Vancouver Acting School (VAS): what do users think?
Carolyn Egerszegi: I recently had the pleasure of taking a voice acting class with Sarah Troyer and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! Sarah is a skilled and knowledgeable instructor with years of experience in the industry. Not only was she able to provide us with valuable insights into the world of voice acting, but she also gave us practical exercises and techniques to improve our skills. One thing I appreciated most about the class was the supportive environment. Sarah encouraged everyone to take risks and try new things without fear of judgment. She created a safe space where we felt comfortable experimenting with our voices and exploring distinct characters.Throughout the class, we had the opportunity to work on a variety of scripts and projects. We practiced everything from commercials and animated series to video games and sizzle scripts. The diversity of material allowed us to broaden our range and develop new skills.Another highlight of the class was the personalized feedback we received from Sarah. She took the time to listen to each of us individually and provided constructive criticism on how we could improve our performances. Her insights were invaluable and helped us all to become better voice actors.Overall, I would highly recommend Sarah's voice acting classes to anyone interested in pursuing a career in voiceover work or simply looking to improve their skills. The instructor was top-notch, the material was engaging, and the environment was supportive and encouraging. I left the class feeling inspired and confident in my abilities, and I know that I will carry the lessons I learned with me for years to come.
Nina Halliday: Sarah Troyer Voice Over Coach Level II is an exceptional teacher who respectfully encouraged the best out of each unique student. The age range of 18 to 65 with vastly different acting and natural voice over abilities.I came into this class with absolutely no voice over or acting experience. I was the oldest student with an entrenched approach. There were many occasions that I was out of my comfort zone which ultimately broke the 'the announcer' though articulate my approach lacked interpretation of words and the intention of the various characters. The other great take away is I have a comprehensive understanding of the various VO work from animation to advertising from actual performance in class and submitting MP3's.Because of Sarah's 30 years of industry experience her feedback and guidance has given me the confidence to consider VO work.
Tim Fukushima: Completed part-time, VO Fundamentals 1 and 2 with Sarah Troyer. She brings a great amount of experience and knowledge. Delivers a fair, constructive and supportive approach. She sees your strengths, challenges and meets you wherever you need to be or willing to go! Highly recommend Sarah and the school.
TheSingles Vancouver: VO classes with Sarah Troyer - Sarah was FANTASTIC! I highly recommend taking her classes if you're looking to get into Voice Over. She was extremely supportive and patient. It was lovely to watch not only my personal growth but the confidence build and progress of everyone in the class. 10s across the board!
James Callaghan: I did the beginning and intermediate voice acting classes with Sarah Troyer and I cannot recommend these classes highly enough. Sarah creates a warm and inviting environment in which budding actors can explore, discover, and develop their skills and talents. She's an excellent instructor, bringing her class through their paces without ever demanding too much. She is responsive and engaged with each student, and we all learned from each other as well as from her. At the end of the last class, no one really wanted to go, we certainly didn't want it to be over. But having completed these courses, I feel confident that I have what I need to take the next steps into a strong voice acting career. Thanks, Sarah, and thanks VAS!
Philip Mullany: Really great school, the admin team are very helpful! The part-time voice over classes are amazing! Sarah Troyer is a wonderful teacher! She has so much knowledge to share and is incredibly supportive. She also has a real talent for teaching and is able to really help you improve and get the best results!
Hank Lin: I recently had the pleasure of taking Beverley Elliot's Fundamentals Acting Class I and II, and I must say it was a truly great experience. From the very first session, Beverley's warmth and enthusiasm for the craft of acting was infectious and inspiring.Throughout the course, she provided us with a wealth of knowledge and practical tools to help us develop our skills as actors. Her approach was both insightful and encouraging, and she always took the time to give individual feedback and guidance to each of her students. One of the things I appreciated most about Beverley's teaching style was her emphasis on authenticity and vulnerability in performance. She taught us how to tap into our own emotions and experiences to create truthful and compelling characters. By pushing us out of our comfort zones, Beverley not only helped us to develop as actors but also as individuals.Overall, I would highly recommend Beverley Elliot's fundamentals acting class to anyone looking to improve their craft and gain a deeper understanding of the art of acting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced actor, Beverley's expertise and passion for the craft will leave you feeling inspired and empowered to take your performances to the next level.
