Capilano River RV Park: what do users think?
Barb MacDonald: Very handy location but very expensive! For that amount of money, wifi should be all through the place, not just in certain areas!!Sites are very close together.Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Carol Kellogg: Great location, nice facilities.Enjoyed Jacuzzi after hikingRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kandice Nagel: RV park with a pool, clean bathrooms with free showers and a small dog park. Very close (walking distance) to Park Royal mall and some beautiful walking trails along the water. Friendly staff, property well maintained.Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Amy Rae: Staff were not friendly or very helpful. Showers were average and toilets were not very clean. No cooking facilities, overall campground is looking a bit tired.Very close to highway, so a bit of road noise. The laundry was nice and new.If you are here for a couple of days, it is ok. I wouldn’t stay any longer.
irwin keshane: First time being there but was beautifulRooms: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Kelley Vice: I don't want to leave a bad review, just help people know what to expect. This RV park is right smack in downtown Vancouver between the Capilano River and the freeway. It is not picturesque and there is a notable paucity of wildlife. The spots are narrow, but flat and level as advertised. It is within easy walking distance of a cinema and other downtown attractions, and if you are working nearby for a while it would be a perfect spot for your trailer. If you're looking for nature, this isn't it. Friendly, polite staff, and our hookups were totally reliable (Wi-Fi was not the best, but that's not unusual). Ingress is a tricky 180-degree turn from a narrow bridge.
Mike Duhaime: First of all: Huy chexw !What an awesome location. You are downtown, 5 min walk to malls :) Full service, all hook ups. Spaces are tight..it's downtown, not a Provincial Park! So you have all the amenities that go with Downtown, but without paying big hotel rates. It's Right on main bike trails that take you to harbor, downtown,Stanly Park, and west Vancouver. We cycled to the Capilano suspension bridge....beautiful place. It was so nice to meet Squamish nation people. Very friendly. I loved watching them fish in the water beside the campsite. They did it the way their ancestors fished, thousands of years ago. The seals came each day to try and snatch some of the fish they caught. It was amazing to see these wild seals swimming in streams. We are definitely going back in 2023 and hope to explore more of Vancouver. We biked to Stanly Park easily and spent the day exploring. Cant wait to travel back from Ontario again.Thank you for letting us stay at you're awesome RV park!
Janie Jane Bigmore: Winter bliss. No snow . lovely hot tub. Great staff
Robert Jordan: Elitist smug disrespectful settler wannabees. Told me on a Friday my camper was too old (87 Lil bigfoot that I drive x country twice per year, well maintained and still made under the armadillo name in BC, stay at campgrounds all over north america) told me to fill out an application because he didn't work there and was only filling in because of a funeral, to come back next Tuesday.... which I did....and when I mentioned my condolences about a funeral staff don't even know about a funeral. Pretty sad to use the old funeral story...not only disrespectful to the dead but also paying customers. But they're right, it's private property. I don't mind leaving who wants to be around a bunch of smug elitist losers.
Alvita Starr: I enjoy because it is friendly quiet and close to stores
Asi Sa: Expensive tickets but an enjoyable experience.
Stuart Morley: Good location just a short walk to the mall I would give it a better rating if they had free wifi throughout the park, there is only coverage at the main building. The noise from the bridge is minimal and not a concern.

Burnaby Cariboo RV Park and Campgrounds Vancouver: what do users think?
Ms Rigoso: Nice full service campground close to Vancouver.
Niko Nesin: I visit my friend who lives there, it's a nice and quiet area, some common areas are outdatedRestrooms: Could be cleaned betterDog-friendliness: There's a nice trail next to river, where many people take their dogsPicnic area: A small picnic area, with small playground, well kept
David Schwab: High price, low value,No wifi, small sites, poor services.Noisy, unfriendly to pets.
joe smith: It's the luxurious camp site at a reasonable price. Yes, I would stay there if I'm visiting the lower mainland with my rv. Convenient and close to everything at a good price. RV hotel!
Karin Vaars: Geweldig RV park.Alles is er en superschoon.Erg vriendelijk personeel
Jennie Primor: Great place to stay.Had flying bugs in the trees and they get into our motor home ....took us 6 months to get rid of them.
Matthew Beck: Made the mistake in staying with these clowns last summer.Just a fair warning, if you have Alberta license plates or an animal don't bother with this place. My recommendation is to go to Anmore. Skip this place completely.
Bernard Kittikhoun: Loved the place. Good receptionist. Ahmed was the best host out there. Thanks for the amazing experience!
Kathy Schmidt: Thank you for hosting our family. This a beautiful park with privacy hedges between sites. Thank you to Shawn in the office and Kim for your gracious hospitality.
Jennifer Batchoun: Owner is way too strick and the lots are tiny.
Phil G: Best location to stay in Vancouver, the camping is next to Burnaby lake with more than 10k trail. Also very close to Production University station, Sky train terminal of the Expo line going to famous Gastown area of downtown VancouverThe camping is very well maintained and offers all services, convenient store, swimming pool, spa, fitness center, gas tank delivery and so on.Weekly rates apply during winter, which is great
Remy van Geene: Prima camping voor campers. Wel kleine plekken. Leuk dat er een zwembad is.
