Best Western Plus Sands: what do users think?
Anna Marie Witthohn: I was in love with this hotel !! It’s right next to the beach, it has some really fun interior design, and the service was above and beyond truly. They seriously had someone standing by the front door who opened the door for me every time I came out or in. Talk about being made to feel like a guest! The whole time they were just so accommodating and nice and helpful. They gym was small, but also, it’s a 3 minute walk from the beach so why wouldn’t you just go running there ?? That’s what I did. The sauna was incredible tho. I really loved it here 5 stars y’all rock !
Eryn (eryngobragh): In a great location! The Davie Village is fantastic and the hotel is in a nice central location to Stanley Park and the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the pub in the hotel had good food. Will definitely stay here againRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Roger S: The pub food is absolutely disgusting - this used to be decent place, yet they've gone completely down hill. Had lunch today and our Asian waitress with limited English could only point at menu items, respond with 'ok' and smile. Our burgers where beyond gross....thick dry "beef" patty, wilted lettuce, old hard bacon served with large cut greasy fries. No effort, care or attention - perhaps the dishwasher made it due to being short staffed?? Upon entering the hotel lobby, we saw a male staff member with a grocery bag filled with provisions scurrying towards the kitchen - how tacky! I guess they expect their customers to be drunk in order to eat the garbage they shovel out??? Very, very disappointing as a Westend local of 30 years to experience the deteriation of what was once upon a time, a great place to eat when they actually took pride in their food quality. Will not return or recommend going forward.
Paul E.: A perfect hotel to stay at in downtown Vancouver. The room was spacious, decorated very tastefully and the bed was incredible. To top it off the staff is friendly and willing to help out with requests. If I'm back in Vancouver I know where I'm staying!Rooms: The room was quite large and comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator were very handy to have. The shower was wonderful and the bed was just right for a restful night.Walkability: You're very close to restaurants, grocery and drug stores in case you need anything. The proximity to English Bay is excellent.Food & drinks: The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel is very convenient. It's a popular spot!
B. Melchin: The hotel had nice rooms, good service. It's right by the beach, tons to see and do. But it is Vancouver, you'll meet some interesting people right there just outside the lobby.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
AmbrosiusMD: I don’t have much experience with high-end hotels for reference here, but I really enjoyed my stay.
Christian Pascual: Old and dirty. The night clerk that checked us in was rude and dismissive. Only positives were the convenient location and numerous taxis nearby.
Saeed Mohajeri: Old & dusty feeling (specially in public areas), always too crowded, expensive, small parking. AC was noisy but didn’t really cool down the room.
kikinit 1234: Rooms were outdated, horrible view from our room. We booked a king bed, ended up with 2 doubles.Location was killer, right in the middle of everything, walking distance to restaurants, beachs, parks, grocery stores, pubs, etc. Busy little area, but lots to do.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
corinne Johnson: Clean, comfortable room. The Park Pub on site has decent food. The parking lot is not very big and difficult to use if you have a larger vehicle.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Dan McCrossen: Perfect location, but this hotel needs some serious attention. The rooms are decent, but the exterior looks pretty run-, down. Stay was very nice, but I left my Firestick in the room (you can't connect it), then called to see if they found it and they said "no", meaning they DID find it and someone kept it. Not cool.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Edwina Caparelli: The only reason I didn't give the room a five stars was because we were over the bar, but we knew we were going to be. I'm a cleaner and I found the rooms to be very clean. I inspected it like I would inspect the cleaners at my job, they took the time to dust in places that normally you would not check. The hotel staff was super kind. There was a programming error with my card key but I think the onsite manager or maintenance person was super helpful. The bar downstairs was a gem--such good food. Waiter took our order without taking any notes and got it spot-on. The food was so good and the price even better. The location is perfect because it's right on English Bay; you have so so many options for food! The cactus club is across the street, you've got endless middle Eastern restaurants, your choice of Starbucks or Tims. Transit is right outside the hotel. I will be back next trip. Price was right too!
josh rogers: If you're in the Vancouver area, this is a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mel Dixon: Really friendly staff. The Park Pub is amazing for food and entertainment.Food & drinks: Good prices. Happy hour and specials.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More

The West End Guest House: what do users think?

