for more.
Ivy Lam: A sweet little chocolate shop with so many delightful flavours! Our favourite was the Sake chocolate, with a beautifully rich and well-incorporated flavours. We also tried the dark spice hot chocolate, which was a bit small, but so satisfying and enjoyable!
Marian Chung: Hidden gem in North Van!! It’s a quick walk from Lonsdale Quay, and they make their treats on site. I love their shop, they have a huge selection of truffles! Their salted caramel is delicious, literally melts in your mouth. I also tried their crunchy matcha chocolate bar, which I recommend. It has crispy rice and sesame seeds which is a really unique combo but tasty!
Ricardo P.: Bought two collection boxes and they're fudgy and tasteful.Loved it
satyajit roy: Lovely customer service.

Lee Bodie: I had been Medivaced from the Yukon to St.Paul’s hospital in Vancouver B.C.with no notice because of an electrical malfunction in my heart. No family in the big city, so after 10 days of non exciting hospital food, I decided to console myself and treated myself to some Purdy’s chocolate.I had no way of getting it to the hospital and I couldn’t leave to pick it up. The young lady who served me over the phone at the Bentall’s location offered to drop it off at the front desk of the hospital on her way home. I thanked her for her gracious offer and asked her to tack on a delivery fee to my total for her time and trouble. She kindly declined my offer and said she was happy to help me out.I’m sorry that I’ve forgotten the young ladies name as I didn’t have a pen at the time of the order, but I remember that it had 5 letters and most of them were vowels. From the bottom of my “stable” heart, I wanted to express my thanks to this employee of Purdy’s Chocolates! She went far and above her assigned duties and I shall never forget her compassionate kindness to an aging chocoholic.Actually, now and forever, a Purdys’aholic ! ❤️
Michael W: Excellent selection, very helpful staff.
Jo Ann Neff: A good client/friend of mine started bringing back these wonderful chocolates when she visited her daughter in Vancouver while we babysat her Labrador Retriever she bought from us. The kids certainly looked forward to their return... especially since she would bring back an amazing delicacy from your factory. That was over 20 years ago! We started sending our son and his wife and son Purdy’s chocolate from us for any occasion. They always remark on how wonderful these chocolates were. It’s a gift i don’t have to worry will not meet expectations. And so easy with their on-line website. Christmas is always a great event as they really look forward to the huge box of assorted chocolates. 😁

Lindt Chocolate Shop - Vancouver Exchange Tower: what do users think?
Polina: They gave out free samples and the place looks really cool, we got the white chocolate mocha and i didn’t really like it but my family did. Surprisingly not expensive for the drink.
J C: While searching for a nearby Starbucks, we unexpectedly came across this place. Surprisingly, the Starbucks nearby was permanently closed, but this place could serve as a great alternative coffee shop in the area. Upon entering, we were impressed by the stylish decor and impeccable cleanliness of the shop, along with the friendly staff. We decided to try their mocha, which had a rich and intense flavor. With a few tables available, it felt like a cozy café where you could enjoy your drink. We were so pleased with our experience that we plan to come back again in the future.
Алла Беспалова: Eduarda was super helpful and polite!
Travis Cat: Awesome store, they've got the best candies
Nadia: Staff is really helpful and good selection of chocolates!

Monica Espadin: Love it.
Ramtin Lahooti: Hot chocolate is highly recommended
Mr Law: Delicious hot choco and friendly staffs.
Chris F: Amazing. The smell. Oooh. The hot chocolate.
Akanksha: Amazing customer service and if you haven't tried a Lindt hot chocolate or coffee yet, you are seriously missing out. My favourite is a hot mocha with dark chocolate and it is a melted hot cake in a cup.. out of this world.
Johnna Rippetoe: Great selection
Pete Anslow: I actually called them to make arrangements for my daughter to pick up the chocolates as I was unable to in person. The lady on the phone was super understanding and took down the info she needed and it was a very successful completion as my daughter was able to pick up the gifts I had purchased .

