Golden Age Collectables: what do users think?
Jordan Holman: I Keep missing my buddy Patrick when I go in. But it's always a great experience when I go in.
Star Lord * Avenger: Very nice shop. Came in from out of town. Prices are a bit high but service and the store were awesome.
Kathleen Aflekia: Bit too low lighting for my eye sight to read titles easily which is kinda important for a book shop but other than that the service is great and the workers are very accommodating with orders for items not in stalk.
Tyler G: No place like it downtown. Great selection of comics and Collectibles. Friendly staff there to help you with any questions.
Ponda Baba: Been shopping here for over 25 years. Great back issue bins and glass counters in the back for your pricier comics. I filled some holes today and discovered they also have a decent hockey card section at a very very good price. This box of Allure is easily 120-130$ elsewhere. All your comic, toy, figurine needs in the heart of Vancouver. Thank God for Golden Age.
Shaye Nielsen: Wonderful selection of back issue at a reasonable price.
Marcelo Meirelles: Amazing store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Mind Full: Great selection of comics and graphic novels, very helpful and friendly staff, support your local comic shop!
Adrianne Spring: Always love the location, great staff, very informative & amazing selection of comics & collectibles.
scott villett: Great store......fun place to visit great staff

Manny Angel: Nice place for kids who are adults lol .
Yunfa Chen: Absolutely fantastic comic store with weekly releases, graphic novels, toys, figurines and a massive amount of manga.
Ulysse Desranleau: The staff was helpful and friendly. Visit the sales section for awesome deals.
NSP Pelletier: Great place to bring your inner nerd out! Love the shop.
Brea H: I absolutely love buying comics here! But I'll admit, I don't go as much anymore. That tall boy with the spider-man tattoos is never there. He was so knowledgable and seemed really enthusiastic about helping me find new things. And he's cute. Where'd he go? Bring back spider-boy!
Mary Pat Thompson: Comprehensive store for superhero paraphanalia and comics.
Warren Woodhurst: I've spent a lot of time and money here and I don't regret it in the slightest. Great selection, friendly staff. If you like comics, you ought to check it out.
Karen Lee: Since 1979! Golden Age is a classic, must-visit every time we are in the area!
Jonathan Clark: A good selection of north American comics and japanese manga. And if they have don't have something you want talk to the staff and they may be able to order it for you.

Lucky's Books & Comics: what do users think?
Yunfa Chen: Small indie comic shop that has a focus on children’s comics and graphic novels. Also has a solid selection of manga

Bia Sales: Amazing selection of graphic novels!
Lucian Rinke-Hardekopf: Lovely little store with helpful staff
Asha Raibmon: one of my favorite bookstores! i’ve been going since i was a kid so it’s pretty nostalgic (maybe that clouds my view) but it’s always been an amazing space 3
Lorna Moreno: You can find a lot of great selection here. I had a good time browsing nice comics in this place. It was unique and cute inside. It was comfortable and the space to explore is just right. Don't expect a huge space though, but it was alright for me because I had a good time exploring their many books available inside.
Mike Beard: The back room has a great selection of unusual and indy comics and zines.
Jennifer Chou: Cute bookstore. Love the yellow
Wendy Yang: You can find famous Japanese comic books here : D
Anna: i haven't been here for several years but have found some of my favourite comics here, really unique stuff that you don't see at larger bookstores.

Madeline Gallard: Tidy, well kept gem of a small store. They don't bother you while you browse which is great. And they know their stock well. I like it very much.
tubbytoucan: Lovely little shop great atmosphere good selection great staff would recommend to anyone at all interested in literature/comics and manga
Stephanie Broder: Thank you for your great selection and prices! What a treasure.
Jaeyoul Lee: A very small bookstore where you can reminisce your childhood through cartoons.
Miranda Zimmer: super cute bookstore. excellent selection of books. kind staff and inviting atmosphere!
Ethan Reyes: big thumbs up
Alison Woodward: I love lucky's!