Ellese O'Keefe: A beautiful guest house, where you’re cared for and looked after. Wonderfully decorated and incredibly comfortable. Will visit again and highly recommend. Maybe a 10 minute walk from the centre of Vancouver.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Romantic …More
Ange L: A wonderful place to stay! Excellent service and well maintained property. We would love to come back and try staying in all the different rooms.
Rich Vedas: The West End Guest House is a really wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Vancouver. This was our first time in Vancouver and Paul was such a gracious, wonderful host who spent time sharing the history and vision of the house with us.The house itself was cozy and inviting. We loved the breakfast (with homemade pastries) and the fireplace. The entire staff made our visit perfect with lots of little touches including providing excellent local food recommendations. The house is located within easy walking distance of many attractions and neighborhoods including Stanley Park, the seawall, Robson and more.We will definitely be back
dwildhirt: I've stayed at WEGH several times over the past 30 years or so. Each time has been a special experience, and the current owners Paul and David have upheld that tradition. This is a true bed-and-breakfast, with delightful rooms, exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect alternative to big-city hotels, yet it's convenient to great shopping and dining, along with attractions like Stanley Park. While Vancouver's West End has grown and changed over the years, the Guest House remains a quiet oasis amid a bustling and beautiful city.
JC Dauphin: Overall, a nice experience but a few minor details disabling the full/5* score ;-)First of all, the location and the house are respectively perfect and very beautiful, absolutely awesome, especially decoration & cleanliness!Likewise, our bedroom was very nice but in case of heat wave, the fan & open windows aren't sufficient, even during the night (although the old house likely explains the absence of A/C). The bathroom was a bit small but OK - the mattress on the other hand was way too soft and deep, too bad for us. Finally, breakfast was a bit disappointing, although home-made: a few innovations in some recipes were not so welcome (we will never forget our "Italian eggs casserole", literally awful to mix sausages with eggs cooked in the oven) - our table neighbors even ordered their own menu for the following day, being also not convinced at all; too bad, because the home-made muffins were great. The staff was very nice and pro... but we missed a bit more personal interaction with guests or above all, the hosts, whom we never met: a bit sad.The price was quite high but in range with the summer season and hotel pricing in the area - a plus is also definitely the free parking around: well done!
Robert Patterson: This was by far the best experience I've had with an accomodation. My partner and I arrived October 12th 2022 and the staff was very welcoming and the home itself is the most beautiful Ive slept in.There were simple but tasty breakfasts each morning and a variety of desserts and refreshments available 24/7. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Alexandra Tarr: Amazing stay, amazing place!
Jin Peh: This is an excellent bed and breakfast located in the West End of Vancouver. Rooms are stylish with lots of character. I stayed in room number three which had a window overlooking the back porch. The property is very well located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Breakfast is served at 8 am during the week and 830 am on the weekends. Staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted me with finding transport to the airport.
Guy Boulay: Perfectly located, you can walk to most of the Vancouver downtown points of interest. Breakfasts were great, hosts were friendly and helpful. This old house is a beauty. Two minor drawbacks:1. no air conditioning, which would have been appreciated during our stay right in the middle of a rare heat wave.2. a firmer bed would have been preferred. We would go back to this place any time and highly recommend it.
Kelsey M: Fantastic home with character! The bathrooms were modern and the bedrooms and shared areas maintained some Victorian vibes. I loved it! The breakfast was also incredible, not your average eggs and bacon! Fresh and delicious.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Protea 473: Mixed FeelingsPros: Very nice and authentically furnished rooms. Clean. Good parking and very centrally located.Cons: Although several fans were running, the room was very warm, we had to leave the windows open. It was very noisy at night (people walking home from parties/restaurants; homeless people sifting through the garbage behind the house for cans and bottles). The mattress was definitely too soft for us. No juices at breakfast. For someone who doesn't drink tea or coffee this is a problem and certainly not up to the standard the house sets for breakfast. All in all, after reading the many positive reviews, we expected more from this guest house.
Tom Sneddon: Excellent guest house recommended
Marc-Antoine Nadon: I had a wonderfull stay at this place. The location is central on one of the most biutifull street of Vancouver. People are realy welcoming and helpfull. The breakfast is really good and the available pastries are excellent.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Granville Island Hotel: what do users think?