Tate Chernen: The 6 month program is a great choice for anyone wanting to get into the acting industry. I met many great people and the courses were filled with lots of useful info and experience based learning. Instructors were so helpful and gave me the confidence to pursue the craft, like Sarah Troyer who helped me with lots of care to create a Voice over demo I was very proud of. All of my teachers were great. You won’t regret the 6 months.
Savannah Heelis: VAS is an amazing school to learn and grow as an actor and as a person! I had the most amazing time and met friends that I’ll have for life at this school. The teachers are incredible and create such a welcoming environment. I didn’t really consider voice over before the FTV program but I had so much fun with it! Thanks to Sarah Troyer who helped us create our voice over demos and be creative with our characters. And Katrina Salisbury was so much fun to work with in voice over! They are both amazing teachers. As well as Dan and Janet for audition! And scene study with Bronwen was great she is so knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend this school and training with these teachers.
Jen S: I’d like to speak about my experience with the wonderful instructors I had the pleasure of working with.Firstly the entire roster of voice over instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, professional and insightful not only when it came to the craft but also when it came to advice about the industry itself.Sarah Troyer was an absolute stellar instructor, she always encouraged me to believe in my capabilities and work harder to go above and beyond that. Her feedback was always specific and industry-orientated. Every simple and short recording session, I still felt like I had improved by the end of it by leagues and miles. Her guidance is detailed and concise and always easy to understand.Ely Jackson is a superstar as she always ensures she gives you a rich and exciting class while still being strict when she needs to be. Tough love in the greatest form, she pushes you to try harder and do better!Jeff Evans-Todd was incredibly knowledgeable and was really invested and passionate in teaching newcomers to the industry. He very often gave heart-felt advice and encouragement. I really appreciated the thorough warm ups at the beginning of each class that got us ready for a day of voice over work!Katirina Salisbury - is no exception, she’s very experienced and her instruction is also very easy to follow. She is very dedicated!Dan Bacon, Erin Boyes, Nils Hognestad, Janet Kidder and Francesca Bianchi were all an honor to work with in audition and scene study. It goes without saying but their knowledge and experience is out of this world, and their methods of instruction, though differ, all aided me greatly in my learning journey and acting journey for each challenge I faced their advice always hit home and helped me persevere through some road blocks allowing me to achieve new goals and adapt for the better. I can’t stress enough how lucky I was to have been in their classes!!In fact all the instructors at VAS are really great at what they do and are extremely invested in what they do. They provide a different perspective on how to approach acting, so being taught by several in one program ensured that we were exposed to a well-rounded and balanced curriculum.
Seajun Leung: I did the 6 month FTV program here. I really enjoyed my time studying here. All the teachers were amazing. Especially voice over with Ely, auditions with Scott and improv with Ed.Thanks for the great times here. Highly recommend it. Honestly one of best decisions I've made.Cheers
Tyson Dornn: Choosing to attend the 6 month FTV program at VAS was a fantastic experience. I walked out of there with a starting point for my acting career and confidence in what I was pursuing. The classes were unique to each other and all valuable in different ways. From Audition class with Janet Kidder, I learned how to buckle down in a time crunch and from Voice & Movement class with Francesca Bianchi and Stephanie Izsak, the importance of breath work. It was also during these six months that I gained a passion for voice acting, which is something I never thought I'd be interested in. Working with Ely Jackson and Sarah Troyer, they helped me feel comfortable in the Voice Over booths. For anyone considering going to acting school, I can only speak through my experience when I say I didn't just grow as an actor, but I grew to learn more about myself as well!
