Connie Ono: If this is your first time visiting Vancouver, Miku would be my top recommendations on your itinerary list for places to eat. Now, this isn't your typical sushi restaurant, in fact, I would consider this to be fine dining and here's why. When it comes to Japanese food, presentation is the most important next to customer service level, and they are bang on. I absolutely love how intricate their sushi layered to simplicity on a plate. Reminds me of a zen garden. The waiters/ waitress' are knowledgeable of their dishes being served and super friendly! Dishes are, at minimum $20, but the portions are decently sized. (Anything with Wagyu will always be expensive). They do offer gluten -free and vegetarian dishes and non alcoholic drinks.(I had their Shiso Nojito and it was the most refreshing non-alcoholic I've ever had. Not too sweet either).Overall, I would highly recommend it for first time travellers to Vancouver. It's absolutely a beautiful place to dine in!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free available
Ayushi: I loved this place! Sushi was so fresh and flavourful. Our waiter was so kind and informative, he really knew the menu and provided great recommendations. Worth every penny!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salmon Oshi Sushi, Sashimi, Aburi Sushi, Green Tea Opera …More
Keith C: We had the 7 course Kaiseki dinner and were very impressed by the taste of most of the dishes. Also, the portion is very large and we found it quite heavy.Favourites are the insanely tender fillet, the Hokkaido scallop, oyster, and fresh sashimi.Few of the menu items were a miss, such as the Uni (Sea urchin) which we found not fresh at all. And sake pairing was late for one of the courses.Overall, this was a delicious meal and definitely recommended. We would have liked some lighter dishes that were not fatty-protein-focused, or slightly less portion for lower price (like the omakase platter at the end). Bring a large appetite if you are ordering this tasting menu!
Junky Mailhai: For the price, I thought that it’s an okay place. The food is fresh and the service is good. I didn’t love the sushi. It was good but not amazing. At CAD $50 per person, I felt that it could be a bit more than what it was. The salmon sushi and the soba noodles were tasty.Recommended dishes Sushi …More

Milly 楊楊: Our server Kana was the highlight of our dinner She was so thoughtful! Never let our tea or water run low. Made wonderful suggestions tailored to each of our taste! I myself am vegan so she even thought to come up with something not on the menu to make sure I have a different variety of entree 😭!The food and the service is equally amazing!Thank you Kana for a great time!

Alexander Chan: Went to Minami last year and had saved Miku for a special occasion. Food was great and the space is really nice, but was disappointed they changed the surf and turf roll without changing the name.
t t: Sushi in Vancouver is an obvious choice and I visited Miku recently for the first time. Due to its popularity we weren’t able to get a reservation for dinner but came as a walk in at lunch time!! Great service and atmosphere, views right in the harbour. If you love sushi you 100% need to go here.
ミスタードーナツ: People go here for the pressed sushi, which is pretty awesome, but their protein selection is pretty impressive to. Try the lamb, try the prime rib.
Séhèce: Such a travel in my mouthFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joel Chan: This restaurant was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and had surprisingly large portions. Our server was professional and attentive. My ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the sablefish was also delicious. The surf and turf role was excellent and I would order it again. The view was also lovely during dinner.
Chris L: I love Miku! Every time I’m in Vancouver I make sure to go and get the tart in my photo. In fact, on my last trip I went four days in a row for lunch. Definite must try when I’m Vancouver.Recommended dishes Sashimi Platter, Aburi Sushi, Salmon Oshi Sushi …More

Service was fast and the waitress was so sweet, she kept our cups full of green tea the whole visit! The sushi was so fresh and delicious. The tempura was very fresh and hot.Saw lots of people stopping in for pick up, seems like a popular option for locals. Most of the tables were full and everyone seemed very happy.

Amy Zhou: **Service dog denied entry** Yesterday evening I went in with a friend looking forward to having dinner & the manager refused my friend's service dog.In a truly astonishing move the manager refused to talk to or look at us & stood at the counter while an employee was sent to tell us the service dog (with valid ID) was not allowed in the restaurant. I'm... at a loss for what to say. That decision was very much illegal & I can't imagine ever returning knowing what dubious ethical standards are in place here.**Update post-management response:It's unsurprising to me that someone who denies service animals from entry would also have the disgusting audacity to lie.We showed them formal identification for the service dog identification & informed them that what they were doing was illegal. There was zero misunderstanding about whether the dog was a service animal or emotional support animal and I'm disappointed that they've seemingly never been held accountable for creating a hostile environment for individuals who rely on service animals.

