Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club: what do users think?
Catherine Wang: The restaurant overlooks a beautiful golf course. It has a nice relaxing vibe and the staffs are very friendly. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. The rack of lamb has very little meat on it and it is overpowered by the vinegary sauce. The fish taco has no flavor. Of the three dishes we ordered, the garlic shrimps are the only one edible sadly.
Cary Feldstein: Ate lunch outside on the patio. Nice atmosphere. Good mix of shaded and full sun seating. We ordered two lakeside dips (beef dips). Very disappointed.
George Parada: Nice spot with a great restaurant. Amazing view !
Michael Bailey: Great food and gorgeous views of the resident eagles flying around as you eat, amazing place to just eat or golf and eat. Fantastic place yo hold a party for 50 to 180 people.
Lexxie Stiles: My mother has golfed here for 12 years. She questioned why there was a mandatory tip of %18 on a table of 4. She was going to tip anyway; just didn't agree with being forced into a tip of %18.She received an email today from the general manager stating that she was kicked out of the golf league. Didn't even call her to discuss the issue and get to the bottom of it. A ridiculous response from management. It likely could have been sorted and explained with a phone call but they didn't even bother with that. She has golfed here for YEARS and just kicked out. I will never recommend this golf course for anything.
Pete MacLean: Course was very nice, manicured well and nice tee boxes, fairways and greens.Lots of deep sand traps and they werent joking about the lakes.Overall i liked it but did find a little more expensive but would likely come back in future. $270 for 2 with a cartThe restauarant is very good as well
Rob Boyle: Mayfair Lakes Golf Course is one of the nicer courses in BC. It has held many major championships over the years and it is quite pleasant to play. As the name indicates, there are a few lakes on the property but if you play smart golf, you will avoid most of them. The conditioning is immaculate. By the way, the food is awesome -- I had one of the best clam chowders I have ever had. PS - Mayfair has a super practice range that is covered and heated. Love it ♥.
Dhrumil Thakar: Went for a business meeting and got a table for around 15-20 people (table was booked in advance). Good customer service and loved the pastries here.
mehtab tejani: Beautiful place I must say that...
임성운: 골프의 매력이 넘치는 코스
Daniel Bjornson: Love this course. If you have water seeking balls....stay away. Great restaurant also.
Ray Hou: Very good course, quite difficult and many water obstacles
David Chu (Wabbit): Not a great experience.
Noli San Buenaventura: Good people, food.
Brabby 250: Beautiful course, well fit for year round play if you can stay in the fairways. The only downside is, there are zero Marshalls keeping up the pace of play, most people that come here have zero golf etiquette, Get ready for a 5 hour 18.
Robert Fawcett: Great lunch yesterday at Mayfair Lakes. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the chicken quesideas and chicken teriyaki bowl. Only requests would be to have either an omelet or eggs benedict on the menu and hotter coffee.
Owen Lu: Great service from friendly staff. The food is excellent as well, try the lamb!
Bobby Randhawa: Nomial rates
L L: Great place, no wait dining option. If you like a more calm and quiet dining option, this is a great choice. Food quality is decent, can be better in term of controlling the cook time of the steak and lamb racks.
Gordie Ritz: The staff are awesome... great food at a good price
Kathleen Jones: Our annual Christmas luncheon was again beautifully displayed & served! Turkey dinner and all its trimmings, plus a Baron of Beef never fail to please the crowds. Plus Mayfair's venue is stunning. Being a golf course, one is surrounded by both the beauty and silence of Mother Nature - what better a backdrop?! Enjoy your heavenly moment!😇

The KidSafe Project Society: what do users think?
C Z: I absolutely love Kidsafe, they truly care about the children and go out of their way to create engaging, playful and educational environments. They are so considerate and supportive. They truly value diversity and inclusion and have been so patient with my son and his behavioural issues. They believe in these children with absolute compassion and understanding. Staff is well-versed in engaging activities for different ages, focusing on such a variety of subjects like life skills, education and creativity. Every day my son comes home now so excited to show me what he learned that day. This is something I value most in comparison to other places my son has attended. They do their best daily to create a positive and impactful future for children in a safe and loving environment and it shows in how my son has improved since attending. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you Kidsafe!