David: RULES RULES RULESThey threatened to call Child protective services for the kids putting their feet in the hot tub, which they could only have noticed by watching their spy cameras in the pool area.Creepy people
Daniela Jacob: Durften mit unserem Camper Wassertanks entleeren, gegen Bezahlung. Freundliches Personal.
alan francis: Pitch small. Very noisy with the motorway on one side and the railway on the other, not very good it you are a light sleeper. Didn't use the amenities so can't comment on them
Lois Beck: If you have pets this is not the campground for you. Even though they say the are pet friendly there rules are not friendly. The only time you can have your pet outside your rv is if they are attached to a leash and attached to your arm. No fences, tethers or kennels! Not very humane! Not sure why they just don’t say “No Pets Welcome”.
Kun Chang: privacy is excellent. each space has a screen tree. well maintained. has all your needs in the RV park.Dog-friendliness: near the walking trail for dog walking.

Rent a Camper Canada - Vancouver - Campervan kit rentals: what do users think?
Sandra Heijs: Timo put a bed in our rented 7 person minivan. We booked this via the Canadaspecialist (Dutch company).Great way to discover Canada with the luxury of always having your bed with you, without having to drive a gigantic camper. We got all the stuff we needed for camping. Timo is really kind and relaxed. Would definitely recommend this type of travelling.
Eva Peters: Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Gute Ausstattung, große Auswahl an Equipment, gemütliches Bett - sehr empfehlenswert!
Joe Little: Awsome
Ronald Veldhuizen: This was by far one of the best camping experiences I ever had the privilege of enjoying. The concept: instead of renting a motorhome or pre-stylized minivan, Tim equips an empty minivan you've rented yourself with all the camping gear you need.He even customised the mattresses. We slept like kings, had plenty of legroom and could easily reach the stove, food and everything else we brought with us. And it's all bear-proof.The experience is not only cheaper, but probably better than what else is offer. Other minivan companies still rely on older minivans they pre-customized, often with less sleeping space, as we noticed during our travels. And you're not burdened with driving around a loud motorhome that burns through gasoline like a supernova.Tim's service was super friendly and thoughtful. He helped us prepare for a lot of situations that are typical during camping in Canada, and provided us with many great travel ideas. His hiking book for The Rockies was the best. Also, he handled the customization process itself quite covid-proof.Highly recommended.
Samantha Vermeulen: Really nice alternative for expensive campers. You get everything you need to camp including a nice comfy bed. It's perfect for good friends our couples who want to camp but still have some comfort. You can go everywhere because you 'camp' in a car and you don't have to worry where to park.As a + it is is a very nice owner that is flexible for his customers!I really recommend!
Nikki Hatz: My husband and I road tripped around bc and Alberta in August. We rented a dodge caravan and rent a camper quickly installed curtains and a wooden bed frame. They gave us everything we needed for our road trip (kitchen items, pillows, mattress, blankets, gas oven, bear spray, ice box, table, chairs) we were fully equipped. There’s no better way to see bc and Alberta and rent a camper really helped us have the best time and experience.
Pati Silva: Very well designed, super comfortable, excellent service. Highly recommended!
Zeer goede service. Dankjewel !!
Lukas Krecan: We had a great time during a 4 weeks trip around British Columbia and the Rockies in our Toyota Sienna "spaceship".Timo and his team were super-nice and the build-in beds were really comfortable. Great choice for 2 travelers who do not enjoy sleeping in a tent.
Vaclav Ruzicka: Rent-a-camper team was really great! It started with our discussions during reservation process already months before our summer Canada trip began.Timo converted our car (despite the fact our car was not minivan but big SUV) to camper van within a moment. Also provided camping equipment was exactly what we need during our traveling, we didn’t need anything else. Thanks to Timo and his team I spent wonderful holiday with my daughter in Vancouver area and Canadian Rockies, we really enjoyed it!
Louise Chartier: What a fantastic experience we had travelling three weeks in BC and Alberta, thanks to Rent a Camper! The camping kit was very convenient, easy to install inside the minivan and included everything we needed, even bear spray. The vehicule becomed our «mini mobile home». In addition, the service was very attentive and sympathetic. Thank you very much!
Rhiannon Newton: Really glad we went to Rent aTent to hire the equipment for our minivan. We had a brilliant trip to the Rockes, had everthing we needed - and the bed was really comfortable. There was no delay in changing the minvan into a camper and vice versa at the end- and the info and hiking book were great- really appreciated. Would love to do it again!
Emanuel Falk: Me and my girlfriend rented the equipment to upgrade our minavan into a campervan and was very satisfied. It worked very well and Timo was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed and gave us all necessary tools. It's a much cheaper option then renting a campervan and we would really want to recommend Rent a Camper!
Anna Sýkorová: Thank to this offer we had amazing trip to Canadian Rockies. It was verz comfy and convenient that we had regular size car but transformed into a campervan. And all the utilities for camping and cooking included! Great idea and perfect balance if you want to explore on your own. We were travelling as two girls and this was the simplest and the best scenario. Thank you very much for this experience! We will be remembering long time this trip.
Nina Ström: I can really recommend this place! My friend and I rented a camping kit for 2,5 weeks when going up to the Rockies. The owner/staff was very friendly, gave us lots of tips for where to go, hikes, camping grounds etc. The equipment was installed quick and we got all the info we needed. We didn't really miss anything, even bear spray was included! Some stuff felt brand new, the beds nice and comfy. Would definitely rent there again!