Kadoya Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?
BMX SICKNESS: No.1 I love the food here. It's never been a disappointment.No.2 It's close to my work.No.3 The service here is amazing. I forgot my wallet at home today and Haily (server) was cool enough to pay for my meal and accept an etransfer from me. What an amazing gesture. I wish more people were as thoughtful as her. I've already been a having a bad week, however, her kindness really made my day.Btw....The secret garden roll is the bomb! 💣💣💣💣
Dexter Pratt: During my visit, I encountered some challenges that left me disappointed. Firstly, I had to wait for approximately 20 minutes before a server took my order. I had to approach them myself as they seemed busy with other tasks. This initial delay was frustrating and set a negative tone for the rest of my visit.Furthermore, after placing my order, I waited for an additional 45 minutes to receive my food. This extended wait time was completely unacceptable and left me feeling impatient and dissatisfied. Regrettably, when the food finally arrived, it did not meet my expectations. The quality was below par, and it did not justify the long wait.Additionally, the atmosphere in the restaurant was not conducive to an enjoyable dining experience. I was subjected to loud rap music with explicit lyrics and a heavy bass. This choice of music was not suitable for a dining environment and made it difficult to have a pleasant conversation or relax during the meal.Considering the issues I encountered, I regret to inform you that I will not be returning to your restaurant. As a customer, I value efficient service, reasonable wait times, and a pleasant ambiance, all of which were lacking during my recent visit.
Elias Hanna: Top japanese food
Ramona Sharma: Really good sushi, buzzy atmosphere, and convenient location. Might be a bit small for some (tables really close together) but we didn't mind. The special rolls were really good. Also, we really liked how they're open till 1 am!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Volcano Roll, Spicy Tuna …More
Diego Ramos: A right spot if you’re craving for sushi late night! Visited last night , even it was after 10pm the restaurant was full and seemed very busy with a big group table and take-out orders. Only one waitress was taking care of everything/everyone at once yet she was very professional, friendly, and tried to help with what I asked for. We got sashimis, crazy boy roll(amazing!) and few other rolls. Had to wait for a while since it was very busy which was reasonable. Super yummy. 100% recommend.
Ricardo Pardey Cifuentes: Sushi pizza is a joke and spicy salmon roll is dull
Çağrı Dölek: I was there, on Tuesday night at 10.30 and the customer service was awful, we could hardly order the food and waited more than 25 mins. And the stuff was so rude, I felt like they are forced to work in that place. Server needs to put a smile on her face.
Kira Zala: Restaurant was a phenomenal addition to our trip to Davie Village. The maki, sushi, and sashimi were all very fresh! We were visiting from out of province and we were shocked at how fresh their mackerel and salmon were. Service was excellent and atmosphere was inviting. Price is absolutely amazing for the quality. Would recommend to everyone!!!

Lisa McLaren: So disappointing. I used to love it. I've been going to Kadoya since 2008. The restaurant has gone so downhill since then. I ordered agedashi tofu and it was completely inedible, slimy and difficult to chew through. When I brought this to their attention, they told me it was the way they make it. It wasn't even crispy. Even though I could not eat it, they did not offer to remove it from our bill. The sunomono was very watered down and had no flavour. The rolls were ok, but just ok. I will never be back. Save your money and avoid Kadoya, it's awful now.
Andrew Elliott: food was bland or under cooked, staff tried to tell us it was supposed to taste bad. This place has really gone down hill
vanessa marie-claude paquette: The person on the phone was so rude that I canceled my order of 70+$Because of this experience I will never order or it there again

오수아: HIGH RECOMMEND!!! The best rolls and udon! The rolls are very good for the price and udon is the best udon I've ever had. And above all, the best service of the kitchen and hall server! I want to give you 10 stars!
Nick Leduc: If you're looking for a sushi restaurant with good quality sushi and balanced portions, this is not the place for you. It left me feeling extremely disappointed and unsatisfied. The restaurant had an excessive amount of rice in the sushi rolls. The rice completely overwhelmed the flavor of the fish, and it was clear that the restaurant was using rice as a cheap filler ingredient. The portions of fish and main ingredient was TINY.. leaving me feeling ripped off and still hungry despite the large amount of rice. This was my second visit and despite giving them a second chance the second time was worst.. look else where, there are great places around!

