Kenya Goanyfaster: EIGHT MONTHS LATER5 AND $2333.79 AND I STILL HAVE NO BIKEOriginally when this bike was purchase in December 2019, I was guaranteed the bike could be serviced in my hometown Kelowna. I was undergoing hip revision surgery in the next couple of months and this bike was going to be my rehabilitation equipment. I have documentation of this contractual agreement. Due to winter conditions, the bike was not assembled until April 2020, when I informed E-ride (Greenwit Technologies Inc.) the bike was showing errors on the computer. After attempting to ride the bike I later reported to E-ride the bike would not respond properly to the controls.The company E-ride referred me to Motortoyz was ignored for approximately two months by E-ride. In an email dated July 23, 2020, at 11:40:49 AM Keti informed me, “About that promise that Motortoyz will service the bike- that was the arrangement at the time you purchased the bike. However, things change and during the COVID lockdown the store was working with a low capacity and they lost their bike mechanic. We tried to contact the other bike stores in Kelowna but they wouldn’t deal with it.” Perhaps if E-ride did not delay responding for the approximately two months a mechanic would have been available to do the repairs, nor which shops in Kelowna they contacted.An email dated April 18, 2020, @ 11:16AM Waldi P of E-ride stated to me, “Take an estimate from Motortoyz how long it will take for repair, maybe it will be faster to get the bike here so we can take a look. The only thing you would have to pay in that case is shipping cost”I had to repeatedly ask Keti questions she ignored including, a) what bike shop here in Kelowna would Greenwit Technologies Inc., be contracting and paying to service this bike should it require further servicing, and b) whether Greenwit Technologies Inc. will be paying for all shipping and repair costs should the bike require it c) what did their mechanic found was wrong with the bike. Keti ignoring questions and having me have to ask them again I found unprofessional. I subsequently filed with the Civil Rights Tribunal requesting a refund as Greenwit Technologies Inc.has failed to live up the mutual contractual agreement was made even more frustrating having to deal with a very difficult employee named Keti.August 9, 2020, Keti emailed saying, "However, before sending the bike we are asking that you withdraw your claim for the refund of the bike you made with the Tribunal” She added, “The statement there was not correct in the first place since we never asked you to pay for the shipping.”August 10, 2020, @ 11:40AM I emailed Keti informing her I informed her this ultimatum she herself was asserting is not based on factually evidence. Had she reviewed the communication trail between myself and E-ride, & Motortoyz she would have seen the email dated April 18, 2020, @ 11:16AM from Waldi P stating I would be responsible to pay for shipping costs I added, “ I will withdraw the claim once your company confirms the requested information above, and once the bike has been received by myself and deemed safe to operate. I require a response before 11:00AM Tuesday August 11, 2020.Aug 11, 2020, at 8:12 PM, Keti later informed me my bike had been shipped to Kelowna and would be serviced at their expense if it requires more work. “Please withdraw the claim before receiving the bike.” Once again Keti has ignored my stating I will require test driving the bike to ensure that it is safe to driveCyclepath Kelowna has informed me E-ride has requested the return of the bike. It appears E-ride in Vancouver has not agreed to my test driving the bike to ensure it is safe to drive. August 15, 2020, wasEight months and $2333.79 later, I not only regret dealing with this company, its unprofessional service has deeply affected my recovery and rehabilitation from surgery for which this bike was purchased.

While I was there I tried many scooters and even an e bike to get a feel for what I liked and didn't like. They set me up with my perfect scooter and all the necessary accessories. The red colour of my new scooter inspired her name :ladybug. I am very happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend going to see them if you are thinking of making an e bike related purchase or if you have any questions related to the subject of e scooters.
Callum Finch: Awesome overall experience. The E-Ride staff are real pros! They love what they do and believe in the e-bikes they sell and service. Visited other electric bike shops in Vancouver and none compare with the E-Ride experience. I've had my electric bike for a month and ride it almost every day. My partner saw how much fun I was having and ordered her own electric scooter last week.
Tony Dong: I got tired of paying for gas and high insurance so I came here and got a motorino gtc (sold my big cruiser on the same day). Owner was very friendly and helped me finish everything all in a couple of hours including icbc (limited speed motorcycle). Also helped me install an adapter for the license plate free of charge.20180814 EDIT: I just got a call from the owner, apparently the GTC just got approved for government incentive, up to 35% purchasing price back!! THAT JUST MADE MY WEEK!!

