HUB Cycling: what do users think?
patrick harris: Staff are great
Jellybean: Raymond Jamieson, in a below review, says that people on bicycles need to pay insurance for the right to use roads, but bicycles have killed way, way, WAY fewer people than people in vehicles have. Insurance is based on the danger of the vehicle, not the use of roads and their infrastructure, which people on bicycles have a right to use: they pay the same taxes as people who drive do. Arguably, if the amount of taxes that people on bicycles and in vehicles pay for road maintenance and infrastructure is therefore the same, bicycles should have much more say in what happens to that infrastructure. The currently VERY disproportionate, car-dependent rhetoric has most of that power and it's time for that to change (look at the Netherlands, car-dependent in the 70s and 80s but they were dragged kicking and screaming into an incredibly bike-friendly present). Anyways, I appreciate the existence of this organization and look forward to contributing.
Jon Ben: HUB does great things for everyone in this city. A bikable city is a livable city.
Raymond Jamieson: Cycling is great in the right places...just not on roads that insured vehicles use..if a vehicle operated on roads is not insured there are consequences for the operator...share the road and expenses...only fair dont you think...make cyclists pay for insurance to use roads built for cars
Jeremy Douglas: Amazing organization doing important work to get more people cycling instead of driving
Meenakshi Mannoe: I took a bike safety course with HUB and it made me feel confident as a city cyclist. My bike and I are rarely apart now. I believe in the work that they do and i think cycling is a vital part of sustainable and responsible urban infrastructure. It's also way more pleasant than lining up for the bus on Monday (or any) morning!
Mike: One of the great parts of being in a city like Vancouver is organizations like HUB. They do amazing work and are amazing people.
Koji Sato: Delightful to deal with staff and volunteers, improving the experience for Bikers in the lower mainland.

Pedalheads Bike, Swim, & Sport Programs for Kids: what do users think?
Yoni Levy: The program was great, well organized, and fun. The instructors kept the kids engaged and focused, and so their swimming skills have improved. I can confidently recommend the Pedalheads swim program.
Kimberly Crow: Inconsistent experience. The first time my son did pedalheads swim lessons the instructor was great, unfortunately this time the instructor seemed to really struggle with both the skills themselves and instructing the children. Unfortunately, his last lesson was also canceled (not pedalheads fault), but it’s a lot of money to pay for one fewer lesson than you expect.
Alexa K: Love pedalheads’ swim classes at BSS. Nice small classes and I like that it’s 60 mins instead of 30. Our instructor this session, Kael, was especially fantastic.
Chelsea Smith: We are huge fans of Pedalheads Swim in our house! The programs are fantastic, the staff are a dream, and the progress that my kids have made in a single set has been incredible!
Mona: Very good experience with Pedalheads so far. We have been with Pedalheads biking, now doing swimming with them. Both satisfactory. A big thanks to supervisor Kevin and Britt for helping me getting some documentation from last swim level at the last minute . They were both so willing to help and see what they can do to work it out with you. My son's swimming teacher Farid is also a good and dedicated swimming teacher. Thank you!
Ridhi Kumar: I am giving it a 3 mainly because of swim lessons not bike camps. Honestly I believe Bike camps is the best with Pedalheads. Great instructors and very structured. With swim lessons it's a hit or a miss. They try to squeeze in 4-5 kids with one swim instructor & don't follow the age protocol. We registered our kid for 5 and up however he ended up with 3-4 years age group which is not cool. At least the parents should be informed about this and then we can make a decision. As is it's expensive to register for these camps and if you get the wrong age group then you are stuck. My kid was almost level 2 but somehow when you place a kid in a younger group which is play based then of course he will be follow that direction. Just double check the age group that you registered for and the age group you get when you have your first lesson.
Gurleen A: My son is now comfortable in the water and the teachers have been great and patient!
Fl00fy Kittens: Had heard amazing things about Pedalheads. I normally don't post reviews but we enrolled our kids last summer with a few friends for the first time and we had an absolutely terrible experience with one instructor in particular (went by the name Elodie). We were at the Jericho location and will NOT be returning for classes this year if she is "coaching" again. She was rude, condescending, and was not nice with the kids when she didn't think anyone else was watching. Our other kids had a better time with another instructor.
Patrick Collins: Pedalheads camp was amazing! Our four year old daughter was able to learn how to ride a bike without training wheels in only one week. She loves camp, and can’t wait to attend another one soon.
Sidonie freeman: We loved Pedalheads so much!