Cindy: We just came back from a 10 day road trip from Vancouver to San Francisco all the way to Big Sur California. The campervan equipment was very comfortable to sleep in. The blanket was warm and the camper chairs are awesome! Highly recommend you try this.
Fabian Scheipl: 1000% recommended! Best option in terms of price, comfort and flexibility by far -- much cheaper and much easier driving than an RV, you can get onto any little road and into any little campground, everything is safe inside your car and the camping equipment you get has everything you need. The air mattresses are super comfy and feel like sleeping in a real bed. Converting your rental into a campervan is very quick, it only takes about 20 minutes with their system.Timo, the owner, even kept his shop open for us extra long into the evening so that we could get our van ready on the same day that we arrived in Vancouver and also gave us a very cool guide book and some maps - - he's super friendly and accomodating. We had a fantastic time!

Enno Fischer: Gepflegte Fahrzeuge, unkomplizierter Ablauf
Régis Boivin: Service fantastique
Rob Baggerman: Great camper and experience in a brand new beautiful RV.Would recommend Canadream to everyone
David Gilmour: Honestly, one of the better car rental experiences I’ve had. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an expensive service, but you are paying for awesome cars and great service. Worth it if you can afford it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Gwen Palmer: Clean building and RVs. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. RVs are spotless!!
Sabine Miorini: Wonderful trip through beautiful BCNice and extremely friendly staffWe had a great RV Pickup 😊We definitely book again
Vielen Dank.
Tom Wilson: Bought a new RV here in 2018, collected it at their head office in Calgary, Matthew the sales manager was first class, best deal in BC money wise.
Keegan Anderson: Overall our experience was good. My friend and I rented a camper van and drove across Canada from Ontario to BC. The van was great, drove amazing and for first time RVers the demo helped for an easy first hook up. Unfortunately, the worker we talked to at pick up calculated the wrong Km’s needed, charged us $800 and ensured we’d have enough for the trip. At drop off we had to pay another $600 for going over our km’s since her calculations were off. In hindsight we should have checked but there were other ‘added expenses’ we weren’t prepared which put a damper on our trip and some stress about money. I’d recommend Canadreams but with a forewarning to double check km’s and be aware of all the extra expenses you may need for platinum coverage, toilet paper, kitchen sets etc.
Matt Wheelmaker: The staff is quite friendly and experienced and the cars looking shiny and new.Nevertheless a lot of functions and gimmicks are blocked. What is a nice car worth in BC weather without an awning? Why TV is not working proper?Look at the cheaper cars from Fraserway and other, they are fully equipped not sitting in the rain or looking why things are not working. Not again!
Vanessa Johnsen: Cana-nightmare! Terrible, never again.
Hansjörg Hug: Nice and friendly service. Well equipped RVs. RV was in good shape. 👍🏻
Martin Wallrath: You are not supposed to use the sun blind what is just insane with 40° or when it's raining, enjoy your vacation and book somewhere elseAnswerSorry, but that is not true - we used the sun blind in 2020 and nobody told us about the rules, we looked at the terms and yes it is there but on the last past page - this is not customer friendly, it looks like fraud to me! And sorry but it is just insane for people not using the sun blind! Other RV rentals make it work using the sun blind - maybe ask them ...
Ingesamt also sehr enttäuschend.

Karma Campervans Vancouver: what do users think?
Emma Hunter: Absolutely amazing!!Right from the beginning, Karma was professional and made the process super easy from paperwork to picking up the van. The van was very comfortable to drive and to sleep in.Can't wait to rent it again. 🙂
Alicia Taggio: I had an incredible experience renting with Karma. They were quick to answer my questions, had a seamless check-in and check-out process, and have truly thought of everything when it comes to their van layout. I drove their van down to the USA to explore the PNW in-style. It was such a comfortable experience and I can't recommend this company enough.
Tammy Fitzgerald: Had an awesome time with the Karma Kamper Van! We drove from Vancouver to San Francisco and back. It was fully equipped with more than you need. Classy design, simple and easy to use. Bed was alot more comfy than I expected and it didn't disappoint. The van drove great and was reasonable on fuel. The coffee was a nice touch. They have thought of almost everything! What a great way to see the countryside!
Elizabeth Jinks: Our first time renting a campervan ever and Karma Campervans made it so easy!! Their staff were very knowledge and prompt to reply to all our questions. We had an absolute amazing time, our only regret is not hiring it for longer. We are planning our trip back to Canada for a different experience. 10/10 would recommend!! No hidden prices when it comes to mileage kitchen appliances and bedding like the other big companies!