Robert Zheng: Have Returned. Would recommend.Thick cut, generous portions of fresh fish. This is one of those last bastions of midrange Sushi for everyone. Non assuming small restaurant.Recommend the sashimi set, the Tuna can probably be skipped. But the Salmon was super tasty as well as the Hamachi, which was buttery and tender.I'd normally be distrusting of such a large menu but the tempura looked pretty decent too.Doesn't take AMEX.Feb 2023:Salmon same size but other fish, such as Hamachi have become much thinner/smaller. Prices have gone up a lot since my last visit a year ago, no longer a clear worth it winner.@trebzheng

Maggie Smith: The tuna, specifically, was rancid. Looked bad, smelled bad, tasted rotten. No chewing needed. The rolls I ate prior to the tuna-discovery were too large, poorly rolled, and lacking flavour. Large as in, the size of a toddlers shoe. Can you fit your nephews shoe in your mouth? I don’t think so.Under no circumstances do I recommend this restaurant. How, HOW, does this place rank highly? Bots?!
liz bush: I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experiences with the restaurant. This is my first time leaving a review, but I feel compelled to do so because of the poor business practices that I have witnessed. To begin with, I purchased discounted California rolls during happy hour on my last visit, only to find out later that I was charged the full price. While the taste of the food was mediocre, this incident left a sour taste in my mouth. Additionally, during my most recent visit, I noticed that my sushi order was missing the soy sauce packets. When I asked for two packets, I was informed that I would be charged an additional $0.53. I was shocked to see that the restaurant seems to prioritize finding ways to charge customers more money rather than focusing on making the food more delicious.I urge future customers to be wary of their bills and ensure that they are not being overcharged. It is unacceptable to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, especially when it comes at the expense of loyal patrons. I hope that the restaurant may take my feedback seriously and make necessary changes to improve your business practices in the future.

Tsomo: I always walk down this street, but I just decided to try out Miko for the first time. I don’t know why it took me this long, but I’m so glad I did.First off, this restaurant is Japanese owned, and you can tell. The culture and atmosphere is very vibrant and cozy here. We loved the wooden interior with the small booths and the casual hung up autographs/images on the walls. For food; as beef teriyaki don lovers we decided to try out Miko’s beef don. It wasn’t the usual beef teriyaki don you’d receive when ordering at any other restaurant. The meat had a different cut and it was throughly coated in sauce. It was amazing. Even the beans sprouts underneath the meat was so good. Usually in other restaurants the beansprouts seems like it’s just added on to make the beef look fuller and there’s no effort into making them flavourful. However, when we received this dish it was great. It tasted like it was meant to be there, not just as a side thought. We loved Miko and we’ll definitely come back to try more of the menu. Thank you for having us ~ 🙏🏼Parking: downtown street parking or parking lots