Sarah Trinh: I used to be a kid that attended KidSafe and a lot of the good memories in my childhood were because of KidSafe. I am now 27 years old and decided I wanted to be a part of what made my childhood so fun. I have been working for KidSafe for two years now for the after school program as well as the school break program and have to say, all of the staff care so much for the kids and do their very best to provide the kiddos with good experiences and a safe space to be themselves. Kidsafe ensures that there are options so the kids can all enjoy their time during the breaks and after school. On top of caring for the kids, KidSafe also helps the families by providing groceries and giving out toys and clothes that they get from donations. KidSafe is an amazing program for kids and it is also an amazing program to work for. The management team really care for the staff and check up on us a lot and when support is needed, they will always lend a hand. I am forever grateful to be a part of KidSafe both as a kid and as an adult!
Julia Nelson: I have worked at KidSafe for breaks and in the after school program for almost a year now and it has been absolutely amazing. My team cares deeply about the wonderful children we get to work with and provide them with a fun and safe space where they can play. We provide children with a supportive environment, a variety of options of activities and allow them to explore their interests and creativity. We are also very fortunate to get lots of donations of food, clothing and toys to give to children and their families. KidSafe is such a wonderful program and I am so grateful to be a part of it :)
Jeanne S: keep in mind alot of the reviews here with 5 stars are from staff themselves. theres a lack of formal training as if staff don't get much training themselves.
Munro Stuff: The staff are so great with kids, so caring. They make a real difference, and it's VERY much appreciated!! So grateful for their programs & services. :)
Sky Hayes: I do not recommend Kid Safe to any parent. The staffing ratios are not 10:1 like indicated on their website. Ratios tend to be more like 12-15 children for one single staff member which can be dangerous for the children and difficult for the staff to keep up and attend to every child. Management does not care if staff or children suffer because of this.
Ricardo Gavidia: This is one of the best programs for my kids, my kids have gone to the Thunderbird location and have helped us as parents a lot, the staff is very friendly and polite, many of my family members have tested positive with Covid-19 and the program brought us groceries which is one of the most wonderful gestures, makes our stress level to go down not to think how or where to get groceries because we all are at home in quarantine, we can't get out of the house. I don't have enough words to thank the staff. This is a blessing.
RBLXwithAnn: I go to Cunningham kidaafe and it's super fun I just wish we wouldn't play soccer dogeball every gum and also staff is very nice my fav staff is Ashley :D
Clarence Mitchell: Kid safe is an amazing program. My children have been attending for 15 years! Great staff and great way to spend the breaks from school.
Julianna Vittorio: I worked for this amazing organization for over 6.5 years. The staff and board members are some of the most amazing people I have had the privilege to work with. If the opportunity came available for me to come back in the future, I would definitely consider! The work they have been doing for inner-city youth in Vancouver for over 25 years is absolutely important in ensuring children have the opportunity to explore their community and thrive in our society.
Ms M: As part of my 20+ year career working with at risk children, youth and their families, I had the privilege of working with the Kidsafe program for 5 years and would happily recommend it to parents and school staff as an impeccable example of recreational programming. Although Kidsafe only offers programming to vulnerable students, this model could be used for any out of school program for all types of kids.To begin with, they provide 100% of kids’ nutritional needs while on site (breakfast, snacks, lunch) Food is cooked/prepared on site and always includes fresh vegetables and fruit with the occasional treat to keep food fun for kids. There is a balanced mix of on site and excursion recreation. Some days kids stay on site and play games, or have theme days, and others days are spent on Grouse Mountain, public pools, skating rinks, Science Centres etc. Further, Kidsafe supports academics by including activities in literacy, science, arts, physical education and more.Staff are committed to ensuring that participants both enjoy and learn though the programming and are dedicated to providing a mix of fun and learning experiences that is of particular value to students who struggle with academics and social emotional issues. Kidsafe keeps kids on track to be ready for the next term in school or the next school year.Other than school holiday programming, Kidsafe also backs extra-curricular support during the school year, as well as leadership programming and transitional programming, including fees, supplies and bus passes, to students on their way to high school.I really can’t say enough about how great these programs are. I continue to refer students to Kidsafe despite the fact that I no longer work in schools they typically service.