Anne McDonald: Awesome experience, easy to book, easy to pick up, clear consice instructions, great value for the money, super helpful and friendly staff. Bed was super comfy and the van was a dream to drive
Ophelie Lacoua: Great rental company and love supporting small businesses! Van itself is so easy to drive and can take anywhere! It was so nice being in a modern vehicle, when we picked it up it was SO clean, almost like it was a completely new vehicle! The bed is soo comfortable, best one in a campervan yet. As we renovate campervans ourselves back home, we were super impressed with everything. We also had the VIP upgrade added (as a deal) which is a must in our opinion. The only thing we could suggest is to have a better seating arrangement (for winter) and place to put the portable fridge. Also maybe a curtain across the van behind the seats (instead of putting up the shields) to keep the heat in but understand that it’s probably like all of this for a reason! Thanks again, we would definitely rent from again :) all the way from NZ
Michel Anad: Love everything about this company!Make sure you do your check when you pick up the van. It is your responsibility. Stuff was really helpful. Had a few questions regarding the van and talked to Kirsten at pick up. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us some tips on where to go.We of course as a first time camper had some questions along the way and ran into some issues (our own stupidity). We texted the emergency number and Sara answered at 9.45 pm in the evening. That was such a relief. Both Kirsten and Sara were really a great help and super friendly. The staff at Karma is the best!!!!!!The van run smoothly and had everything we need
Kim Weisz: We rented this van for a week. Pick up and drop-off was super easy. The communication with company was friendly and they were always answering super quickly. And the van ! Wow !! Very nice, luxurious and fully equipped. We slept like babies, even better than at home. We highly recommend karma Campervans for your next trip
Amy McDonald: We rented the Van for 8 weeks between Jan and March and traveled between Ski resorts in BC, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. We really enjoyed our trip & found the van to be excellent. Extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. There was everything we could need supplied. The diesel heater and the bedding was excellent for keeping us warm. We had no issues with the power and the van held charge really well. It drives better in the snow than you would expect for RWD and M&S tyres as the weight helps it grip and they can provide chains. Communication from Karma was always excellent if we needed support. This trip would not have been possible without Karma vans. Thank you!
Aran Joyce: Very poor handling of a dispute, took advantage of the situation in their favor without any communication. Book elsewhere.
f belle: We completed a successful weekend at Whistler with their camper and it was awesome! The folks at Karma are really easy to talk and get along with. For all those reasons, we are booking another trip up to the mountains with Karma!
Sean N: Wouldn’t trust them again
Reid Edmondson: This was our second time renting with Karma and it never disappoints!! The van is always extremely clean upon pick up and ready for whatever adventure you wish to throw at it. The staff are great and communicate to make everything as smooth as possible. For anyone that seeks adventure, Karma is a great place to start.Only advice is to bring a tent or some sort of waterproof shelter to cook in as the vans are not equipped with an awning and cooking outside in the Pacific Northwest is next to impossible.
Clare Doherty: We had a good experience with Karma but the end of the trip felt like a cash grab. They miscalculated our mileage and charged us $450 for going over- luckily we knew how many kms we had driven and managed to get this refunded. We were charged a huge sum for damage to a panel on the vehicle- somehow charging $1900 of labour time to install a $100 part. We asked to get a second opinion/quote from another mechanic and Karma refused. We had the highest level of insurance coverage Karma offers but that comes with a $7500 deductible so is basically useless.Don't recommend renting from this company- or if you do, make sure to take out your own travel insurance. Overall left a bad taste in our mouths.
Daniel: I rented a brand new Campervan for 4 weeks and was super sad when I had to return it. The van was very well suited for winter camping and thus the trip was unforgettable. I highly recommend Karma Campervans because not only the vehicles are ideal for winter camping but also the service and support provided by the friendly staff was impressive. I definitely will rent a Karma Campervan again the next trip.
yi chen: It's our second time renting camper Van with Karma. The camper van is easy to drive and perfect for a couple. Due to winter season and not big skiing/snow boarding fans, we decided to stay at Vancouver island for 3 nights. I keep telling my Bf that one day I will own one of karma's campervans as it is designed and equipped perfectly with hearts. The heater had 0 issue during our stay and kept us warm overnight when it's below 0 degree and we had best sleeps with the comfortable mattress. Auto check in and drop off is saving hassles and time. There is nothing that we can really complain. I am positive that Karma will grow and please open more locations in Vancouver and Burnaby then we can save trips to go to Richmond as we can't park our cars there.
Claudia Rousse: Second time renting with Karma. We love that the vans are always super clean, extra comfy and well designed. It's a simple set up that works perfectly. Our winters gateways went smoothly both times. We went backcountry skiing and had a blast!Easy pick up and drop off. Will definitely rent again with Karma.
Kat Montgomery: There are no words to express HOW AMAZING our experience was with our Karma van! First of all, the practicalities were made sooo easy ... from booking, to pickup (including easy location), to drop-off and getting our security deposit back ... so simple.Secondly, the space! Organized so well, all the things you need, loads of room for extra (yes, we brought way too much stuff but there was still room for more). ***The only extra I recommend you bring, if you are winter camping, is an insulated mug for drinking coffee/tea/hot chocolate outside by the fire.Thirdly, the bed! We only expected it to be one step up from tent camping (cramped and minimally comfortable), not like our comfy memory-foam bed at home. Wrong! Some of the best sleeps we have had, ever! Also - the heater, made November camping very enjoyable (barely needed it overnight given the comfy duvet and well-insulated van). Plus the campgrounds are almost empty, as well as cheap at this time of year. Can't wait to do it again!!!!!! Thanks Karma! XOXOXOXO
Anna Switzer: We had to make last minute arrangements to find a camper since we found out the getaway van we were going to borrow didn’t have winter tires. Within a day, we were able to get a quote and book a Karma camper van and what a great experience it was! Super quick & easy to book and the Karma crew was very communicative. Pick up and drop off were seamless; the instructions given are very clear. The van itself was fantastic! I was a little intimidated to drive the van as I’ve never driven anything of its size before, but was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to handle. Really enjoyed driving it! Inside it had everything we needed for our trip. The bed was super comfy and the duvet kept us nice and warm. And the heater was a bonus 😁 would absolutely recommend Karma camper vans and can’t wait to plan our next trip in one!