Mae Stewart: The reason why "Hole in the wall" shops have such a glowing reputation is exactly because of places like Lucky's. This place is easy to skip or miss. Do yourself a favor and don't! I never regret stopping in.

Business type: Electronics store

Best Buy: what do users think?
T S: Very helpful and understanding staff, thank you for your help and advice!
Tash W: Cancelled our order of an air conditioner on sale after 3 days saying the delivery address didn’t match our CC address when it’s identical. Put the price up $275 same day.. never shop here.
Xyz Abc: Mandy is FANTASTIC. I came in to return an online order. For some reason their system showed one of the products had already been returned----I am guessing it had something to do with the price adjustment I got via a Best Buy live chat agent a few days prior. Mandy went the extra mile, she was super patient considering the slowness of their computers at the time, read through the live chat notes, and made sure everything was correct and proper. Wonderful customer service. I also appreciated Victoria's interest in and knowledge of computer parts and video games.
Paul Donnett: Best Buy’s increasingly antiquated customer service and financing leaves me truly stumped sometimes. Applied online for a Best Buy credit card today and got quickly approved. So far so good. So I drive to my local store, needing to buy a MacBook for my company. Get great direct service from the salesperson, to her credit. And the laptop is on sale, wonderful. But when I go to buy, I can’t, because Best Buy insists on sending you a plastic card in the mail. Apparently there’s absolutely no way up to clear my card even though I have proof in my hands that I’ve been approved. I ask if I can just reapply for the financing in store because the laptop is also on sale. Of course not, because then the system registers it as fraud. So I am given no choice, no options, no hold on the sale price for even a couple of days so I can come back and purchase it. I leave the store empty-handed. I don’t get a computer and they don’t get my $1600. Off to Visions and I’m cancelling my BB card.
Kyle Kumar: Useless
haidar Alsaady: Had an open box return on a TV that just didn't fit our space the way we wanted. I had lost the original receipt and was worried that might cause issues. Customer service was excellent, reprinted my receipt for me and helped me quickly exchange the TV for a different one. The team leader was incredibly helpful and friendly. Amazing job!!
Mohammad Hosseini: In the mobile section, a rude guy lied to me about the inventory of a certain phone, and after asking the other employees and figuring out that the phone exists, they tried their best to not sell it. they behaved like I am fraudulent. I don't know what was the reason maybe they were all racist. and saddest part was that even the manager "Teri" didn't give a s**t about our problem.
Frankie Lamb: The sales associate in the cell phone section knows nothing. The unlocked Google 6a phone with no contract has $150 discount posted on their website for several days already and the associate kept insistingit's not on sale and was tryingto persuade me to sign a contract to get the discount. Don't shop at this store.
Cell Universe IVM: Good customer service!
Sam S.: Was in dire need of a case for my new Samsung s23 ultra. Found a really nice Spigen case and found a price match at Telus. I was dealing with sales associate "Mandy" and about 10 minutes into the price match I asked her what the problem was as she scrolled up and down her phone. Didn't even bat an eyelash or explain anything to me. About 2 minutes later I informed her my parking was about to expire and I'd like to either make the sale or order online through Amazon. She immediately lost her cool blew up on me, informed me I couldn't talk to her like that. I think she may have been a little too woke.Regardless another sales associate came over matched the price immediately and I moved on with my day.I realize that it's tough to find good employees but you cannot have people like Mandy representing your company if they're going to be rude to the public.I don't also don't understand why it takes 12 minutes to price match a case that is being sold down the street at Telus. There's no shipping fees no conversion rates nothing involved it's pretty simple.Anyways I'm going to give Best Buy a one star for this encounter. My only advice to Best Buy would be treat your customers nicely or they'll just go online and buy it there with a simple click. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have done just that, next time I think I will.
Hossein ShirMohamadi: Before shopping from Best buy, I contacted an agent to learn more about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series printer online. They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises. Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.
Fernando Escobar Fandiño (Fescofan): Terrible service, 2 instead of 1 stars for the only lady who tried to help me.