Paula Navaro: This is such a great school to be in !The 9 month program is beyond professional and helps you out so much in your craftAs well as the remarkable teachers in here ! Such as Ed Witzke, Ely Jackson , Daniel Bacon , Zahf Paroo, Johanna Newmach and so many othersGreat place to develop your skills for sure !!

Ely without a doubt will strive each day to make sure your class is nothing less then perfect and ensure you leave better than you walked in.
leelan bond: The most fun I had during my 6 month acting program was with the most delightful, professional and most considerate voice over teacher ELY JACKSON. Every day was a joy and her notes are always spot on. If you're looking for a start in voice over, I cant think of anyone better to show you the ropes.
Evan Ellison: Attended the six month FTV had an amazing experience!! All the teachers are amazing !!and truly want you to succeed to the best of your abilities.Ely Jackson was one of my favourite teachers/coaches for VO, she has such an amazing energy, and really makes you feel comfortable enough to fail. Had a blast here!
Ty Owen: VAS was an absolutely amazing experience. I learned so much from the instructors. I can not wait to go back and take more classes. The staff is unbelievable. The teachers are amazing. I had a few favourites for sure.Ely Jackson in Voice-Over is amazing. She’s very motivating, experienced, talented. she knows her stuff and her classes are super fun.Sarah Troyer in Voice-Over is also amazing, she’s very experienced and inspiring and her classes were always fun and educationalScene study with Frankie was unreal, she pushed me so hard to be a better actor and I am today cause of her.Audition with Dan Bacon and Nils was so good as well, both very experienced actors and knowledgeable, I learned so much from them.I can not say enough good things about this school.there are too many people to thank and praise. I can not wait to go back and I hope one day to maybe teach here myself.Thank you everyone!-Ty Owen
Shyia Gray: As someone who loves the arts, VAS has helped to expand that passion in ways that I didn’t know I could! Voice over isn’t something that I had a lot of experience in prior to the program, but during the 6 month FTV, with the help of the amazing instructors such as Sarah Troyer and Ely Jackson, I have grown a lot as a voice actor. They both also care so much about, not only their students studies, but our future careers! Would highly recommend
Max Kopytko: Going to VAS changed my life for the better, I learned so many amazing skills and made many life-long relationships. Abrielle Sarah Dumansky: I loved voice over class, it was my absolute favourite out of everything at VAS! I loved working with all of the voice over teachers, but I especially really enjoyed learning from Ely Jackson! She taught me so much and she is so fun to work with!

On The Mic Training: what do users think?
Laurie Waldman: I just completed the Foundations of Voice Over course in Toronto through On The Mic Training and absolutely loved it. The amount that I learned in this course is remarkable. Paul Bates, our instructor, was very knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. His effectual teaching of skills and direction, in 'real-booth-time', was invaluable to a VO Newbie, as well as a ton of fun. And a big shout out to Chris, our sound engineer, who took all the time and attention needed to make sure we all felt comfortable and sounded great! I was only just thinking about entering into VO when I signed up for the course, not completely sure if I would be any good at it or even like it. Well, this course proved to me that I don't like it.....I love it! And with the training offered by Paul and OTM, I might be pretty good at it too! If you are considering entering into the world of VO, run...don't walk, to sign up for this course. You'll not only learn so much but you'll have a fabulous time too!
Ceara Morgana: I was looking for a pivot in my career when I decided to attend the Full Time Diploma Program at OTM. At the time I took what felt like a big chance and I ended up with an experience that has formed the foundations of a new career! I left with connections and friends that push me everyday in my craft, my expression and my outlook. The alumni are a lovely group of ambitious and supportive people as well! My time at OTM hasn't come to a close, the door is always open and I'd gladly walk through it again and again.