Mauricio Rojas (mauroenlinea): Excelente atención y servicio.

Vancouver Campervan Rentals: what do users think?
Guillaume Maucotel: We rented a small van for 2 weeks and it was a great experience ! The van was well equipped and we enjoyed our trip very well. The staff is nice and understanding.
Abbie Rose: I could not tell you how amazing our trip was, from start to finish Sandra was wonderful in accommodating us and helping us plan our journey! She gave us great tips and suggestions of where to go as we took our camper (which we named Betty) from Vancouver to Whistler to Banff and back.Betty was a dream with everything you could possibly want or need inside we were set to go anywhere we wanted on our adventure. My only regret is not staying for longer!!I will most definitely book again - thanks again guys it really was a pleasure! :)From Abbie & Oliver
Steph M: We had an excellent experience with Vancouver Westy Rentals and Sandra, in particular. The camper van itself was incredibly well equipped and very very clean. Communication with Sandra was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful, providing a number of great tips for our trip. The operating instruction for the van were very thorough. Sandra also went out of her way to drop of a number of items to us that we had accidentally forgotten in the camper van after dropping it off to her. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend Sandra and her company if you are looking for a campervan rental in Van. !
D. J. N: Sandra was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with and she put up with my endless questions! The booking process was simple as was the check out/check in. Mechanically, the van ran perfectly and was definitely well cared for and we had no issues even driving in the heat of summer on the Coquihalla.Inside, the van was immaculate and well cleaned. It was stocked with absolutely everything we needed and we had to bring with us was clothing and food. The fridge and stove worked perfectly and was a nice luxury. The bed was comfortable and was enough room for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and time out of the city! We'd definitely do this again!!!Thank you Sandra for trusting us with your beautiful van :)
Andrew MacDougall: We received a 25-yr old vehicle with 200,000+ kms and it was downhill from there. The gas and smoke alarms triggered with no warning. The engine overheated constantly on the highway climbs through the mtns (e.g., Peachland to Merritt). We had to access our campground on a dirt road and were immedaitely texted - they clearly track their vans, which was creepy. The van had to be babied constantly. At $270 per night, I expected much better. I complained. Then we were charged a bogus $400 off the damage deposit for "scratches" on the side - it felt vindictive. If you're confortable with this happening to you, go for it. Otherwise, you have been warned. I am filing a complaint with the BBB.
Martin Auger: Renting from Westy Rental was simply the best.Sandra was great from start to finish. Simple process, great instructions and great experience. You can tell she does this because she is passionate about this type of leisure.Thank you Sandra, looking forward for the next time.
Gianluca Pascale: My first Westy trip!I am grateful to everyone at Vancouver Westy Rentals (VWR) for what was a top five adventure for me overall, and I have travelled extensively all over the world. I am happy that one of my most memorable was in my home country and the Westy I rented from VWR played a significant part in my overall experience.First and foremost was the condition of the camper van I rented. For a 1995, one could think it had been taken out of a time capsule. It is evident both visually, driving it, as well as using the amenities and facilities the van has that VWR takes very good care of their fleet.A few days before my trip, Sandra sent me a detailed video of all the onboard equipment, and how to use it which I found to be an added value, especially when preparing one's self for their upcoming trip. And seeing as though the link was emailed to me, I could always reference it if something wasn't clear or if I ever doubted myself. Luckily that wasn't the case and I owe a great deal of gratitude to VWR and their on-boarding video. The van itself is a "trip" to drive. It's as if your worries dissipate as soon as you put it in drive. I find it perfect size for the all around camping trip. You fit pretty much anywhere without worry. The amenities and facilities on board work flawlessly. Best of all, I had some of the best sleep ever in it!I highly recommend Vancouver Westy Rentals as they gave me more than ample reasons to be happy choosing them and keeping them in mind for my next visit to the West coast. 5 stars all the way.
Harry Peng: We had a terrific Vancouver Island road trip with one of their apparently older VW Westfalia vans. The van was very well equipped with basically everything you’ll ever need on a road trip like this, and despite its age, handled long periods of driving very well! We also received great service from Sandra, the prices are reasonable and everything was done with exceptional professionalism! It was overall a very pleasant experience, a wonderful way to end the summer!10/10 would recommend
Barbara and Terry Myers: Every detail had been thought of in outfitting our van.....and Sandra was terrific at every turn!
Hannah Lee: We explored the northern part of Vancouver Island in Sandra's wonderful VW Van. The best way to experience some of the remote areas of this beautiful province. The van was well maintained, drove well and has everything you can imagine for your trip! Sandra really thought of everything, just pack your clothes and you are set to go. Sandra was great to deal with, very professional, prompt with her responses and gave us lots of good travel tips. Can wait to plan our next trip with the the Westy!
Elaine Perry: We loved our week in BC’s southern interior in our Westy! The friendly vehicle is an efficient workhorse just big enough for the two of us. Sandra has thought of everything you might need for simple self contained living and for comfort. It’s been à life long dream to take a pilgrimage in a VW camper van and we were not disappointed! Hope to do another trip soon.
Iznadon Waterloo: I love the Eurovan with a very beautiful Vancouver, and I hope to have a longer Eurovan next time.thanks sandra..