Kathryn Lucas: My daughter was in the Newbies group for her 5-day Spring Break camp. She’s 4. Her bike had training wheels Monday. When I picked her up Tuesday, the training wheels were off, and they’ve been off since. But after the remainder of her week at camp, she is utterly unable to ride without them, and now doesn’t want to ride her bike (when before, she was always wanting to go out riding). Now I have no idea what to do. Do I leave the training wheels off? Have her go back to her strider bike for a while? Put the training wheels back on, so she wants to ride again? I feel like I should’ve been given some advice in her report card, but it was just a long list of things she cannot do.Also, and this really made me angry, I had no idea there was a Bike Parade that parents could attend the last 20 minutes of Friday’s class. Why was this information provided in an email Thursday afternoon (less than 24 hours’ notice) and not when the camp information email went out the week before camp started? I cannot constantly check my email, especially when I’m spending 21 hours a day with a 4-year-old. When I arrived at pick-up time, nearly all the kids had gone home already (I guess the Bike Parade ended early?) and my daughter was the last kid there. She was hanging out with the instructors under the admin tent. I had no idea what was going on until I got home later and saw the email from Thursday. I felt terrible for her, that her mom wasn’t there for the parade. So I really don’t have a great impression of Pedalheads’ bike program after this experience — which is disappointing, because I came in with an expectation that this would be as great as the swim program has been for my daughter. I certainly thought that 15 hours of instruction over 5 days would at least get her to the point of being able to ride wobbly on her own for a few pedals. But I don’t think she improved at all, and her enthusiasm for biking took a big hit.
Julie Falk: Always a great experience and our kiddos progress immensely in such a short time.
Bryony Harvey: Thank you Pedalheads North Vancouver Brockton Elementary venue , my son had the best time learning a pedal bike. He picked it up incredibly fast and was engaged the full time. The instructors were so patient and supportive - what a great team! Big thank you to Ahoura and Rich
farisha rache: Amazing instructors at our lady of mercy school! They’re all patient caring and absolutely amazing at making the kiddos feel at ease when they feel nervous. My daughter has separation anxiety and the instructors were phenomenal with making her feel safe and excited to be there. And they got her off training wheels after one day!!
Theresa Singh: Amazing bike camp! Well run and the instructors are so patient! Both my boys loved it! My youngest son had training wheels off in 30mins! And my oldest son learned crucial bike safety skills for road riding! They LOVED IT! Thank you so much! 💖
Alina Soldatova: Good swimming lessons and friendly staff. You really cas see the progress!
Виктория Шадуро: waste of time and money, not organized, swimming skills after 9 months of my 5 years child - 0
Tiago Lage, CFA, MBA: No hot water in the showers for several weeks. Old and worn out facilities. Swimming pool with cold water. Terrible value for money. Only big plus, the staff.
li liu: Instructors are nice and experienced.
chloe cheng: My son had swim classes at the Jericho Hill Pedalheads with Nadia and Aliya. They are both absolutely fantastic! They were super positive and encouraging, maintained their cool when dealing with very energetic 4 year olds and made classes super fun. I highly highly recommend them and am grateful for such amazing teachers!
Lixing Stella Wang: The register level is totally different with the actual level that my kids should be, but the coatch just teached as the registered level which is high 2 level than the real level.I don't know how the coatch teach it and no one noticed it. All the pedalheads system or administration is really bad.

Ozmosis Training: what do users think?
Surfing Moose: I've had a couple of private training sessions with Jaclyn and my mountain bike riding has improved significantly. She is very knowledgeable and patient. I look forward to more training sessions with her. I recommend her if you'd like to improve your riding skills.
Melissa Nadeau: Booked the drop clinic after it being recommended by a friend. This was well worth the time and price. Jaclyn is a great coach, and uses an effective stepwise approach from teaching the technique/theory, demonstrating, and having us apply/practice the new skills. Perfect day with a start at the skills park, then transition to the trails, with again, perfect amount of time on stopping to look at the trail drops, observing the demos and then doing it a few times. All done with excellent feedback, putting you in confidence and pushing you, yet not throwing you WAY over your comfort zone.. just a little bit over :) Awesome day and coach!
Maisie Harrison: Booked the drop clinic after a strong recommend from a fellow Mudbunny. Made so much progress in one evening at the Burnaby skills park. Jaclyn is a highly experienced and friendly coach with a great attitude to biking and life!
Sarah Rose: I was recommended the drops clinic by a friend and I'm so happy I booked in sooner than later. Great progression over the day and it was awesome to view videos over the day to help improve technique.
Tania Gripper: Super fun and effective training by Jaclyn had us dropping in no time! Definitely recommend checking out one of her rad courses.
Dr. Katie Coombs, ND: Jaclyn is an amazing instructor! I have never felt so confident and improved my skills so much in such a short period of time as I have in her drop clinics.
Allison Cano: Jaclyn is a fantastic coach! Her explanations really help to understand what you're actually supposed to do on the bike, and her coaching style encouraged me to push my own boundaries on features that on my own or with friends I wouldn't have attempted. She is an exceptionally talented coach, but more than that is genuinely stoked to see everyone progress, and her excitement and love of biking is completely infectious. One of the best days I've had on a bike in months :D
lucie sedlackova: An amazing clinic with an awesome instructor!!! Jaclyn’s teaching is great and the progress is far beyond what I expected from the day! Would recommend to anyone, even if you’ve been riding for a small amount of time!