José Gregorio Aguilar Herrera: They sold me an e sim that didnt work and when I asked customer service they said there was nothing that oculd could be done
Melissa C: Great store but don’t make the same mistake I did of leaving my parking ticket on the counter while purchasing products. Cashier thought it was garbage and I didn’t even notice my ticket was gone by the time I went back to the parking lot and had to pay $25 for a lost ticket. Seriously irresponsible to touch your customer’s things while they are in the store STILL BUYING A PRODUCT. I didn’t leave garbage on the counter on purpose I just took everything out of my pocket because the cashier needed to see my ID. I took everything with me on the way out I wouldn’t have left garbage for others to clean up.
sirswishalot: I try not to buy there because their service sucks. A lot mannerless gen z'ers. you spend a thousand dollars there and they give off a vibe of bitterness. Does best buy pay these kids' parents to get them out of their basements..? not sure why someone in early adulthood can't execute basic greetings when you're spending a bunch of money there. it just makes you not want to shop there. Please train these bitter, entitled kids better, thanks!
Samuel Normandeau: Awfully long wait times in-store. They made a mistake on my laptop purchase, and there's no way to reach the store by phone.
ali kashefi: The customer really enjoys when a salesperson in a store called Best Buy welcomes the customer and from the first minute he enters the store, introduces himself to the customer with a very happy and kind face, saying that my name is Behnam and I am the agent . On behalf of Best Buy, I am at your service. I am ready to answer any questions and provide any guidance to make a decision for your item. And explain it with heart and soul in very simple language that can be easily understood by me as a buyer. And not only the desired item can be easily accessed, so happy customer like me can also buy other items. With the satisfaction I have from this kind seller named Behnam, I thank the management of Best Buy for choosing Behnam. Dear Behnam, thank you very much for your attention and guidance.
Conor Davis: Tried to see if they had something in stock before taking time to go to the store. Talked to their online customer service to confirm the item was actually in store. After being reassured by online person it was, I went to store only to find out it actually wasn't in stock at all. Total waste of time.. then was told a neighboring store had it in stock. So I asked them to confirm that with me so I wouldn't have to waste more of my time. I checked the online status of this item which claimed it was out of stock. They claimed there was no way they could call the store to actually confirm it was there. Totally absurd. Complete waste of time. Don't worry I really enjoy paying for parking and burning precious moments of my life for nothing. I hope this store eventually folds like a cheap deck of cards.
Rory Dunn: Literally lied to me about their refund policy to my face to make a sale. Absolutely disgusting.
Olivia L: My so far experience with Bestbuy is fairly positive: no overwhelming pushing sales people; geeksquad always works well for me; large selections to choose from; smooth return process.Gurjot was being super friendly and helpful! Appreciate the service. Keep it up!
Superpig 2001: I went to go buy a vr that u saved up for, cashier lady was really nice to be as I wasn’t sure how the quest 2 was and it was my first big purchase with my own money. I asked her if I could try the vr and if I didn’t like it if I could return it, she said “you can try the vr but you must return it within 30days and if you want you can get the extended warranty”. She kept on making me buy the warranty but it was 150$ and I didn’t have that money. I realized that the quest isn’t for me so I came back to return it u see 30 days and they are very rude, mik the assistant store manager was very rude towards me saying no one would ever say that to me and basically calling me a lier! They didn’t want to refund me at all and told me that it’s final sale once open. I was never once told it was final sale, not on the receipt, not on the box, only online in fine print. Never buy from this Best Buy they are a bunch of scammers who are very rude and just want the sale, don’t believe anything they say. The lady’s name was YIMM from best buy on Cambie in Vancouver Canada. The assistant store manger who was very rude was Mik. Please spread this post as I really just want a refund from what I was told. Thank you for reading my story.

Best Buy: what do users think?
Angela: Poor customer service from Simi, she helped us with our transaction and tried to sell us $50 for 2 years warranty. Failed to use the correct words, we asked for clarification and her attitude was like she doesn't want to be there. She took a pause and her face reads judgement on us for not understanding her. No patience, not helpful.Got our email wrong, ended up not re entering one for our receipt. We wanted to check if our email was even entered, got a shoulder shrug and a smile saying "not my problem".