Stephanie Halber: Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and instructors at On The Mic! I recently graduated from the full time diploma program and gained a wealth of valuable experience. I’ve been in the Film and TV industry for about a decade as an actor and coach, but my heart was always in voice work. I was able to learn from about 20 professional instructors who are working actors themselves with thousands of credits between them. We spent about 320 hours on our feet working on scripts, listening to others work, and learning how to launch our business in the professional VO world. We had access to studio space and worked with kind hearted engineers, who even taught us about Pro Tools and the basics of engineering. From building my home studio, learning about my craft and offering classes in almost every genre of VO, voice and movement work, business knowledge, recording my first demo (which turned out awesome!) an agency showcase, and post grad check-ins, this program offered a detailed and comprehensive approach to what it takes to be a voice actor. They did their best to foster a community that cared about their students well-being, were open to student feedback and supported them to grow to their full potential. They have my endless gratitude. I dreamed of going to OTM for a decade, and I am so excited to start the next chapter of my journey in VO. Thank you again to everyone at On The Mic. If you want to start in VO, reach out to OTM, don’t wait! Go for it! Kindly, Stephanie
Hudson Stewart: I recently completed the Full-Time Program and On The Mic made me feel completely ready to enter the Voice Over Industry! The part time course are great fun too if you want to get a taste of the industry. That's where I started and it lead me to want to do this full time!
Stephen Byrne: I have just completed my second 4 week course in the On the Mic Training School in a 3 month period. I was very excited and satisfied with the results from both courses. The instructors were so well placed to offer these courses - they had a wealth of knowledge and experience and were very generous in sharing it with us. I love the atmosphere inside the training center - always many smiling faces and very satisfied customers. Harrison, the director of the center was helpful to me on so many occasions and has my deep gratitude for this. These four week courses are really good value for your money.I want to express a special thanks to Erin Moon - the class instructor on the audiobook narration course - she really throws herself passionately into her teaching. Her classes are wonderfully packed with informative and useful content. She is a very helpful and insightful teacher. Her knowledge of the industry is very impressive and her observations are very balanced, rational and based on sound reasoning and experience. I recommend her course very highly to anyone who wants to demystify audiobook narration. Amazing courses, seriously sound and competent instructors and great return on your investments.
Seajun Leung: So far so good. Teacher is amazing, the equipment is great and I'm having an awesome time here. Location...😬 could be better haha
Owen Francis: I have recently graduated from the full-time program offered at On the Mic Training and I have had an amazing experience there overall. The program is designed to give students with little to no acting experience a comprehensive foundation to enter the world of voice over, as well as it builds upon any prior acting experience a student may have to help reframe it in a voice over specific context. Voice over isn't an easy job and OTM does an excellent job of covering a vast variety of topics within the world of VO from animation to commercials, video games to audiobooks, and tons more in a short span of 6 months. A fair warning, you'll get out of the program what you put into it and it takes a lot of work to become a professional voice actor. Don't despair however if you don't have the time or energy to put into a full-time program (and it's definitely full-time!), the vast majority of teaching and lessons can be learned through their part-time program as well!Full time ProgramPros:- Empathetic instructors and staff- Strong feeling of community- Safe space for people from all walks of life and a genuine respect for each individual's personal identity- Comprehensive beginner-intermediate level VO training- Advanced-level training available- Personal discovery and growth are thematic through the whole program- An emphasis on self acceptance and working from a place of care and positivity- Large variety of talented instructors who are all currently working in the industry, with decades of experience- Professionally recorded and directed demo at the end of the program with a discount for additional demos- Alumni have continued access to some of the studio spaces after graduation for free- Program grows and adapts to follow the trends of VO as the industry has been dramatically changed by the pandemic- Quick response times from the staff and instructors- Covers the business side of VO and how many different and new opportunities can be found in the industry- Continued accountability after graduation from instructors and the owners- Additional external workshops and teaching tools recommended after the programCons:- Homework submission and digital material organization was a little confusing and was sometimes different between instructors- The surrounding neighborhood can be loud and distracting during class times (people banging on the windows, yelling outside etc.)- Classrooms felt a little on the small side and they could probably use additional rooms or a larger space- 🐁Overall I wouldn't say that the cons outweighed the astronomical pros, and I'm excited to see where OTM is at in 10 years!Thank you Michael, Noel & Harrison for the amazing school and program you have put together here!
