Urban Beat Dance Co: what do users think?
Daniel Carter: I'm a bit surprised this place has so few reviews. When I was first looking for places to take class, I dismissed it for that very reason. But a coworker gave it high praises so I decided to check it out. I'm 4 classes in, and they've already taught 5 basic moves and gotten into the fundamentals of connection, and leading/following, which some other schools I've gone to don't even really touch on till like 3-4 months in.I think the curriculum (so far at least) is very efficiently designed and effective at teaching what you need to know when you need to know it. I think if you're very new to dancing, this is a gentle, but challenging introduction that ramps up at a good rate.Their website FAQ is also a very interesting read, especially on teaching philosophy.
Feli City: The classes were so much fun and it was great to have a dance right after the class. Excellent teachers. I'm so glad I found them! Can't wait to take more classes in September when I'm back in Vancouver.
Vuk Simic: Great place to learn or practice West Coast Swing. All the teachers are friendly and experienced.
Jarred J: Great for learning West coast swing
Amy Minh: I signed up for 8 lessons. After the 4th class, I hurt my low back and was no longer able to continue dancing. I even offered a medical note from my doctor indicating I am no longer able to dance due to my back pain. I was hoping they would give me credit for the remaining 4 classes as I want to continue taking classes with them. Unfortunately the lady insisted that it was company policy to not grant credit. What a shame!

D2 Dance Studio: what do users think?
Stuart Ho: Nice atmosphere and great dance floor
Dan B: So much fun here! And really nice little space!
Albert Saravi: Good place, very clean. Good air ventilation
BJClayden: Latin dance events for years. One of the best spots in town
Tom De Pauw: The Sunday night salsa and bachata and kizomba dance was well attended, very friendly, clean and spacious. I will surely return.
More Memorable Events: The Danceys are such a wonderful support for the local dance community. They are thoughtful and kind and run events that are inclusive and loads of fun. I smile so much when dancing at the ballroom that my face hurts. The dance instructors are talented and very good. Had an excellent bachata lesson with Carla and Javi. Wonderful experience for my neubie friend. He left with some useful skills and confidence to keep trying and having fun. Can't ask for more than that. And dancers of all skill levels enjoyed the lesson because everyone learned something. Can't wait to return.
Omar Serry: Amazing staff, studio and vibes. Special thanks to Patrick, Lily and Kebera!
Greg Dombowsky: Modern space with a good sound system. Relatively good parking nearby. Great instructors and owners. Their parties are often busy as well.
Farah S: Great managers and great teacherWill be back for many many other classes for sure.
Nathalie F.R.: I went there for wine and cheese night. Laid-back (I.e. not very intimidating) environment! I danced 4 hrs without a break. Was it the music? The dancers? The fact that I haven't danced in ages? The vino? Idk. Perhaps all the above. But yet one thing stands-- the staff here are down to earth and pleasant ^^
Greg Slonina: I'd say this is one of the best dance studios in Vancouver
Beth Mac Donald: I finally got to experience Salsa lessons. I am so thankful that I got to experience it here! The instructor was friendly, helpful, hands on and made lessons FUN. Great way to spend a Friday evening.
Paula Bruna Victória Ferreira Schutt: Dance school with great instructors! I took salsa lessons with Patrick and he is the best! Love their socials, very friendly environment! I just wish it could be more spacious like the old Dancey Ballroom, but I understand that Vancouver rentals are crazy expensive.
David Maud: Not only a great place to learn Salsa, but I love the social element of it as well. The best dance group I've joined!
Marni MacLeod: Great studio to learn all kinds of new dance styles. Taking a Salsa refresher right now and the instructors are great, the people are welcoming and over all it's been a wonderful experience.
Anton Lobashkov: Nina is a great teacher!
Rolando Hernandez: Nice space, central and easy to park.
Arturo Luna: If you like to Dance this is the right place.
Bill Cheung: Nice to see so many new dancers and many coming to dance Salsa and Bachata.
Francisco Mauro: Nice place to dance and meet new people
Linda C: Wonderful studio to learn dancing.

JC Dance Co: what do users think?
Janet Lee: Joel's teaching skills were exceptional. Despite our initial wedding dance jitters, he effortlessly guided us through various dance moves and boosted our confidence on the dance floor! Every session with him was a delightful blend of laughter and enjoyment. :D We truly appreciate Joel's wonderful personality and professionalism. Additionally, Joel's flexibility in offering online classes made it a great option for us as we live on the island. Thank you, Joel!