Marjorie Michele Stobie: Situated on a lovely island, lots if shops and places to eat, things to do. Pricey but you don't need to go anywhere else if you don't want to.Nearby activities: Little theatre, boutiques and historical places. Easy access to water ferry.
Sharon Chatenay: If you bring your kids, a dog or both, this is the place to be!We came for business at the Vancouver General Hospital, only a 20 minute seaside walk away.I've stayed in downtown Vancouver many times with all the noise and bustle, and lack of greenspace. No such thing here. So convenient with Kitslano and its dog beach only 2 km away, walking oceanside to literally everywhere.Charleson Dog Park is also nearby with an Oceanview! Beautiful grassy areas with lit pathways right out the hotel doors , also a playground for the kids. The hotel staff and restaurant servers were attentive and very approachable. Rooms were well appointed, comfy beds and had a view of the ocean. There was a nice business center on our floor, also a bonus if you're working away from home.Parking was a breeze with surface self parking at 20 bucks a day. Access to the other side of Vancouver across the creek is easy with the shuttles and aquabuses everywhere. Want to paddleboard, kayak, sail, or rent a boat or go whale watching? It's all here. Bring your bike or use bikeshare to ride the amazing seawall that connects Kitsilano , Granville to Stanley Park and beyond. This is the only place we will stay at for future trips. What a gem!Rooms: Nice, clean and comfy. Not huge but adequate Some have small balconies . There's a hottub, ex room and sauna on the 3rd floorNearby activities: Everything!!!Safety: Accessibility may be a challenge for wheelchair users Check before you go . I saw people using walkers and such, but there is uneven surfaces throughout the area, old rail car tracksWalkability: Very walkableFood & drinks: Delicious food at Bridges Tap and Grill Seafood is the best here

Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Paul Post: Great hotel with plenty of rooms and friendly and helpful staff. I definite do over as the hotel is central to shopping and the beaches.Your are a 10-15 minute walk to all the attractions. Beaches, Canada Place, Gastown,False Creek. Cabs are stationed out side the hotel if you need a ride to airport or you can walk and catch the SkyTrain.
kim Yap: Near to restaurants and harbor bayRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ll Brown: Excellent experience here. The staff is very accommodating and nice. The room was nice and clean. The room had a separate sitting area, which works well for us. Overall, it was a great experience.Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and decorated nicelyNearby activities: Next to lots of shopping area.Walkability: Great location.Food & drinks: Great restaurants inside the hotelAlso, in a great location for other food locations
Michelle Rintz: The room was costly and we were very disappointed in the location. We had so much street noise which would have been understandable, but the fire department is a block away and there were sirens all the time. They did seem to stop about 10pm, but if you are going to sleep before then or trying to take an afternoon nap it is quite difficult, bring earplugs. I feel for the cost, we would have probably stayed somewhere else.
Dan Last name: Front Desk took a long time to answer after missing some things we had asked for originally. One thing I find extremely irritating is a key card that won't work. If it works for the first 4 things but not for the next 20, your system is broken. It is embarrassing when your key card does not work, amd another guest comes along. It awkward. Any business that puts me in a socially awkward scenario is not going g to get more than 3 stars. Please fix your key card system. Imagine having to have a conversation with a stranger having to convince them that, yes you are staying here, and yes you do have access to the pool.
Evan Schwab: This hotel was what we were looking for. The rooms were small but comfortable and the wi does provide beautiful views of the city. The area this hotel is in is prime. I had a really good stay here and would definitely come backRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Ashley Nedeljak: I wish there was space in the fridge to store personal food and drink items. I usually stay because I am running and need to bring personal refrigerated food.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Aurora L (Aurora): Great location, but understaffed considering the size of the hotel. Renovated room was probably renovated 12 years ago.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Aleksandr Lyubezhanin: Awesome location with great serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Steve Ritchie: Fantastic hotel, but no access to the fridge as it is full of stuff they want you to buy. Besides that could not fault the hotel.Great deals at happy hour 3/5pm...Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, High-tech …More
Ziyue Hu: Service is top notch. Beds are super comfy too.
