Samson Shirt & Suitmakers: what do users think?
Ian L.: I've known Steve for a few years now - initially during my formative years when I didn't know any better and had ordered a suit from Indochino (and subsequently enlisted Steve's abilities to fix!) to now having Steve look after me and my groomsmen at my wedding. Long story short - Steve made a gorgeous suit for me and absolutely nailed the fit and finish; while my wife was the star of the evening, I looked every bit the part (in a classy, complimentary way) and felt amazing in my custom suit. If you have an eye for well-fitted, made-to-measure or bespoke menswear that is timeless in style, Steve is your man. He'll give you his time and honest advice to get you looking your best. A word of advice: give yourself enough time before your big day; the process of finding the right fit and finish is iterative - some would say an artform - so expect several visits, because Steve will give you his time to make sure the fit is perfect. I highly recommend Steve's expertise and services!Services:Formal wear tailoring,Design,Custom made clothing,Shirt tailoring,Coat jacket alterations,Men's clothing alterations
Amir S: I got a dress shirt shortened by Steve and he’s very friendly. The shirt looks greatService:Alterations
Marcus Drewry: I came to Steve for help creating a new suit that I could wear for an upcoming wedding, and I was thoroughly impressed with the service he provided in walking me through every detail of the design process. I had never had a custom suit before and didn't know exactly what I wanted but through our consultation we developed something that fit all my needs and I was excited to wear. The end result was a beautiful (and comfortable) suit that exceeded my expectations, all on a very reasonable budget.I highly recommend Samsons and will definitely be coming back for all my future custom menswear.Services:Custom made clothing,Suit tailoring
Kevin Zhao: For my wedding, Steve made tailored suits for myself and my groomsmen. He taught us about what a proper jacket and pant should be, with a focus on appearance and comfort/function. He listened to what we were looking for and was not shy to provide his expert opinion, which I valued. The product was the best suit that any of us have owned. The suits looked great but I was most impressed by the comfort. A well-made tailored suit truly feels different. I have since had another suit recut by him as well as shirts and slacks. I highly recommend Steve, his service and his product. I will be a repeat customer in the future.
Jason Mohr: Visiting Samson Shirt & Suitmakers was an incredibly productive experience. After introducing himself, Steve, a very knowledgeable tailor, helped me develop a concept for my wardrobe. Though I have past experience with design Steve did an excellent job of translating my concept into a realistic, budget friendly, and attainable reality. When I asked for his opinion on the decisions I was making he shared his honest thoughts, as well as valuable input on why or why not certain products and materials may or may not work well with my lifestyle and work space.Let's face it, entering a business with an idea and no clue where to start can be daunting, though Steve made this experience a breeze. After visiting Samson Shirt & Suitmakers, I feel that I have a trusted adviser in Steve.
James Sutcliffe: Steve fitted me for a custom suit and and did a fantastic job all the way through the process. He took the time to show and discuss a number cloths and patterns to work with, and then followed through to a final product that looks and feels great!
Thomas Girard: Great stuff here.. I really wanted a black suit jacket, a kind of all purpose thing. From the fabric to the story, the piece arrived - beyond what I could imagine. Felt a thousand times better after. Shop here!
Chris bryant: Best suit I have ever had the pleasure of being dressed with. Unparalleled materials and tailoring. Yes...he is a little bit of a character, as are most all of the highly creative people in my life.30 years is a long time to wake up each day and smile at the clothes made by this man.
Matt N: Alteration Testimony: I purchased a 'custom measured' suit when I was in China and the sizing was all off, the arms in the jacket was too tight, chest and mid section was too wide. This was back in January 2020, and I didn't want to ship it back to get it altered. I had heard about Steve from a friend and also looking around online. There were terms and concepts clearly shown from his years of experience, but more importantly he made me feel SO GOOD in the suit when he was done fixing it. Total costs to fix were about the same price as a new suit (understandable given the time needed to fix it), but I liked the colour and texture already, and there's 0 point to wearing a suit if you're not going to feel your best :) Thanks Steve!Services:Alterations,General repairs
Roy Scott: Steve was awesome to deal with. Offered suggestions for colors/materials that would compliment my odd little shape. Delivered on time as promised and fit was very good. I am very satisfied with the product and the service and will be back again and again. Thanxx Steve.Service:Design
Jeremy P: What once was a suit shop I would recommend, I can no longer. Unless you wish to have your suit come with a side of “Qanon Weekly Newsletter”, I wouldn’t come here.Do not give him your email.
Jamie Buis: Positive:QualityI received a suit as a present and after much research my wife found Steve online. Steve helped design the perfect suit for me and after several visits he got the fit correct and the suit fits me beautifully. Thank you so much Steve!Service:Design
Dean T: Overall, this was a bad customer experience. Not only was the workmanship and the ability of this person was in question but his social skills need some work. Pelman was always regurgitating some facts he heard from some obscure online media sites and talking about his political views during our fitting sessions and it got annoying. He would talk so much and get so worked up that he would forget to write things down or take down my requests or measurements. There was no focus or attention to detail in his work. As a result, whenever I came in for a fitting, there was always something not done, overlooked, or something he forgot to do.Even after waiting almost 6 months and coming to his shop for FIVE fittings, here are some things that are still wrong with the jacket:-The jacket is now too small around the waist and seat.-One front panel is longer than the other by a quarter to half an each.-The sleeves are now too short.-Remnants of chalk markings on the garmentI would gladly pay someone else to work on this garment and fix his mistakes just so that I don’t have to deal with someone as loathsome as Pelman. I will get someone else to work on the jacket and bring it up to my specifications.Needless to say, I will not be getting my three-piece wedding suit made with this man. The number of mistakes he made and the amount of time it took for him to fix them were too many. If I had ordered my wedding suit from him, it would have taken longer and maybe not be finished in time for my wedding. If you want a suit made, avoid this place and don’t waste your time and money.Services:Design,Alterations
Adeel Khan: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueSteve made me the best custom suit I could possibly have imagined.I sent him a few pictures and a description, made an appointment and he completely understood my concept and made it reality. I wouldn't recommend anyone else!Service:Design
Jamie Hennessy: Great tailor, nice guy. A nice pair of tailored slacks is way better than a suit.
C B: I came across Samson's while searching online for a place to purchase a made to measure suit for my daughter's wedding this coming fall. I watched Steve's YouTube videos on his website and I was intrigued. When I called to make an appointment Steve did offer to do an online consultation because I live 130 kilometers away but I wanted the first hand experience.I met Steve at his store and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process of choosing the fabric for the suit, fabric for the inner panels and lining and the buttons. I haven't received the finished suit yet but I'm confident that I won't be disappointed. If you're in the market for a new garment for your wardrobe at a fair price I highly recommend Steve at Samson's.Thank you Steve, it was a pleasure doing business with you. I'm looking forward to meeting again when the suit arrives.