Satoko Oka Norimatsu: I used to go to the branch on Broadway and it was the first time to visit the downtown restaurant. Spacious, clean and comfortable setting. I had a veggie combo, with a big healthy salad, agedashi tofu, and brown rice rolls. Given the recent price hikes everywhere I thought it was very reasonable to be able to have this healthy set (organic and sustainable) for less than 20 dollars after tax and tip. The restaurant is located at a little hard to find place but certainly a gem!
KC Vidal: Bit pricy but the food was so good
Anna Zlaman: Alway very fresh and tasty! thoughtful presentation. Service is nice. I have been here plenty of times and have never been disappointed.
Brian Kaiser: Whenever I'm in Vancouver I make it a point to visit Shizenya. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is quick and helpful. miyuki: Staff are very polite and attentive. Food tastes like home made. My husband and I love udon noodles and dinner combo. Especially udon and miso soup tasted authentic dashi and felt comforting. We love to go back when we are in Vancouver next time.うどんも味噌汁も出汁がきいていて、とてもおいしかったです!全体的に優しいお味で外食特有の胃もたれもせず、食後も気分良く過ごせました。良い食材を使用している割には庶民のお値段でありがたいです!
Andrew Clapham: Delicious vegan udon and vegan sushi! Actually healthy too.
Gabrielle Price: I have been a patron at shizenya - at their first location for a very long time. It’s one of my favourite places to get sushi now that I live on the North Shore. It’s a long trek for me to get there today I dined in and was greeted promptly by a very nice server, even when I left the kitchen person chased me down to make sure that I got my bag. My problem is not with the staff , I usually don’t complain, but today the yam roll was not edible, very soggy, stick wet rice and over fried scraps of yam. quite frankly it was disgusting. When I finally got the courage to complain about my sushi roll. She offered me a discount after I had only in two pieces and they gave me 10% to me. This is very tacky when you know that your product wasn’t up to standard and you still try to sell it to somebody for full price. This to me as an unfortunate business transaction on their part and definitely does not make me feel like a valued customer or guest
Monique Hutchinson: Loved it. Fresh delicious sashimi - we had the chirashi bowl, came with tonnes of brown rice and the sashimi was so so fresh. They have a relationship with the aquarium too to ensure sustainable fish is used. Lovely fragrant loose leaf jasmine tea too. Restaurant was quiet and had a very relaxed vibe - it was a Monday evening. Recommend!

Their multiple course meal is delicious and their sake selection is the most unique and flavourful. Highly recommend for multiple visits to enjoy the full spectrum of the menu. Service is pleasant, very attentive and family oriented. Decor and presentation are another paragraph. 5 stars!
Armand Rashid: Amazing dining experience worth spending the extra cash for a tasty meal with phenomenal sushi. Every roll and nigiri tasted different had different texture and flavor that wasn't what you usually find at your typical sushi place. The spicy edamame was a fun change and the salmon oshi was 🔥.Parking: Not a ton of parking on the street in this section of Yale town and the nearest parking garage isn't too far away but it's all pay parkingDietary restrictions: They were pretty accommodating for GF options.

Paul Rondeau: Minami is definitely one of the best Japanese & sushi spots in town! Try their selection of aburi and rolls and you won’t be disappointed! The quality of all their food is amazing and the service is 5/5. Highly recommend the ebi fritters, tuna tartar and any of the aburi options. Our server, Taylor, was super friendly and deserves a shout out for making the birthday dins a special evening! It’s a pricey restaurant but worth it! Try to reserve a spot on their patio if you can.

Eewei Seah: I came in thinking this place would be more hip than delicious but everything was wonderful. The minami zen is great value. The sablefish was perfect. It really didn’t need the egg, the rice and fish themselves were so good.
D Moo: Really awesome food and service. Had the Premium Select and Oshi Sampler with the Uni and Wagyu Nigiri. My favorite pieces (in order) were the Uni Nigiri, Ebi Oshi, Saba Oshi and Salmon Oshi. Loved majority of the Premium Select as well.
K P: One of the Best Japanese Restaurants in Vancouver. Great quality of food!!!!

Alaleh Black: Pretty delicious high end and unique Japanese cuisine. Usually there is a line up.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Deepak Toor: better than miku. really liked it, and its rated in top 2-3 sushi restaurants in vancouver since 2015 (vancouver east atleast)
Jason Bradley: Kishimoto San and his team are the best. Authentic Japanese culinary experience with local ingredients and exceptional service. 🙏Vegetarian options: Lots of healthy optionsParking: It’s on the Drive so what else can I say?
Mehdi Karamnejad: Very Very good food but service was so poor. we got an appetizer and 4 roles. everything came at different times I saw delivery and people coming after us getting their food while our food was not fully ready yet.
Adéla Köhlerová: Small cozy restaurant, and the food is one of the best i ever had!! Rare, delicious offer, with fresh ingredients.
chuck mak: Cauliflower - lukewarm with way too much white pepper powder and too much sauceEdamame - got too much seaweed powder that ruined itChirashi - served in a paper box with mini square thinly cut fish and the rice is dryTheir sushi roll just falls apart because of their dry rice.Salmon Kama - under baked just tasteOkonomiyaki - extremely under cook, everything is very runny insideOverall food wise the looks is better than it actual taste and honestly missed the mark
Andrew D: Everything we had was excellent! The Oshi was a standout along with the Blue Fin Tuba
Conner de Leeuw: Me again, oshi was bomb, mochi ice cream omg