Dallyn Rule: Poorly run company with impressively awful sevice. You could spend ten minutes on youtube and know more about these cheap imports than their sales or service people do. Buy elsewhere.
R P: Bought a lemon (Motorino Lti) and keep having to bring it back at least once a month. Thankfully it's covered under warranty, but it really really sucks to have to keep bringing it back. The service is good though and they are helpful.
Kevin RP: I bought my Motorino Xpn scooter over 3 and a half yrs ago and have loved every moment of it. The battery still has half the life so I can probably squeeze another yr out of it. The staff at E-ride have been fantastic. They are quite knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have not had any issues with the bike and it has been so much fun to ride. Being able to ride in all the bike lanes, park anywhere, and never get stuck in traffic, makes commuting Downtown fun and easy. I even double my wife and we have never had any issues with the Traffic Authorities (even during the fireworks at English Bay).The amount of money I've saved by not having any maintenance (oil change, spark plugs, etc), not needed to purchase insurance or gas, and never having to pay for parking (or worry about finding a parking spot), has made this bike worth every penny. It paid for itself within 6-8 mths of owning it. The only bad thing is that nothing will go wrong with it so I cannot yet justify buying a newer model with the bigger battery, quieter motor and smoother accelerator.
Zina Da: I went there today to ask about the electric bikes. All staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. i sent there about 3 hours asking tons of questions and all of them were answered. Im going to buy my electric bike from them for sure

Frank Rizzo: I owned the inokim light super 2. It was stolen from me twice. It was my favorite scooter that I've ever owned. But sadly I can't find another one that I can buy. Plus I will take every step possible to prevent the future loss of my favorite scooter of all time. It's definitely not something that I would ever take for granted again. Anderwriter: I'm loving the Evolv Stride. John at Urban Machina was very helpful and knowledgeable. The Stride is exceptionally well made, with enough power to climb our Vancouver hills, and it looks tough (see photos)! I think the "honeycomb" semi-solid tires and front and rear shocks is the best combination for city riding, as you get a reasonably smooth ride with no worries about flats.The only feature I wish it had was regenerative braking. I originally thought regen was designed only to add range by recharging the battery (not a problem, given the Stride's generous range). But it's useful for managing downhill speed, as it's easier than squeezing brake levers and saves a lot of brake wear. (Some models let you choose the regen strength level, too.) If UM introduces a scooter with it, I may take advantage of their "upgrade" offer—assuming I can do that and stay married. 😄That said, in all other ways the Stride is excellent. So if downhill braking isn't a big deal for you, it's a great value. And no matter which scooter interests you, I know you'll appreciate the good people at UM, and being able to support a local business. Cheers!

Mark Fettback: This place has serviced my 2 scooters for years but my last two services have been very expensive. I just spent over $1000 to have a new carburetor put on that had 224 km on it. It needed the flow valve adjusted so I drove and hour to get here for a quick 15 min job and was told I would need to leave it and come back in a week. Now it should have been done right the first time at least they should have taken the 15 mins to do it while I was there. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The service tech even swore at me. I was upset but never used language or raise my voice.

Very nice, professional and caring people!I was traveling through Vancouver when my scooter was stolen and recovered shortly later but with extensive damage. I needed an estimate done for the insurance claim. Tuesday morning is their crazy day as they are closed Sunday/Monday. But they took me in on a short notice and worked with my schedule. Patrick Jonsson-Good: This place is dope. To start off, despite its appearance (and their top-tier website), this store is entirely family-owned and operated. One small child insisted on opening the door for me on my way out. When I called them in the morning expressing interest in buying one of their bikes that afternoon and riding it home, I arrived at the store pleasantly surprised to see they had plugged in the bike I wanted to charge without asking/reserving or putting down money. I really like the girl I consulted with at the store, she was able to answer every question I could think of and even helped me plan my route home by showing me the bike shuttle that goes between Richmond and Ladner, easily saving me 1.5 hours of travel time. 10/10 overall pleasant experience, would recommend to anyone who needs to fix or buy an ebike

Ken Dang: The customer service team here is top-notch. I purchased my brand new Thunder Pro Mountain with the help of Tram. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. When I picked up my bike, they did a safety test on it to make sure everything was working correctly. They also took the time to attach a back rack to the bike for me, which I already own for no extra charge. I rode my bike this afternoon, and I can tell the difference between this professional bike and the cheap one I bought at Amazon, which kept falling apart (at least I could return it). The brakes and the tires, as well as the gear shifting, is superb. I highly recommend this bike shop to anyone looking for a high-quality electric bike.