Tom Bremner: I first came to Steve after having an underwhelming experience with one of those $500 custom suit chains. And, boy, was I happy to find him. He's been my go-to suit and shirt maker ever since. Can't recommend him more strongly.
Nic Sun: I first visited Samson to get my existing suit checked for fitting/alterations about a month prior to my wedding. It was a suit I had purchased while traveling in Vietnam, which I thought was pretty good at the time, but something about it just didn't seem totally right, it didn't feel "groom-worthy". The material was pretty good, construction seemed OK to me, but the shape and fit just wasn't quite there. Steve showed me what separated that suit from a properly shaped suit. The difference was very apparent. He offered to help me out in light of my situation, saying he could have a new suit made to measure and delivered within 3 weeks. He offered a very reasonable price which was appreciated as I wasn't really expecting to buy a new suit that day. In the end, Steve presented me with a beautiful classic 3-piece suit that looks and feels great. We worked together to pair it with the right bowtie, and he helped me choose the best ties for the groomsmen as well. Steve takes great pride in his craft, is eager to share his knowledge, and takes time to express his philosophy on the importance of dressing well in modern society - something you may not get in most sales/service interactions, but I feel is appropriate for the personal nature of his business.I will be returning to Samson the next time I need a classic garment made, and would recommend him to any tasteful man looking to invest in quality menswear at a fair price.UPDATE: Returned again a year later to have a sports jacket made. It was a very easy process as Samson already had my measurements from my last suit. I went with their new lightweight canvas construction. The result is a beautifully shaped jacket that remains comfortable and conforms to the body naturally. The Donegal tweed is wearable almost year-round makes for a very versatile piece which I will no doubt wear very often! As always Steve provided great service and quality product at a fair price. Even amidst the COVID slowdown, he was readily available and delivered on time. Thanks again!
David Biesok: I very highly recommend this shop. Steve is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I had brought in some suits that I took to a tailor that seemed to make them more ill-fitting. Steve knew exactly why the pants weren’t fitting and suggested a few simple fixes that made a world of difference. I had initially paid to have the seat taken out per his advice, and when that wasn’t enough, he also added some strips in the thigh and then redid the legs and hem that the previous tailor had done, and he didn’t charge me for the additional work! Steve cares that you look good and feel confident in your suits above all else. While these were off the rack, I’m definitely going to have a suit made by Steve next time. I’m excited to see the difference.
Adam Tuck: Steve fit me for a custom suit for my wedding last summer. It’s the first suit I’ve had fitted in years, and I was searching for a business that would have a bit more of a personal touch. I’m so glad I came across Samson when I was shopping around. Steve gave expert advice and work was quick and professional. He also helped with a custom shirt in addition to the three piece suit. The fit is perfect and incredibly comfortable. I looked sharp for the wedding day and I love wearing the clothes for other dressy occasions. I highly recommend his work, and will definitely be going back again to treat myself with more quality clothes.
raymond: I made an appointment and visited Steve when in Vancouver for meetings last January as I had been wanting to get a fully canvassed suit for some time. Steve spent the time to ensure I got the suit I wanted. He shipped the suit to me within 5 weeks and after 5 minutes hanging in a steamy bathroom I put it on and it looked terrific. It feels good wearing this suit, the fit, fabric, and style are wonderful. It is an experience working with Steve that is challenging and rewarding and about more than a piece of clothing. Looking forward to checking in at the end of the month if possible.

Indochino: what do users think?
Dave Weaver: Had a great first visit to Indochino. Was very well taken care of, can’t wait to see the fit and the results.
arthur andrews: Nice suit but way over priced. All suits come from a factory in China. Suit was “custom” but when it came, was way too small. Took to local seamstress and she said everyone who brings and indochino suit is either way to big, or tiny. Find a local suit company and avoid buying from China.
Benjie Agovida: Good customer service.
Daniel Alphonso: Excellent service! Makka fit me very well. My pants were a little tight at the waist when they arrived but I took them in and got them altered in 30 mins. Did not expect that!
Justin Wong: I heard great things about Indochino, but after receiving my 2 suits my experience has been anything but good. The knitting and fit wasn’t done well on my arms, the waist is too tight, and the material overall wasn’t satisfying. When I did the fitting, the staff claimed they have their own shop in China but it seems like it was outsourced to a 3rd party as all my requests didn’t turn out the way I expected it to.
Andrew M: I received excellent customer service from Nadish at the Vancouver location. Thanks Nadish!
Eric Schibli: I ordered a suit from Indochino and I was satisfied with the quality and fit, eventually. It arrived nowhere near the correct measurements, and required a full remake - which arrived deeply creased. It took me over a month to get any customer support, but eventually, they had it pressed for me. Good thing I wasn't in a rush, because it took me over three months to get a wearable suit, but It looked good and felt comfortable. I don't wear suits often, so I didn't have any issues with it. However, when I decided to order three pairs of trousers for work, that was another story, as, as they completely failed to stand up to regular wear, sagging and warping around every seem within weeks. Even the hem on one pair completely fell apart! Indochino seems to be well aware of their lack of durability, because they only address quality issues within 10 days of delivery.I think this is unacceptable. Indochino claims to offer high-quality made-to-order clothing, but they don't back it up with good customer service or durable materials construction. They are fine if you want a suit for a single occasion, but don't expect anything more from them. I would not recommend them to anyone who values their money and their wardrobe.
Tung Ha: I heard about Indochino through the Art of Manliness podcast a few years ago. It live in Bellingham, WA, but it is easier for me to get to BC, Canada than Seattle, WA. I scheduled an appointment online. After getting measurements, I chose the material, and customized the cut and details of the suit. All in all, it was a fun process. Since my measurements are on my profile, I can order future suits and shirts from the website. I'm looking forward to trying on the suits.
Mike Wilby: Excellent
Jeff Thompson: Poor quality and finish. Would not recommend.
Farzad Daei: I had the pleasure of having my last look and alternations appointment with Shadi. She went above and beyond and I really appreciate the advice she provided along the way.