Granville Island Licorice Parlour: what do users think?
Connie C: Super cute shop. The licorice candy is just too pungent to my taste….
Julian Hunt: Amazing little shop on Granville Island. A lot of my favourite British sweets I knew as a child in the UK. Great service as well and they do mail*order!
Teslyn Buehler: Excelllent selection of licorice and candy! The staff is very friendly, helfpul, and knowledgeable. They are always able to recommend a similar kind of licorice if one is not available.Definitely worth a visit for all licorice lovers!!!
La Vitta E Bella: So cute! Yummy 😋
YAN YAN TSO: Was there two weeks ago. One customer with children. Older lady helping them with candy and weighing it. One younger guy. He did ask me if I needed any help. I asked how it worked. Asked if it was okay to buy just two pieces. He said yes. But then didn’t offer to help me or find out what it was I was wanting two pieces of. The boy then turns his back to me and starts doing stuff with the stock right behind him on the wall.Another lady was running around the store doing stuff. The irritating thing is she had no issues walking IN FRONT of you over and over to get by to go to the back stock room, while you’re looking at the products along the wall, and never says excuse me and definitely doesn’t offer help, never mind even say hello. In fact. No one. Said hello.“3” staff. 1 set of customers. Yet. Two free staff manages to make one customer feel like you couldn’t really be bothered. My own manager was teaching me just that day how when there’s customers in the store STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND GIVE CUSTOMERS YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION BECAUSE IF THE CUSTOMER SEES YOU ARE BUSY THEY WON’T NECESSARILY ASK FOR HELP. YOUR FIRST PRIORITY SHOULD BE THE CUSTOMERS. While I understood it in concept… seeing it from the customer’s perspective myself that afternoon it just fully made sense. That boy never offered any help after asking and answering to see if I wanted any more help. And his back was turned to me. I felt like “never mind it’s okay I’ll go elsewhere”.You didn’t just lose “a sale” you lost “a customer” customer that might never come back. Please don’t cross in front of a customer over and over to get to the back stock room when customers are browsing. Or least say excuse me. You made it feel like customers are in your way.
Abby Nicole: As others have said, the woman who typically works here (manager?) is unnecessarily rude. They have solid gluten free liquorice though, so I go once a year for Christmas shopping & get a reminder that some people never change.
Patrick Logan: Very addicted to the salted licorice. Best on the city for sure. Friendly staff as well.
Diane and Joel: I love love love my candy and licorice - if you are looking for all the good stuff this is the place you need to go. none of the goodies are stale - so fresh and soft. Can't wait to go back
Vera Williamson: It is one of the most unexpected licorice place I've been to and I'm glad I visited the place. I found several nice selection and the ambiance of the place is also lovely. The staff at first welcomed us with genuine eye smiles and helped us a lot. The candies are surely amazing and of high-quality.
Sushi: Great service. The guy working gave really great recommendations. I recommend trying the school chalk licorice, it has an interesting flavour.
Oliver Smith: Friendly service and great treats.
Jon Turtle: Doesn’t disappoint
Android Curbot: WHY DOES VANCOUVER HAVE ALL THE NICE THINGS 😭
Ella Private: Worst absolutely most horrendous service I've ever received in Vancouver. Ever. And each time I've been back I keep thinking the woman will change her attitude but she is very much stuck up and feels like she is being inconvenienced. Even when she got my order wrong she scolded me and did not apologize, instead she just mentioned what she had thought I wanted and that's why she got it wrong. Doesn't seem like they need the business keeping this lady around as the main staff member who is rude to everyone. Don't waste your time here, head over to the Candy Kitchen in the Public Market instead! Rude rude lady- cannot wait for this place to disappear from the island.
Liam Nooyen: Don’t get the salty stuff
Dylan Kirkby: Excellent selection and prices for licorice! Our go-to spot.
Anouk Biel: The person working that day posted a sticky note saying they would be back in 10 minutes. We waited 20 mins and nobody came. The service was not as friendly the last time we came and unfortunately today was a waste of our time. We will not be back.
Brit Taylor: cute! great selection
Lisa Semotiuk: Wonderful shop and wonderful staff!! Will definitely be back
Clara Berry: Wandered in because the store looked cute - from the outside it looks like a cheerful candy store. Unfortunately what you encounter service-wise inside is the opposite of cheerful. There was only one person serving, they had longer hair and looked like an older person - they seemed somewhere between unenthused and unhappy that they were there. It made the vibe in the store awkward for the people being served and anyone that was waiting. Perhaps they don’t need the business.Consistent with some of the observations from other recent reviewers: no hand sanitizer in sight and the candy is taken out of jars with a gloved hand - the same hand with glove on also handles the credit card machine and whatever else they need to do, transaction after transaction.I bought some licorice, but thinking back about how they went to the bag in writing this review- I don’t feel comfortable eating them, they’ll be going in the bin.The store looks super cute, too bad it’s let down by the staff member that seemed really unhappy and so the awkward mood in the shop - what a downer on a busy Saturday afternoon on the island.
Claude Gervais: Très bel accueil, excellent service à la clientèle, bel endroit pour acheter des bonbons