Ace: Lukas, you are awesome! I had a problem with my scooter but he made sure that I'll have a great experience with Eevee's. He replaced my defective unit with a new one. People at eevee's had patiently answered my questions on selection of an euc. It took me weeks to decide which wheel to get. Never a moment I felt pressure. After a few times of self practicing on the new wheel, I was able to ride on the streets.

But all in all it was a great experience and this issue didn't affect my thoughts about their excellent customer service. I will take my bike to its first service here as well. Lester Soo: Upon deciding to purchase a 2023 Yamaha FJR1300ES, the question was from where? I already owned two motorcycles that I was not riding much and was tired of carrying two insurance policies. The idea was to trade 2-for-1 for something I will enjoy riding more. Starting east of 200th Street, I felt somewhat low-balled on the trade-in value and explored other dealers and options. My 2014 Ninja 1000 sold privately within days of advertising on CL at close to my (realistic) asking price.When I brought my remaining cruiser bike to Patrick at Daytona, he was a true gentleman and offered a trade-in value that we both thought was fair. Considering the tax advantage on the trade-in value, why bother waiting for CL responses; I signed the deal the same day!Patrick kept me informed of the shipping status of my FJR from Yamaha Canada and gave sound advice on available accessories and tip-over protection. I ended up ordering the T-Rex frame slider kit from the parts department.Delivery Date was awesome! The bike was PDI’d and ready to go at the agreed time, Patrick took the time to carefully explain break-in requirements and other important maintenance points from the owner’s manual, an insurance agent was onsite to take care of the ICBC. Full payment and documentation was quick and seamless.If you’re in the market for a new or used motorcycle with or without trade-in, you owe it to yourself to see Patrick and the team at Daytona Motorsports Vancouver. lym604: I wanna talk about my experience about recently picking my new xmax 300 2023 from Daytona in Vancouver.From the time last winter when i first was inquiring about how to put down a deposit to secure next years model of my bike to updating me on any updates while waiting for any news on when it would be shipped to canada and arrive at Daytona one person was instrumental on helping me and that was BLAKE in sales.Blake always tried his best reply to me as soon as he could to answer all my stupid question and to make sure i was confident in purchasing from them.But the best part was last week when i finally picked up my bike .blake went out of his way to take as many pictures of the bike the day before as i wanted and he took them good. he made the whole process of releasing and signing the oapers suppoper easy and stress free .in fact i actually really really enjoyed that part simply because of how easy going and patient blake was. i never felt rushed or even pressuered with anything.i hope the owner of daytona sees this and understands that blake is worth his weight in gold for what he brings to Daytona.He can bridge the younger generation and specifically the first time buyers to signing on the dotted line and walking out with a new bike from daytona.

Andy Kuiper: I was shopping for a moped, I was looking at bikes outside the shop when Blake introduced himself. He patiently guided me through the process of investigating the different models, right through to the purchase. Blake set up an appointment so I could get the bike registered and insured right in the store. The parts guys were amazing too, they were really helpful and provided their expertise on helmets, gloves, and locks. I had one small thing I asked Blake for some help with a couple of days after I purchased the bike; he and the dealership looked after me 100%. It has a ‘family business’ vibe… I’m glad I found Daytona Motorsports.

Opened the door and was met with a very discourteous « can you wait outside ».... 2 mins later someone else walks in and isn’t asked to leave..... I understand Max occupancy, but when you are selling a $3000 bicycle you could have better manners. A simple coming outside to say « hey sorry we are at our max... or, thank you for your patience, or sorry but I’ll be able to get you in in a minute. Nothing of the sort. Bad manners. Lost business.