Diane B: I thought I was going to experience some luxury here. Last night of our trip. The room was spacious, the view was pretty cool and the bed was super comfortable. The disappointment was that the room decor was very dated, there was no closet in the bedroom, the shower was so tiny and old, I wasn't sure if it was mold or marble markings where the floor and the shower walls met, I wore my flip flops in the shower. The coffee station was not great, no instructions and I got my water from the bathroom tap. Not what I expected from a King suite. We went down to the pool and whirlpool and also wore my shoes the whole time, there were hairs on the floor around the pool and no one was there. You had to go to a different floor to reach the change rooms.I wouldn't stay here again.Parking was $50 a night which seems like a gauge but parking in the city is brutal. At least there were good restaurants in walking distance.
Naz Ganjee: The manager of the hotel was very kind! He attempted to assist us with finding alternative transportation to the airport when our flight was cancelled and re-booked at an airport outside of Vancouver! Thanks for the fantastic visit with excellent and friendly staff!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Wynne Collins: Beds were super comfortable! The room was great and I had an excellent view (19th floor). I was one block from my conference, so easy to get to. My one complaint was gym hours (7 AM - 10 PM). Made it impossible to work out in the morning. 6 AM start would make more sense. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I really enjoyed the stay,
Katie Morgan: Beautiful hotel and very accommodating staff. Location is great for walking to shopping, Granville Island, Stanley Park, etc. Very central and clean.Walkability: Excellent proximity to many downtown attractions. Easily walkable to avoid driving in Vancouver traffic.

Bonnie Holmes: The room was really nice. Bed was so comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.Walkability: Walking in the area was easy and felt very safe. Lots of people were out walking. It was a beautiful day to do so.
Ellen M. Goldsmith: My spouse and I enjoyed our 2 nights here. We took a Lyft to Canada Place Ship Dock to boad HAL to Alaska. The Blue Horizon's king bed was so comfortable. There were USB slots on side of iPhone charger (DIDN'T work to charge Android phone) & on side of simple clock radio. I always carry a USB connector and plugged into desk lamp. There wasn't a plug on my bedside table. The bath is VERY small. Single sink. Plenty of counter space. Built in cabinets for towels, glass cups, etc. The shower space was very nice and long. Both my spouse and I had trouble regulating the water to the heat that we wanted. There is a main shower head and a lift off one, too. Once I got the hang of it, it was OK.There is a safe inside the mirrored closet next to the bathroom. There is also an ironing board, hangers and extra blankets. There is a very small balcony with a view of lots of tall apartment buildings (Room 601). Also, could see what between buildings. I was OK with that.Overall, we will be back (price is good for Vancouver) for overnight when our ship comes in. They are allowing us to leave our luggage while we take a paid tour of the City and Stanley Park.Walkability: BH is walkable throughout downtown Vancouver. It is surrounded by restaurants, mostly Asian. A small walk to Earl's a causal restaurant - we didn't eat there. We walked to Red Robin and had dinner there one night. Very nice. We ate Ramen one night and specified mild (no box to check for no spice). The noodles were too spicy for our American taste buds.
Sue Zee: Great safe location. Very convenient to have a Hop on Hop off bus stop right outside the doors. We were able to walk for breakfast at Coras. Also recommend checking out Brekka Cafe when you stay here. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed for a couple nights pre-cruise. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
David Krueger: Great views and great location. Upgrade to a higher floor if you can.

Shangri-La Vancouver: what do users think?
Brandon Lawrence L. Yu: Just look how beautiful the chandelier is in the lobby! I checked in for a day nights and I was greeted with a luxurious room with a tv in the tub wow! That took it to a new level the bags were there as quickly as possible I just love how nice this room is king sized bed and a couch bed wow I could not believe that it was the best room I’ve got it was not that crowded but great staff and I also enjoyed the buffet and the room service!.