Rod Vafaei: We took intro to ballroom lessons with Joel years ago and he was such a positive influence in our lives that we immediately came back to him for our wedding dance lessons. Joel is a detailed and professional coach and really tailors his lessons to your needs. But more important than anything else, he is an kind and caring soul who goes out of his way to make your experience perfect. I could not possible recommend JC Dance Co more for all of your ballroom/wedding lesson needs. It's always a blast with them!
nolan Ashworth: Extremely beginner friendly and supportive environment. I'd never danced before joining the beginner group class and thought it might be weird going as a single guy but it was very easy to start learning and loving it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to gain this beautiful skill.
Jessica Edwards: Joel was an incredible dance teacher, and we were so fortunate to have the opportunity to work with him. From our very first lesson, we knew we were in good hands. Joel was warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of dance.Throughout our lessons, Joel was always patient and encouraging! He was able to break down even the most complex dance moves into easy-to-follow steps, and he always went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and confident with the dance we were learning. As we look back on our wedding day, we are so grateful for the time we spent with Joel. Our first dance was an unforgettable moment that we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and we owe that experience to his incredible teaching and guidance. Highly recommend JC Dance Co!!Photo by Beige Weddings
Ellie Rafiei: Clara is the best!My husband and I started her classes to learn basic couple dance skills and it worked magically! We have a great time in the class and enjoy spending time with Clara so much! Highly recommended for couples who wish to dance with ease and confidence and want to enjoy and have a lot of fun at the same time!
Sarah Wong: We decided last minute to have a first dance at our wedding and we do not have any prior dancing experience. We had a great experience learning with JC Dance Co! We definitely feel prepared now!
John Belshaw: I wasn't dreading dance lessons, but I did not have high hopes. This was going to be a box to tick in a column of things a grown up ought to do at least once. I've no interest in starring on an episode of 'Come Dancing!' nor was I under pressure from my wife to do this either. What a great and pleasant surprise. Joel is a master teacher. We made unexpectedly rapid progress and had a great deal of fun doing so. I heartily recommend JC Dance Co to anyone who wants to venture into dance.
Devin Clarke: Took the beginner ballroom dance class. It was an amazing 12 weeks. The husband and wife team that is JC dance are so fun, kind and make it a casual atmosphere to learn to dance. They have amazing and positive attitudes. Thank you!
Hannah Rankin: I cannot recommend JC Dance Co more! If you are considering trying ballroom, do it here. I have some former dance training, but my husband did not. We did the 12-week beginner ballroom class. Teacher Joel breaks everything down in an easy to understand way for all levels. We laughed our way through every class. It was a fun date night each week, and we got to get in some exercise while at it! It is a great way to dip your toe into the world of dance as it is such a supportive environment. If you don't have a partner, there were plenty of leads and follows to dance with, so that truly isn't an issue. Take the plunge :)
Ella McEwen: We are SO glad we chose JC Dance Co to get us comfortable dancing for our wedding. We had 4 1hr lessons in Vancouver where we danced and learned different moves and it made us feel super comfortable and confident leading up to our wedding dance! We did a trial at a different place but they wanted to do many lessons teaching us a full variety of ballroom steps, all felt way too formal and structured for our wedding. In contrast, JC Dance Co taught us a simple step that felt natural and relaxed, and then taught us fun spins, lifts, and dips that we could throw in and showed us how to structure our dance (like a loose routine). Clara worked with us and she was so fun, friendly, and always smiling. One of the most fun parts of our reception was when we did a spontaneous "last dance" at the end of the night and with everything Clara taught us it was so easy and fun to make it up as we went! Learning to dance together is something we can now take with us, build on, and enjoy throughout the rest of our lives. Can't thank you enough and so glad we invested in this :)
Amy KTH: We found JC Dance Co. and had the best possible first dance lesson experience. Joel is an amazing teacher with helpful guidance that got me and my non-dancing partner dancing together within minutes. My partner, Patrick and I were looking to take partner dancing lessons but I come from a partner and solo/choreo background and he has zero dance experience. Joel's step-by-step dance instruction got Patrick dancing and leading quickly.Joel is positive and encouraging, giving specific direction and tips that we could incorporate right away and be successful. We had so much fun and we're thrilled that we can now dance together. We have some building blocks and look forward to our next lesson!Highly recommend Joel for any couple that comes to dance with all levels of dance experience.
Anthony Cusano: My girlfriend and I took a private introductory class with Clara to learn a new hobby and prepare for some upcoming weddings. It was a wonderful experience! So much fun and the lesson was easy to follow despite us having little to no prior experience. I would highly recommend booking a lesson to anyone that is interested in learning to dance as a couple.