Kassia O'Connor: I had the best time at the Drop it like it's Hot clinic - Jaclyn is an incredible coach and it was a really fun session. The intimate and small group made for a really progressive session. I can't wait to do another session!
Abiygayil van der Westhuizen: A friend and I attended Jaclyn's drop clinic, it was a load of fun, awesome coaching! And you'd be surprised what you can achieve in a day! I would highly recommend it to all!
Emmanuelle Belanger: I loved how this course is for any level of skills and everyone will take something out of it. Jaclyn is straight to the point, deals very well with the mental aspect of it and knows how to assess her group. Very talented coach. Thank you so much!
Troy Tyler: I was totally blown away with the progress I made with this course in just one day. When I showed up at the skills park in the morning I looked at the features in the park and thought there is no way I'd ever even try half of them. Jaclyn moved us through the progression of drop sizes so smoothly that within hours I was dropping off the larger drops. Then when you head to the mountain and put the skills to use it makes MTB 100x more fun. I 100% recommended this class!
Kyla McGillis: I went to Jaclyn's "Drop It Like It's Hot" evening clinic and it was AWESOME! I actually got air - so cool! Jacyln was able to break things down very easily and simplify what can seem to be daunting or impossible skills. She is very encouraging & instills a lot of confidence. Highly recommend! Thank you!
Chad: What a great time, and learned far more than just drops. Jaclyn was a great teacher and never hesitated to share her knowledge on anything you might have questions about. I came into this with no serious trail riding experience and came out with enough confidence to tackle some super fun trails!
ariane tisseur: I did Jaclyn's drop clinic and was highly impressed by her coaching. She breaks everything down for students, explaining why we do things the way we do. Her direct feedback as we practiced and progressed made it easy to correct things and improve rapidly. She is very encouraging and supportive.I went to the clinic with a fear of having my wheels leave the ground and I left able to do a 3 foot drop with confidence and skill.
Kelsey Koonts: I have taken a few clinics with Jaclyn and she is a fantastic coach! She brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to anything she teaches and is such a talented mountain biker. Her way of coaching is fun and supportive and she is always encouraging, challenging you to do your best without making you feel like you have to ride if you aren't ready. If you want to try it, she is always supportive but also patient and understanding if something just isn't in your comfort zone.I would highly recommend Jaclyn if you want to up your mountain biking game and dial in your skills.
A Dressing Needs: Great thorough bike clinic. Trainer adjusted to and aided a variety of levels of riding skills and made it fun and beneficial fo everyone in group. Excited for the next one
Laura Hennig: Jaclyn was so great! Fun and educational. I am new to riding and I learnt so much on my first session. Great time. Looking forward to the next one!
Fiona Stevenson: fab! patient, good fun and super encouraging! great clinic!

Pedalheads Swim l Swim Lessons for Kids Vancouver: what do users think?
L L: 50% of time they put the kid on life jacket and doesn't let them move on to the next level...didn't do much in the lesson wasted time and money
Jeff Seto: We’ve been extremely happy with our son’s development in the Pedalheads program. The one hour sessions, the ease to find parking and the enthusiastic instructor has made it a joy for my son and the parents! Keep it up!!
Tony Danza: we have been w pedal heads about close to 3 years now. The team has been very professional and most important of all they know how to make it enjoyable for my kids.
Maggie Lui: Love the location! The water is warmer which is good for kids!
Tenley MacNiel: My son has really enjoyed the swim lessons he has taken at Stan Stronge. The pool is big and bright which I really like. The instructors have been excellent and if you have concerns the office is very efficient at calling back and rectifying any issues.
o lau: This location @ Cambie/57th was convenient for me. Large change rooms and neighborhood parking.Teachers were patient and the 1 hr format helps with learning.
Kam Jhalli: We have been coming to Stan Stronge Pool ever since my son was a preemie and we had a group with Infant Development. I was really glad when pedalheads also started providing lessons at this pool. Love the fact that the lessons are an hour long. The teachers are amazing!!
Cameron Clow: Programs here are very well done and instructors are friendly and keep you informed on your child’s progress.
Sally Pau: Excellent location, easy to find parking and not crowded. Love that the classes are one hour long.
scott H: Good place compared to the big colder pools. Smaller, warmer and more intimate that the kids really appreciate.
Hugo Stahelin: Great location, warm water. 100% recommended!!

ProRIDE Motorcycle Training: what do users think?
TGAEK21: Amazing course, would highly recommend for anyone looking to start riding. Instructors are super knowledgeable while having a great sense of humor. You seriously can’t go wrong with this course.
Kevin Acub: The instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable about riding motorcycles. Shutout to Chris, Carol, and Ben for making the course really enjoyable and fun for a first time rider!
eunice but: Best motocycle school to go to!!!! All instructors are detail oriented, patient and encouraging. They go out for ride rain or shine, so you can learn in different road condition. Worth paying for some private classes too to polish my skills and confidence. Thanks ProRide!!