James Song: I stayed with Shangri-la Vancouver which I booked with Amex Fine Hotel program, but that is not fine !!!I had bad experience for breakfast , so I complaint to the manager at reception, at that time, he said he will give me upgrade for next stay and free spa service for 4 people, cause this time is little bit too rush , and said will meet me when I check out !BUT !!! when I check out , he was not there , the front desk lady told me he is in meeting and send me follow up mail , but it's already 3 days, I didnt receive anything from them, not even my receipt,I FEEL CHEATED !!!!! this is not a 5 star hotel's service ! if you can't handle the complaint , do not lie to the customer!!!!I've beed stay with a lot of 5 star hotels , even those are not AMEX Fine Hotel's Program , they are doing better than this Hotel !!!Please give me an update see what they can do for me, and what Amex can do for me ,Thank you

Dëmin Photography (Wedding Photographer): As a wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of working in Shangri-La Vancouver and it is truly exceptional. The elegant and inspiring event spaces provide the perfect backdrop for any couple looking to create a unique and memorable wedding experience. It offers a range of sophisticated spaces to choose from. The private Terrace is a stunning location for couples to exchange their vows, with its floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the beauty of Vancouver. The natural daylight and unparalleled city views create an unforgettable setting for any wedding ceremony. The Conway Ballroom is the ideal space for couples looking to host a larger reception. As a wedding photographer, I appreciate the attention to detail and dedication that the team at Shangri-La Vancouver brings to an event.Overall, I highly recommend the Shangri-La Vancouver as a wedding venue. It offers elegant and inspiring spaces, as well as exceptional service, making it the perfect location for any couple looking to create a unique and unforgettable wedding experience.
James Hooland: Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was fast, and welcoming, and I felt so seen and valued my entire stay! Excellent front desk staff, solid room service options, and it smells AMAZING.
stella chen: The room is large and the scent of essential oils is comfortable. The plane can see that it is all glass buildings, and the location in the city center is very good.
C Kong: Plenty of parking below the hotel. Google always takes you to the front but just remember to turn right on Alberni and not Georgia while you’re on Thurlow street. Valet is $54 I believe and you can pay for overnight parking as well. It’s bright so it feels safe. Every staff we encountered was nice and pleasant. Elevator area was small. 3rd floor has the restaurant Carlino which had great food. If you go during breakfast there’s live music which is a treat to listen to. 5th floor has your pool/jacuzzi. Pool is spacious but jacuzzi was always packed. 24 hour workout facility had a good amount of equipment. Was clean and quiet. The spa had a nice and accommodating front desk person. The couples spa suite was nice but you could hear all the traffic from outside. The room we had was spacious. View was beautiful! Lots of toiletries, tub was huge, there were welcome cookies that were delicious. I’d come here again as it was a great place to stay at. It was also very close to Robson st which had lots of shops and restaurants.
Rodolphe Vanesse: A small and cozy hotel , great service, beautiful suite , great location
Rohin Khanna: It’s a Amazing Hotel I stayed for 3 nights, best part is their Bar! Nolan is most knowledgeable person I ever meet about scotch and drinks. Must visit.
Susan: Recently came back from a 3-night stay here and have to say it definitely ranks high on the list of best hotels I've ever stayed in.The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out, the rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet, and breakfast every morning at Carlino's was a delight (thanks to our lovely server every morning!). Overall, it truly felt like a luxury stay.My only remark to make is that on one of the days, there was a very large and rowdy group of guests in the pool, disturbing us (and other guests), and the attendant didn't say anything about this - however, our stay was perfect other than this particular moment.Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Layza Viana: I went for Shangri-La Hotel to Weeding Party. I loved that place. It's comfortable and fancy.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Liana W.: Great RMT massage. Outdoor mineral hot tub.Go early and enjoy the spaceWalkability: Right downtown, easy to walk to
Jessica Nelson: Booked a 60 min massage with Jeff. He was extremely attentive and focused on the areas I needed most. Left feeling super relaxed and pampered! They offer snacks and tea in the lounge area. If you have a chance, check out the outdoor pool for a quick dip.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in the city to unwind.

Times Square Suites Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Brad Henley: My wife and I are staying here currently. We love it so much. The "home" feel. The energy of the neighborhood, the friendliness of the staff, the amazing room, this is simply the best place we have ever stayed.Thank you.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
John Foster: This place was right down our alley. It's a very clean, quiet and nice small hotel in a great location with plenty of space in the suite including a kitchen and small balcony. The bed was very comfy too. There is also a nice sitting area on the rooftop with 2 BBQ grills. A Safeway grocery store is right across the street in case you forget to bring your steaks for grilling. 😁 It is a very short walk to Stanley Park and bike rentals for the park are less than a block away. Be sure to save time to walk to the seawall beach for sunset.