Kyle Fuzi: I ordered 3 business shirts from Indochino in a white stretch cotton fabric. The shirts arrived and did not fit as expected and alterations would not fix all of the issues so they were going to remake them. No problem, I’m happy they will remake them as per their Fit Promise. They emailed me to let me know they ran out of stock of that particular fabric and asked if there was any other fabric I liked that could be a good substitute. There wasn’t as the white stretch cotton was the only stretch in white that they have and what I find most comfortable. Being that they couldn’t fulfill my order and they had no idea when that particular fabric would be in stock they said they’d give me store credit. I asked for a refund as that fabric was the only reason I ordered anything from Indochino in the first place. They refused, essentially stealing from me. I will never again order from them and will recommend colleagues and friends to stay clear. I’ll also be taking this up with Visa to get my money back.
James: Terrible fit and terrible customer service. I would have been better off buying something off the shelf. Sleeves were too short, jacket way too long. Pants are baggy. A supper awkward cut with obviously no quality control or human oversight. Just garbage pumped out of china. My tailor said it would be over $200 to try and fix it if he even could. They refuse to honor their fit promise and now just ignore my emails. They wont alter the suit themselves nor do a remake. avoid at all costs.
Peter Nico: By far this is the worst retail experience I have ever had. I have no idea how this place stays in business. You sell custom suits and you don't have any examples on hand to show people. You wanted me to use my imagination on how it's going to look and wait 5 weeks to see if it works and then another 3 if it needs alterations. Save yourself the pain people, just go to Moores.
Haj Brar: Exceptional service by Brandon and his team in Yaletown. We appreciated the feedback, honest advice and humour. We had an excellent experience!!
Derek Lionas: Really like coming here. They make great suits, but having them measure you up really makes the difference. I’ve got three suits from here now and had multiple altered to fit just perfect. Can’t beat the deal and the quality
Jason: Terrible shopping experience in their showroom and terrible consumer service. I sent them emails concerning my order several month ago and they never wrote me back. The price was too high and the package came damaged. Not recommended.
Brandon Lee: Nadish and his team were extremely helpful in getting me the perfect suit for my wedding. I’m a very indecisive person and they were patient with me the whole way through the process, from fabric selections to measurements to customization.Highly recommend!
Jared Nilsson: Ankesh and Nadish, professionals and gentlemen. They were well spoken and know how to fit a suit properly. I will be going back to this store again for future purchases.
Cory Sivell: Great service and fun
Phillip Ahn: Ankesh is great

Surmesur Custom Menswear: what do users think?
Brandon Evtushevski: I usually don't leave reviews, but this deserves one.If you want individualized service, attention to detail, and a professional team to help you find your new suit, look no further. The money spent is well worth it. In a post-covid world, where customer service seems to be dead everywhere else, these guys go above & beyond. Special shout out to William & Zachary for being absolute professionals in the industry. I'll be back, for sure.
Andy Barber: Great experience both online and in person with Carly. Great service and attention to detail. I live 2500km away from the nearest store but the Facetime consult went great. Clothes fit amazing and good quality. Highly recommend !
Shawn Hood: William and team are skilled and friendly. I have several suits from this location and am very happy.
Taha Khaldi: Working with Hanan was splendid and felt like a royal treatment! From picking the tuxedo jacket style and colour, to fittings – she did everything impeccably and with class! Surmesur provides a unique assortment of fabrics, tuxedo styles, and options. But Hanan really went above and beyond when I requested a really unique cream jacket, she created an overall look that ended up even better than the picture reference I provided her. Thank you very much.
Eugene Burlando: Hanan is fantastic and makes great designs. Whenever I go in she is ready and very patient with all the questions and requests I have. Highly recommend surmesur in vancouver if your looking for some unique pieces.
Shb Sam: My experience with Surmesur started summer of 2020 when I went in for a pair of suits and it worked out well. Extensive collection of fabrics. Measurements were done properly and the final product after going through 3-4 alterations looks sharp and gets compliments everywhere.Happy with my first order, I ordered more shirts (some casual, some formal) and more pants: the quality, experience and final finish has been good. For the price point you will be getting a well made product.Only complaint is the amount of time it takes for the alterations and on few occasions they did not get it right, so I had to take them to my own tailor which is not ideal given that you pay for a made-to-measure, not a made-to-do-final alterations-by-your-own-tailor. Overall an a decent experience, but Surmesur needs to do something about the alterations work they do in Vancouver. I'm sure something can be done.
Jonny Warkentin: Booked a consultation with their stylist Hanan, who guided me through the process of creating my own customized suit jacket and dress shirts. Highly recommend this place, had a fantastic experience!
Kat Perrotta: My wife has had five bespoke pieces made and tailored here, and she only ever has positive things to say. Zachary and Will have always been so sunny and kind, informative, and supportive throughout the whole process from picking colours, fabrics, fit, all the way down to the buttons. She's absolutely ready to return for more exceptional pieces!
Troy Newman: Every single visit, Johnny ensures I leave looking sharp whether it be a new suit or adding new dress shirts to the rotation.I won’t shop for a suit any where else. Thanks Johnny !
Jen C: Really great service. Had a wonderful experience getting custom dress shirts and a three piece suit
Justin Tillyer: Needed to have my first ever custom suit made for my wedding and a friend said Surmesur was the place to go. Not only did they turn out to be the most affordable option that I could find in Vancouver, but they seemed to have far more customization available and way better customer service than other places. I really appreciated Zachary's help, which made the entire experience a breeze (a big deal, considering I have zero fashion sense and that shopping for clothes stresses me out). He did a great job of letting me know what options were available, but never tried to upsell me on anything, which meant that I didn’t feel any pressure and could just rely on his opinion of what would look good when I asked for it. In the end, I ended up with exactly what I was looking for, which was a fantastic, high quality suit for the day of my wedding, but something that could also be worn for other occasions. Zachary was also instrumental in helping me pick accessories to match my suit for my wedding, even when I brought them in from other stores. Will absolutely be back to Surmesur soon, whether it’s to buy custom shirts or another suit and would highly recommend them to anyone. Definitely see if you can book in with Zachary, although the rest of the staff were also super friendly while I was in there.
Kirk Chantraine: Really great service (thanks Ryan!) and love the suit that I had made. We pushed it to be quite unique and I couldn't be happier. Definitely an educational experience, but an open minded and well informed one.