Becca Prince: Amazing dance school with amazing instructors! They break it down so well in fun and easy to understand steps and before you know it you’re actually dancing an entire routine, or freelancing on your own! I saw people dancing the waltz, got inspired, signed up, and now I CAN DANCE THE WALTZ! If this is a dream if yours, don’t wait, you WILL be dancing ballroom in no time!Bonus: They dance so beautifully themselves, it’s so inspiring to watch if you catch it.
Jason Cho: My wife and I completed JC Dance Co's wedding first dance package 2 weeks ago and we debuted the dance at our wedding just last week!I was a bit nervous at first, but Clara's fun and easy-going approach to dance made me feel extremely comfortable; I can honestly say that we LOVED the lessons! Every class was so much fun! We're also REALY glad that we followed Clara's suggestion to not choreograph the dance, but rather to learn the basic moves to their "natural dancing" approach. This made our first dance feel so genuine and we were able to be in-the-moment rather than trying to remember our steps! The TRUE BEAUTY of JC's natural dancing approach is now, I can turn on the music and dance with my wife whenever we want!Any couples wanting to enjoy dancing with their partner should definitely learn JC Dance Co's natural dancing!
Jessica Johnson: Leading up to my wedding, I was most nervous about my first dance... but JC Dance came to save the day (and my nerves). We selected the four session package, which gave us the skills we needed to have some fun during our first dance (while looking good!)
Natanya Russek: We had such a fun time learning to dance for our wedding! We are very novice dancers, and Clara made the experience so fun and was a kind and patient teacher. We would very highly recommend JC dance!
Jessica Chow: The absolute best dancing teacher ever! Joel helped us with preparing for our first dance for the wedding and it was the best decision ever. He was able to teach us the basics but also took our dance to another level to give the wow factor. No one would have ever guessed that we were absolute beginners with no dancing experience. Totally worth taking lessons. Joel is super friendly, encouraging and he makes the classes super fun and easy. Will recommend him to all of my friends and family! Thank you so much Joel! 🙂
Emma V: My husband and I were looking to do a “non-traditional” first dance where we wanted to do a slow and then fast dance shortly into it. Joel was super patient with us and catered to our unique first dance perfectly, adjusting the moves for both the slow and fast parts of the song. He was super encouraging and just plain fun to be around, always with a smile on his face! Our guests loved the moves and were so impressed. Thank you so much Joel!!!
Chloe Bernardino: Our first dance which went super smoothly! We received many compliments about how amazing our first dance was!Clara taught us well, Jon and I had a lot of fun learning new dance moves, we really enjoyed her classes leading up the our wedding!Thank you once again Clara!Jon & Chloe
Carlo Thirtytwo: JC Dance Co was recommended to us by a friend in preparation for our wedding day. Neither of us had much experience with formal dancing and so we were a bit hesitant. Clara, the instructor, was great - she made us feel comfortable and taught us the basic, fundamental techniques that not only would serve us well during our wedding day, but simply anytime we hear music! She did this all in the setting of her own home over the course of three lessons. They were very costly, but we felt they were worth it.We would recommend JC Dance Co for anyone looking to pick up a fundamental understanding of rhythm and movement, and of course, those who are preparing for a wedding day dance.
Nicole Zorkin: We had the absolute pleasure of having Joel coach my new husband and I for a dance lesson prior to our wedding. In 2, 45 minute lessons, he not only gave us confidence and a handful of moves to work with our song, he gave us the perfect advice for our big moment and it was an absolute hit! The short lessons went a very long way and we would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. We will be going back for more lessons to continue the fun for the future. THANK YOU Joel!!

GOLFTEC Vancouver Terminal Avenue: what do users think?
Joshua Cherry: When I first stepped into Golftec I had a rough idea how to swing a club. I could, occasionally, make the ball go straight and to where I wanted it to land. After just a few sessions with Norman he was able to dial in why I was making as many mishits as I was, provided drills I can do at the range, and was just an amazingly positive coach.Without question, if you are looking to take that first step to beating your buddies on the course, this is the place to do it. Zero regrets.