Roger Tremblay: Very helpful and well done training. Staff is very competent. Highly recommended for new and "old" bikers.
Dave J J: I had a great experience here. Instructors are really good. Classroom and practical really good. Definitely every rider should take this course. Website can sometimes be a little tricky but give them a call if you have any troubles, Andrea is great in the phone.
Joe Cosh: Had a great time with this course. Very welcoming to beginners and the instructors were great with both new and experienced riders. Highly recommend!
Tim Gal: Ben, Carol, Christopher and Kevin were amazing. Top notch instructors
Daniel S: The instructors were great, the skills course was a positive experience. Highly recommend
Crabby Ermine: I decided to get licensed to ride a street bike and a friend recommended ProRide as THE place learn how to ride safely and proficiently on a motorcycle.I loved the 2 nights of theoretical training in the class with John BUT the best part was the practical training on the bikes, in the closed off parking lot at CapU.I grew up riding bikes but the class had a mix of all skill levels and I have to applaud the trainers for being so professional and how they made it fun for everyone.I highly recommend this group for training and today I did my pre-icbc-road-test-training and “passed” with flying colours! Thanks again everyone!!! Drive safely!!!
Darcy Farmer: My parter and I took the ProRIDE motorcycle class in July and this week we both passed our road test on the first try! I never rode a motorcycle before and the guys at ProRIDE were so encouraging and great teachers. Now i feel comfortable riding anywhere in any traffic. Thank you for helping this girls dream come true!!
Seth Nair: For beginners and rusty riders alike, ProRIDE is an excellent motorcycle training school to learn riding skills. They call it survival skills. The course begins with a two-day theory class followed by two days of motorcycle riding lessons where students learn both slow and fast riding. You are tested for the ICBC MST on the second day, and if you pass the next day, you are instructed on how to ride in traffic. We had excellent instructors. Their demonstrations and words constantly guided me and others towards correct skills and techniques, always in a kind, calm manner. My sincere thanks go out to Ryan, Mat, Calvin, and Warren for their efforts in helping me become a better rider.
Caroline Liggett: We had an unusual experience which had us withdraw from the first night and ProRIDE did not just empathize with our situation and give us a full refund but they referred us to their competition as it worked better for us. You guys are a class act. My son is licenced and riding hours a day! My eldest is looking at a Fall class and or Spring 2023 and maybe I'll join him!
Omar Al-Allaf: Thank you Matt, Brian for all the efforts that you guys spent teaching us!I passed my road test the first try with no single mistake!I took the Survival rider Off peak, they taught us the theory and the practical tactics to be a safe rider! All the people over there are nice and helpful, sorry, I forgot their names otherwise I would mention everyone personally as all were helpful and nice!Don’t forget to sign for road test support package ( it is included in your survival package) this was a great help to to pass the road test again thanks Matt who was running this road test support!Thank you guys!
Osama Sadeka: Absolutely amazing school and great instructors, the way they teach how to ride motorcycle is the best and the safest.
Ross Galbraith: Loved this course. Instructors are awesome. Had a lot of fun. Covered all the appropriate lessons for riding a motorcycle. I was a complete novice and feel ready to get on my bike and know what I’m doing. Great introduction to riding. Had a really good group of students. Very satisfied with everything at this school. Highly recommend ProRide.
Ross Hopper: I completed my training with ProRIDE in 2015 and was super impressed with the course, the instructors and their delivery of course materials. The practice time with different types of motorcycles was great as well as the practice rides which really helped solidify what you have learned and what to expect for your road test. I feel this course should be mandatory for anyone wanting to get their motorcycle license. I would highly recommend ProRIDE to other people wanting to experience riding motorcycles. The course gave me confidence and taught me to be a safe rider.
Robert Shaw: Awesome experience...Proride took me from zero to hero on a motorbike.
Nelson Dominguez: VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ****If you are thinking to learn and be part of the amazing world of Motorcycle riding, this is part of your investment. If you think you can not afford this course then, you can not afford riding a motorcycle. This guys have created a system that will take you step by step of how to safely ride a motorcycle and pass the tests you need tin order to have your license. I have a fantastic experience with all the instructors; they are a passionate group of people that their priority is 1) Your safety and 2)Passing your test. I complete every step of the course and got my license on my first tried. Have zero problems with them. Thanks to all the team for helping me achieve a dream. Cheers
Jonathan Sales: Great environment to learn how to ride. The instructors are awesome and my confidence definitely went up after doing the course in the rain. The practice for road test was very helpful to get use to the actual road test.
Arnnis_: Great experience at ProRide, The Staff is amazing and very professional also were incredibly respectful and informative and I learned a ton of new techniques., I had some much fun, during 5 days course. Definitely I recommend PRORIDE👌 Keep doing excellent job 👏Cheers Greg
RAJ: The 3 days of riding is awesome, couldn't have learned and worked on skills more. A must do for all riders. Classroom stuff is a bit long, but all and all, Worth every penny and more.