Antoine Refondini: Hi everyone,My girlfriend and I rent a Van from Sandra in late october 2019. We went to Vancouver Island for 4 days. The experience was amazing and I warmly recommand westy rental. Regarding the van first, he was fonctionning perfectly. The equipement was perfect, we cooked a lot and it was easy. The price is also very good.Eventually, Sandra is amazing and gave us a lot of tips. She was also very responding and professional wich is important regarding that tip of rental! You can go with Westy rental eyes closed.Cheers
Vili Toth: We spent one whole month traveling around BC in one of Vancouver Westy Rentals' vans and it was a wonderful experience! If you'd like to see pictures of our trip, also featuring the van, check Vezendi Books on instagram! In short all I have to say is good: we're a family of 4 and we never felt the unit to be too small. Sandra, Westy's manager, was extremely kind and helpful... a person you can trust. On the last day, she even helped us chase after a parcel we ordered for delivery in Vancouver to bring back to Europe and which got lost... and we managed to find it.I would recommend Sandra's vans to anyone without hesitation! Enjoy!
Brenda Santaga: We rented one of Sandra's vans the last week of August. The van was clean, well maintained and well equipped. She thought of everything from an axe to a reference guide, a well equipped kitchen to a clothesline with pegs. Easy set up once you pick your camping spot. The pop up roof and bed only took a few minutes. I have to say we were a little skeptical when we first looked at the bed.... we're both quite tall and my husband has broad shoulders but we slept so well in the van. It was very comfortable. There's always the option of sleeping up top but we used that space for clothes and extra storage instead. Loved our coffee in the morning! So cozy if you choose to drink it in the van on cooler mornings. Loved the campsite set up with firepit, picnic table, camp chairs and the van finishing it off.Great van, easy to drive and maneuver. Sandra gave us a detailed rundown when we arrived for pickup. Good explanation on "how to" and where things were tucked away. Really liked dealing with her and would highly recommend Vancouver Westy Rentals. All in all it made for a great camping experience and we look forward to renting from her again!! Thanks Sandra, your customer service and the van made our experience really special.Brenda and Mike ....
Hannah M: We had a fantastic 2 week trip in one of VWR's Eurovans. The van was in great condition with lots of thoughtful touches (tea, coffee, cooking spices, a few little games, torches, maps, etc.).The experience was straightforward and transparent - the price quoted includes everything you'll need with no hidden extras for mileage, equipment etc., as some other firms do.Sandra was incredibly helpful and responsive both throughout booking and the trip (when our windscreen got a minor stone chip whilst driving). She gave us great tips on routes, hidden gems off the beaten track, useful apps and websites, and a really helpful video guiding you through the van features, meaning you can hit the road straightaway confident with what you're doing.Highly recommend!
Leon Tripp: Had a great time in the camper and traveled over 3,500 kl in 17days through snow at times and the trusty VW got us to some amazing places. Sandra was really accommodating and loved the fact that the camper came with all the bits and pieces you need.....we even got a lift to the airport on our return. Would definitely recommend if you want an authentic camper experience. Thanks!!Leon and Sandra Australia
Joanne Davis: Sandra was great, from arranging the booking, to collecting the van, everything was super easy. The westy van was fantastic. We had 11 nights in it and travelled across BC to Alberta and back. It was perfectly kitted out with everything you could possibly need. We cooked in it every night and managed to knock up some good meals on the two ring gas hob! Despite the massive hills and mountain climbs the van went like a dream. We didn't have a single issue at all while we were out. Sandra was only a phone call away in case of any problems and she explained how everything worked and what to do if it didn't before we set off.I would definitely book with Vancouver Westy Rentals again if we return to see more of the West coast. Thanks Sandra for helping us have a brilliant time in Canada. Hopefully we will be back again soon.
tricky dee: I called this place twice and emailed once but nobody ever got back to me.

Sparwood Park: what do users think?
Christian Johannsen: Nice little park off of 49th Avenue near Boundary. Located in a quiet neighborhood beside a school with a playground. It has a small forest in the North end of the park where I dropped off my son for a foam flinging event.Dog-friendliness: Dogs were roaming the park off leash.
Alfa Paper: Good place for Japanese food.
Torchie 2010: Playground: Nice new modern playground we take our grandkids there when we visit.Dog-friendliness: Lots of dog playing
Sandra Rivera Rojas: The forest area is beautiful. Not so many dogs to play tho
Angel Armamento: Clean green space. Natural shaded areas from the trees makes good picnic spots - bring your own gear. Watch your dogs in case of coyotes. Washrooms at the gas station across the street.
Thomas Smith: This park is a nice one in amongst a long line of parks in the area. Attached to Champlain heights elementary it can get hectic during school days/events so if your looking for quiet maybe head to Everett Crowley park during those times. It loses a star since the field has a incline in some parts. If your playing badminton or volleyball you can avoid it but soccer could be affected. For baseball there is a gravel field so they got that covered at least and the school has 3 basketball courts but that's school grounds not park. It's also ok for sunbathing/yoga if that is your thing. Happily it has benches but they are usually exposed to sun so it's not much a relief. It has a good forested area that I enjoy seeing in parks, it offers respite from the heavy sun. As mentioned it's attached to Champlain elementary so there is a good playground rated for kids (don't recall age) so toddlers should be restricted/watched. Then the trails in the area cut through between the park and school so it integrates right into the community pathways.Overall a nice park to have around, not stellar but good for little explorers and those wanting to play small court games.