adam finch: I love their sushi, and I think it's quite high quality. But for many menu items the cost is unjustifiable. I just spent $20 for karaage, which was just 4 small pieces of chicken, the equivalent of less than two chicken thighs. It tasted nice but there's no chicken on the planet worth that much.
Hess Im: The best sushi I ever had in Vancouver. Amazing quality of food and service. I’ll definitely come back.

Hitoe Sushi gluten free: what do users think?
Allyson Sterling: It was all so delicious! Service was great! And best, was knowing it was safe for us to eat, as Gluten Free ! Will definitely go again.
hanh tran: Some of the best food I've ever had in my life! We did the sashimi combo A and tried the specials (2 cuts of flounder and snapper nigiri), unagi nigiri, otoro sashimi, and salmon kama. The sashimi and nigiri were so fresh, and melted in your mouth. They also use real wasabi and it's 100 times better (and less spicier) than wasabi used with horseradish and mustard. We let them know it was my first time in Vancouver from Toronto, and the chef gifted us two of the nigiri's on the house, and our waitress was amazing :) We will be coming back here every trip to Vancouver, the quality is unmatched for the price!
Andy Ng: Good is not bad but a bit pricy..the ramen is good but not the sashimi and sushiFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Adam Wasyliw: Really good and friendly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Chad Steeves: One of those locations you may easily walk by without thinking to try it, and you would be missing out! Amazing Sushi rolls and Ramen. Quaint atmosphere with great service. Not many seats but they offer take outParking: Lots of parking on the street in front of the locationDietary restrictions: Wide variety of Gluten Free and Vegetarian options
Ryan Marshall: Everything tasted great. We got Mango roll, rainbow roll, spicy salmon sushi, nigeto something, Sabi (Mackerel) sushi, and salmon sashimi. Everything was very pretty presentation, fancy stuff. You pay a premium to eat here in prices, but it is very high quality. The waiting/host staff are all young ladies who speak English well, and the chefs and all staff appear to be of Japanese descent, so it's quite authentic. It's pretty small (seats maybe 20 people?) And a little cramped, low lighting, but I go for good food, not a pretty dining environment kind of experience. I think our bill was probably around $115 tax and maybe tip in three of us, for two 10-pc rolls, two sushis (6-8 piece), and one 6 piece sashimi.Parking: No parking lot, street parking only.
Jeff: The food was great and the wasabi seemed home made. Our server left before we finished the meal and didn't tell us to go pay at the counter, but we figured it out. There really is no atmosphere, just tables crammed in and not much room to move about. Eat and leave, not comfortable to sit around.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Frank Jia: Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Must try sushi place in Vancouver (even if you're not GF).
Kevin Chan: Horrible quality of food. Order takeout, the rolls were all mostly rice. Not only that their sushi rice mix was weirdly sweet. Too much vinegar and sugar. Fish to rice ratio was also hilarious.
Parvin Hooshi: Very good sushi. Service was good too
Ian Muirhead: Great quality and uniquely tasty.
Dat Phan: They have a gluten free menu and completely celiac safe as their chef is super knowledgeable. Everything on the gluten free menu is celiac safe, just make sure to ask which items that are not on the menu if it is gluten free and celiac safe.We had both gluten free ramen options which were both phenomenal (the seafood ramen and the vegan ramen). Both ramen bowls used the same broth and gluten free noodles, both were light and packed with flavor. Definitely the best gluten free ramen I ever had and confident that it is celiac safe. We also had the ankimo, melty salmon nigiri, ika (squid) nigiri, and hamachi Kama (grilled yellow tail check; it was a large plate and definitely recommend rice with it).
Martí CaMe: Great quality and service. Feeling like being in a real Japanese Sushi restaurant. Best BC Roll so far!Recommended dishes Roll, Dynamite Roll, Sushi and Sashimi Combo, Nigiri …More