Performance Training Bike Fitting: what do users think?
John S: Very detailed and great insight, little changes go a long way. Thank you
Nimbrad Alicaya: Very professional and knowledgeable
IronVegan RMT: I came to Noa after Kona Ironman World Championships 2022 because I was disappointed with my performance and I knew I could perform better but felt there were some key elements holding me back.I was hit by a car while training in 2016 which left me with some structural and functional issues which resulted in constant left sided low back pain, SI joint pain, underdeveloped left quad, left thoracic pain, rhomboid, levator and upper trap burning pain in TT position, and chronic headaches in aero position, left knee collapsing medially on downstroke. All of the symptoms would increase as the milage and duration increased. I had a few bike fittings previously and felt some relief, weekly Physio, RMT and chiropractic care gave some relief also but there were still underlying issues that I couldn’t figure out even as an RMT myself. After my detailed initial assessment and dynamic analysis Noa was able to isolate some massive functional issues and issues with seat height too low and too far back, crank length too long, hip jammed up and aero bars too short and flat, tri shoes with insufficient support for my high arch and a TT bike that was fitted incorrectly and was too small. I have used Retul for other bikes in the past and this technology paired with Noa’s background, experience and knowledge proved to be a great success. We swapped the crank length for a 165 ( I’m 5’ 9” so that was a leap of faith from 172.5 ) added aero bars with a 35 degree angle to take pressure of the neck and shoulders and open up the chest, and added wide Boa shoes with special high arch insoles to support my unique foot build. Seat height went up and forward and then 2 months later the results speak for themselves! I’m able to ride without pain symptoms ( longest so far 3.5 hours) my left leg that was injured is engaging with my glute properly, the shorter crank length allows for higher cadence and hip release and is more efficient which results in lower HR over 100k, headaches gone, and power has increased at same PE.Noa understood my injuries and what position would work with my body to produce the best results. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and motivated to put everything to the test this year in Kona 2023!
Daisy Zhang: I can’t recommend the service to new cyclists starting out -- Great service for experienced cyclists with fancier bikes, so I have heard. I wanted to get a great bike fit for my first road bike to maximize enjoyment and minimize injury risks, but Noa is inexperienced/uncomfortable working with newbies with cheaper bikes. (Mine is Trek Domane AL5, $3000). It felt like I shouldn’t have been there during the entire bike fit. Not much was explained to me throughout the bike fitting process, my follow-up email about feet pain was never responded to. I could have spent half the fee with a lesser bike fitter to get better experience & waited when I am more experienced and with a proper bike to come here.
Heather L. Johnston: Noa is an outstanding bike fitter and coach. She's been my Go-To for bike setup and and adjustments for years. Recently we worked together to build my dream bike. Noa helped sort through all the options to find the best frame for me. We spec'd out all the components, got it built, and then she fine tuned the setup. It's been just amazing. A great match not only in terms of fit, but also riding style, purpose, and detail. I could not be happier with the results.
jonathan li: 11/10
Anthony Trad: My dynamic cycling analysis gave me answers to all of the issues I have been experiencing on my bike.Noa is knowledgeable, personable, and detail oriented. In addition to getting set up properly on my bike Noa has given me guidance and cues on how I can further improve my overall cycling experience.I am looking forward to my follow up appointment to see how things have progressed with my new bike setup.
Amanda M: Noa has all the best technology to do the most precision bike fit. She's the very best in the Lower Mainland. Super detail focused, she makes sure to take into account all relevant medical history to really get to know you & understand your body. Noa is exceptional at what she does, her expertise in invaluable!
Eunice U: Noa had a solution for all our problems. She is extremely knowledgeable. Our bikes are now setup so that we can ride more efficiently and pain free. She also gave us some pointers on proper biking form. Highly recommend her if you need a bike fit!
Juanita Camargo Nunez: Noa is the best, the bike fit she did was a game change. Highly recommended.
Oleg Ivchenko (Oleg): Best experience ever! Noa is very knowledgeable, careful, considerate and puts every effort to make sure that your fit is perfect. She spends as much time with you as you will need and is happy to answer any question. She is also a ton of fun!🚴
Craig Y: Noa does it again! Another great bike fitting (I mean "dynamic cycling analysis") experience, and another great fit.Noa, as usual was technical and precise, and took the necessary time to ensure my new/used CF bike was properly fit to my body and riding style.Took it out on some "test" runs afterwards and the bike felt amazing!Highly recommend the foot pressure analysis. Really helped me to understand where I was a little off in my foot pressure and what was needed to fix the issues I did not even know I had before.Thank you Noa! Definitely will be seeing you again!
R B: I got my bike fitted here and it was a fantastic experience. I spent months riding my new bike with shoulder pain and back pain, and almost like magic, my pain just went away after Noa properly fitted my bike to my body. If you have any kind of pain or discomfort while riding, do not hesitate to book in and get fitted. You won't regret it.