Kishan Geeganage: "Times Square Suites Hotel Vancouver is an excellent accommodation option in the heart of Vancouver's West End. The hotel offers spacious and well-equipped suites, which are perfect for families or travelers who want a bit more space. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. The location is fantastic, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the accommodation and the location. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Vancouver BC.
Robert Hughes: Ok, I travel a lot, and rarely would I give a hotel 5 stars. This place is great. Being suites, the rooms have everything. Full kitchen with washer and dryer. Fireplace, tv’s in both living room and bedroom. Extremely clean. Safeway across the street. 2 of the best Italian restaurants at street level. In other words, a fantastic location. Bus stops 1/2 block away. Parking in basement.
BRUCE MARTIN: Would definitely recommend and stay again. Staff was great, location was great, Room was awesome.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
Jess: Stayed in September 2022 stay at Time Square Suites Hotel prior to our cruise. We found our suite very comfortable and homely. The service was wonderful and the location is just fabulous. I only wish parking was free to hotel guests. Other than that all was great! Wish we could have stayed longer. So many tourist attractions and amazing food places close by.
Gareth Hicks: Fantastic Apartments
Alex Kingston: I’ve been staying here for over 10 years now and have accumulated well over 100 nights of being a valued guest. When I come here I always feel like I’ve come home to my family and not just a regular hotel. The staff are exceptional and care about not only the guests but also what they do and how they do it.The turnover rate for employees here is virtually non existent. In the ten years I’ve been visiting here it’s always the same amazing and beautiful people and there’s a reason they don’t leave. Each room is its own separate apartment with bedroom , kitchen , living room, fireplace and washer and dryer. It contains every convenience you’ll need for your trip and best of all the location can’t be beat. You’re literally a 3 minute walk to Stanley Park’s lost lagoon and hundreds of exceptional restaurants and shopping are at your door. Thanks for all the great memories over the years.A++++++++++++10/10
Eleanor Hicks-Green: Fabulous stay. The rooms are more beautiful in person, and the service was amazing. We had nothing but nice experiences here and wished we could have stayed longer. Andrew Halton: Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Vancouver.
Nicolas GIRARD: What a cute hotel! We loved our short stay there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel couldn't be located in a better area, it's only a few minutes away from Stanley Park.Rooms are great, there's everything you need. We also had a great view on the last floor.I highly recommend it!
Alyona T: Rooms: Our room was awesome, warm, quiet and good for the whole family.Nearby activities: There is plenty of activities nearby since it's almost downtown.Walkability: Great for walkers, sidewalks and parks all around the place.Food & drinks: There is a bunch of different cafes nearby, all kitchens and price ranges, also Safeway just across the road.
S.: I found this hotel based on location and ratings. It didn't disappoint and exceeded my expectations. Location is very convenient - walking distance to Stanley Park and tons of restaurants downtown. Starbucks downstairs, Safeway across the street corner, and multiple bike rentals across the street. Check-in and out were both smooth. Room was clean and quiet and came with a full kitchen, a fireplace, and washer and dryer. All staff I met were nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

Phil Bergman: Very nice apartment with a fabulous view. Well equipped with everything we needed. Top notch service, very friendly and ready to help.Nearby activities: close to lots of restaurantsSafety: Secure parkingWalkability: close to seawall
Multi Digital Industries: We flew to Vancouver from Australia and stayed here for 30 days over Summer 2022. The apartment was clean, with a spectacular view. There is no better location in our opinion to stay in the city, with all the conveniences right there. The team was easy and friendly to book with, and we look forward to our next stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Rossana Llenado: Best location in town. I never get tired of the views of the mountains, water, and city.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
LAJU NANWANI: If you are looking for a place that reflects Canadian hospitality and politeness-DONT book this place! A nightmare to deal with and behaviour bordering on harassment. Stay away from this place. I don't recommend them at all.
mark raven: I’m staying at VES for the fourth time in 18 months. Each time the apartment has been clean and well equipped and the staff have been excellent, Susan, Melissa, Wendy and Bailee all very helpful and friendly. Super value if you can commit to a months stay. Location is excellent, very central
John Hollister: We visited our family and stayed at VES for a month. The condo was fantastic and the location was perfect. The thing that made this trip even better was how we were treated by the VES team. Thank you Susan for understanding my needs and getting us the perfect unit.Wendi thanks for answering all of my pre arrival questions. Bailee you were so wonderful - you made us feel special. Melissa thanks for taking care of some of the details during our stay. You made us feel like family! We will definitely stay with you again!
