Emilia Muirragui: One of the best liquor stores in Vancouver. The interior is quite nice, and they have an extensive selection of wines, beer, and other spirits. They also offer tastings, and carry products/presentations that are sometimes hard to find. Additionally, you can sign up for an account and accumulate points for every purchase!

The selection is fantastic - I have never had a wine from there that I haven't liked. I really appreciate how they put just as much care into recommending a cheaper bottle as they do for the more expensive ones. Also did I mention the shop is gorgeous? Offers lovely little gifts and pretty packaging as well. Highly recommend to all.

I am a local and they have always been my go-to spot. Whenever I visit to they are always welcoming, attentive and find just the right wine. They even went out of their way for a an elderly friend of mine, and picked up a product that they couldn’t sell, just to deliver it when my friend had to be quarantined after coming back from the USA.Also... so excited that they now carry beer & spirits!!! I’m only going to be shopping there from now on. I tell all of my friend to support them!!!

Lynette Tetlow: After calling around to several places looking for a particular type of cider for a Christmas present, I happened to go into the store by chance and noticed that they carried something close to what I was looking for. Jason checked and found that they could order it and offered to do so without any obligation to me if I found it before it came in. The cider arrived quickly and I was able to pick it up withing a few days of ordering. None of the other wine stores had even offered to check if they could get it, I was impressed with their great customer service, both on ordering and when picking it up - thanks again!

James Hicklin: My partner and I have been exclusively buying our wine from this shop for the past 3 years. The Sunday tastings are always fantastic, and Jason, Todd and Chris are always happy to offer suggestions and/or pairings. It's also great to find lots of wines from smaller wineries that aren't always available in the government stores. They even hosted our wedding at the shop, and we can't imagine anyone having done a better job (thanks guys!). This is hands down the best wine shop in the city.

Smarty: The manager purposely set up an automatic 15% tip on your receipt without the choice of custom tipping. They say I should have look at the screen before they punch in. Ah, why would I tip a LIQUOR STORE? It is not a BAR!! They scam people there. Don't ever go in there. They say the cashier machines are set up automatically that way. There was never any tipping selection offered to me when paying with my credit card. Hope my reporting stops this total non sense, when paying customers are unware of such outrageous setup could happen to them. I suggest make sure to check your receipt before leaving the store if you have no other liquor stores close to you!

Mark Stockbrocks: They've got lots of booze and interesting tastings BUT, and it's a big BUT, they're not wheelchair accessible and it's actually hazardous to anyone who might want to spend their money at this business. I've smashed my hands and knees when the hydraulic door closer slammed my fingers shut into the door jamb, had to go to VGH for stitches on one occasion. That also happened to another one of their customers, a lady who was just trying to help me out. I felt awful for her because all these injuries can be easily eliminated by putting in push-to-open buttons just as the competition has.I've appealed to mgmt about 20 times but no push-to-open buttons have been installed....Kitsilano Liquor store on Broadway has made the effort to open their doors to people with disabilities and of course the BC liquor store has automatically opening doors... but this Burrard ownership has not even attempted to make their business inclusive to people with mobility challenges. My family and I will never be able to justify giving Burrard Liquor Store our business.Here's a note for the owner; if you install push buttons you will definitely make your investment back in short order and everything beyond that becomes profit. Plus you'll be acting in good faith as a good and decent corporate neighbor. People notice that type of thing and word travels quickly in our little corner of the city.Kitsilano has an older demographic and this will only increase as time marches on. It makes good business sense to adapt your store to be inclusive to people with mobility challenges and associated problems.Let's see if this ownership wants to have a heart... and make more money at the same time. I kindly suggest that the owner/owners adapt in order to not be left behind in the market.

Perfect addition to our Easter Sunday special dinner.Per can is $5.25 for 473ml.

Stephen Rees: I like stout, especially Imperial Russian stouts. These tend to be available around Christmas time, but the breweries usually have them during the winter months. BC Liquor does not do a Good Job of making BC craft beer available in their stores. Nor do they have much of a stock in the warehouse. They will only order for you of it is in stock. Private liquor stores say they can order - but 3 out of 4 did not perform. Broadway did! Not only that they called me when the delivery arrived, had it ready for me to pick up and even carried it out to my car. Great service, nice people ands genuinely helpful. If only this were true of more liquor stores!

I usually go there to buy drinks for gifts or for gatherings (prior to Covid-19) and the staff's recommendations have been well received by all recipients. If U allow your staff to act unprofessionally, demand people use sanitizer that isn't approved by the "canadian board of health and medical standards" and then act condescendingly towards customers, you will continue to lose customers like you did today.I walked to my local store 4 blocks away called "jak's" on grandville and 10th ave, where the employees are courteous, outgoing and professional all the way down to their attire. I purchased the same product at a cheaper price and was treated with respect and class.Allowing ur staff to sit on a stool and surf the web instead of actually representing your establishment with pride and with real customer service is embarrassing and reflex on management and ownership.Poor scores today Broadway liquore store. You have Much to work on if u want to be in the same league as jak's.

janvier manzi: This is the worst place to buy Alcohol. Guys there are very rude probably Racist mostly this Indian tall guy. They yell and talk rudely to customers. BC Liquor Licensing should close it. I would advice to buy your alcohol some place else.

Pooya Mohammadi: Robson Wine is a 3,000 square-foot store located on Robson street.✅ For sure you have to pay extra on top of all the drink you buy because of the super expensive location.🤵🏻 The staff is somehow helpful and in some cases they might be useful if you ask questions and in some cases rely on your instincts.💸 For emergency situations you can buy some drink here, but the price is definitely higher than BC Liqueur.🍷 There is a good diversity and you can buy the most frequent bought drinks. But, don’t think you can find special drinks.* In general, buy your drink and don’t expect too much from the staff.

Shawna R: If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in today to pick up a bottle of wine for a dinner party. I mentioned my friends really liked Hess Cab Sauvignon and did they have it? After checking their system records, they told me it was out of stock. I asked if they could recommend something similar. The person working said he knew nothing about wines and would get someone to help me. Kind of a shocker but maybe he was new?After 5 minutes of waiting (with no one else in the store), someone finally walked up. I repeated my earlier statement and he picked up some $75 bottle of wine and told me it was similar. I asked him to tell me more about the wine and he pulled some app off his phone to tell me something about raspberries. I claimed I didn’t think it was my friends taste and he started arguing with me about how the app is never wrong and that is exactly what the wine tastes like according to the app. I tried to explain I wasn’t arguing about how the wine tastes, but instead saying I didn’t think my friends would like it. While he was trying to find something else that might suit me, I saw some bottles of Hess on the shelf and grabbed one and got out of there as quickly as I could.Not only was the wine much more expensive than my local liquor store but going in there was a painful experience. I will never step foot in there again. Just an awful experience