Marshall James Lee: I can’t imagine receiving better mentorship or training than that which I received at OTM. Within 2 months of graduating I was booking work and within 6 months generating an income. From cultivating talent to business development, OTM gave me what I needed to succeed upon graduating. Not only that, but the program itself was an incredible experience. Michael and Noel have created a warm and supportive environment for learning and growth. I discovered parts of myself that I didn’t know existed before OTM! In a way, I became more of who I truly am in this training and that has value far beyond the studio 😊Thank you for supporting me OTM!
John Gaunce: as early as the first day and communicated them to OTM. At first, apologies were made and attempts to address problems were apparently implemented. To be fair, some of the problems were solved or lessened. As similar problems continued to occur, responses became more labored, and discussions started to frame the issue in terms of me being the problem (if that’s ever happened to you as a customer… you’ll appreciate how infuriating that can be
Susan Robb: This program changed my life.It provides the only accredited training ground for aspiring voice actors and the institution has been built on genuine kindness and compassion. Brilliant. Students learn from a plethora of successful voice actors & instructors (20+ Specialists over the 6-month program). Well-rounded and intensive with a huge potential for personal discovery. This opportunity resulted in a complete mid-Life career change for me and I’m so glad I jumped! The owners, instructors and admin team care so much about all students, and despite how much the school is GROWING LIKE CRAZY (office in Toronto now!), they remain patient and there for us, even after graduation. I honestly don’t think this experience can be replicated anywhere else. It awakened my inner child and artist and I am continuing to reacquaint myself with that magic. MAGIC. Special Thanks to Michael, Noel, Harrison, Cat (Sid), Jas, Kendall, Giles, Ingrid, Diana, Erin, Kelly (stop playing the move along music please) Brian, Graham, Heather, Mikal and all the other fabulous instructors/actors at OTM. 3 months after our last class, and I am booking gigs. I even got one after only auditioning 5x in total on the online platforms!
Sabrina Fernandes: Attended the weekend intensive Foundations at On-the-Mic and what a riveting experience it has been. The teacher/director was absolutely phenomenal in her teaching skills allowing for a safe space to be maintained as we went through the day exploring the untapped corners of our personalities out loud. Additionally, the quality of equipment and studio setup gave room for a real life experience of being behind the mic. What an exciting and introspective experience it was. Highly recommended for anyone thinking about dipping their toes into the world of voice acting 👏🏼
Michaelis Sebastien: Positive:ProfessionalismI graduated from the Full Time program and I had a great experience. I looked forward to every class. I now am working in the Vancouver Voice Over industry. The studio is fantastic and COVID safe. I made a ton of friends with fellow students and teachers.
Julie Mallet-Paret: I recently graduated from On the Mic Training, and I can't recommend it enough. They taught me the modern tools and techniques of the voiceover performer, how to engineer audio, what directors and agents expect from me, how to take direction, and so much more. But, more importantly, they held up a metaphorical mirror to me, so I could understand how I was being seen by others. What facades I was hiding behind in my work. Over the 6 months of the program, I was able to chip away at my own armor and learn to be more vulnerable and authentic in my work. I became comfortable in my discomfort. OTM is not just a school for voice or acting - it's a self awareness and self acceptance bootcamp. I have grown not only as a performer, but also as a person. To anyone considering the full-time program, I encourage you to apply when you're emotionally prepared for the hard truths and deep introspection the program will bring. Be ready to break down what holds you back. Prepare yourself to be changed. What you get out of the program is tied heavily to how invested you are in yourself, and your own authenticity. So, do it.Brace yourself, and dive in.
Amy Kyba: Best Voice Over school ever! I attended OTM's full time program in Fall 2019 and it was one of the best experiences of my life. All of the teachers were amazing, and each one taught me something new and useful to use in my VO career! I learned how to do Animation, Commercials, Narration, Dubbing, Video Games, Audiobooks, Accents and Dialects, How to Act, Improv, The Business of VO, How to warm up, How to record auditions from home, and so much more! Not to mention the amazing opportunities we were given while attending! We sat in on an actual VO narration session, we got to meet and speak with an agent, at the end of the program we got to do an agent showcase, and left with a professionally made demo. I made tons of life long friends and family attending OTM. I went in with no VO experience, and came out a pro. I am truly grateful for everything they did to help me in my voice over career. I 10/10 recommend On The Mic Training.