Kory Hu: I would rate this establishment 0 stars if possible. I came in early May to order a custom suit and custom shoes for my Aug 6 wedding and was told by Ryan everything would be done before then with no issues. I had everything measured and assumed the suit and shoes would come almost perfectly fitting as it was all going to be custom made. I had come to Surmesur as I had heard it would be better quality and customer service compared to Indochino. My first fitting when my suit arrived was in early July without my shoes. The suit jacket and vest were huge and Ryan spent most of the time making alterations to these 2 pieces. I was told that I would be contacted around July 23 for the final fitting. The shoes had yet to arrive and Ryan said he would follow up. A week before my wedding on July 29, I still had not been contacted for a final fitting. I called the store and they had still not received my shoes (with 0 followup) and my suit was not even altered. They told me it would be done Aug 4 - 2 days before my wedding. I asked for an earlier completion date and they agreed on Aug 2. A few days later I was called and told my suit would not be done on Aug 2 because of the long weekend and I would have to come back on Aug 3. I come to this appointment with my fiance and mom and they pointed out how ill-fitting the pants were. Ryan had not made any adjustments during the 1st fitting and I had not noticed because we were so busy focusing on the ill-fitting jacket and vest. I'd like to point out that it also isn't my job to make sure my suit is fitted - this is why I am coming to a store which makes custom suits. Will, who is assisting me at this appointment, gets the master tailor to come help at this point. He makes so many adjustments that it is almost as if it a brand new suit. At first Will wasn't sure it would be completed before my wedding, but luckily the master tailor promised that it would be done on Aug 5 at 4pm - less than 24 hours before my wedding. At this point, the shoes had arrived but they did not fit my feet. I couldn't walk 1 step without my feet slipping out of the shoes. I now also had to buy new dress shoes 2 days before my wedding. We let Will know we were disappointed in the service and he agreed to refund the shoes (which we did not take) and to offer us store credit for the inconvenience. It is now Aug 19 and I still have yet to receive a refund from Will. I have contacted him multiple times since the day he has offered this refund (Aug 3). I am not sure why I have to follow up with the store multiple times to receive a $480 refund for a product I did not ever receive which I had paid for in May. For a business saying they were trying to rectify a negative experience for a customer, absolutely no effort was made. I never even followed up on the store credit which was offered to me as I will never return nor recommend anyone to come to this establishment in the future. Overall, this experience only added stress to the most important day in my life and I am still wasting time and energy following up on a refund 2 weeks after my wedding. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Anthony Siu: My wedding suit experience at Surmesur was a 5 star experience. Will and Ryan took amazing care of me, my dad, and best man from start to finish and we are so incredibly happy with our suits and service. They were incredibly accommodating to changes and alterations, and made every effort to ensure our suits were perfect. Surmesur blows every other competitor out of the water and I guarantee you'll love their suits and staff just as much as we did! Thanks Will and Ryan!
Braeden Pistawka: I recently shopped here to have a tux done for my wedding. Over the last three months I’ve worked with Zach and I could not recommend him and this establishment more. Throughout the process he was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to all detail. Their product speaks for itself and the tux and tailoring that came with it was tremendous. Thanks for everything Zach.
Jessica Yoon: My husband got his custom made suit for our wedding from Surmesur, and he had an amazing experience from beginning to end. William is a consummate professional - knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly an expert at what he does. He made the experience fun and enjoyable, and we appreciate that he wasn't pushy. We couldn't recommend this business enough.
Benjamin Jacuk: I feel like I got the royal treatment at Surmesur Vancouver. I was buying a suit for my sister's wedding and had an awesome first experience with Ryan. He gave me lots of insightful advice in choosing options for the suit that would look best. I'm generally indecisive on stuff like this, so it was helpful to have him guide me through the process.I returned a few weeks later for my fitting with Johnny. The first thing I noticed about Johnny was that he had some type of SWAG in the way he was dressed. He seemed like the type of guy I would enjoy drinking a whisky or two with. I felt like I was in good hands with him and he too was helpful. Finally, I returned once more to pick up the suit and was helped by Zach, who brought it home with another enjoyable experience . The suit fit great and felt amazing. It's a real treat getting a custom suit made, my recommendation is you do it the right way and go see the guys at Surmesur.
shantelle bartido: A friend of mine recommended Surmesur to get a custom made suit. I booked an appointment with William for my fiancé for his reception outfit and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the end result! He was super helpful throughout the whole process and communication was amazing when it came to ordering the outfit/shoes. Definitely recommend coming to Surmesur for your own custom made suit and highly recommend William!
Samuel Wu: Will is such a great consultant that he made the process super easy.Took my wants into consideration and then upgraded it! Will be uploading photos when I receive the suit!
Colten Gale: Amazing service and impeccable products. The staff and quality at Surmesur are beyond your highest expectations.Building the perfect/personal suit is something every man should experience at least once in their lifetime, and Surmesur is the place to get that done.
Howard Hu: I had my custom tuxedo for my wedding created at Surmesur. The quality of the materials is definitely much better quality and stylish compared to many other stores I have been to. Zachary was my go to person at this store to help me with alterations and make sure my tuxedo was everything I wanted. Zachary was a pleasure to work with, very professional and gave great suggestions for the alterations needed for the tuxedo to fit my figure. I am very pleased with the result and finish my of tuxedo. I would highly recommend seeing Zachary for any custom suit needs. Thank you for the amazing experience, I will be back for future suit related needs!

Joyce Station Tailors & Dry Cleaner - Vancouver: what do users think?
Kate Tung: I did some overdue dry cleaning here right before a move last week, very happy with how friendly and professional the store manager was despite the big, disorganized bundle of duvet and winter clothing I dropped in with. The rates were very reasonable, and I got everything back in tip top shape (including cashmere, wool and feather down items). Would definitely visit again even though I now live further away from this place than before!
La Ungida: Staff is attentiveConvenient location
Jay Ho: Always do a fantastic job with my clothes quick service
Snazzy lazy: I really loved my experience! This past summer.... wowI took my really old but still awesome Oakley cycling shorts, to get the zippers replaced. The lady said no problems and took it, got the job done in a very reasonably amount of time. She also fixed the rip that i just got, embroidered a Nice design on top of the rip and now its really secure. The nice design Kind of looks like a stealth b-52 bomber its in the photo if you can see it 🤑 I love people that have passion for their business cause it shows. Thanks 🙏Services:Embroidery,Zipper replacement
Merz604: Decent place but expensive and slow.
Alex Macabu: Took my jacket for a repair and the service was impeccable! I can't tell were the ripped was ! Very good!

Mike Lee: Good service
T W: I brought in my utility work vest for a replacement zipper and was able to get it back same day, good as new.Quality work, premium service, and reasonably priced. A delightful experience all around.5-stars, 10/10, will do business again. :)Service:Alterations
Jason Campbell: Very good experience. I needed a pair of jeans hemmed. You have the option of a new hem (for $12) or keeping the old hem (a bit more expensive). I got the jeans back in 5 days and the new hem looks great. I'll definitely be back for any alteration work in the future.
Antonio Callà: I had sleeves shortened on a jacket. Beautiful work, quick turnaround, and a reasonable price.