Rajwant Chahal: Best customer service by Kane.
Rebeca: Best buy customer service is the ABSOLUTE WORST. I took them 2 months to replace my dishwasher and left a nasty mess behind
Mujtaba Syed: We went in to get a laptop and couple printers. Numaan helped us with ease and suggested the best option as per our needs. Will definitely go back there.
Mark S: Before renewing or getting new cell contract DO NOT LOOK FOR RUSSEL, he act like he is your buddy with “I got you” but when he signed me up for a new contract, he did not mentions about the gift cards worth $300 but only he said was $100. When he left me with his associate, For some reason I went on Bestbuy apps and found out the $300 on a new contract.I ask the associate about it he then mentions that it’s a “new promotion”.
Nicky M: We wanted to get a $2500 TV with a price match on its own Best Buy website of $2200.The Senior Associate “S” in Home Theatre lied to us that she could do the price match.Once we ready to pay, she added up accessories and the protection plan that we didn’t want to our bill.I understand she wanted to sell to Protection Plan and accessory. But Instead of being honest and introduce everything, she added them to the bill without our consent when we ready to pay.We didn’t figure out the calculations right away and already took out our credit card. We know there’s tax on the $2200 TV so few more hundred dollars on top seemed making sense. After we really looked at the computer screen, we found out S added all costs to us and how unethical she tried to do the business. It’s is Best Buy, you don’t do business like this. Each staff represents the Company.Be honest to sell! She was angry and left the counter right after we caught her trick.Of course we didn’t get the TV and also wasted an hour of our time.FYI, my wife was the Operation Manager.
Whitney L: All the workers, albeit a bit short staffed and hard to find, were helpful. If they didn't know, they tried to find a coworker that would. Kenneth was very helpful and explained to me what cable I needed to set up two monitors, and showed me which one. Thank you!
Mykyta Kondratiev: What's the point of having this store if there is always nothing available there. If I wanted to order online I wouldn't come to the shop
Cally Aura: Came here after the Metrotown location employee had smooth brains and told be to look up what inventory they had because he was too lazy to help me.This location at Marine Drive saved the day. I placed an order online, then went and picked it up. I arrived, felt a bit sketchy going up a weird parking lot at night to get to the entrance, but once I got in the team at the pickup counter and the Geek squad were super helpful with answering my questions and helped me bring my brew purchase outside to my car.If you want actual help, it’s worth coming to this location. Avoid the Station Square/Metrotown location.
Qishen Cao: I went to fix my computer. Johnathan helped me a lot. He is very professional. Really great services here. Thank you so much!!
Margaret Scott: Keenan provided myself and another family member with genuine customer service. I bought a printer and he was super helpful. This was a recent purchase before Christmas. Outstanding young man. Thank you,
C C: Came in for an exchange. Process was really fast. Rainier (I believe is his name) at the checkout/customer service counter was polite and got everything done real quick with no problems.
Melissa Boulanger: Since you can't leave a review for their online sales exclusively I'll leave this here since it's the closest Best Buy to me. Purchased an item online to have it shipped to my address. They use Purolater as the shipping company who apparently doesn't leave shipping notices if they are unable to leave the package in the receiver's hands. And as Best Buy didn't provide a phone number for Purolater to call me at I was left with a package in limbo. Called Best Buy who told me to call Purolater of course and Purolater tells me the package is somewhere in their warehouse and will take upwards of 48 hours to track down and send back out. Totally unacceptable. When requesting the whole thing be cancelled and I just pick it up in store instead it was impossible. I was told I had to wait the 48 hours for Purolater to track it down and return it to Best Buy who would then take 3-5 business days to give me money back. So about a week's wait with no product and to get my money back. This is some of the worst pass the buck customer service I have ever experienced. And then the supervisor from Best Buy hangs up on you when you state your disbelief about how I can be out the product and my money with no resolution. Lesson learned, I will never order from Best Buy again.