Rob McCurdy: Noa is a true professional
Mélanie Katcher: New or experienced cyclist— a dynamic cycling analysis is FOR YOU!Performance Training’s dynamic cycling analysis are quite literally life changing. Being quite new to cycling, I was a little intimated by the process at first but I knew that my position on the bike needed some tweaking if I wanted to reach my cycling goals. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Noa by few of my friends. Noa is not only super knowledgable but she is also easy to work with, kind and patient. Noa took the time to explain the whys, the dos and the don’ts in a way that made sense but also in a way that made me feel comfortable and provided me with an abundance of confidence.

If you are serious about cycling or just don’t know where to start— Performance Training is THE ultimate investment you need to make in your cycling journey. It will not only end up saving you tons of money (because you’ll get gear/positioning that is right for you) but most importantly it will prevent any potential injuries!Seriously— BOOK NOW!!!
Leslie Keung: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Danielle Bradley: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI am super impressed with the results of my bike fitting today. Noa was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I would absolutely go back to Noa if I needed another bike fit. It was worth every penny!
Hassan Pardawalla: It was more than I expected. I loved the exploration process, which made me better understand my cycling style and how to position myself for rides. With the changes done by Noa, I felt a huge difference in my performance. Noa was wonderful! She was easy to talk to and different provided a lot of details to certain questions, which just showed her in-depth knowledge in cycling. Would definitely recommend her to others.
Ric Kendall: Positive:Professionalism,QualityAlways thorough and very professional. Would recommend Noa for your bike fitting needs.

Bike Repair Centre: what do users think?
Yawazy Abdullah: Lovely honorable guy, would recommend all my friends to go there very honest and knowledgeable awesome customer service.I wish them many success
Rhett O: Lifetime customer.2023 update after 7 years of originally posting 5 stars: still incredibly impressed with how amazing my bike rides after everytime I come in. My bike is always like new with no complaints and buckets of gratitude.
Lydia Park: I came by the shop several times now, to have my bike tuned-up or fixed and I really don’t go anywhere else for bike repair/service. I don’t have any issues after having the bicycle fixed, price is excellent, and there are really only good things to say about this place.
Doug Greenall: I went to Bike Repair Centre because of the Google reviews and was not disappointed. Replacing a tire and brakes came to a reasonable 200 bucks inc. tax. Pleasant service was delivered within the estimated time frame.Since A-1 on Main Street is gone, this will likely be my go-to for cycle maintenance.
Quyen Tran: Quite surprised with good reviews for this shop but I don’t sense the same. First impression outside the shop looks horrible to me while inside is much better. However, what I felt when being consulted and quoted by the staff was like a cheat, he wanted to offer a package that costs a brand new bike. This shop think you’re a newbie and will try to steal money from you for what they consider their high standards. Their attitude never works for me even though how good their skills can be.
Marc Henry: Brought in my bike to replace worn out brake pads. I was very impressed with the level of service I received. Informative & sincere. I can tell they care about their customers. A great spot for cycle commuters who need more frequent bike maintenance.
LL: I highly recommend John for all of your bike maintenance needs. Not only is he a skilled mechanic with a wealth of experience, he is also honest and efficient. He has worked on my bike several times and has consistently provided top-notch service. Whether you have an entry-level or high-end bike, you can trust John to get the job done right.
Dave Farnell: Got a full tune up a few months ago. Bike feels and handles like it is BRAND NEW. Very happy bike rider!
Michael Cumblidge: Bike Repair Centre is easily one of the best bike shops in the city. My wife and I have taken our bikes here several times and each time the quality of the service and workmanship is incredible. John is honest in his work and upfront about what needs to be done to your bike. As soon as you enter, you know that you are in the hands of a professional who absolutely knows their craft. Also, the prices are reasonable and fair. I will be taking my bike(s) here for years to come.
Gabriel Tran: Lots of bike specific tools for sale!
Milan Nikic: I took my bike here a few times over the last two years and I can't recommend this place enough. Fantastic service, quick turnaround and extremely knowledgeable. Will continue to take my bikes here.
Peter Jackson: Great service, very professional, excellent work.
Google User: I recently replaced the rear tube on my 25-year-old Raleigh mountain bike but somehow wasn't able to reinstall the derailleur properly. Last week I took the bike to Bike Repair Centre to have the derailleur installation fixed. I was told that they'd prefer not to work on cheap bikes like mine. I was further advised to get rid of it and buy a new one instead considering the bike had some parts that were pretty worn. The bike wasn't that bad to begin with in my opinion and more importantly it has great sentimental value to me.The repair estimate of $160 for a $300 bike didn't deter me. The final tab came in 20 dollars below estimate as one part thought broken turned out to be fine. I picked up the bike yesterday and spent one hour today negotiating the hilly, winding trails in my favourite park. At the end of the ride, I concluded that the money was well spent, hence the 5-star rating. The price is very reasonable considering the amount of work involved and current soaring inflation.