Patrick Graves: Voice over is something I never thought was possible as a career before going to on the mic training but after the 6 month program it's a career path I can see myself succeeding in, With amazing teachers and the classmates I met there it's an experience I will never regret and can't recommend enough for someone wanting to get into voice acting.
Zaida Davis: I just graduated from the full-time online program last month and though I knew it was a very intensive program going in, I got much more out of it than I expected! Not only have my practical skills like editing, auditioning, speech quality, and acting greatly and noticeably improved, but I was also able to get expert advice on business skills like building my own professional home studio, where and how to get work online, and networking and getting agents, to name a few. Throughout the program, we were taught by so many industry pros from every possible area of voice over, which was both very fun to explore and helped me discover my areas of strength. Plus, all of them were always happy to work with us, even 1-on-1 if we needed it, to help us learn and improve. As I write this review, I’ve recorded a professional commercial demo, and since starting to work online in July (mid-way through the program), I’m already making progress towards the program paying for itself! Thank you so much OTM!
Nikki Fournier: I am a Graduate of the full time-Online Voice Over-Diploma Program. I thoroughly enjoyed this program and all of the amazing teachers that we got to work with!!Learning about all of the different Genres of VoiceOver and how to be successful in each field was a great experience! I am also very thankful for some of the friendships I've over these past 6 months, and I am excited and confident to continue my journey in VO in my at home PRO studio!Although all of our teachers were great to work with, I would like to send a BIG shout out to Kendall Cross, Diana Kaarina and Erin Mathews! I learned So much valuable information from these 3 wonderful ladies that I will cherish forever!Side note- there were some issues with sharing documents, and technology issues with the online program, however things were usually dealt with efficiently and effectively!!
Annamarie Yang: I am a recent grad from the online full time diploma. I had so much fun and got to explore the artistic/playful side of me that I'd put in storage for years. This program really honed in on all of the important areas of voiceover, and helped me build my skills and confidence. The instructors are amazing - they are supportive, knowledgeable, and talented. Thank you to everyone at OTM!
Mark Schuppener: I got more out of the full-time program than I could have ever imagined. I grew my talent, maturity, knowledge, my circle, and my respect or the industry and the hard work of every aspect. The instructors are extremely experienced and knowledgeable. A family is grown through the process and the nerves die down. The full-time program let's you experience almost every focused path you could take and is worth every penny. My time at OTM will never be forgotten.
Ayla Seymour: On The Mic's full time program is the best experience and step I took for my career. The program, teachers and follow peers (classmates) are all phenomenal. The support, advice, knowledge and growth that was imparted upon me in 6 months (and beyond the program) is absolutely amazing! The best way to describe On The Mic Training is OTM is family and a home away from home.
Alex Fox: This school is truly a one of a kind experience that you will not find anywhere else in North America, or perhaps even the world. Every teacher that works at OTM also actively works in the field of voice over, so you are learning from the best of the best. They teach you on all aspects of voiceover, from the business behind it to recording and submitting auditions, to mastering your craft at all areas of V/O across the board.I would highly recommend this school to anyone thinking of pursuing voice over. There is no other school like it.

Canada College Vancouver: what do users think?
Therese Aired: Terrible place, passed by once and the employees are basically just like a body to fill the roster and work as a slave. The director is rudely yelling and a instructor is bragging. Stay away!
Colton Cox: Its amazing. Great people. Something to look into for hospitality management courses. Im having a blast !
david guevara giraldo: My experience at this college was really great since my teacher greg help me to improve my English skills such as writing, listening, reading and speaking. So the help of greg allowed me to achieve the result of 6.5 on my ielts test
Tamara Shtanova: IELTS test centre operated from Montreal so expect worst communication ever, disorganised, money-making machine. Some businesses should not be allowed to run tests like this.