Adnan Siddiqui: Just okay: overall, relatively disappointed with the experience.Bought a 10 lesson pack + practice time + club fitting. The coach was very nice and well intentioned - clearly he wants his students to succeed. At first, I was very optimistic about the use of video to methodically fix my swing. However, I found the lessons to be random, with drills and swing aids used somewhat haphazardly vs. building a foundation from start to finish. There was a wall of “technical” information thrown at me, to the point where I couldn’t function on the course because I was trying to think about too many unnatural things at once. Also, the comparisons to Tour players are interesting, but I don’t have the talent or physical abilities of Morikawa, Woods, or Johnson, and I feel that it would have been more helpful to work within my body’s parameters. The 3-month time limit on the lesson pack also meant that they were too frequent for me to have enough time to try to dial in one change before thinking about something else.Lastly, the driver fitting was not as helpful as previous fittings I have had. Much of the fitting was spent with shaft types and weights not suitable for me and I wasn’t able to ascertain enough relevant info to help make a decision before time ran out. The technology used is not quite as advanced as a Trackman but totally fine for an average golfer to get fitted.Overall, it didn’t work for me but may work for others. I should mention that I now have an online repository of lessons and tips that I’m sure I will find useful over the summer as I work to improve on my own at a slower pace.
Jovan Vuksic: I bought a lesson pack and worked with Norman Baufield, well worth it! I improved so much over one winter and I'm enjoying golf far more as a result. Also did a club fitting, and purchased clubs, and I would say there was no pressure, just a desire to get the right clubs in my hands. Would highly recommend.
Keith Allan: I have been working with Norm at GolfTEC Terminal Avenue for a few years now and the experience has been tremendous. Instead of overcomplicating things he has a way of breaking down the key fundamentals of the swing and emphasizing what you are doing well but also areas where there could be improvement. His positive attitude allows you to gain confidence in the fact you are making improvement and on your way to where you want to be if you put in the time and make the commitment. All of the instructors at Terminal Avenue are great and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve their golf game.
Alexander Morris: Did a wedge fitting here, it was just fine, nothing to complain about. Place needs a refurbishment though. Old technology, tired looking and isn't comparable to other fitting studios.
Alex Hung: Cookie la O' has been instrumental in helping me go from 100+ to my most recent round of 74 in 16 holes (Riverway had some slooooooow golfers). It wasn't easy though. I spent many hours on the simulator trying to implement the changes Cookie outlined for me and watched and rewatched the video breakdowns from Cookie repeatedly trying to understand in detail the causes and fixes for my issues (slices, chunks, thins, etc.). Before I met Cookie at Golftec, I tried to learn how to swing watching online videos and going to the range but I got frustrated with my progress, or lack thereof. Having a coach be able to instantly assess the problem and implement drills to fix the issue is invaluable and a massive time saver. It also inspired confidence knowing that I was getting instruction from someone who played on the Asian tour. I got to see how good he is first hand during our on course session. If you're looking for an instructor who can identify your swing faults, provide drills to fix your issues and YOU ARE WILLING to put in the work to fix your swing, Cookie at Golftec is the guy for you.
Wilfred Ly: Coach is a nice guy. Just didn't really provide adequate feedback and explanations for what he was trying to achieve. Don't waste your time or money. Better off finding a good CPA elsewhere.
Urbanfella: I not sure who, what or how they teach at this place but so far they destroyed my best friends golf swing seeing what they have done with him wouldn’t go near the place.
Lindsey Dru: I gifted my Dad Titleist fitting, clubs and bag for his birthday. We had to call numerous times to schedule. They ran us around to 2 stores to find the right person. They scheduled the fitting for a day they were out of office, without telling us, so he arrived to a locked store. They wouldn't return calls or emails to place the order. It was like pulling teeth to get service or response. Our $4000+ of business went elsewhere.
Otilija Klimaite: I read reviews (one in particular) and I can’t stop laughing. 😂Golf isn’t a game where you go for a ten lessons and have your swing changed… You need to go to the driving range after each session for many many many times. This sport requires so much dedication, hours and hours of hard sweaty practice. And best part is… You can’t buy it!
Sawyer Redpath: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismMiles has been a joy to learn from and work with. My score is lower, I know my tendencies, I know what to work on and I have gained a lot of consistency. Miles is a very friendly guy who knows his stuff and knows how to break instruction down to make it understandable. A true professional. Golf is more fun than ever now.
Martin Lusk: Critical:ValueAfter 10 lessons my golf swing was completely gone. I was feeling really good about my game and was looking far a little fine tuning but instead my game was devastated.
Jeremy Wilson: Positive:Professionalism,ValueWent into golf tec for a club fitting today. Loved the service by Matthew. He really took the time to make sure that I was going to get the right set of clubs for my game. He also was able to provide some pointers on my swing which was a plus. 10/10 would recommend their service. May have to even book some lessons.