Flona Tauro: Had a superb time staying in an apartment through Vancouver Extended Stay. Being fully furnished, our place was extremely comfortable, cosy and convenient. The housekeeping staff too was efficient and understanding to our family of four including kids. The maintenance personnel showed up promptly for any issues within the apartment. Had a memorable stay here and would like to come again!!
BJ Oudman: When we found out we were moving to Vancouver, we knew we wanted to be in the city to look for a place to live. Vancouver Extended Stay was a wonderful place to call home for a month! The location was perfect to access the peninsula on foot, enjoy the seawall and Stanley Park. The accommodations were well equipped, clean and efficient. The staff were responsive and helpful. The building was quiet, professional and well maintained. I would highly recommend VES to anyone looking for a longer term stay.
Norm Gill: I can't say enough about the quality service I received from the time I moved in to when I left. The team at Vancouver Extended Stay were amazing, Bailey and Melissa went out of way to make sure my stay went well. I would highly recommend staying here if get the chance, it defiantly was my home away from home.Norm
Lavonne Meyer: Would highly recommend Vancouver extended stay to everyone. Immaculately kept apartment. Great and friendly staff. The best all around.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
berokh B: AVOID AVOID this place at any cost they overcharge and have Susan their i’m assuming manager is rude and inconsiderate. I spent over 26 thousands dollars there when my parents has to stay there for months because They got stuck in Vancouver during Corona do to unforeseen circumstances!! First of they moved apartment from one building to another , tried to charge them extra for random things and at the end charged them extra 500 dollars after they left !!I AM ALSO REPORTING THIS BUSINESS TO BBB!!Stay away!!
Mike Nuss: We needed a furnished apartment to stay in for a couple of months after landing in the city until we had a permanent home. The location was great, the building is professionally managed, and the unit (1 bedroom plus den plus solarium) had the perfect layout! Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gary Froats: We just completed a 2 month stay in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath unit, and can't say enough good things about the property. It very quickly felt like home. VES staff were amazing and very helpful. Cleaning of the room every 2 weeks was a nice touch even though we had in suite laundry. Location is amazing as you can walk every where, with lots of shopping & restaurants nearby. Hope to be able to return again soon!Highly recommend!
robert granholm: Very nice suite and great location. Good amenities, and the cleaning staff was meticulous. The VES staff were always helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much!It was pricy however. There also seemed to be repeated issues with the elevator, which entailed fairly long waits at times. Perhaps they will iron that out shortly.
Yves Staheli: We had a really nice stay. The apartment was well equipped and we quickly felt at home.
C M: Fantastic stay. I stayed here with my family for one month over the summer. From the beginning on I received excellent service. My emails were answered swiftly (despite the time difference) and all my questions were answered.Prices were also reasonable and excellent value as we did travel in peak season. Downtown is one of the most expensive areas in Vancouver city and combined with the views you get as well as parking spaces, furniture and maid service the value is second to none. The apartment itself is stunning (please see my photos attached!) and a 5 minute walk to the seawall. All the furniture were extremely new and clean. It literally looks like the photos on the website (and that is rare these days!)Canada place is a 15 minutes stroll, both Grouse mountain and Capilano Bridge has a free shuttle service right by the apartment as well. There is so much to see around the area by foot and bike, you will save $$$ just from taxis and public transport otherwise! We even requested a non stick pan to cook with (as there were many high quality stainless steel pans provided, but we were used to teflon ), and within a few hours brand new one turned up free of charge! Any small issues we had were solved around 1 hour and latest within the day.It is the details in the team's efforts such as this and eagerness to please which makes the stay so pleasant. Everyone feels responsible to their customers which is fantastic.Do not waste your money elsewhere with staff who have 0 sense of responsibility after you have paid. It also works out way better value than Airbnb, hotels and other rental companies with apartments in the same building. For the same or even less money, you have luxury, space, freedom and a sense of security with the amazing team behind VES.