David Sin: It's a quiet park in urban area, I love to stay for some time at Sunny day, very close to home.
Justin Lam: Off leash dog park when it’s after school hours. It’s not fenced in though, but at least the roads are quiet. Doesn’t get too busy, but at least it’s nice to have somewhere like this in the neighborhood.
AC CC: Wonderful park
Tal Bernstein: A beautiful hidden park
Honto Ming: Good off leash dog park in the evening, but it's part of the school do it's not fenced in.
Donna Dame: Get to walk your dog
Andrew Fedorovsky: Nice and calm
W T: Quiet and small but located on a very quiet neighborhood. It would be part of a larger walk more so than a destination..
Danny Hourican: Big open park, a lot of space and many places for activities of all ages.
N H: Dog off leash hours in the morning and evenings
LUU DUYEN NGUYEN: Thân thiện, trong lành. Thích hợp cho gia đình picnic.
Hannah Haji: Has a lot of logs to walk on which is fun and it's close to a playground and field
Clark Mitchell: Pleasant arrangement of doggos, puppers and the occasional woofer. Quiet, accessible, and the neighboring landscapers are very friendly

DROPLET Trailer: what do users think?
James Francia: Prior to visiting the shop, I placed a deposit on a new trailer build. Since I was going to be in Vancouver, I asked Pascal if I could swing by. He was more than happy to give me a tour of his place, show me the building process, let me poke around in one of the rentals he had on site, and answered all of my questions. He was very gracious with his time. I'm extremely excited to see the final product and start hitting the road!
Paul Enns: The service we’ve received from Pascal and the Droplet team has exceeded our expectations since we purchased our trailer in 2019. Communication has always been prompt and clear. Minor repairs and upgrades have kept our Droplet in great working condition. We couldn’t be more pleased with our purchase 3 years later. We rave about Pascal and the service he provides whenever people ask us about the Droplet - which happens a lot :)
Majd Agha: Pascal and the team are wonderful, punctual and great service! we been working with them for years with no problems at all, highly recommend their services!
Darryl Mackie: We rented a Droplet for a two week tour of the southwest US in November. Silly us as we didn’t realize that so many of the natural geographic highlights are quite high in altitude and therefore downright chilly. Temperatures dropped to minus 7 Celsius. Despite this we were very cosy and warm inside the Droplet. The bed was super comfortable and we added an electric blanket for the extra chilly nights. No problems sleeping! The trailer is so easy to tow and very stable. We encountered some terrible rainy weather on the way home with very high and gusting wind; big rigs were weaving in their lanes but we felt absolutely nothing from the Droplet as it is both light and very close to our tow vehicle (Sienna van). The refrigerator worked very well as did the camping stove and the battery pack could be recharged by the solar panel while even driving.All-in-all we had an excellent experience. Way better than sleeping in the cold ground - those days are long past. I would highly recommend this to anyone but next time we would consider a small generator so that you can truly be off grid when it is cold or not sunny although Pascal from Droplet said that they are coming out with models with larger batteries which might make a generator unnecessary.
A L.L: This was a great little trailer. The weight was just light enough (just under 1000lbs) for my 1500lb max towing capacity. The bed was comfy and the batteries kept us with power long enough until the next campsite recharge. Thank you droplet, I'd recommended your trailer to anyone who asked us about it.
Zachary Liu: Very very good teardrop trailer, Cozy, convenient, and useful!!!
Ashley Watson: We had a fantastic experience renting from Droplet and camping in the trailer. The staff were easy to communicate with and we loved that late checkout was an option. We towed it with our 2016 Kia Soul with no issues from Vancouver to the Okanagan and back. We turned the trailer aroubd at site to have our pantry (car hatch) and kitchen back to back. Super well laid out in the kithenette space. My husband is 6'2 and he was very comfortable sleeping in the queen sized bed. Would highly recommend if you want to buy or rent a lightweight trailer.
Sheree Rutherford: I have had my Droplet Trailer for 1 year and have already traveled 5000 km with it. I love it! I recently had it out on a very rainy trip and discovered a leak. I emailed Pascal at Droplet and immediately the problem was addressed. I was back on the road in no time. Great service.
Gord Lechner: We had a great time with this Droplet Teardrop. With a duel receiver we could add the ebikes. Great service as well. Thank you!
Ketchup Mayo: Amazing experience with the Droplet Trailer!Easy to tow with our vehicle and very confortable on the inside, our friends were jaleous they did not have a droplet in our group campsite. We had a baby with us and he slept without any difficulty during the nights.Pascal provided excellent customer support and very clear instructions on how to hitch and un-hitch the droplet - very easy to use trailer.I will rent it again for our next camping trip!
Stephen Burgess: Not a great start with Droplet. Their booking system is terrible. I had the trailer I wanted book months ago. They messed up the time to pickup and gave the trailer I booked to someone else.I’m not going to deal with them anymore until they apologize for the inconvenience or find a more acceptable solution. Not a trustworthy company. Try Evolve or Northern Trailer instead.Yeah! Your company final report is still poor. Still no apology and they didn’t find the reason for the major screw up on my booking. Nor did they try to do better on their mistake.