Carson Sedun: First class golf analysis facility. Countless shafts and clubs to choose from. Equipment is all high end. Overall a good experience and would go back again. Tyler let me hit a LOT of balls into the net and I even came back a second time. Downside is that they do not let you take the clubs to a driving range.... Otherwise would recommend checking it out - the #'s don't lie and you can learn a lot from a 1-hour session. Definitely worth the $100 to help mitigate the risks of your golf game!
Lawrence Chan: An excellent center to learn and refine your golf game. Tremendous coaches, I was lucky enough to work with Kyle and Nicasio.
matt morris: Getting back into golf this year has been a very challenging and humbling experience. I soon realized after repeatedly whacking balls at the range that my randomized shot patterns meant I needed some much needed professional help.I was referred to Norman B. through an acuiainence at my gym and went in to check out what Golftec was all about.I was very impressed with the camera technology for swing analysis and the ball flight simulator. Although you’re only hitting into a net, being able to watch and anylize your swing allows you to learn the fundamental and basic essentials for a good consistent golf swing.Throughout the season I’ve been able to take 9-10 strokes off my handicap and my swing instead of feeling jarring and pushed now feels effortless. I’m not fatigued after and during rounds which is making things exponentially better.Thank you Norman for the education and support. I will definitely be back next year making things even better.
Geoffrey Saunders: Very POOR traveled across city to find shop closed but nothing on website informing you of this fact 👎🏼
Billy Pun: Instructor doesn't even know what's hmt. It's funny that it's called golf "tec" Anyways, maybe it's time to get a projector for students instead of hitting into a net.
Dianna Morley: James at Golftec has done an amazing job of helping me to adopt a more efficient, structured, and effortless golf swing. With the video footage and motion measurement technology as training tools, James helped me to break down my swing into sections and relearn each piece of the puzzle. It gave me the ability to be more conscious of my body's movements throughout the swing and be able to repeat the correct positioning more accurately. This consistency has compounded new muscle memory patterns and timing into the makings of a great golf swing. Thank you James and Golftec!
Triathlon Training: Golftec is the way to go if you want to improve your golf game. I have taken many private lessons from other instructors but nothing compares to Golftec. When the student can see on the video in slow motion what they are doing and compare with the correct technique, that is huge. You get instant feedback so you can practice effectively. There is no point practicing wrong technique because you will just groove the wrong swing. My instructor James Heath, teaches me one new thing each lesson and over a series of lessons, the improvement is beyond my expectations. This series of small steps is critical because if he taught me multiple things all at once, it would just overwhelm me. I highly recommend Golftec and James Heath and I have referred my friends and family. Jimmy C.
Michael Macpherson: I started with Golftec several months ago after becoming very frustrated with my golf game. Golftec does not advocate "quick fixes" for your game, rather a long term approach that builds your swing from the ground up. If you are looking for genuine improvements ,and are willing to work at it, Golftec is for you. Along with your lesson package you have access to weekly practice time in Golftec's camera bays. During the practice sessions you can work towards making the changes your coach has suggested (and you can actually see what each swing looks like on the two slo mo cameras) . My personal coach at Golftec has been James Heath. James has been wonderful, has shown a real interest in me and my game and is a real pleasure to work with. Under James' guidance my game has gone from total frustration and disarray to solid play with a plan in place for continued improvement.

Michael and Amy WCS Dance Classes: what do users think?
Petra Menz: Amy and Michael have build up a lovely community of dancers that welcomes beginners at all levels. Moreover, the instructors don't just break down dance moves, they really expose the essentials employed in WCS to become a more versatile dancer. What I love best is that more seasoned dancers participate in the beginner classes, which dramatically helps improve ones dancing and increases the fun factor.
Chris Mul: I've been learning West Coast Swing with Michael and Amy for over a year now and have loved every minute of it. They work will with all skill levels and make the classes fun. I'll continue taking more classes with them and improving my dancing.Just an update on this. I’ve take a couple refresher classes with Michael and Amy and they’ve helped me refine my dancing helping to take me to the next level of my dance. If you’re wishing to be able to get out and just dance, their classes are the ones to take. I go dancing fairly regularly now and always have such a great time!
Ash Outadi: I've always been afraid to take dance classes but from my very first dance lesson with Michael and Amy I felt at ease and could concentrate learning. They do a great job teaching by keeping classes lighthearted, entertaining but challenging at the same time.Lastly, their pricing is really reasonable and you get significant discounts when you take repeated classes, which means you will generally see the same people in classes which really helps foster a sense of community.I would highly recommend their classes to other beginners who want to learn WCS.