Alexandre Seibel: Best location in the city!
harshim malhotra: Nicely furnished Apartments with small rooms. All the possible amenities are already in place. Lacks a bit in hospitality.

O Canada House Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?
Yitzchack Gila: Excellent location for bed and breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a kitchenette for drinks and refreshments that is open all the time. Breakfast is served until 10 am and there are two options for the meal. The excellent location of the place allows access to interesting places in downtown Vancouver and also to the train station.
Carla McGrorty-Lavey: After several stays at O'Canada House it never disappoints...just gets better and better if possible. Outstanding B&B...the best we've stayed in throughout the world! We absolutely live it here. Staff are wonderful, food is to die for. Original and tasty. The rooms are exquisite, warm, cosy, luxurious and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. With fantastic history to boot!! Just the best 👌 Thank you very much O'Canada....we will always return, when passing through Vancouver.Rooms: Great wi fi...beds are so comfortable...rooms are warm and fab bathrooms.Safety: We love the attention to keeping the house safe with the safety requirements.Walkability: Easy, close to everything.Food & drinks: Just amazing...we love the complimentary home baked cookies, coffee and wee glass of Sherry in the Parlour in the evenings.

John Clezy: Beautiful old home, wonderful hospitality and great breakfast. Not to mention great location. Would recommend to anyone looking for a B&B in downtown Vancouver.
Frank G Canacari: Central location, friendly & welcoming staff, indulgent 24/7 pantry and a great breakfast to send you on your way. My new home base in Vancouver!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Byron Pelly: Top of the line establishment in Vancouvers west end. Very centrally located with tons of amenities within walking distance. Very unique and historical heritage house with modern finishings, while still maintaining the heritage house feel. Rooms are clean and serviced well by the staff. Breakfast is excellent with a pantry that is very accommodating for guests. Definitely a hidden gem of the west end.
Michele Centrella: Lovely, centrally located B&B in the heart of downtown Vancouver.Rooms: Beautifully decorated with antique furniture and furnishings. Quite adorable.Safety: Very safe walkable neighborhood.
Isaac: Within walking distance from many of the sights in downtown Vancouver and parking is also included (if available). Rooms were maintained in their original/renovated appearance and the carpets appeared to be decades old. Breakfast included each morning was adequate and a decent way to start the day. Rooms can occasionally be booked for around $150.
Theo Gritsch: Wunderschönes „altes“ Bed&Breakfast.Sehr freundliche und kompetente Angestellte!!!Zimmer in schönem Stile.
Ula Will: Super Zimmer. Der Service hat alles geboten, was das Herz begehrt. Man konnte den ganzen Tag Kaffee, Tee, Limonade, Cola trinken. Kuchen, Kekse, joghurt, Obst, abends noch ein Sherry. Klasse
Michelle Denault: Wonderful B&B in Vancouver. I would stay again if I found myself in Vancouver again. They truly made us feel at home. Breakfast in the morning was gourmet and was ordered the night before. There were two choices - one egg dish and one carb dish. The pantry was always open and offered homemade sweets, soda, juice, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or port. The B&B was within walking distance of the cruise port and about a 20 min drive from the airport. Perfect location!
Steve Mabbett: Great place to stay in Vancouver. Handy for hop on hop off bus and Stanley park. Staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Coffee and homemade cakes available 24/7. Amazing place.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Pete B: Great b&b. Beautiful rooms and the best breakfast I’ve had in any hotel anywhere.
Kate Sheppard: Lovely house with excellent accommodations. The breakfast was quality with a variety of both healthy and decadent choices. This is definitely a business rather than family home, but the staff work hard to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is much closer to downtown, so there were street noises. Our biggest disappointment was the entire third floor is one suite, and as in our case, one loud guest or group can ruin a good night sleep. It sounded as if people were holding up then dropping full suitcases on the floor above us. Several times it actually caused our windows to rattle.
Evelyn Gennaccaro: CleanGreat location24/7 pantry-delicious homemade treats wTea/ coffee/ cold drinks and fresh fruitAmazing breakfastVery friendly helpful staffThank you again