Nut FUNGUS: I have been a volunteer thanks to encouragement and thought this would be a wonderful time to volunteer. Throughout the experience most of the staff were: cruel, mean, heartless evil people who have no shred of sympathy towards the volunteers. I was around when some poor volunteer fell during a skating trip.Only 2 staff members (not including the coordinator) had the common sense to actually be helpful to the poor boy. The site coordinator just stood there gawking like he was some sort of disease, even telling him to "Just shake it off, it's just a sprain", the boy had to limp his way out the school afterwards, trying to apologize when in reality she should've done that in the first place. They promise that all the kids get "healthy meals" in reality there given an option of eating "marshmallow cereal", the main cook gives the kids "Nestea" on a daily basis instead of water and completely treat female volunteers get away with anything (piggybacks to kids, hugging, sitting in laps, etc) while if a boy ever tries too they instantly get scolded at, kids will bring there electrical devices (3ds's, ipads, tablets, phones) will use them DURING the program, no staff tries to do anything about it, completely ignoring the other children around them and ignore everything around them. The bullying that happens throughout the program, name calling, racism and swearing are just a few of the things that can happen during the sessions, a boy instantly swore at another girl when all she wanted to do was watch him play a card game with other people. In conclusion parents don't bring you're kids to this horrible program, kidsafe? More like kids will never BE safe if you bring them to this program.

ahmed Salem: They’re very helpful I admire Mustafa Ahmed as he helps me during the last seven years and I appreciate him a lot
usman rasheed: Do not use their translation service because it's not STIBC approved. I paid hundreds of dollars to get some documents translated from Arabic and Italian to English. Submitted one of the documents to passport Canada and they rejected it saying Mosaic is not an approved translator. So I will have to spend hundreds more get certified translations. More frustrating thing is that before using their service I enquired with them if they are certified and they said yes which I have in emails but when I sent email with this situation they didn't even bother to answer for a couple of months. How can they provide translation services if they're not even approved by STIBC (society of translators and interpreters of British Columbia) I wish I knew this before spending my hundreds of dollars here.
Carol Seto: The staff were super friendly and helpful!! Definitely want to come here for another project!! :)
Densil Wilks: Mosaic is an organization who helps immigrants all across Canada 🇨🇦
Iryna Shexira: Beautiful people meet us, and very help ! Thank you for helping
F Y: The interpreters leak the clients' privacy. I heard lots of stories. Be aware.I got a reply from Mosaic but it’s not true. They don’t care about the confidentiality and regularly leak the client’s privacy.
Moji Sal: I’m editing my review because of ms Chantelle. She was absolutely knowledge and caring.

Canadian Red Cross: what do users think?
Terry Vickers: What a pleasure dealing with this red cross. Very accommodating and very helpful in doing an exchange with a broken piece of equipment. Easy 5 star.
B L: They supplied me with everything I needed after a total knee replacement without charge. A doctor's request is all I needed. Great service, near downtown Vancouver.
Bill Vanderveen: Take your used items like crutches, walkers, scooters, etc and donate them. They will provide you with a tax receipt for the value of your donation to use on your tax return.
Vincent Lee: New experience for me. We were nervous about coming. The whole place is run by volunteers can you believe. They help us out and help us put the equipment we have on loan in our car. Thank you for you service 🙂
Columbia Queenbee: Very difficult interaction with staff here. I returned a raised toilet seat to exchange it for one that fit our toilet and was repeatedly refused service without another prescription through VCH which could take daysss. Absolutely no understanding or acknowledgement of the need for a raised toilet seat for someone who had just been released from hospital after having a full knee replacement. Please explain to me why I couldn't exchange the wrong toilet seat for the right toilet seat. This is not service. This is outright refusal to consider the needs of the user.If the Red Cross here in Vancouver treat people the way the staff member treated me in what should have been a simple situation, how do they treat people they are supposed to be supporting in countries who are experiencing devastation? How do donors - like my family - know what the Red Cross is doing with our money when it appears that their mandate is to decide who needs what and when whether or not it relates to the needs of the user?