Brent Henley: Honest, fast and helpful.
Susana Banks: A friend recommended I take my bike here after I received a “fix” elsewhere that did not last. John reminded me of the best car mechanics, asking first about budget, how and how often I ride, and he delivered a prompt quality repair that has held up. Plus his shop reminds me of a craftsperson’s workshop: a fun visit.
Bryan Michael: Awful service, condescending staff. If I could give zero stars, I would. Their “world famous” tune-up advertised for $100 “doesn’t have options” and isn’t $100.Update: I brought my bike to Sidesaddle where they were more than happy to take my money.
Adam Smith: Soooo condescending. The employee that dealt with me spent the whole time verbally belittling and telling me I need to replace things that definitely don’t need to be replaced. Example: I was missing a spoke, he told me to replace the rim/wheel.Dude, you’re fixing bikes. Your arrogance is severely misplaced.Ended up going to bike doctor, a couple stores over. Way more professional and kind.Edit: Wow, you just told a black software engineer ‘we don’t do ghetto fixes’. That’s seriously inappropriate. I’ll do my best to make sure more people hear about this.I had no issue with replacing the back rim (which didn’t have a gaping hole, the hole for the tube valve was cut). I had an issue with how you spoke to me. BTW you quoted me ~$200 for the repairs, I went to bike doctor and spent over $300. Worth it for the better service.
s. e.: Been here 3 times over the years and will continue to do so. Have only gone for routine bike maintenance but it's because the result and care from these visits allow us to ride our bikes with confidence and for long periods of time between much needed maintenance. John is very thorough, meticulous, and honest with his work - you know what you're going to expect when you drop your bike off - never tries to impose a product or extra work - just gets the job done. It's pretty impressive how much he knows or remembers of your bike without looking much into his records - he knows his work and prides in it. There are many bike shops/repair shops around the neighbourhood and he has predominantly the highest rating and reviews and there is truly a reason why. We highly recommend Bike Repair Centre.
Nicholas Madden: Greatly appreciate the timely manner fix on my flat tire
Kevin Lee: My bike rides better than when it was new after getting it serviced by John. Thank you John!
Paul Michaud: Had tune up, new chain, cassette, shift cable, wheel and other parts, this is the first time that a proper service was done…. I’ve gone to several different shops over the years, without fail they would get the gear indexing wrong and I would have to bring it back often several times.I recommend Bike Repair Centre , they’ll do it right the first time👍

Bicycle Sports Pacific: what do users think?
Adam F: Very friendly staff. Most helpful.Would recommend checking them out.
Alexandre Chabot (Alexandre): Ordered a bottom bracket online for pick up in store, was in stock at an other location and supposed to be ready for pick up few days later. No news for 5 days so I pay a visit and they tell me the other store did not send it, should be ready for pick up the following day. Go back that day and it’s not there, the other store did not send it.Finally received a call saying they now have it and I realize it’s the wrong one, asked for refund. Will go buy my bikes parts somewhere else…
Emin Güven: I just get my new bike Friendly and so professional crew! Specially Stephen helped me a lot he is the best! Thanks for everything BSP.
Fabiene Bittencourt: Bikes and other products are very good but the costumer service is awesome. They really help you in anyway!
Zed-Ola Myers: Impeccable service! My bike is riding like butter. Would recommend. 5 stars
Chloé Bosquin: Poor service, they say they will call you when your order is ready but they do not. You have to follow up three times for things to actually get moving
Wei x: Professional staff. They allow you to use the pump for free.
Mike Fortier: Friendly knowledgeable staff and great service!
Mackenzie Fleming: Friendly, knowledgeable service and great customer care. Stephen really goes above and beyond to look after you and all your cycling needs!
Lis Jang: Store layout makes it easy to find product, good selection of products, friendly staff.
Siobhann Williamson: Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Mathew Milne: Very friendly and knowledgeable, invested in helping you find the right product. Thanks!
cynthia skabar: Great experience buying my ebike at Bicycle Sports Pacific. I was recommended by a friend who works in the industry as well which speaks to their great reputation in the cycling community for so many years. Highly recommend them. I love my bike and got a great deal compared to the other bike shops! Thanks BSP!
Raymond Huynh: Great service. Steven and his team were nice and helpful with their suggestions. Steven helped me with my bike fitting and taught me a lot about bike fitting and other useful tips for riding. 110% recommend someone to visit this store to get biking, tuning a bike and anything bike related :)
Corey Solomon: Impressed with staff like Noah for the time to share knowledge, help me on my next bike investment, and his passion for biking and wanting me to have the best experience with my next bike purchase.
