The Red Room has been a staple in the Vancouver live music and nightlife scene for over 15 years now. Since the late 80's, The venue space has been a nightclub and it's been a family run business that has been owned and operated for close to 40 years now. The venue's open floor plan features Vancouver's first state of the art PK SOUND system, world class Intelligent lighting and wonderful sight lines. Fridays and Saturdays are the hottest nights at the Red Room. Kicking the weekend off with Cancun Nite Fridays, Vancouver's longest running latino night presented by Vancouver Latin Fever. What started in the 1940’s as one of the first dance studios in the Granville area eventually became Gorg-O-Mish in 2003. Since opening its doors Gorg-O-Mish has stayed true to its vision of supporting music, art, and expression; challenging cultural norms, and creating a humble, safe environment for people from all communities.


The architect of the club has been involved in club scenes all over the world since the age of 13 - London, France, LA - and has been involved in the Vancouver scene since the 1980’s. They are responsible for our infamous honeycomb sound system, and pulling together a team of world-class visual and performance artists. Our Gorg-O-Mish family is a group of grown up club kids, passionate about dance music culture and the values it represents. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy, we respect the good vibes, and we strive for equality. Everyone is welcome here.