Luiz Ribamar Ribas: I love VGC! Excellent english course.
Itamar Carvalho: I'd like to express my gratitude to VGC International College for those 4 fantastic months in the Global English and University Preparation programme. It was an incredible event that was well beyond my expectations. Excellent environment, awesome structure, I was always at ease and appreciative of the willingness, expertise and friendliness of every member of the staff. Even though everyone was wonderful, I'd want to single out Christopher Hunt and  Adrian Valentine, who served as my instructors for the last 3 months. They are excellent and professional teachers, I can't thank them enough for what they taught me. Besides that, I also want to recognize, Aly Bhola for all the support throughout these months. I am very happy and satisfied with my experience at VGC, you truly are the finest language school!I wholeheartedly suggest VGC International College to anybody who is contemplating it, I am sure that you will not be disappointed!
Aldo Rodríguez: Great college💯💯. Excellent English classes.

Thiago Soares: Although I only had online classes, I had a wonderful experience, in VGC, I felt that all staff are willing to help. During the classes, I realized that all the teachers are extremely qualified. I made the pathway, and I feel very confident to face academic life and Canadian multiculturalism. Thank you!
Ignacio Dinamarca: I want to thank VGC International College for two incredible months in the University Preparation Advanced program. It was a tremendous experience, way beyond my expectations. I always felt very comfortable and grateful for the professionalism and kindness of every member of the staff. Even though absolutely everyone was great, I want to highlight Adrian Valentine, who was my instructor for these two months, he is a great and very professional teacher, I can't thank him enough for everything he taught to me. Besides, I want to highlight Javier Torres, Aly Bhola, Jude Conroy, Iain Angus, the Student Services Department and the instructors of Friday Workshops. I think all of you should feel very proud of working in such a great company, you really are the best language school! That being said, I can totally recommend VGC International College to anyone who is considering it, you won't regret!
Mara Protta: Excelente! Voltaria para continuar meus estudos lá.
Fred Ruiz: I consider VGC the best ESL college in Vancouver since teachers are quite committed to the development of students. Thanks to them, my English skills have increased considerably, as a result, I got a great IELTS result being this my main goal when I decided to study here. During my journey, I attended different programs (IELTS, Global English, University Preparation) thanks to the flexibility of its programs. I am so glad to have chosen VGC no only for the professionalism of teachers but also for the administrative staff who supported me all the time (study programs, accommodation, health insurance, to mention some). Thanks, Jana, Catherine, Bianca, Adrian, Pavla -such great teachers. Aly, certainly, an awesome university programs advisor!. Also Iain, Javier and Sakiko for all the support I received. Thanks, VGC!
Haze Nam: The best Language school
Luma Dórea: When I didn’t reach the IELTS grade (proof of proficiency in the English language) to attend a postgraduate course in International Business Management at Douglas College in Canada (🇨🇦), I felt powerless. While studying foreign language, still in childhood, I went through all levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced until I reached graduation, still in high school, in the 8th grade, I had the opportunity to live a year in the USA and study an academic year (in middle school).I returned to Brazil and continued studying English only at school as a compulsory subject and before the entrance exam I took the Cambridge proficiency test. And that was it ...With approximately 10 years of little use or even disuse of the foreign language, I firmly believed that speaking, reading, listening and writing in English was like riding a bicycle. Once we learned, I would never forget...my mistake ...It is true that I have not completely forgotten ... but I learned that foreign language is like physical activity, the more "sedentary" we are in practicing, the less strength we will have when we need it.Anyway, IELTS was not the last light at the end of the tunnel, I had another option to take an intensive preparatory course at a University Preparation Program, the VGC International College. I can only thank VGC and the entire academic staff of this institution, it was 2 months of intensive English classes, assessments, projects and a lot of hard work involving theory and practice, that made me leave the comfort zone and pull my capacities and skills to a higher level. Now I feel much more confident and prepared to enter another university journey and seek to achieve my professional and personal goals.Thank you very much VGC for the experience, teachings and experience in the last two months I hope you will continue helping many foreign students like me.Kind regards,Luma Santana de Souza Dórea.