Derek G.: Really good experience this week at BSP. I've always said that although it's a big shop and it's a multi-location business, it has a "small bike shop feel" which I really like. It has a very personal feel thanks to the staff. They are friendly, casual and totally not pushy. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in.I bought my first bike in Vancouver many years ago at BSP on Pacific and Burrard. It was a TREK 7.1 hybrid for around $500 (entry-level bike). It was a great little bike and I took advantage of the free servicing that's included within the first year of purchase. They also threw in some accessories which was great. Got years of use from the bike until I decided to sell it and upgrade.I love hybrids but I always wanted a carbon fiber bike. Problem is that I'm not a fan of road bike ergonomics or drop bars. As such, the Cannondale Quick Carbon One was the answer to my prayers. Buttery smooth ride, fast, agile, nimble, great in traffic and practical enough to have a rack where I could stick a pannier for my work commutes and weekend trips - this was the bike for me! Love the Shimano 105 components too.I was greeted by a very friendly young blonde woman when I first came to the store. Micha then took over and assisted me in setting up a test ride, answering questions etc... I came in later that week. Micha was off that day so I was helped by Sam who closed the deal.Micha and Sam were both great to deal with. Friendly, non-pushy and very knowledgeable. The bike mechanic who put the new accessories on was very nice as well (Darren, I think his name is - Scottish guy, I believe).Really good experience overall. I would happily recommend BSP to anyone and will definitely go back in future when it's time for an upgrade! Thanks for the good experience, guys.Derek
Michael Gardias: S.was helpful and friendly. My inquiries were answered without any 'hard upsell. Bicycle Sports Pacific is a velosport institution in Vancouver for decades now. I will recommend to friends and family. 👍😁
Nil Khosh: Great service, friendly staff. I dropped my bike for a checkup and even though it was a busy time they made sure to have it ready for pickup in time.If you get a chance to talk to Noel ask him about his professional biking experience, it'll somehow both motivate and scare you to bike again.
Taliesin River: Great experience, staff were enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable
S L: I never learned how to bike as a child and trying to learn as an adult. Not easy! I end up buying a pricy training wheel & Bike and went to BSP to install ( And pay the installation fee. ) The shop owner Stephen spent good time for me to explain 'how he taught his elderly mother to learn how to ride a bike without using the training wheels'. He adjusted my bike for me to easily ride, without a fee. I bought my bike & all the accessories in a different store, and didn't buy anything in his store. Stephen was so kind and just encouraged me not to give up on learning! It is extremally rare to receive this type of genuine service when you are not even spending a penny.
Jaycee C.: This was my first visit to this store. I was in the area so I dropped by to pick up a bicycle helmet. The store being in downtown has challenges with parking. Inside the store is clean and well organized. Stephen assisted me with my purchase. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and has good customer service skills. Recommended bike shop if you’re in downtown area.

BC Bike Race: what do users think?
gary livingstone: Race is amazing
Pascal-André Vendittoli: I did the BC Bike Race in 2019 and had a wonderful trip. The organization was excellent. Expecting a similar experience, I booked a mountain bike trip with BC Bike Ride. Unfortunately, on the last day of BC Bike race, I broke my wrist and could not participate in the 2019 Ride Kootenays BC Bike Ride. The trip was fully paid for (5k, not cheap), and the organization agreed to move my credit to a 2020 trip. Until now, they have done a good job. But then the COVID pandemic happened, they decided to cancel all their "Ride" trips in 2020. They offered me to refund 50% of my credit or to keep it for a 2021 trip. I decided to keep it for 2021.Looking at the web site (no trip dates), I understood that the "Ride" trips were also cancelled in 2021 ans 2022. They never informed me of their decision to cancel the trips for the last 2 years and never answered my mails and phone calls. It is important to know that during the last 2 years, they maintained the "race" events. So, COVID could not be an excuse for not running the "Rides".Seeking information and reassurance over the last two years, I wrote mail, called, and posted on their facebook page and they never got back to me. The only two times I got a phone call back, is when I used a different phone number (than mine) and left an anonymous message requesting information on the race event. Using this strategy, last week, John Kearn, from the organization called me back. He knew my booking and reassured me that he would get back to me within less than 24h with a solution. He never called back. I phoned back, texted and mailed again... nothing happened.Three years later, they still have in the bank my 5k credit. Sadly, they do not take the time to maintain a relationship with their clients. Unfortunately, I lost confidence in this organization.
Jay Latiff: World class event.
Charles Koehler: Most AWESOME experience, week long party on your bike..!
dave kelly: Best race of year
Matt Oviatt: Great event, well put together. I work here, so there is bias, but I'm proud to be a part of something amazing.
Sarah Rowland: J j br
KEVIN WOODS: This really is an amazing event, I put it on my bucket list, did it, volunteered the following year and will sign up to do it again in 2019. The BCBR family of organizers, sponsors, volunteers are the very best, and athletes from all over the world get to race in the most beautiful part of the world. FIVE BIG STARS!!!
Michael Jacoby: The best mountain bike race on earth. The greatest singletrack with the most dedicated staff. Put it on the bucket list!