One Grail: I love computers and the intetnet and their website is so terible i cant suffer through enough to see if they are selling what i want to buy.... ill shop elsewhere....
Ashpreet Kohli: I purchased an open box, HP Specter yesterday but the department manager including the salesperson failed to find the stylus pen with it. Today, Prab being helpful did an awesome job finding not only the stylus pen but also the power cable included with the box. Considering his confidence and professionalism I believe he should be working at least as a supervisor.
Ahmad Nakib: Took 20+ mins for a basic return/purchase transaction - by far the slowest service I have ever experienced. They were also unable to price match with Costco, even though customer support said they do.
John: They were alright
Justin Ashton: They only have one till that takes cash I had to let 3 people go ahead of me so I left without purchasing anything cause I was sick and tired of waiting, go to another Best Buy if you can do not go here
Jim Z.: Bad experience for the first time. Will be the last time going here. Came to pick up an online order for a game on sale at this Best Buy location, CSR claims that I've picked it up already and it's not in the system. That's weird, I've only visited just now. CSR claims manager is looking into it. Frustrating wait. Unprofessional customer service.
Navdip Dhatt: Do not go this location. They have nothing. i have wasted my time. They don’t have any apple products for displays.
Paul Chan: This branch is really good, the environment is very good, and the parking is very convenient.

Metropolis Comics and Toys: what do users think?
Baron von Wulf: We'll organized, great display cases, tables to play games, and a section for locally made comics. They also have a discount for repeat customers.
Jordan Dodington: Highly recommend this comic book store, I discovered this hidden gem, and I'm so happy I did! It's got a good selection of comics, cards, figures, Ive always found what I needed there. They also host card tournaments/playings if those interest you! If you love near Metrotown or are just in for a shop/visit, definitely come check out Metropolis Comics and Toys! 📚🎴
Arthur Grom: Cool place.. .. Its Just that they dont know what they have and what not... After a few minutes of watching alone I found what i wanted/needed and staff was suprised that they have it.
Robb InKorea: Very relaxed shopping experience, but that's par for the course for a comic book shop.
Exos Heroes: Terrible
Amir Beiklik: Great shop, lots of figures and very friendly owner. Cool little finds here and there.
logikwaffles: Wonderful selection, got a transformers figure I’ve been looking for at a very affordable price. Amazing customer service, worker was very nice :)
David Yates: Great selection of new comics, guy behind the counter was friendly enough as well. Wish they had a larger selection of older comics but can't win em all.
RONALD ALLAN CRUZ: awesome place. friendly staff.i always come here whenever i'm in burnaby. and i always find something interesting, rare, or worth collecting.
Ivan Narayan: Lots of comics and toys. Everything bagged and boarded and organized nicely. Half price comics too. Lots of collectables like star wars toys and batman, etc. Right across from metro and easy par6all around.
Ryan Wong: Lots of selection for toys, comic books, and models
Svein Ericsson: Decent selection! Nick helped me out with the layout of the place. Great guy! We alsi had some pretty good conversation.Go give it a go! 🤙
J C: Well laid out and friendly staff. Hold events. Used books and comic book packs. Great place.
Tsai Meng-Chi: Nice place. It has great selections of American comics
Markus Jacobson: Good for new releases
Abi Laws: Tidy, well organized, friendly staff
Sean Lum: Great local business. Always has good stock on a variety of collectibles. They can hold items for you if you call ahead, but don't abuse this feature.
Vegan Jeffrey: A cool place for toys and comics lover! At the comics section you'll find a wide range of collection from graphic novels to the weekly published comic books, and close to the entrance you'll find series in bundles on sale, so if you're new to the comic book world, buying a set might be a good idea! Toys section is mostly action figures: Marvel, DC, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, also monster movies characters and other classic movie characters like Ripley from Alien. If you happen to visit Metro town, check out this place! It's just five minute walk away from skytrain station.
myles dela cruz: cool
Ryan Anderson: Cool place, bit smaller than some time others but good no less.