Paulina K: So incredibly impressed with this sushi place - they have a whole menu card dedicated to all gluten free sushi! Absolutely incredible salmon & their wasabi is the authentic wasabi plant. A bit on the pricier side but worth it.
Mathew Penner: Amazing quality sashimi and sushi. Excellent service! Would highly recommend. Get the chutoro; it was delicious!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Matthew Pedley: The food is very good here. The real Wasabi is great.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Germaine: Wanted to gatekeep this treasure of a place, but this underrated restaurant deserves all the good reviews they can get! Fresh and succulent fish at a reasonable price, with delicious mains like the piping hot tempura udon to enjoy together on a cold day. The staff deserve praise on their friendly, attentive and considerate service. We dropped a pair of chopsticks and without asking for it, they have already brought a new pair for us. A cute little shop in Kitsilano, its a little tucked away but the ambience of this restaurant is a great place for dates, celebrations or even just a meal out. 10/10 recommend
Evgenia Fine: This is my favourite sushi place in Vancouver! I loved coming here with my daughter when she was a baby, very calming atmosphere, nice service and amazing sushi. Unfortunately lately the prices gone up so much I am not able to afford coming in regularly anymore.

Michael G Etc: Don't trust photos on the menu, you will get 1/5th of ikura shown and sashimi are cut extrely thin in Donburi. Basically you are buying overpriced rice with unfilling decorations. Need to spend at least $50 to get full. But hey, fine dining in a city of millionaires.
Sy Y.: 2023-04-28 LunchWe both went to eat together. I couldn't help but ordered the Unagi Don. The food here is good, delicious and beautiful.
Karen: Very delicious sashimi and donburi!! I like the rice they use. 😋Will come back for more for sure. What a cozy restaurant 🍣 🥢. They also have omkase and seasonal specials.
Karla T: Edit to add: 1 year later and still 10/10.Really good sushi. Highly recommend!
Sandra Chua: Excellent king salmon & sashimi. Fish is always fresh daily & extremely high quality. The chefs & waitresses Micki & Nana always provide great customer service too.Thank you so much!
Sibylle Avelena: Had a lovely dinner with my sister at Uma Sushi today. She ordered the Himawari donburi with extra cured egg yolk and miso soup, while I had the Shiromi Donburi with extra miso soup. The donburi was excellent. The fish was very fresh and tasty, you can also feel the sweetness and the texture from the slices. The portion was also great for me.We also ordered a small plate of Tako Wasabi for appetizer. I highly recommend this dish if you're a fan of raw octopus and wasabi. Uma Sushi's Tako Wasabi was hands down the best I've had in Vancouver so far.Overall, food was excellent, reasonable price, and the great service. We're definitely coming back soon!
Anna Mazurik: Went here for lunch today with work colleagues. Wow! So delish and reasonably priced - $13 veg platter was enough for lunch today and tomorrow! Very accommodating with our dietary needs and substitutions. Will be coming back!
Carina Chao: One of my favourite places for donburi. The fish is sliced very thin, so prepare yourself and don't expect giant pieces, but I appreciate that they're trying to keep the price reasonable. Still extremely delicious and good quality. My favourite is the Shiromi Donburi, which you can't usually find elsewhere.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Assorted Chirashi Donburi …More

Melisa Cecilia: Fish was very fresh and the rice was seasoned nicely. I like it also that the pieces are not too huge that it fits in one bite, proportions between the sashimi and rice was perfect also.Place is pretty small and very crowded on meal time, make sure you get early. They have bar seats though so if you’re alone, it’s easier to find a seat
Anna Torgerson: Feels very genuine and original. I would highly recommend :)Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.Parking: Can be pricey unless you park further away.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.
Ki J: Such a pleasure to be able to come to uma again. I come once a month, everytime i’m back. It’s so good to see this place is busy all the time, it’s really wonderful. Chef ping curates fresh fish selections weekly and come if you like exploring new things. This week I tried the cooked hamachi cheek and the tuna tataki. The aburi sushi is also amazing. I eat so much I’m stuffed everytime.
t SCH: Lived up to the hype. Amazing salmon and tuna plus interesting rolls. No alcohol but stop by 33 down the road before heading in.