Safa Teimouri: Thank God for the amazing staff at Canadian Red Cross, very helpful. God Bless you all.
Gareth Llewellyn: Courteous. Were able to provide the needed equipment at short notice.Took time to show me how to use the equipment and to help me stow it in the car.
shahnaz akoy: I appreciate for all equipments which u gave me for about one week after my surgery.Great service , great people , and great hearts.God save you.
Connie Hammick: Friendly staff. Very helpful
Mary Schoening: Very helpful and pleasant 😊A good experience.
Andrew & Louise: Loaned us a kid wheelchair for 2 months that was in fantastic shape. What a great service!
Barry Welford: Good service in every respect
vince disalvo: Very helpful staff
Shelly Ingram: Iam disabled and can no longer walk I have long past forth stage COPD and breathing is a terrifying problem most days suffocating into unconscious is the most terrifying way to go so anyways iam permanently in a chair and they said I could only have it for six months!! And hounded me non stop to return it so shortly after it broke and I needed a new wheel chair same deal constant harrassment to return it after six months!! I've heard stories from Africa and other countries of the great things the red cross do but as many times as I've asked them for help not once have I gotten anything that was helpful !! How is that in this country of privilege Canadians can't receive the slightest bit of help except for a blanket or so and yet in Africa they perform surgery's and provide bone replacement and transplants and housing food and furniture but here nothing I think the CEO's stick there greedy hands so deep into the pot and take that there's nothing left for people who really badly need help, and never get it!!??????! Why
Neil Allen: Great program. I phoned ahead but still needed to wait a while for my product. The information sheet provided all the information I needed for the installation. Loan program is ninety days. Plus easy drop off.
Jose Carlos: Needed a wheelchair for my mom and were helpful providing one for her use
Rose Joseph: Phoned ahead to confirm a pick up of medical supplies for my daughter and they had it ready when I arrived. Thanks 😊
Ray Jang: Friendly staff, who are attentive and kind. The equipment we borrowed was in excellent condition and clean. Great COVID-19 safety protocols. This is a great service in our community.
James Zickmantel: If you have a referal they are able to help. Thanks to the team at CRC!
Lyndall Mccormack: Dropped off a loaned item in the conveniently placed return tub outside their office, totally contactless and painless!
Mr. Cole Gallant: Aw, I love the red cross!

Keli Gletsu: I was there to pick up some great equipment, for my frail and elderly 93 year old grandma. She has fallen 3 times recently, and she still lives in her own home. Alone.A very helpful physio therapist strongly recommended different equipment, that the Red Cross would kindly loan us, to hopefully lessen her risk of falling again. Therefore, also allowing her to remain independentMy grandma could not believe these expensive things, were not going to cost her anything, that all of it are free of charge, for the next few months.I have never had to access the Red Cross before, and I am blown away, by what a life saving organization it is.I now regularly donate to them.Everyone that can, really should as well.

Robert Lee YMCA: what do users think?
Eddie C: Been going here for years, absolutely love the place. Incredibly well kept facilities, pleasant staff, great range of classes, workout areas and equipment. 10/10.
Victor Tsang: Friendly staffs, clean gym and equipment.
E T: YMCA is a very white and calm place to go for a workout or swim! Very clean!!!! Highly recommended!!!
Nigel Kellett: Great facility for fitness and swimming and .... check the web site. Prices may seem high but are a very good value.
Scarlett Abagi: I love the gym but they should add some more machines since it can get pretty full :) please add another smith machine!!!!