Audrey: I had a great experience here! Needed a dress tailored for an upcoming wedding event and the fixes were nicely done. Lan gave great advice on how the dress can fit better on me.
Jesse Ngosa,RSE,FSR B: Excellent service and great customer service.
Mamtha Nagaraja: Very friendly staff! 😊 and good turn around time
Berena Kular: Horrible customer service accepted my pants and then when I come in she told me she can’t do anything and I’m a lying customer. Told me to never show my face again in her company. Never go here the lady is horrible and disgusting. If you’re petite never come to her because she will take your money first and not do the pants correctly. Her attitude is so bad and she just wants your money. No customer service yelling at customers faces.Does not care if her customers are happy or not just wants money.Service:Alterations
Frederick Qualley: Great place! Prices are reasonable. Service is super friendly.
Siu Hong Lum: A local place to bring my dry cleaning and alterations. The only thing to worry is trying to find parking on the same side of the street since there are so many vehicles parked there.
Guillermo Sanchez: Good and affordable service
Andrew Coelho: I can't recommend this place. They made a mistake doing an alteration and wanted me to pay half to fix it. Owner accused me of changing my mind. If they're not going to do the right thing I have little recourse other than posting about it and moving on. Can’t imagine this type of thing generates a lot of repeat business.Service:Alterations

Modernize Tailors: what do users think?
Neek Davy: Extremely thankful for Modernize Tailors. They tailored my suit beautifully! Tailored the suit jacket, paints and shirt. They then saved the day by making adjustments to my wife’s dress. Not only did they save us upwards of a thousand dollars on the dress alone, they were extremely time efficient and the customer service was amazing! Highly recommend
B Patterson: Mia and her team are excellent tailors - the best I've ever worked with. They expertly altered my Prince Charlie and Argyle jackets and vests making off-the-rack look custom tailored. I have no hesitation in providing the highest recommendation for them.Service:Men's clothing alterations
Joyce Robinson: Excited
Matt Williams: Grade A friendly service even when you show up hilariously uniformed yourself
Amelia Sun: The dress was too long for me, they cut it perfectly, nice and clean, look like brand new. Thanks so much! The lady I was talking to is very friendly and helpful, highly recommend their service!
Stephen Millen: Always quality work, easy to deal with, ready when scheduled
Ralf Maynard: I accidentally bumped into this place whilst looking for someone to do alterations on a pair of new jeans. Modernize does not do alterations to denim, however, they deal with high end, classic, antique fabrics. If you're looking for a company who will care for your great grandma's wedding dress Modernize is the place for you!
CA W: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI bought several masks from here and asked for unique alterations to each and Mia was incredibly responsive and helpful with getting the alterations done and getting them to my house quickly! Super great service, the masks fit excellently, exactly how I want, would highly recommend.Services:Alterations,Design
Fred Strong: Critical:QualityMy experience is based on alternation: very disappointed. The service was decent, to be fair, but the work is horrible. A simple hemming, I can do MUCH better myself with a sewing machine.Service:Alterations
Munkster Funkster: Amazing staff and high quality suits
Jerry Lee: Awesome.Support Small Business
Grant Grinnell: Quality work and lovely staff.
Rob MacDonald: It's unfortunate that "I was with my tailor" is a sentence that too few men are able to truthfully say. When you buy clothes 'off the rack', you are limited to other people's choice of fabric, colour and style - and the clothes rarely have a proper fit - and thus when you dress to make a statement you are at best quoting other men's words. When you choose to be tailored you are enlisting an expert - an artist who "will enhance what nature has(n't) provided",: you will have the luxury of choosing cloth, style, placement of pockets...your clothes will be an exponent of your personality - and they will FIT!Nothing equals the Bespoke Experience.
Lisi Feng: I was so excited to find that Modernize Tailors also makes cloth masks, and Mia absolutely exceeds my expectations. She's always prompt to respond to my inquiries. When I told her the masks she sewed for my 3 year old son were a bit too small (which has nothing to do with her work but rather due to the fact that my son is quite big), she offered to make two bigger ones for my son for free. I can't thank her enough for her professional work and how much she cares about her customers. Would definitely recommend to friends and families around!
R Low: Positive:Professionalism,QualityWe brought their face masks. Good quality material and attention to details ! Comfortable to wear. My 8 year old loves his junior mask too 🤗
Darren Scott: I took my suit pants here to have them fixed after having sub-par alterations done elsewhere...Mia and Chris were excellent! The pants turned out perfectly, and it was very easy to do business with them. I would highly recommend them for any tailoring needs. I've been to several tailors in the past with disappointing results...so it's very nice to find somewhere that's doing things properly.
Gordon Havelaar: Excellent local business selling masks and supporting the community. Thank you!
Aimee Greenaway: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGood quality and fast service! The mask I ordered was shipped quickly and I'm happy with the product.
Mary Salas: I stumbled upon Modernize Tailors Instagram page as I was looking to find re-usable, fashionable and comfortable masks to use during the pandemic and what will most likely be our new “normal”. I inquired via their direct message on Instagram and Mia was very helpful and replied promptly. She sent me pictures of the different fabric available to choose from. When I arrived to pick up my order, Mia and her assistant (didn’t ask name, I’m so sorry) were both helpful and friendly!!! Very satisfied with the service and with the product I purchased (i especially love my Winnie the Pooh mask) !!! I hope to be able to do business again with the Modernize Tailors team as I had a really good experience. I will definitely be telling my friends and family about them!! Thank you again Modernize Tailors :)
Briany Tai: Had the opportunity to go in for a custom suit consultation with Mia and Chris. It was fun to exchange some idea and gain so much knowledge on suits and how to mix-and-match as well! Can’t wait to see my suit and looking forward to impress my peeps!
Alex Nesterenko: Thank you a lot! My wife’s wedding dress was amazing. Tailors are the nicest people in Vancouver. They helped with altering my pants as well :)

Brascia's Tailors: what do users think?
Lana Grymaloski: I saw a suit, off the rack, transformed into what my husband enjoyed wearing, and looked good in, for our son's wedding. Most Impressive, the service, knowledge and Tailoring. He'll be back for his next suite.
Angelo Delli Santi: Mike and Russ show first class service!
Graeme Christopher: I went to Brascia to buy a suit for my wedding and Russell helped me out. Ended up being very happy with how the suit turned out and will be back!Services:Suit tailoring,Custom made clothing
Anthony Herman: Best clothing store for men in downtown Vancouver 👌
Andrés Escobar: I got my suit fixed really fast
Nick Fergus: Russel was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for.Services:Alterations,Suit tailoring,Men's clothing alterations,Shirt tailoring
Marisol C: I had forgotten to review Brascia's! But we've had only great experiences with them. My now husband has had 3 suits made there. (By Russell) one of the suits was for our wedding. They had a great deal at the time and the price was very reasonable. Cannot recommend them any higher!