Breanne Lewis: I've known the staff for at least 5 years now, and they're super knowledgable. Has an open, airy layout—it may be the most spacious and tidy comic shop in Vancouver. Tuesday-Thursday they're a little quieter and it's nice to work or play games at the tables in the back, they don't mind at all as long as you don't leave a mess. Also it's generally great for browsing, asking questions, and pre-ordering! Pricing is probably the most fair I've seen compared to other shops, too :)

Best Buy: what do users think?
Manju: I went to the store today to purchase laptop. Our associate, loveleen assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though She has told us about the warranty plan . Its a great service by Loveleen.
K M: Usually the staff can answer my questions but last time that i went there i choose 2 computers/laptops to buy (after an hour of looking and deciding). Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.
Paavali Henki: Very large store with big selection of electronics. Kind and knowledgeable staff members. Best prices.
Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎
mayuri mammai: Today I happened to go to this store to buy mac book, and at the billing counter, unfortunately, my Credit card chip is malfunctioning, this person named Mathesh started giving me looks and showing an unnecessary attitude, without even looking at my card he said it was expired, as I was trying multiple times inserting my card, he was acting it out. I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄
Navneet Kaur: I went to the store yesterday to look options for a laptop. The associate,Aman, assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though I had plans to buy later as I went just to look for the options,I ended up finalising the laptop as I was convinced Great service by Aman.
Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment. In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.
Ron Hunter: Awesome experience ended up buying a Sony portable speaker and I'm loving it
Mo Mo: its my favourite store in metro Vancouver ,stuff are so helpful, knowledgable and kind, service is fast, no fusspickup order were on time with email updatesgreat choice for everyone who is for new arrivals or dongles, partseverything is thereall my Macs, pc,iphones and watch including tv and appliances are for Grenville store

Mark P: Stood around for 20 mins looking for help while everyone I kept stopping kept saying someone else would help me. The customer service here is absolutely horrendous
Keyvan Radbin: Updated store with a lots of electronics.
Adam Newsome: Great experience at mobile booth. Fast checkout, no hassle. The staff member called me to let me know I forgot my ID there!
Macaw: It's alright, kinda sad
BB503TS CHIN: Good

Big Pete's Collectibles: what do users think?
Izi Kavazo: Very good comic book, collectibles, and hobby store. Pete and his staff are very helpful and friendly. Great selection of TTRPG, trading card games, board games, comics, and tons of collectibles.I've been getting indie comics from him forever.
Yunfa Chen: Really great comic store with weekly releases, graphic novels, toys and a sizable amount of tabletop games and wargaming (not much manga though)
Noah MacLeod: Such a great spot. They had a bunch of comics and graphic novels that I hadn't seen before. Amazing, and diverse selection plus their prices are super reasonable. I am visiting from the interior and my friend recommended that I stop in. I am very glad I did, I will be visiting again on my next trip down.
Cort Carpenter: I always find a treasure at Big Pete's and Pete himself is so friendly and approachable and has a mountain of knowledge in comics and ttrpg.
Brea H: Big Pete you are the goat. Thank you so much for finding me a copy of the intro of spider-boy today after an absolute garbage fire of a morning looking for it. You were so unbelievably kind, helpful, and pleasant! 10/10 :)
Jordan Steinberg: Great store. Good people. They can order pretty much anything
Jacob Greenough: Wicked store for board games. Highly recommend checking this store out
Pati Kim: I’ve only been in the store once n it’s a place that is so hard to walk away not getting anything… I’m wondering if the store buys comic book collections .. all r in good condition that I’ve had since the 90s.. from gen13, Simpsons, spawn,& d newer ones r the box set of Batman: death of the family, marvel zombies,& some more that I can’t remember atm..Does anyone know where I can sell all of my collections?
Ally Couch: One of my favourite stores to visit. Not only does the selection of comics, cards, collectibles and more make my blood rush with joy.. but the staff always have a good chuckle or two to offer. If you're looking for top shelf products with superb customer service, this is the place. Thanks Pete and team for all the years of providing extra bit of happiness to the North Shore !