Alan: Nice variety of equipment that is well maintained. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy my workout here and love the variety of cardio equipment.But... thing is now that covid is over, its turning back into a zoo gym. Getting busier and busier all day, every day - morning, noon, early afternoon, evening, no matter which time you go, there's no avoiding the crowds. Usually have to wait a while for equipment most times which is a bummer. It's too bad as I live near this place and it's really convenient. Also, good luck getting into any yoga classes. They release the time slots at midnight every night and get taken up within seconds. Even the waiting list gets taken up. For those that aren't up that late, it's a little unfair.Ultimately, I might look into a different gym if it gets busier than it is.Update:After giving this gym a fair chance and trying different hours (morning, late morning and mid day) you can never win with the crowds here. It's gotten so bad that you'll be lucky to be able to complete a full workout due to all the floor space, machines and racks being used up (with a line to get on each area). Even if your patient and wait your turn for a machine, people will hound you during your set making you feel rushed. Sure, its got good equipment but what's the point in having great equipment if you can never use it!The YMCA charges way too much for being a zoo gym and can't justify the cost. Will never understand how people give places like these good reviews. They really seem love paying high prices for waiting in lines in overcrowded places.
Thiago Diniz: Great pricing for what it offers. Gym, swimming pool, basketball, badminton and much more.
Ryan Colson: An excellent facility with a very large range of amenities. I enjoyed my visit here and wish I had a similar facility here in Australia
Sebastian Ankiel: Good gym but hardly anyone at the gym desk to help out. Seems understaffed, especially at peak hours. My review will change when they decide to actually have adequate staff during busy periods.Edit: seems like some more people are on the floor currently.
Joel White: I joined the Robert Lee YMCA a couple months ago for the pool, and I just love the place. The environment is great and the pool is kept clean and organized. Above all, the lifeguard staff are what make the place so special. They're all well-trained, supportive and friendly. I've never had such a good time getting in shape. Whatever they're getting paid, it's not enough. Many thanks to the lifeguards!
Haman Raza: Amazing gym and very clean building. One huge request from management though. Please open at least one squash court. Not many places in the city have a squash court and its barely used by others for working out. Would be amazing if we can use it again like in 2019.Thank you :)
Rob S: They need to start emailing Plus members when the hot tub is closed. Some of us travel long distances to this location and I wouldn’t if I knew none of the amenities are available. Of course the steam room has been closed an insanely long time and no financial concessions have been made to members despite not getting what we paid for.
Gochu Shaker: Crowded but services and machines are nice
Lea S: I love this gym! For $28 dollars a month it is so accessible to so many in Vancouver. 🏼 the facilities are pretty good! It’s lovely that spin classes are offered here, yoga classes and volleyball. My suggestions would be: the dance classes take up the large gymnasium and have very few people who attend, and the yoga classes are always FULLY booked… can those swap locations so more people can attend yoga? Also, there are so many gym times for basketball and 1 volleyball session a week that isn’t at 6am… would it be possible to create more time for volleyball because every Friday it is packed and you hardly get any playing time in! Thanks :)
XJDUB: Beware of this organization's membership cancellation money scam. Members wishing to cancel their membership, subsequent to placing it on hold in response to the suspension of available facility services, who are unable to resume visitation as a result of services still being unavailable 16 weeks later, will have to make 2 payments before their membership is canceled. One at the end of the hold period, and another 14 days later (1 day before the 15-day hold cancellation requirement is met). For Men's Plus members that amounts to over $100 for nothing.
Yuri Kolodi: Amazing
Rahul Deshpande: I just joined this gym. Its actually super nice. Plenty of space, lots of machines. Great price given the space and amenities. Lockers also come with a key so u don't have to bring one. Quite a bit of weight sets so you don't have to wait on sets to be available.
A. Jafari: Too crowded! And they still resist going to their pre-pandemic hours. All popular activities are over crowded and you don't get a chance to register. For instance, Volleyball and Badminton! I am looking into find available spots in Community Centres and will eventually drop my membership with YMCA...
Bill Rosmus: Hours are too limited. It closes too early, especially on weekends. Pool hours are very limited. It is relatively expensive at around $80/month general membership for the hours it operates. Parking is very very limited and expensive and the city, while not the fault of the YMCA, continues to make it more so. It used to be much better in all these regards.
Tom Bond: The best private volunteer service I found in Vancouver. Visited many of them. Al least the best under 30 years with programs and offers they have. Very thankful for them )
Armin Hyzen: The steam room has been closed over a year and they are still charging the same amount? Like wthell?