Michael Frost: Wonderful. Great service and excellent selection of clothing and accessories. Highly recommend.
Grant Atwood: Visited here a couple of times and enjoyed all of my purchases! I bought a fantastic rain jacket and a suit for a Christmas party in 2021. Also purchase some high rise sneakers that I love. Love the brands, the service and really the entire experience. One of the best spots in Vancouver!
wangbohai Wu: It was such a pleasure working with Mike! Great taste of fashion and I was able to get a double breasted blazer which I wanted for a long time.
Tony Bae: Knowledgeable, and experienced, best shop in town for all your needs - dress shirts, made to measure suit, accessories, you name it. Thanks Mike.
Snapfive Beats: They make you feel taken care of.
Bill Phillips: Excellent knowledgeable clothiers with a very good selection of quality clothing.
Lindsay Erikson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHands down the best menswear in Vancouver and incredible service!!! These guys know their stuff, highly recommend.
Veera Grover: Good
Karen Rai: Brascia Tailors is one of the best shops in Vancouver for men's attire! My father has been shopping at this store and every piece he has is absolutely beautiful including the recent winter sports blazer he just got! The quality of professionalism, honesty and quality you get from the whole entire Brascia team is absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend all men should visit this shop for there wardrobe needs! Also Ladies if your looking for a nice gift for your loved ones, this is the place to visit.
FRANK PASACRETA: The best menswear store in Vancouver
Jakeb Jonas: Brascia's does some amazing tailoring. They took a pair of pants that were too small for me and made them bigger and they look amazing. Saved me a couple hundred dollars and were able to finish tailoring the pants under a tight deadline as I am leaving the country. The staff are polite and very knowledgeable.
Carlo: Excellent tailors and many years of knowledge and experience . I will admit I had no clue how to wear a suit or what to look for. Mike helped me out every step of the way, and now I know what it’s like to look good in a suit! Thanks !
Nigel Boeur: Incredible service, excellent selection, great value on Canadian-made high quality suits.I was looking for a suit to wear to my wedding, and I heard from a friend that Brascia's Tailors would be a good spot to check out. My fiance and I walked in at opening on a weekday morning and were greeted by a wonderful employee named Russell. He gave us a quick overview of the different options available from off-the-rack/tailored to bespoke, and once I explained that I wanted to stay at the low end of their price range, he provided a bunch of options to try on. I really liked that Russell's emphasis was on finding a suit that fit well, rather than just trying to upsell. After spending an hour trying on the different options, I narrowed it down to one suit, which Russell graciously put on hold for me for 48hrs as I wanted to think on it a bit more before purchasing (this was because although it was the least expensive suit in the place, it was still over my budget by a decent amount... first time suit shopper here!). After much consideration and crunching of numbers, I decided that due to overall budget restrictions, I needed to purchase the cheaper suit I had previously found elsewhere which was obviously of a lesser quality, but did also fit me well. I called Russell back to let him know that I wouldn't be moving forward with the suit he had put on hold, and he was extremely understanding, and happy for me that I found something elsewhere that would work for my budget. I won't forget the incredible customer service exhibited by Russell and will certainly visit Brascia's again for a suit when my budget allows. I highly recommend that you visit the store and see what they have to offer!
Brad: Custom suit. Just went through the process with Mike, with his 40 years of knowledge and attention to detail I can't wait to get my wedding suit!

Oakridge Tailors: what do users think?
Angela P: All I can say is HOLY SMOKES the seamstress works magic!! I brought a lopsided and horribly made Indian bridal shirt that my in-laws bought for me. The seamstress completely transformed it into a luxurious top. Before, the shirt was lopsided in the front and the hem was completely uneven in the front and back. She had to remove the front panels, take in the sides and hem the bottom. I wish I took a before and after photo, because the transformation is amazing. The price she charged was totally fair and reasonable too. I AM SO IMPRESSED WITH HER WORK!! I CAN’T RECOMMEND THIS SEAMSTRESS ENOUGH!
Danielle Palmer: Amazing customer service and expert tailoring service. I bring them everything from shirts to pants to gowns and they’ve done an excellent job every time!
G: Best tailor I was able to find in Vancouver. Oakridge Tailors will always have my business. I've altered and repaired pants, altered coat sleeves with buttons, sport coats, etc. The attention to detail is on point and everything comes out above my expectations. It's a breath of fresh air to see your clothes really cared for.Services:Alterations,Waist adjustments,Men's clothing alterations,Cuffs alterations,Clothing repairs
Rita Museme: Personable and really sweet with a Doug a must for alterations.
Sandy (Sandshark): They have done it all. Have had entire suits reshaped and altered. Pants recut. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have used many tailors in the past. I won't go anywhere else now.Services:Pants alterations,General repairs,Waist adjustments,Women's clothing alterations
Curtis Wong: Brought a varsity jacket in that was a size too big I bought from Japan. The couple that runs the business took the time to listen to my request with the jacket and offered advice on the best outcome for the alterations. The jacket came out perfect. I really appreciate their professionalism, friendliness, and skill set. Would go to them for any future alterations for pricier items and will recommend them to friends.Services:Alterations,Coat jacket alterations,Men's clothing alterations
David Jardine: Amazing customer service. Friendly and does fantastic work. Taking all of my alterations here! Definitely recommend :)
Alexander Sutton: If you need a tailor, this is the best place. Been taking my stuff here for years.
Patricia: Been here a few times and am always happy with the consistent and honest service! They have hemmed three of my legging pants and also a quite expensive denim jacket (that I was afraid of having altered) that was too long for me. For my jacket, William also gave his honest opinions and suggestions as the jacket could have only been shortened to a certain point otherwise it would cut off my pockets at a weird place. Really appreciated the honesty and advice!Picking up my clothes are always on time and hassle free too. Thank you so much! I will keep coming back here for the amazing and wonderful service and work done every time!