Ben Mikkelsen: Great selection, reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, well-organized. Great community presence (a North Shore institution by this point). Can't beat Pete's.
Maria Marker: Best comic shop in town! I have known Pete for years and have collected hundreds of awesome comic books and collectables over 2 decades. Super selection! Great service and awesome shop!
Charlie Deagnon: Great shop first store I went to after moving to the lower mainland. Only thing I miss about the north shore. Pete is a great shop owner and all the staff are wonderful
Cody Taylor: Great store and staff members. I have been shopping there for years. Pete is a stand up guy. He painted my fence, helped me move, fixed my cavity, changed my kids diapers, and made turkey on Christmas Eve.
Breanne Fultz: Great service. Helped me find the perfect gift for my niece who’s just getting into comics and D&D
Cameron Keeler: Have been coming to this store for over 20 years, best staff, great selection and the mecca of hobby in North Vancouver hands down.
Philip Leith: Huge selection of comics, games and toys, with friendly and helpful service.
Noah JD Chinn: Great little store with a surprising inventory. I find hidden gems there as well as what I'm actually looking for!
Michael Lagace: Great shop, great staff! Fun and fair, that’s Big Pete’s! Always a pleasure to shop here!
Daniel Dave: I can't understand the logic of the 1 star review here when the customer didn't check to see if the store was open late on Xmas Eve. Big Pete's is a great small business store owner and has always been customer focus. Safety and well being of his staff and customers is also #1. Respect the store and its inventory. The small business owner is a dying species and always has its challenges. Here's to many years of serving the local North Shore.
Ashley Marie Pike: Pete is always super helpful and ludicrously knowledgeable. I always come to them for anything D&D, board game, and of course comics related. Lucky to have this gem on the north shore!
Ryan Dennis: Great shop. Great with my kids and always has best selection for collectors. This store is great with communicating all opening and closing times and I feel like I am part of a collecting family here! Go Big Pete!

Geek Squad: what do users think?
Mike Huang: Jan 2, 2023. I received a phone call claiming from the New Jersey, US. But the phone number shows it was somewhere from BC province, Canada. The person told me that there were warnings, alerts on my computer and told me to download and install Ultraviewer remote control software. They refused to mention the charge for fixing the problems if any. Please note, this software can be used by cyber criminals.
Dee King: Kane and Hardil (on two separate days) helped me set up and reconfigure my new phone. There was a problem with my old phone and email account, but they figured it out despite being busy. They were both friendly, patient, and clever. The customer behind me said she'd also give them 5/5 for trouble-shooting her printer. I don't know what I would do without Geek Squad. They have been so helpful since I started using them three or so years ago. The on-line service, I think it is 24/7, is also amazing.
William Watt: Critical:Quality
Jake Tipple: I have overall had a horrific experience with geek squad while trying to claim for my cell phone. The phone I received as a replace to my own is quite clearly refurbished (something I wasn’t told about when signing up) and is not performing as well as a replacement phone should. It had 85% battery life when I received it and it also has many problems with the screen, there are flickers of background light every time I unlock it, sometimes shadows appear on darker screens of different pages and the sound output chooses when it wants to work or not.I also had to call again after 8 days of making my claim because I hadn’t received a new phone and was told that it wasn’t even sent out yet which was very frustrating as I had struggled all week at work without a phone.I think the phone arrived on the 10th or 11th day and has issues. When I called again to claim on my “new” phone I was given the exact same options as before which was either~ send my phone and when they receive it, they will ship me out a new one (not great for a working person who has already been without a phone due to their slow response)Or~ pay $1100 deposit (after Christmas/during a pandemic) and pray that this phone actually works. When I asked my customer service rep (who was very polite) if I could speak to her supervisor to voice my upset at this poor quality and I was told they wouldn’t be able to do anything different and I would still have to go through one of the options.Overall I am very disappointed and would not recommend their service to anyone
Anna K: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessBest experience with Raman and Jim at Geek Squad on marine! Super efficient and friendly service.