Kim-Lee Juanita Esperanto Sheikh Hussein: Great experience! The trailer is very convenient and versatile. Everything was clean. We were on vacation from Manitoba so we had no camping supplies but everything we needed was provided with the trailer like dishes, soap, cooking equipment, camping chairs, canopy, awning, road shower, clean bedsheet. We drove to Squamish and then took the ferry to Vancouver Island; the trailer handled really well during the voyage.(rental cars do not allow towing so we rented a U-Haul pick up truck instead and also bought the correct hitch for $10 from u-Haul. This is only $19 a day plus .79 cents per mile compared to the $500 per day which is being charged on Vancouver Island for rental cars at this time because of shortages so we saved a lot!)Pascal was extra friendly, patient and accommodating.Tip: Make sure to arrive early and have plenty of time to familiarize yourself if it is your first time. There's a lot of amenities to learn about so don't be in too much of a rush to practice everything (like how to set up the canopy, the awning, how the trailer hitch works) before you leave.
Robert Gage: We love our Droplet trailer. It is a quality product and the people are great to work with. It is small and light to tow behind our Mazda CX5 - no problem. I'm 6'1" and there is ample room for me to stretch out at night. The two of us found it quite comfortable. The power system with the battery pack, the solar cells and associated lighting and outlets are super well designed. We traveled through the southwest and mostly kept everything charged via the solar panel. Storage is ample. The kitchen works well. When people see it it seems they just have to come over and ask about it. It is really cute and just a lot of fun. It is a quality product, well designed and well priced for what you get.
Antonia Reynolds: Pascal and his team are kind and accommodating. They make sure your Droplet rental is a success, so you want to return for another trip in the future! The Droplet is an awesome little trailer, sporting all the comforts of home for your short stay away.
R B: The droplet trailer was wonderful for towing behind a conventional 4 cylinder Toyota RAV4. It was great to be able to have a recreational camper without having to upgrade to a larger truck or car. The bed was extremely comfortable and great to be above ground. It was very long and the skylights and extra large doors were wonderful as it made the cabin feel very spacious. The pop up kitchen was very practical and well used and everything worked well when you had adequate sunshine to power the solar panels. However, as is common in BC, if you are placed in a shaded campsite for several days it is difficult to get the adequate solar power to run the fridge and lights. In this case you either have to run your car for a while to charge the batteries, or acquire a generator to charge them up. If you are driving every second day or so then you might get enough solar and charge from the car to keep you good. It was very easy to use and move around and great for positioning the trailer exactly the way you wanted it to be. During our camping trip it was quite hot outside and with bugs outside we could not leave the doors open at night to sleep. As a result it was very warm inside the camper and it was difficult to sleep even with the top air vent completely open. The small windows allowed some cross breeze but it would be a nice improvement if the doors had some sort of screen capability to allow for a cross breeze. It know there is steel grade mesh screen that would allow for air flow and security at the same time and perhaps this could be integrated in to future model upgrades. It would not have to be large, but enough to keep the cabin more ventilated. This is always a challenge as you don't want to keep on adding more heavy things as you want to keep the trailer under 1000 lbs. It was a great experience travelling with the droplet and look forward to your next rental.
Connie Shaw: I've been looking at these types of trailers for ages now and after having rented last week I am convinced The Droplet comes in at the top. It's basically perfect. Super easy to tow (I've never towed anything before). Thoughtful storage. Amazing sleeps on comfortable bed. Entirely uncomplicated process, made even more so by Pascal/Adam who are thorough communicators. This brilliant little setup will convince anyone that camping can be extra comfortable. Plan is to purchase....financing is available!
Brio House (BrioHouseWhistler): We just rented the Droplet to try the concept out as our family grows. we have a large roof top tent which as great until the boys got bigger and bigger. I like the idea of keeping the tent and adding the teardrop as a second bedroom. It exceeded all of our expectations. It's so easy and light to tow that you almost forget its there, and adds the benefit to campaign of towing a bedroom with storage and a mini kitchen, so it added way more to the bargain than I had anticipated. Packing clothes into cupboards with shelves felt luxurious on a camping trip that normally struggles to find things in bags and boxes. Same with the kitchen, it became the hub for cooking as it is so easy to use and well thought out. To top it all off the bed is exceptionally comfortable. It was a nightly fight to see whether the kids or the adults got the mobile bedroom!!! The mattress is great quality and this was like sleeping at home or in a hotel. I should add that the guys at Droplet provided camping chairs by woods, and that there is a fridge in the kitchen powered by a battery so off grid we had almost 3 days of refrigeration. Awesome.
Chris Hindy: My experience with the Droplet team has been first-rate. Our initial purchase of a Droplet happened in the height of the 2020 third wave pandemic, and in spite of the stress and disruption, Pascal and the team were all polite, professional and helpful in getting our trailer ordered and delivered. I'm also very impressed with the quality of the product. We've spent some pretty cold Fall nights out in the backcountry with no power and really all we've needed to stay warm was one additional blanket. Never had a problem with anything on the unit at all, no problems with leaks or fitment issues. Droplet is a great product, and a great company and I'm happy to strongly recommend them to you.
Mega Paul: Really lovely trailer, well designed and comfortable. Pickup and drop off times are not ideal as you lose a whole day picking up at 4PM. Had an emergency that caused us to drop off late and felt lots of pressure from owner. Also accused of breaking items that we didn’t even touch. Trailer was great though and overall experience was very fun.
David Weber: I'm very impressed with their trailer.
Thomas Pallister: Pascal and his team were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Exceptional build quality and components throughout and unique designs that make very good use of space. One of the most open and lightweight designs we have seen so far!