Liam Ross: I'll first say that this was my first real visit to a tailor in my lifetime-- I came in with a suit, three shirts, and two pairs of pants which I needed altered for my line of work. When I first arrived, I immediately felt welcomed and helped when I entered the store. Throughout the fitting session, William and Joy were highly honest, telling me what were the unnecessary repairs based on my budget, and what the best alterations would be to make. Lastly, we scheduled a pickup day, which was on time with no stress. I will definitely be back in the future as this was a very positive experience for me! Would 10/10 recommend to a friend.Service:Alterations
Teresa Chiu: I appreciate the open and honest conversation I had with Will. I brought in a hoodie that I wanted cropped. He said it could be done, but because of the kangaroo pocket, it would look strange. Will also explained if the pocket was taken off, the double stitch on either side would leave unsightly holes. I'm not sure if another tailor would take the time to advise me on an alteration.Service:Alterations
Manon Lee: Excellent service. A wee bit expensive but lovely staff and quality work! Worth it for your lovely cloths.
Veronica Jones: Incredible service & alteration work. I've used Oakridge Tailors a few times now. They are very personable people who provide excellent and honest tailoring services. I would definitely recommend using Oakridge Tailors!Service:Alterations
S Nazerali: Not a good experience with my jeans. The hemming on the bottom of the legs is awful - who ever cut the jeans to hem them, made the leg bottoms look crooked and angled. I wouldn't even give it one star if I had the choiceService:Alterations
Rosemary F: Went to them in summer and got some dresses I bought fitted to me.yes a bite pricy however the quality and attention to detail is fantastic. They have pride and knowledge and are a great pair. Joy and I am allergic to dogs so the day I went back they made sure the dog not near me. |how thoughtful and considerate sorry for the delay thank youService:Alterations
송시연: Before you go: make sure you bring a debit card or cash. I went to get a pair of pants hemmed; it cost 25 dollars (a little pricier than I expected) but my pants turned out perfect. I had a specific pair of shoes in mind and brought them with me to try on; I described very generally what I wanted the end result to be, "slightly long but not dragging on the floor" and that's exactly what I got. Really friendly, Coconut (dog) is also very friendly! I plan to return with my other ill-fitting clothes. Thank you so much :)Service:Alterations
Mike Scott: Service:AlterationsPositive:Professionalism,Quality
Kaitlyn Hui: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueVery kind, non judgemental and an incredibly quick turn around. Might be a little pricy for students but it was worth it considering how great of a job they did!Service:Alterations
Deno Brown: Over priced, not worth it.
Lisa Haywood: They hemmed my dress for 50 dollars, cheaper than I had expected! Very clean place. Unfortunately they dont fix backpack tears.
Cathy. Tang: William is awesome, super personable and funny. He helped us expedite our garment and pants and did such an excellent job, perfect fit! He insists on personally tailor every customers’ clothing himself or with his wife. This keeps the quality consistent and guaranteed. Lovely people here, and very trust-worthy. If you’re looking for a tailor, don’t doubt it just come!

Seville Tailors: what do users think?
chan mok: Place is great. I would say it's not budget friendly but my gosh these are some nice suits can't go wrong
Diljeet Hundal: Pat is a true Master Tailor he has attention to detail most could never appreciate. I consider myself lucky to have a suit tailored by Pat, he makes sure his costumers are 100% satisfied something you don't see much of these days.Services:Cuffs alterations,Custom made clothing,Design,Suit tailoring,Shirt tailoring
Ronald Klarenbeek: Pat is a legend and truly one of a kind. Pat is a gentleman and a man of his word. I value all his knowledge and love that he took the time to show me his shop and where the work is done. Very hard to find a master at his trade these days !Thank you Pat, I look forward to seeing you soon.Services:Suit tailoring,Alterations
Matt Moradi: Sorry that I have to write this bad review! I usually write only good reviews online and if something is wrong with a business, I prefer to talk to them in person and help them to fix minor issues!!!But this one was a real bad!!!Worst Tailors in town, no joke.awful job, awful attitude and absolutely zero customer service!!!How a business like this is even operating!? Maybe he was “SOMEONE” someday, but those days are gone! Don’t get fooled people
Aman Nijjer: Best Tailors in town, no joke. U have to walk in and look at the walls, you'll know when u go in for yourself. It's an amazing spot. He does all styles of suites. Anything u can think of. He's truly talented.
John Henry: Excellent experience, very professional, I will be going back!
Gabriel Vitus: Pat has a huge amount of experience and knowledge. This is not about only cutting and stiching, it is about designing an outfit including shirts and accessories. . Excellent! I would give more stars if possible.Service:Design
Paul: The suit turned out great, too bad he missed the 2 month deadline and I couldn't wear it for the event I wanted... So it'll just sit in the closet now. He initially told me we had plenty of time and it would be no problem, then there were constant delays and poor fits, needing more tweaking... I've never needed so many visits for a custom suit before. I'll take my business elsewhere.
al y: 3.5/5He's old school and doesn't believe in slim fit suits. If you have your own ideas about how suits fit and they're on the slimmer side, I wouldn't come here.Customer communications are very frank and he won't make any efforts to be nice.Price is standard but scheduling seems a bit long on the month of July. I'm not sure about other times.
Jacky Ly: fantastic suits by Pat. I would give Pat some patience given how many suits he's got orders for, plus everyone is a little slower with age. However, he doesn't miss a detail. He's done many suits for celebrities.
Eman Sip: I purchased two suites. Both were three piece suits and two shirts as well. They fit perfectly and the service was impeccable. I received so many compliments at my sister’s wedding. I will definitely be going there from now on.
Aaron Smith-Hayes: Amazing service and quality!!
David Peter: Great service! Great quality!
De Fault: Always first class!
Loi Todesco: About 8 yrs ago I started looking for an Italian tailor that did everything “in house”; nothing farmed out. I purchased a 2 piece suit, and 2 shirts. Exceptional! Pat is a Master Tailor. He learned the trade as a child in Italy, and has been doing it for 64 years. All the wool material is imported from Italy and England. I’ve purchased 2 more suits and 3 shirts since the first one. Again, EXCEPTIONAL !!! There is nothing that surpasses a tailor made suit for a man to look his best, and Pat is the Best!
Riley Giasson: I'll tell you what the best part of shopping at Seville's is: Pat Cocco and his team. Pat has helped me with my wedding suit, but I enjoyed his services so much that I've gone back for more. He's fun, passionate, and has over six decades of experience. His personality is reflected in his choice of fabrics and design. Overall there's great prices and quality to be found at Seville Tailor's.