April O'Dwyer: Phenomenal instructors! Clear and friendly. As an absolute beginner to all things dance related, I didn't feel out of place for a moment, even among more skilled dancers. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn West Coast Swing. Bonus points for being queer friendly!
Iva Kestřánková: Amy and Michael are great professionals, skilled dance instructors and incredibly patient and friendly people. Their lessons are very relaxing and the way of "teaching" is easy to follow. They make you feel like a part of west coast swing community even if you just started with dancing. I always had a great time and looked forward to another lesson.
Via Rails: Michael and Amy are great teachers, I always leave with a smile on my face after their class :D
Helen Jiang: I have been taking dancing classes here and there, but I love Michael and Amy classes the most. They are the instructors who love the dance, most importantly they really know how to teach. It must be that they are teaching with their heart, they want their students to have fun & succeed with whatever their goals are within it. I will definitely sign up again!
Miss Desiree Z: I love these classes. They are fun, interesting & affordable. Taught by instructors who love the dance & want to see you have fun & succeed with whatever your goals are within it. I will definitely sign up again!
Hugh: I had a great time in their classes. They teach in a way that you pick it up fairly quickly, and it's always fun!
Justin Veuthey: I usually feel super stressed by these kinds of dance classes, but Amy and Michael are super supportive and very clear in their instructions. I'll be going back for more!
R S: My husband and I joined Michael & Amy's WCS classes in Burnaby about 8 years ago. Initially my husband was reluctant, but in a few classes he learned enough WCS moves that he could lead with confidence and we actually enjoyed dancing. After a residential move, we tried swing dance classes elsewhere, but we missed Michael & Amy's competent, consistent yet fun teaching approach. So we were delighted to recently rejoin a class at the D2 Studio in Vancouver. Michael & Amy are amazing teachers and wonderful dancers!
Vuk Simic: Fun and great place to learn to dance. Michael and Amy are both very helpful and nice.
Ella Young: Easy going atmosphere where you can be sure to learn and grow to achieve3 your dance goals
Linda Barker: Fun atmosphere that also focuses on technique, connection, and musicality. Both Michael and Amy offer tons of individual feedback that is super helpful and positive. Each class builds on content and improvement can be felt in just a few classes. Check it out if you want to learn WCS and have fun!!
Nela Subrt: Michael and Amy are very friendly, great dancers and amazing instructors. If you want to have fun and learn wcs efficiently, this is the place to go.
Jennifer Ng: Michael and Amy create such a fun energy and positive learning environment in their classes. They are so welcoming and really make me feel right at ease as a newbie. They also teach a variety of levels, so no matter what experience you have, there’s always something to learn. Michael and Amy are prime examples of why I love the West Coast Swing community so much.. they love the dance, and they go out there to show people a good time and make them love it as much as they do. Highly recommended!! :)
Ariadna Martinez: Michael and Amy are amazing instructors, if you are thinking of taking the plunge into dancing and are scared you might be overwhelmed, their intro class is the perfect place for you. If you already are comfortable dancing, then you’ll enjoy the amazing atmosphere of their classes and learn the wonderful world of West Coast swing with them. Keep up the good work guys!
Darren Pereira: Fantastic teachers who will inspire you to love west coast swing!
Betty Gene McCallum: I really enjoy taking lessons from Michael & Amy. The atmosphere is fun and they are very good teachers. There is lots of focus on the individual and what we want to perfect.
Kara McClure: Michael and Amy are incredible instructors! Having no previous dance background, they really made an effort to make me (and everyone) feel comfortable in the studio. They really focus on the fundamentals of West Coast Swing, which I have found out after several months of lessons, is so important to this style of dance. Each class is different, which makes it fun and interesting each week. They keep you engaged and excited to come back each week to learn more. They are also involved in the WCS dance community, so they are always informing the students about local social dance events and opportunities for us to further our learning and have some fun while doing it! I highly recommend taking lessons from Michael and Amy.
Max Read: I just started dance classes with Michael and Amy, and I'm loving it! Their approach to teaching is perfect - they make it friendly and relaxed, but at the same time their instructions are clear and easy to follow. I can tell that they're seeing every detail of what we do that can be improved, and wisely choose just a couple of things to focus on so that we don't get overwhelmed but still have concrete proof of how much we're improving. They're both very good teachers, and I look forward to my class every week. They've even inspired me to practice at home!