Vincent Rolong Marquez: Thanks to all the support of VGC I was able to live an extremely rewarding and fun experience.I Improved my English skills in a fun and active way, interacting with the teachers, and talking about many topics, practice with my classmates learning new things in the process. It was not only very educational but my teachers and other support made all my learning at VGC truly unique.an unforgettable and incredible experience.
Levi Chen: VGC is a good place where you can learn Engliash and know new friends. Vibe is fun and friendly. Let’s hit the books.
Rodrigo De León Correa: Excelente college para mejorar el inglés, gran dinámica en las clases, trató amigable cercano, con contenidos entretenidos que te ayudan a mejorar tu gramática, writing, listening y speaking.

Vancouver School of Healing Arts: what do users think?
Alicia Hussain-Issari: The school is offering free virtual yoga clinics until the end of June and I had my first clinic this past Tuesday. It was exactly what I needed during this pandemic nightmare. The session helped me physically but it also reminded me to be hopeful about life post-pandemic. There was a lot of focus on deep breathing and there's nothing like breath to bring you into the present - where you need to be right now. To be present is a gift. Thank you, VSOHA. I will be back for more :)
Melanie Lynch-Major: just did my first virtual yoga therapy session and it was absolutely perfect! this program is creating (and adapting to the current situation) a pocket of wonderful healers!
Meghan Dimma: I had a one-on-one session with a VSOHA student and it was a stellar experience! It was therapeutic & healing and exceeded my expectations!! Thank you!
Nicole Stevens: Amazing and supportive! Highly recommend!
Fiona Harrison: I receive regular massages from the VSOHA students in their Thursday and Saturday Clinic days. I am always impressed with their professionalism & knowledge. There is no guesswork going on. Always greeted at reception with a warm & friendly smile even when they are quite busy. Cheers to everyone of you; teachers, students administration staff. Thank you so much.
Jesse Chan: Completed the spa therapy program. Incredible how much high-quality learning they were able to cram into 9 months. Caring and highly knowledgeable instructors. The school is well-run and organized. Everything you need to succeed is there.
S Whitehead: "On Thursdays we get massages" I've been getting massages for about 6 years at the school. The students do a great job and it's a lovely treat in the afternoon each week. Approx $30 for an hour / $45 for 90 mins. You cannot beat that price. Treatyoself.
Diane Prentice: Always a great experience (and an excellent value).
Samareh Rahmanian: I have been to the student clinic at VSOHA many times, and I must say the treatments are very high-quality and spa-like. The students are very well-trained by highly skilled and knowlegable instructors and are able to personalize each treatment based on each indivisual’s needs.I also attended VSOHA as a student in the 700 hour Bodywork Therapy program and received world-class training in various bodywork modalities.I HIGHLY recommend this school.
Janet Haigh: VSOHA has offered me incredible teaching and learning experiences, as I embark on my future career as a Yoga Therapist. I recommend their courses and student clinics as professional, thorough and terrifically helpful opportunities to advance and enrich your life. Give them a try! You will dissolve in the supportive, nourishing environment offered you.
Behzad Azari: I got Shiatsu Intensive course hearvand found it amazing. The environment, teacher and office stuff are just amazing people.I do recommend this school and specially Shiatsu program for those of you who want to start getting some therapeutic and manual therapy skills or for those who are looking to add some additional skills...
Anton Lobashkov: I really liked the atmosphere and professional level of practitioners.
Chris Shin: Massage from students can be a hit and miss, but very good value for the price
Charlotte Forbes: I took my yoga teacher training here, and I cannot recommend this school highly enough. The atmosphere and people at the VSBM are wonderful.
Greater Vancouver Laundry and Linen Service: Fantastic people. A world of knowledge. Start your future here.