Steve Li: COVID19 has resulted in me wearing suits much less this past year, but I thought now would be a good a time as ever to add to the wardrobe. So over the past few months I've ordered a number of dress shirts and suits, my first time dealing with Seville Tailors.Pat Cocco provides friendly, knowledgeable, top rate service. The quality of the materials, the fine workmanship and of course the perfect fit ... all I can say is WOW as words can't properly describe how great it feels all coming together.Seville Tailors is truly one of a kind and Old School in this changing business. Thanks Pat, I'll be back for more and my only regret is not finding your shop 20 years ago.Service:Design
Joseph Cocco: One of a kind experience! They dont make fine clothing like this anymore unless you visit the master tailor Pat Cocco. From beginning to end the process is done by hand and scrutinized along the way. Custom tailored to your body big, small and in between. He is flexible and is willing to make special orders available to your busy schedule. He made be a beautiful tweed hunters/ sport coat for my wedding it is a timeless piece! I love it, highly recommend for all fine clothing needs. From alterations, weddings/whole groomsmen parties, uniforms, high profile occasions and special orders. He has extensive experience in the trade and is the only one locally I know of that does all his work in house. He has crafted suits for many high profile actors featuring in movies, 2010 Olympics and much more! This is the professional, Master tailor Pat Cocco.5 star experience
Poker Account: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueVery authentic service. Pat makes you feel like an important person and makes you look like a statement. All my suits come from him thank you pat keep up the good fight
Michael Johal: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value

Townline Tailors Inc: what do users think?
Khalid S: I decided to checkout this place to get two pairs of dress pants hemmed and tapered. I was greeted by the store owners, who were both very kind and attentive. They made sure they understood how I wanted my pants altered and offered their suggestions as well. Shortly after, I picked up my pants and was pleasantly surprised with the alterations. This will be my go-to tailor going forward!
Jacob Bragg: Very friendly service, quick work, and very well done! Thank you, and see you next time I need something altered!Services:Men's clothing alterations,Formal wear tailoring
Bob Gujral: Very happy with the service and attention to detail!!! I really appreciate quality off the serviceServices:Men's clothing alterations,Alterations,Cuffs alterations,General repairs,Coat jacket alterations
Farzad Daei: Friendly and fast service! Very experienced and professional tailors with a good eye for quality work.
Amir Kazemi: They altered my suits for my high school graduation. Their workwas excellent, and they were very friendly and helpful.Services:Alterations,General repairs
Kat: Great service and skill, saved my dress that was ruined by the other tailor shop. Friendly staff too! Highly recommended to everyone who is looking for the best tailor in town.Service:Alterations
William de Courcy: One of the last true tailors! The very best in Vancouver - this is the only place I take my fine clothing for alterations. The quality and detailed work done here is unmatched. I’ve had too many issues with other alterations places in the past, it’s such a blessing to know about Townline.
Michael Job: The work Hana and Najib do is amazing. They are always very professional and all the clothes they have tailored for me come out looking perfect. If you need tailoring work done in Vancouver, I strongly recommend their services.
Isabel Thompson: I broke the zipper on my coat pocket, a tricky pocket to fix. They were able to fix it perfectly and right away - within an hour. They even fixed the other zipper which was on its way out. Great service and lovely staff, thank you!
Logan Peters: These guys really saved me with a same day tailoring. Other places I called that advertised "same day" tailoring flatly refused as they were "too busy". Towline took the job and got it done same day even though it turned out to be more complicated than they initially thought. Thanks!
P P: Ive been coming here for about 16 years and seen the ownership change hands serval times. As I was about to leave the past in the past, the new owners really took me by storm. The new head tailor puts love into his work he which resulted in beautiful finished work. Ive lost about 35lbs and had them alter several pieces of favourable clothing which had been brought back to life, to fit in my daily wardrobe.Highly recommend this tailor to those that need their services.
Avery King: The most AMAZING STAFF! I ruined the zipper in my dress 1 hour before an event, walked in and she had me good to go in minutes. I cannot recommend them highly enough, so courteous and calm in a crisis
Theo Sirohi: I had a group interview with a few friends at a financial firm in Vancouver. The suit which I had recently bought for this new position looked great, but it was missing something. I stopped by Townline Tailors and was greeted by kind employees. They were very helpful and knew exactly what to do with the suit jacket and pants. Townline employees only took about a week and then had my suit ready. It fit perfectly and I felt like David Beckham. The well-fitted suit coupled with new confidence clearly helped as I got the job. Ill definitely be coming back.Services:Suit tailoring,Alterations,Pants alterations,Formal wear tailoring
roham: I was looking for tailoring in the downtown area and I came across Townline. I got a suit a couple months ago that needed alternations. Service was great, alterations were finished much faster than I expected.Service:Alterations
Vicki Hansford: The service was first rate! Thank you Jude! And the craftsmanship on the re-lining of a man’s cashmere winter coat was excellent. I highly recommend on all counts.
Don “Dino” bidin: Just happened to visit this amazing shop and had wonderful quick service and the staff where more than helpful. Overheard this young girl complaining about the service I gather she was trying to get her service for free... look lady if you can't afford the service maybe you should try sewing it yourself...and then I see her review trying to discredit a reputable business. Some peopleServices:Alterations,General repairs
Linda Ding: Had a terrible experience getting my coat sleeve shortened here. The coat I got back had obviously different coloured stitch, asymmetrical and croaked stitching. There were open stitches everywhere (see picture). When I asked if this was the expected result post alterations I was told point blank this was because they do it with machine and to expect croaked stitching. It is one thing to have poor quality work, and another to stand by it! Is there no pride in your work?Additionally when I first took in the coat I was told to pick it up on a specific date in 2 weeks. I went in just after 2 weeks and was told it still wasn't done and to come back in a few days. A curtesy update would have been appreciated if things were going to be delayed??? And to get this result back after 3 weeks... I was absolutely shocked and disappointed. The only good thing about the experience was how readily they offered a refund, but only AFTER I went to Holt and had it reassessed there and told them what they said. Thankfully I was able to get the coat fixed at Holt, for half the price no less.I am willing to pay and wait for high quality work but you can't have poor worksmanship AND slow turnaround time AND be pricey.I see there are other reviewers who has had a good experience so maybe they do a good job sometimes. But I will not be returning to this place nor will I be recommending this place to any of my friends or family. The worksmanship is too variable and you just don't know what you will get back from them.
Kevin Mancherjee: With bags stuck in transit, Townline Tailors really help us out. Would recommend to everyone.Service:General repairs
Anisa Kassam: Really great customer service! The new guy there was very friendly and helpful and had my garments done before the set date and even called me to let me know they were ready for pick up. They did a great professional job.Service:Alterations
Grace Severson: The service was impecible, the staff really friendly and they altered my pants on a rush so I would have them for a special event. This will definitely be my go to for all my alterations needs!Service:Alterations
KOCHANSKI V P: Had my new suit fitted at Townline Tailors. They were quick, reliable, and dependable. I recommend this shop over any in the downtown core. No complaints! Mr. Jude at the shop was great!
